विश्वासियों के लिए पुनरुत्थान के निहितार्थ – 6
बाइबल का, पुनरुत्थान का अध्याय, 1 कुरिन्थियों 15, हमारे सामने मसीही विश्वासियों के पुनरुत्थान, जो इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई आरम्भिक बातों में से पाँचवीं है, से सम्बन्धित विभिन्न तथ्यों और शिक्षाओं को रखता है। हम इस पाँचवीं आरम्भिक बात के बारे में पुनरुत्थान के इस अध्याय से सीखते आ रहे हैं, और पिछले लेख में हम ने 1 कुरिन्थियों 15:35-50 से पुनरुत्थान हुई देह के गुणों, तथा उस के निहितार्थों के बारे में सीखा था, और इस तथ्य के, कि पुनरुत्थान का तथ्य मसीही विश्वासियों के सामने पवित्रता का जीवन जीने की अनिवार्यता को रखता है; ऐसा जीवन जो उन परिवर्तनों के अनुरूप है जो परमेश्वर ने उन में, उन के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु को अपना उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार करने के समय में किए हैं, और उस पवित्र जीवन के अनुरूप हैं जो वे अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्ग में प्रभु के साथ रहते हुए जीएँगे। आज हम इस अध्याय के अन्तिम भाग, पद 51 से 58 को देखेंगे।
इस सँसार में, किसी भी समय पर हमेशा ही मसीही विश्वासी होते हैं और रहेंगे, जो या तो अभी वर्तमान में जीवित हैं, या मर गए हैं। यहाँ पद 51 और 52 में पौलुस मसीही विश्वासियों के सामने एक तथ्य को रख रहा है कि प्रभु जब अपने लोगों को, वे चाहे मृतक हों अथवा जीवित, को लेने आएगा, कि इस सँसार में से निकल कर अनन्तकाल तक वे उस के साथ रहें, उस पल एक परिवर्तन होगा। यह परिवर्तन क्षण भर में, इस से पहले कि सँसार को कुछ पता चले कि कुछ हो रहा है, पूरा भी हो जाएगा – मृतक विश्वासी अविनाशी देह में उठा लिए जाएँगे, और जो जीवित विश्वासी हैं वे परिवर्तित हो कर सँसार में से उठा लिए जाएँगे। और उस पल से ही प्रभु के सभी लोग एक समान महिमित और अविनाशी देह में आ जाएँगे, उस पुनरुत्थान हुई देह में जिस के गुण हम ने पिछले भाग और लेख में देखे हैं। पाप के कारण आया हुआ बिगाड़ और नाश उतार फेंका जाएगा, और वे जिन के पाप प्रभु यीशु को उद्धारकर्ता और प्रभु ग्रहण करने के कारण क्षमा हो गए हैं, वे सभी जन एक अविनाशी, कभी न बिगड़ने वाली, आत्मिक देह में आ जाएँगे, जो प्रभु की पुनरुत्थान के बाद की देह के समान महिमित और स्वर्गीय होगी।
फिर, पद 53 और 54 में, पौलुस इस बात पर बल देता है कि यह परिवर्तन अनिवार्य है, इस के लिए कोई अपवाद नहीं हो सकता है, नाशमान से अविनाशी का यह परिवर्तन होना ही है, और निश्चय ही होगा। यह किसी की इच्छा के अनुसार नहीं है, बल्कि यह परमेश्वर द्वारा निर्धारित किया गया है। स्वर्ग में प्रवेश से पहले, पाप से सम्बन्धित प्रत्येक बात हटाई जानी है; इसीलिए नश्वर अविनाशी हो जाएगा, और बिगाड़ा जा सकने वाला कभी न बिगड़ने वाला बन जाएगा। यह परमेश्वर के द्वारा किया जाएगा, किसी मनुष्य अथवा मनुष्य के किसी प्रयास के द्वारा नहीं; परमेश्वर, वास्तव में नया जन्म पाए हुए प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को, उन के लिए उस के द्वारा निर्धारित की हुई देह (पद 38) देगा। साथ ही इस बात का भी ध्यान कीजिए कि विश्वासियों के लिए उस देह में किसी भी प्रकार की किसी भिन्नता का कोई उल्लेख नहीं है – सभी को वही एक ही समान गुणों वाली देह दी जाएगी, जिस देह के वैसे ही गुण हैं जो प्रभु यीशु की पुनरुत्थान हुई देह के हैं। यह सभी को समान स्थिति में लाने वाली एक बड़ी बात होगी – वहाँ पर जो भी होगा, वह केवल परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह और पापों की क्षमा के कारण होगा, न कि उन की किसी व्यक्तिगत योग्यता, गुणों, या कर्मों के कारण। इस नाशमान पाप में देह से संबंधित हर बात हटा दी जाएगी, और परमेश्वर के लोग, उन्हें परमेश्वर द्वारा दी गई अविनाशी आत्मिक देह में परिवर्तित हो जाएँगे। क्योंकि यह परिवर्तित देह अविनाशी और अनन्तकालीन होगी, इस लिए जैसा पौलुस पद 55 से 57 में कहता है, अब विश्वासी पर मृत्यु का कोई वश नहीं रहेगा, सभी विश्वासी पाप और मृत्यु पर प्रभु यीशु के कलवरी के क्रूस पर किए गए कार्य के द्वारा, अर्थात, प्रभु के सारे सँसार के सभी लोगों के पापों के लिए दिए गए बलिदान के द्वारा पाप और मृत्यु पर विजयी होंगे।
