पिछले कुछ लेखों में हम 1 कुरिन्थियों 4:6 से देखते आ रहे हैं कि पौलुस कैसे स्वयं उस से जो परमेश्वर के वचन में लिखा हुआ है, कभी भी आगे नहीं बढ़ा, यद्यपि वह पवित्रशास्त्र की व्याख्या करने और प्रचार करने के लिये अति उत्तम प्रशिक्षण पाया हुआ था। और, उसने अपने तथा अपुल्लोस के उदाहरण के द्वारा, कलीसिया को भी यही करने की शिक्षा दी। साथ ही उसने बलपूर्वक यह निर्देश भी दिया कि कलीसिया में किसी भी कारण से, कोई भी गुट या विभाजन नहीं होना है। और न ही मसीही विश्वासियों को प्रभु का अनुसरण करने के स्थान पर, अगुवों या मनुष्यों का अनुसरण करना है। आज हम कुरिन्थुस की मण्डली को लिखी पौलुस की दूसरी पत्री के एक पद को देखना आरम्भ करेंगे, यह सीखने के लिए कि लोग किस प्रकार से और क्यों, अपनी स्वार्थ-सिद्धि और साँसारिक लाभ अर्जित करने के लिए, परमेश्वर के वचन में लिखी हुई बातों से आगे जाते हैं।

पौलुस 2 कुरिन्थियों 2:17 में लिखता है, “क्योंकि हम उन बहुतों के समान नहीं, जो परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करते हैं; परन्तु मन की सच्चाई से, और परमेश्वर की ओर से परमेश्वर को उपस्थित जानकर मसीह में बोलते हैं।” यहाँ पर पौलुस अपनी सेवकाई तथा “उन बहुतों” की सेवकाई के मध्य एक तुलना प्रस्तुत करता है – क्योंकि दोनों, पौलुस, और वे - “उन बहुतों”, परमेश्वर के वचन से ही प्रचार करते थे। किन्तु “उन बहुतों” के प्रचार और पौलुस के प्रचार में बहुत बड़ा अंतर था। इसी से, हम बाइबल में से ही देखते हैं कि सुसमाचार के प्रचार और परमेश्वर के वचन की शिक्षाएँ दिए जाने के आरम्भ से ही, “बहुत” से झूठे प्रचारक और गलत शिक्षाएं देने वाले उठ खड़े हुए थे और परमेश्वर के वचन की गलत व्याख्या करने, गलत बातें प्रचार करने, सिखाने, तथा लोगों को गलत मार्गों पर डालने लग गए थे; तथा लोगों में उनकी स्वीकृति और सम्मान भी था।

 

पहली कलीसिया के समय से ही, शैतान ने अपने बहुत से लोगों को परमेश्वर के वचन की शिक्षाओं और प्रचार को बिगाड़ने, उसे भ्रष्ट करने तथा लोगों को बहका कर गलत मार्ग पर डालने के लिए छोड़ दिया था (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:3)। जो विश्वासी उनके द्वारा बहकाए जाते थे, वे यही मानते हुए चलते रहते थे कि वे सही मार्ग पर हैं, और सही अगुवों तथा शिक्षकों की सही शिक्षाओं और व्याख्याओं को ही सुन एवं अनुसरण कर रहे हैं। जबकि वास्तव में शैतान और उसके दूतों ने (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15), उन्हें, उनके वास्तविकता को पहचाने बिना ही गलत मार्गों पर डाल दिया था। इसीलिए प्रेरित यूहन्ना ने अपनी पहली पत्री में विश्वासियों को लिखा था कि हर किसी की बातों पर विश्वास न करें, परन्तु पहले उन लोगों और उनकी शिक्षाओं को सावधानीपूर्वक जाँच-परख लें, और सही पाए जाने पर ही उन पर भरोसा करें (1 यूहन्ना 4:1-6)। पौलुस ने भी यही बात एक ही वाक्य में कही है, “सब बातों को परखो: जो अच्छी है उसे पकड़े रहो” (1 थिस्स्लुनीकियों 5:21)।

