आत्मिक वरदानों के प्रयोगकर्ता - उपकार करने वाले - क्यूँ और कैसे
हमने पिछले लेख में मसीही विश्वासियों की मण्डली में उपकार या सहायता करने के आत्मिक वरदान की आवश्यकता के बारे में देखा था। बाइबल हमें बताती है कि मसीही विश्वासी और परमेश्वर के जन, और परमेश्वर के नबी भी सुख-दुख की परिस्थितियों से निकलते हैं, और सभी को सहायता की आवश्यकता होती है। ऐसे में परमेश्वर के जन ही एक-दूसरे के सबसे अच्छे सहायक हो सकते हैं। कभी-कभी जो मित्र सहायता तथा सांत्वना देने के लिए आते हैं, वे ही दुख और अधिक बढ़ाने लग जाते हैं, जैसे कि अय्यूब के साथ हुआ था। अय्यूब पर आई भयानक और हृदय विदारक त्रासदियों, उसके सभी बच्चों के मारे जाने, उसका सब कुछ लुट जाने, और उसका शरीर घावों से भर जाने का समाचार सुनकर, अय्यूब के मित्र उसके पास उसे सांत्वना और ढाढ़स देने के लिए आए थे, किन्तु उसकी दशा देखकर वे आप ही रो पड़े, विलाप करने लगे, और उनमें से कोई भी सात दिन तक अय्यूब से कुछ बोल नहीं सका (अय्यूब 2:11-13)। उसके बाद जब उन्होंने अय्यूब से बात करनी आरंभ की, तो उसे ही किसी पाप का दोषी ठहराने लगे जिसके कारण उस पर यह सभी त्रासदियाँ आईं। अय्यूब उनके सामने अपने निर्दोष होने की बात कहता रहा, परन्तु वे उस पर दोषारोपण करते ही रहे। अन्ततः, उनकी बातों से तंग आकर, अय्यूब, उसे सांत्वना देने आए हुए अपने उन मित्रों से कहता है, “ऐसी बहुत सी बातें मैं सुन चुका हूँ, तुम सब के सब निकम्मे शान्तिदाता हो। क्या व्यर्थ बातों का अन्त कभी होगा?” (अय्यूब 16:2)। और इस पुस्तक के अंत में हम देखते हैं कि परमेश्वर भी उनके इस दोषारोपण से प्रसन्न नहीं था, जबकि वे मित्र परमेश्वर को सही और अय्यूब को गलत प्रमाणित करना चाह रहे थे (अय्यूब 42:7); अय्यूब ने जब अपने मित्रों के लिए होमबलि चढ़ाकर उनके पक्ष में परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना की, तब ही उन्हें परमेश्वर से क्षमा प्राप्त हुई (अय्यूब 42:8-9)।
परमेश्वर का वचन हमें सिखाता है कि हम परमेश्वर से ही बुद्धिमत्ता और सही शब्द माँगकर, तब ही उपकार और सहायता की सेवकाई को करें, जैसे कि यशायाह कहता है, “प्रभु यहोवा ने मुझे सीखने वालों की जीभ दी है कि मैं थके हुए को अपने वचन के द्वारा संभालना जानूं। भोर को वह नित मुझे जगाता और मेरा कान खोलता है कि मैं शिष्य के समान सुनूं” (यशायाह 50:4)। प्रभु यीशु मसीह के लिए भी वचन में आया है कि लोग उसकी बातों को सराहते थे, क्योंकि वे अनुग्रह से भरी होती थीं, “और सब ने उसे सराहा, और जो अनुग्रह की बातें उसके मुंह से निकलती थीं, उन से अचम्भा किया; और कहने लगे; क्या यह यूसुफ का पुत्र नहीं?” (लूका 4:22)। नीतिवचन भी हमें इसी प्रकार से सच्चाई को भी ग्रहण योग्य और मनभावना बनाकर कहने के लिए सिखाता है (नीतिवचन 10:13, 32; 16:21; 22:11; 25:11)।
आत्मिक वरदानों के बारे में, 1 कुरिन्थियों 12:7 में लिखा है कि प्रत्येक वरदान सभी के लाभ के लिए हैं। यह बात इस वरदान के विषय भी सही है। जिन्हें यह सहायता या उपकार की सेवकाई प्रभु ने सौंपी है, कई बार उन्हें स्वयं भी दुखों, क्लेशों, और विपरीत परिस्थितियों से होकर जाना पड़ता है। इन बातों के द्वारा परमेश्वर उन्हें उनकी इस सेवकाई को भली-भांति करने के लिए, या किसी आने वाली परिस्थिति में औरों की सहायता करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित करता है, “हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के परमेश्वर, और पिता का धन्यवाद हो, जो दया का पिता, और सब प्रकार की शान्ति का परमेश्वर है। वह हमारे सब क्लेशों में शान्ति देता है; ताकि हम उस शान्ति के कारण जो परमेश्वर हमें देता है, उन्हें भी शान्ति दे सकें, जो किसी प्रकार के क्लेश में हों। क्योंकि जैसे मसीह के दुख हम को अधिक होते हैं, वैसे ही हमारी शान्ति भी मसीह के द्वारा अधिक होती है” (2 कुरिन्थियों 1:3-5)।
परमेश्वर के वचन, बाइबल में हमें विभिन्न उदाहरणों और शिक्षाओं के द्वारा बताया गया है कि यह सेवकाई किन विभिन्न रीतियों से की जा सकती है:
