    हमने पिछले लेखों में देखा है कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त बातें भी डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है।

    पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा है, जो संक्षिप्त में निम्नलिखित थीं: 

    * प्रत्येक सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी के नया जन्म या उद्धार पाते ही, तुरंत उसके उद्धार पाने के पल से ही, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संपूर्णता में आकर उसके अंदर निवास करने लगता है, और उसी में बना रहता है, उसे कभी छोड़ कर नहीं जाता है; 

    * और बाइबल के अनुसार, इसी को पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा पाना भी कहते हैं। 

    * वचन स्पष्ट है कि पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या उससे बपतिस्मा पाना कोई दूसरा या अतिरिक्त अनुभव नहीं है, वरन उद्धार के साथ ही सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा का आकर निवास करना ही है। 

    * प्रेरितों 2 अध्याय में जो अन्य भाषाएं बोली गईं, वे पृथ्वी ही की भाषाएं और उन भाषाओं के कुछ भिन्न स्वरूप, अर्थात बोलियाँ थीं; कोई अलौकिक भाषा नहीं।

    * उन लोगों के द्वारा “अन्य-भाषाओं” को अलौकिक भाषाएं बताना, और परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग के द्वारा इससे संबंधित कई और गलत शिक्षाओं को सिखाने के बारे में भी हम देख चुके हैं कि यह भी एक ऐसी गलत शिक्षा है जिसका वचन से कोई समर्थन या आधार नहीं है। 

    * हमने यह भी देखा था कि वचन में इस शिक्षा का भी कोई आधार या समर्थन नहीं है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” प्रार्थना की भाषाएं हैं। 

    * हमने यह भी देखा था कि उन लोगों के सभी दावों के विपरीत, 

        ** न तो प्रेरितों 2:3-11 में प्रभु के शिष्यों द्वारा अन्य-भाषाओं में बोलना कोई “सुनने” का आश्चर्यकर्म था, 

        ** न ही अन्य भाषाएं प्रार्थना करने की गुप्त भाषाएँ हैं, ताकि हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ शैतानी शक्तियों से गुप्त रहें, 

        ** और न ही ये पृथ्वी के अन्य स्थानों की भाषाएं किसी को भी यूं ही दे दी जाती हैं, जब तक कि व्यक्ति की उस स्थान पर सेवकाई न हो, जहाँ की भाषा बोलने की सामर्थ्य उसे प्रदान की गई है।  

    * हमने यह भी देखा है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलना ही पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण नहीं है; और यह कहना, परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग पर आधारित है, झूठ है। 

    * व्यक्ति “अन्य-भाषा” बोलने के द्वारा सीधे परमेश्वर से बात करता है, इसके तथा कुछ संबंधित और बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बातों के बारे में हम देख चुके हैं कि उनका यह दावा भी वचन की कसौटी पर बिलकुल गलत है, अस्वीकार्य है।

    यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।

    यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

A Review of Wrong Teachings About the Holy Spirit

    We have seen in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

    In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, we had started to look into the wrong things often taught and preached about the Holy Spirit. Briefly stated, the Biblical teachings about the Holy Spirit, that we have seen are:

    * Every truly Born-Again Christian Believer automatically receives the Holy Spirit from God, at the very moment of his being saved. From that moment onwards, the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him in all His fullness, stays with him forever, never leaves him.

    * Biblically this is also known as being filled by the Holy Spirit or, the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. 

    * God’s Word is very clear that being filled with the Holy Spirit is not ‘another’ or a ‘second experience’; rather it is the same as the Holy Spirit coming to reside in a Christian Believer on being saved.

    * The speaking in “tongues” in Acts 2 were the known and understood languages and their dialects, of the earth; and not any super-natural languages.

    * Their claim that the “tongues’ are super-natural languages, and some other related wrong teachings also have no support or affirmation from the Bible.  

    * We have also seen that quite unlike their claims, “tongues” are not a “prayer language” for effective prayers.

    * We also saw that, contrary to their emphatic claims,

        ** The speaking in “tongues” by the Lord’s disciples, given in Acts 2:3-11, was not a miracle of “hearing”,

           ** Nor are “tongues” a so-called ‘secret language’ to keep our prayers safe from satanic forces,

        ** Nor are they unknown languages of some other regions of the earth, granted to the Believer; unless the Believer has a ministry in that region.

    * Speaking in “tongues” is not a proof of receiving the Holy Spirit - the Bible does not offer any affirmation or support to this; and making this absolutely false claim is based on misinterpreting and misusing God's Word. 

    * We have also seen that the assertion and its related claims are also patently false and unBiblical, that by speaking in “tongues” a person starts communicating with God directly. 

