       प्रभु की मेज़, या प्रभु भोज, जिसे प्रभु यीशु ने अपने शिष्यों के साथ फसह के पर्व को मनाते हुए, फसह की सामग्री के द्वारा स्थापित किया था, पर हमारे ज़ारी अध्ययन में हम निर्गमन 12 में दिए गए फसह से संबंधित परमेश्वर के निर्देशों का उपयोग करते हुए प्रभु की मेज़ से संबंधित तथ्यों को सीखते और समझते आ रहे हैं, क्योंकि फसह, प्रभु भोज का प्ररूप है। अब क्योंकि लोग परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन करने और सीखने के प्रति बेपरवाह हो गए हैं, और उन्हें जो भी पुल्पिट से बता और सिखा दिया जाता है, उसे बिना पहले परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल से परखे और उसकी पुष्टि करे, उसे स्वीकार करने और पालन करने वाले बन गए हैं, इसलिए शैतान भी अपनी गलत शिक्षाओं, झूठे सिद्धांतों, और बाइबल की शिक्षाओं से संबंधित उसकी शैतानी, भ्रष्ट व्याख्याओं को लोगों तथा कलीसियाओं में आसानी से घुसाने पाया है। क्योंकि शायद ही कोई होता है जो उसकी युक्तियों को परमेश्वर के वचन से परखता है और उसकी गलत बातों को चुनौती देता है, इसलिए उसकी गलत शिक्षाएं और अनुचित व्याख्याएँ ईसाई या मसीही समाज में इतनी गहराई से बैठ गई हैं कि लोग अब परमेश्वर के वचन की खरी शिक्षाओं पर संदेह करने लगे हैं, किन्तु शैतान के धोखे को स्वीकार करने और मानने में संतुष्ट और प्रसन्न रहते हैं। इसी प्रकार से शैतान ने प्रभु भोज को भी बिगाड़ दिया है, और लोगों को भरमा दिया है जिससे वे यह मानने लगे हैं कि किसी भी रीति से, जैसे भी उनके समुदायों और डिनॉमिनेशन में वह मनाया जाता है, उसे मना लेने से वे धर्मी, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में प्रवेश करने के लिए योग्य हो जाते हैं - जो बाइबल के बिल्कुल विपरीत ऐसी बात है, जिसने बहुतेरों को अनंत विनाश के मार्ग पर डाल दिया है। इसका केवल एक ही समाधान है कि लोग परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन आरंभ करें, प्रत्येक बात को पहले बाइबल से सत्यापित करें तब ही स्वीकार करें, और परमेश्वर तथा उसके वचन के आज्ञाकारी बनें, न कि मनुष्यों के; अर्थात, मनुष्यों को नहीं किन्तु परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करने वाले बनें, चाहे कोई भी कीमत चुकानी पड़े।

        पिछले कुछ समय से हम निर्गमन 12:8-10 से, वहाँ दिए गए विभिन्न प्रतीकों और चिह्नों, तथा प्रभु यीशु के विषय उनके प्रयोग के द्वारा प्रभु की मेज़ के अर्थ, महत्व, और उसमें भाग लेने के बारे में समझते और सीखते आ रहे हैं। पिछले लेखों में हमने देखा था कि मेज़ में भाग लेते समय “प्रभु के दुखों को याद करने” का वास्तविक अभिप्राय क्या है, और किस प्रकार से शैतान ने उसे एक व्यर्थ, महत्वहीन परंपरा बना दिया है, जिसमें लोग एक औपचारिकता निभाने के लिए भाग लेते रहते हैं, और फिर भी यही समझते तथा मानते हैं कि वे सही कर रहे हैं, परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में सही हैं। आज भी हम इसी भाग, निर्गमन 12:8-10 से इससे आगे की बातों को देखेंगे और अपने विषय के बारे में और सीखेंगे।

        निर्गमन 12:9-10 में लिखा है कि संपूर्ण मेमने को आग पर पकाया और फिर खाया जाना था; और प्रातः होने तक यदि कुछ रह भी जाए तो उसे जला देना था। हम पिछले लेख में सीधे आग पर पकाने के अर्थ और तात्पर्य को देख चुके हैं। आज हम संपूर्ण मेमने के पकाए जाने और प्रातः होने पर उसके शेष बचे भाग को जला देने के बारे में देखेंगे। उस समय पर इस्राएलियों को यह नहीं पता था कि मिस्र को छोड़कर निकल जाने की पुकार कब आ जाएगी, लेकिन उन्हें जब भी जाना पड़ता, जाने से पहले उन्हें शेष बचे हुए मेमने को जला देना था।

        हमने पिछले लेख में देखा था कि समस्त मानवजाति के सारे पापों को अपने ऊपर लेकर उनका प्रायश्चित करने के लिए, प्रभु यीशु को परमेश्वर ने पाप ठहरा दिया (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:21), अर्थात साकार पाप - अपनी संपूर्णता में, अन्दर-बाहर, प्रभु यीशु पाप ठहराया गया था। उसका साकार पाप होना, बलि के मेमने को उसकी संपूर्णता में आग पर पकाए जाने का एक कारण था। क्योंकि समस्त मानवजाति के सभी पापों को अपने ऊपर ले लेने के कारण यीशु संपूर्णता में पाप ठहराया दिया गया, इसीलिए उसके शरीर के प्रत्येक भाग को परमेश्वर के प्रकोप की ज्वाला को सहना था। संपूर्ण मेमने का आग पर पकाया जाना परमेश्वर के मेमने को अपनी संपूर्णता में मानव-जाति के पापों के प्रायश्चित के लिये, परमेश्वर के प्रकोप की अग्नि को सहने का प्रतीक था। पाप के प्रति परमेश्वर के प्रकोप को उसके हर अंग पर आना था।

