पाप के प्रभाव, प्रतिफल, और परिणाम – 3
इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई छठी आरम्भिक बात, “अंतिम न्याय” के हमारे अध्ययन में, हम पिछले लेख में एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दु पर पहुंचे थे, अदन की वाटिका में हुए उस पहले पाप के साथ, वहाँ पर और क्या कुछ हुआ था। यह बहुत आवश्यक है कि हम इसे और इसके निहितार्थों को समझें, क्योंकि पहले पाप के साथ और जो कुछ हुआ, उसी की समझ पर अन्तिम न्याय की, तथा उन पदों की समझ निर्भर करती है जो यह दिखाते हैं की परमेश्वर पाप क्षमा कर के पीठ के पीछे फेंक देता है और उन्हें भुला देता है। एक बार जब हम इस बात के बारे में स्पष्ट समझ लेंगे, तब फिर हम उसे भी समझने पाएँगे जो प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने हमारे लिए कलवरी के क्रूस पर किया, और फिर अन्तिम न्याय से सम्बन्धित कुछ अन्य पदों को देखने और समझने के द्वारा हम अन्तिम न्याय के हमारे विषय को भी समझने पाएँगे। तब, उसके आधार पर हम मसीही विश्वासियों को उनके प्रतिफल देने के लिए किये जाने वाले न्याय को भी समझ सकेंगे; तथा यह भी समझ सकेंगे कि परमेश्वर द्वारा पाप को क्षमा करके भुला देना, और उसके द्वारा मसीही विश्वासी के जीवन तथा मन की हर बात को खोलकर उसका न्याय करना, परस्पर विरोधाभासी नहीं हैं, वरन एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं।
हमने कल जो अदन की वाटिका में हुए पहले पाप – वर्जित फल को खाने के द्वारा परमेश्वर की अनाज्ञाकारिता करना, के साथ हुई बातों के बारे में देखा था, आज उन्हें दोहराते और उन से सीखते हैं। कल हमने देखा था कि पहले पाप के साथ, तीन और मुख्य बातें भी हुई थीं; जो उस समय से आज तक भी मानव जाति के साथ वैसी ही बनी हुई हैं, और जगत के अंत तक बनी रहेंगी। ये बातें हैं:
· परमेश्वर के साथ मनुष्य की संगति और सहभागिता टूट गई; तुरन्त ही वह और उसकी भावी पीढ़ियाँ मृत्यु – आत्मिक तथा शारीरिक मृत्यु, दोनों के लिए दोषी हो गए। आत्मिक मृत्यु, अर्थात परमेश्वर के साथ संगति और सहभागिता से अलग हो गए, और शारीरिक – उनका मर जाना तथा वापस मिट्टी में मिल जाना आरम्भ हो गया। साथ ही, आदम और हव्वा दोनों को अदन की वाटिका, परमेश्वर के साथ संगति करने के, भरपूरी और शान्ति के स्थान, से बाहर निकाल दिया गया, और यह निश्चित कर दिया गया कि अपने पापमय शरीर में वे फिर कभी वाटिका में प्रवेश नहीं करेंगे।
· मनुष्य को, आजीवन दुःख उठाने, परिश्रम करने, और समस्याओं का सामना करने की स्थिति में डाल दिया गया, उसकी मृत्यु हो जाने तक। परमेश्वर ने मनुष्य का तिरस्कार नहीं किया, उसे अकेला नहीं छोड़ दिया। परमेश्वर उसकी देखभाल करता रहा, उसके लिए प्रावधान करता रहा, उनके लिए भी जो उसका इनकार करते हैं और उसके अनाज्ञाकारी रहते हैं। समय-समय पर परमेश्वर मनुष्यों से या तो सीधे से, अथवा कुछ विशेष लोगों, परमेश्वर के नबियों में होकर बोलता रहा; लेकिन अदन की वाटिका वाली वह घनिष्ठता फिर बहाल नहीं हुई। नबी और परमेश्वर के अन्य जन, जिन में होकर परमेश्वर लोगों से बोलता था, जिन के द्वारा अपने वचन और मनुष्यों को अपने निर्देश देता था, वे भी इस दुःख, परिश्रम, और समस्याओं का सामना करने से बच नहीं सके, न ही यह उन के लिए हटाया गया या किसी भी रीति से कम किया गया; बल्कि बहुधा परमेश्वर के लिए उनकी सेवकाई के बदले उन्हें और भी अधिक दुःख और तकलीफों का सामना करना पड़ा। यह स्थिति आज भी देखी जाती है, जब उद्धार या नया-जन्म पा लेने के बावजूद, परमेश्वर की सन्तान बन जाने के बाद भी, परमेश्वर के साथ मेल-मिलाप हो जाने पर भी, प्रभु की कलीसिया और उसकी दुल्हन के अँग बनाए जाने पर भी, वास्तव में नया-जन्म पाए हुए सच्चे मसीही विश्वासियों को भी उसी सँसार के समान ही दुःख, परिश्रम, और समस्याओं भरे जीवन का सामना करना पड़ता है, और कभी-कभी तो बहुत अधिक करना पड़ता है। उनके उद्धार ने उन्हें उस पहले पाप के प्रभावों के इस पक्ष से छुटकारा नहीं दिया है। यह परिस्थिति तब ही बदलेगी जब प्रभु अपने लोगों को अपने पास एकत्रित कर लेने के लिए आएगा; और उस पल में, मसीही विश्वासी, चाहे जीवित हो अथवा मरे हुए, उनकी देह बदल कर महिमित आत्मिक देह बन जाएगी, और वे प्रभु के पास ऊपर उठा लिए जाएँगे। लेकिन जब तक यह नहीं हो जाता है, चाहे विश्वासी हों अथवा अविश्वासी, सभी को पहले पाप के साथ मिले दुःख, परिश्रम, और समस्याओं से होकर जाना ही होगा।