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

    पौलुस के जीवन और उदाहरणों से परमेश्वर के वचन के सही उपयोग और उसके साथ उचित व्यवहार को सीखते हुए, पिछले कुछ लेखों से हम 2 कुरिन्थियों 4:2 से देखते आ रहे हैं। इस पद में पौलुस ने अपनी सेवकाई के तीन गुणों तथा साथ ही उद्देश्यों को भी लिखा है। अभी तक हम पौलुस की सेवकाई के उद्देश्यों और तीन में से दो गुणों को देख चुके हैं। आज हम इस पद में दिए गए तीसरे गुण, “न परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करते हैं” को देखेंगे।

    ऐसा करने के दो बहुत सामान्य, किन्तु बहुधा पहचाने न जाने वाले तरीके हैं; एक है परमेश्वर के वचन में मानवीय बुद्धि की बातों को मिश्रित करना, जो क्रूस के सन्देश को, सुसमाचार को व्यर्थ कर देता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:17); और दूसरा है वचन को ‘सुधार’ कर, उसे और अधिक आकर्षक, लुभावना, और स्वीकार करने के लिए सहज बना कर प्रस्तुत करना, बजाए जैसा परमेश्वर ने उसे प्रदान किया है उसे वैसे ही उपयोग करना, जैसे कि परमेश्वर ने अपने नबियों से करने के लिए कहा है (निर्गमन 7:2; यिर्मयाह 1:7, 17; 23:28; यहेजकेल 2:7; 3:10-11)। हम मसीही विश्वासियों को शैतान द्वारा बहकाए जाने से बचाए रखने के लिए परमेश्वर ने हमारे अन्दर निवास करने के लिए हमें अपना पवित्र आत्मा दिया है, जो हमारा सहायक है और हमें प्रभु यीशु की बातें सिखाता और स्मरण दिलाता है (यूहन्ना 14:16-17, 26)। जो लोग पवित्र आत्मा के प्रति समर्पित और आज्ञाकारी रहते हैं, वह उन्हें परमेश्वर के वचन को सिखाता और समझाता भी है (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:10-14)। लेकिन फिर उन्हें जा कर उसे जो पवित्र आत्मा ने सिखाया है, उसमें अपनी बुद्धि और समझ की बातें नहीं मिलानी चाहिएँ, और न ही उसे ’बेहतर’ करने का, उसे और अधिक आकर्षक और लुभावना बनाने का, स्वीकार करने में सहज बनाने का प्रयास नहीं करना चाहिए; बल्कि जैसा परमेश्वर ने दिया है, उसे वैसा ही उपयोग करना चाहिए।

    जैसा हम देख चुके हैं, क्योंकि पौलुस परमेश्वर को पूर्णतः समर्पित और आज्ञाकारी था, इसीलिए वह न केवल परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करने, उसे बिगाड़ने, या उसके साथ हेरा-फेरी करने की प्रवृत्ति से बचकर रह सका, वरन जैसा परमेश्वर ने उसे दिया था, वचन को वैसा ही लोगों तक पहुंचाने में उद्यमी भी बना रहा (1 कुरिन्थियों 11:23; गलातियों 1:11-12; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 4:2)। हम मसीही विश्वासियों को, क्योंकि हम सभी परमेश्वर के वचन के साथ व्यवहार करते हैं, और विशेषकर उन्हें जिन्हें वचन की सेवकाई सौंपी गई है, इस खतरे के विषय अवगत और बहुत सावधान रहना चाहिए कि शैतान हम में क्या करने की प्रवृत्ति उकसा सकता है, अर्थात परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करना, उसे बिगाड़ना, और उसके साथ हेरा-फेरी करना। क्योंकि शैतान की इस चाल में गिर जाने का अर्थ है हमने कहीं, किसी रीति से, सँसार और शैतान के साथ समझौता कर लिया है, शैतान को हमारे जीवन में होकर काम करने का अवसर प्रदान कर दिया है। इसका परिणाम न केवल हमारी सेवकाई का व्यर्थ और निष्फल हो जाना, बल्कि साथ ही हमारा परमेश्वर के वचन का दुरुपयोग करने का दोषी हो जाना भी होता है। जैसा पौलुस के साथ था, वैसा ही हमारे साथ भी होना चाहिए, हमें परमेश्वर के वचन में कभी कोई मिलावट नहीं करनी चाहिए; अनजाने में भी नहीं; क्योंकि अनजाने में भी ऐसा कर देना इस बात का संकेत है कि हम परमेश्वर के मार्गों से भटक गए हैं, और शैतान की युक्तियों में फँस गए हैं।

    यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Appropriately Handling God’s Word – 23

 

    For learning the appropriate way to utilize and handle God’s Word from the life and example of Paul, for the past few articles we have been considering 2 Corinthians 4:2, where Paul has mentioned three characteristics, and the purpose of his ministry. So, far we have considered the purposes and two of the characteristics of his ministry. Today we will consider the third characteristic that Paul has mentioned here in this verse, i.e., “handling the word of God deceitfully.”

    For Paul to have said this, at that time – the time of the first Church, is an indicator that already Satan was at work and had spread around his agents, who were preaching and teaching wrong things. As we have seen in the preceding articles, some of these false preachers and teachers did this to gain worldly wealth and a status amongst the Christian Believers, while others simply did it to misguide and put people on the wrong path, lead them away from God while keeping them under the false impression that they are following or serving God (2 Corinthians 11:3, 13-15). The word translated “deceitfully”, in the original Greek language, means ‘to adulterate, distort, or falsify.’ Therefore, the implication is evident, God’s Word can only be misused, if it is first somehow adulterated, or distorted, or falsified. In its pure un-mishandled form, it will not misguide anyone. In our preceding, related series, we have seen in detail the various ways through which Satan causes people, even the committed Christian Believers, the preachers and teachers of God’s Word, to mishandle and misinterpret the Word of God.

