पिछले लेख में हमने 1 कुरिन्थियों 11:18-19 से प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने से संबंधित गलतियों के पहले समूह को देखा था। कलीसिया में समस्याओं की जड़ गुट-बाज़ी और विभाजन थे, जो इसलिए उत्पन्न हो गए थे क्योंकि लोग प्रभु यीशु की ओर देखने की बजाए, अपने मन-पसंद शिक्षकों और अगुवों की ओर देखने लग गए थे। उनमें से जो व्यक्तिगत महत्वाकांक्षाएँ रखते थे और ओहदा चाहते थे, उन्होंने विश्वासियों के मध्य इस विनाशकारी प्रवृत्ति को बढ़ावा दिया। कुल मिलाकर परिणाम यह हुआ कि मसीही विश्वासियों में आत्मिक अपरिपक्वता, बालकों के समान व्यवहार, शारीरिक प्रवृत्तियाँ और बर्ताव, डाह और झगड़े उत्पन्न हो गए, जिन से कलीसिया में विभाजन आ गए।

इसके बाद पौलुस 1 कुरिन्थियों 11:20-22 में प्रभु भोज से संबंधित गलतियों के दूसरे समूह को दिखाता है जो उनमें घुस आया था। हम इन पदों से उन गलतियाँ को देख सकते हैं जो कि कलीसिया में आ गई थीं:

* प्रभु द्वारा स्थापना के समय उस पहले प्रभु भोज के समय, शिष्यों को एक रोटी और एक प्याले में से भाग लेना था, इसलिए प्रत्येक ने रोटी का छोटा टुकड़ा, और प्याले में से एक घूंट भर ही लिया होगा। इस प्रकार, रोटी और प्याले में संकेतात्मक रीति से भाग लेने के स्थान पर, यहाँ उन विश्वासियों ने प्रभु भोज को पूरा भोजन बना लिया था। हम पौलुस द्वारा पद 20 के अंत और पद 21 के मध्य में प्रयोग किए गए शब्दों से इसके बारे में  उसके द्वारा दिए गए ताने, उसके व्यंग्य को देख सकते हैं “...यह प्रभु भोज खाने के लिये नहीं” “...अपना भोज खा लेता है...” उन्होंने प्रभु भोज को अपने व्यक्तिगत भोज में बदल दिया था। और अब वे प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में, उसे आदर देने के लिए नहीं, किन्तु अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार करने के लिए एकत्रित हो रहे थे, किसी की भी परवाह किए बिना।

* वे एक साथ नहीं, अलग-अलग खा रहे थे। प्रभु ने सभी शिष्यों को एक साथ एक ही रोटी और एक ही प्याले में से भाग लेने के लिए कहा था। किन्तु यहाँ तो विश्वासी पूरा भोजन करने लग गए थे, व्यक्तिगत रीति से “एक दूसरे से पहिले”। उनके मध्य एक ही प्रभु पर किए गए एक ही विश्वास की एकता का चिह्न भंग हो गया था। उसके स्थान पर अपने आप को एक-दूसरे से बढ़कर दिखाने की भावना आ गई थी, जिससे उनके मध्य केवल विभाजन और गुट ही बन सकते थे।

* उन्होंने प्याले के दाख रस को मदिरा, दाख रस पर खमीर की क्रिया से प्राप्त होने वाली वस्तु, से बदल लिया था। और उस मदिरा में से भी, जिसे कदापि वहाँ होना ही नहीं चाहिए था, एक घूंट लेने के स्थान पर, उसे इतना पी रहे थे कि मतवाले हो जाते थे - कलीसिया में। और वे यह उस समय कर रहे थे जब वे कहने को, उनके लिए दिए गए प्रभु के बलिदान को याद करने के लिए एकत्रित होते थे, अर्थात उसकी तोड़ी गई देह और बहाए गए लहू को, जिससे कि उन्हें उद्धार मिल सका, आदर देने के लिए।

* न केवल वे प्रभु द्वारा दी गई प्रभु भोज की विधि का उल्लंघन कर रहे थे, वरन उनमें अपने साथी सह-विश्वासियों के प्रति कोई परवाह भी नहीं थी। वे प्रभु भोज के नाम में भोजन खाने को “जिन के पास नहीं है उन्हें लज्जित” (पद 22) करने के लिए प्रयोग कर रहे थे। बजाए साथी विश्वासियों के प्रति विश्वासी भाईचारे और प्रेम को दिखाने के, उन्हें जिनके पास कोई भोजन नहीं था अपने साथ भोजन में भाग लेने के लिए आमंत्रित करने की बजाए, वे उनका ठट्टा कर रहे थे, उन्हें भूखे छोड़ दे रहे थे (पद 21), जबकि स्वयं प्रभु भोज के नाम में अपना भोजन उनके सामने खा रहे थे। उनके मध्य की इस गुट-बाज़ी ने उन्हें गहराई से विभाजित कर दिया था, और विभाजन की एक रेखा थी उनके परस्पर आर्थिक और सामाजिक स्तर - जिनके अनुसार वे पृथक हो गए थे, बजाए पापों से बचाए गए और उद्धार पाए हुए परमेश्वर की संतानों के समान एक-जुट रहने के।