हमारे आज के मुख्य पद, 2 कुरिन्थियों 2:17, में पौलुस उनकी और अपनी सेवकाई के मध्य एक तुलना प्रस्तुत करता है। पौलुस “परमेश्वर को उपस्थित जानकर” बोलता था, इस एहसास के साथ कि जो कुछ भी वह कह रहा है, उसके लिए एक दिन वह परमेश्वर के सामने जवाबदेह होगा। इसकी तुलना में ये गलत प्रचार और शिक्षा देने वाले परमेश्वर के वचन में “मिलावट” करते थे, अर्थात् लाभ कमाने के लिए वचन का अनुचित रीति से उपयोग करते थे, वचन को “बेचते” थे। तो, शैतान के ये दूत सुसमाचार और परमेश्वर के वचन को स्वार्थ-सिद्धि के लिए, उस से कमाई करने के लिए प्रचार करते थे, सिखाते थे, न कि लोगों को पापों से क्षमा और उद्धार का सुसमाचार देने के लिये। इसकी तुलना में पौलुस ने 1 कुरिन्थियों 9:7-18 में अपने जीवन से दिखाया कि, कहीं लोग गलत न समझ लें, उसने सुसमाचार प्रचार के लिये, उसे परमेश्वर से दिये गये विशेषाधिकारों और लाभों का भी प्रयोग नहीं किया। इसके विपरीत, वह अपनी जीविका के लिये स्वयं परिश्रम करता था, और अपनी आमदनी में से अपने साथियों और कलीसिया की भी सहायता किया करता था (प्रेरितों 20:34-35; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 2:7-10; 2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 3:7-9)।

   

जैसे पौलुस किया करता था, गलत प्रचार और शिक्षाएँ देने वाले ये लोग भी परमेश्वर के सेवक बनकर यात्राएँ कर के स्थान-स्थान पर जाया करते थे। जबकि पौलुस नई कलीसियाएँ स्थापित करने में प्रयासरत रहता था, उसकी तुलना में ये “बहुतेरे” लोग जो कलीसियाएँ स्थापित हो चुकी थीं उन्हीं में जाते थे। वे लोग उन स्थानों पर विद्यमान मसीही विश्वासियों के सामने अपने आप को परमेश्वर के वचन के प्रचारक और शिक्षक प्रस्तुत करते थे। और अपनी पुष्टि के लिये वे बहुधा अपने साथ, जिन स्थानों से वे आए थे, वहाँ से अपने बारे में लिए गए सिफारिश के पत्र भी दिखाते थे (2 कुरिन्थियों 3:1-2 के साथ तुलना कीजिए)। फिर वे कुछ पैसा लेकर, अपने ही सिद्धान्तों और शिक्षाओं को बताते और सिखाते थे, ऐसी बातों को जिन्हें श्रोता सुनना पसंद करते थे; न कि परमेश्वर के वचन से किसी खरी और सही शिक्षा और सिद्धांत को (2 तिमुथियुस 4:3-4)। इनकी तुलना में पौलुस अपनी सेवकाई का गुण और पहचान बताता है, कि वह खराई से बोलता था, मनुष्यों को नहीं वरन परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करने वाला हो कर बोलता था (गलातियों 1:10-11)।

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Appropriately Handling God’s Word – 14

 

In the previous few articles, we have been seeing from 1 Corinthians 4:6 about how Paul never ever went beyond what has already been written in God’s Word, although he was highly qualified to interpret and teach the Scriptures. And, by putting himself and Apollos as examples, he taught the Church to also do the same. Paul also strongly emphasized and taught against the Church getting divided into any groups and factions on any grounds. He also taught against Christian Believers following elders, or men instead of following the Lord. Today we will begin to consider a verse from Paul’s second letter to the Church in Corinth, to see an example of how people go beyond what has been written in God’s Word for selfish purposes and worldly gains.

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 2:17 “For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.” Paul, here presents a contrast between his ministry, and the ministry of “so many” – since both, Paul and these - the “so many,” were preaching from God’s Word. But there was a glaring difference between the preaching of the “so many,” and Paul’s preaching. Through this we see from the Bible that from the very beginning of the preaching of the gospel and God’s Word, “many” false preachers had also started preaching and teaching wrong things, misinterpreting God’s Word, and misleading the people; and people had not only accepted them, but honored them as well.

