परमेश्वर के वचन में फेर-बदल – 2
पिछले लेख से हमने शैतान की एक और युक्ति, जिसके द्वारा वह मसीही विश्वासी से परमेश्वर के वचन का भण्डारी होने की उसकी ज़िम्मेदारी के निर्वाह में गलती करवाता है, के बारे में देखना आरम्भ किया है। यह युक्ति है परमेश्वर के वचन में फेर-बदल करना, जिस कारण से वह वचन भ्रष्ट हो जाता है। हमने देखा था कि मुख्यतः दो तरीके होते हैं जिन के द्वारा यह फेर-बदल किया जाता है। पहला तो जान-बूझ कर किया गया होता है, जिसका प्रमाण और उदाहरण कुछ डिनॉमिनेशंस, मतों, और संप्रदायों द्वारा बाइबल के अपने ही बनाए संस्करणों के उपयोग द्वारा मिल जाता है। गलत प्रचार और शिक्षाएँ देने तथा पालन करने वाले इन लोगों ने बाइबल के लेखों में फेर-बदल कर के बाइबल को उनकी अपनी धारणाओं और शिक्षाओं के अनुरूप बना लिया है, और वे अपने इन संस्करणों को ही सही और सच्चा बता कर लोगों को गलत धारणाओं और शिक्षाओं में फँसाते हैं।
दूसरा तरीका वह है, जिसे पहचानना, समझना, और मानना कठिन है; इसमें शैतान परमेश्वर के समर्पित लोगों से ही परमेश्वर के वचन में फेर-बदल करवाता है। शैतान यह कार्य उनके द्वारा चुपके से और चालाकी से बाइबल के वाक्यांशों और भागों का उस तरह से, उस अभिप्राय और उद्देश्य के लिए उपयोग करवाता है, जो उनके लिए बाइबल में दिए या कहे ही नहीं गए हैं; अर्थात् बाइबल की बातों का, बाइबल से बाहर की बातों के लिए और अनुचित अभिप्राय से उपयोग करवाना। परमेश्वर के वचन में इस प्रकार से फेर-बदल करने की बहुत दुर्भाग्य पूर्ण बात है कि यह अकसर कलीसिया के ज्ञानवान अगुवों और ज़िम्मेदार लोगों के द्वारा, अनजाने में ही करवा दिया जाता है। परमेश्वर के प्रति अपनी भक्ति, प्रेम, और श्रद्धा व्यक्त करने के प्रयासों में, इस बात का एहसास किए बिना कि शैतान ने किस प्रकार से उन लोगों का दुरुपयोग किया है, वे परमेश्वर के वचन को भ्रष्ट कर बैठते हैं। उन्हें यही लगता रहता है कि वे अपनी धारणाओं और व्यवहार के द्वारा परमेश्वर का आदर और महिमा कर तथा सिखा रहे हैं, परमेश्वर से आशीषों को कमा रहे हैं; जब कि वास्तव में वे वचन को भ्रष्ट करने और उसके दुरुपयोग के द्वारा परमेश्वर की अप्रसन्नता और उसके दुष्परिणाम स्वयं भी अर्जित कर रहे हैं, तथा औरों से भी करवा रहे हैं।
इस दूसरी शैतानी युक्ति को तब ही समझा और पहचाना जा सकता है जब हम हमेशा इस युक्ति से संबंधित बाइबल की बातों को ध्यान और स्मरण रखें, और किसी भी मनुष्य द्वारा प्रचार किए जाने वाले किसी भी सन्देश अथवा शिक्षा को स्वीकार करने से पहले, उसे वचन की बातों के आधार पर जाँच परख लें। चाहे वह प्रचार करने वाला कोई भी क्यों न हो, कितना ही ख्याति प्राप्त और आदरणीय क्यों न हो, और उसके विश्वास, बाइबल के ज्ञान, और परमेश्वर के वचन से प्रचार करने, उसे सिखाने के लिए उसकी कितनी भी सराहना क्यों न होती हो।
इस गलती में फँसने से बचने के लिए हमें जिन बातों का हमेशा ध्यान रखना चाहिए, जिन्हें हमेशा उपयोग करते रहना चाहिए, वे हैं:
कभी भी किसी भी मनुष्य को अचूक, कभी गलती न करने वाला नहीं समझें। हम परमेश्वर के भक्त लोगों के उदाहरणों से देख चुके हैं कि कैसे उन्होंने भी परमेश्वर के वचन से संबंधित बहुत बड़ी-बड़ी गलतियाँ की हैं, जिस कारण उनके अपने जीवनों में तथा औरों के जीवनों में घोर समस्याएँ आई हैं। मनुष्य का उसकी वास्तविकता से अधिक, और शैतान का उसकी वास्तविकता से कम आँकलन करना, नि:सन्देह ही देर-सवेर होने वाले नाश का कारण होता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 10:12)।
प्रचारक और शिक्षक चाहे कोई भी क्यों न हो, आप तो यही ठान कर रखिए कि दिए जाने वाले सन्देश को स्वीकार और पालन करने से पहले, तथा औरों तक उसे पहुँचाने से पहले, उसे परमेश्वर के वचन से जाँचना और परखना अनिवार्य है (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 कुरिन्थियों 14:29; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)।
हमेशा यह याद रखें कि एक मसीही विश्वासी अपने कार्य में केवल परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की सहायता और मार्गदर्शन द्वारा ही सफल हो सकता है। प्रभु यीशु मसीह के शब्दों में, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, “सत्य का आत्मा है” (यूहन्ना 14:17; 15:26; 16:13), और इसलिए वह कभी भी किसी भी ऐसी बात के साथ संलग्न नहीं होगा जो बाइबल का सत्य नहीं है। दूसरी बात, पवित्र आत्मा की सेवकाई मसीही विश्वासियों की सहायता करना है। वह यह कार्य अपने द्वारा कोई नए दर्शन देने या नए सिद्धांत सिखाने के द्वारा नहीं करता है, वरन प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने जो बताया और सिखाया है उसे ही मसीही विश्वासियों के ध्यान में लाने के द्वारा करता है (यूहन्ना 14:16, 26; 16:13-14)। इसलिए बाइबल की बातों से संबंधित ऐसी कोई भी शिक्षा, जो उसकी संपूर्णता में बाइबल में पहले से ही दिए गए और लिखवाए गए वचन के अनुसार नहीं है; अर्थात्, परमेश्वर और भक्ति से संबंधित कोई भी बात जो बाइबल की बातों से ज़रा भी भिन्न है, बाइबल के सत्य के पूर्णतः अनुरूप नहीं है, वह कभी भी पवित्र आत्मा की ओर से नहीं होगी, वह केवल शैतान की ओर से ही हो सकती है।