अगले लेख में हम इन गलतियों से सम्बन्धित बाइबल के कुछ तथ्यों को देखेंगे, और उस आधार पर इन्हें समझेंगे।

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

The Lord’s Table - Compromise leads to Disaster (1)

 

       In the previous article we had seen the first set of errors related to partaking in the Holy Communion from 1 Corinthians 11:18-19. The root problem of the Church was factionalism and divisions that had come in because of people looking up to their favorite teachers and elders of the Church instead of the Lord Jesus. Those amongst them desirous of personal approval and recognition from men, encouraged and developed this disastrous tendency amongst the Believers. The net result of it all was spiritual immaturity, childish behavior, being carnal, having strife and contentions amongst the Believers, leading to divisions in the Church.

       Paul then, in 1 Corinthians 11:20-22, points out the second set of errors that had crept in among them related to the Lord’s Table. We can see from these verses that the following errors had crept into the Church:

* At the time of the establishment of the Holy Communion, during the communion participation, the disciples had to share the one bread and one cup, therefore, everyone would have taken a small part of the bread and a sip from the cup. But here, instead of partaking of the Bread and Cup symbolically, these Believers had started to treat it as a full meal. We can see the sarcasm that Paul uses here at the end of verse 20 and beginning of verse 21 - “...it is not to eat the Lord's Supper. For in eating, each one takes his own supper...” They had changed “The Lord’s Supper” into their “own supper”; and they were now gathering not with the intention of honoring the Lord by being obedient to Him, but for each one to do what pleased them, without caring at all for the others.

* They were eating it separately, not together. The Lord had asked all the disciples to together share the same bread and cup, at the same time. But here, the Believers had started to eat a meal, individually, “ahead of others.” The indicator of unity, of their being together as one unit in faith in the Lord had been broken; it had been replaced by a show of ‘one-upmanship’, which could only serve to divide and segregate them further.

* They had replaced the contents of the cup with wine, the fermented product from grape-juice. And instead of taking a sip from that wine, which should not have been there, in the first place, they were drinking it to the extent of getting drunk - in the Church. Doing this at the time they had supposedly gathered to honor the Lord by remembering His sacrifice for them, i.e., remember His body broken for them and His blood shed for them, so that they could be delivered from their sins.

* Not only were they flouting the Lord’s instituted manner of the Holy Communion, but also had no concern for their fellow Believers, their brethren in the Lord. They were using their participation in the Holy Communion to “shame those who have nothing” (verse 22). Instead of exhibiting brotherly love and concern for fellow Believers, and inviting those who did not have any food to share and join with them, they were mocking them, letting them go hungry (verse 21), while they ate their food in the name of the Holy Communion of the Lord. The factionalism in them had deeply divided them, and one of the lines of divisions was the line between the rich and the poor - they were segregating themselves according to their socio-economic status, instead of showing unity as the saved children of God.

In the next article we will see some Biblical facts related to the above, to understand these errors.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि प्रेरित पौलुस ने पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा कुरिन्थुस की कलीसिया को उनमें एकता के न होने के बारे में कहा, और बताया कि इसका कारण उन सभी के प्रभु यीशु का अनुसरण करने की बजाए अपनी-अपनी पसन्द के अगुवों का अनुसरण करना था, और इससे उनमें आत्मिक अपरिपक्वता आ गई थी। इस आत्मिक अपरिपक्वता के कारण वे परमेश्वर तथा मसीही विश्वास की गूढ़ बातों को ग्रहण करने और सीखने के लिए अक्षम थे, बल्कि परस्पर डाह और द्वेष में जी रहे थे। इसे और भी बिगाड़ने वाली बात थी कुछ लोगों के द्वारा इन बातों को बढ़ावा देना, जिससे कि गुटों में विभाजित कलीसिया पर वे नियंत्रण रख सकें और अधिकार जमा सकें। आज हम इन बातों के हमारे लिए व्यवहारिक उपयोग के बारे में देखेंगे।