दुखी लोगों के हर प्रकार के बोझों को उठाने में सहायक बनाकर: प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने कहा “हे सब परिश्रम करने वालों और बोझ से दबे लोगों, मेरे पास आओ; मैं तुम्हें विश्राम दूंगा। मेरा जूआ अपने ऊपर उठा लो; और मुझ से सीखो; क्योंकि मैं नम्र और मन में दीन हूं: और तुम अपने मन में विश्राम पाओगे। क्योंकि मेरा जूआ सहज और मेरा बोझ हल्का है” (मत्ती 11:28-30)। प्रभु यीशु स्वयं लोगों के भारी बोझों को अपने ऊपर लेकर, उनके साथ अपने हल्के बोझ को बाँटना चाहता है। प्रभु की इस बात का एक उत्तम उदाहरण है नेक सामरी का दृष्टांत (लूका 10:30-37), जहाँ प्रभु ने बताया कि परिस्थिति और आवश्यकता के अनुसार उस सामरी व्यक्ति ने मुसीबत में पड़े व्यक्ति की सहायता करने में किसी प्रकार का कोई संकोच नहीं किया, वरन आगे बढ़कर उसकी सहायता भी की, और आगे के लिए भी प्रयोजन किया।
लोगों की आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति में योगदान के द्वारा: पौलुस ने भी अपनी पत्रियों में दिखाया कि कैसे विभिन्न मंडलियों के लोग उसकी यात्राओं में उसकी सहायता करते थे, उसकी आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करते थे (रोमियों 15:24; 2 कुरिन्थियों 1:16)। साथ ही उसने सेवकाई में लगे लोगों की सहायता करने वालों की आवश्यकताओं में उनकी सहायता करने की भी शिक्षा दी (फिलिप्पियों 4:3)। पौलुस ने औरों की सहायता खुले दिल से करने का अति उत्तम उदाहरण मकिदुनिया की कलीसियाओं को दिखाया; और उनके उदाहरण के आधार पर इस सेवकाई में औरों को भी बढ़ते जाने के लिए कहा (2 कुरिन्थियों 8:1-7)।
प्रार्थनाओं के द्वारा परमेश्वर की सहायता और अनुग्रह मांगने के द्वारा: पौलुस ने न केवल भौतिक वस्तुओं के द्वारा सहायता करने के लिए सिखाया, वरन, एक दूसरे के लिए; एक दूसरे के दुखों और परिस्थितियों के लिए प्रार्थना करने के द्वारा भी सहायता प्रदान करने को कहा (कुलुस्सियों 4:12; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 3:10; फिलेमोन 1:22)। उसने स्वयं अपने लिए मण्डलियों से प्रार्थनाएं करने के लिए कहा (रोमियों 15:30-33; 2 कुरिन्थियों 1:11; इफिसियों 6 :19; कुलुस्सियों 4:3; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:25; 2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 3:1)।
वचन की शिक्षा देने के द्वारा: मसीही विश्वासियों, मण्डलियों, और परमेश्वर के कार्यों के विरुद्ध शैतान का एक प्रमुख हथियार है परमेश्वर की अनाज्ञाकारिता करवाना। यह करने के लिए सबसे सहज तरीका है कि या तो परमेश्वर के वचन को लोगों तक पहुँचने न दे, या फिर उन्हें गलत शिक्षाओं में फंसा कर बहका और भरमा दे - ऐसे में लोगों यही लगता रहेगा कि वे परमेश्वर के वचन का पालन कर रहे हैं, जबकि वास्तविकता में वे परमेश्वर के वचन और निर्देशों के विरुद्ध, शैतान की बातों के पालन में लगे हुए होंगे। पुराने नियम में इस्राएल का इतिहास गवाह है कि परमेश्वर ने उन्हें हानि से बचे रहने तथा सुरक्षित रहने के लिए सदा अपने वचन का पालन करने, उसे थामे रहने के लिए कहा (व्यवस्थाविवरण 6:1-3; 17:18-19; यहोशू 1:7-8)। जब भी लोगों ने परमेश्वर के वचन का पालन नहीं किया, वे हानि में आ गए (न्यायियों 2:10-20; यशायाह 5:13; होशे 4:6)। प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने भी सुसमाचार प्रचार के साथ संसार के लोगों को उसकी शिक्षाएं सिखाने को कहा (मत्ती 28:19-20), और वचन सीखने में हमारी सहायता के लिए परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा मसीही विश्वासियों में रहने के लिए दिया है (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:10-16)। साथ ही मसीही सेवकों को वचन की शिक्षाएं देने के दायित्व भी दिए हैं, जिससे मसीही विश्वासी और मण्डलियाँ सिद्ध, स्थिर और दृढ़ हो सकें, शैतान की गलत शिक्षाओं के बहकावे में आने से बच सकें (इफिसियों 4:11-15; कुलुस्सियों 2:4-8; 2 तिमुथियुस 3:16-18; 4:2-5)।