    The two very common but often unrealized ways are adding human wisdom to God’s Word, which renders the message of the Cross, i.e., the gospel, ineffective (1 Corinthians 1:17); and secondly, to try to improve upon it, or make it appear more attractive and appealing, or more convenient, instead of using it in just the way it has been given by God, as God had instructed His prophets to do (Exodus 7:2; Jeremiah 1:7,17; 23:28; Ezekiel 2:7; 3:10-11). To help us Christian Believers stay safe from being misled by Satan, God has given us His Holy Spirit to reside in us as our Helper and teach and remind us the things taught by the Lord Jesus (John 14:16-17, 26). Those who stay obedient and submitted to the Holy Spirit, are also made to understand and are taught God’s Word by Him (1 Corinthians 2:10-14). But then, they should not go and adulterate what the Holy Spirit has taught them with their own wisdom and understanding, nor try to improve upon it, or make it appear more attractive and appealing, or more convenient; but utilize it just the way it has been taught and given to them.

    As we have seen, since Paul was fully submitted and obedient to God, therefore, he could not only stay safe from the tendency to adulterate, distort, or falsify God’s Word, but also be diligent in presenting it as it had been given to him (1 Corinthians 11:23; Galatians 1:11-12; 1 Thessalonians 4:2). For Christian Believers, since we all handle God’s Word, and particularly those who have been given the ministry of utilizing God’s Word, it is essential to remain aware of this danger, of this tendency that Satan often induces in us, i.e., of adulterating, distorting, or falsifying God’s Word. Since falling for this satanic ploy indicates that somehow, in some way, we have compromised with the world and Satan, and have allowed him to work in and through our lives. This will not only render our ministry ineffective and unfruitful, but will also make us guilty of mishandling God’s Word. As it was for Paul, so should it be for us, that we should never use God’s Word “deceitfully”, not even inadvertently; since even the inadvertent misuse indicates that we have deviated from God’s ways and somehow in something have fallen for Satan’s ploys.

    If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

    एक मसीही विश्वासी के परमेश्वर के वचन का भण्डारी होने के बारे में देखते हुए, हमने पिछले लेखों में कुछ उन तरीकों को देखा है, जिनके द्वारा शैतान बड़ी चालाकी और चुपके से परमेश्वर के वचन में फेर-बदल करवा देता है। हम पहले यह देख चुके हैं कि शैतान यह मुख्यतः दो तरीकों से करता है: पहला तरीका, जिसे हम उसके विभिन्न स्वरूपों में देखते आ रहे हैं, है बाइबल के वास्तविक लेख को बनाए रखना किन्तु उसे बाइबल के विपरीत अर्थ और अभिप्राय प्रदान करवा देना। जैसा हमने पिछले लेखों में देखा है, इस फेर-बदल को करवाने और लागू करवाने का शैतान का सबसे कारगर और सफल तरीका है यह काम जाने या अनजाने में परमेश्वर का प्रतिबद्ध जन, कलीसिया के प्रमुख व्यक्तियों या अगुवों, बाइबल के प्रचारकों तथा शिक्षकों आदि के द्वारा करवाना। ये धार्मिक लोग यही सोचते और समझते रहते हैं कि वे परमेश्वर की सेवा कर रहे हैं और उसके वचन का प्रचार कर रहे हैं; लेकिन उन्हें एहसास ही नहीं होने पाता है कि बड़ी चालाकी से शैतान ने उन्हें फँसा लिया है और वे उसके लिए कार्य कर रहे हैं और जो वो प्रचार कर रहे हैं, सिखा रहे हैं, वह परमेश्वर के वचन का बिगड़ा हुआ, भ्रष्ट किया हुआ स्वरूप है। परमेश्वर के वचन के साथ छेड़-छाड़ करने का शैतान का दूसरा तरीका, जिसे हम आज देखेंगे, पवित्र शास्त्र के लेख को ही बदल देना है । परमेश्वर द्वारा दिए गए वचन में कुछ जोड़ने अथवा उसमें से कुछ निकाल लेने के द्वारा वे वचन के अर्थ और अभिप्राय ही बदल देते हैं। और शैतान यह कार्य भी धार्मिक अगुवों के द्वारा ही करवाता है।

    यह बात प्रभु यीशु की पृथ्वी की सेवकाई के समय प्रकट थी। उस समय के धार्मिक अगुवों ने परमेश्वर के वचन में बहुत से फेर-बदल कर दिए थे, उसे अपने स्वार्थ के लिए सहज तथा अपने लाभ के लिए उपयोग करने के लिए। जब हम मत्ती 5 से 7 अध्याय में प्रभु द्वारा दिए गए ‘पहाड़ी उपदेश’ को पढ़ते हैं, तो हम प्रभु यीशु को बहुधा ‘तुम सुन चुके हो’, ‘तुम से कहा गया था’, आदि वाक्यांशों का पवित्र शास्त्र की शिक्षाओं के विषय उपयोग करते हुए देखते हैं; और फिर वह इसके बाद कहता है, ‘परन्तु मैं तुम से कहता हूँ’ और फिर जन-सामान्य को उस समय के धार्मिक अगुवों द्वारा जो गलत कहा और सिखाया गया था उसके सही स्वरूप को बताता है। इसी प्रकार से, मत्ती 15:1-15 में, फरीसियों और शास्त्रियों से प्रभु कहता है, “और ये व्यर्थ मेरी उपासना करते हैं, क्योंकि मनुष्यों की विधियों को धर्मोपदेश कर के सिखाते हैं” (मत्ती 15:9)। ये दोनों उदाहरण भली-भांति चित्रित करते हैं कि कैसे उस समय भी, धार्मिक अगुवों ने परमेश्वर के वचन में फेर-बदल करके उसे बिगाड़ दिया था, भ्रष्ट कर दिया था।

