मनुष्य की अज्ञानता - 3
पिछले लेख में, प्रेरितों 17:30 में कही गई बात कि परमेश्वर अज्ञानता के समयों में किये गये पापों के लिये दण्ड देने की बजाए, उनकी आनाकानी करने के लिये तैयार है को समझने के लिये हमने बाइबल के कुछ तथ्यों को देखा था: परमेश्वर हमेशा, हर किसी के साथ, मसीही हो या गैर मसीही, अपने चरित्र और गुणों (निर्गमन 34:6-7; व्यवस्थाविवरण 32:4) के अनुसार ही व्यवहार करता है। वह हम मनुष्यों की रचना और क्षमता को भली-भांति जानता है; उसे सदा ध्यान रहता है कि मनुष्य मिट्टी ही है (भजन 103:14); परमेश्वर किसी दुष्ट की भी मृत्यु से प्रसन्न नहीं होता है, वरन चाहता है कि सभी लोग पाप का दंड पाने से बच जाएँ (यहेजकेल 33:11)। परमेश्वर की यह कदापि इच्छा नहीं है कि मनुष्य किसी बुराई में फंसे, और गिरे; न तो वह स्वयं बुराई के द्वारा परखा जाता है, और न ही वह बुराई के द्वारा किसी की परीक्षा करता है (याकूब 1:13)। साथ ही परमेश्वर का आश्वासन भी है कि वह हमें हमारी सामर्थ्य से बाहर किसी परीक्षा में नहीं पड़ने देगा, वरन परीक्षा के साथ निकासी का मार्ग भी देगा (1 कुरिन्थियों 10:13)। इसी लिए परमेश्वर, शैतान द्वारा धूर्तता और चतुराई से लाई गई हमारी सामर्थ्य से बाहर परीक्षाओं में हमें गिरा देने और पाप कर बैठने के लिए बहका देने से उत्पन्न स्थिति की आनाकानी करने और सभी मनुष्यों को पाप के दण्ड से बचने का अवसर देने के लिए तैयार है। आज हम इसी बात से सम्बन्धित बाइबल की कुछ अन्य बातों को भी देखेंगे और समझेंगे।
परमेश्वर अपने लोगों की परीक्षा लेता है, जैसे उसने अब्राहम की परीक्षा की (उत्पत्ति 22:1), हिजकिय्याह को परखा (2 इतिहास 32:31)। किन्तु जब परमेश्वर के किसी जन की कोई परीक्षा शैतान के द्वारा होनी होती है, तो शैतान केवल परमेश्वर की अनुमति, और उसके द्वारा निर्धारित सीमाओं के अंदर ही कार्य कर सकता है, जैसे कि हम अय्यूब की परीक्षाओं से देखते हैं (अय्यूब 1:8, 12; 2:3, 6)।
किन्तु अदन की वाटिका में शैतान द्वारा आदम और हव्वा को भरमाना, न तो परमेश्वर की इच्छा में था, न उसके लिए परमेश्वर ने शैतान को अनुमति दी थी, और न ही शैतान के लिए परमेश्वर द्वारा कोई सीमा निर्धारित की गई थी। परमेश्वर पहले से ही शैतान के धूर्त प्रयासों के विषय सचेत था, इसीलिए आदम और हव्वा को शैतान की धूर्तता से बचाए रखने के लिए, परमेश्वर ने उन्हें एक सीधी, स्पष्ट, छोटी सी आज्ञा दे रखी थी; और साथ ही अनाज्ञाकारिता का दुष्परिणाम भी बता रखा था - “तब यहोवा परमेश्वर ने आदम को यह आज्ञा दी, कि तू वाटिका के सब वृक्षों का फल बिना खटके खा सकता है: पर भले या बुरे के ज्ञान का जो वृक्ष है, उसका फल तू कभी न खाना: क्योंकि जिस दिन तू उसका फल खाए उसी दिन अवश्य मर जाएगा” (उत्पत्ति 2:16-17)। किन्तु शैतान ने उन्हें अपनी चिकनी चुपड़ी बातों में, कुटिलता में फँसा कर, अनाज्ञाकारिता के लिए उकसाया, और पाप में गिरा दिया। और तब ही से पाप करने की प्रवृत्ति ने मनुष्य में प्रवेश कर लिया, और सभी में फैल गई “इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया” (रोमियों 5:12)।
जैसा हम पिछले लेखों में देख चुके हैं कि शैतान और उसके दूत मनुष्य से हर प्रकार से सामर्थी हैं, वरन मनुष्य से अधिक बुद्धिमान भी हैं। वे अपनी इस बुद्धिमत्ता तथा योग्यताओं का प्रयोग मनुष्यों के विरुद्ध दुष्टता की कुटिल युक्तियों के द्वारा मनुष्यों को मूर्ख बनाकर, उन्हें बहका और भरमा कर पापमय व्यवहार और जीवन में जीने, और उन्हें पाप में गिराने के लिए करते हैं (2 पतरस 2:1-3)। साथ ही वे सत्य को मनुष्य से छिपाए रहते हैं, उसे सत्य के निकट आने ही नहीं देते हैं, प्रभु यीशु में लाए गए सीधे और सच्चे विश्वास से हर किसी को मिलने वाले उद्धार सत्य को जानने और समझने ही नहीं देते हैं। इसलिए, आदम और हव्वा में होकर मानव-जाति के विरुद्ध किया गया शैतान का यह कार्य, कुटिलता तथा सच्चाई को छुपा कर झूठ या अज्ञानता के अन्तर्गत करवाया गया कार्य था। मनुष्य जो कि शैतान से सामर्थ्य और बुद्धि में कम है, उसे धोखे में फँसा कर, उसकी सामर्थ्य के बाहर की परीक्षा में डालकर उसे पाप में गिराने का कार्य था।
