प्रभु यीशु की कलीसिया - परमेश्वर की दाख की बारी
पिछले कुछ लेखों में हम प्रभु यीशु की कलीसिया के लिए परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल के नए नियम खंड में प्रयोग किए गए विभिन्न रूपक (metaphors), जैसे कि - प्रभु का परिवार या घराना; परमेश्वर का निवास-स्थान या मन्दिर; परमेश्वर का भवन; परमेश्वर की खेती; प्रभु की देह; प्रभु की दुल्हन; परमेश्वर की दाख की बारी, इत्यादि के बारे में देखते आ रहे हैं। हमने देखा है कि किस प्रकार से इन रूपकों में होकर परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रभु द्वारा अपनी कलीसिया, अर्थात, अपने सच्चे और समर्पित शिष्यों,उनका धर्मी और पवित्र किए जाना, परमेश्वर के साथ कलीसिया के संबंध, संगति, एवं सहभागिता की बहाली, तथा कलीसिया के लोगों के व्यवहार और जीवनों में परमेश्वर के प्रयोजन, उन से उसकी अपेक्षाएं, आदि को समझाया है। यहाँ पर ये रूपक किसी विशिष्ट क्रम, आधार, अथवा रीति से सूची-बद्ध नहीं किए गए हैं; सभी रूपक समान ही महत्वपूर्ण हैं, सभी में मसीही जीवन से संबंधित कुछ आवश्यक शिक्षाएं हैं। कलीसिया के लिए बाइबल में प्रयोग किए गए सभी रूपक समान रीति से, एक सच्चे, समर्पित, आज्ञाकारी मसीही विश्वासी के प्रभु यीशु और पिता परमेश्वर के साथ संबंध को, तथा उसके मसीही जीवन, और दायित्वों के विभिन्न पहलुओं को दिखाते हैं।
साथ ही, इन सभी रूपकों में एक और सामान्य बात है कि प्रत्येक रूपक यह भी बिलकुल स्पष्ट और निश्चित कर देता है कि कोई भी व्यक्ति किसी भी प्रकार के किसी भी मानवीय प्रयोजन, कार्य, मान्यता या धारणा के निर्वाह आदि के द्वारा, अपनी अथवा किसी अन्य मनुष्य की ओर से परमेश्वर की कलीसिया का सदस्य बन ही नहीं सकता है; वह चाहे कितने भी और कैसे भी प्रयास अथवा दावे क्यों न कर ले। अगर व्यक्ति प्रभु यीशु की कलीसिया का सदस्य होगा, तो वह केवल प्रभु की इच्छा से, उसके माप-दंडों के आधार पर, उसकी स्वीकृति से होगा, अन्यथा कोई चाहे कुछ भी कहता रहे, वह चाहे किसी ‘मानवीय कलीसिया’ अथवा किसी ‘संस्थागत कलीसिया’ का सदस्य हो जाए, किन्तु प्रभु की वास्तविक कलीसिया का सदस्य हो ही नहीं सकता है। और यदि वह अपने आप को प्रभु की कलीसिया का सदस्य समझता या कहता भी है, तो भी प्रभु उसकी वास्तविकता देर-सवेर प्रकट कर देगा, और अन्ततः वह अनन्त विनाश के लिए प्रभु की कलीसिया से पृथक कर दिया जाएगा। इसलिए अपने आप को मसीही विश्वासी कहने वाले प्रत्येक जन के लिए अभी समय और अवसर है कि अभी अपने ‘मसीही विश्वासी’ होने के आधार एवं वास्तविक स्थिति को भली-भांति जाँच-परख कर, उचित कदम उठा ले और प्रभु के साथ अपने संबंध ठीक कर ले। हर व्यक्ति को यह सुनिश्चित कर लेना चाहिए कि वह किसी मानवीय कलीसिया अथवा किसी संस्थागत कलीसिया का नहीं, परंतु प्रभु यीशु की वास्तविक कलीसिया का सदस्य है।
पिछले लेखों में हम उपरोक्त सूची के पहले छः रूपकों को देख चुके हैं। आज हम इस सूची के सातवें रूपक, कलीसिया के परमेश्वर की दाख की बारी होने के संबंध में देखेंगे।
(7) परमेश्वर की दाख की बारी