आज भी यही समस्या कलीसियाओं में और मसीही विश्वासियों की मण्डलियों में भी इसी प्रकार से बनी हुई है - कुछ लोग औरों पर प्रभाव रखना और नियंत्रण करना चाहते हैं, जबकि सामान्यतः अन्य लोगों की प्रवृत्ति होती है कि वे कुछ अगुवों या लोगों की ओर देखें; न कि सभी को सामर्थ्य देने और उन के मध्य में उन अगुवों और शिक्षकों को प्रयोग करने वाले प्रभु परमेश्वर की ओर। इसलिए कुल मिलाकर स्थिति यही हो जाती है, कलीसिया भी हानि उठाती है, तथा व्यक्तिगत सदस्य भी हानि उठाते हैं। न तो कलीसिया की आत्मिक बढ़ोतरी और उन्नति होती है, और न ही व्यक्तिगत रीति से सदस्यों की। इसीलिए, लोगों द्वारा केवल कुछ समय के नाशमान आदर और ओहदे को पाने के लिए, सभी को अपनी अनन्तकालीन आशीषों की हानि उठानी पड़ती है; और शैतान को उनके मध्य सहज और आराम का समय बिताने को मिल जाता है। जबकि प्रभु की इच्छा उन्हें इससे भी कही अधिक बढ़ाकर महिमा और अनन्तकालीन आशीष देने की थी।

प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने से पहले, हम सभी के लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि हम यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि हम प्रभु यीशु मसीह की कलीसिया में गुट-बाज़ी को उत्पन्न करने, या बढ़ावा देने, या किसी भी प्रकार से उसे बनाए रखने में सहयोग देने वाले तो नहीं हैं। इसके स्थान पर, जहाँ कहीं भी हमें यह प्रवृत्ति दिखाई दे, किसी के द्वारा गुट-बाजी को आरंभ करना या उसे उकसाना और बढ़ावा देना, या बनाए रखना, या लोगों में आपस में मतभेदों का उत्पन्न होना और विभाजन आने लग जाना; तो किसी भी अगुवे अथवा शिक्षक का, उसके प्रति आदर रखने के कारण, समर्थन करने के स्थान पर, हमें परिस्थिति पर मनन करना चाहिए, और निष्पक्ष तथा खरे और स्पष्टवादी होकर समस्या और उससे संबंधित अगुवे और शिक्षक का सीधे से सामना करना चाहिए, जैसे पौलुस ने किया, और इस प्रकार से प्रभु यीशु द्वारा कही गई बात, “धन्य हैं वे, जो मेल करवाने वाले हैं, क्योंकि वे परमेश्वर के पुत्र कहलाएंगे” (मत्ती 5:9) को पूरा करना चाहिए। हमारे लिए यह कहीं अधिक उत्तम होगा कि हम परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करने वाले बनकर, उसके पुत्र बनकर आशीष पाएं, न कि मनुष्यों को प्रसन्न करने वाले बनकर उन आशीषों को गँवा दें जो परमेश्वर हमें देना चाहता है।

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं तथा आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है। आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 कुरिन्थियों 14:29; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा न केवल आप परमेश्वर के वचन की अनाज्ञाकारिता करने के दोषी ठहरेंगे और उसके परिणामों को भुगतेंगे, वरन् शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

In the previous article we had seen that the Apostle Paul, through the Holy Spirit, pointed out to the members of the Church in Corinth their lack of unity, which was because of their following their favorite elders, instead of everyone following the Lord, was creating spiritual immaturity in them. Because of this spiritual immaturity, they had become incapable of receiving and learning the deeper things of God and Christian Faith; and were living in mutual strife and jealousy. To make matters worse, some amongst them were promoting this unfortunate state of affairs, to be able to control and assert authority over the people in factions. Today we will look at the practical application of this for us.

The same problem plagues the Church, the assemblies and gatherings of the Christian Believers even today, and in much the same manner - some people like to hold influence and control others, while people in general have the tendency of looking more towards certain people or their elders, than Christ Jesus; of emulating their favorite teachers and preachers, than look to the Lord who empowers and uses those teachers and preachers amongst them. The net result is that the Church suffers, and the individual members suffer as well; neither the Church nor the individual members grow and mature spiritually. Therefore, for the sake of a short time of temporal glory enjoyed by some, everybody loses out in their eternal blessings; and Satan has an easy and comfortable time amongst them. Whereas the Lord was wanting to give them a far greater eternal glory.

 

Before participating in the Lord’s Table, it is essential for each one of us to make sure that we are not the ones who are creating, or promoting, or in some manner even sustaining factionalism in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rather, wherever we see this tendency of creating or nurturing groupism, or any tendency of people developing and maintaining factionalism or mutual disharmony, instead of siding with one or the other in deference to that person or elder or teacher, we should ponder over, be forthright and confront the problem as well as the problem makers directly as Paul did, and fulfil what the Lord Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9) - it is far better to be seen as a “God-pleaser” and be blessed as a son of God, than to be seen as a man-pleaser and lose out on the blessings God wants to give us.

