परिचय - 1
सामान्यतः बाइबल को ईसाइयों का धर्म-ग्रन्थ, या, पश्चिमी सभ्यता से आई हुई पुस्तक समझा जाता है; एक ऐसी पुस्तक जो लोगों को पश्चिमी सभ्यता तथा व्यवहार में ले जाती है। और यह मिथ्या आरोप लगा कर व्यर्थ में बाइबल का तथा बाइबल को मानने वालों का विरोध किया जाता है। लेकिन वास्तव में बाइबल किसी धर्म-विशेष अथवा सभ्यता विशेष की पुस्तक नहीं है; और न ही किसी सांसारिक सभ्यता का अनुसरण करने की शिक्षा देती है। वास्तविकता तो यह है कि बाइबल सृष्टि के सृष्टिकर्ता, इस संसार के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के रचयिता, इस संपूर्ण जगत के सृजनहार, पालनहार, तारणहार परमेश्वर द्वारा संपूर्ण मानवजाति से उसके असीम, अपरिवर्तनीय, निःस्वार्थ, पवित्र प्रेम की लिखित अभिव्यक्ति है।
बाइबल में परमेश्वर ने स्वयं को, अपने गुणों, अपने चरित्र, अपनी पसंद-नापसन्द को, और समस्त मानवजाति से जो अद्भुत, अवर्णनीय प्रेम परमेश्वर ने रखा है, उसे व्यक्त किया है। यह ऐसा विलक्षण प्रेम है जो परमेश्वर ने मनुष्यों से उनके पाप के दशा में होते हुए भी किया है। बाइबल ही वह एकमात्र ग्रन्थ है जो परमेश्वर के विषय यह बताता है कि वह पापियों से भी प्रेम करता है, उनका नाश नहीं चाहता, वरन उसकी यही लालसा है कि वे अपने पापों से पश्चाताप के साथ उसकी ओर फिरें, और वह उन्हें क्षमा करके अपने साथ अपनी संतान बनाकर जोड़ ले, उन्हें अनन्तकाल के लिए आशीषित कर दे। यह इसलिए संभव है क्योंकि प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने संसार के सभी मनुष्यों के सभी पापों को अपने ऊपर ले लिया, और उनके दण्ड - मृत्यु को, अपनी क्रूस की मृत्यु के द्वारा सभी मनुष्यों के लिए सह लिया। अब, क्योंकि प्रभु यीशु मसीह में सभी मनुष्यों के सभी पापों का दण्ड चुकाया जा चुका है, इसलिये अब किसी भी मनुष्य को अपने पापों की क्षमा को प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रभु यीशु मसीह के इस बलिदान के कार्य को स्वीकार करने के अतिरिक्त और कुछ भी करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
केवल बाइबल का परमेश्वर ही वह परमेश्वर है जो मनुष्यों के प्रति अपने प्रेम के कारण अपनी समस्त स्वर्गीय महिमा को छोड़कर, एक साधारण मनुष्य की समानता में देहधारी होकर प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम से पृथ्वी पर आया, जिससे कि मनुष्यों के लिए स्वर्ग जाने का एकमात्र मार्ग तैयार करके उन्हें दे। ऐसा मार्ग जिस मार्ग पर चलने के लिए संसार के किसी भी मनुष्य को परमेश्वर प्रभु यीशु पर, और उसके क्रूस पर दिए गए बलिदान के कार्य पर विश्वास करने, स्वेच्छा से अपना जीवन उसे समर्पित करके उसका अनुसरण करना स्वीकार कर लेने के अतिरिक्त और कुछ भी करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है। मनुष्य को परमेश्वर का यह प्रेम, मनुष्य के प्रति परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह से उसे मिलता है; न कि मनुष्य के किसी भी कर्म अथवा उसकी अपनी किसी भी ‘धार्मिकता’ के आधार पर। परमेश्वर का यह प्रेम संसार के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को, परमेश्वर की ओर से मुफ्त में उपलब्ध है। परमेश्वर के इस प्रावधान को स्वीकार अथवा अस्वीकार करना, यह प्रत्येक मनुष्य का अपना व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है।
परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल के इस परिचय को हम अगले लेख में भी ज़ारी रखेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Introduction - 1
The Bible, generally speaking, is believed to be the Scripture of Christians, and is commonly understood and taken as a book that has come from the western civilization. It is falsely accused of being a book that motivates people into norms, practices and life-style of the western civilization. And this false accusation is often the basis of vainly opposing the Bible and the Bible believers. But in reality, the Bible is not a book of any particular region, religion or civilization; nor does it teach being a follower of any worldly civilization. The fact is that The Bible is the written expression of the infinite, unchanging, unselfish, holy love, of the Creator, Sustainer, and Savior of this entire universe, the Creator God, of the Creator of every person in this world, towards all of mankind.
In the Bible, God has expressed Himself, His qualities, His character, His likes and dislikes, and the wonderful, indescribable love God has for all mankind. Such a wonderful love, one that God has shown towards mankind even in their state of sinfulness. The Bible is the only book that tells about God, that He loves even sinners, does not want them to perish, but longs for them to turn to Him with repentance from their sins, so that He can forgive them, make them His children and bless them for eternity. This is possible because the Lord Jesus Christ took upon Himself all the sins of all of mankind, and endured their punishment - death for everyone, through His death on the Cross of Calvary. Now, since the Lord Jesus Christ has suffered the punishment and paid the penalty for all the sins of all human beings, therefore, no man needs to do anything other than accept this sacrificial act of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to receive the forgiveness of his sins from Him.
Only the God of the Bible is the God who, because of his love for mankind, emptied Himself of all heavenly glory, left heaven and came to earth in the form of an ordinary man taking the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to prepare the way for mankind to go to heaven and be with Him. He has prepared and provided the way for every person in the world, that requires nothing other than to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and his work of sacrifice on the Cross, voluntarily submit his life to Him, and accept to follow Him. Everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus receives this love of God solely because of God's grace towards man; not on the basis of any works of man or any of his own 'righteousness'. This love of God is available freely from God to every person in the world. To accept or reject this provision of God is every individual’s voluntary decision.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