· तीसरा पक्ष है, एक महिमामय प्रतिज्ञा, ऐसी बातों की जो मानवीय शरीर के ग्रहण कर पाने की क्षमता से परे हैं – जो नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए तैयार करके स्वर्ग में रखी हुई हैं। परमेश्वर ने उद्धार या नया-जन्म पाई हुई अपनी सन्तानों के लिए ऐसी बातें रखी हैं जिनका वर्णन करना और उन्हें समझा पाना या समझ सकना मानवीय शरीर के बस का नहीं है। किसे क्या और कितना मिलेगा, उस पर निर्भर करेगा कि उसने, उद्धार पाने के बाद से, अपना मसीही जीवन किस प्रकार से व्यतीत किया, और अपने मन में क्या कुछ घर करके रखे रहा। इसी कारण से प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी की बारीकी से जाँच-पड़ताल और न्याय होना भी आवश्यक है, ताकि उन्हें जो उनके लिए बिल्कुल उपयुक्त है, वह मिल सके।
तो, पहला पाप के साथ मानव जाति के लिए मुख्यतः तीन बातें साथ में आईं – सबसे पहली – मृत्यु – आत्मिक और शारीरिक, दोनों प्रकार से; और जैसा हम देख चुके हैं, कलवरी के क्रूस पर प्रभु यीशु द्वारा दिए गए बलिदान में विश्वास करने के द्वारा उद्धार प्राप्त करना, मृत्यु की इस दशा को बहाली के लिए पलट दिया जाना है। दूसरी बात, आजीवन दुःख, परिश्रम, और तकलीफें; ये वो बातें हैं जो इस पापमय देह के साथ जुड़ी हुई हैं। ये परमेश्वर द्वारा प्रत्येक जन की देखभाल करने से भी नहीं जाती हैं, और न ही उद्धार पाने और पापों की क्षमा प्राप्त होने, तथा परमेश्वर की सन्तान बन जाने से हट जाती हैं। तीसरी बात है, परमेश्वर से मिला आश्वासन कि उसके सच में नया-जन्म पाई हुई सन्तानों के लिए, उसने कुछ अत्यन्त अद्भुत तैयार कर के रखा हुआ है; वह इतना विलक्षण है कि मानवीय समझ की क्षमताओं से बिल्कुल परे है। परमेश्वर अपने प्रत्येक विश्वासी को, जैसा मसीही जीवन उसने व्यतीत किया है, उस के आधार पर उसे सर्वथा उचित और उपयुक्त प्रतिफल देगा। जो परमेश्वर के लिए जीते और उसकी तथा उसके वचन की आज्ञाकारिता में कार्य करते हैं, उनके लिए स्वर्गीय प्रतिफलों वाला अनन्तकाल प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है।
अगले लेख में, एक उदाहरण के द्वार हम यह समझने का प्रयास करेंगे कि इन स्वर्गीय प्रतिफलों को देने के लिए, परमेश्वर को हर बात को खोलकर प्रकट कर देना क्यों आवश्यक है।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

The Effects, Results and Rewards of Sin - 3
In our study on “Eternal Judgment,” the sixth elementary principle given in Hebrews 6:1-2, from the last article we have come to a very important point, what all happened in the Garden of Eden, when the first sin was committed. It is very important that we understand this point and its implications, since on the understanding of what all happened with the first sin, depends the understanding of the eternal judgment and the understanding of the application of verses that show God forgives sin, throws it behind His back, and forgets it. Once we are clear about this, then we can see and understand what the Lord has done for us on the Cross of Calvary, and some other Bible verses related to the understanding of this topic of Eternal Judgment. Then on that basis we can understand God’s judgment of the Christian Believers to give them their rewards; and then it will become clear that God’s forgiving and forgetting sin does not contradict His judgment of everything that Believers have done and kept in their hearts, but it complements it.
