पवित्र आत्मा से सीखना – 13
प्रत्येक नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी ने, परमेश्वर से अन्य सँसाधनों के साथ, परमेश्वर का पवित्र आत्मा भी प्राप्त किया है; जो उसे उसके उद्धार पाने के पल ही दे दिया जाता है। पवित्र आत्मा उस में उसका सहायक, साथी, शिक्षक, और मार्गदर्शक बनकर हमेशा निवास करता है, कि मसीही जीवन जीने और परमेश्वर द्वारा उसे सौंपी गई सेवकाई का निर्वाह करने में सहायता और मार्गदर्शन सके। उसका शिक्षक होने के नाते, पवित्र आत्मा विश्वासियों को परमेश्वर का वचन भी सिखाता है, यदि वे उस से सीखने के लिए तैयार हों, बजाए मनुष्यों से सीखने वाले होने के। परमेश्वर के विभिन्न सँसाधनों के भण्डारी होने के नाते, विश्वासियों को पवित्र आत्मा का भी योग्य भण्डारी होने की आवश्यकता है, उस से सीखने और उसकी सेवाओं तथा सामर्थ्य का बाइबल के अनुसार उचित उपयोग करने के द्वारा। हमने पिछले लेखों में विश्वासियों द्वारा पवित्र आत्मा से परमेश्वर का वचन न सीखने के कारणों को देखा है। और, अब हम देख रहे हैं कि कैसे विश्वासी उस से परमेश्वर का वचन बाइबल सीख सकते हैं। वर्तमान में हम यह 1 पतरस 2:1-2 से सीख रहे हैं, और हमने इस पद से देखा है कि मसीही विश्वासी में सीखने की एक वास्तविक लालसा होनी चाहिए, और कुछ भी नहीं, बल्कि केवल परमेश्वर का निर्मल वचन सीखने की। पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि शैतान किस प्रकार से परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करवाता है, और फिर उस मिलावट वाले या मलिन वचन को परमेश्वर के सत्य के समान प्रस्तुत करवाता है। वह यह काम अपने लोगों के द्वारा जान-बूझकर, तथा परमेश्वर के समर्पित विश्वासियों द्वारा अनजाने में करवा देता है, और ये विश्वासी यही सोचते रहते हैं कि वे परमेश्वर की सेवा कर रहे हैं, उसके वचन का प्रसार कर रहे हैं, जबकि वास्तव में वे मिलावट किये हुए वचन को परमेश्वर के सत्य के समान प्रचार कर रहे और सिखा रहे होते हैं।
हमने पिछले लेख में देखा था कि समर्पित मसीही विश्वासी किसी भी प्रकार के घमण्ड में पड़ने, उसे मिलने वाली प्रशंसा में बहक जाने, बाइबल की बातों के प्रति लापरवाह हो जाने, या अपने आत्मिक जीवन के प्रति निश्चिंत होकर बातों को हलके में लेने के प्रवृत्ति में पड़ने, आदि के द्वारा गलतियों में डाला जा सकता है। कहीं पर भी, कभी भी, कोई भी कमजोरी, और शैतान अवसर को नहीं चूकता है, उसमें चुपके से चला आता है और उसके जीवन में गलत धारणाओं के बीज बो देता है। फिर, कुछ समय के बाद, और उपयुक्त अवसर पर उन बीजों की फसल, उस निश्चिंत विश्वासी के द्वारा, उसके प्रचार और शिक्षाओं के माध्यम से, औरों के जीवनों में भी बो दी जाती है। सारे समय वह विश्वासी और अन्य लोग यही समझते और मानते रहते हैं कि वे परमेश्वर की सेवा कर रहे हैं और परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रचार कर रहे हैं सही वचन को ही सिखा रहे हैं; जब कि वास्तव में वे बहकाए और भरमाए गए हैं, बाइबल की बातों को बाइबल से हटकर बता और सिखा रहे हैं, और परमेश्वर के सत्य के नाम पर झूठी शिक्षाओं पर स्वयं भी विश्वास कर रहे हैं, उन्हें ही का प्रचार कर रहे हैं और सिखा रहे हैं।