 

Right from the time of the first Church, Satan had sent out many of his agents to subvert the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, and mislead people (2 Corinthians 11:3). Those Believers who were being misled, would continue to believe that they are on the right path, listening to and following the right teachings and interpretations from the right elders and preachers. But actually, unknowingly they were listening to and following Satan and his angels (2 Corinthians 11:13-15); without their realizing it, they had been deceived and put them onto the wrong path. That is why the Apostle John in his first letter wrote to the Believers not to believe everyone, but to first carefully examine and check their teachings, and believe only if found correct (1 John 4:1-6). Paul also said the same in one sentence, in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 “Test all things; hold fast what is good.”

In our lead verse, 2 Corinthians 2:17, Paul presents a contrast between his ministry and theirs. As we see from this verse, Paul spoke “in the sight of God”, i.e., speaking with a sense of accountability to God about whatever he was preaching and teaching. In contrast, the errant preachers and teachers were “peddling,” which means to either sell, or to use inappropriately for gaining profit, God’s Word. So, what these agents of Satan were doing was using the gospel, using God’s Word for selfish purposes, to either promote and exalt themselves, or to make an earning out of preaching and teaching it, instead of spreading the good news of forgiveness of sins and salvation. In contrast, Paul did not even claim or utilize his rightful privileges, sanctioned by God, as a minister of God and preacher of God’s Word, lest he be misunderstood in any way (1 Corinthians 9:7-18). Instead, he worked for a living, and used his earnings to help his colleagues and the Church (Acts 20:34-35; 1 Thessalonians 2:7-10; 2 Thessalonians 3:7-9).

Like Paul, these errant preachers too would travel to different places as ministers of God. Whereas, Paul used to labor to establish new Churches, these “many” would go to places where Churches had already been established.  In those established Churches, amongst the existing Christian Believers, they would present themselves as preachers and teachers of God’s Word. To affirm themselves, they would often bring with them letters of recommendation from the Churches and places they had preached earlier (contrast with 2 Corinthians 3:1-2). Then for a fee, they would preach and teach on their own, things that were pleasing to the audience, instead of sound doctrine from God’s Word (2 Timothy 4:3-4). In contrast, Paul gives the characteristics of his ministry, that he spoke with sincerity, not as a ‘man pleaser’ but from God, as a ‘God pleaser’ (Galatians 1:10-11).

You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

सही सुसमाचार के गुण (1)

        हमने पिछले लेखों में देखा है कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है: जो बात परमेश्वर के वचन में पहले से दी हुई नहीं है, वह गलत है, झूठी है; और उन शिक्षाओं को देने वाला शैतानी भ्रामक बातों का प्रचार करने वाला है।