    प्रभु यीशु मसीह के स्वर्गारोहण के पश्चात, प्रभु में विश्वास द्वारा मिलने वाले उद्धार के सुसमाचार का प्रचार होने लगा, और जैसे-जैसे कलीसियाएँ बढ़ने और फैलने लगीं, सभी स्थानों पर मसीही विश्वासी बढ़ने लगे, तो साथ ही शैतान ने भी मसीही विश्वास की बिगाड़ी हुई शिक्षाओं को उनमें फैलाना आरम्भ कर दिया। उस समय लोगों के लिए एक बहुत गंभीर समस्या थी उनके पास लिखित नया नियम विद्यमान नहीं होना, जैसा कि आज हमारे पास है, और इससे शैतान का कार्य और भी सरल हो गया क्योंकि सभी शिक्षाएँ या तो मौखिक दी जाती थीं, अथवा विभिन्न स्थानों पर स्थित लोगों या कलीसियाओं को लिखी गई पत्रियों के द्वारा दी जाती थीं। नीचे दिए गए थोड़े से उदाहरणों को देखते समय, कृपया इस एक बात पर भी ध्यान कीजिए, कि वे कौन लोग थे जिनके द्वारा शैतान ने इन फेर-बदल की, तथा वचन को भ्रष्ट करने वाली बातों को मण्डलियों में घुसाया था। आप देखेंगे कि लगभग हर बार धार्मिक अगुवों या कलीसियाओं से संबंधित प्रमुख लोगों के द्वारा ही शैतान ने यह कार्य करवाया है। अनेकों में से कुछ उदाहरण हैं:

·        प्रेरितों 20:28-30 में, पौलुस बंदी हो कर रोम जाते समय, मार्ग में इफिसुस की मण्डली के अगुवों से मिलता है, और उन्हें उन लोगों के बारे में सचेत करता है जो आकर टेढ़ी-मेढ़ी बातें प्रचार करेंगे और लोगों को खींच कर ले जाएँगे; और वह विशेष रूप से यह भी कहता है कि ऐसे कुछ लोग उन्हीं में से – कलीसिया के उन अगुवों में से, जिन्हें वह संबोधित कर रहा था, भी उठ खड़े होंगे।

·        गलातियों 1:6-9 में पौलुस गलातिया की मण्डली के विश्वासियों को, उनके गलत सुसमाचार के पीछे चल निकलने के लिए, डांट रहा है; और वह भी सही सुसमाचार ग्रहण करने के शीघ्र ही बाद। लेकिन साथ ही इस बात पर भी ध्यान दीजिए कि पौलुस किन के लिए कहता है कि वे गलत सुसमाचार प्रचार कर सकते हैं – वह स्वयं अपने, अपने साथियों, या किसी स्वर्गदूत के द्वारा यह होने की बात करता है! अर्थात वे लोग जिन्हें सुसमाचार प्रचार सौंपा गया है, उसकी समझ दी गई है, वे ही गलत प्रचार करने के लिए बहकाए और भरमाए जा सकते हैं। यह एक बार फिर इस बात की पुष्टि करता है कि शैतान बड़ी चालाकी से धर्मी लोगों को, वचन का वरदान पाए हुए प्रचारकों और शिक्षकों को, परमेश्वर और उसके वचन के विपरीत बातें सिखाने और प्रचार करने के लिए उपयोग करता है।

·        इसी प्रकार से 2 तीमुथियुस 2:17-18, तथा 2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 2:1-2 में, पौलुस उस गलत सन्देश का सुधार करता है जो कुछ प्रचारकों द्वारा प्रचार किया जा रहा था और कलीसियाओं को परेशान कर रहा था, कि प्रभु का दूसरा आगमन हो चुका है, और वे लोग पीछे छूट गए हैं; इस प्रकार से उन्हें भरमाया जा रहा था कि उनका विश्वास करना व्यर्थ है। कलीसियाओं के मान्यता प्राप्त प्रचारक ही गलत प्रचार कर रहे थे।

·        प्रेरित यूहन्ना, 1 यूहन्ना 4:1 में उन झूठे भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के लिए सचेत करता है जो सँसार में फ़ैल चुके थे, प्रभु यीशु और उद्धार की गलत शिक्षाओं के साथ।

·        प्रकाशितवाक्य अध्याय 2 और 3 की सात कलीसियाओं के बारे में विचार कीजिए, और प्रभु के पास उनमें से पांच कलीसियाओं के अगुवों के लिए कितनी गंभीर ताड़ना की बातें थीं, उनके गलत शिक्षाओं और सिद्धांतों के कारण।