बाइबल के नए नियम खंड की पहली चार पुस्तकों, अर्थात प्रभु यीशु मसीह की जीवनियों में, प्रभु यीशु ने “दाख की बारी” से संबंधित कुछ दृष्टांत कहे हैं। किन्तु किसी भी दृष्टांत में, या फिर, बाद में बाइबल की अन्य पुस्तकों में, प्रभु यीशु की कलीसिया को, पहले छः रूपकों के समान, स्पष्टतः प्रभु की या परमेश्वर की दाख की बारी नहीं कहा गया है। पुराने नियम में परमेश्वर के लोगों, इस्राएल को “परमेश्वर की दाख की बारी” कहा गया है। क्योंकि वर्तमान में मसीही विश्वासी परमेश्वर के लोग, उसके ‘आत्मिक’ इस्राएल (इफिसियों 2:11-13) हैं, इसलिए दाख की बारी से संबंधित प्रभु के दृष्टान्तों को प्रभु यीशु की कलीसिया के संदर्भ में भी ले लिया जाता है, और कलीसिया से संबंधित बातों और कार्यों के विषय उन दृष्टांतों से भी शिक्षाएं ली जाती हैं, जो मसीही जीवन के लिए शिक्षाप्रद भी हैं। हम भी यहाँ पर “दाख की बारी” से संबंधित प्रभु द्वारा दिए गए दृष्टांतों से कुछ शिक्षाएं लेंगे, जो मसीही जीवन, सेवकाई, और प्रभु के लिए उपयोगी होना सिखाती हैं।
मत्ती 20:1-16 में एक गृहस्थ द्वारा लगाई गई दाख की बारी का दृष्टांत है, जिसमें कार्य करने के लिए वह सुबह से शाम, अर्थात आरंभ से लेकर अन्त तक, मजदूरों को ढूँढता और भेजता रहा। अर्थात, उस दाख की बारी को देखभाल की, उसमें कुछ-न-कुछ काम की आवश्यकता थी। उस दाख की बारी का स्वामी इस बात को जानता और समझता था, और वह ही अपनी बारी में काम के लिए मजदूरों को नियुक्त करता और भेजता रहा। प्रभु की कलीसिया में भी बहुत से कार्य होते हैं, जो प्रभु के दूसरे आगमन तक ज़ारी रहेंगे। प्रभु की कलीसिया गतिहीन (static) नहीं, गतिशील (dynamic) है। अभी निर्माणाधीन है, उसे देखभाल की, और शैतान के द्वारा उस पर निरंतर किए जाने वाले विभिन्न प्रकार के हमलों के कारण मरम्मत की आवश्यकता रहती है। इसलिए प्रभु को अपनी कलीसिया में उसके लिए कार्य करते रहने वालों की भी आवश्यकता रहती है।
मत्ती 21:28-32 में, पिता की दाख की बारी में कार्य करने के लिए आज्ञाकारी और लापरवाह पुत्रों का दृष्टांत है, जो हमें परमेश्वर की सन्तान, उसके विश्वासियों के पिता की इच्छा के अनुसार कार्य करते रहना सिखाता है।
मत्ती 21:33-46 में दाख की बारी की देखभाल और उसके लिए उत्तरदायी होने से संबंधित दृष्टांत है, जिसे मरकुस 12:1-12 में और लूका 20:9-18 में भी लिखा गया है। प्रभु का यह दृष्टांत मुख्यतः उन धर्म के अगुवों के विरुद्ध था जिन्होंने परमेश्वर द्वारा उन्हें दिए गए दायित्व का ठीक से निर्वाह नहीं किया, परमेश्वर द्वारा भेजे गए नबियों का निरादर किया उन्हें मार डाला, और प्रभु को भी मार डालना चाहते थे। किन्तु हमारे लिए इस दृष्टांत में महत्वपूर्ण शिक्षा है - प्रभु परमेश्वर जब दायित्व देता है, तो फिर उसका हिसाब भी लेता है। मसीही जीवन लापरवाही का, प्रभु और उसके कार्य को हल्के में लेने, और ठीक से न करने का जीवन नहीं है। सभी को अपने जीवन और कार्यों का हिसाब देना होगा (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10), और यह आँकलन होने के अनुसार ही प्रत्येक अपने प्रतिफल पाएगा (1 कुरिन्थियों 3:13-15)।
लूका 13:6-9 में प्रभु द्वारा दाख की बारी का एक और दृष्टांत है, जो दाख की बारी के स्वामी (परमेश्वर) के धैर्य और विलंब से कोप करने को, तथा बारी के रखवाले (प्रभु यीशु) के अपने लोगों के प्रति प्रेम और उनको फलवंत बनाने में प्रयासरत रहने को दिखाता है।
ये सभी दृष्टांत अपने लोगों, अपनी “दाख की बारी” के प्रति परमेश्वर और प्रभु यीशु की लगन, प्रेम, और उनके लिए परिश्रम करने को, तथा प्रभु के लोगों से प्रभु की अपेक्षा को दिखाते हैं। सभी दृष्टांत प्रभु या परमेश्वर की “दाख की बारी” से संबंधित हैं; कोई भी दृष्टांत प्रभु की दाख की बारी में घुस आए या लगा दिए गए लोगों के लिए नहीं है। प्रभु परमेश्वर की देखभाल और चिंता, उसके अपने लोगों के लिए है; उसकी दाख की बारी में उसके लोगों का भेस धर कर रहने वालों का कोई उल्लेख नहीं है।
यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो यह ध्यान रखिए कि अन्ततः, एक दिन, आपको प्रभु के सामने खड़ा होना पड़ेगा, अपने जीवन और कार्यों का संपूर्ण हिसाब प्रभु को देना होगा। प्रभु के धैर्य और विलंब से कोप करने का अर्थ कभी कोप न करना, कभी हिसाब न लेना, नहीं है। उद्धार पाया हुए मसीही विश्वासी का उद्धार तो कभी नहीं जाएगा, किन्तु उसे अनन्तकाल के लिए मिलने वाले प्रतिफलों पर उसके जीवन और कार्यों का प्रभाव अवश्य आएगा (1 कुरिन्थियों 3:13-15)।
यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Biblical Metaphors for the Church – God’s Vineyard
We have been considering the various metaphors given in the New Testament section of the Word of God the Bible, for the Church of God, e.g., the Family of the Lord; the Temple or Dwelling place of God; House of God; the Field of God; The Body of the Lord; the Bride of the Lord; the Vineyard of God, etc. We have seen how through these metaphors God the Holy Spirit has shown and explained about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, i.e., about those who are His truly surrendered and committed people, their being made pure and holy, their relationship with the Lord, the restoration of His people to fellowship with God, the life and behavior of the people of the Church, and God’s expectations from them, His work in their lives etc. We are not considering these metaphors in any particular order; all of them are equally important, and every one of them teaches some important thing or the other about Christian life.
Every metaphor shows different aspects of the relationship of a truly surrendered and committed Christian Believer with the Lord Jesus and God, and the related aspects of the Believer’s life and responsibilities. Every metaphor also makes it very clear and evident that no person can become a member of the Lord’s Church through any human works, criteria, notions etc., no matter who he may be or how much he may try to join the Lord’s Church. If anyone joins the Church of the Lord, it will only be according to the will, standards, criteria, and acceptance by the Lord. Other than this anyone may keep saying, doing, and claiming whatever they may; he will never actually be or become a member of the Lord’s Church. Even if he considers himself to be and claims his being a member, sooner or later his actual state will be exposed, and he will be separated out for eternal destruction. Therefore, for everyone who claims himself to be a Christian Believer, now is the time and opportunity to examine and evaluate their relationship with the Lord and its basis, and if there is any doubt, then have it rectified and come into the right relationship with the Lord.