एक बार मसीही विश्वासी, किसी भी कारण से, जैसे कि, वरियता, अनुभव, वर्षों से परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रचार करने और सिखाने, अथवा ऊपर के परिच्छेद में दी गई बातों में से किसी बात के कारण ज़रा सा भी लापरवाह हो जाता है, इस बात पर भरोसा करने लगता है कि उसकी सोच और समझ हमेशा सही और बाइबल के अनुसार ही होते हैं, अपने आप को कभी गलती न करने वाला समझने लगता है, आदि, तो वह अपने आप को शैतान द्वारा बहकाए और भरमाए जाने के लिए खोल देता है। परमेश्वर के वचन में शैतान द्वारा मसीही विश्वासी में होकर लाई गई मिलावट, दो मूलभूत प्रकार की होती है – पहली है व्यक्ति द्वारा परमेश्वर के वचन में अपनी बुद्धि और समझ को मिलाना (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:17-18); और दूसरी अपने ही विचारों और व्याख्याओं को उसमें डालने के द्वारा परमेश्वर के वचन को और अधिक आकर्षक, मनोहर, और अधिक सामर्थी प्रतीत होने वाला दिखाने का प्रयास करना (निर्गमन 20:24-25)।
हम जानते हैं कि परमेश्वर का सम्पूर्ण वचन, वाचा किये गए मसीहा, प्रभु यीशु मसीह के, उसके सुसमाचार के बारे में है (लूका 24:27; यूहन्ना 5:39, 46); और “मसीह का क्रूस” सुसमाचार संदेश का केंद्र बिन्दु है। सुसमाचार प्रचार, प्रभु यीशु का प्रचार क्रूस के संदेश के द्वारा सामर्थी या प्रभावी होता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:18; इसके बारे में और देखने के लिए 2 अध्याय भी देखिए)। पौलुस ने 1 कुरिन्थियों 1:17 में कहा कि उसका प्रचार करना “शब्दों के ज्ञान के अनुसार नहीं” था; और उसके यह करने का कारण था, “ऐसा न हो कि मसीह का क्रूस व्यर्थ ठहरे।” तात्पर्य यह कि सुसमाचार प्रचार करने तथा लोगों द्वारा उसे ग्रहण करवाने के लिए न तो उसने मानवीय तर्क और समझ-बूझ का सहारा लिया, और न ही कोई वाक्पटुता दिखाई; न तो सुसमाचार को समझाने, और न ही उसे और अधिक आकर्षक या मनोहर एवं तर्कपूर्ण दिखाने के लिए। परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा पौलुस यहाँ पर स्पष्ट कहता है कि सुसमाचार को और अधिक बढ़ा-चढ़ा कर कहना, उसमें मानवीय बुद्धि की बातें डालने के द्वारा उसे और अधिक आकर्षक और तर्कपूर्ण बनाकर दिखाना, केवल परमेश्वर के वचन की सामर्थ्य को व्यर्थ ही करता है। पौलुस यह स्पष्ट कर देता है कि सुसमाचार में, परमेश्वर के वचन में, मानवीय बुद्धि की बातें मिलाना, और परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रचार और शिक्षा उसमें मनुष्यों का वचन मिला कर करने के द्वारा चाहे वह बहुत आकर्षक और मनोहर लगे, हो सकता है कि उसकी बहुत सराहना एवं प्रशंसा भी की जाए, लेकिन वह कभी उस बात को नहीं करेगा जो परमेश्वर का वचन, जो सुसमाचार करता है – आत्माओं को बचाना। परमेश्वर का आत्मा, बाइबल के अनुसार प्रचार किये गए सीधे और खरे वचन के द्वारा लोगों को उनके पापों के लिए कायल करता है और उन्हें मसीह में विश्वास करने पर ले कर आता है। यह प्रचारक की शब्दों के साथ निपुणता के कारण नहीं होता है।