आदम और हव्वा के द्वारा पाप करने के बाद, परमेश्वर ने उन्हें पाप को मान लेने, और उसके लिए क्षमा मांगने का अवसर दिया। किन्तु वे पाप को मानने के स्थान पर एक दूसरे पर और परमेश्वर पर भी दोष लगाते रहे, आदम ने हव्वा को बनाने और देने के लिए परमेश्वर को जिम्मेदार ठहराया (उत्पत्ति 3:12-13); और उन्होंने अवसर को गँवा दिया, दण्ड भुगतने की स्थिति में आ गए। इसीलिए हमारा सच्चा, खरा, ईमानदार, और न्यायी परमेश्वर स्वाभाविक, अपरिवर्तित मनुष्यों द्वारा किए गए पापों को अज्ञानता के समय में किए गए पाप मानकर, उनके लिए दण्ड देने में आनाकानी करता है, सभी मनुष्यों को वैसे ही पश्चाताप का अवसर देता है जैसा उसने आदम और हव्वा को दिया था।
जो लोग पापों से पश्चाताप कर लेने, प्रभु यीशु मसीह को अपना जीवन समर्पित कर देने, उद्धार पा लेने के बाद भी पाप में गिर जाते हैं, उनके लिए परमेश्वर के व्यवहार और समाधान को हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे। अभी के लिए, चाहे आप एक मसीही हों या गैर मसीही, अपने जीवन को गंभीरता से जाँच कर देख लीजिए कि आपने पापों के लिए पश्चाताप करने की प्रभु की इस आज्ञा का पालन किया है कि नहीं? यदि आप अभी भी अपने धर्म, डिनॉमिनेशन, उनके विधि-विधानों और अनुष्ठानों के निर्वाह के आधार पर अपने आप को परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी और उसे स्वीकार्य समझे बैठे हैं, तो आप शैतान द्वारा फैलाए गए धोखे के जाल में फंसे हुए हैं, और आपको आज, अभी, समय रहते इस धोखे से निकलने की आवश्यकता है; विलंब, अविश्वास, या बाद के लिए टालना बहुत भारी नुकसान करवा सकता है।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Man’s Ignorance - 3
In the previous article, to understand why, as given in Acts 17:30, God is willing to ignore the sins committed in times of ignorance, we had seen some Biblical facts: Whether a person is a Christian or a non-Christian, God treats everyone according to His own character and attributes (Exodus 34:6-7; Deuteronomy 32:4). God knows our capabilities very well; He always remembers that man is dust (Psalm 103:14); The death of even a wicked person is not pleasing to God; He wants everyone to be saved (Ezekiel 33:11). It is never in the will of God that man should ever be trapped by evil, and fall into sin. Neither is He ever tempted by evil, nor does He ever tempt anyone with evil (James 1:13). Moreover, it is God's assurance that He will not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability, but will also give us a way out of the temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). That is why God is ready to overlook the times of our ignorance, due to the devious and cunning ploys of Satan and his devices, that are beyond our capabilities to manage, through which Satan leads us into sin; and gives us the opportunity and the way to be saved. We will see some more on this in todays article.