        इसका एक और कारण यह भी था कि बलि के मेमने को आग पर लाने से पहले काट कर उसके कुछ भागों को अलग करके फेंका और फिर शेष बचे भागों को आग पर नहीं ले जाया जा सकता था, क्योंकि इससे यह तात्पर्य निकलता कि परमेश्वर के मेमने में कुछ अपूर्णताएं थीं, उसके कुछ भाग अनुपयोगी और व्यर्थ थे, वह पूर्णतः सिद्ध नहीं था। किन्तु प्रभु यीशु सिर से पाँव तक, अन्दर-बाहर, हर रीति से सिद्ध था। इब्रानियों 10:5 “इसी कारण वह जगत में आते समय कहता है, कि बलिदान और भेंट तू ने न चाही, पर मेरे लिये एक देह तैयार किया” पर ध्यान कीजिए, प्रभु यीशु मरियम के गर्भ में मनुष्यों की सामान्य रीति से नहीं आए थे। परमेश्वर ने उनके लिए एक देह तैयार की थी और उसे मरियम के गर्भ में रखा, जिसमें होकर वे किसी भी अन्य सामान्य मानव-शिशु के समान विकसित हुए, हर शिशु, सामान्य रीति से जन्म लेते समय जिन बातों को सहन करता है प्रभु ने भी उन्हें सहा और जन्म लिया, और फिर बड़े हुए। सो, इस प्रकार से सिद्ध परमेश्वर के लिए उनकी मानव देह भी पूर्णतः सिद्ध और बिना किसी विकार अथवा त्रुटि की थी। उनके किसी भी भाग को अपूर्ण अथवा अनुपयोगी कहकर फेंका नहीं जा सकता था।

        अगले लेख में हम यहाँ से आगे बढ़ेंगे, और मिस्र से निकलने से पहले मेमने के शेष भागों को जलाए जाने के बारे में, तथा आज प्रभु-भोज में भाग लेने के लिए उसके महत्व के बारे में देखेंगे।

        यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Exodus 12:8-10 (5) - The Lord’s Table - A Reminder of the Deliverance of God’s People (1)

        In our ongoing study of the Lord’s Table, or, the Holy Communion, which was established by the Lord Jesus, while observing the Passover with His disciples, using the elements of the Passover, we are using God’s instructions about the Passover, the antecedent of the Holy Communion, given in Exodus 12, to understand and learn the Biblical truths about the Lord’s Table. Since people have become disinterested in studying and learning God’s Word, and are content with accepting everything told and taught to them from the pulpit, and following it, without first verifying it from God’s Word the Bible, Satan has easily been able to infiltrate many wrong teachings, false doctrines, and his devious, corrupt interpretations of God’s Word amongst the people and the Church. Since hardly anyone bothers to cross-check his ploys through God’s Word, and challenge him for the false things he says, therefore his misinterpretations and false teachings have become so firmly entrenched in Christendom, that people now doubt the true teachings from God’s Word, but are comfortable to accept Satan’s deceptions and follow them. Satan has similarly corrupted the Holy Communion as well, and has made people think that by participating in it in any manner, as practiced in their sects and denominations, they become righteous, acceptable to God, and worthy of being admitted to heaven - a totally unBiblical belief, which has put many onto the path of eternal destruction. The only way to rectify is to study God’s Word, verify everything from the Bible before accepting it, become obedient to God and His Word, not man; i.e., strive to be and live as a God-pleaser, not as men-pleasers, at any cost.

        For the past some time we have been studying the various symbolisms given in Exodus 12:8-10, and their application to the Lord Jesus, and how it helps us understand about the meaning, significance, and participation in the Lord’s Table. In the recent articles we saw what it means to “remember the Lord’s sufferings” while partaking of the Table, and how Satan has taken away the very heart of the remembrance and turned it into a vain, inconsequential ritual, in which people participate perfunctorily, and yet believe that they are doing the right thing, are okay with God. We will carry on from here, and using the same portion, Exodus 12:8-10, learn further about the subject.

        It says in Exodus 12:9-10, that the whole of the sacrificial lamb was to be roasted on fire, and eaten; and anything that remained by morning was to be burnt up. We have seen the significance and implication of directly roasting on the fire in the previous article. Today we will see about the whole lamb being used, and its remaining portion being burnt by morning. At that time the Israelites did not know when the call to leave Egypt would come, but before they left, they had to burn up the remaining portion of the sacrificial lamb.

        We saw in the previous article that in taking all the sins of entire mankind upon Himself and atoning for them, Jesus was made sin by God (2 Corinthians 5:21), i.e., sin personified - all of Him, inside-out was made sin. His becoming sin personified was one reason that the whole of the Passover sacrificial lamb had to be roasted on fire; since, in taking the sins of all of mankind upon Himself, the whole of the Lord Jesus became sin, and therefore every part of Him had to endure the fire of God’s wrath. The roasting of the entire lamb signified that the whole of God’s sacrificial Lamb, for atoning the sin of mankind, had to suffer the heat of God’s wrath upon sin. Every part of Him had to bear the heat of God’s wrath for sin.