पौलुस के उपरोक्त कथन नए नियम में, पुराने नियम के एक तथ्य की पुष्टि हैं, जो निर्गमन 20:24-25 में दिया गया है। परमेश्वर ने अपने लोगों, इस्राएलियों को, निर्देश दिए थे कि परमेश्वर को भेंट और बलिदान चढ़ाने के लिए वेदी बनाते समय वे केवल उसी सामग्री का, और केवल उसके स्वाभाविक या प्राकृतिक स्वरूप में ही उस में उपयोग करें, जो उस ने उन्हें उपलब्ध करवाई थी। परमेश्वर द्वारा उपलब्ध करवाई गई सामग्री को मानवीय प्रयासों के द्वारा और अधिक सुन्दर या आकर्षक बनाने का प्रयास करना उसे अशुद्ध कर देगा, परमेश्वर को कुछ भी अर्पित कर पाने के अयोग्य कर देगा। जिस प्रकार से तब इस्राएलियों के लिए मिट्टी और पत्थर वेदी बनाने की सामग्री थे, वैसे ही आज, परमेश्वर के पास आने और उसे अपनी भेंटें चढ़ाने – सुसमाचार प्रचार के सेवकाई की भेंट तथा उद्धार पाई हुई आत्माओं के समर्पण की भेंटों के लिए भी, मसीही विश्वासियों की सामग्री, उनका परमेश्वर के पास आने का आधार, परमेश्वर का वचन है। जिस प्रकार से परमेश्वर द्वारा यह बल देकर मना किया गया था कि उन प्राकृतिक वस्तुओं में कोई परिवर्तन न किया जाए, चाहे वह उन्हें और अधिक सुन्दर एवं आकर्षक बनाने के लिए ही क्यों न हो, उसी प्रकार से आज भी परमेश्वर के वचन में कोई भी परिवर्तन नहीं किया जाना है।
परमेश्वर का वचन सिद्ध है और हमेशा के लिए स्वर्ग में स्थापित है (भजन 119:89, 160); और उसमें कोई भी परिवर्तन नहीं किया जा सकता है, और नाशमान, गलती करने वाले, असिद्ध मनुष्यों के द्वारा तो कदापि नहीं। इसलिए परमेश्वर के वचन के सभी प्रचारकों और शिक्षकों को बहुत सावधान रहना है कि वे उस में किसी भी प्रकार का कोई भी परिवर्तन नहीं करें; न तो उसमें कुछ जोड़ें, और न ही उसमें से कुछ हटाएँ। अगले लेख में हम देखेंगे कि किस प्रकार से समर्पित विश्वासियों को यह जाँचते-परखते रहना है कि कहीं वे किसी शैतानी युक्ति का शिकार तो नहीं हो गए हैं और कहीं परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट तो नहीं करने लगे हैं।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Learning from the Holy Spirit – 13
Every Born-Again Christian Believer, along with other provisions from God, has also received God’s Holy Spirit; given to him at the moment of his salvation. The Holy Spirit resides in him as his Helper, Companion, Teacher, and Guide for living his Christian life and fulfilling his God given ministry. As his Teacher, the Holy Spirit teaches God’s Word to the Believers, if they are willing to learn from Him, instead of going after learning from men. As stewards of God’s various provisions, the Believers are also to be worthy stewards of the Holy Spirit by learning from Him and utilizing His power and services properly, in the intended Biblical manner. We have seen in the preceding articles the various reasons why Believers do not learn God’s Word from the Holy Spirit; and are now seeing how the Believers can learn God’s Word, the Bible from Him. Presently we are learning this from 1 Peter 2:1-2, and we have seen from this verse that the Believer must have a sincere desire to learn, and to learn not just anything but only the pure Word of God. In the previous article we have seen how Satan causes God’s Word to be adulterated, and then has the adulterated or impure Word presented as God’s truth, both by his own agents who deliberately do this; as well as by God’s committed Believers, who do this unknowingly, all the while believing they are serving God and propagating His Word, while actually preaching and teaching the adulterated word as God’s truth.