God does test his people, just as he tested Abraham (Genesis 22:1), and Hezekiah (2 Chronicles 32:31). But when one of God’s people is to be tested through Satan, then for that testing Satan can only act with God's permission, and only within the limits set by God, as we see from Job's trials (Job 1:8, 12; 2:3, 6).
But the deception of Adam and Eve by Satan in the Garden of Eden was neither in God's will, nor had God permitted Satan to do so, nor was there any limit set by God about it for Satan. To protect Adam and Eve from Satan's deviousness, which He had already anticipated, He had given Adam and Eve a simple, clear, straightforward command, and had also warned them about the consequences of disobedience - "Then the Lord God commanded Adam, that you may eat the fruit of all the trees of the garden without knocking: but the tree of the knowledge of good or evil, you shall never bear the fruit of it." food: for the day you eat its fruit you will surely die" (Genesis 2:16-17). But Satan tricked them through his smooth talk, and his wickedness, enticed them into disobedience, and made them fall into sin. And from then onwards the desire to sin entered man, and spread to all "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned" (Romans 5:12).
As we have seen in the previous articles, Satan and his angels are stronger and more intelligent than man in everything. They use their devious intelligence and abilities to trick men, to mislead and deceive them, to make them live a sinful life and a behavior abhorrent to God, and to keep them in sin, by devious schemes of wickedness against humans (2 Peter 2:1-3). At the same time, they keep the truth hidden from man, do not allow him to come near to the truth, do not allow him to know and understand the truth about salvation available to everyone through simple and honest faith in the Lord Jesus. Therefore, this act of Satan, committed against mankind through Adam and Eve, was done by concealing the truth and in wickedness. It was an act done under falsehood or deliberate contrived ignorance. Man, who is inferior in power and intelligence than Satan, was trapped through deception, by tempting him beyond his power thereby leading him into sin.
After Adam and Eve sinned, God gave them the opportunity to confess their sin, and ask for forgiveness for it. But instead of admitting their sin, they blamed each other and God as well for it; Adam even blamed God for creating and giving Eve to him (Genesis 3:12-13); and so, they lost the opportunity, and had to face the punishment. That is why our true, upright, honest, and just God refuses to immediately punish the natural, unregenerate men for their sins; rather, considering their sins as acts committed in times of ignorance, He gives all men the opportunity to repent, just as He did with Adam and Eve.
We will see God's behavior and solution towards sin committed by those who have repented of their sins, have committed their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, and yet have fallen into sin, even after being saved. For now, whether you are a Christian or a non-Christian, take a serious look at your life to see if you have obeyed the Lord's command for repentance. If you still consider yourself righteous and acceptable to God on the basis of your religion, denomination, the observance of their statutes and rituals, then you are in the trap of deceit spread by Satan, and you need to get out of this deception today, now, while you have the time and opportunity. Procrastination, unbelief, or postponing for a later time can do great harm.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