        Another reason that the lamb could not be cut and certain parts discarded before being put on fire, while the rest were roasted on fire was that this would have implied that God’s sacrificial Lamb too had some imperfections, some discardable or unnecessary parts, that could be removed and thrown away. Lord Jesus, His whole self, head to toe, inside out, was perfect in every manner. Consider Hebrews 10:5, “Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.” The Lord Jesus was not conceived in Mary’s womb in the natural manner of mankind. God prepared a body for Him and placed it within Mary’s womb to grow and be born as just any other baby and suffer the same things that every baby suffers in its natural birth and then growing up. So, in essence, His was a perfect body, for the perfect God; absolutely sinless and flawless in every conceivable aspect. No part of His body could be called imperfect or unnecessary, and discarded.

        In the next article we will move ahead from here and consider about the remaining parts of the lamb being burnt before leaving Egypt, and its significance today when participating in the Lord's Table.

        If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

पाप के समाधान की आवश्यकताएं और आधार

   

    मनुष्य की अनाज्ञाकारिता के कारण पाप के संसार में प्रवेश के समाधान के बारे में देखते हुए, अभी तक हम देख चुके हैं कि: 

* क्योंकि पाप का प्रवेश मनुष्य के द्वारा हुआ, उसका समाधान भी मनुष्य में होकर ही होना था। 

* पाप के कारण मृत्यु जगत में आई; पाप के समाधान के द्वारा यह मृत्यु का प्रभाव मिटाया जाकर मनुष्य को वापस उस अमरता स्थिति में लाया जाना था जो अदन की वाटिका में पाप से पहले उसकी थी। 

* इसके लिए यह आवश्यक था कि कोई ऐसा निष्पाप, निष्कलंक, पवित्र, सिद्ध मनुष्य हो जो पाप के कारण आई मृत्यु को स्वयं सह ले, और मनुष्यों पर से मृत्यु की पकड़ को मिटा दे। यदि मृत्यु को सहने वाले मनुष्य में अपना कोई पाप, या पाप का कोई दोष अथवा अंश होता, तो फिर वह उस मृत्यु को केवल अपने ही लिए सह सकता था, दूसरों को उसके लाभ प्रदान नहीं कर सकता था। 

* इस कारण पृथ्वी पर जन्म लेने वाले मनुष्यों की सामान्य प्रणाली के अनुसार जन्म लेने वाला प्रत्येक मनुष्य इसके अयोग्य ठहरता, क्योंकि सभी पाप-दोष के साथ जन्म लेते हैं। इस संदर्भ में हमने पिछले दो लेखों में देखा कि कैसे प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने मनुष्यों के जन्म की सामान्य प्रणाली के द्वारा नहीं, वरन एक विशेष रीति से मनुष्य की देह में जन्म लिया और कोख में आने से लेकर क्रूस पर उनकी मृत्यु के समय तक एक पूर्णतः निष्पाप, निष्कलंक, पवित्र, और सिद्ध जीवन बिताया। न उनके जीवन काल में, और न तब से लेकर अब दो हज़ार वर्षों से भी अधिक के अंतराल में, कोई उनके जीवन में कोई भी पाप नहीं दिखा सका, उनमें पाप का दोष होने को प्रमाणित नहीं कर सका। 

* अदन की वाटिका में पाप और मृत्यु ने मनुष्य की अनाज्ञाकारिता के द्वारा प्रवेश किया; और इस अनाज्ञाकारिता का कारण था मनुष्य का परमेश्वर की उनके लिए भली मनसा और योजनाओं पर संदेह करना। मनुष्य के जीवन से पाप और मृत्यु का मिटाया जाना इस अनाज्ञाकारिता की प्रक्रिया को उलट देने और पूर्ण आज्ञाकारिता में आ जाने से होना था। साथ ही इस आज्ञाकारिता के लिए मनुष्य को अपने जीवन पर्यंत, बिना परमेश्वर की किसी भी बात के लिए उस पर संदेह अथवा अविश्वास किए, स्वेच्छा से तथा भली मनसा के साथ परमेश्वर की पूर्ण आज्ञाकारिता में जीवन व्यतीत करना था।

 

    आज से हम प्रभु यीशु मसीह द्वारा इस पूर्ण आज्ञाकारिता की शर्त को पूरा करने के बारे में देखेंगे। ऐसा नहीं है कि क्योंकि प्रभु यीशु परमेश्वर के पुत्र थे, क्योंकि वे पूर्णतः परमेश्वर और पूर्णतः मनुष्य थे, इसलिए उनके लिए यह आज्ञाकारिता सहज एवं सरल थी। प्रभु यीशु को भी अपने मनुष्य रूप में आज्ञाकारिता के लिए, अन्य मनुष्यों के समान ही  बहुत दुख और कष्ट सहने पड़े, परीक्षाओं और कठिनाइयों से होकर निकलना पड़ा। प्रभु यीशु की इस आज्ञाकारिता के विषय परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में लिखा गया है, “उसने अपनी देह में रहने के दिनों में ऊंचे शब्द से पुकार पुकार कर, और आंसू बहा बहा कर उस से जो उसको मृत्यु से बचा सकता था, प्रार्थनाएं और बिनती की और भक्ति के कारण उस की सुनी गई। और पुत्र होने पर भी, उसने दुख उठा उठा कर आज्ञा माननी सीखी। और सिद्ध बन कर, अपने सब आज्ञा मानने वालों के लिये सदा काल के उद्धार का कारण हो गया” (इब्रानियों 5:7-9); और “...वरन वह सब बातों में हमारे समान परखा तो गया, तौभी निष्पाप निकला” (इब्रानियों 4:15)।