    यदि आप इस तथ्य पर थोड़ा गंभीरता से विचार करें, नए नियम में, सभी पत्रियाँ या तो व्यक्तियों को अथवा कलीसियाओं को लिखी गई थीं, मुख्यतः, उनमें घुस आई बहुत सी गलतफहमियों, गलत धारणाओं, और गलत शिक्षाओं को सही करने के लिए। दूसरे शब्दों में, जैसे ही मसीही शिक्षाएँ फैलने लगीं, उसी के साथ ही शैतान द्वारा उनके बिगाड़े और भ्रष्ट किए हुए स्वरूप भी फैलने लगे, यदि सही शिक्षाओं से अधिक तेज़ी से नहीं तो कम से कम उनकी गति से तो अवश्य ही। इसीलिए लगभग आधा नया नियम, अर्थात प्रेरितों के काम और प्रकाशितवाक्य पुस्तकों के मध्य की सारी पत्रियाँ, सभी इसी एक उद्देश्य के अन्तर्गत लिखी गईं – शैतान द्वारा वचन और उसके अर्थ में लाए गए बिगाड़ को सही करने के लिए। यदि आप इस बात का अध्ययन करें कि ये शैतानी शिक्षाएँ और सिद्धान्त कलीसियाओं और मण्डलियों कैसे घुसे, कैसे जम कर बैठ गए, और फिर औरों तक भी फैला दिए गए, तो आप को यह जानकार अचरज होगा कि इन भ्रष्ट शैतानी बातों को कलीसियाओं में घुसने देने और पेट बना लेने में विभिन्न धार्मिक अगुवों और प्रमुख लोगों का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है, और इसमें बहुत बड़ी सहायता और समर्थन उन अगुवों के अंध-भक्तों का, तथा मण्डली के लोगों द्वारा बिना कोई प्रश्न उठाए हर बात को चुपचाप स्वीकार कर लेने की प्रवृत्ति का भी रहा है।

    अगले लेख में हम देखेंगे कि वर्तमान में, कलीसियाओं और मण्डलियों में यह वचन के साथ छेड़-छाड़ और बिगाड़ कैसे हो रहा है, तथा कैसे पहचाना जाए कि कोई धार्मिक अगुवा, अनजाने में ही परमेश्वर के वचन में बिगाड़ लाने के लिए, शैतान द्वारा संभवतः फँसा लिया गया है, बिना इस के बारे में कोई जानकारी के, या इसका एहसास किए।

    यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Altering God’s Word – 12

 

    While considering the stewardship of a Christian Believer towards God’s Word the Bible, in the previous articles we have seen some of the various subtle and inapparent ways by which Satan alters God’s Word. Earlier, it had been stated that Satan does this alteration in mainly two ways: one is what we have been seeing in its various forms, retaining the actual Biblical text but giving it meanings and implications contrary to Biblical teachings. As we have seen in the preceding articles, Satan’s most convincing way of doing and successfully implementing the alteration is by getting it done advertently or inadvertently through God’s committed Believers, Church leaders or elders, Bible preachers or teachers, etc. These religious people keep thinking and believing that they are serving God and propagating His Word, without realizing that very cunningly Satan has trapped them into working for him, and they are actually preaching and teachings his distorted and corrupted versions of God’s Word. Satan’s second method of tampering with God’s Word, which we will see today, is to alter the very text of the Scriptures by adding to or taking away from the original text given by God, and thereby change the meanings and implications of God’s Word. And Satan gets this also done through these same religious people.

    This was evident even at the time of the Lord Jesus’s earthly ministry. The religious leaders of that time had made many alterations in God’s Word, to make it suit their convenience and even greed. As we read through the ‘Sermon on the Mount’ given by the Lord in Matthew chapters 5-7, very frequently we come across the Lord Jesus saying ‘you have heard’, ‘it has been said to you’, etc., about some Scriptural teachings, and He then follows it up by saying ‘but I say to you’ and then states the corrected form of what was wrongly being preached and taught to the general people by the religious leaders of His time. Similarly, in Matthew 15:1-15, to the Scribes and Pharisees the Lord Jesus says “And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9). Both these examples well illustrate how the religious leaders had altered and corrupted the Word of God, even at the time of earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus.

    After the ascension of the Lord Jesus and the preaching of the gospel of salvation through faith in Him, as the Churches spread and Christian Believers began to increase everywhere, Satan again planted these altered forms of teachings of the Christian Faith. One serious handicap at that time was the lack of the written and compiled New Testament text, as we have in out hands now, and this made Satan’s work much easier, since all the teachings were either orally given, or were in form of letters written to persons or Churches in various locations. While looking at the few examples that are given below, please keep noting the people who were used by Satan to carry out this alteration and corruption of God’s Word. You will see that practically every time it were the religious leaders or prominent people from or related to the Church, whom Satan used. Just a few of the many examples are:

·        In Acts 20:28-30, Paul on his way to Rome as a prisoner, meets with the elders of the Ephesian Church, and warns them of people who will come in to preach perverse things and draw people away; and he specifically states that some these perverse people will arise from amongst them – the very Church Elders he was addressing, and warning.

·        In Galatians 1:6-9, the Apostle Paul is admonishing the Galatian Believers for turning to a false gospel, and that too soon after receiving the true gospel. But also note who Paul refers to as the ones who are likely to preach this false gospel – he himself, his companions, even an angel from heaven! In other words, those who have been entrusted with the gospel and given the understanding about it, the preachers and teachers gifted with preaching and teaching the Word of God, can be deceived into preaching and teaching false things. This again goes to affirm that Satan very cleverly uses the godly people, to preach and teach things contrary to God and His Word.

·        Similarly in 2 Timothy 2:17-18, and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2, Paul corrects the wrong message that was being preached by some preachers and was disturbing the Churches, that the second coming of the Lord Jesus had already happened, but they were left behind; thus, making them think that their faith was vain. Recognized preachers of the Churches were preaching wrong things.

·        The Apostle John, in 1 John 4:1 warns against many false prophets who had gone out into the world with a wrong doctrine about the Lord Jesus and salvation.

·        Consider the seven Churches of Revelations chapters 2 and 3, and what severe admonition the Lord had for those Elders having the charge of those Churches; for five of those seven Churches, for their wrong doctrines and teachings.

