निर्गमन 12:1-14 - प्रभु की मेज़
संबंधित शिक्षाओं का पुनःअवलोकन
पिछले
कुछ दिनों से हम प्रभु भोज के बारे में उसके प्ररूप, फसह,
से सीखते आ रहे हैं। प्रभु यीशु ने फसह मनाते समय ही, फसह की सामग्री के द्वारा ही, प्रभु की मेज़ की
स्थापना की थी। अब तक हम फसह से संबंधित परमेश्वर के निर्देशों का अध्ययन, अपने पहले खण्ड निर्गमन 12:1-14 से करते आए हैं,
और यह देखते आ रहे हैं कि वे प्रभु यीशु मसीह और प्रभु भोज के साथ
किस प्रकार से संबंधित हैं। हमने अभी तक जो सीखा है, आज हम
उसे दोहराएंगे, उसका संक्षिप्त पुनःअवलोकन करेंगे।
फसह
परमेश्वर द्वारा उसके चुने हुए लोगों, इस्राएल के लिए
निर्धारित किया गया था फसह में भाग लेने के द्वारा वे उसके लोग नहीं बनते थे,
और न ही भाग लेने से उन्हें कोई विशेष स्तर या विशेषाधिकार मिल जाता
था। इसी प्रकार से, प्रभु यीशु ने प्रभु भोज उनके लिए
स्थापित किया था जो उसके वास्तविक, समर्पित शिष्य थे,
जिन्होंने यीशु के पीछे चलने के लिए अपने परिवारों और जीविका के
साधनों को छोड़ दिया था, हर समय प्रभु के साथ बने रहते थे,
जहाँ वह जाता थी, वे भी जाते थे। वे प्रभु भोज
में भाग लेने से प्रभु के शिष्य नहीं बनते थे, न ही उन्हें

विशेषाधिकार मिलता था।
क्योंकि
लोग स्वयं परमेश्वर के वचन को पढ़ने के प्रति बेपरवाह हो गए हैं, उन्हें केवल वही सुनने और मानने में रुचि रहती है जो उन्हें पुल्पिट से
सुनाया और बताया जाता है, और उसका पालन भी वे बिना बाइबल से
उसे जाँचे-परखे या उन बातों की पुष्टि करे बिना ही करते हैं, इसलिए शैतान परमेश्वर के निर्देशों को बिगाड़ने, तथा
मसीहियत में अपनी गलत शिक्षाओं और झूठे सिद्धांतों को लाने पाया है। इस स्थिति को
सुधारने का केवल एक ही तरीका है - व्यक्तिगत बाइबल अध्ययन और प्रार्थना में
परमेश्वर के साथ समय बिताना, और सभी बाइबल से बाहर और गलत
बातों को चुनौती देना, उनका खण्डन करना।
प्रभु
यीशु ने प्रभु भोज को स्थापित करते समय किसी भी खमीर, जो कि
पाप का चिह्न है, वाली वस्तु का प्रयोग नहीं किया; उन्होंने दाख-रस का प्रयोग किया, न कि दाखमधु,
अर्थात खमीर के कार्य के द्वारा दाखरस से बनी मय (wine) का, जैसा कि सामान्यतः माना जाता है।
परमेश्वर
ने जब अपने चुने हुए लोगों के लिए फसह को दिया था, तो वह
उनके मिस्र की गुलामी से छुटकारा पाने का दिन था, उनके
जीवनों के एक नई शुरुआत थी। प्रभु यीशु ने अपने मेज़ की स्थापना उनके लिए की थी जो
उसके नया-जन्म पाए हुए समर्पित शिष्य हैं, जिनके जीवन में
प्रभु को पूर्ण समर्पण के द्वारा एक नया आरंभ हुआ है, वे
प्रभु यीशु में एक नई सृष्टि हैं।
इस्राएलियों
को एक परिवार के लिए एक मेमना बलिदान करना था। परमेश्वर की योजना और विधि में केवल
एक मेमना ही एक परिवार के छुटकारे के लिए पर्याप्त से भी अधिक था। प्रभु यीशु में
लाए गए विश्वास के द्वारा, सभी नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही
विश्वासी अब एक परिवार, एक घराना, परमेश्वर
के लिए एक निवास-स्थान हैं, और परमेश्वर का मेमना उन सभी के
उद्धार के लिए, उनके छुटकारे के लिए पर्याप्त से भी अधिक है।
मानवजाति के उद्धार के लिए प्रभु यीशु के अतिरिक्त और किसी भी व्यक्ति, वस्तु, या विधि की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है।
इस्राएलियों
को फसह को शीघ्रता से खाना था, और अल्प-सूचना पर मिस्र से
निकल जाने के लिए अपने आप को तैयार रखना था। नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी को
भी अपने आप इस संसार और संसार की बातों से अलग रखते हुए, हर
समय अपने स्वर्गीय घर जाने के लिए तैयार रहना है।
प्रभु
यीशु में भी वह सभी गुण मिलते हैं जो निर्गमन 12:5 के अनुसार,
बलि के मेमने में होने थे। फसह के पर्व को केवल परमेश्वर द्वारा
निर्धारित की गई विधि से ही मनाया जाना था; इसे किसी मनुष्य
की कल्पना या विचारों पर नहीं छोड़ा गया था। प्रभु भोज में भी परमेश्वर के द्वारा
उसके वचन में दी गई विधि के अनुसार ही भाग लेना है। कोई मनुष्य फसह की विधि को बदल
नहीं सकता था; उसी प्रकार से किसी मनुष्य को बाइबल में दी गई
प्रभु भोज की विधि को बदलने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है।
फसह
में भाग लेने के लिए कुछ दुख उठाने के द्वारा इस्राएलियों को एक कीमत चुकानी थी।
प्रभु के लिए जीने में भी लोगों को एक कीमत चुकानी पड़ती है, अर्थात,
