निर्गमन 12:8-10 (5) - प्रभु की मेज़ -
परमेश्वर के लोगों के छुटकारे का स्मरण (1)
प्रभु
की मेज़, या प्रभु भोज, जिसे प्रभु यीशु
ने अपने शिष्यों के साथ फसह के पर्व को मनाते हुए, फसह की
सामग्री के द्वारा स्थापित किया था, पर हमारे ज़ारी अध्ययन
में हम निर्गमन 12 में दिए गए फसह से संबंधित परमेश्वर के
निर्देशों का उपयोग करते हुए प्रभु की मेज़ से संबंधित तथ्यों को सीखते और समझते आ
रहे हैं, क्योंकि फसह, प्रभु भोज का
प्ररूप है। अब क्योंकि लोग परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन करने और सीखने के प्रति
बेपरवाह हो गए हैं, और उन्हें जो भी पुल्पिट से बता और सिखा
दिया जाता है, उसे बिना पहले परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल से परखे
और उसकी पुष्टि करे, उसे स्वीकार करने और पालन करने वाले बन
गए हैं, इसलिए शैतान भी अपनी गलत शिक्षाओं, झूठे सिद्धांतों, और बाइबल की शिक्षाओं से संबंधित
उसकी शैतानी, भ्रष्ट व्याख्याओं को लोगों तथा कलीसियाओं में
आसानी से घुसाने पाया है। क्योंकि शायद ही कोई होता है जो उसकी युक्तियों को
परमेश्वर के वचन से परखता है और उसकी गलत बातों को चुनौती देता है, इसलिए उसकी गलत शिक्षाएं और अनुचित व्याख्याएँ ईसाई या मसीही समाज में
इतनी गहराई से बैठ गई हैं कि लोग अब परमेश्वर के वचन की खरी शिक्षाओं पर संदेह
करने लगे हैं, किन्तु शैतान के धोखे को स्वीकार करने और
मानने में संतुष्ट और प्रसन्न रहते हैं। इसी प्रकार से शैतान ने प्रभु भोज को भी
बिगाड़ दिया है, और लोगों को भरमा दिया है जिससे वे यह मानने
लगे हैं कि किसी भी रीति से, जैसे भी उनके समुदायों और
डिनॉमिनेशन में वह मनाया जाता है, उसे मना लेने से वे धर्मी,
परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में प्रवेश
करने के लिए योग्य हो जाते हैं - जो बाइबल के बिल्कुल विपरीत ऐसी बात है, जिसने बहुतेरों को अनंत विनाश के मार्ग पर डाल दिया है। इसका केवल एक ही
समाधान है कि लोग परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन आरंभ करें, प्रत्येक
बात को पहले बाइबल से सत्यापित करें तब ही स्वीकार करें, और
परमेश्वर तथा उसके वचन के आज्ञाकारी बनें, न कि मनुष्यों के;
अर्थात, मनुष्यों को नहीं किन्तु परमेश्वर को
प्रसन्न करने वाले बनें, चाहे कोई भी कीमत चुकानी पड़े।
पिछले
कुछ समय से हम निर्गमन 12:8-10 से, वहाँ
दिए गए विभिन्न प्रतीकों और चिह्नों, तथा प्रभु यीशु के विषय
उनके प्रयोग के द्वारा प्रभु की मेज़ के अर्थ, महत्व, और उसमें भाग लेने के बारे में समझते और सीखते आ रहे हैं। पिछले लेखों में
हमने देखा था कि मेज़ में भाग लेते समय “प्रभु के दुखों को याद करने” का वास्तविक
अभिप्राय क्या है, और किस प्रकार से शैतान ने उसे एक व्यर्थ,
महत्वहीन परंपरा बना दिया है, जिसमें लोग एक
औपचारिकता निभाने के लिए भाग लेते रहते हैं, और फिर भी यही
समझते तथा मानते हैं कि वे सही कर रहे हैं, परमेश्वर की
दृष्टि में सही हैं। आज भी हम इसी भाग, निर्गमन 12:8-10 से इससे आगे की बातों को देखेंगे और अपने विषय के बारे में और सीखेंगे।
निर्गमन
12:9-10 में लिखा है कि संपूर्ण मेमने को आग पर पकाया और फिर
खाया जाना था; और प्रातः होने तक यदि कुछ रह भी जाए तो उसे
जला देना था। हम पिछले लेख में सीधे आग पर पकाने के अर्थ और तात्पर्य को देख चुके
हैं। आज हम संपूर्ण मेमने के पकाए जाने और प्रातः होने पर उसके शेष बचे भाग को जला
देने के बारे में देखेंगे। उस समय पर इस्राएलियों को यह नहीं पता था कि मिस्र को
छोड़कर निकल जाने की पुकार कब आ जाएगी, लेकिन उन्हें जब भी
जाना पड़ता, जाने से पहले उन्हें शेष बचे हुए मेमने को जला
देना था।
हमने
पिछले लेख में देखा था कि समस्त मानवजाति के सारे पापों को अपने ऊपर लेकर उनका
प्रायश्चित करने के लिए, प्रभु यीशु को परमेश्वर ने पाप ठहरा
दिया (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:21), अर्थात
साकार पाप - अपनी संपूर्णता में, अन्दर-बाहर, प्रभु यीशु पाप ठहराया गया था। उसका साकार पाप होना, बलि के मेमने को उसकी संपूर्णता में आग पर पकाए जाने का एक कारण था।
क्योंकि समस्त मानवजाति के सभी पापों को अपने ऊपर ले लेने के कारण यीशु संपूर्णता
में पाप ठहराया दिया गया, इसीलिए उसके शरीर के प्रत्येक भाग
को परमेश्वर के प्रकोप की ज्वाला को सहना था। संपूर्ण मेमने का आग पर पकाया जाना
परमेश्वर के मेमने को अपनी संपूर्णता में मानव-जाति के पापों के प्रायश्चित के
लिये, परमेश्वर के प्रकोप की अग्नि को सहने का प्रतीक था।
पाप के प्रति परमेश्वर के प्रकोप को उसके हर अंग पर आना था।
इसका
एक और कारण यह भी था कि बलि के मेमने को आग पर लाने से पहले काट कर उसके कुछ भागों
को अलग करके फेंका और फिर शेष बचे भागों को आग पर नहीं ले जाया जा सकता था,
क्योंकि इससे यह तात्पर्य निकलता कि परमेश्वर के मेमने में कुछ
अपूर्णताएं थीं, उसके कुछ भाग अनुपयोगी और व्यर्थ थे,