 

    शैतान ने उनके जन्म से पहले से लेकर, उनकी मृत्यु के समय तक उनके द्वारा यह कार्य संपन्न होने से रोकने का प्रयास करने के लिए कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी:

* इसे समझने के लिए मत्ती 1:18-21 देखिए। जब प्रभु के सांसारिक पिता कहलाए जाने वाले व्यक्ति यूसुफ को पता चला कि उसकी मंगेतर मरियम, जिसमें होकर प्रभु यीशु ने जन्म लेना था, गर्भवती है, तो उसने उसे चुपके से छोड़ देने की योजना बनाई। उन दिनों में, मूसा द्वारा मिली व्यवस्था के अनुसार, व्यभिचार के दोषी को पत्थरवाह करके मार डाला जाता था (यूहन्ना 8:4, 5)। यदि यूसुफ मरियम को छोड़ देता, तो या तो उसके विवाह से पहले गर्भवती होने की बात खुल जाने पर मरियम को पत्थरवाह करके मार डाला जाता; या फिर मरियम त्यागी हुई स्त्री के समान अकेले ही समाज से तिरस्कृत जीवन जीने के लिए बाध्य हो जाती, और प्रभु भी जन्म के समय से ही तिरस्कृत और अपमानित, तथा समाज में अस्वीकार्य रहता; इस बात के लिए प्रभु को बाद में भी लोगों के ताने सुनने पड़े (यूहन्ना 8:41)। दोनों में से जो भी परिस्थिति कार्यान्वित होती, प्रभु का उद्धार का कार्य, आरंभ होने से पहले ही समाप्त हो जाता। किन्तु क्योंकि परमेश्वर के संदेश को सुन और मानकर यूसुफ ने मरियम को अपना लिया, शिशु यीशु को अपना नाम और परिवार दिया, इसलिए शैतान की यह योजना विफल हो गई। 

* प्रभु के जन्म के बाद, हेरोदेस राजा ने दो वर्ष की आयु से कम के बच्चों को मरवाने की आज्ञा देकर प्रभु को शिशु-अवस्था में ही मरवा डालने का प्रयास किया, किन्तु असफल रहा (मत्ती 2:13-16)। 

* प्रभु यीशु के वयस्क हो जाने और सेवकाई के आरंभ करने के समय वह लगातार चालीस दिन तक शैतान द्वारा परखा गया (लूका 4:1)। जब शैतान उसे पाप में नहीं गिरा सका, तो “कुछ समय के लिए” (लूका 4:13) उसके पास से चला गया, किन्तु उसकी सारी सेवकाई भर लोगों, विशेषकर धर्म के अगुवों और धर्म-गुरुओं को उसके विरुद्ध भड़काता रहा, उसकी सेवकाई में बाधाएं डालता रहा।

* धर्म-गुरुओं के षड्यंत्र के अंतर्गत (यूहन्ना 11:47-50), अन्ततः यीशु को पकड़ कर, रोमी गवर्नर पिलातुस को बाध्य कर के, प्रभु यीशु को क्रूस पर मार डाला गया।

* क्रूस की अवर्णनीय पीड़ा सहते हुए भी, वहाँ पर भी उसका ठट्ठा उड़ाया जाना ज़ारी रहा (मत्ती 27:41; लूका 23:36); किन्तु प्रभु ने कोई अपशब्द नहीं कहा, या दुर्भावना नहीं रखी, वरन अपने सताने वालों की क्षमा की प्रार्थना ही की; कोई पाप नहीं किया (लूका 23:34)। 

* उसे क्रूस पर से उतर आने का प्रलोभन दिया गया, इस आश्वासन के साथ कि यदि वह ऐसा करेगा, तो वे लोग उस पर विश्वास कर लेंगे (मत्ती 27:40, 42)। यदि उनकी बात मानकर प्रभु क्रूस पर से उतर आता, तो बलिदान का कार्य अधूरा रह जाता, और असफल हो जाता। 

* शैतान ने सोचा होगा कि अब यह प्रभु का अंत है; अब शैतान को रोकने वाला कोई नहीं रहा। किन्तु तीसरे दिन प्रभु यीशु के पुनरुत्थान ने उसकी सारी संतुष्टि और योजनाओं पर पानी फेर दिया। तब प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान के बाद भी शैतान ने प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान को ही झूठा ठहराने का षड्यंत्र कार्यान्वित कर दिया (मत्ती 28:13-15)।

 

    किन्तु शैतान की हर चाल को प्रभु ने विफल किया, और दिखा दिया कि मानव-देह में शैतान की युक्तियों, प्रलोभनों, और परीक्षाओं का सामना करने, और उसे पराजित करने की क्षमता है। शैतान के इन सभी प्रयासों ने परमेश्वर के कार्य को बाधित करने के स्थान पर और अधिक प्रबल कर दिया। शैतान के ये प्रयास परमेश्वर के वचन में दी गई प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित भविष्यवाणियों को पूरा और प्रमाणित करने वाले तथ्य बन गए; प्रभु परमेश्वर की महिमा के, उसके सत्य के सदा जयवन्त रहने के उदाहरण बन गए। हम प्रभु द्वारा परमेश्वर की आज्ञाकारिता के विषय आगे अगले लेख में देखेंगे।