From this list of metaphors, we have considered six metaphors in the previous articles. Today we will consider the seventh metaphor, being the Bride of Christ.
(7) God’s Vineyard
In the New Testament section of the Bible, in its first four books, i.e., the Gospels – the biographies of the Lord Jesus, the Lord Jesus spoke some parables about “vineyards.” But in none of the parables, nor, later in any of the books of the Bible has the Church explicitly been called the “Vineyard of the Lord”, as has been the case with the first six metaphors that we have considered so far. In the Old Testament, the people of God, Israel, has been called the “Vineyard of God.” Since now, the Christian Believers are the people of God, His ‘spiritual’ Israel (Ephesians 2:11-13), and since the teachings of these parables given by the Lord are meant for Christian living and ministry, therefore the Lord’s parables about the vineyards are also seen as related to the Church of the Lord Jesus, and the teachings from these parables are applicable to the Church and its work or ministries. Here, we too will consider some teachings concerning the Christian life, ministry, and being useful for the Lord Jesus from the Lord’s parables.
Matthew 20:1-16 is a parable about a landowner who planted a vineyard; he kept looking for and sending into the vineyard people to work, from morning till evening. Meaning, there always was some opportunity or the other for work in the vineyard, till the end of the day. The landowner knew and understood this; therefore, he kept appointing laborers and sending them into the vineyard to work. In the Church of the Lord Jesus too, there are many works and ministries that will continue till the second coming of the Lord. The Lord’s Church is not static, but is dynamic. We have seen that it is still “under-construction” therefore, it needs constant care and protection, and even repairs where it has been damaged by attacks from Satan and his forces.
In the parable of Matthew 21:28-32, where a father asks his sons to go work in his vineyard, the Lord taught about obedient and disobedient and careless children; which gives us a lesson about the children of God, the Christian Believers, working according to the will of God the Father.
In Matthew 21:33-46 is a parable about taking care of the vineyard and being accountable for the assigned work; this parable has also been stated in Mark 12:1-2 and Luke 20:9-18. The Lord gave this parable mainly about those religious leaders who did not fulfill their responsibilities towards God, they insulted and even killed the prophets God sent to them, and were getting ready to kill even the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. For us, there is a very important lesson in this parable, when God gives a responsibility, He also takes an account of it. The Christian life is not a life of being careless and taking the Lord’s work and ministries lightly, not doing them diligently. Everyone will have to give an account of their lives and the work they have done (2 Corinthians 5:10), and everyone will receive their rewards according to a minute evaluation of their works (1 Corinthians 3:13-15).
In Luke 13:6-9, there is another parable of the Lord related to the vineyard, which illustrates about the patience and longsuffering of the owner of the vineyard (God), and the love of the ‘keeper of the vineyard’ (Lord Jesus) for His people and how He continues to labor and strive to make His people fruitful and useful.
All of these parables speak of the Lord’s expectations from His people, about the labor, diligence, and love of the Lord for His people. All of these parables are related to “God’s Vineyard”; none of these parables is about the infiltrators into the vineyard or those planted surreptitiously. The care and looking after of the Lord God is for His people; there is no mention of the Lord being concerned about the welfare of those who may have clandestinely entered His Church, and are masquerading as members of His Church.
If you are a Christian Believer, then keep in mind that eventually, one day you will have to stand before the Lord and give an account of your life to Him. The present attitude of patience, forbearance, and long-suffering of the Lord does not mean that He will never take an account and will never appropriately deal with the disobedient and careless. While it is true that a Christian Believer will never lose his salvation; but his carelessness and disobedience surely will quite adversely affect his eternal rewards (1 Corinthians 3:13-15).
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