If you are a Christian Believer and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually a disciple of the Lord, i.e., are redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers, first check and test all teachings that you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Corinthians 14:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, then not only will you be guilty of disobeying the instructions of God and suffer the consequences, but also, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

पिछले लेख में हमने 1 कुरिन्थियों 11:17 से देखा था कि पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में पौलुस ने कलीसिया में घुस आई गलतियों को दिखाना और उनका सामना करना आरंभ किया। हमने देखा था कि पौलुस प्रभु और उसके वचन के प्रति, सही सिद्धांतों के पालन और शिक्षा में, न केवल खरा और स्पष्टवादी था, वरन सुधारने के समय उसने पिता के समान प्रेम और चिंता भी दिखाई, उन्हें साफ बताया कि उनकी गलतियों के कारण उन्हें बहुत हानि उठानी पड़ रही है; अर्थात, उसका उन्हें ठीक करने का प्रयास उन पर अपने अधिकार को जताने के लिए नहीं परंतु उन्हें हानि में से खींच कर निकाल लेने के लिए है, जिसमें वे जा चुके थे।

पद 18 से आगे पौलुस उन्हें उनकी गलतियाँ दिखाना आरंभ करता है। पहली गलती जो वह उन्हें दिखाता और जिसका सामना वह करता है वह है उनमें एक-मनता का न होना। वास्तव में, यह इस पत्री के लिखने में उसके द्वारा उन्हें बताई गई उनकी पहली गलती भी थी (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:10-13)। इस पत्री के आरंभ में, पौलुस 1 कुरिन्थियों 1:10 में उनसे विनती करता है कि वे एक मन होकर साथ बने रहें। अर्थात, मसीही विश्वासी होने के नाते, जिस बात की सबसे पहले उनसे अपेक्षा रखी जाती है, वह है अपने विश्वास में एक देह होकर कलीसिया के रूप में प्रभु भोज में सम्मिलित होने के लिए एकत्रित हों। पौलुस उन्हें पहले ही बता चुका था कि उनमें एक-मनता का न होना, उनमें परस्पर डाह और झगड़े होने, उनकी आत्मिक अपरिपक्वता, शारीरिक होने, और संसार के लोगों के समान व्यवहार रखने का चिह्न है (1 कुरिन्थियों 3:1-6)।

इससे अगले पद, पद 19 में, पौलुस उनसे उनमें एक-मनता के न पाए जाने के कारण को बताता है, जो एक बार फिर से उसी बात को दोहराना है जिसे वह 1 कुरिन्थियों 1:12-13 और 3:4 में उनसे कह चुका था। उनके मध्य पाए जाने वाली गुट-बाज़ी ही उनमें एक-मनता न होने की जड़ थी। उनके मध्य में यह गुट-बाज़ी इसलिए आने पाई थी क्योंकि ऊपर प्रभु यीशु की ओर देखते रहने और केवल उसी का अनुसरण करते रहने के स्थान पर, उन्होंने अपने आस-पास देखना और व्यक्तिगत रीति से अपने मन-पसंद अगुवे और शिक्षक की ओर देखना, उसका अनुसरण करना आरंभ कर दिया था, और फिर उन अगुवों और शिक्षकों के नाम में आपस में विभाजित होने लग गए थे। जैसा पौलुस इस पद 19 में कहता है, उनकी इस प्रवृत्ति को उनके मध्य के कुछ लोगों ने और बढ़ावा दिया, उसे और उकसाया, क्योंकि यह करने वाले लोग कलीसिया में स्थान और आदर पाना चाहते थे। और उन लोगों के अहं तब ही संतुष्ट हो सकते थे जब वे कलीसिया को भिन्न गुटों में विभाजित करके लोगों पर प्रभाव रख सकें और अपना नियंत्रण ला सकें। लेकिन उन्होंने इस बात का ध्यान नहीं किया कि उनके ऐसा करने के द्वारा एक इकाई के रूप में कलीसिया का, तथा व्यक्तिगत रीति से इस गुट-बाज़ी में फंस जाने वाले लोगों का, कितना नुकसान हो रहा है; क्योंकि इसी के कारण उनकी बढ़ोतरी और उन्नति रुक गई, वे परिपक्व नहीं होने पाए, आत्मिकता और आत्मिक जीवन बाधित हो गया, आशीषों पर रोक लग गई।

अगले लेख में हम हमारे लिए आज इन बातों के महत्व और व्यवहारिक उपयोगिता के बारे में देखेंगे।

The Lord’s Table - Examine & Maintain Unity (1)

 

In the previous article, from 1 Corinthians 11:17, we have seen that Paul through the Holy Spirit, starts exposing and addressing the errors which had crept into the Church.  We saw that not only was Paul forthright about his doctrinal stand for the Lord and teaching His Word, but in correcting, he also shows a fatherly love and concern, tells them that their errors are causing harm to them; i.e., his correcting them is not to assert his authority over them, but to pull them out of harm’s way into which they had gone.

From verse 18 onwards Paul starts pointing out their errors to them. Their first error that he points out and confronts them about is their lack of unity. In fact, this was also their first error that he had pointed out to them right in the beginning of this letter (1 Corinthians 1:10-13). At the beginning of this letter, in 1 Corinthians 1:10, Paul pleads for unity amongst them. In other words, the first thing expected from them as Christian Believers is that when they gather together as the Church of the Lord Jesus and for partaking of the Holy Communion, they should be as one body in faith. Paul had already pointed out to them that their lack of unity, their having quarrels and contentions, is a sign of their being spiritually immature, carnal, and behaving like mere men (1 Corinthians 3:1-6).