    If you give it serious thought, in the New Testament, all the letters, were written to persons or Churches mainly to correct the many misunderstandings, misconceptions, and wrong teachings that had crept into the lives of the Christian Believers. In other words, as soon as the Christian teachings spread, their corrupted versions from Satan also spread, at least at the same pace if not faster. Therefore, about half of the New Testament text, i.e., all the letters between the books of Acts and Revelation, were all written for this one main purpose – to correct the distortions and misinterpretations that Satan had brought into the Word. If you study how these various satanic teachings and doctrines infiltrated and settled into the Churches and congregations, and then spread to others from them, you will be surprised to see that in letting these satanic corruptions enter and settle down in the Churches and congregations, the various religious leaders and elders had a very major role to play, which was of course strongly helped and supported by the blind-followers of those leaders as well as the tendency of passive unquestioning acceptance by the congregation.

    In the next article we will see about the manner in which this tampering with god’s Word and distorting it is happening in the Churches and Assemblies in the present days, and how to recognize that a religious leader may have been ensnared by Satan into inadvertently corrupting God’s Word, without being aware of it, realizing it.

    परमेश्वर के वचन का भण्डारी होने की अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी के निर्वाह में उस से चूक करवाने के लिए शैतान ने मसीही विश्वासियों के विरुद्ध जो युक्तियाँ बनाई हैं, हमने उन में से तीन पिछले लेख में देखी थीं। ये थीं: पहली, लोगों को इस लालच में डालकर बहकाना कि यदि वे उसके कहे के अनुसार करेंगे तो बहुत लाभ पाएँगे, किन्तु वास्तविक दुष्परिणामों से अनभिज्ञ रखना; दूसरी, परमेश्वर के प्रतिबद्ध लोगों, कलीसिया के प्रमुख लोगों तथा अगुवों, बाइबल के प्रचारकों तथा शिक्षकों आदि को भरमा कर उनसे बाइबल के लेखों को बाइबल के विपरीत अर्थों और अभिप्रायों के साथ दुरुपयोग करवाना; और तीसरा, मनुष्य की इस प्रवृत्ति का कि जो आकर्षक और रोचक दिखता है, तर्कपूर्ण होता है उसको स्वीकार करना और उसका पालन करना, परमेश्वर के निर्देशों के अनुसार नहीं बल्कि अपनी ही समझ और बुद्धि के अनुसार कार्य करना; इनके द्वारा शैतान विश्वासियों से भी परमेश्वर की अनाज्ञाकारिता करवाता रहता है।

    हर तरह के ईसाइयों या मसीहियों में एक बहुत हानिकारक आदत सामान्यतः और सार्वजनिक रीति से पाई जाती है, और यह आदत शैतान के लिए अपनी न केवल उपरोक्त तीनों युक्तियों को, वरन हर एक युक्ति को सफलता से लागू करने में बहुत सहायक रहती है। यह हानिकारक आदत है परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल से दूर रहना, या फिर बहुत हुआ तो थोड़ा सा समय निकालकर या तो उसे हलके में बस यूं ही पढ़ अथवा सुन लेना, या फिर लापरवाही से अथवा एक औपचारिकता निभाने के लिए यह करना; जबकि लोगों का मुख्य समय और उद्यम सँसार की बातों और कार्यों के लिए होता है, उन के लिए जो अन्ततः नष्ट होने ही वाली हैं। और इसीलिए लोग तथा विश्वासी शैतान की युक्तियों में सरलता से फंसते और गिरते रहते हैं, शैतान को उन्हें बहका कर हानि और नाश में ले जाने में कोई दिक्कत नहीं होती है (यशायाह 5:13; होशे 4:6)। बहुत ही कम ऐसे मसीही होते हैं जो अपने जीवनों में परमेश्वर के वचन को उसकी उचित प्राथमिकता, प्रधानता, और आज्ञाकारिता देते हैं।

    मसीहियत में, शैतान ने उपरोक्त तीनों युक्तियों का बहुत सफल उपयोग किया है, और करता चला आ रहा है। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि अधिकांश मसीहियों में न तो यह क्षमता है, और न ही यह परवाह है कि उन्हें जो प्रस्तुत किया जाता है उसमें सत्य और असत्य में भिन्नता को कर सकें या पहचान सकें। परमेश्वर के वचन का दुरुपयोग, अर्थात, बाइबल के सही लेखों का बाइबल के विपरीत उपयोग, शैतान बहुत चतुराई और चालाकी से करवाता है। वह बड़े चुपके से, उन्हें इस बात का एहसास भी न होने देने के साथ कि उन्हें गलती के लिए उपयोग किया जा रहा है, परमेश्वर के प्रतिबद्ध लोगों, कलीसिया के प्रमुख लोगों तथा अगुवों, बाइबल के प्रचारकों तथा शिक्षकों आदि को भरमा कर उनसे बाइबल के लेखों को बाइबल के विपरीत अर्थों और अभिप्रायों के साथ प्रस्तुत करवाता है। आइए देखते हैं कि शैतान किस तरह से परमेश्वर के इन भक्त लोगों को ही परमेश्वर के लोगों को उनके उद्धार के बारे में बहकाने और भरमाने, तथा उद्धार के जीवन को जीने के लिए उन्हें परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह पर भरोसा रखने की बजाए उनके अपने ही कर्मों पर भरोसा रखने के व्यर्थ जाल में फँसा लेता है।