संसार और सांसारिकता से अपने आप को पृथक रखने और प्रभु के प्रति
समर्पित रहने का जीवन जीना पड़ता है।
इस्राएलियों
को बलि किए गए मेमने के लहू को दरवाजों की चौखटों और अलंगों पर लगाना था; केवल बलि किए हुए उस मेमने का लहू, जिसकी पुष्टि
स्वयं परमेश्वर करता, ही उन्हें मृत्यु से बचा सकता था;
और कुछ भी नहीं। केवल वही जो अपने आप को प्रभु यीशु के लहू की
अधीनता में ले आए हैं, जिन्होंने किसी मनुष्य के नहीं किन्तु
परमेश्वर के आँकलन के द्वारा अपने जीवनों को प्रभु को समर्पित कर दिया है, वे न्याय के दिन परमेश्वर के प्रकोप से बचाए जाएंगे। अन्य सभी लोग जो
प्रभु यीशु के लहू को समर्पित होने के स्थान पर किसी भी अन्य बात या व्यक्ति पर
भरोसा रखे हुए हैं, किसी अन्य को मानते हैं, वे सभी नाश हो जाएंगे।
जैसे
इस्राएलियों के सारे परिवार को फसह के मेमने को खाना था, उसी
प्रकार मसीही विश्वासियों के परमेश्वर के परिवार के सभी सदस्यों परमेश्वर के मेमने,
अर्थात उस जीवते वचन को “खाना” है; यानि कि
गंभीरता पूर्वक परमेश्वर के वचन का नियमित अध्ययन करना है, उसे
अपने अन्दर आत्मसात कर लेना है, और उसके अनुसार जीवन व्यतीत
करना है। इस प्रकार से बाइबल का अध्ययन करना प्रभु के प्रति समर्पित और आज्ञाकारी
होने का चिह्न है।
जिस
प्रकार से संपूर्ण बलि किए हुए मेमने को आग की लपटों पर भूना जाना था, और या तो खा लिया जाना था, अन्यथा उसे जला देना था;
अर्थात उसका कोई भी भाग ऐसा नहीं होना था जो आग पर जलने के लिए न
आया हो। प्रभु यीशु ने भी जब समस्त मानव जाति के पाप अपने ऊपर ले लिए और वे पाप बन
गए, अर्थात अन्दर-बाहर, हर ओर से,
उनकी संपूर्ण देह साकार पाप बन गई, तो उनकी
देह के हर भाग को परमेश्वर के दण्ड के प्रकोप की ज्वाला को झेलना था। उस समय में
पिता परमेश्वर ने भी उनसे अपने मुँह को मोड़ लिया था, और
प्रभु अवर्णनीय वेदना से चिल्ला उठा। गतसमनी के बाग में प्रभु इसी वेदना के बारे
में प्रार्थना कर रहा था, न कि उस शारीरिक ताड़ना के बारे में
जिस में से होकर उसे जाना था। वैसी ही शारीरिक ताड़ना तो क्रूस का मृत्यु-दण्ड पाए
हुए प्रत्येक अपराधी को झेलनी होती थी, अनेकों ने सहन की थी,
उसके साथ जो दो डाकू लटकाए गए थे, उन्होने भी
सही होगी; इसलिए वह शारीरिक यातना केवल प्रभु के लिए कुछ अलग
नहीं थी।
परमेश्वर
द्वारा दिए गए तरीके से प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने से एक शान्ति का, आश्वासन का कि परमेश्वर हमारे साथ है, और हर
परिस्थिति में हर समय उसकी सुरक्षा साथ बने रहने का एहसास होता है। परमेश्वर के
नया-जन्म पाए हुए बच्चों के लिए यह अनन्तकालीन आशीषों का आश्वासन है। किन्तु यह
अनुभव मनुष्यों द्वारा बनाई गई विधि से औपचारिकता पूरी करने के लिए प्रभु भोज में
भाग लेने के द्वारा नहीं मिलता है।
ये
सभी बातें स्पष्ट दिखाती हैं कि प्रभु भोज में भाग लेना उनके लिए नहीं है जो इसे
एक धार्मिक रीति या औपचारिकता के समान लेते हैं, किन्तु उनके
लिए है जिन्होंने स्वेच्छा से प्रभु के योग्य जीवन बिताने उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में
चलने का निर्णय लिया है, और इसके लिए कीमत चुकाने के लिए भी
तैयार है। अगले लेख में हम निर्गमन 12 में से यहीं से आगे,
भाग दो “निर्गमन 12:15-20 फसह के भोज से
संबंधित नियम” देखना आरंभ करेंगे। यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया
अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं कि नहीं?
क्या आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को
समर्पित किया है कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु में एक नई
सृष्टि बन गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप कलीसिया में विभाजनों और
गुटों में बांटने में नहीं किन्तु एकता के साथ रहने में प्रयासरत रहते हैं कि नहीं?
तथा क्या आप प्रभु की मेज़ में उसी प्रकार से भाग ले रहे हैं जैसे
परमेश्वर ने निर्देश दिये हैं, प्रभु के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण
और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ, बड़ी गंभीरता से मेज़ के महत्व पर मनन
करते हुए; या फिर आप किसी डिनॉमिनेशन की परंपरा अथवा किसी
के मनमाने विचारों के अनुसार भाग ले रहे
हैं? अपने आप को जांच कर देखें कि क्या आप प्रभु के सामने
खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देने के लिए तैयार हैं कि नहीं? आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने
के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा निरंतर परिपक्वता
में बढ़ते जाएं। साथ ही सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों
को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार
करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों
5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और
भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)
अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे
और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।
यदि
आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो
अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में
अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके
वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और
सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया
है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है,
तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने
पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से
अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही
एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी
प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित
करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और
समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे
स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और
आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें।
मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने
की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन
इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक
प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक
के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।
क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं
करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Exodus 12:1-14 - A
Review of the Lessons About The Lord’s Table
For the past
some time, we have been studying about the Holy Communion through its
antecedent, the Passover. It was while celebrating the Passover that the Lord
Jesus instituted the Lord’s Table, using the elements of the Passover feast. So
far, we have studied God’s instructions related to the Passover, and seen how
they relate to the Holy Communion and the Lord Jesus, through the first section
of this chapter, i.e., Exodus 12:1-14. Today we will go through a summary of
what we have learnt so far.
The Passover
was ordained by God for His chosen people, Israel; participating in the
Passover did not make them His chosen people or confer any special status or
privilege upon them. Similarly, the Holy Communion was instituted by the Lord
Jesus for those who already were His committed disciples, having left their
families and means of earning a living, they constantly accompanied Him,
wherever He went. Participating in the Communion neither made them disciples of
Christ, nor qualified them for going to heaven, or confer any other special
privilege upon them.
Since people
have become disinterested in studying God’s Word for themselves, and prefer to
accept and follow whatever is taught to them from the pulpit, without first
cross-checking and verifying it from the Bible, therefore Satan has been able
to corrupt God’s instructions and bring in his wrong teachings and false
doctrines. The only way to rectify the matter is to start studying the Bible,
spending time with God in prayer, and start challenging and refuting all
unBiblical things.
The Lord Jesus,
in establishing the Holy Communion did not use anything with leaven - a symbol
of sin; He used grape-juice, not its fermented product “wine”, as is commonly
believed.