वचन के सही उपयोग के द्वारा: मसीही विश्वासियों को उनके मसीही विश्वास और जीवन में सही और स्थिर बनाए रखने के लिए उन्हें वचन की सही शिक्षाएं देने की यह सेवकाई बहुत आवश्यक है (2 तिमुथियुस 2:15), और उपकार या सहायता करने वालों को भी यह ध्यान रखना है कि लोग वचन की सही शिक्षाओं में स्थिर और दृढ़ हैं या किसी गलत शिक्षा में पड़ गए हैं, या वचन का अध्ययन ही छोड़ दिया है! उपकार या सहायता की सेवकाई करने वाले को भी वचन में स्थिर और दृढ़ होना चाहिए जिससे आवश्यकता के अनुसार, पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में वह वचन के सही भाग, सही शिक्षाओं के प्रयोग के द्वारा औरों की सहायता कर सकें, उन्हें उभार सकें, सांत्वना दे सकें।
यदि आप मसीही विश्वासी हैं तो आपके लिए यह आवश्यक है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन का नियमित अध्ययन करें (यूहन्ना 14:21, 23), पवित्र आत्मा के साथ बैठकर उससे वचन को सीखें (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:12), उसे गहराई से अपने हृदय में बैठाएं (कुलुस्सियों 3:16), जिससे पवित्र आत्मा समय और आवश्यकता के अनुसार आपको वचन स्मरण करवाए (यूहन्ना 14:26), और फिर अपने तथा औरों के जीवन में उस वचन के सही उपयोग के द्वारा आप औरों के सहायक या उपकार करने वाले एक श्रेष्ठ मसीही सेवक बन सकें (2 तिमुथियुस 2:15)।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Users of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Helps - Why & How
In the previous article we had seen about the necessity of the Spiritual gift of “Helps” amongst the Christian Believer’s and Churches. The Bible tells us that the Christian Believers, the people of God, and the prophets of God, all go through situations and circumstances of both, joys and sorrow, and everyone needs help. In such situations, it is the people of God who can be the best helpers of others. But it can also happen that the very friends who come to give comfort, become the cause of aggravating the sorrow, as had happened with Job. On hearing about the terrible heart-rending tragedies that had come upon Job, all his children were killed, all his possessions were looted away, and his body became full of sores, his friends came to console him, but seeing the state he was in they started to weep and cry themselves, and none of them could speak anything for seven days (Job 2:11-13). After that when they started to talk with Job, they started to accuse him of having committed some sin, because of which these tragedies had come upon him. Job continued to justify himself and plead his innocence, but they continued to accuse him. Eventually, getting fed-up of the accusations of his friends who had come to console and comfort him, Job says to them, “I have heard many such things; Miserable comforters are you all!” (Job 16:2). And we see at the end of this book that even God was not pleased by their accusations against Job, although those friends were trying to justify God and prove Job wrong (Job 42:7); it was only after Job offered burnt offerings and prayers on their behalf to God that God forgave them, and did not punish them (Job 42:8-9).
The Word of God teaches us that we should ask God for words of wisdom and only then help and comfort others accordingly, as Isaiah says, “The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned” (Isaiah 50:4). For the Lord Jesus too, it has been written that all people appreciated the gracious words that He spoke to them “So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, "Is this not Joseph's son?"” (Luke 4:22). The Book of Proverbs too teaches us to try to make the truth gentle and acceptable while sharing it (Proverbs 10:13, 32; 16:21; 22:11; 25:11).