हमें 2 पतरस 1:3-4 में स्पष्ट लिख कर दिया गया है कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह की पहचान में होकर, सब कुछ जो जीवन और भक्ति से सम्बन्ध रखता है, वह परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही मसीही विश्वासियों को दे दिया है। प्रेरित पतरस ने, पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में इसे भूत-काल में लिखवाया है, अर्थात् जिस समय पतरस ने इसे लिखवाया था, उस से पहले ही मसीही विश्वासियों को जीवन और भक्ति से सम्बन्धित सभी बातें परमेश्वर द्वारा दी जा चुकी थीं। परमेश्वर का वचन पूर्ण है, उसमें कोई त्रुटि या कमी नहीं है, और सदा काल के लिए स्वर्ग में स्थापित है (भजन 119:89, 160)। परमेश्वर उसमें कभी कोई सुधार या परिवर्तन नहीं करेगा, उसमें कभी कुछ नया नहीं जोड़ेगा। इसलिए यह असंभव है कि वह मसीही विश्वासियों द्वारा मानने के लिए अपने लिखित वचन के अतिरिक्त कोई नया दर्शन या प्रकाशन देगा। ऐसा कोई भी “नया दर्शन या प्रकाशन” परमेश्वर के वचन को बिगाड़ने और भ्रष्ट करने के शैतानी प्रयास के अतिरिक्त और कुछ नहीं हो सकता है।
इसलिए यदि कोई बाइबल में लिखी बात और तथ्यों का तो उपयोग कर रहा है, किन्तु उन्हें ऐसे अर्थ और तात्पर्य दे रहा है जो उनके बारे में बाइबल में पहले ही लिखे गए के अनुरूप नहीं हैं, उस से भिन्न हैं; और उन बातों को उन तरीकों और उन उद्देश्यों के लिए उपयोग करने को कह रहा है जिनके लिए बाइबल में उनके बारे में नहीं लिखा गया है, तो फिर ऐसी प्रत्येक शिक्षा और प्रचार झूठे हैं, गलत हैं, शैतानी हैं, और उन का पालन नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। चाहे कोई भी इन बातों को कहे और सिखाए, और चाहे वह इन्हें परमेश्वर के प्रति भक्ति, विश्वास, प्रेम और श्रद्धा को व्यक्त करने के लिए उपयोग क्यों न करे।
पौलुस द्वारा गलातियों 1:8-9 में ज़ोर देकर कही गई बात का ध्यान रखें, “परन्तु यदि हम या स्वर्ग से कोई दूत भी उस सुसमाचार को छोड़ जो हम ने तुम को सुनाया है, कोई और सुसमाचार तुम्हें सुनाए, तो श्रापित हो। जैसा हम पहिले कह चुके हैं, वैसा ही मैं अब फिर कहता हूं, कि उस सुसमाचार को छोड़ जिसे तुम ने ग्रहण किया है, यदि कोई और सुसमाचार सुनाता है, तो श्रापित हो। अब मैं क्या मनुष्यों को मनाता हूं या परमेश्वर को? क्या मैं मनुष्यों को प्रसन्न करना चाहता हूं?” दूसरे शब्दों में, शैतान में वह सामर्थ्य है कि पौलुस जैसे लोगों और स्वर्गदूतों से भी, उन्हीं के द्वारा पहले से ही कही गई बातों से भिन्न बातें कहलवा दे। और इसीलिए वह ज़ोर देकर आग्रह करता है कि पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा पहले से परमेश्वर के वचन में जो लिखवा दिया गया है, उसके अतिरिक्त, उसके बाहर किसी अन्य बात पर विश्वास नहीं करना है।
अगले लेख में हम यह समझने के लिए कि बाइबल की बातों का, बाइबल से बाहर की, तथा अनुपयुक्त बातों का समर्थन करने के लिए कैसे दुरुपयोग उपयोग किया जाता है, वचन में से और आगे देखेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Altering God’s Word - 2
Since the previous article we have begun to see another of Satan’s strategies to make the Christian Believer falter in his stewardship of God’s Word, by altering God’s Word, and thereby corrupting it. We had seen that basically there are two ways in which this alteration and corruption is done, one is deliberately, as is evidenced in the copies of the Bible used by some denominations, sects, and cults preaching and practicing their own, wrong doctrines and teachings about Christianity. They have altered the text of God’s Word, to make it appear supportive of their wrong doctrines and teachings, and they claim that their version of the Bible is the correct version; preach and teach from it and entangle people.