    जिस प्रभु ने मानव देह में होकर यह दिखा दिया कि मनुष्य परमेश्वर की आज्ञाकारिता में रहते हुए, परमेश्वर की सहायता से शैतान का सामना कर सकता है, उसे पराजित कर सकता है, वही प्रभु परमेश्वर अपने शिष्यों को अपने पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य से भर देता है, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा प्रभु यीशु के शिष्यों में उसी पल से आकर बस जाता है जब वे पापों से पश्चाताप करते हैं और अपने जीवन प्रभु को समर्पित कर देते हैं (इफिसियों 1:13-14)। प्रभु के साथ तथा पवित्र आत्मा की सहायता एवं मार्गदर्शन से हम मनुष्य भी शैतान पर जयवंत हो सकते हैं। क्या आपने प्रभु के इस अद्भुत उपहार को पा लिया है?  यदि आप ने अभी भी उद्धार नहीं पाया है, अपने पापों के लिए प्रभु यीशु से क्षमा नहीं मांगी है, तो अभी आपके पास अवसर है। स्वेच्छा से, सच्चे और पूर्णतः समर्पित मन से, अपने पापों के प्रति सच्चे पश्चाताप के साथ एक छोटी प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु मैं मान लेता हूँ कि मैंने जाने-अनजाने में, मन-ध्यान-विचार और व्यवहार में आपकी अनाज्ञाकारिता की है, पाप किए हैं। मैं मान लेता हूँ कि आपने क्रूस पर दिए गए अपने बलिदान के द्वारा मेरे पापों के दण्ड को अपने ऊपर लेकर पूर्णतः सह लिया, उन पापों की पूरी-पूरी कीमत सदा काल के लिए चुका दी है। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मेरे मन को अपनी ओर परिवर्तित करें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें, अपने साथ कर लें।” आपका सच्चे मन से लिया गया मन परिवर्तन का यह निर्णय आपके इस जीवन तथा परलोक के जीवन को स्वर्गीय जीवन बना देगा।

The Necessities and Basis of Forgiveness of Sins

    Looking at the entry of sin into the world because of man's disobedience, its effects, and the solution, so far, we have seen that:

* Because sin entered through man, the solution was also to come through man. 

* Death came into the world because of sin; therefore, the solution of sin had to eradicate this effect of sin, death; and man had to be brought back into the condition of being immortal, as he was before sinning, in the Garden of Eden.  

* It required that there be a sinless, blameless, holy, perfect man who himself would suffer the death that had come upon mankind because of sin, and deliver man out the hold that death had over him. If the man who would suffer death had any sin, or even a minute guilt of sin, then he would suffer that death only for himself, and would not be able to give any benefits to anyone. 

* Every man born according to the general manner of human beings on earth, is disqualified from being the perfect sacrifice, because all humans are born with sin-nature that is present in them since the moment of their conception. In this context, we have seen in the last two articles how the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived; how He was brought into the world through a special body created for Him, which did not come into existence according to the general natural manner of human conception; but He was born like any other human being, and lived a completely sinless, spotless, holy, and perfect life, from the time of His coming into the womb until the time of his death on the cross. Neither during His lifetime, nor in the more than two thousand years since then, no one has been able to show any sin, nor could anyone ever prove the guilt of any sin in His life.  

* Sin and death entered the Garden of Eden because of the disobedience of man; And the reason for this disobedience was man's doubting God's good intentions and plans for him. The effects of sin and death could only be reversed and removed out of man's life by reversing the reasons and process of man’s disobedience that gave entry to sin and death, through complete obedience. Just as man willingly disobeyed God, similarly, to reverse the process, man had to willingly agree to live in complete obedience to God throughout his life, without doubting or disbelieving God for anything that God said or asked him to do. 

    

    From today we will see about the Lord Jesus Christ fulfilling this condition of complete obedience to God. It is not that since the Lord Jesus was the Son of God, since He was fully God and fully man, therefore living this life of obedience to God was easy and simple for Him. In His human form, the Lord Jesus also had to suffer a lot; He had to go through trials and hardships for being obedient like any other human being. It is written in God's Word, the Bible, regarding the obedience of the Lord Jesus that, “who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” (Hebrews 5:7-9); and “...but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15).

    Satan left no stone unturned to try to prevent him from completing this work, even from before his birth until the time of his death:

* See Matthew 1:18-21 to understand this. When Joseph, the man called the earthly father of the Lord, learned that his fiancée Mary, through whom the Lord Jesus was to be born, was pregnant, he planned to leave her quietly.  In those days, according to the Law given by Moses, the woman found guilty of adultery was stoned to death (John 8:4, 5).  If Joseph had left Mary, then when it would have become evident that she was pregnant before her marriage, either Mary would have been stoned to death; or Mary would have been compelled to live a life of being a cast-away from society, all alone. Therefore, like His lonely and forsaken mother, the Lord would also have been despised and rejected from the time of His birth, and become unacceptable to the society. For this, even later on, the Lord had to listen to people's taunts (John 8:41). If any of these two conditions got implemented, the Lord's work of salvation of mankind would have ended before it even began. But because after hearing and obeying God's message Joseph accepted Mary, gave his name and family to the infant Jesus, Satan's ploy failed. 

* After the Lord's birth, King Herod attempted to kill the Lord in His infancy, by ordering the killing of all children under the age of two, but failed (Matthew 2:13-16).  

* When the Lord Jesus became an adult and was to begin His ministry, He was continually tested by Satan for forty days (Luke 4:1). When Satan could not make Him sin, he went away from Him, "until an opportune time" (Luke 4:13), but throughout His ministry continued to provoke people, especially the religious leaders and teachers, against him, attempting to obstruct His ministry, one way or another. 