God gave the
Passover to His chosen people, it was the day of their being delivered from the
bondage of Egypt, a new beginning in their lives. The Lord Jesus established
His Table for those to participate in it, who were Born-Again, who have made a
new beginning in life by fully surrendering themselves to the Lord Jesus, as
their savior and Lord, are a new creation in the Lord Jesus.
The Israelites
were to sacrifice one lamb per family; in God’s plans, one lamb, and it alone,
was more than sufficient for a family for a family to be delivered from
bondage. By faith in the Lord Jesus, all the Born-Again Christian Believers are
one family, one dwelling place or household for God, and the Lord Jesus, the
sacrificial Lamb of God for the sins of mankind, is more than sufficient to
save everyone. Nothing else and no one other than the Lord Jesus are required
for salvation of mankind.
The Israelites
had to eat the Passover in a hurry, and be ready to leave at a short notice.
The Born-Again Christian Believer should not be involved in the affairs of the
world, and be ready at all times to leave for his heavenly home.
The Lord Jesus
fulfilled all the characteristics given for the sacrificial lamb in Exodus
12:5. The Passover was to be observed in the God ordained manner; it was not
left to anyone’s imagination or preferences. The Holy Communion has to be
participated in, in the manner given by God in His Word. No man could modify or
alter the Passover; no man can modify or alter the Holy Communion given in the
Bible. Participating unworthily invites God’s judgment, not blessings.
Participating
in the Passover required the Israelites to pay a price, by going through some
painful experiences. Living for the Lord requires a person to pay a price,
i.e., to live separated from the world and worldliness, committed to the Lord.
The blood of
the sacrificed lamb was to be applied to the door-posts and lintels of the
houses of Israelites; it was only the presence of this blood of the sacrificed
lamb, verified by God, and nothing else, that would save from death. Only those
who have brought themselves under the blood of the Lord Jesus, have surrendered
their lives to Him by God’s assessment not mans, will be saved on God’s
judgment day; everybody else, relying or trusting on anything else, instead of
surrendering to the blood of the Lord Jesus, will perish.
Like the
Israelites, the whole family, had to eat the Passover lamb; God’s family of
Christian Believers family are to “eat” the Lamb of God, i.e., the Living Word;
implying regularly and seriously studying, imbibing and assimilating within
them God’s Word, and living by the Word of God. This Bible study is a sign of
being committed and obedient to the Lord.
Like the whole
sacrificed lamb had to be put on the fire and roasted, and then either eaten or
burnt, no part left remaining, i.e., no part that would not be burnt in the
fire; the Lord Jesus in taking the sins of mankind became sin, i.e., sin
personified, inside-out, all over, and all of Him had to suffer the wrath of
God for sin. At that time when He became sin, even God the Father turned away
from Him, and the Lord cried out in the indescribable spiritual agony. It was
this spiritual agony that the Lord was praying about in the Garden of
Gethsemane, and not the physical tortures He would have to go through; those
tortures were also suffered by all the criminals who were crucified, so that
torture was nothing unique for the Lord Jesus to suffer.
The proper
participation in the Lord’s Table, as ordained by God, gives a sense of peace
and an assurance of God being with them, of His safety for them in all
circumstances, at all times. It is an assurance of the eternal blessings of God
for God’s Born-Again children. These are things not felt through the
ritualistic, perfunctory participation through man-made methods.
All these
things show that participating in the Holy Communion is not for those who take
it as a religious ritual or formality to be carried out perfunctorily, but is
for those who willingly have chosen to live worthy of the Lord, in obedience to
His Word, and are willing to pay the price for doing so. From the next article
we will start considering our second section “Exodus 12:15-20 The Ordinance of
the Passover meal.” If you are a Christian Believer, and have been
participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure
that you are actually redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered
your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word, are a new
creation for the Lord. That you strive for unity, not divisions and
factionalism in the Church, and have been participating as the Lord has
instructed to be done, participating with full allegiance to the Lord, in all
seriousness, and pondering over its significance; instead of doing it in any
presumptive manner, or simply as a denominational ritual; and are ready and
prepared to stand before the Lord and answer for your life. It is also
necessary for you to be spiritually mature, learn the right teachings of God’s
Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers first check and test
all teachings you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the
truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept
and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the
false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians
11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you
ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and
your rewards.
If you have not
yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its
favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's
security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where
His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not
obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your
sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord
Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves
into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you
have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with
heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do
this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have
knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds,
committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by
your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all
eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and
make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and
wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision.
One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and
future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you
heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time
and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
