बाइबल - वैज्ञानिक आविष्कारों के लिए प्रेरणा एवं मार्गदर्शन देने में अनुपम
पिछले लेख में हमने एक बहुत आम किन्तु सर्वथा गलत धारणा के बारे में देखा था और समझा था कि बाइबल और विज्ञान परस्पर विरोधी हैं; यह एक फैलाया गया भ्रम है। सृष्टि, अपने सृष्टिकर्ता के विरुद्ध कैसे हो सकती है; इसीलिये, सृष्टि का अध्ययन - विज्ञान, सृष्टिकर्ता का विरोध कैसे कर सकता है? आज हम कुछ ऐसे वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों और खोज के उदाहरणों, और बातों को देखेंगे, जिन्हें बाइबल पर विश्वास रखने वाले लोगों ने, बाइबल पर अपने विश्वास के आधार पर हमारे सामने प्रकट किया, और बाइबल तथा विज्ञान के सामंजस्य की पुष्टि की। यह एक अद्भुत और अनोखी बात है जो बाइबल के बाहर, संसार भर के किसी भी अन्य धार्मिक लेख में देखने को नहीं मिलती है।

His inspiration, Holy Writ, Psalm 8:8; Ecclesiastes 1:6”. सर विलियम रैमसे एक बहुत माने हुए बाइबल पुरातत्व वैज्ञानिक हुए, जिनके द्वारा किए गए खोज और बातें आज भी, उनके 100 से भी अधिक वर्ष बाद भी, बाइबल संबंधी पुरातत्व खोजों के लिए पढ़ी और पढ़ाई जाती हैं, और उनके इस कार्य के लिए उन्हें "सर" की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया गया था। अपने समय के अन्य अनेकों पढ़े-लिखे और ज्ञानवान लोगों के समान, उनकी भी धारणा थी कि बाइबल विश्वास योग्य नहीं है, और इसे वह आदर-मान नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए जो दिया जाता है। अपनी धारणा प्रमाणित करने के लिए वे बाइबल संबंधी क्षेत्रों में प्रमाण एकत्रित करने के लिए गए जिससे यह प्रमाणित कर सकें कि बाइबल विश्वासयोग्य नहीं है। उन्होंने जा कर पुरातत्व महत्व के स्थानों पर खुदाई करनी तथा प्रमाण एकत्रित करने आरंभ किए। शीघ्र ही उन्हें एहसास हो गया कि बाइबल में लिखी बातें, छोटे से छोटे विवरण में भी बिल्कुल सटीक और सही हैं, और बाइबल संबंधी उनके पुरातत्व खोज और ज्ञान ने बाइबल के पक्ष में अनेकों प्रमाण उजागर कर दिए। विलियम रैमसे स्वयं इन प्रमाणों से इतने प्रभावित हुए कि वे भी एक मसीही विश्वासी बन गए, उन्होंने बाइबल कॉलेज में दाखिला लिया, मसीही सेवकाई में सम्मिलित हुए, और अपनी खोज के कार्यों से कई पुस्तकें और लेख लिखे, जिन्हें आज भी बहुत सम्मान के साथ देखा और पढ़ा जाता है। बाइबल को झूठ प्रमाणित करने का प्रयास करने वाला व्यक्ति बाइबल के सत्य को प्रमाणित करने वाला मसीही विश्वासी बन गया। वास्तविकता में, ऐसी कोई भी पुरातत्व खोज नहीं है जो बाइबल की किसी भी बात को असत्य प्रमाणित करती हो।
यही बाइबल संसार के अन्त और न्याय के बारे में भी बताती है जब प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को प्रभु यीशु के सामने खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देना होगा, और उसके प्रतिफल लेने होंगे (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। क्या आप इस के लिए तैयार हैं? क्योंकि यह तैयारी केवल इस पृथ्वी के वर्तमान जीवन में ही सम्भव है। बाद में तो आप के किये हुए निर्णयों का निर्वाह ही होगा, उन निर्णयों में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं हो सकेगा।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Bible - Unique in Inspiring & Guiding Scientific Discoveries
In the previous article we had considered and understood about a very popular, but absolutely false notion that has been widely spread that the Bible and science are contradictory. How can creation speak against its creator; therefore, how can science, the study of created things, speak against the creator? Today, we will see some scientific facts and discoveries, which the Bible believing people, because of their faith in the Bible, brought out and placed before us, and confirmed the harmony between the Bible and science. Something amazing and unique, that is not seen anywhere outside the Bible, in any other religious text anywhere in the world.