We had seen in the last article that the committed Christian Believer, can be misled into adulterating God’s Word either due to pride, or complacency about Biblical things, or by getting carried away by the adulation he receives, or by taking things for granted in his spiritual life, etc. Any weakness, anywhere, at any time, and Satan does not miss the opportunity of subtly creeping in and sowing the seeds of erroneous beliefs in that Believer’s life. Then, after sometime and in an appropriate season, the fruits of those seeds are transferred by that unsuspecting child of God into other’s lives as well through his preaching and teachings. All the time he and others keep thinking and believing that they are serving God, are preaching, and teaching God’s Word; but actually, they have been beguiled into believing, preaching, and teaching false things, Biblical truths preached and taught in an unBiblical manner, as God’s truth.
Once, the Christian Believer, due to whatever reasons, e.g., seniority, experience, knowledge, years of preaching and teaching God’s Word, or anything mentioned in the above paragraph, develops a tendency to be casual, to trust and rely upon his own thinking and understanding always being correct and Biblical, his always being infallible, he has laid himself open to being beguiled by Satan. This satanic corruption of God’s Word through a committed Christian Believer, occurs in two basic manners – one is using one’s wisdom in preaching and presenting God’s Word (1 Corinthians 1:17-18); and second is trying to make God’s Word more attractive, appealing, and seemingly powerful through adding one’s own interpretations and thoughts to it (Exodus 20:24-25).
We know that the whole of God’s Word is about the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 24:27; John 5:39, 46), the promised Messiah; and “the Cross of Christ” is central to the gospel message. The gospel, the preaching of the Lord Jesus, is made powerful or effective because of the message of the Cross (1 Corinthians 1:18; also see chapter 2 for more on this). Paul says in 1 Corinthians 1:17 that he preached ‘not with wisdom of words’, and his reason was, ‘lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.’ Implying that in preaching the gospel he neither resorted to human logic and reasoning, nor was he verbose, either to explain the gospel, or to make it sound appealing and logical, for others to accept it. Through God the Holy Spirit, Pauls clearly says here that by trying to enhance the gospel, make it sound more appealing and logical by adding human wisdom to it, only takes away the efficacy of God’s Word. Paul makes it clear, adding human wisdom to the gospel, to God’s Word, preaching and teaching God’s Word mixed with words of human wisdom and may sound like a very appealing and attractive, may even be appreciated, and applauded, but will never do what God’s Word, what the gospel is meant to do – save souls. It is the Spirit of God who uses the simple straightforward Biblical message to convict people of their sins and bring them to faith in Christ Jesus, and not the preacher’s ability with words.
Paul’s above statements are a New Testament attestation of an Old Testament truth, stated in Exodus 20:24-25. God had instructed Israelites, the people of God, that in building altars to offer sacrifices and offerings to God, they should only use what He has provided, and use it only in its natural form. Any human attempts at trying to make the God provided material more beautiful or attractive, will only render it profane, and unfit to be used as an altar for offering anything to God. Like the earth and stones were materials meant for constructing the altars for the Israelites at that time, today, for the Christian Believers, God’s Word is the basis of approaching God and offering our gifts to God – even the gifts of serving Him through sharing the gospel and bringing the saved souls to Him. Just as it was categorically forbidden by God to alter those natural materials, even if it were to make them appear more beautiful or attractive, in any manner; similarly, God’s Word is not to be altered in any manner today.
God’s Word is perfect, forever settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89, 160); and cannot be altered or improved in any manner, least of all by perishable, fallible, imperfect men. Therefore, the Believers, the preachers and teachers handling God’s Word, must be very careful to not alter it in any manner; neither add to it, nor take away from it in any manner. In the next article we will see how the committed Believers are to keep evaluating that they have not somehow fallen for any satanic tricks and have gone into adulterating God’s Word.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