फिर पद 58 “सो हे मेरे प्रिय भाइयो, दृढ़ और अटल रहो, और प्रभु के काम में सर्वदा बढ़ते जाओ, क्योंकि यह जानते हो, कि तुम्हारा परिश्रम प्रभु में व्यर्थ नहीं है” में हमें मसीही विश्वासियों के इस अवश्यंभावी परिवर्तन का निहितार्थ दिया गया है। विश्वासियों का अवश्यंभावी पुनरुत्थान प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी के लिए यह अनिवार्य करता है कि वह न केवल प्रभु के काम से जुड़ा हुआ हो, बल्कि, जैसा यहाँ पर निर्देश दिया गया है, उसे प्रभु के काम में सर्वदा बढ़ते जाना है। सामान्यतः मसीही विश्वासी अपने उद्धार और प्रभु के काम के प्रति तीन प्रकार के रवैये दिखाते हैं। अधिकाँश “आराम करने” का रवैया रखते हैं – व बचाए गए हैं, और उन का उद्धार कभी पलटेगा नहीं, कभी वापस नहीं लिया जाएगा, इस लिए वे सोचते हैं कि अब उन्हें और कुछ करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है; वे बस आराम से या तो प्रभु के, नहीं तो मृत्यु के आने की, और उस के बाद पुनरुत्थान होने की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं। नया-जन्म पाए हुए विश्वासी होने के बावजूद, उनकी प्रतिबद्धता, समय लगाना, प्रयास करना, और अपनी सामर्थ्य का उपयोग करना, नाशमान साँसारिक वस्तुओं और उपलब्धियों के लिए अधिक होता है, बजाए प्रभु और उस के राज्य के लिए; अर्थात, वे उसी में लगे रहते हैं, उस के लिए प्रयास करते हैं जो यहीं छूट जाएगा, नाश हो जाएगा, जिस का कोई प्रतिफल नहीं मिलेगा; जब कि प्रभु और उस के राज्य के लिए इतना कुछ करने के लिए है। एक अन्य तरह के विश्वासी प्रभु के लिए कुछ करने की आवश्यकता को अनुभव तो करते हैं, और थोड़ा-बहुत कुछ करते भी हैं, लेकिन यह उनके द्वारा अपने विवेक को शान्त करने, कुछ औपचारिकताएं पूरी करने, या लोगों को यह दिखाने के लिए होता है कि वे प्रभु के लिए भी कुछ कर रहे हैं। लेकिन फिर भी उन की पहली प्राथमिकता प्रभु और प्रभु का काम नहीं, सँसार और सांसारिक बातें और लाभ ही होते हैं। या, फिर उन्होंने मसीही सेवकाई में कुछ ऐसे कठोर और कड़वे अनुभव सहे हैं कि अब निराश हो कर वे और कुछ नहीं करना चाहते हैं। तीसरे प्रकार के वे विश्वासी हैं, जो चाहे सँख्या में थोड़े हैं, परन्तु जिन की प्राथमिकता प्रभु और प्रभु का काम है, और चाहे कोई भी परिस्थिति हो, वे प्रभु के काम में लगे रहते हैं। यह पद सभी तरह के मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए पुनरुत्थान का एक ही निहितार्थ सामने रखता है – “दृढ़ और अटल रहो, और प्रभु के काम में सर्वदा बढ़ते जाओ;” वे परिस्थितियों से कभी न घबराएं, न निराश हों, क्योंकि यह परमेश्वर का आश्वासन है कि “तुम्हारा परिश्रम प्रभु में व्यर्थ नहीं है।” प्रभु हर एक बात का हिसाब रख रहा है, और हर विश्वासी को उस के जीवन और कार्यों का उपयुक्त एवं उचित प्रतिफल देगा (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। मसीही विश्वासियों का पुनरुत्थान विश्वासियों के सामने “दृढ़ और अटल रहो, और प्रभु के काम में सर्वदा बढ़ते जाओ” की अनिवार्यता को रखता है।
अगले लेख से हम इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई छठी आरंभिक बात, अर्थात, अन्तिम न्याय पर विचार आरंभ करेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Resurrection of the Dead – 14
Resurrection’s Implications for the Believers – 6
The resurrection chapter of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 15 puts before us various facts and teachings related to the resurrection of the Christian Believers, the fifth of the six elementary principles given in Hebrews 6:1-2. We have been learning about this fifth elementary principle from the resurrection chapter, and in the last article we have seen from 1 Corinthians 15:35-50 about the characteristics of the resurrected body and then its implication, that the fact of the resurrection of the Christian Believers places before them the necessity of holy living, in conformity with the changes God has brought in them on their coming to faith in the Lord Jesus as their savior, and in preparation for the holy life they will be living for eternity in heaven with the Lord. Today we will consider the final section of this chapter, i.e., from verse 51 to 58.