        पिछले लेखों में, प्रभु यीशु के बारे में बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली झूठी बातों को देखने के बाद, फिर हमने पवित्र आत्मा के बारे में बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत बातों के बारे में बाइबल के तथ्यों को देखा था। इसके बाद हमने सुसमाचार से सम्बन्धित गलत शिक्षाओं पर विचार करना आरम्भ किया है। इसके लिए हमें पहले सुसमाचार के बारे में बाइबल के तथ्यों को जानना, समझना, और सीखना आवश्यक है। इस  विषय के परिचय में हमने देखा था कि प्रभु यीशु का सुसमाचार पृथ्वी पर किसी राज्य, कोई सांसारिक धन-सम्पत्ति, या भौतिक सम्पन्नता के बारे में नहीं है, वरन्, मनुष्य के परमेश्वर के राज्य के प्रवेश प्राप्त कर सकने के बारे में है। हमने देखा था कि परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश के लिए, मनुष्य का पहला कदम है अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करना, और यह सभी के लिए समान रूप से महत्वपूर्ण और लागू है। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है कि किसी का धर्म, मान्यताएँ, धारणाएं, या समुदाय क्या है। चाहे उसका परिवार कई पीढ़ियों से "ईसाई या मसीही" रहा हो, और वह स्वयँ तथा उसके परिवार के लोग अपने आप को "परमेश्वर का जन" मानते चले आए हों। फिर हमने यहाँ से आगे बढ़कर देखा था कि सुसमाचार क्या है, और उसका अर्थ क्या है। हमने समझा था कि सुसमाचार परमेश्वर का सन्देश है, समस्त मानव जाति के लिए, बिना किसी भी धर्म, जाति, मत, आयु, मान्यता आदि के कारण किसी अन्तर के, कि पापों से बचाया जाना, उद्धार पाना, केवल प्रभु यीशु पर विश्वास लाने ही के द्वारा है, और यह सभी के लिए मुफ़्त में उपलब्ध है। सुसमाचार कोई परम्परा, रीति, या विधि नहीं है जिसकी औपचारिक पूर्ति कर लेने से व्यक्ति इतना "धर्मी" अथवा "धार्मिक" होने के किसी ऐसे उच्च स्तर पर पहुँच जाता है, कि परमेश्वर उसे अपने राज्य में प्रवेश देने के लिए बाध्य हो जाता है। सुसमाचार, व्यक्ति के जीवन में, उसके द्वारा अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करने, प्रभु यीशु से पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगने, और अपना जीवन प्रभु यीशु को समर्पित करने के साथ कार्यकारी एवँ प्रभावी होता है। पिछल लेखों में हमने शैतान द्वारा उपयोग किए जाने वाली विभिन्न युक्तियों और बातों को भी देखा था जिनसे वह सच्चे और जीवन-दायक सुसमाचार को भ्रष्ट कर देता है, बिगाड़ देता है, और उसे अप्रभावी बना देता है। आज से हम सच्चे सुसमाचार के गुणों के बारे में बाइबल के आधार पर विचार करना आरम्भ करेंगे, जिससे कि हम सुसमाचार के बारे में सही और गलत शिक्षाओं की पहचान कर सकें। 

        कलीसिया के आरंभ से ही शैतान ने गलत शिक्षाओं और झूठे प्रचारकों के द्वारा सुसमाचार को बिगाड़ना, उसे अप्रभावी बनाने वाली बातों के साथ मिलाकर लोगों में फैलाना आरंभ कर दिया था। उसका उद्देश्य यही था कि लोगों को भ्रामक बातों में फँसा और बहका कर, उन्हें अपने ही प्रयासों और मानवीय विधियों एवं रीतियों के द्वारा कर्मों द्वारा धार्मिकता, वचन के ज्ञान के जानकार, और प्रभु के बारे में ज्ञान तथा जानकारी के खोज करने वाला होने, आदि के द्वारा धर्मी बन जाने के भ्रम में फँसाए रखे, और साधारण विश्वास से सच्चे सुसमाचार को स्वीकार करने तथा व्यवहारिक मसीही जीवन को जीने से दूर रखे (कुलुस्सियों 2:6-8)। ऐसा होने से वे उद्धार से वंचित रह जाएंगे, यद्यपि उन्हें यही लगता रहेगा कि अपने इन धार्मिक और धार्मिकता के कार्यों के द्वारा वे भी उद्धार पाए हुए हैं, स्वर्ग में जाने के योग्य हैं। किन्तु साथ ही परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने अपनी प्रेरणा से प्रभु के शिष्यों द्वारा उन बातों को भी लिखवा दिया तथा उपलब्ध करवा दिया, जो शैतान के इस झूठ को प्रकट करती हैं, और असली सुसमाचार की पहचान करवाती हैं, जिससे जो भी वचन को सच्चे समर्पित मन से, पवित्र आत्मा से सीखने का इच्छुक होगा, वह इस असली-नकली की पहचान को जान लेगा। पवित्र आत्मा की प्रेरणा से पौलुस प्रेरित ने गलातीयों की मण्डली को लिखी पत्री का आरंभ करते हुए कहा: “मुझे आश्चर्य होता है, कि जिसने तुम्हें मसीह के अनुग्रह से बुलाया उस से तुम इतनी जल्दी फिर कर और ही प्रकार के सुसमाचार की ओर झुकने लगे। परन्तु वह दूसरा सुसमाचार है ही नहीं: पर बात यह है, कि कितने ऐसे हैं, जो तुम्हें घबरा देते, और मसीह के सुसमाचार को बिगाड़ना चाहते हैं” (गलातियों 1:6-7)। गलातीयों की पत्री, इसी विषय, अर्थात सही सुसमाचार, गलत सुसमाचार, सुसमाचार से भटकना आदि बातों पर ही लिखी गई है, और इस पत्री के 1 और 2 अध्याय, वास्तविक सुसमाचार की पहचान करवाते हैं, प्रभु यीशु के असली सुसमाचार के गुण या स्वभाव, और प्रभावों का यहाँ पर वर्णन किया गया है।