वह पूर्णतः सिद्ध नहीं था। किन्तु प्रभु यीशु सिर से पाँव तक,
अन्दर-बाहर, हर रीति से सिद्ध था। इब्रानियों 10:5
“इसी कारण वह जगत में आते समय कहता है, कि
बलिदान और भेंट तू ने न चाही, पर मेरे लिये एक देह तैयार
किया” पर ध्यान कीजिए, प्रभु यीशु मरियम के गर्भ में
मनुष्यों की सामान्य रीति से नहीं आए थे। परमेश्वर ने उनके लिए एक देह तैयार की थी
और उसे मरियम के गर्भ में रखा, जिसमें होकर वे किसी भी अन्य
सामान्य मानव-शिशु के समान विकसित हुए, हर शिशु, सामान्य रीति से जन्म लेते समय जिन बातों को सहन करता है प्रभु ने भी
उन्हें सहा और जन्म लिया, और फिर बड़े हुए। सो, इस प्रकार से सिद्ध परमेश्वर के लिए उनकी मानव देह भी पूर्णतः सिद्ध और
बिना किसी विकार अथवा त्रुटि की थी। उनके किसी भी भाग को अपूर्ण अथवा अनुपयोगी
कहकर फेंका नहीं जा सकता था।
अगले
लेख में हम यहाँ से आगे बढ़ेंगे, और मिस्र से निकलने से पहले
मेमने के शेष भागों को जलाए जाने के बारे में, तथा आज
प्रभु-भोज में भाग लेने के लिए उसके महत्व के बारे में देखेंगे।
यदि
आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो
अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में
अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके
वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और
सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया
है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है,
तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने
पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से
अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही
एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी
प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित
करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और
समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे
स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और
आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें।
मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने
की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन
इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक
प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक
के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।
क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं
करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

- The Lord’s Table - A Reminder of the Deliverance of God’s People (1)
In our ongoing
study of the Lord’s Table, or, the Holy Communion, which was established by the
Lord Jesus, while observing the Passover with His disciples, using the elements
of the Passover, we are using God’s instructions about the Passover, the antecedent
of the Holy Communion, given in Exodus 12, to understand and learn the Biblical
truths about the Lord’s Table. Since people have become disinterested in
studying and learning God’s Word, and are content with accepting everything
told and taught to them from the pulpit, and following it, without first
verifying it from God’s Word the Bible, Satan has easily been able to
infiltrate many wrong teachings, false doctrines, and his devious, corrupt
interpretations of God’s Word amongst the people and the Church. Since hardly
anyone bothers to cross-check his ploys through God’s Word, and challenge him
for the false things he says, therefore his misinterpretations and false
teachings have become so firmly entrenched in Christendom, that people now
doubt the true teachings from God’s Word, but are comfortable to accept Satan’s
deceptions and follow them. Satan has similarly corrupted the Holy Communion as
well, and has made people think that by participating in it in any manner, as
practiced in their sects and denominations, they become righteous, acceptable
to God, and worthy of being admitted to heaven - a totally unBiblical belief,
which has put many onto the path of eternal destruction. The only way to
rectify is to study God’s Word, verify everything from the Bible before
accepting it, become obedient to God and His Word, not man; i.e., strive to be
and live as a God-pleaser, not as men-pleasers, at any cost.
For the past
some time we have been studying the various symbolisms given in Exodus 12:8-10,
and their application to the Lord Jesus, and how it helps us understand about
the meaning, significance, and participation in the Lord’s Table. In the recent