At any given moment of time, in this world, there always are and always will be the Christian Believers that are alive and those that have died. In verses 51 and 52 Paul is placing before the Christian Believers a fact that at the coming of the Lord, to gather His people, whether deceased or living, out of this world and take them away to be with Him for eternity, a change will happen. This change will be instantaneous, even before the world realizes what is happening, it would have happened – the dead will be raised incorruptible, and the living will be changed and taken away from the world. So, from that moment onwards, all of Lord’s people will be in the same glorious incorruptible state, in the resurrected body whose characteristics have been described in the preceding section and the last article. The corruption brought by sin will be cast away, and those whose sins have been forgiven through accepting the Lord Jesus as their savior and Lord, will be transformed into an incorruptible, imperishable, eternal, spiritual body which will be glorious and heavenly, similar to the resurrected body of the Lord Jesus.
Then in verses 53 and 54 Paul emphasizes that this transformation is mandatory, there can be no exception, this conversion from corruptible to incorruptible has to happen, and will happen. It is not by anyone’s choice, rather, it is God ordained. Before entering heaven, everything related to sin has to be cast away; therefore, the mortal will become immortal and the corruptible will become incorruptible. This will be done by God, not by any person, nor through the efforts of any person; God will give every truly Born-Again Christian Believer the body He has decided for them (vs. 38). Also note that there is no differentiation of any kind mentioned for the Believers – everyone, whatever be their state of spiritual maturity, ministry, and service the Lord – everyone will get a body with the same characteristics – the characteristics of the Lord Jesus’s body. This will be a great leveler – everyone who is there, will be there because of the grace and forgiveness of God of their sins, and not by any personal qualifications, merit, or deeds of any kind. Everything related to this corruptible and sinful human body will be put away, and God’s people will be changed into the God given incorruptible spiritual body. Since this transformed body will be imperishable and eternal, therefore, as Paul says in verses 55 to 57 death will no longer have any hold on the Believer, and all Believers will be victorious over sin and death through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for the sins of all of mankind, on the Cross of Calvary for the salvation of the world.
Then verse 58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” gives to us the implication of this impending transformation of the Christian Believers. The inevitable resurrection of the Believers makes it necessary for every Christian Believer to not just be engaged, but, as it instructs here, to be abounding in the work of the Lord. Generally, the Believers show three kinds of attitudes towards their salvation and the work of the Lord they are to be doing because of being saved. Most take a “laid-back” attitude – they have been saved and it is irrevocable and will never be taken away, so now they do not need to do anything; they can simply take it easy, sit back and wait for either the Lord or death to come, and then for the resurrection to happen. Even as Born-Again Believers, they have more commitment, time, efforts, and energy for the things, works, and gains of the perishing world, i.e., for that which will all be left behind, for that which will get them no rewards; than for the Lord and His Kingdom – where so much still remains to be done. Another category of Believers feels somewhat obliged to work for the Lord, and do some things, more to ease their conscience, and fulfill some formalities or work to show to others that they are doing something for the Lord. Their first priority is still the world and the physical gains in this world, rather than the Lord and the work of the Lord. Or, they have been discouraged by the bitter and tough experiences in Christian ministry, and have given up on putting any worthwhile efforts into it. The third kind, few in number, are those whose first priority in life is working for the Lord, and they do whatever they can for the sake of the Lord, undaunted by anything that comes in the way. This verse is setting forth the implication of resurrection for all believers – every Believer has to “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” and never be discouraged by any circumstances, since it is the Lord’s assurance that their “labor is not in vain in the Lord.” God is keeping an account of everything, and everyone will be suitably rewarded for their life and works as a Believer (2 Corinthians 5:10). The resurrection of the Believers brings before the Believers the necessity of being “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”
From the next article we will start considering the sixth elementary principle given in Hebrews 6:1-2, i.e., eternal judgment.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
