परमेश्वर के वचन के स्वरूप के निहितार्थ - 3
परमेश्वर के वचन के स्वरूप और स्वभाव के निहितार्थों से संबंधित पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि बाइबल की पुस्तकों के एकत्रित और संकलित किए जाने के बाद, जब बाइबल को अपने पूर्ण स्वरूप में हमारे हाथों में रख दिया गया है, तो हम से वार्तालाप और संपर्क करने के लिए और हमारा मार्गदर्शन करने के लिए, वही परमेश्वर का मुख्य और सामान्य माध्यम है। इसी लिए बाइबल को परमेश्वर का जीवित वचन भी कहते हैं। अब परमेश्वर ने हम से जो कुछ भी कहना होता है तो वह सामान्यतः बाइबल में हो कर ही कहता है। यदि परमेश्वर हम से किसी अन्य माध्यम द्वारा भी वार्तालाप करता है, तब भी वह कभी भी उन बातों से बाहर नहीं जाता है जो उसने अपने वचन में पहले से दे दी हैं।
क्योंकि प्रभु ने अपने आप को हमारे हाथों में बाइबल रूपी इस लिखित रूप में रख दिया है, इसलिए हमसे वार्तालाप करने का उसका मुख्य माध्यम यह बाइबल ही है, जो समस्त मानव जाति के लिए उसके द्वारा दिया गया स्वयं का प्रकाशन है। अब, सामान्यतः, परमेश्वर द्वारा जीवन और भक्ति की बातों के लिए सभी को व्यक्तिगत या विशेष प्रकाशन, दर्शन, या निर्देश देने की कोई आवश्यकता अथवा अनिवार्यता नहीं है, वे सब बाइबल में दे दी गई हैं (2 पतरस 1:3)। जैसा प्रभु यीशु ने यूहन्ना 14:21, 23 में कहा है, जो उसके वचन का आदर तथा पालन करते हैं, परमेश्वर उन से प्रेम करता है, अपने आप को उन पर प्रकट करता है, और उनके साथ वास करता है; अब इसकी तुलना मत्ती 7:21-23 से कीजिए।
इस बात का यह अर्थ नहीं है कि परमेश्वर अब व्यक्तियों के साथ अपने वचन के अतिरिक्त किसी अन्य माध्यम से व्यक्तिगत रीति से कभी कोई संपर्क नहीं करता है; वह निःसंदेह करता है, वह आज भी लोगों से विभिन्न प्रकार से बातचीत करता है। लेकिन मुख्यतः वह बाइबल के माध्यम से बात करता है; और वह जिस से भी, जैसे भी, जो भी कहता है, वह बात चाहे व्यक्तिगत उपयोग की हो अथवा सार्वजनिक उपयोग के लिए हो, उसकी कोई भी बात कभी भी उसके द्वारा बाइबल में दी गयी बातों के बाहर नहीं होगी। जैसा कि हम पहले देख चुके हैं, प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी में निवास करने वाला परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ही, सब बातों के लिये, मसीही विश्वासियों का शिक्षक है (यूहन्ना 14:26; 1 कुरिन्थियों 2:11-13)। प्रभु यीशु ने पवित्र आत्मा की सेवकाई के बारे में कहा कि, वह कभी अपनी ओर से कुछ नहीं कहेगा, केवल जो कुछ सुनेगा वही कहेगा, और प्रभु यीशु की बातों में से लेकर ही हमें बताएगा (यूहन्ना 16:13-14)। वह हमें स्मरण करवाएगा, किसी बात को हमारे ध्यान में लाएगा, अपने वचन के किसी विशिष्ट भाग पर हमारा ध्यान केन्द्रित करवाएगा, बाइबल के किसी खण्ड को जिसे समझने में हमें कठिनाई हो रही है हमें समझाएगा, हमें दिखाएगा कि बाइबल की किसी बात को अपने जीवन में लागू कैसे करें, इत्यादि; किन्तु उसने जो वचन हमें पहले से ही दे रखा है, उस से कभी बाहर नहीं जाएगा। इसलिए हमें हमेशा ही इस बारे में सचेत रहना चाहिए, और जो लोग यह दावा करते हैं कि उन्हें परमेश्वर से कोई विशेष सन्देश या दर्शन मिला है, उनकी बात को परमेश्वर के वचन से जांच लेना चाहिए (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 कुरिन्थियों 14:29; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)।
जैसा हम पहले देख चुके हैं, परमेश्वर ने अपने वचन में, उसमें कुछ भी जोड़ने या उसमें से कुछ भी निकालने के लिए बहुत गंभीर चेतावनियाँ दी हैं (व्यवस्थाविवरण 4:2; नीतिवचन 30:6; प्रकाशितवाक्य 22:18-19)। क्योंकि बाइबल परमेश्वर का पूर्ण हो चुका वचन है जो सदा काल के लिए स्वर्ग में स्थिर किया गया है (भजन 119:89), और प्रभु यीशु मसीह का एक स्वरूप है (यूहन्ना 1:1, 14), इसलिए परमेश्वर ने उसमें जो कह दिया और लिख दिया है, उसमें न तो वह कभी कुछ जोड़ेगा, न उसकी किसी बात में कोई परिवर्तन करेगा; क्योंकि यह करना स्वयं प्रभु परमेश्वर के साथ ही छेड़-छाड़ करना होगा; इसलिए किसी मनुष्य के द्वारा यह करना गंभीर दुष्परिणामों वाली बात है।
इसलिए, प्रकट निहितार्थ यही है कि परमेश्वर कभी भी किसी को भी ऐसे कोई दर्शन नहीं देगा, ऐसी कोई बात नहीं कहेगा, जो बाइबल में पहले से लिखी हुई बातों के अतिरिक्त होगी। क्योंकि जीवन और भक्ति से संबंधित हर बात हमें पहले से ही प्रभु यीशु मसीह की पहचान, जो बाइबल में होकर मिलती है, के द्वारा दे दी गई है (2 पतरस 1:3), इसलिए परमेश्वर की भक्ति से सम्बन्धित बातों के लिए भी परमेश्वर कभी किसी से कुछ ऐसा नहीं कहेगा, उसे किसी ऐसी बात की प्रेरणा नहीं देगा, जो उसने पहले से अपने वचन में लिखवा नहीं रखी है। परमेश्वर की भक्ति से संबंधित बाइबल के बाहर की बातें कुछ विशेष भक्तिपूर्ण होने, कुछ विशेष श्रद्धा व्यक्त करने के किसी मनुष्य के अपने उपजाऊ दिमाग़ की उपज तो हो सकते हैं, किन्तु कभी परमेश्वर की ओर से नहीं होंगे; और वह जो परमेश्वर की ओर से नहीं है, वह व्यर्थ है, और अपनी आराधना-उपासना के लिए उसे अस्वीकार्य है (मत्ती 15:9, 13)।