    

    मसीहियों में परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में सही होने, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य होने, और इस पार्थिव जीवन की समाप्ति पर परमेश्वर के साथ स्वर्ग में होने के बारे में दो बहुत प्रचलित, और सामान्य किन्तु बहुत गलत धारणाएँ व्याप्त हैं। एक है कि यह भले होने तथा भले काम करने के द्वारा किया जा सकता है; और दूसरी है कि यदि व्यक्ति भले होने तथा भले काम करने के द्वारा धार्मिकता की जीवन-शैली बनाकर नहीं रखे, तो वह अपने इस विशेषाधिकार को, जो उसने प्राप्त किया है, खो देगा। यह बहुत दुर्भाग्य की बात है कि इन दोनों गलत, बाइबल के विपरीत धारणाओं की कलीसिया, मण्डली, तथा मसीहियों में उपस्थिति होने, उनके बने रहने, प्रसार होते रहने में, अनजाने में अथवा जान बूझकर, परमेश्वर के प्रतिबद्ध लोगों, कलीसिया के प्रमुख लोगों तथा अगुवों, बाइबल के प्रचारकों तथा शिक्षकों आदि का बहुत प्रमुख और महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है। इसे लागू करने की शैतान की युक्ति को समझने के लिए, हम पहले बहुत संक्षेप में, यह देख और समझ लेते हैं कि बचाए जाने, नया-जन्म या उद्धार पाने, मसीही होने का क्या अर्थ और अभिप्राय है। यह अपने आप में एक सम्पूर्ण विषय है जिसे पहले के लेखों में विस्तार के साथ लिखा जा चुका है। लेकिन बहुत संक्षेप में, इस से संबंधित प्रासंगिक बाइबल की शिक्षाएँ हैं:

·        एक सच्चा मसीही, सच में प्रभु यीशु का शिष्य होता है (मत्ती 28:19-20; प्रेरितों 11:26)।

·        बाइबल के अनुसार मसीहियत न तो कभी कोई धर्म थी, और न है, बल्कि यह हमेशा से ही प्रभु यीशु मसीह में विश्वास का जीवन जीना, उसे अपना जीवन समर्पण करना, और उस ही का अनुसरण करना रही है। जो प्रभु यीशु का अनुसरण करते थे, मसीहियत के आरम्भ में, उन्हें “पन्थ / मार्ग के लोग” कहा जाता था (प्रेरितों 9:2; 19:23; 22:4; 24:14, 22)।

·        मसीही विश्वास कभी भी वंशागत नहीं होता है; कभी भी, कोई भी, स्वाभाविक जन्म से “मसीही” नहीं होता है। हर किसी को, उन्हें भी जो बहुत धार्मिक हैं तथा पवित्र शास्त्र के बहुत ज्ञाता हैं, जैसे कि निकुदेमुस, को भी परमेश्वर का राज्य देखने और उस में प्रवेश करने के लिए नया जन्म प्राप्त करना अनिवार्य है (यूहन्ना 3:3, 5)। और किसी भी तरीके से यह संभव नहीं है, किन्हीं रीतियों, परम्पराओं, नियमों, या पर्वों को मानने अथवा मनाने से भी नहीं। बाइबल के अनुसार नया जन्म पाने के अतिरिक्त परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश के लिए और कोई मार्ग नहीं है।

·        यह नया जन्म प्राप्त करना केवल विश्वास ही के द्वारा है न कि किसी प्रकार के कर्मों के द्वारा। यह केवल पापों के पश्चाताप करने और प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करने से परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह के द्वारा होता है, कर्मों से नहीं (रोमियों 10:8-10; इफिसियों 2:5, 8-9)।

·        कलीसिया एक समूह है, उनका “जो मसीह यीशु में पवित्र किए गए, और पवित्र होने के लिये बुलाए गए हैं; और उन सब के नाम भी जो हर जगह हमारे और अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम की प्रार्थना करते हैं” (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:2)। अर्थात कलीसिया कोई डिनॉमिनेशन, या मत नहीं है, और न ही उनका समूह है जो कुछ नियमों, रीतियों, और परंपराओं का निर्वाह करते हैं; बल्कि उनका जो प्रभु यीशु मसीह के प्रति पूर्णतः समर्पित और प्रतिबद्ध हैं।

·        यह वास्तविक और बाइबल के अनुरूप कलीसिया एक ही है, सार्वभौमिक है, सारे सँसार भर और अपने इतिहास में एकमात्र है, और इसे ही ‘प्रभु की देह’ तथा ‘प्रभु की दुल्हन’ कहा गया है (1 कुरिन्थियों 12:12, 27; इफिसियों 5:23, 29-30)। प्रत्येक नया जन्म पाया हुआ विश्वासी व्यक्तिगत रीति प्रभु की इसी देह का एक सदस्य है।

·        केवल यही एकमात्र, सार्वभौमिक, विश्वव्यापी कलीसिया ही सँसार से स्वर्ग को उठाई जाएगी, अनंतकाल के लिए प्रभु परमेश्वर यीशु मसीह के साथ रहने के लिए। इसीलिए, हर एक के लिए जो बात सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है, वह है कि क्या वह इस कलीसिया का सदस्य है अथवा नहीं? इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है कि कौन किस डिनॉमिनेशन या मत का सदस्य है, कितनी पीढ़ियों से है, और कितने समय से है। महत्व केवल इस बात का है कि क्या आप ने नया जन्म पाया है और प्रभु की इस देह, इस दुल्हन, इस विश्वव्यापी कलीसिया के सदस्य बन गए हैं या नहीं!