* Under the machination of the religious leaders (John 11:47-50), the Lord Jesus was caught and crucified, by forcing the Roman governor Pilate to order putting Him to death. 

* Even though He was enduring the indescribable pain of the cross, He was further tormented by being mocked there too (Matthew 27:41; Luke 23:36); But the Lord did not utter any harsh words or profanity, nor did He have any ill-will against His tormentors, but He prayed for the forgiveness of those who persecuted Him; in that situation too, He committed no sin (Luke 23:34). 

* He was tempted to come down from the cross, with the assurance that if He did, they would believe in Him (Matthew 27:40, 42). If the Lord had listened to them and come down from the cross, the work of His sacrifice would have remained incomplete, and would have failed.  

* Satan must have thought that now this is the end of the Lord; There is no one left to stop him now. But on the third day, the resurrection of the Lord Jesus turned the tables on all His satisfaction and plans. After the Lord's resurrection, Satan immediately implemented a plot to falsify the Lord's resurrection (Matthew 28:13-15). 

    But the Lord not only thwarted every move of Satan, but He also showed that the human body has the ability to withstand, and defeat, Satan's machinations, temptations, and trials. All of these efforts of Satan only made God's work more effective instead of hindering it. These efforts of Satan became facts fulfilling and attesting to the prophecies concerning the Lord Jesus given in God's Word; they became a means of bringing Glory to the Lord God, and became examples of the eventual and everlasting triumph of Truth. We will continue to look at this subject of the Lord's obedience to God in the next article too. 

    The Lord Jesus in the human flesh has shown that man, by being obedient to God, can face and overcome Satan with the help of God. The same Lord God today fills His disciples with the power of His Holy Spirit. God the Holy Spirit comes and resides in the disciples of the Lord Jesus from the moment they repent of their sins and submit their lives to the Lord (Ephesians 1:13-14). With the presence of the Lord by our side, and with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit living in us, we human beings can also conquer Satan, once we decide to become His disciples and live in obedience to Him. Have you asked for and received this wonderful gift of being His disciple from the Lord? If you have still not done so, if you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heart-felt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company, wants to see you blessed; but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

प्रभु यीशु पूर्णतः मनुष्य थे

    हमने उद्धार से संबंधित तीसरे और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न कि “इसके लिए यह इतना आवश्यक क्यों हुआ कि स्वयं परमेश्वर प्रभु यीशु को स्वर्ग छोड़कर सँसार में बलिदान होने के लिए आना पड़ा?” पर विचार करते हुए पिछले लेख में देखा है कि परमेश्वर द्वारा उपलब्ध करवाए गए समाधान के लिए जिस पवित्र और सिद्ध मनुष्य की आवश्यकता थी, वह मनुष्यों के जन्म और जीवन की प्रणाली के अनुसार पाया जाना असंभव था। उसका पृथ्वी पर आना और अस्तित्व अलौकिक विधि से ही संभव हो सकता था, और परमेश्वर ने ही यह प्रावधान करके दिया; उस प्रावधान के लिए आवश्यक सिद्ध मनुष्य के जन्म और जीवन से संबंधित सभी अनिवार्य गुण प्रभु यीशु मसीह में हैं। परमेश्वर का पुत्र, प्रभु यीशु मसीह, मनुष्यों के पापों के लिए बलिदान होने के लिए, अपने परमेश्वरत्व की सामर्थ्य, वैभव और महिमा को छोड़कर, एक साधारण और सामान्य मनुष्य बनकर इस संसार में आ गया “जैसा मसीह यीशु का स्वभाव था वैसा ही तुम्हारा भी स्वभाव हो। जिसने परमेश्वर के स्वरूप में हो कर भी परमेश्वर के तुल्य होने को अपने वश में रखने की वस्तु न समझा। वरन अपने आप को ऐसा शून्य कर दिया, और दास का स्वरूप धारण किया, और मनुष्य की समानता में हो गया। और मनुष्य के रूप में प्रगट हो कर अपने आप को दीन किया, और यहां तक आज्ञाकारी रहा, कि मृत्यु, हां, क्रूस की मृत्यु भी सह ली” (फिलिप्पियों 2:5-8)।

    यद्यपि प्रभु यीशु मसीह त्रिएक परमेश्वर का दूसरा व्यक्तित्व, परमेश्वर पुत्र है, किन्तु, जैसा उपरोक्त बाइबल खंड से प्रकट है, पृथ्वी पर मनुष्य बनकर जन्म लेने में उन्होंने अपने आप को ईश्वरीय नहीं वरन मानवीय स्वरूप एवं व्यवहार के अंतर्गत कर लिया, और एक साधारण मनुष्य समान ही जीवन व्यतीत किया:

* उन्होंने एक सामान्य शिशु के समान जन्म लिया, और अन्य बच्चों के समान ही उनका पालन पोषण हुआ, वे बड़े हुए (लूका 2:6-7)। 

* वे अपने सांसारिक माता-पिता की अधीनता में और उन के आज्ञाकारी रहे (लूका 2:51)। 

* उनके इलाके के लोग उन्हें एक सामान्य मनुष्य, अपने सांसारिक पिता के समान एक बढ़ई का काम करने वाले के रूप में जानते थे (मरकुस 6:3)।

* लोगों के अविश्वास से उन्हें अचंभा हुआ (मरकुस 6:6)

