विश्वासियों के लिए पुनरुत्थान के निहितार्थ – 1
इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई छः आरम्भिक बातों में से हम वर्तमान में पाँचवीं “मरे हुओं का जी उठना” का अध्ययन कर रहे हैं। पिछले कुछ लेखों में हम ने प्रभु यीशु के पुनरुत्थान के बारे में विचार किया है, क्योंकि वह मसीही विश्वास का आधार है। क्योंकि प्रभु का पुनरुत्थान मसीही विश्वास की धुरी है, इसी लिए शैतान उस पर हमले करता रहता है, उस पर किसी-न-किसी तरह से अविश्वास लाने के प्रयास करता रहता है, ताकि लोग उस पर और उस से होने वाले लाभों पर विश्वास न करें, और उस के विषय बहकाए-भरमाए जा सकें। इसी लिए यह प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी के लिए अनिवार्य है कि पुनरुत्थान के बारे में सीखे ताकि शैतान द्वारा फैलाई जाने वाली झूठी कहानियों का खण्डन कर सके; और इन पिछले लेखों में हम ने देखा है कि मसीही विश्वासी यह कैसे कर सकते है। पिछले लेख में हम ने देखा था प्रभु यीशु के मृतकों में से पुनरुत्थान के, समस्त सँसार के सभी लोगों के लिए, वे चाहे विश्वासी हों अथवा अविश्वासी, क्या निहितार्थ हैं; और क्यों प्रभु का पुनरुत्थान सभी के लिए “जाग उठने” की चेतावनी है कि अपने आप को आने वाले अन्तिम न्याय के लिए तैयार कर लें, जब उन्हें प्रभु का एक न्यायी के रूप में सामना करना होगा। पुनरुत्थान पर इस श्रृंखला के आरम्भ में हम ने कहा था कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में, 1 कुरिन्थियों 15 अध्याय, “पुनरुत्थान का अध्याय” है, और मसीही विश्वासी के लिए पुनरुत्थान से सम्बन्धित अधिकाँश शिक्षाएं वहीं पर दी गई हैं। आज से हम इसी अध्याय को देखना आरम्भ करेंगे, और देखेंगे कि परमेश्वर का वचन मसीही विश्वासियों को पुनरुत्थान और अनन्तकालीन सुरक्षा के बारे में क्या सिखाता है।
प्रेरित पौलुस ने पवित्र आत्मा के मार्गदर्शन में, इस अध्याय का आरम्भ सुसमाचार को दोहराने के साथ किया है, कि सुसमाचार पवित्र शास्त्र से है (1 कुरिन्थियों 15:1-4)। फिर वह उन्हें प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान के प्रमाण बता कर उस की पुष्टि करता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 15:5-10) – उन्हीं बातों के द्वारा जिन्हें हम पिछले लेखों में देख चुके हैं – प्रत्यक्षदर्शी बयान, बदले हुए जीवन, और जिन्होंने प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान को स्वीकार किया और उस में विश्वास किया है उन के जीवनों में प्रकट होने वाली प्रभु की सामर्थ्य के प्रमाण। इस के बाद, 1 कुरिन्थियों 15:11 में पौलुस कहता है कि प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान की इन्हीं पुष्टियों के कारण, प्रभु यीशु के अनुयायी, उस का प्रचार करते हैं, जिस पर उन्होंने विश्वास किया है, अर्थात सुसमाचार और प्रभु यीशु के पुनरुत्थान पर। इस प्रकार, यहाँ पर हमारे सामने सुसमाचार तथा प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान के एक प्रमाणित तथ्य होने का एक व्यावहारिक निहितार्थ रखा गया है – कि वे जिन्होंने इन्हें स्वीकार किया है, जो इन पर विश्वास करते हैं उन की यह ज़िम्मेदारी भी है कि इन के बारे में औरों को बताएँ और इन का प्रचार करें। दूसरे शब्दों में, सुसमाचार तथा प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान का प्रचार करना, एक ऐसी अनिवार्यता है जिस में प्रत्येक नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी को संलग्न रहना है।
अगला निहितार्थ 1 कुरिन्थियों 15:12-20 में मिलता है। इस खण्ड में, पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा, पौलुस पहले उस शिक्षा के निहितार्थों की एक रूपरेखा रखता है, जो शिक्षा यह कहती है कि प्रभु यीशु का पुनरुत्थान झूठा है। पौलुस प्रभु यीशु के पुनरुत्थान के पक्ष में अपने तर्क इस प्रकार से रखता है:
पद 12 – मसीह का पुनरुत्थान इस बात का प्रमाण है कि मृतकों का पुनरुत्थान है, और निश्चय ही वह होगा।
पद 13, 16 – यदि मृतकों का पुनरुत्थान नहीं है, तो फिर मसीह का पुनरुत्थान भी नहीं हुआ – जो अस्वीकार्य है, क्योंकि इस से पहले के खण्ड में उस के प्रमाण दिए जा चुके हैं। इस लिए मृतकों के पुनरुत्थान को अस्वीकार नहीं किया जा सकता है; उसे स्वीकार कर के उस के अनुसार कार्य करना ही होगा।
पद 14-15, 17 – मसीह का पुनरुत्थान मसीही विश्वास का आधार और उस की गारन्टी है। यदि पुनरुत्थान नहीं हुआ, तो फिर मसीही विश्वास व्यर्थ है, सुसमाचार और पुनरुत्थान का प्रचार व्यर्थ है, जो इस का प्रचार करते हैं फिर वे एक झूठे सिद्धान्त का प्रचार करते हैं, और जिन्होंने इस प्रचार को स्वीकार किया है उन के पाप क्षमा नहीं हुए हैं। तो फिर जिन्होंने सुसमाचार और प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान को स्वीकार किया है, वे अभी भी अपने पापों में हैं, इस लिए, उन का विश्वास करना व्यर्थ और निष्फल रहा है, तथा वे अभी भी सँसार के किसी भी अन्य व्यक्ति के समान ही हैं।
पद 18 – यदि मृतकों का पुनरुत्थान नहीं है, तो जिन्होंने प्रभु यीशु को अपना उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार किया है, वे भी, सँसार के किसी भी अन्य ऐसे व्यक्ति के समान जिस ने प्रभु यीशु पर विश्वास नहीं किया है, विनाश में ही जाएँगे।
पद 20 – पौलुस निष्कर्ष देता है कि निश्चय ही मसीह मृतकों में से जी उठा है, जैसे कि पहले के खण्ड में दिए गए प्रमाणों से पुष्टि होती है; मसीह का पुनरुत्थान एक प्रकार से पहला फल है – जो आने वाली बातों के स्वाद और स्वरूप को दिखाता है, और जो उस में विश्वास रखते हुए मर गए हैं, जैसे प्रभु महिमित देह में जिलाया गया था, वे भी, एक महिमित देह में जिलाए जाएंगे, और अनन्तकाल तक उस के साथ स्वर्ग में रहेंगे।
प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान में विश्वास करने या नहीं करने के निहितार्थों को दिखाने के बाद, पौलुस, पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए इस का व्यवहारिक, दैनिक जीवन से सम्बन्धित निहितार्थ पद 19 में बताता है – प्रभु यीशु का पुनरुत्थान पृथ्वी के, या भौतिक, अथवा शारीरिक नश्वर लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए नहीं है। हम इस पर अगले लेख में कुछ विस्तार से विचार करेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Resurrection of the Dead – 9
