विश्वासियों के लिए पुनरुत्थान के निहितार्थ – 5
बाइबल के “पुनरुत्थान के अध्याय” 1 कुरिन्थियों 15 से हम, इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई छः आरम्भिक बातों में से पाँचवीं बात, “मरे हुओं के जी उठने,” के मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए निहितार्थों के बारे में सीख रहे हैं। अभी तक हम ने इस अध्याय के उन विभिन्न खण्डों पर विचार किया है जिन में पुनरुत्थान का उल्लेख आया है या उस से सम्बन्धित हैं, और उन में हो कर देखा है कि “मरे हुओं के जी उठने” के मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए क्या अर्थ और निहितार्थ हैं। पिछले लेख में हम ने पद 29 से 34 को देखा था और सीखा था कि कुरिन्थुस के लोगों के लिए मरे हुओं का जी उठना एक ज्ञात और स्वीकार्य बात थी, जैसा कि उन में मरे हुओं के लिए बपतिस्मा लेने की प्रथा से प्रकट है; साथ ही हम ने यह भी सीखा था कि जिलाया जाना विश्वासियों को परमेश्वर से मिलने वाले प्रतिफलों की पुष्टि करता है, उन के द्वारा पृथ्वी पर जिए गए जीवन और किए गए कामों के लिए। इस लिए वे विश्वासी जो अपनी मसीही सेवकाई के लिए दुःख उठाते हैं, उन्हें दिल छोटा नहीं करना चाहिए और अपनी आशा नहीं छोड़नी चाहिए, बल्कि उन्हें आश्वस्त रहना चाहिए कि इस सँसार में उन्हें जो प्रभु के लिए सहना पड़ रहा है, वह उस अनन्तकाल के सामने जो उन के लिए रखा हुआ है “पल भर का और हल्का सा” है तथा उन के लिए आने वाले सँसार में ऐसी महिमा और प्रतिफल उत्पन्न कर रहा है जो बहुत बड़े हैं, और किसी भी मनुष्य की समझ से परे हैं (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:9; 2 कुरिन्थियों 4:17)। इस अध्याय का शेष भाग, अर्थात पद 35 से 58 तक, एक ही खण्ड हैं, किन्तु हम इसे भागों में देखेंगे, और आज जिलाई हुई देह के गुणों के बारे में देखेंगे।
1 कुरिन्थियों 15:35 एक प्रश्न के साथ आरम्भ होता है, “अब कोई यह कहेगा, कि मुर्दे किस रीति से जी उठते हैं, और कैसी देह के साथ आते हैं?” और इस के बाद के पद जिलाई गई देह के गुणों को बताते हैं। पौलुस, पद 36-37 में एक अनाज के दाने का उदाहरण लेता है, जो फसल के लिए बोया जाता है। अनाज के उस दाने को अपने वर्तमान स्वरूप और अस्तित्व को मिट जाने देना होता है, तब ही उस में से वह पौधा निकलता है जिस से और अनाज के दाने उत्पन्न होते हैं। पौलुस पद 38 में एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात कहता है – अनाज के दाने को नया स्वरूप और आकार परमेश्वर ही देता है, और हर प्रकार के दाने के लिए उस का एक विशिष्ट आकार और स्वरूप होता है; जो यह कहने के लिए है कि प्रत्येक विश्वासी को उस के पुनरुत्थान के समय जो देह मिलेगी, परमेश्वर ही उसे निर्धारित करेगा। पौलुस इस उदाहरण को आगे बढ़ाते हुए, पद 39-41 में अब विभिन्न प्रकार के जीव-जन्तुओं, और फिर सूर्य, चन्द्रमा, तारागणों आदि का उदाहरण देता है, इस बात पर बल देने के लिए कि हर प्रकार की वस्तु की अपनी ही विशिष्ट देह और स्वरूप होता है। इस उदाहरण के द्वारा, पौलुस फिर पद 42 से 44 में मसीही विश्वासियों की जिलाई गई देह के निम्न गुण बताता है:
· पद 42 – वह अविनाशी, कभी न बिगड़ सकने वाली देह होगी
· पद 43 – वह तेजोमय और सामर्थी देह होगी
· पद 44 – वह आत्मिक देह होगी
· पद 45-49 – वह स्वर्गीय देह होगी, जो उस “स्वर्गीय” अर्थात प्रभु यीशु की देह के अनुरूप होगी।
मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए, इन बातों के क्या अर्थ और निहितार्थ हैं? पौलुस निष्कर्ष के समान लिखता है, “हे भाइयों, मैं यह कहता हूं कि मांस और लहू परमेश्वर के राज्य के अधिकारी नहीं हो सकते, और न विनाशी अविनाशी का अधिकारी हो सकता है” (1कुरिन्थियों 15:50)। बिगड़ सकने तथा कभी नहीं बिगड़ सकने वाली, विनाशी और अविनाशी, पार्थिव और स्वर्गीय, दोनों कभी भी एक साथ नहीं रह सकते हैं। दूसरे शब्दों में वह सब कुछ जो शारीरिक, नाशमान, और बिगड़ सकने वाला है, यहीं पृथ्वी पर, पृथ्वी के साथ नष्ट किए जाने के लिए, रह जाएगा। जब विश्वासी प्रभु को अपना उद्धारकर्ता ग्रहण करते हैं, उसी समय परमेश्वर उन्हें उस बिगाड़ और मृत्यु से भी स्वतंत्र कर देता है जो उन में शारीरिक लालसाओं और मनसाओं के कारण है (इफिसियों 2:1-3)। इस लिए यह अनिवार्य हो जाता है कि मसीही विश्वासी उन्हें परमेश्वर के द्वारा प्रदान की गई इस नई दशा के अनुसार अपना जीवन व्यतीत करें; शारीरिक लालसाओं को उन्हें पराजित न करने दें (रोमियों 6:12-14)। बल्कि, आत्मा के द्वारा, अपने उन अंगों को मार डालें जो उन्हें पाप करने के लिए उकसाते हैं (रोमियों 8:13; कुलुस्सियों 3:5)। विश्वासियों के पुनरुत्थान का तथ्य उन के सामने अभी, यहीं, इसी पृथ्वी पर पवित्र जीवन जीने की अनिवार्यता को रखता है, उन्हें उनके स्वर्गीय आत्मिक जीवन की तैयारी करने के लिए।