The second ploy, one that is difficult to discern, understand and accept, by which Satan makes God’s committed people alter God’s Word. Satan does this through subtly inducing them to use Biblical phrases and portions in manners and with meanings and implications not associated with them in the Bible; i.e., use Biblical texts in an unBiblical way. The very unfortunate aspect of this method of altering God’s Word and thereby corrupting it is that most often this happens inadvertently through the knowledgeable leaders and elders of the Church. In their efforts to express godliness, their love and reverence towards God, and without realizing how Satan has cleverly misused them, they end up corrupting God’s Word. They assume that through their concepts and actions they are honoring and exalting God, teaching the same to others, and are being blessed by God for their efforts; whereas in reality, by corrupting and misusing God’s Word, they actually are incurring the displeasure of God and its harmful consequences for themselves, and getting others also to do the same.
This second devious ploy can only be understood and discerned if we always remember certain related teachings from the Bible about this, and make it a point to apply them before accepting anything being preached and taught by any man. No matter how popular and well appreciated he may be for his faith, Bible knowledge, and ability to preach and teach from the Word of God.
The things that we always need keep in mind, and always keep applying practically are:
Never consider any person, whoever he may be, as infallible and incapable of making mistakes. We have seen from the lives of godly men, how they made gross errors related to God’s Word, bringing problems in their own, and other’s lives as well. Overestimating man, and underestimating Satan is a sure-shot recipe for imminent disaster (1 Corinthians 10:12).
No matter who the preacher or teacher may be, always make it a point to first cross-check from God’s Word anything and everything that is preached and taught, before accepting it, obeying it, and passing it on to others (Acts 17:11; 1 Corinthians 14:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:21).
Always remember that a Christian Believer can only be successful in his work and ministry for God through the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit. God the Holy Spirit, in the words of the Lord Jesus, is the “Spirit of Truth” (John 14:17; 15:26; 16:13), and therefore will never be associated with anything that is not the Biblical truth. Secondly, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to help the Christian Believers, not by giving them any new revelations from His side, but only through reminding the Christian Believers about what the Lord Jesus has taught and said (John 14:16, 26; 16:13-14). Therefore, any teaching related to Biblical things, that is not completely in accordance with what has already been given in the Bible, i.e., anything about God and godliness that is at variance from the Bible, is Biblically untrue, will never be from the Holy Spirit. Hence, it can only be from Satan.
We have it categorically stated to us in 2 Peter 1:3-4, that through the knowledge of the Lord Jesus, God has already given to us everything that pertains to life and godliness. The Apostle Peter, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, had this written in the past tense, i.e., at the time Peter got it written, everything pertaining to life and godliness had already been given to the Christian Believers. God’s Word is inerrant, complete, and forever settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89, 160). God will never make any modifications in it, and will never add anything to it. Hence it is impossible that God will give any new revelations outside of His already given word, for Christians to follow. Any such “new revelations” cannot be anything but satanic attempts to undermine and subvert God’s Word.
Therefore, if anyone is using Biblical texts and facts, but giving them meanings and implications that are not in accordance with what already has been written about them in the Bible, and teaching to use them in ways and for purposes not spoken about them in the Bible, then every such teaching and preaching is false, satanic, and is not to be followed. No matter who it is who says those things, and even if he says and teaches them as an expression of godliness, and of faith, love and reverence for God.
Remember Paul’s exhortation in Galatians 1:8-9 “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” In other words, Satan is capable of inducing even people like Paul and even the angels, to start saying and preaching things other than what they have already said. And so he exhorts to not believe and accept anything other than what has already been given by God the Holy Spirit in the Word of God.
In the next article we will see some more about this to understand how Biblical things can be misused to imply UnBiblical and false things.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