As Paul has pointed out to the Corinthian Believers in 1 Corinthians 3:1-6, their lack of unity, was the cause of their not growing in their faith, they were still “babes in Christ”; therefore, Paul could not speak to them as spiritual people. Because they were spiritually immature, still “babes”, therefore, all he could teach them were the fundamental, very basic things about the Lord, the Christian Faith, and Christian living, since they were in no position to receive or grasp anything over and above that. Their life of strife and divisions as a Church was evidence of their being “carnal”, i.e., as yet, more under the control of their fleshly desires, as the people of the world naturally are, than being desirous of spiritual living. A little above, he had pointed out to them the very serious and harmful consequences of such tendency “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14). The implication is evident, if they were to grow in Faith, in God’s Word, and in the Lord, it could only be after getting out of their carnality, of which their strife and contentions were a consequence and evidence.

In the next verse, i.e., verse 19, Paul speaks to them about the cause for their lack of unity, which is again a repetition of what he had already said to them in 1 Corinthians 1:12-13, and 3:4. The factionalism amongst them was the root cause for their lack of unity. This factionalism amongst them had come in because instead of all of them looking up to the Lord Jesus and following Him and Him alone, they had all started to individually follow their favorite elders and teachers, and broken up into factions in the name of those elders and teachers. This tendency, as Paul says in the second half of verse 19, was stoked up and further nurtured by certain members amongst them who wanted to have approval and recognition in the Church. And, such people could have their egos satisfied only by breaking up the Church into groups and factions which would be under their sway and control. But what they did not realize was the harm this was causing to not only the Church as a unit, but also to the individual members who were caught up in this factionalism and living by it; for because of this they were losing out on their growth, maturity, spirituality, and blessings.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि यद्यपि पौलुस कुरिन्थुस की मण्डली से बहुत प्रेम करता था, और उन्हें अपनी आत्मिक सन्तान समझकर उनकी देखभाल करता था; परन्तु इसके कारण वह उनके प्रति अपनी आत्मिक ज़िम्मेदारी के निर्वाह से नहीं चूका। पौलुस ने परमेश्वर के वचन के आधार पर उन्हें उनकी गलतियों को दिखाने और सुधारने को प्राथमिकता दी; और उसने यह बहुत खराई और स्पष्टवादिता से किया, चाहे उन्हें अच्छा लगे अथवा नहीं। उनके के प्रति पौलुस की जवाबदेही, के कारण पौलुस ने उन्हें हानि से बचाए रखने के लिए जो भी आवश्यक था, वह किया; तथा परमेश्वर के प्रति उसकी जवाबदेही के कारण उसने परमेश्वर तथा उसके वचन की आज्ञाकारिता को जीवन की प्राथमिकता बनाए रखा। आज हम इस खण्ड को और आगे देखते हुए, इससे मिलने वाली और शिक्षा को देखेंगे।

इसी पद में एक तीसरी और बहुत महत्वपूर्ण शिक्षा भी निहित है, और एक बार फिर, विशेषकर कलीसिया के अगुवों, वचन के प्रचारकों और शिक्षकों के लिए - पौलुस ने यह बिल्कुल भी नहीं दिखाया है कि वह जो भी कर रहा था, या, उनसे जो भी करने को कह रहा था, या उनसे जो भी करने के लिए कहेगा, उसके बारे में कोई स्पष्टीकरण देना उसके स्तर, उसकी हैसियत को किसी भी प्रकार से कम करने वाली बात है। उसकी यह सोच नहीं थी कि क्योंकि कुरिन्थुस के मसीही विश्वासी उसे जानते थे और उन्हें उनके मध्य किए गए उसके परिश्रम के बारे में पता था, उन्होंने उस से परमेश्वर के वचन की शिक्षा पाई थी, इसलिए अब उसे कोई आवश्यकता नहीं थी कि वह अपने काम और कही गई बात के बारे में उन्हें कोई कारण बताए या किसी प्रकार का कोई स्पष्टीकरण दे। न ही वह यह समझता था कि उन्हें उससे कोई प्रश्न नहीं करने चाहिए, बल्कि नतमस्तक होकर बस उसकी कही बात को मान लेना और कर देना चाहिए।