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Resurrection of the Dead – 13
Resurrection’s Implications for the Believers – 5
Through 1 Corinthians chapter 15, the Resurrection chapter of the Bible, we are learning about the implications for the Christian Believers of “resurrection of the dead,” which is the fifth of the six elementary principles given in Hebrews 6:1-2. So far, we have considered the various sections in this chapter that mention or are related to resurrection, and learnt about the implications and applications of the Believer’s “resurrection from the dead” through them. In the last article we had seen the section from verses 29 to 34 and learnt that the resurrection of the dead was a known and accepted fact for the Corinthians, as testified by their practice at that time of taking baptism for the dead; and then learnt that the resurrection also affirms God’s rewards to the Believers for their lives on earth. Therefore, those Christian Believers who suffer in their ministry for the Lord, should not lose heart or hope, rather, they should remain assured that what they suffer in this world for the Lord, in comparison to the eternity that awaits them, is ‘light and momentary” and is creating for them glory and rewards in the next world that are exceedingly great, and beyond any human comprehension (1 Corinthians 2:9; 2 Corinthians 4:17). The rest of this chapter, i.e., verses 35 to 58 form one section related to the resurrection, but we will consider it in parts, starting today with the nature of the resurrected body of Christian Believers.
1 Corinthians 15:35 begins with a question, “But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?"” and the following verses speak of the nature of this resurrected body. Paul in verses 36-37, first takes the analogy of grain-seed sown for a harvest, to produce a harvest. That grain-seed has to die, i.e., has to lose its current form and existence, and then from it comes up a plant which bears many more grain-seeds. In verse 38, Paul makes a very important point – it is God who gives the grain the new form and body, and to each seed its own body; which is to say that God decides the spiritual body that each Believer will receive at his resurrection. Paul carries the analogy further in verses 39-41, this time using the animal kingdom, and the celestial and terrestrial bodies, to emphasize that each body has its own peculiar form and nature. Through this analogy, from verse 42 to 44 Paul lists the following characteristics of the resurrected body of the Christian Believers:
· V. 42 – it is an incorruptible body, one that will never decay or perish
· V. 43 – it is glorious body, raised in power
· V. 44 – it is a spiritual body
· V. 45-49 – it is a heavenly body, in the image of the “heavenly Man;” i.e., in the image of the Lord Jesus.
What then are the implications of this, for the Christian Believers? Therefore, in conclusion, Paul writes, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50). The corruptible and the incorruptible, the physical and the heavenly, cannot co-exist; in other words, everything physical, corruptible, and perishable will be left here on this earth to be destroyed with the earth. When the Believers accept the Lord Jesus as their savior, at that time, God also delivers them from the corruption and death which is at work in them through their physical desires and the lusts of the flesh (Ephesians 2:1-3). Hence it is necessary that the Christian Believers should live their lives according to their God given new state; not letting the desires of the flesh overcome them (Romans 6:12-14). Instead, they through the Spirit, should be putting to death their physical members that entice them to sin (Romans 8:13; Colossians 3:5). The fact of the resurrection of Christian Believers places before them the necessity of their living holy lives, now, here on earth, in preparation of their spiritual lives in heaven.

You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
