इस श्रृंखला का एक संक्षिप्त पुनःअवलोकन
हमने अस्सी (80) दिन पहले, परमेश्वर के लिए एक ऐसा जीवन जीना जिस पर उसकी आशीष हो और जिसे “सफलता से जिया गया जीवन” कहा जा सके के बारे में वचन से सीखने के लिये, इस श्रृंखला का आरम्भ किया था। इस श्रृंखला के लिए हमने बाइबल से 1 राजाओं 2:2-4 को अपनी अगुवाई के लिए लिया था। इस खण्ड में, राजा दाऊद परमेश्वर की इच्छा में, अपनी मृत्यु से पहले, अपने युवा पुत्र सुलैमान, जिसे अभी हाल ही में इस्राएल का राजा नियुक्त किया गया है, को कुछ महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश दे रहा है। दाऊद सुलैमान को, जो यद्यपि एक राजा है, सिखा रहा है कि परमेश्वर की कृपा में किस प्रकार से जीना, बढ़ना, और उन्नति करते जाना है, जिससे कि वह अपने शासन काल में आशीषित, सुरक्षित, और सफल रहे। दाऊद, सुलैमान से कहता है कि जयवंत बने रहने के लिए उसे परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखने वाला, उसका पूर्णतः आज्ञाकारी, उसी पर निर्भर रहने वाला, और केवल परमेश्वर ही को अपना रक्षक बनाए रखना है। यह संभव हो पाने के लिए उसे इन चार बातों का निर्वाह करना पड़ेगा:
1. “तू हियाव बांधकर पुरुषार्थ दिखा।” (1 राजाओं 2:2)
2. “जो कुछ तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुझे सौंपा है, उसकी रक्षा कर”; अर्थात, जो कुछ परमेश्वर ने तुझे दिया है उसका भला भण्डारी बन (1 राजाओं 2:3a)
3. “उसके मार्गों पर चला करना और जैसा मूसा की व्यवस्था में लिखा है, वैसा ही उसकी विधियों तथा आज्ञाओं, और नियमों, और चितौनियों का पालन करते रहना”; अर्थात परमेश्वर के वचन में लिखी सभी बातों का पालन कर, उनका आज्ञाकारी रह (1 राजाओं 2:3b)
4. “अपने सम्पूर्ण हृदय और सम्पूर्ण प्राण से सच्चाई के साथ नित मेरे सम्मुख चलते रहें” अर्थात, हमेशा प्रभु परमेश्वर के प्रति प्रतिबद्ध और समर्पित होकर खराई से उसके सम्मुख चलता रहे (1 राजाओं 2:4b)
यही चार निर्देश प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी के लिए भी हैं, जिस से कि वे अपने मसीही जीवन में जयवंत और सफल रहें तथा परमेश्वर की आशीषों को पाने वाले हों, विशेषकर इन अन्त के दिनों में जब हमें विभिन्न तरीकों से शैतानी ताकतों के निरंतर हमलों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
उपरोक्त चार निर्देशों में से हम पहले वाले को देख चुके हैं। दूसरे निर्देश, परमेश्वर द्वारा दिए गए प्रावधानों और संसाधनों का अच्छा भण्डारी होना, को देखते हुए, हमने ध्यान किया था कि हम दो प्रकार के व्यवहार के द्वारा अयोग्य भण्डारी हो जाते हैं। ये दो बातें हैं:
उदासीन और बेपरवाह होने के द्वारा: उस दास के समान होना जिसने उसे दिए गए एक तोड़े की कीमत को नहीं पहचाना, न ही जिसने वह दिया था उसकी कोई परवाह की, और उस तोड़े को किसी भी काम में नहीं लगाया, और उसे दण्ड उठाना पड़ा (मत्ती 25:24-30)।
अनुचित रीति से अधिकार जमाना और हथिया लेना: उस सेवक के समान होना जिसने अपने भण्डारी होने का दुरुपयोग किया, अपने आप को औरों पर अधिकारी बना लिया और अपने साथियों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया (लूका 12:45-46); जब कि उसे अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी निभाने में नम्र और देखभाल करने वाला होना चाहिए था (1 पतरस 5:1-4)।
और फिर हमने देखा था कि प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को परमेश्वर ने उद्धार के साथ ही कम से कम चार और प्रावधान दिए हैं:
अपना वचन
अपना पवित्र आत्मा
अपनी कलीसिया और उसमें उसकी संतानों के साथ संगति
अपनी सेवकाई में सहायता करने के लिए पवित्र आत्मा का कोई न कोई वरदान
इसलिए, हम में से प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को उसे परमेश्वर द्वारा दिए गए कम से कम चार उपरोक्त प्रावधानों का योग्य भण्डारी तो होना ही है; क्योंकि हम सभी को प्रभु के सामने खड़े होकर अपना हिसाब देना होगा, और उसी के अनुसार हमें प्रतिफल मिलेंगे (रोमियों 14:12; 2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। इन का भण्डारी होने के बारे में देखते हुए हमने परमेश्वर के वचन के योग्य भण्डारी होने के बारे में देखा है, और कैसे शैतान विभिन्न तरीकों से हमें गिरा कर अयोग्य भण्डारी बनाने के प्रयास करता है, और फिर हमने पौलुस के जीवन और सेवकाई उदाहरणों से परमेश्वर के वचन के उचित उपयोग था उसके प्रति व्यवहार करने को सीखा था।