* सभी मनुष्यों के समान, पैदल यात्रा से उन्हें भी थकान होती थी, भूख और प्यास लगती थी (यूहन्ना 4:6-8), वे भी भोजन करते थे (यूहन्ना 13:4; लूका 24:42-43)। 

* सभी मनुष्यों के समान उनमें भी भावनाएं थीं:

** वे बच्चों से प्रेम करते थे (मत्ती 19:14)

** दुखियों और समाज के तिरस्कृत लोगों पर उन्हें तरस आता था (लूका 7:12-13; मत्ती 20:34)

** वे प्रिय जनों के देहांत और उनके परिवार के दुख से दुखी होकर स्वयं भी रोए (यूहन्ना 11:35-36)

** वे धार्मिकता और परमेश्वर के वचन के प्रति दोगलेपन के व्यवहार को सहन नहीं कर सकते थे (मत्ती 15:1-9; 23 अध्याय)

** धार्मिकता के प्रति अनुचित ढिठाई के व्यवहार से उन्हें क्रोध आया (मरकुस 3:5)

** अधर्मियों और अविश्वासियों पर आने वाले प्रकोप और विनाश से भी वे दुखी हुए और रोए (लूका 19:41-44; मत्ती 23:37)

** वो धैर्यवान एवं सहनशील थे - यह जानते हुए भी कि उनका शिष्य यहूदा इस्करियोती उन्हें मार डाले जाने के लिए पकड़वाने वाला है, प्रभु ने यहूदा के विरुद्ध एक भी बात नहीं की, कोई कटाक्ष नहीं किया, उसे औरों के सामने उजागर और अपमानित नहीं किया, वरन उसके प्रभु को छोड़ कर चले जाने तक प्रभु उससे प्रेम का ही व्यवहार करता रहा (यूहन्ना 13:21-30)। 

** वो भलाई करने वाले थे - पकड़वाए जाने के समय भी प्रभु ने उन्हें पकड़ने आए हुए लोगों के विरुद्ध कुछ नहीं किया, जबकि उन्हें नाश कर देना उसकी सामर्थ्य में था; वरन वहाँ पर भी प्रभु ने अपना बुरा चाहने वाले को चंगाई दी (मत्ती 26:51-53; लूका 22:51)। 

** वो क्षमाशील थे - पकड़वाए जाने के बाद से लेकर क्रूस पर उनकी मृत्यु तक, प्रभु को लगातार उपहास, अपमान, लांछन, यातनाओं और मिथ्या आरोपों का सामना करना पड़ा; किन्तु वे चुपचाप सब सहते रहे, किसी के विरुद्ध कुछ नहीं कहा, किसी को कोई अपशब्द नहीं कहा, कोई श्राप नहीं दिया। वरन उन्हें क्रूस पर चढ़ाने वालों के लिए भी उन्होंने क्षमा की प्रार्थना की, और उनकी निन्दा करने वाले डाकू ने जब पश्चाताप किया, तो उसे भी उन्होंने तुरंत क्षमा कर दिया, स्वर्ग में होने का आश्वासन दे दिया।  

* सभी मनुष्यों के समान उन्हें भी नींद की आवश्यकता होती थी (लूका 8:23)

* उन्हें भी लोगों के विरोध, बैर, और मार डाले जाने की बातों का सामना करना पड़ा (यूहन्ना 5:18, 41; 8:40-41,50, 59)

   इन सभी बातों में से होकर निकलने पर भी, जो एक सामान्य मनुष्य से यदि शब्दों और कार्यों में नहीं, तो कम से कम मन या विचारों में पाप करवा सकती हैं, प्रभु यीशु ने कभी कोई पाप नहीं किया। इसीलिए इब्रानियों की पत्री का लेखक उनके लिए लिखता है, “सो जब हमारा ऐसा बड़ा महायाजक है, जो स्वर्गों से हो कर गया है, अर्थात परमेश्वर का पुत्र यीशु; तो आओ, हम अपने अंगीकार को दृढ़ता से थामें रहे। क्योंकि हमारा ऐसा महायाजक नहीं, जो हमारी निर्बलताओं में हमारे साथ दुखी न हो सके; वरन वह सब बातों में हमारे समान परखा तो गया, तौभी निष्पाप निकला” (इब्रानियों 4:14-15)। उनके शिष्य यूहन्ना ने, जो लगभग साढ़े तीन वर्ष उनके साथ रहा था, जिसने उन्हें और उनके कार्यों को निकटता से देखा था, उनकी बातों और शिक्षाओं को सुना था, और जो प्रभु से बहुत घनिष्ठ था (यूहन्ना 13:23; 21:7) अपनी पत्री में उनके लिए लिखा, “और तुम जानते हो, कि वह इसलिये प्रगट हुआ, कि पापों को हर ले जाए; और उसके स्वभाव में पाप नहीं” (1 यूहन्ना 3:5)।

 