It is written in 1 Corinthians 12:7 about the Spiritual gifts that every gift is for the benefit of everyone. This is true for this Spiritual gift as well. Those, who have been given this ministry of providing Helps and comforting to others, often they themselves have to pass through situations of pain, sufferings, and adverse circumstances. Through these experiences God trains them to carry out this service worthily, and how to help someone else in a similar situation “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:3-5).
In God’s Word the Bible, we have been told through various examples and teachings that this service can be rendered in various different ways:
By helping those laboring and heavily laden, in lifting their loads: The Lord Jesus said “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). The Lord Jesus Himself wants to take up the heavy loads of the people and share His light load with them. An excellent illustration of this is the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37), where the Lord has shown that as per the need of the hour, the situation at hand, the Good Samaritan did not hesitate at all in helping the man in problems; he rose up to the occasion and not only provided the immediate help and relief but also made provisions for the future needs as well.
By contributing to fulfill the need of others: Paul in his letters, has written how various Assemblies helped him in his journeys and fulfilled his needs (Romans 15:24; 2 Corinthians 1:16). Paul also taught to make provisions for people engaged in the Lord’s Ministry (Philippians 4:3). Paul illustrated through the Macedonian Church the open and gracious tendency to help others, and using their example exhorted others also to increase in this service (2 Corinthians 8:1-7).
By praying to ask for God’s help and grace upon others: Paul not only taught about helping through physical things, but to also pray for each other, and for help coming to others in their circumstances and problems (Colossians 4:12; 1 Thessalonians 3:10; Philemon 1:22). Paul asked the Churches to pray for him and his ministry (Romans 15:30-33; 2 Corinthians 1:11; Ephesians 6 :19; Colossians 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:25; 2 Thessalonians 3:1).
By teaching the Word of God to others: One of Satan’s main and potent weapon against the Christian Believers, Churches, and the work of God is getting people to disobey God. To accomplish this, the most convenient and easy way is to either not let God’s Word reach the people, or to beguile people through wrong teachings and false doctrines, through misinterpretations, and creating misunderstandings about the teachings in God’s Word. People who have been led astray by either of these things, will remain in the deception that they have been following God’s Word, whereas actually they had been following satanic teachings, doctrines, misinterpretations, and misunderstandings about the teachings in God’s Word, and living contrary to God’ Word. In the Old Testament, the history of Israel testifies to the fact that God always asked His people to obey Him, to hold on to His Word to remain safe and secure from harm (Deuteronomy 6:1-3; 17:18-19; Joshua 1:7-8). Whenever God’s people stopped following God’s Word, they came to harm and suffered problems (Judges 2:10-20; Isaiah 5:13; Hosea 4:6). The Lord Jesus too instructed His disciples to teach the people His Word along with preaching the gospel (Matthew 28:18-20), and He has given the Born-Again Christian Believers the Holy Spirit who resides in them and teaches them God’s Word (1 Corinthians 2:10-16) if people are willing to listen to Him, spend time with Him. The Lord has also given the responsibility to His people to teach His Word so that the Christian Believers and Churches may be established and firmly rooted in God’s Word, and remain safe from falling into wrong teachings and false doctrines (Ephesians 4:11-15; Colossians 2:4-8; 2 Timothy 3:16-18; 4:2-5).
By rightly dividing and using the Word of God: To keep the Christian Believers firmly established in their Christian Faith and life, this ministry of teaching the Word to them correctly is very important (2 Timothy 2:15); and the one providing help and comfort should also see whether people are firmly established in correct teachings or have fallen for some wrong teachings, or have they given up studying God’s Word! The one providing this ministry of Helps and comfort should himself be firmly established in the true teachings of God’s Word, so that as per the need and necessity, he can use the correct portions and teachings of God’s Word to help others, encourage them, console and comfort them.
If you are a Christian Believer, then it is essential for you to regularly and systematically study God’s Word (John 14:21, 23), sit with the Holy Spirit and learn God’s Word from Him (1 Corinthians 2:12), to firmly and deeply establish God’s Word in your heart (Colossians 3:16), so that according to the need and opportunity, the Holy Spirit will be able to have you recall the appropriate portion of God’s Word (John 14:26), and then by rightly utilizing God’s Word in your own life and in the life of others, you become a good minister of God, and worthily carry out your ministry of helping and comforting others (2 Timothy 2:15).
If you are still thinking of yourself as being a Christian, a child of God, entitled to a place in heaven, because of being born in a particular family and having fulfilled the religious rites and rituals prescribed under your religion or denomination since your childhood, then you too need to come out of your misunderstanding of Biblical facts and start learning, understanding, and living according to what the Word of God says, instead of what any denominational creed says or teaches. Make the necessary corrections in your life now while you have the time and opportunity; lest by the time you realize your mistake, it is too late to do anything about it.
If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
