परमेश्वर के वचन के स्वरूप के निहितार्थ - 2
परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल का एक योग्य भण्डारी हो के अपने इस ज़ारी अध्ययन के अन्तर्गत, हमने पिछले लेख में देखा था कि चाहे पुराने नियम के समय में हो अथवा नए नियम के, परमेश्वर का लोगों के साथ वार्तालाप करने का तरीका उसके द्वारा चुने गए कुछ लोगों में होकर करना ही रहा है। उसने नबियों, प्रेरितों, तथा कुछ अन्यों से सीधे बोल कर बातें कीं, उन से दर्शनों और स्वप्नों के द्वारा बातें कीं (इब्रानियों 1:1)। फिर इन लोगों ने परमेश्वर की ओर से, परमेश्वर के सन्देश को, सँसार के लोगों तक पहुँचाया। परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने इन चुने हुए लोगों को प्रेरित किया और उनसे उन बातों को लिखवाया जो परमेश्वर ने उन से कही थीं (2 तीमुथियुस 3:16-17)। पवित्र आत्मा ही की अगुवाई में इन लेखों को एकत्रित एवं संकलित किया गया, जो अब हमारे हाथों में पूर्ण बाइबल के रूप में है – जो परमेश्वर का अनन्तकालीन, बिना किसी गलती वाला, अटल, अपरिवर्तनीय, सिद्ध और सम्पूर्ण वचन है जो अनन्त काल के लिए स्वर्ग में स्थापित है (भजन 119:89, 160)।
तो, हम बाइबल के इतिहास से देखते हैं कि कुछ डिनॉमिनेशंस द्वारा किए जाने वाले दावों और सामान्य प्रचलित धारणाओं के विपरीत, परमेश्वर ने उन सब से जो उसके नाम से जाने जाते हैं, न तो सीधे बोल कर बातें कीं, और न ही उन सभी को अपने बारे में दर्शन दिए या सभी से स्वप्न में कुछ कहा, वरन केवल कुछ ही लोगों को इसके लिए उपयोग किया। इसलिए वर्तमान में लोगों द्वारा सीधे परमेश्वर से सन्देश, दर्शन, या स्वप्न प्राप्त करने का दावा करना, और वह भी उन बातों के बारे में जो बाइबल में दी ही नहीं गई हैं, अर्थात् परमेश्वर के स्थापित वचन में और बातों को जोड़ना, और फिर योएल 2:28 और उसके जैसे बाइबल के पदों के द्वारा अपने आप को सही ठहराने के तर्क देना, परमेश्वर के वचन का दुरुपयोग करना है, क्योंकि परमेश्वर कभी भी उस वचन के बाहर या अतिरिक्त, जो वह पवित्र शास्त्र में दे चुका है, कभी कुछ नहीं कहेगा या देगा।
यह सम्पूर्ण और संकलित वचन अनन्त काल के लिए स्वर्ग में स्थिर रखा गया है (भजन 119:89); और परमेश्वर ने अपने इसी वचन को अपने बड़े नाम से भी अधिक महत्व दिया है (भजन 138:2)। उसने अपने वचन बाइबल में पहले से ही न केवल जीवन और भक्ति से संबंधित हर बात दे दी है; वरन साथ ही सँसार की सड़ाहट से बचाने तथा ईश्वरीय स्वभाव के संभागी होने का मार्ग भी दे दिया है (2 पतरस 1:3-4)। इसलिए, बाइबल में होकर परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही हमें उसके बारे में सीखने, उसके सम्मुख आने, उसे और उसकी इच्छा को जानने, उससे संपर्क एवं वार्तालाप करने, अपने जीवन और मार्गों का आँकलन करने के माप दण्ड, कि हमारा जीवन हमारे लिए परमेश्वर की इच्छा के अनुसार है कि नहीं, सब कुछ हमें पहले से ही दे दिया है। इसलिए, इसका तात्पर्य यही है कि अब इन बातों के बारे में परमेश्वर को किसी को भी कोई नए संदेश अथवा दर्शन देने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, क्योंकि यह सभी कुछ पहले से ही दे दिया गया है और बाइबल में सभी के लिये उपलब्ध है।
किन्तु यदि अब भी परमेश्वर को जीवन और भक्ति से संबंधित तथा संसार की सड़ाहट से बचने और ईश्वरीय स्वभाव के संभागी होने के लिए, किसी को कोई नए संदेश अथवा दर्शन देने पड़ते हैं, तो इसका यही अर्थ हुआ कि परमेश्वर ने जो 2 पतरस 1:3-4 में लिखवाया है वह सही नहीं है – अर्थात् , या तो परमेश्वर ने झूठ बोल, या फिर, परमेश्वर के वचन में गलतियाँ हैं और वह पूर्ण नहीं है, अभी भी उसमें नए दर्शनों और संदेशों के द्वारा और बातें डाले जाने की आवश्यकता है। क्योंकि परमेश्वर कभी झूठ बोल ही नहीं सकता है (गिनती 23:19; 1 शमूएल 15:29; इब्रानियों 6:18), और परमेश्वर का वचन जो प्रभु यीशु मसीह का एक स्वरूप है (यूहन्ना 1:1, 14), न तो गलत हो सकता है और न ही अपूर्ण; इसलिए जो बात गलत है, जिस पर कभी विश्वास नहीं करना चाहिए, न ही कभी उसे स्वीकार करना चाहिए, वह है वे दावे जो यह दर्शन और भविष्यवाणियाँ प्राप्त करने का दिखावा करने वाले प्रचार करते हैं, सिखाते हैं; और अकसर उनके बातें न केवल बाइबल के बाहर की होती हैं, बल्कि शायद ही कभी पूरी भी होती हैं। और परमेश्वर के वचन के साथ यह छेड़-छाड़, उसका दुरुपयोग एवं अनादर करना है, अर्थात् परमेश्वर का अनादर, उसके साथ दुर्व्यवहार करना है, जिसके बहुत गम्भीर और हानिकारक परिणाम होते हैं (व्यवस्थाविवरण 4:2; 12:32; नीतिवचन 30:6; प्रकाशितवाक्य 22:18-19)।