ऐसा दृष्टिकोण रखने की बजाए, वह किसी भी मतभेद अथवा गलतफहमी के उत्पन्न होने की संभावना को पहले ही समाप्त कर देता है, और उनसे इससे आगे कुछ भी कहने से पहले, वह स्वयं ही उन्हें अपनी बात और काम के कारण को बता देता है - उन्हें हानि से बचाकर निकालने के लिए वह यह कर रहा था। आज, कितनी ही बार व्यक्तिगत अहं के कारण कलीसिया के लोगों के मध्य समस्याएँ उत्पन्न हो जाती हैं; और लोगों पर “अनाज्ञाकारी होने”, तथा “आदर नहीं करने वाले” होने के आरोप लगाए जाते हैं, विशेषकर उनके द्वारा जो कलीसिया में किसी अधिकार के पद अथवा ओहदे पर हैं, और इससे कलीसिया में समस्याएँ कम होने के स्थान पर, और अधिक बढ़ जाती हैं। हमें पौलुस द्वारा इस अध्याय के पहले पद में कही गई बात को समझने और पालन करने की आवश्यकता है। यद्यपि यह कलीसिया के अगुवों की ज़िम्मेदारी है कि वे सदस्यों में देखी जाने वाली गलतियों को बताएं और उन्हें सुधारें, किन्तु यह केवल परमेश्वर के वचन में सिखाए गए तरीके से ही किया जाना चाहिए; किसी अन्य तरीके से करने से समस्याएँ कम होने के स्थान पर और बढ़ जाएँगी।

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं तथा आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है। आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

The Lord’s Table - Correct People Only for Edification (2)

In the previous article we had seen that though Paul loved the Corinthian Church, and cared for them as his spiritual children; but that did not stop him from fulfilling his spiritual responsibilities towards them. Paul made it his priority to point out and correct their errors on the basis of God’s Word, in a forthright and straightforward manner, whether or not they liked it. Paul’s accountability to them made him do whatever was necessary to keep them from harm; and to God made him serve God faithfully, giving obedience to God and His Word the first priority in his life. Today we will consider this passage, and derive further lessons from it.

There is a third very important teaching inherent in this verse, and again, especially for elders, preachers, and teachers in the Lord’s Church - Paul did not in any manner show that it was below his status or dignity to explain what he was doing, or asking them to do, or would be asking them to do. He did not feel that as the Corinthian Believers knew who he was and how he had labored among them, taught them the Word of God, therefore, there was no need for him to offer any reason for what he was doing, or offer any explanations to them. Nor did he indicate that they should feel obligated to listen to him and obey him without asking any questions.

Instead, he pre-empted reasons for any discord or misunderstandings, and before saying anything more, he told them his reason - to help them come out of harm. How often ego problems amongst Church members; and allegations of “insubordination”, of “not paying due respect” especially in those who see themselves in any position of authority, creates even more problems in the Church. We need to learn from Paul’s attitude, from his living by what he said in verse 1. While it is the responsibility of the elders of the Church to point out and correct the congregation, it is also necessary to do it in the manner taught by God in His Word; doing it in any other way will create more problems than it will solve.

If you are a Christian Believer and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually a disciple of the Lord, i.e., are redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers, first check and test all teachings that you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

The Lord’s Table - Correct People Only for Edification (1)

The Apostle Paul, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote this letter to the Church at Corinth to point out and show them the way to correct the many false practices about their Christian faith that had come up amongst them. There was no area of Christian Faith and living that had been left untouched by Satan, he had corrupted every aspect of their Christian life and brought in his wrong teachings and false doctrines; their participation in the Lord’s Table too had been corrupted by Satan. In 1 Corinthians 11:17 onwards, Paul takes up this topic - Christian Believer’s partaking of the Holy Communion; he points out their mistakes and errors, and instructs them about the Lord’s Table and about correcting their errors and mistakes.

Paul begins verse 17 with a peculiar sentence, “Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you…”; Paul was very forthright and straightforward about things related to the Christian Faith and God’s Word. We see at the beginning of this chapter, in verse 2, that he is praising them for remembering him and for keeping the traditions or ordinances that he had delivered to them. But this did not mean that he would overlook their short-comings in response to their affectionate and obedient attitude towards him. His accountability was to the Lord God, not any person or group of persons, nor any Church or Assembly. Paul’s first priority was to ensure that God’s Word was being followed, as he implies in verse 1 of this chapter. If there was any compromise, any misapplication, mishandling, misuse, or misunderstanding about God’s Word, that had to be handled and corrected, he did it straightaway, at any cost; whatever anyone may say or feel about his doing it. He had already pointed out to the Corinthian Believers earlier that he was dealing with them as his spiritual children, and was willing to do whatever was necessary to correct them - not just admonish, but even use a rod if necessary (1 Corinthians 4:14-21); for Paul had labored amongst the Corinthians for a year and a half, teaching them the Word of God (Acts 18:1, 11). So, right in the beginning of the section of this letter dealing with errors in partaking in the Holy Communion, we have the first teaching, especially for elders, preachers, and teachers in the Lord’s Church - be the one who respects the Lord and His Word, instead of being those who respect people or any person. Be gentle, but be uncompromising, impartial, and forthright; point out and correct errors for the growth and edification of the Church.