   प्रभु यीशु मसीह, हर बात में, हर रीति से पूर्णतः मनुष्य थे; साथ ही वे पूर्णतः परमेश्वर भी थे, जिन्होंने अपने परमेश्वरत्व को, अपनी सामर्थ्य को, पृथ्वी की उनकी सेवकाई के दिनों में केवल औरों की भलाई के लिए ही प्रयोग किया, कभी अपने लिए नहीं (प्रेरितों 10:38; मत्ती 4:1-11)। केवल वो ही वह एकमात्र ऐसे उपयुक्त व्यक्ति थे जो औरों के पापों को अपने ऊपर लेकर उनके लिए दण्ड सह सकते थे, क्योंकि उनमें कभी किसी प्रकार का कोई पाप नहीं था इसलिए उन्हें अपने पाप के विषय कुछ नहीं करना था, जो भी करना था औरों के पापों के लिए ही करना था। इस प्रेमी, अनुग्रहकारी, धीरजवंत प्रभु ने मेरे और आपके पापों के निवारण और पाप की समस्या का समाधान तैयार कर के सेंत-मेंत उपलब्ध करवा दिया है। क्या आप उसके इस समाधान को स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे? आपके प्रति उसके प्रेम और कृपा में ऐसी क्या कमी, क्या बात है जो आपको उसके प्रेम भरे आमंत्रण को स्वीकार करने से रोकती है? उसके निमंत्रण को स्वीकार करने के लिए आपको सच्चे और समर्पित मन से एक प्रार्थना ही तो करनी है, जो आपके मन और जीवन को बदल कर नया कर दे, परमेश्वर के साथ आपका मेल-मिलाप करवा दे।

The Lord Jesus was Fully Human

       While considering the third and most important question about salvation, “Why was it so necessary for this that Lord God Jesus Christ Himself had to leave heaven, and come down to earth to be sacrificed?” We saw that the holy and perfect man required for the God given solution was impossible to find among men born through the natural manner of human birth. The coming and living on earth of such a man could only have been possible by supernatural method, and again, it was God who made this provision too. All the qualities essential for the birth and life of the perfect man necessary for God’s provision are found in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, came into this world as an ordinary and normal man, leaving the power, splendor, and glory of His divinity; to be sacrificed for the sins of man. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” (Philippians 2:5-8).

    Although the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second personality of the Triune God, but, as is apparent from the above Bible quote, in being born as a man on earth, He kept himself not in the Godly nature, but in human nature and behavior, and lived like an ordinary man:

* He was born like a normal infant, and was brought up just like any other child (Luke 2:6-7).

* He was subject to and obedient to His earthly parents (Luke 2:51).

* The people of his locality knew him as a normal man, a carpenter like his earthly father (Mark 6:3).

* He was surprised by the unbelief of the people in Him (Mark 6:6).

* Like all men, traveling by walking made Him feel tired, hungry, and thirsty (John 4:6-8); He also required and ate food (John 13:4); Luke 24:42-43).

* Like all humans, He also had feelings, and emotions:

** He loved the children (Matthew 19:14)

** He felt pity for the afflicted and the despised people of the society (Luke 7:12-13; Matthew 20:34)

** He also wept, grieving at the death of His loved ones and the suffering of the families (John 11:35-36).

** He could not tolerate misuse of, and hypocrisy toward God's Word (Matthew 15:1-9; & chapter 23).

** He was angry by the stubborn, hard-hearted, unrighteous behavior of the religious leaders (Mark 3:5).

** He was grieved about the impending doom of the unrighteous and non-believers, and wept because of it (Luke 19:41-44; Matthew 23:37).

** He was patient and tolerant - Though knowing that His disciple Judas Iscariot was about to have Him caught to be killed, still, the Lord did not do or say anything against Judas, did not mock or ridicule him, did not expose and humiliate him before others. Instead, till the time he left Him, the Lord continued to treat him with love (John 13:21-30).

** He did good to others - Even at the time of being captured, the Lord did nothing against those who had come to capture Him, though it was in His power to destroy them; and even there, the Lord came forward to heal the one who had come to harm Him (Matthew 26:51-53; Luke 22:51).

** He was forgiving - From being captured until his death on the cross, the Lord had to face constant ridicule, humiliation, many false accusations were hurled at Him, He was unjustly abused and tortured. But He suffered them all silently, said nothing against anyone, did not use any intemperate language, did not curse anyone. He even prayed for the forgiveness of those who crucified Him, and when the robber who initially blasphemed Him repented, He immediately forgave him, assuring him of being in heaven.

* Like all humans, He needed sleep (Luke 8:23).

* He too faced people's opposition, hatred, and even attempts of eliminating Him (John 5:18, 41; 8:40-41, 50, 59).

    Even after going through all these things, which can provoke any normal man to sin, if not in words and deeds, then at least in mind or thoughts; yet the Lord Jesus never sinned. That is why the author of the Epistle of the Hebrews writes for Him, “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:14-15). His disciple John, who had been with Him for about three and a half years, and had closely observed Him in various situations, had witnessed His works, had heard His messages and teachings, and who himself was very close to the Lord (John 13:23; 21:7) wrote about Him in his letter that, “And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.” (1 John 3:5).

    The Lord Jesus Christ was, in every way, fully human; At the same time, He was fully God, who used His divinity, His power, in the days of His ministry on the earth only for the good of others, never for Himself (Acts 10:38; Matthew 4:1-11).  He was the only suitable person who could bear the punishment for others by taking their sins upon Himself, because He had never sinned, so there was nothing He had to do about His own sin; whatever He had to do was for the sins of others. This loving, gracious, merciful, longsuffering Lord has prepared and freely made available the remedy of sins, the solution to the problem of sin, for you and me. Will you not accept this solution? Is there anything lacking in His love and grace towards you that is keeping you from accepting his loving invitation? In order to accept His loving invitation, all you have to do is pray with a sincere and submissive heart, and that will change your mind and life, make you a new person, and will reconcile you with God for eternity.

    If you have still not been Born Again, not obtained salvation, have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart and with heart-felt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company, wants to see you blessed; but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
