पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा समझना (1)
हम पिछले लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं में बहकाए भटकाए जाते हैं। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरितों, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्वर्गदूत का भेस धारण कर के प्रस्तुत करते हैं। ये गलत लोग और उनकी गलत शिक्षाएं आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं; किन्तु उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डाली हुई होती हैं। इन गलत या भ्रामक शिक्षाओं के मुख्य स्वरूपों के बारे में परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है कि इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं के, गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन स्वरूप होते हैं, “यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता।” अर्थात, इनकी गलत शिक्षाएं मुख्यतः प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार से सम्बन्धित होती हैं; जिन्हें शैतान और उसके लोग प्रभु यीशु के झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं। सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए इन तीनों स्वरूपों के साथ इस पद में एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है। इस पद में लिखा है कि शैतान की युक्तियों के विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य है वह वचन में पहले से ही बता दिया गया है। इसलिए, जो भी वचन में पहले से नहीं कहा गया है, वह शैतान और झूठे शिक्षकों की ओर से लाई गई भ्रष्ट करने वाली शिक्षा है, और उसे बिलकुल भी स्वीकार नहीं करना है।
पिछले लेखों में हमने इन लोगों के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं के बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखना आरंभ किया है। हम देख चुके हैं कि प्रत्येक सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी के नया जन्म या उद्धार पाते ही, तुरंत उसके उद्धार पाने के पल से ही परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संपूर्णता में आकर उसके अंदर निवास करने लगता है, और उसी में बना रहता है, उसे कभी छोड़ कर नहीं जाता है; और इसी को पवित्र आत्मा से भरना भी कहते हैं। वचन स्पष्ट है कि पवित्र आत्मा से भरना कोई दूसरा या अतिरिक्त अनुभव नहीं है, उद्धार के साथ ही सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा का आकर निवास करना ही है। इन गलत शिक्षकों द्वारा इसी बात को एक और रूप में “पवित्र आत्मा का बपतिस्मा” पाने की आवश्यकता के रूप में भी प्रस्तुत किया जाता है। उनकी शिक्षा है कि प्रभावी और उपयोगी मसीही जीवन के लिए “पवित्र आत्मा का बपतिस्मा” पाना अनिवार्य है, तब ही व्यक्ति प्रभु के लिए कार्य कर सकता है। यह भी एक ऐसी गलत शिक्षा है जिसका वचन से कोई समर्थन या आधार नहीं है। आज से हम इसी के विषय परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल से देखना आरम्भ करेंगे।
मसीहियत में बहुत सारी झूठी शिक्षाएं और गलत सिद्धान्त फैलाए जा चुके हैं, और आज भी प्रचार किये और सिखाए जा रहे हैं। ये भ्रामक और झूठी शिक्षाएं उस कड़वे ज़हर के समान हैं जिसे धर्मी होने और धार्मिकता प्रतीत होने वाली मीठी परत से ढाँप कर मसीहियों को खिला दिया जाता है। इनसे मसीहियों की बहुत हानि होती है, ये उन्हें सही और सच्च मार्ग से भटका देती हैं, और उन्हें व्यर्थ और निष्फल धारणाओं एवं कामों में उलझा देती हैं। वास्तविकता यही है कि उद्धार पान क समय पवित्र आत्मा को प्राप्त करना ही पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा प्राप्त करना है।
यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Understanding Baptism With The Holy Spirit (1)
We have been seeing from the previous articles that one of the characteristics of child-like immature Christians is that they are very easily misled into deceptive and false teachings. Satan and his followers disguise themselves as false apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light to present these deceptive, false teachings. These deceivers and their teachings are attractive, appealing, seemingly knowledgeable, and even have an appearance of being reverential and righteous; but there will always be some extra-Biblical teachings cleverly mixed up in them. About these deceptive, false teachings, God the Holy Spirit had it written through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!” that they are mainly about three topics, the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel. To recognize the truth and escape falling for Satan’s deception, along with these three topics, a very important point for proper discernment has also been stated in this verse: the facts and truth about these three have already been given in God’s Word. Therefore, anything that is not already in God’s Word is satanic, is a corruption brought in by the false teachers, and is not to be accepted.
In the preceding articles we had first seen the various false teachings spread about the Lord Jesus, and had then started to look into the false teachings about the Holy Spirit. We have seen that the Holy Spirit is given to every truly Born-Again Christian Believer at the moment of his being saved; God the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him forever in all His fullness, and never leaves him, and this has also been called being filled with the Holy Spirit. We have also seen that the Word of God is very clear that being “filled with the Holy Spirit” is not a “second experience” or something extra, but just the same as the Holy Spirit coming to reside in the Believer on being saved. Another related false teaching, about receiving the Holy Spirit, that these people very emphatically preach and teach is “Baptism of the Holy Spirit.” They preach and teach that for an effective Christian life and ministry, one that is useful for the Lord Jesus, it is necessary to receive the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit.” This too is a false teaching that has no basis or affirmation from the Word of God. From today we will begin considering this from the Word of God.
There are many wrong doctrines and false teachings that have been spread in Christendom, and are still being preached and taught. These deceptive and false teachings are like bitter poison that is being wrapped up with a sugary coating of apparent religiosity and righteousness, and fed to the Christians. It causes a great deal of harm to the Christian Believers, beguiles and misleads them away from the way of truth, and entangles them in false notions and vain, fruitless works. In reality, being baptized with the Holy Spirit is nothing other than receiving the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation.
In the next article we will look at the text of the verses and the phrases actually used in the Bible regarding the Holy Spirit and Baptism, and on the basis of those very verses and phrases understand what God's Word actually says and how the true meaning has been altered.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