हम आज के विषय को अगले लेख में भी जारी रखेंगे। लेकिन अभी के लिए, इस बात पर विचार करें कि आप बाइबिल का अध्ययन कैसे कर रहे हैं और उसे अपने जीवन में कैसे लागू कर रहे हैं, तथा उसकी शिक्षाओं को दूसरों के साथ कैसे साझा कर रहे हैं? क्या आप वास्तव में इन बातों में परमेश्वर के वचन के एक सच्चे और विश्वासयोग्य भण्डारी बन रहे हैं? या फिर, क्या आप कुछ संप्रदायों (denominations) की शिक्षाओं, और कुछ पंथों या व्यक्तियों द्वारा प्रचार और प्रसार की जा रही शिक्षाओं में फंसे हुए हैं, और उन्हीं का अनुसरण व प्रसार कर रहे हैं? क्या आप संप्रदायों, पंथों या व्यक्तियों की शिक्षाओं से इतने प्रभावित और सम्मोहित हैं कि उन्हें मानने और उनका अनुसरण करने से पहले, आप परमेश्वर के वचन से सीधे उनकी जाँच करने की सावधानी नहीं बरतते हैं? क्या आप किसी भी उपदेश या शिक्षा को स्वीकार करने से पहले प्रार्थना करते हैं और परमेश्वर से माँगते हैं कि वह आपको सच्चाई दिखाए और आपको असत्य से सुरक्षित रखे? याद रखें, हव्वा को पाप करने के लिए उकसाने से पहले, शैतान ने पहले उसके मन-मस्तिष्क के साथ खेल खेला; उसने उसे वही देखने, सोचने और विश्वास करने के लिए आकर्षित किया जो वह उससे करवाना चाहता था, बजाय उसके जो परमेश्वर ने आदम और हव्वा को पहले ही निर्देशित किया था; और फिर चालाकी से उसे पाप करने की ओर ले गया।
यही शैतानी रणनीति आज भी उतनी ही प्रभावशीलता के साथ काम कर रही है। यह शैतानी रणनीति हमेशा एक बहुत ही सरल और ऐसे कारण से सफल रही है, जिसे पूरी तरह से रोका जा सकता है, जिससे आसानी से बचा जा सकता है — स्वीकार करने से पहले परमेश्वर से पूछ लेना। लोग परमेश्वर और उस के वचन के साथ बैठने के लिए और सीधे मूल स्रोत से सच्चाई सीखने के लिये समय नहीं निकालते हैं — जब कि परमेश्वर चाहता है कि हर मसीही करे। आज भी, लोग इस बात की जाँच और पुष्टि करने का कष्ट नहीं करते कि परमेश्वर के मार्गदर्शन में उन्हें परमेश्वर के नाम पर जो परोसा जा रहा है वह ग्रहण योग्य है कि नहीं? इसके बजाय, वे उपदेशों और शिक्षाओं को आँख बंद करके स्वीकार कर लेते हैं, केवल इसलिए क्योंकि वे एक प्रभावशाली, आकर्षक, लोकप्रिय, और प्रत्यक्ष रूप से तर्कसंगत तथा ज्ञानवान स्रोत या व्यक्ति से आ रही हैं। इस प्रकार वे एक भारी और घातक त्रुटि पर विश्वास करने और उसका अनुसरण करने के लिए गुमराह हो जाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:3, 13-15), और बिना सच को समझे, अनजाने में ही, वे विनाश की ओर चले जाते हैं।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Implications of the Nature of God’s Word - 2
In our ongoing study of being a worthy steward of God’s Word the Bible, we saw in the previous article, that whether in the times of the Old Testament, or of the New, God’s method of communicating with the world was through His few chosen people, the Prophets, the Apostles, and some others, by speaking to them or through visions and dreams (Hebrews 1:1). These people then, on God’s behalf, conveyed God’s message to the world. God the Holy Spirit inspired these chosen people of God to write down what God communicated to and through them (2 Timothy 3:16-17). These writings were compiled under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to give us what we now have as the complete Bible – God’s eternal, inerrant, infallible, unalterable, perfect and complete Word, forever settled in heaven for all eternity (Psalm 119:89, 160).