        अगले लेख से हम गलातियों की पत्री के पहले अध्यायों से सच्चे सुसमाचार के गुण देखेंगे।

The Characteristics of the True Gospel (1)

        We have seen in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings (Ephesians 4:14). Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

        In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. Now, we have started to take up the wrong teachings about the Gospel. For this we first need to know, learn, and understand the correct or Biblical things about the Gospel. In the Introduction to this topic, we had seen that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus is not about any earthly kingdom, wealth or prosperity, but about man being able to enter the kingdom of God. We had seen that the first step to man’s entering God’s kingdom is his repenting of sins, which is equally important and applicable for everybody, no matter what their religion, beliefs, concepts, or community may be.  Even if one's family has been “christian” for many generations and they may have been considering themselves as “people of God.” Then we moved ahead from here, and saw what the Gospel is, what it means. We understood that the gospel is an information from God for all of mankind, irrespective of religion, caste, creed, age, belief etc. for being saved from sins freely through the Lord Jesus. It is not a tradition, ritual, or method, the formal, ritualistic fulfillment of which enables a person to reach such a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” that God is compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. The Gospel becomes effective and working in a person’s life by his repenting of his sins, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive him, and surrendering his life to the Lord Jesus. In the previous articles we have also seen the various ploys and devices that Satan uses to corrupt and spoil the true and life-giving Gospel, and render it ineffective. From today we will begin to consider about the characteristics of the true Gospel from the Bible, so that we can discern between the correct and the wrong teachings about the Gospel.

        Since the beginning of the Church, Satan had also begun to corrupt the Gospel through preachers and teachers of false doctrines and wrong teachings, and has spread his disinformation to render the gospel ineffective in people’s lives. Satan’s intention was to beguile people through deceptive teachings, to keep them involved in the deception of being righteous through good works, becoming knowledgeable about the Scriptures, and seekers of the knowledge about the Lord, etc., doing all of these through self efforts and human means, thereby keep them away from accepting and following the true Gospel and living the practical Christian life (Colossians 2:6-8). Thereby, they will stay away from being saved, while assuming that because of being religious and doing religious things they too are saved and worthy of being in heaven. But God the Holy Spirit had got it written and made available through the disciples of the Lord Jesus, how to identify the false teachings of Satan, and recognize the true life-saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, whoever sincerely wants to learn God’s Word with a truly committed and surrendered heart from the Holy Spirit, will be able to discern between the true and the false. Writing to the Church in Galatia through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul wrote: “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ” (Galatians 1:6-7). The letter to the Galatians has been written on this theme, the true Gospel, identifying the false gospel, being misled from the Gospel etc., and the first two chapters of this letter give us the identification marks of the true Gospel, the characteristics, nature, and effects of the correct Gospel of the Lord Jesus have been given here.

       If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

       If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

    पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा; और अब पिछले कुछ लेखों से हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है। इसके लिए हमें पहले तो सुसमाचार के बारे में बाइबल की सही बातों को जानना, सीखना, और समझना आवश्यक है, जिससे कि हम सही सुसमाचार क्या है देख और समझ सकें और गलत या भ्रष्ट को पहचान सकें, ताकि स्वयं भी गलत से बच कर रह सकें तथा औरों को भी बचा सकें।