Resurrection’s Implications for the Believers – 1
In our study of the six elementary principles given in Hebrews 6:1-2, we are now studying the fifth one, i.e., “the Resurrection of the Dead.” Over the past few articles, we have been considering the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, since it is the basis of the Christian Faith. Because the Lord’s resurrection is pivotal for the Christian Faith, therefore Satan keeps attacking it, and trying to discredit it in one way or another, so that people do not believe in it and its benefits, and get misled about it. That is why, it is essential that every Christian Believer learn about the resurrection, and be able to counter the false stories that Satan spreads about it; and in these previous articles we have seen how Christian Believers can do this. In the last article, we saw the implications of the Lord’s resurrection from the dead for all people of the world, whether Believers or non-Believers; and why the Lord’s resurrection should serve as a “wake-up call” for everyone to get ready to face the Lord as Judge of mankind, for their final judgment. We had said at the beginning of this series on resurrection that in God’s Word the Bible, 1 Corinthians 15 is the “Resurrection chapter” and most of the teachings related to the resurrection for the Believers are given there. From today, we will start looking at this chapter and see what God’s Word teaches the Christian Believers about their resurrection and eternal security, and the implications of the Believer’s resurrection.
The Apostle Paul, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, begins this chapter by reiterating the gospel and it’s being according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). He then goes on to provide them affirmation of the fact of the Lord’s resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:5-10) – stating the things we have seen in the previous articles about eye-witness accounts, changed lives, and the power of God working in the lives of those who accept and believe in the Lord’s resurrection. And then, in 1 Corinthians 15:11 Paul says that because of these affirmations of the Lord’s resurrection, the followers of the Lord preach what they have believed in, i.e., the gospel and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. So, here we have a practical implication of the gospel and the Lord’s resurrection being a proven fact – that those who accept and believe in it, have the implied responsibility of preaching about it to others. In other words, preaching the gospel and the Lord’s resurrection is a necessity that every Born-Again Christian Believer should be involved in.
The next implication is seen in 1 Corinthians 15:12-20. In this section, through the Holy Spirit, Paul first outlines the implications of the preaching that the claims of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus are false. Paul argues the case for the Lord’s resurrection as follows:
V. 12 – Christ’s resurrection is proof that there is a resurrection of the dead; and it will happen.
V. 13, 16 – If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ too has not been resurrected – which is unacceptable, in light of the proofs of the Lord’s resurrection outlined in the preceding section. Therefore, the resurrection of the dead cannot be denied; it has to be accepted and acted upon.
V. 14-15, 17 – Christ’s resurrection is the basis and guarantee of the Christian Faith; if the resurrection did not happen, then the Christian Faith is vain, the preaching of the gospel and resurrection is vain, those who preach this preach a false doctrine, and there has been no forgiveness of sins for those who accepted this preaching. Therefore, those who have accepted the gospel and believed in the Lord’s resurrection, since they are still in their sins, their faith is futile and fruitless therefore, they are like any other person of the world.
V. 18 – If there is no resurrection of the dead, then those who have accepted the Lord Jesus as their savior, have perished, just as any other person of the world, who has not believed in the Lord Jesus has perished.
V. 20 – Paul concludes that Christ has indeed risen from the dead, as has been affirmed by the aforementioned proofs; His resurrection is the first-fruit – a taste of things to come, and those who have died in faith in Him, will be gloriously resurrected just as the Lord Jesus was resurrected, to be with Him forever.
Having shown the implications of believing and not believing in the Lord’s resurrection, Paul through the Holy Spirit gives its practical, day-to-day life implication for the Christian Believers in verse 19 – the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, is not something meant for earthly or physical and temporal benefits. We will consider this in some detail in the next article.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