So, we see from the history of God’s Word that unlike a popular perception and claim by people of some denominations, God neither spoke with, nor gave visions and dreams about Himself and what He wanted to communicate, to everybody known by His name; but He did so only to a select few; whether in the Old Testament or the New Testament times. Therefore, for people to nowadays claim receiving direct spoken communication, dreams, visions, from God, and that too about things not already mentioned in the Bible, i.e., adding things to the already settled Word of God, and then wanting to justify it on the basis of Joel 2:28 is misusing the Scriptures because God will never speak or say anything outside of what He has already given in the Scriptures.
This completed and compiled Word of God is kept in heaven for all eternity (Psalm 119:89); and God has given more importance to this i.e., His Word, than even to His name (Psalm 138:2). In His Word, The Bible, He has already given to us not only everything that pertains to life and godliness; but also the way to escape the corruptions of the world; and become partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:3-4). Therefore, in the Bible, God has given us a complete package to learn about Him, approach Him, know Him, know His will, communicate with Him, evaluate and measure our life and our ways to check if they are in accordance with what God wants from us. Therefore, the implication is that now there is no need for God to give anyone any fresh or new messages or visions about these things, since they have already been given and made available in the Bible for everyone.
If still God has to give any new revelations about things pertaining to life and godliness, escaping corruption from the world and being partakers of the divine nature, then that means what was written by God in 2 Peter 1:3-4 was incorrect – God either lied, or, the Word of God is neither correct nor complete, it still needs to be supplemented with fresh revelations. Since God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19; 1 Samuel 15:29; Hebrews 6:18), and God’s Word being a physical form of the Lord Jesus (John 1:1, 14) cannot be incorrect or incomplete, therefore, the only thing that is incorrect, and one that should neither be believed nor accepted, is the claim made by those who show-off, preach, and teach receiving such revelations and prophesies, that usually never come to pass and are often extra-Biblical. So, this tampering with God’s Word, is misusing and insulting God’s Word; i.e., is insulting God and misbehaving with Him, and it also has very serious and very harmful consequences (Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Proverbs 30:6; Revelation 22:18-19).
We will continue with today's topic in the next article as well. But for now, ponder over how you are studying and applying the Bible to your life, and about sharing its teachings with others? Are you actually being a true and faithful steward of God’s Word in these things? Or, are you caught up in some denominational teachings, and teachings being preached and propagated by some sects or some persons, and following them, propagating them? Are you so impressed and obsessed with the teachings of denominations, sects, or persons, that you are not careful to verify them directly from God’s Word, before believing and following them? Are you first praying and asking God to show you the truth, and keep you safe from the untruth, before you accept any preaching or teaching? Remember, before inducing Eve to commit sin, Satan first played with her mind, got her to see, think, and believe what he wanted her to do, instead of what God had already instructed Adam and Eve; and then subtly attracted her to commit sin.
The same satanic strategy is at work even today, and equally effectively. This satanic strategy has always been very successful for one very simple reason, which is totally and very easily avoidable - ask God about it, before accepting anything. People do not take time to sit with God and His Word to learn the truth from the very source - which God wants every Christian to do always. Even today, people do not bother to examine and verify under God’s guidance what is being fed to them in the name of God. Rather, they blindly accept the preaching and teachings, just because they are coming from an impressive, appealing, popular, seemingly logical and knowledgeable source or person, and thereby get misled into believing and following a gross and fatal error (2 Corinthians 11:3, 13-15), and quite unsuspectingly, they go into damnation.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