 

    शैतान बाइबल के इन तथ्यों का किस प्रकार से परमेश्वर के प्रतिबद्ध लोगों, कलीसिया के प्रमुख लोगों तथा अगुवों, बाइबल के प्रचारकों तथा शिक्षकों आदि के द्वारा गलत व्याख्या करवाता है, उनका दुरुपयोग करता है, ताकि लोग परमेश्वर के सच्चे और खरे भरमाए और भटकाए जा सकें, इसे हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे।   

    यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Altering God’s Word – 8

 

    In considering the strategies of Satan to make a Christian Believer falter in his stewardship towards God’s Word the Bible, in the previous article, we had seen about three amongst the various strategies that Satan has devised against the Christian Believers. These were: first, enticing people through promising them great benefits through doing what he says, but hiding the actual harmful consequences; second, induce God’s committed Believers, Church leaders and elders, Bible preachers and teachers, etc., into misusing the Bible texts by giving them unBiblical meanings and implications; and third, he takes help of the human tendency of falling for something that seems appealing and logical; Satan makes Believers disobey God, by making them trust more on their own thinking and logic, than on God’s instructions.

    A very strong habit, universally and uniformly rampant amongst all varieties of Christians, immensely helps Satan in implementing not only these three, but all of his other strategies as well. This pernicious habit rampant amongst Christians is of either staying away from God’s Word the Bible, or at the most according it a little time of a casual reading or merely listening, perfunctorily, or as a formality; while their main priority for their time and efforts are the things and works of the world, that will soon perish anyway; and therefore, they remain gullible to Satan’s ploys. Therefore, it is not surprising at all that Satan can so easily misguide and mislead most Christians into loss and destruction (Isaiah 5:13; Hosea 4:6). Rare are the Christians who give God’s Word its due priority, prominence, and obedience in their lives.

    In Christendom, Satan has very successfully employed the three above-mentioned strategies, and continues to do so. This is because most Christians have neither the ability, nor the care or concern to discern the truth from the untruths that he gets presented to them. In the misuse of God’s Word – using the right Biblical texts and facts, in the wrong unBiblical way, Satan very cleverly and subtly, without their even realizing they are being misused, uses God’s committed Believers, Church leaders and elders, Bible preachers and teachers, etc. Let us see how he gets these godly people to misguide God’s people about their salvation, and thereby entangle them in vain efforts of relying upon their works rather than God’s grace regarding living their life of salvation.

    There are two very common but very wrong notions amongst the Christians regarding being right with God, being acceptable to God, and being qualified to be in heaven with God after one’s temporal life on earth comes to an end. One is that this can be achieved by being good and doing good works; the second is that if a person does not maintain a righteous life through being good and doing good, he will lose this privilege, this special status he has attained. Very unfortunately, for the presence, continuation, and propagation of these false, unBiblical notions in the Churches or Assemblies, knowingly or unknowingly, God’s committed Believers, Church leaders and elders, Bible preachers and teachers, etc. have a major role to play. To understand Satan’s manipulation in implementing this, let us first understand, very briefly, what it means and implies to be saved, or Born-Again, or have salvation, and be a Christian. This is an entire subject in itself, that has been dealt with earlier in some preceding articles. But, in short, the relevant Biblical teachings are that:

·        A true Christian is a truly a disciple of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 11:26).

·        Biblical Christianity never was and never is a religion, rather it always has been a way of life of Faith the Lord Jesus, of surrendering one’s life to Him, and following Him. Those who followed the Lord Jesus, at the beginning of Christianity, were known as ‘people of the Way’ (Acts 9:2; 19:23; 22:4; 24:14, 22).

·        The Christian Faith is never inherited; No one is ever born a ‘Christian’, by natural birth. Every one, including the most religious and those most knowledgeable about the Scriptures, e.g., Nicodemus, must be Born-Again to be able to see and enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5). According to the Bible, nothing else, no observance or fulfilment of any rituals, traditions, rules, or festivals, nothing other than being Born-Again will ever qualify anyone to be in the Kingdom of God.

·        This, being Born-Again is by faith and not by any works of any kind. It is only by the grace of God through repentance of sins and coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 10:8-10; Ephesians 2:5, 8-9).

·        The Church is the collective group of “those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours” (1 Corinthians 1:2); i.e., the Church is not a denomination, or sect, nor those who fulfil certain rules, rituals and traditions, but those who are completely committed and surrendered to the Lord Jesus.

·        This true and Biblical Church is one, is universal, is the same all over the world and all throughout its history, and has been called the ‘body of Christ’ and the ‘Bride of Christ’ (1 Corinthians 12:12, 27; Ephesians 5:23, 29-30). Every Born-Again Christian Believer is individually a member of this Body of Christ.

·        It is only this one universal Church, this Body and Bride of Christ which will be delivered from the world and taken up into heaven, to eternally be with the Lord God Jesus Christ. Therefore, for everyone, what matters is not whether they are members of any particular denomination or sect, nor for how many generations and for how long they have been the members, but whether or not they have been Born-Again and become a member of this Church, this Body, this Bride of Christ.

 

    How Satan misinterprets and misuses these Biblical facts to misguide people through God’s committed Believers, Church leaders and elders, Bible preachers and teachers, etc. we will see in the next article.

    If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