    इस विषय के परिचय में हमने देखा था कि प्रभु यीशु का सुसमाचार पृथ्वी पर किसी राज्य, कोई सांसारिक धन-सम्पत्ति, या भौतिक सम्पन्नता के बारे में नहीं है, वरन्, मनुष्य के परमेश्वर के राज्य के प्रवेश प्राप्त कर सकने के बारे में है। हमने देखा था कि परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश के लिए, मनुष्य का पहला कदम है अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करना, और यह सभी के लिए समान रूप से महत्वपूर्ण और लागू है। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है कि किसी का धर्म, मान्यताएँ, धारणाएं, या समुदाय क्या है; चाहे उसका परिवार कई पीढ़ियों से "ईसाई या मसीही" रहा हो, और वह स्वयँ भी अपने आप को "परमेश्वर का जन" मानता चला आया हो। फिर हमें यहाँ से आगे बढ़कर देखा था कि सुसमाचार क्या है, और उसका अर्थ क्या है। हमने समझा था कि सुसमाचार परमेश्वर का सन्देश है, समस्त मानव जाति के लिए, बिना किसी भी धर्म, जाति, मत, आयु, मान्यता आदि के कारण किसी अन्तर के, कि पापों स बचाया जाना, उद्धार पाना, केवल प्रभु यीशु पर विश्वास लाने ही के द्वारा है, और यह सभी के लिए मुफ़्त में उपलब्ध है। सुसमाचार कोई परम्परा, रीति, या विधि नहीं है जिसे पूरा करने से व्यक्ति "धर्मी" अथवा "धार्मिक" होने के किसी उच्च स्तर पर पहुँच जात है, जिससे कि परमेश्वर उसे अपने राज्य में प्रवेश दें के लिए बाध्य हो जाए। सुसमाचार, व्यक्ति के जीव में, उसके द्वारा अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करने, प्रभु यीशु से पापों क लिय क्षमा माँगने, और अपना जीवन प्रभु यीशु को समर्पित करने के साथ कार्यकारी एवँ प्रभावी होता है। आज हम सच्चे और उद्धार देने वाले सुसमाचार के, शैतान द्वारा बिगाड़े जाने, भ्रष्ट किए जाने, और विभिन्न रीतियों से अप्रभावी किए जाने की युक्तियों के बारे में देखेंगे।

    हमने पिछले लेख में देखा था कि सुसमाचार का सार 1 कुरिन्थियों 15:1-4 में दिया गया है। तात्पर्य यह, कि जिस भी सुसमाचार प्रचार में इन पदों की बातें नहीं हैं, या इन पदों की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डाली गई हैं, अर्थात, इन पदों में से कुछ घटाया या बढ़ाया गया है, वह “सुसमाचार” भ्रष्ट है, बिगाड़ा हुआ है, अस्वीकार्य है, क्योंकि वह अप्रभावी है! ये पद और उनके तथ्य हमारे लिए सुसमाचार संबंधित हर शिक्षा को जाँचने और परखने की कसौटी प्रदान करते हैं।

    शैतान की सुसमाचार को भ्रष्ट और अप्रभावी करने की इन युक्तियों को देखने और समझने से पहले हमें परमेश्वर, उसके वचन, और उसकी बातों से संबंधित एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात को ध्यान में लाना और हमेशा स्मरण रखना होगा। यह बात है, परमेश्वर, उसका चरित्र और उसके गुण, उसका वचन, उसकी शिक्षाएं, सभी पवित्र, पूर्णतः शुद्ध, और हर रीति से संपूर्ण और सिद्ध हैं, सभी समयों, सभी लोगों, और सभी परिस्थितियों एवं आवश्यकताओं के लिये। उनमें न तो कुछ घटाया जा सकता है, न बढ़ाया जा सकता है, और न ही सुधारा जा सकता है; न ही उन्हें किसी भी रीति से संवार कर और बेहतर किया जा सकता है। ऐसा कुछ भी करने का प्रयास करना यह दिखाना है कि परमेश्वर द्वारा दी गई बात में कुछ अपूर्णता, कुछ कमी, कुछ असिद्धता है, जिसे मनुष्य अपनी बुद्धि और योजनाओं तथा कार्यों से और बेहतर कर सकता है, उससे भी बेहतर जो परमेश्वर ने कर के दिया है। स्मरण कीजिए, अदन की वाटिका में हुए पहले पाप का आधार यही विचार था। शैतान ने सर्प के रूप में, हव्वा को इसी बात से बहकाया और अनाज्ञाकारिता के पाप के लिए उकसाया कि “मेरे कहे तथा अपने मन की अभिलाषा के अनुसार कर ले, और जैसा परमेश्वर ने बनाया और दिया है तू उससे भी बेहतर हो जाएगी।” यदि हव्वा, परमेश्वर द्वारा कहे और दिए गए से और बेहतर करने के लालच में न पड़ती, तो अनाज्ञाकारिता का पाप भी नहीं करती।