Then, in the second half of this verse, before pin-pointing the errors, he points out to them the overall consequences of what they were doing “...since you come together not for the better but for the worse” - their gathering together for the Lord’s Table, instead of benefitting them, was in fact causing them harm, and he wanted to correct that. We again see a fatherly concern, that his spiritual children should not come to any harm. Paul is telling them that he is not nit-picking on them; he is not doing it to humiliate them or put them down in any way. But he is pointing these things out to them to help and benefit them, since their errors were turning out to be counterproductive for their lives - spiritually as well as physically, as we see stated towards the end of this chapter. That brings to us the second lesson, again, especially for elders, preachers, and teachers in the Lord’s Church - be sincere and well-meaning; correct for the growth and edification of the person or the Church, instead of just being dogmatic, or settling scores with someone, or simply to assert your spiritual authority (1 Peter 5:1-4).

In the next article, moving ahead, we will see the other teachings given in this portion.

A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

    अभी तक प्रभु भोज के बारे में जिन गलत शिक्षाओं और गलत सिद्धांतों को हमने देखा है, जिन्हें सुधारे जाने की आवश्यकता है, और जिनका उपयोग शैतान प्रभु भोज के बारे में लोगों को बहकाने के लिए करता है, वे तथा उनसे संबंधित बाइबल के तथ्य ये हैं:

 

* जो कोई प्रभु का नाम ले और उसमें विश्वास करने का दावा करे, वह प्रभु भोज में भाग ले सकता है। बाइबल का तथ्य यह है कि जैसे फसह में केवल इस्राएली, अर्थात परमेश्वर के चुने हुए लोग, तथा वे अन्य-जाति लोग जो अपने आप को परमेश्वर तथा अब्राहम के मध्य बंधी वाचा के अधीन ले आए थे, तथा खतने के द्वारा इसकी गवाही दी थी, वे ही भाग ले सकते थे; उसी प्रकार से केवल नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी, अर्थात प्रभु के प्रति समर्पित और प्रतिबद्ध प्रभु के सच्चे शिष्य ही प्रभु भोज में भाग ले सकते हैं।

* प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने से व्यक्ति परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी और पवित्र हो जाता है, उसके पाप क्षमा हो जाते हैं, वह परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, तथा स्वर्ग में प्रवेश के योग्य बन जाता है। बाइबल का तथ्य यह है कि केवल परमेश्वर के लोगों को ही फसह में भाग लेने का अधिकार था; न कि फसह में भाग लेने से वे परमेश्वर के लोग बन जाते थे। उसी प्रकार से केवल वे ही, जिनके पाप क्षमा हो गए हैं, और जो प्रभु में सच्चे विश्वास तथा अपना जीवन उसे समर्पित करने के द्वारा प्रभु के लोग हो गए हैं, प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग ले सकते हैं। प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने से वे प्रभु के जन, धर्मी, पवित्र, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में जाने के योग्य नहीं बन जाते हैं।

* प्रभु की मेज़ में व्यक्ति अपने डिनॉमिनेशंस, समुदाय, या समूह की रीतियों, परंपराओं और विधियों के अनुसार भाग ले सकते हैं, इन बातों से इसमें भाग लेने पर कोई अंतर नहीं आता है। बाइबल का तथ्य यही है कि परमेश्वर अपनी आराधना की उसके द्वारा दी गई विधि और स्वरूप के प्रति, जो वह अपने वचन में पहले ही दे चुका है, सदा ही बहुत विशिष्ट और जलन रखने वाला रहा है। उसने जो निर्धारित कर के दे दिया है, उसमें वह किसी मनुष्य के द्वारा कोई भी परिवर्तन या “सुधार” सहन अथवा स्वीकार नहीं करता है। उसकी दृष्टि में मनुष्यों द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों से की गई आराधना व्यर्थ है, उसे अस्वीकार्य है, और निष्फल है। यहाँ तक कि जो लोग ऐसे अपने आप को परमेश्वर पर थोपते हैं, और सोचते हैं कि परमेश्वर इसके लिए कुछ नहीं कहेगा, उनके लिए इस बात के बहुत हानिकारक परिणाम भी हो सकते हैं।