Centuries before scientists recognized and accepted the importance of Earth's being round, of the water cycle, of isolating infected patients to prevent transmission of infectious diseases, of the importance of hygiene and hand-washing, etc., they had already been written in the Bible, and the people of God were instructed to obey them.
In the oldest book of the Bible, the Book of Job in the Old Testament, which was written around 2000 BC, God asked Job about the "springs of the sea", "Have you entered the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths?” (Job 38:16). These "springs of the ocean" were first observed in 1973 at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge in the deep ocean floor, with water escaping into the ocean; And in 1977 amazing springs of warm water were seen at the bottom of the deep ocean, and their pictures were taken. The well-known journal National Geographic published an article in its November 1979 issue on the "springs of the ocean" existing in these deep ocean floors.
Matthew Fontaine Maury, a Christian officer in the US Navy, noticed written in the Bible, "The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit" (Ecclesiastes 1:6), and "The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas" (Psalm 8:8), and decided that he will trace the pathways mentioned in the Bible, of the wind, the water, and of the creatures of air and water. His tireless efforts and study, and his publication of the currents of air and sea-water flow tremendously helped the sailors to travel and work at sea. After the death of Matthew Fontaine Maury, a monument was erected in his memory, in which the words were carved on a stone plaque: “Mathew Fontaine Maury, Pathfinder of the Seas, the genius who first snatched from the oceans and atmosphere the secret of their laws. His inspiration, Holy Writ, Psalm 8:8; Ecclesiastes 1:6” - the secret of his amazing genius - his being a Bible believer; a simple person who had an unwavering belief in the truth and veracity of God's word.
Charles Whitsholt was also a Bible believing Christian; he was also a Director of Standard Oil Company of America. He was sent by his company to Egypt to find oil - when no one knew that there were oil reserves in Egypt or in the lands of the Middle East Gulf countries; And he did discover oil in Egypt. Charles Whitsholt's belief in the existence of oil in Egypt was based on a Bible verse "But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank" (Exodus 2:3). Charles Whitsholt believed that if a slave woman could find ‘pitch' in Egypt, which came from oil under the earth, it meant that Egypt had oil. His company had full confidence in him because of his Christian character and faith, and the company sent him, based on his faith, to search for oil in Egypt. And on the basis of what was written in the Bible, he discovered and demonstrated the presence of oil in Egypt and the Middle East.
Sir William Ramsey was a highly regarded Bible archaeologist, whose discoveries and sayings are still read and studied today, more than 100 years after him, for Biblical archaeological discoveries he made. For his work, he was awarded the title of "Sir". Like many other well-educated and knowledgeable people of his time, he held the belief that the Bible was unworthy of being believed, and that it should not be given the respect it was being given. To substantiate his belief, he went to the Biblical lands to collect evidence so that he could prove his contention of the Bible being unreliable. He went and started digging at places of archaeological importance and collecting evidence. He soon realized that what was written in the Bible was accurate and correct even in the smallest detail, and his archaeological discoveries and knowledge uncovered numerous pieces of evidence in favor of the Bible. William Ramsey himself was so impressed by the evidence that he became a Christian Believer, enrolled in Bible College, joined the Christian ministry, and wrote many books and articles from his research work, which are seen, read and held with great respect even today. The man who tried to prove the Bible to be false became a Christian and a person who proved the truth of the Bible instead. In fact, there is no archaeological discovery that proves anything in the Bible to be false.
This same Bible also speaks of the end of the world and time of judgement, when everyone will have to stand before the Lord Jesus to give an account of their lives and receive the rewards and consequences (2 Corinthians 5:10). Are you prepared and ready to face this? For, this preparation can only be done in this present life on earth. After that, the decisions you have made now, will be implemented, no alteration in those decisions will be permitted at that time.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