articles we saw what it means to “remember the Lord’s sufferings” while
partaking of the Table, and how Satan has taken away the very heart of the
remembrance and turned it into a vain, inconsequential ritual, in which people
participate perfunctorily, and yet believe that they are doing the right thing,
are okay with God. We will carry on from here, and using the same portion,
Exodus 12:8-10, learn further about the subject.
It says in
Exodus 12:9-10, that the whole of the sacrificial lamb was to be roasted on
fire, and eaten; and anything that remained by morning was to be burnt up. We
have seen the significance and implication of directly roasting on the fire in
the previous article. Today we will see about the whole lamb being used, and
its remaining portion being burnt by morning. At that time the Israelites did
not know when the call to leave Egypt would come, but before they left, they
had to burn up the remaining portion of the sacrificial lamb.
We saw in the
previous article that in taking all the sins of entire mankind upon Himself and
atoning for them, Jesus was made sin by God (2 Corinthians 5:21), i.e., sin
personified - all of Him, inside-out was made sin. His becoming sin personified
was one reason that the whole of the Passover sacrificial lamb had to be
roasted on fire; since, in taking the sins of all of mankind upon Himself, the
whole of the Lord Jesus became sin, and therefore every part of Him had to
endure the fire of God’s wrath. The roasting of the entire lamb signified that
the whole of God’s sacrificial Lamb, for atoning the sin of mankind, had to
suffer the heat of God’s wrath upon sin. Every part of Him had to bear the heat
of God’s wrath for sin.
Another reason
that the lamb could not be cut and certain parts discarded before being put on
fire, while the rest were roasted on fire was that this would have implied that
God’s sacrificial Lamb too had some imperfections, some discardable or
unnecessary parts, that could be removed and thrown away. Lord Jesus, His whole
self, head to toe, inside out, was perfect in every manner. Consider Hebrews
10:5, “Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and
offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.” The Lord
Jesus was not conceived in Mary’s womb in the natural manner of mankind. God
prepared a body for Him and placed it within Mary’s womb to grow and be born as
just any other baby and suffer the same things that every baby suffers in its
natural birth and then growing up. So, in essence, His was a perfect body, for
the perfect God; absolutely sinless and flawless in every conceivable aspect.
No part of His body could be called imperfect or unnecessary, and discarded.
In the next
article we will move ahead from here and consider about the remaining parts of
the lamb being burnt before leaving Egypt, and its significance today when
participating in the Lord's Table.
If you have not
yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its
favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's
security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where
His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not
obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your
sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord
Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves
into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you
have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with
heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do
this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have
knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds,
committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by
your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all
eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and
make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and
wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision.
One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and
future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you
heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time
and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