    शैतान के अपनी धूर्त युक्तियों और बातों को घुसा कर लोगों को बहका देने का मूल कारण है कि लोगों ने व्यक्तिगत रीति से परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन करने, उसे सीखने और अपने जीवन में उसे लागू करने में रुचि लेना छोड़ दिया है। आज मसीही विश्वासी भी जो कुछ भी परमेश्वर के नाम में पुल्पिट से कह दिया जाता उसे परमेश्वर के वचन से बिना जाँचे-परखे मान लेने और स्वीकार कर लेने में संतुष्ट रहते हैं। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि आजकल कलीसिया के लोग सांसारिक संस्थानों द्वारा दी गई शैक्षिक योग्यताओं और प्रमाण-पत्रों पर अधिक भरोसा करने लग गए हैं, न कि उनके प्रचारक और शिक्षक के, प्रभु यीशु के प्रति समर्पण और प्रतिबद्धता के जीवन के। इसीलिए लोग उसे स्वीकार कर लेने तथा पालन करने की प्रवृत्ति रखते हैं जो उन्हें तर्क पूर्ण रीति से, रोचक और लुभावनी बातों के साथ, और ज्ञान के प्रदर्शन के द्वारा बता दिया जाता है; और वे यह मान कर चलते हैं कि यह सभी परमेश्वर के वचन के अनुसार भी होगा। क्योंकि कोई भी उन बातों और शिक्षाओं को परमेश्वर के वचन से जाँचता-परखता नहीं है, प्रचारक से प्रश्न नहीं करता है, इसीलिए गलत शिक्षाएं न केवल अन्दर आ गई हैं, बल्कि कलीसियाओं में उन्होंने इतनी गहरी पकड़ बना ली है कि आज लोग बाइबल के सत्यों को झूठ, और गलतियाँ करने की प्रवृत्ति रखने वाले मनुष्यों के ज्ञान और बुद्धि से कही गई बातों को सत्य मानने लगे हैं।

    यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं तथा आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है। आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

The Lord’s Table - How & Why Satan Has Been Able to Deceive Christians

 

So far, through the Passover, the antecedent of the Holy Communion described in Exodus 12, and then through the Gospel accounts of the New Testament we have learnt about the Holy Communion, and the Lord’s instituting it using the elements of the Passover. Amongst the various things we have learnt regarding the Holy Communion and participating in it, some things have stood out very strongly, and are very important. Because these things have not been paid attention to, therefore, Satan has been able to bring in many wrong teachings, misconceptions, and misunderstandings about the Lord’s Table. The Holy Communion and participating in it, has lost its purpose and value in Christendom, and has become more of a ritual, a tradition. It is now observed in the manner advocated and taught by religious leaders of denominations, sects, and groups, according to their understanding about it. This trend had started in the initial Churches itself; like for most of the other things related to the Christian Faith, Satan had beguiled and misled the Churches about the Lord’s Table too. That is why, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church for correcting many of the wrong teachings and false doctrines Satan had brought in amongst them, including about the Holy Communion. From the next article we will start considering the wrong concepts and false teachings that had crept into the Church in Corinth. Today we will consider some very important things related to false teachings and wrong doctrines.

The main things, the false teachings and wrong doctrines that Satan uses to beguile people regarding the Holy Communion, which we have seen so far, and which should be corrected, along with their related Biblical facts are:

* Anyone who takes the name of the Lord and claims to believe in the Lord can participate in it. The Biblical fact is like only the Israelites, the chosen people of God, and those gentiles who had brought themselves under the covenant of God with Abraham, and had witnessed for it through getting circumcised could partake of the Passover; similarly, only the Born-Again Christian Believers, the surrendered and committed disciples of the Lord Jesus can participate in the Holy Communion.

* Participating in the Lord’s Table makes one righteous and holy in God’s eyes, it provides forgiveness for their sins, makes them acceptable to God and worthy of entering heaven. The Biblical fact is like it was only the people of God who were permitted to partake of the Passover; their participation did not make them God’s people, but already being God’s people gave them the permission to participate in the Passover. Similarly, participating in the Lord’s Table does not make anyone a person of the Lord; does not make anyone righteous, holy, acceptable to God and worthy of heaven, does not forgive their sins. Rather only those whose sins have been forgiven and who have become the people of the Lord Jesus by sincere faith and surrender to Him, have been given the privilege to participate in the Holy Communion.

* In participating in the Lord’s Table, one can do it according to the rites, rituals, and manner of their denomination, or sect, or group, and it will not matter in anyway. The Biblical fact is that God always has been very particular and jealous for the manner He has already prescribed and given in His Word for people to worship Him. He does not accept any alterations or modifications by any man, in what He has prescribed. Any worship through man-made methods is vain worship in His eyes, is unacceptable to Him, is inconsequential, and could even have deleterious consequences for those who impose themselves upon God, and think that they can get away with it.

 

The basic reason for Satan being able to infiltrate his devious ploys and mislead people away is that people have lost interest in personally studying God’s Word, in learning it and applying it to their lives. Today even the Christian Believers are content with listening to whatever is preached from the pulpit in the name of God, accepting the messages without any questions or cross-checking it from God’s Word. This is because nowadays the congregation trusts the academic qualifications and certificates granted by worldly institutions, instead of the personal commitment and surrender of their preacher and teacher to the Lord Jesus. Therefore, people remain inclined and satisfied with accepting anything seemingly logical, interesting, attractive, and knowledgeable; and assume that it would be according to God’s word as well. Since no one cross-checks and questions the teachings, therefore wrong teachings and false doctrines have not only come in but have taken such strong roots in the Churches, that today people disbelieve Biblical truth, but accept as truth things from the wisdom and knowledge of fallible men.

If you are a Christian Believer and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually a disciple of the Lord, i.e., are redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers, first check and test all teachings that you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