Let us recapitulate and learn from what we saw yesterday about the things associated with the first sin committed in the Garden of Eden – disobeying God by eating the forbidden fruit. We saw yesterday that along with this first sin, three major things also happened; and since then, these have continued to be in mankind till date and will remain til the end of the world. These things are:
· Man’s fellowship with God was broken; he and his generations immediately came under the condemnation of death – both spiritual, i.e., separation from fellowship with God, and physical – they began to die and return to dust. So, death, spiritual and physical was the first and immediate effect of the sin. Also, Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden, the place of fullness, peace, and fellowship with God; and it was made sure that now in their sinful physical bodies, they never enter the Garden again.
· Man, as long as he lived, was placed under lifelong pain, toil, problems, all in various forms and intensity, till his death. God did not give up on man or abandon him. God continued to take care of him, help him, provide for him, even for those who rejected Him, did not believe or obey Him. At times God even spoke to people directly, or through some special people, the prophets of God; but that close fellowship of the Garden of Eden was not restored. The prophets and people of God, through whom God spoke and gave His Word and instructions to man, even they did not escape this toil and pain effect of sin, nor was it taken away from them, not even reduced in any manner for them; rather they seemed to suffer even more than others in their ministry for the Lord God. This situation is seen even today, when despite being Born-Again and saved, despite becoming the children of God, members of His family, despite being part of the Church of God and the Bride of the Lord Jesus, despite being reconciled with God, still even the truly Born-Again and saved Christian Believers continue to face toil, pain, sickness, problems in this world, and at times even quite severely. Their salvation has not relieved them of this aspect of the effects of the first sin. This situation will only change when the Lord returns to gather His people to Himself; and at that moment, in an instant, all Believers, whether dead or alive, will be transformed into their glorious spiritual bodies, and will be caught up to be with the Lord. But till that happens, whether Believers or non-Believers, everyone will continue to suffer the toil and pain that came into mankind with the first sin.
· The third aspect is the glorious promise, beyond the capabilities of comprehension of the human bodies – what awaits the Born-Again Believers in heaven. God has prepared for His people, His children, things that are beyond human ability to describe and understand; and when the Believers reach heaven, God will give them what He has prepared for them. Who will get what and how much will depend upon how he has lived his Christian life and what all has he given a place in his heart, since his salvation. Hence the necessity of the Believers being thoroughly evaluated, to give them so that they actually get what they ought to get.
So, essentially, the first sin brought in three things for mankind – firstly death – both spiritual and physical; and as we have seen, salvation, through faith in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary, is the reversal of this state of death, for restoration. Secondly lifelong toil, pain, and misery; something that is tied to this sinful body. They are not eliminated despite the care given by God to every person, nor even with salvation, forgiveness of sins, and becoming children of God. Thirdly, an assurance from God that for His truly Born-Again children, He has kept ready something so marvelous, that it is beyond human capacity and capabilities of understanding. God will give every Believer his fair and just reward for the Christian life he has lived since salvation. An eternity of heavenly rewards awaits those who live and work for God, in obedience to Him and His Word.
We will try to understand the necessity of God laying open everything about every Believer for giving them their heavenly rewards, through an illustration, in the next article.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