अगले लेख में भी हम बाइबल के स्वरूप से सम्बन्धित निहितार्थों पर विचार करना ज़ारी रखेंगे, और बाइबल से सम्बन्धित कुछ अन्य, प्रचलित किन्तु गलत् धारणाओं के बारे में देखेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Implications of the Nature of God’s Word - 3
In the previous article on implications of the substance and nature of God’s Word we have seen how and why since after the Bible has been completed and compiled, and has been placed in our hands, it is the main, the usual means through which God communicates with us and guides us. This is why The Bible is also known as The Living Word of God. Now whatever God has to say to us, is usually through the Bible. Even if God communicates with us through any other means, He never goes outside of what he has already given to us in His Word.
Since the Lord God has placed Himself in our hands in this written form as The Bible, therefore, now His main and predominant means of communicating with us is the Bible, His revelation of Himself for all of mankind. Now, generally speaking, there is neither need nor necessity for God to give everyone individual or special revelations, visions, and instructions for things pertaining to life and godliness, for their or for other’s lives, for they have all been given to us in the Bible (2 Peter 1:3). As the Lord Jesus has said in John 14:21, 23, those who honor and obey His Word, God loves them, manifests Himself to them, and makes His home with them; contrast this with Matthew 7:21-23.
This is not to say that God no longer communicates with individuals in any manner other than through His Word; undoubtedly, He still does speak to people in various ways. But generally speaking, He communicates with us mainly through The Bible; and whatever He says to anyone through any manner of communication, whether for private or public use, will never be outside of what He has given in The Bible. As we have seen earlier, God the Holy Spirit residing in every Believer, is every Christian Believer’s teacher (John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 2:11-13). The Lord Jesus said about the Holy Spirit’s ministry that He will not speak anything on His own authority, but only that which He hears, and will take what Christ Jesus has said and declare it to the Believers (John 16:13-14). He will remind us, bring something to our attention, help us focus upon a particular aspect of His Word, explain some passage we are having difficulty with, show us how to apply something from the Bible in our lives, etc., but He will never go over and outside The Word that He has already given to us. Therefore, we always need to be wary of, and confirm from God’s Word everything that someone claims he has received as a special communication from God (Acts 17:11; 1 Corinthians 14:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:21).
As we had seen earlier, God has given very serious warnings in His Word about adding to it or taking away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2; Proverbs 30:6; Revelation 22:18-19). Since the Bible is the completed Word of God, forever settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89), a form of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself (John 1:1, 14), therefore, God will never add anything to it, nor take anything away from it, nor alter anything He has said and had written in it; since doing any of these will be tampering with the Lord God Himself; something that has grave consequences for the people who do this.
Therefore, the evident implication is that God will never give to anyone any revelations or speak of things that are outside of what is already written in the Bible. Since everything pertaining to life and godliness has already been given to us in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus, which is through the Bible (2 Peter 1:3), therefore, even for things and ways related to godliness, God will never inspire, or ask anyone to do or say anything, in any manner that He has not already given to us in His Word. Any such extra-Biblical things related to godliness or about living our lives in the world, can be through the fertile imagination of some man desiring to be extra-reverent and extra-pious, but it will not be from God; and that which is not from God is vain, is unacceptable to Him for His worship (Matthew 15:9, 13).

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