आशीषित और सफल मसीही जीवन के लिए इस दूसरे निर्देश में परमेश्वर के प्रावधानों के भले भण्डारी होने के बारे में आगे बढ़ते हुए, अब हम अगले लेख से परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा के प्रति हमारे भण्डारी होने के बारे में देखना आरम्भ करेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

A Brief Recapitulation of This Series
Eighty days ago, we had started this series to learn from God’s Word about living a life for God that would be blessed by Him and be counted as a “successfully lived life.” We had taken 1 Kings 2:2-4 as our lead Bible portion for this series. In this passage, King David in the will of God, before his passing-away, is giving some important instructions to his young son, Solomon, who has recently been crowned as King of Israel. David is instructing Solomon, though already a King, about how to live, grow and prosper in God's favor, and be blessed, safe and successful in his reign. David instructs Solomon that to remain victorious, he has to remain totally trusting, obedient, dependent upon God, and to let only God be his security. For this to happen, he must do the following 4 things:
To "be strong and prove yourself a man." (1 Kings 2:2).
To "keep the charge of the Lord God", i.e., to be a good Steward of whatever God has given to him (1 Kings 2:3a).
To “walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses”, i.e., be obedient to the Word of God, in all things written in it. (1 Kings 2:3b).
To “walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul”, i.e., be careful, taking heed, to remain sincere and committed to the Lord always (1 Kings 2:4b).
The same four instructions apply to every Christian Believer, for their being victorious and successful in their Christian lives and be partakers of God's blessings, particularly in these end times when we are facing the relentless attacks of satanic forces in various ways and in every aspect of our lives.
Of the above four instructions, we have already considered the first one. In considering the second instruction, being a worthy steward of God given provisions, we had made note that we can be unworthy stewards because of two kinds of attitudes. We can be poor stewards by either:
Being careless and unconcerned: being like the servant who did not take into consideration the worth of the talent given to him, nor of the one who had given it to him, but did not put the talent given to him to any use, and was punished (Matthew 25:24-30).
Being overly possessive and usurping: by being like the one who misused his stewardship as a position of authority (Luke 12:45-46); whereas he had to be gentle and caring in his responsibility (1 Peter 5:1-4).
And then we had seen that to every truly Born-Again Christian Believer, God has not only given salvation, but also:
His Word
His Holy Spirit
His Church and Fellowship of His Children
Some Gift of the Holy Spirit for our ministry
So, we the Christian Believers need to be worthy stewards of at least the above mentioned four provisions given to us by God; since all of us will have to stand before the Lord and give an account, and accordingly receive our rewards. In considering this stewardship, we have seen about being worthy stewards of God’s Word, about the various ways Satan can make us slip-up and be unworthy stewards, and then from the life and examples of Paul’s ministry, how to utilize and handle God’s Word worthily.
In carrying on with this second point of being blessed and successful through being worthy stewards of God’s provisions, from the next article, we will start considering about our stewardship of God the Holy Spirit.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