    अगले लेख में हम इसी विषय पर और आगे देखेंगे, तथा समझेंगे कि शैतान कितनी चतुराई और धूर्तता से परमेश्वर की बातों से हमें बहकाता और भरमाता है कि परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध कार्य करें, जब कि हम यही सोचते रह जाते हैं कि हम भले और परमेश्वर को पसन्द आने वाले कार्य कर रह हैं।

Rendering the Gospel Ineffective (1)

    In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. Now, we have started to take up the wrong teachings about the Gospel. For this we first need to know, learn, and understand the correct or Biblical things about the Gospel, so that we can see and understand what the actual gospel is, thereby recognize the wrong or the corrupted gospel, so that we remain safe, as well as keep others safe from the false gospel.

    In the Introduction to this topic, we had seen that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus is not about any earthly kingdom, physical wealth, or any temporal prosperity, but about man being able to enter the kingdom of God. We had seen that the first step to man’s entering God’s kingdom is his repenting of sins, which is equally important and applicable for everybody. It does not matter what the person's religion, beliefs, concepts, or community may be; even if his family has been “christian” for many generations and he may be considering himself as “people of God.” We had then moved ahead from here, and saw what the Gospel is, what it means. We understood that it is an information from God for all of mankind, irrespective of religion, caste, creed, age, belief etc. being saved from sins, salvation is only through coming to faith in the Lord Jesus, and is freely available to all. It is not a tradition, ritual, or method, the fulfillment of which enables a person to reach a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” so that God becomes compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. The Gospel becomes effective and working in a person’s life by his repenting of his sins, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive him, and surrendering his life to the Lord Jesus. Today we will see how Satan corrupts and spoils the true and life-giving Gospel through various tricks and devices, and renders it ineffective.

    We had seen in the previous article that the core of the Gospel is given to us in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. The implication is that any preaching of the Gospel, that does not incorporate the matter of these verses, or has things other than what these verses say, i.e., if anything has been added to or subtracted from this core of the Gospel, that ‘gospel’ is corrupted, has been spoilt, is unacceptable, and is ineffective. These verses provide us the standard to test and evaluate every teaching related to the Gospel.

    Before we go into the tricks and devices of Satan through which he spoils and corrupts the Gospel, there is one more very important thing about God’s Word and its contents that we need to recall and always keep in mind. This is that God, His attributes and characteristics, His Word and its teachings, are all holy, absolutely pure, complete and perfect in all aspects, for all times, all people, all situations and needs. Nothing can be added or removed from them, nor can they in any manner be improved upon or made more attractive and acceptable. Doing anything of this sort is tantamount to saying that there is something lacking or incomplete, or there is some imperfection in what God has given, and man is capable of rectifying and improving upon what God has made and given to us. Recall that the basis of leading Eve to commit the first sin in the Garden of Eden, was this very idea. Satan, in the form of the serpent beguiled Eve and enticed her to disobey God by saying to her, “do what I am telling you, and according to your evaluation, and you will become better than what God has made you and has given to you.” If Eve had not fallen for this deception of improving upon what God had made and done, she would never have fallen into committing the sin of disobedience.

    We will continue considering this topic further in the next article and see how Satan very cleverly and deviously deceives and misleads us into doing things contrary to God, while we keep thinking and believing we are doing things that are good, and are pleasing to God.

    हमने पिछले लेखों में देखा है कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त बातें भी डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है।

    पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा है, जो संक्षिप्त में निम्नलिखित थीं: 

    * प्रत्येक सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी के नया जन्म या उद्धार पाते ही, तुरंत उसके उद्धार पाने के पल से ही, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संपूर्णता में आकर उसके अंदर निवास करने लगता है, और उसी में बना रहता है, उसे कभी छोड़ कर नहीं जाता है; 

    * और बाइबल के अनुसार, इसी को पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा पाना भी कहते हैं। 

    * वचन स्पष्ट है कि पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या उससे बपतिस्मा पाना कोई दूसरा या अतिरिक्त अनुभव नहीं है, वरन उद्धार के साथ ही सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा का आकर निवास करना ही है। 

    * प्रेरितों 2 अध्याय में जो अन्य भाषाएं बोली गईं, वे पृथ्वी ही की भाषाएं और उन भाषाओं के कुछ भिन्न स्वरूप, अर्थात बोलियाँ थीं; कोई अलौकिक भाषा नहीं।

    * उन लोगों के द्वारा “अन्य-भाषाओं” को अलौकिक भाषाएं बताना, और परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग के द्वारा इससे संबंधित कई और गलत शिक्षाओं को सिखाने के बारे में भी हम देख चुके हैं कि यह भी एक ऐसी गलत शिक्षा है जिसका वचन से कोई समर्थन या आधार नहीं है। 

    * हमने यह भी देखा था कि वचन में इस शिक्षा का भी कोई आधार या समर्थन नहीं है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” प्रार्थना की भाषाएं हैं। 

    * हमने यह भी देखा था कि उन लोगों के सभी दावों के विपरीत, 

        ** न तो प्रेरितों 2:3-11 में प्रभु के शिष्यों द्वारा अन्य-भाषाओं में बोलना कोई “सुनने” का आश्चर्यकर्म था, 

        ** न ही अन्य भाषाएं प्रार्थना करने की गुप्त भाषाएँ हैं, ताकि हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ शैतानी शक्तियों से गुप्त रहें, 

        ** और न ही ये पृथ्वी के अन्य स्थानों की भाषाएं किसी को भी यूं ही दे दी जाती हैं, जब तक कि व्यक्ति की उस स्थान पर सेवकाई न हो, जहाँ की भाषा बोलने की सामर्थ्य उसे प्रदान की गई है।  

    * हमने यह भी देखा है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलना ही पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण नहीं है; और यह कहना, परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग पर आधारित है, झूठ है। 

    * व्यक्ति “अन्य-भाषा” बोलने के द्वारा सीधे परमेश्वर से बात करता है, इसके तथा कुछ संबंधित और बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बातों के बारे में हम देख चुके हैं कि उनका यह दावा भी वचन की कसौटी पर बिलकुल गलत है, अस्वीकार्य है।

    यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।

    यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

A Review of Wrong Teachings About the Holy Spirit

    We have seen in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

    In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, we had started to look into the wrong things often taught and preached about the Holy Spirit. Briefly stated, the Biblical teachings about the Holy Spirit, that we have seen are:

    * Every truly Born-Again Christian Believer automatically receives the Holy Spirit from God, at the very moment of his being saved. From that moment onwards, the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him in all His fullness, stays with him forever, never leaves him.

    * Biblically this is also known as being filled by the Holy Spirit or, the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. 

    * God’s Word is very clear that being filled with the Holy Spirit is not ‘another’ or a ‘second experience’; rather it is the same as the Holy Spirit coming to reside in a Christian Believer on being saved.

    * The speaking in “tongues” in Acts 2 were the known and understood languages and their dialects, of the earth; and not any super-natural languages.

    * Their claim that the “tongues’ are super-natural languages, and some other related wrong teachings also have no support or affirmation from the Bible.  

    * We have also seen that quite unlike their claims, “tongues” are not a “prayer language” for effective prayers.

    * We also saw that, contrary to their emphatic claims,

        ** The speaking in “tongues” by the Lord’s disciples, given in Acts 2:3-11, was not a miracle of “hearing”,

           ** Nor are “tongues” a so-called ‘secret language’ to keep our prayers safe from satanic forces,

        ** Nor are they unknown languages of some other regions of the earth, granted to the Believer; unless the Believer has a ministry in that region.

    * Speaking in “tongues” is not a proof of receiving the Holy Spirit - the Bible does not offer any affirmation or support to this; and making this absolutely false claim is based on misinterpreting and misusing God's Word. 

    * We have also seen that the assertion and its related claims are also patently false and unBiblical, that by speaking in “tongues” a person starts communicating with God directly. 

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
