    हम पिछले लेख में जहाँ पर रुके थे, आज वहीं से मानवीय स्वास्थ्य के बारे में बाइबल में लिखी बातों को आगे देखेंगे, जो मुख्यतः बचाव द्वारा बीमारियों से सुरक्षित रहने के बारे में हैं। परमेश्वर ने न केवल मनुष्य के शरीर की रचना में उसे स्वस्थ बनाए रखने के लिए प्रावधान प्रदान किए हैं, किन्तु साथ ही अपने वचन बाइबल की पुस्तकों में अनेकों ऐसे उपाय भी लिखवाए हैं, जिनके पालन के द्वारा मनुष्य स्वस्थ बन रह सकता है। परमेश्वर ने ये निर्देश हज़ारों वर्ष पहले मनुष्यों को दे दिए थे; वर्तमान में चिकित्सा-विज्ञान इनके महत्व और उपयोगिता को पहचान रहा है, तथा “बचाव द्वारा स्वास्थ्य” की शिक्षा के रूप में पालन करने के लिए कह रहा है। परमेश्वर द्वारा बाइबल में दिए गए स्वास्थ्य संबंधी कुछ निर्देश हैं:

परमेश्वर ने लगभग 3500 वर्ष पहले, अपने लोगों से कहा था कि वे शौच के लिए अपनी छावनी के क्षेत्र से बाहर जाएँ, और अपने साथ मल को ढांपने के लिए उपकरण भी ले जाएं “छावनी के बाहर तेरे दिशा फिरने का एक स्थान हुआ करे, और वहीं दिशा फिरने को जाया करना; और तेरे पास के हथियारों में एक खनती भी रहे; और जब तू दिशा फिरने को बैठे, तब उस से खोदकर अपने मल को ढांप देना” (व्यवस्थाविवरण 23:12-13)। हम आज जानते हैं कि मल से प्रदूषित पानी या भोजन सामग्री के खाने से, या उससे दूषित मिट्टी के संपर्क में रहने से कितने ही रोग होते हैं। रोगों की रोक-थाम की योजनाओं में पानी और मिट्टी को मल से दूषित होने से रोके रखने के उपाय सबसे प्राथमिक और महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं। कहा जाता है कि प्रथम विश्व-युद्ध होने के समय तक उतने सैनिक युद्ध से नहीं मरे थे, जितने छावनियों में फैलने वाली बीमारियों से मरे, क्योंकि उन्होंने स्वच्छता के इस सिद्धांत का पालन नहीं किया था।

    परमेश्वर ने अपने वचन में बताया है कि यौन-संबंध पति-पत्नी के मध्य ही उचित और स्वीकार्य हैं। व्यभिचार, अनेकों के साथ यौन-संबंध रखना, समलैंगिक संबंध, आदि सभी शरीर में रोगों और अस्वस्थता उत्पन्न करते हैं (रोमियों 1:27; 1 कुरिन्थियों 6:18)। आज चिकित्सा विज्ञान में यौनाचार से सम्बन्धित बीमारियों की एक पूर्ण श्रेणी है -  “Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s)” जो परमेश्वर के इसी सिद्धान्त के पालन न करने के कारण फैलती और अपने विनाशकारी प्रभाव उत्पन्न करती हैं। 

परमेश्वर ने लगभग 3000 वर्ष पहले अपने लोगों को शुद्ध और अशुद्ध जीव-जन्तुओं की सूची दी थी, अशुद्ध पशुओं को भोजन के लिए निषेध किया था (लैव्यव्यवस्था 11; तथा व्यवस्थाविवरण 14 अध्याय)। जिन पशुओं को भोजन के लिए निषिद्ध किया गया था उनमें सूअर सहित कुछ और जानवर “फिर सूअर, जो चिरे खुर का होता है परन्तु पागुर नहीं करता, इस कारण वह तुम्हारे लिये अशुद्ध है। तुम न तो इनका मांस खाना, और न इनकी लोथ छूना” (व्यवस्थाविवरण 14:8), और जलाशयों के तले में रहने वाले जल-जंतु, जिनके चोंयेटे और पंख (scales & fins) नहीं होते, सम्मिलित हैं: “फिर जितने जल जन्तु हैं उन में से तुम इन्हें खा सकते हों, अर्थात समुद्र वा नदियों के जल जन्तुओं में से जितनों के पंख और चोंयेटे होते हैं उन्हें खा सकते हो। और जलचरी प्राणियों में से जितने जीवधारी बिना पंख और चोंयेटे के समुद्र वा नदियों में रहते हैं वे सब तुम्हारे लिये घृणित हैं। वे तुम्हारे लिये घृणित ठहरें; तुम उनके मांस में से कुछ न खाना, और उनकी लोथों को अशुद्ध जानना। जल में जिस किसी जन्तु के पंख और चोंयेटे नहीं होते वह तुम्हारे लिये अशुद्ध है” (लैव्यव्यवस्था 11:9-12)। ये जीव-जंतु बहुधा तले पर पड़ी गंदगी खाने वाले होते हैं, जिससे मनुष्यों में बीमारियों के प्रवेश करने का खतरा रहता है। उस समय जब चिकित्सा उन्नत नहीं थी, दवाइयाँ नहीं थीं, यह एक तरीका था, गन्दगी में रहने और उसे खाने वाले पशुओं द्वारा बीमार हो जाने से बचे रहने का।

    परमेश्वर ने निर्देश दिए थे कि पीने के लिए स्वच्छ जल का ही प्रयोग करना है, और किसी भी मृतक जन्तु से दूषित बर्तन के भोजन अथवा उसके जल को प्रयोग नहीं करना है “और यदि मिट्टी का कोई पात्र हो जिस में इन जन्तुओं में से कोई पड़े, तो उस पात्र में जो कुछ हो वह अशुद्ध ठहरे, और पात्र को तुम तोड़ डालना। उस में जो खाने के योग्य भोजन हो, जिस में पानी का छुआव हों वह सब अशुद्ध ठहरे; फिर यदि ऐसे पात्र में पीने के लिये कुछ हो तो वह भी अशुद्ध ठहरे। और यदि इनकी लोथ में का कुछ तंदूर वा चूल्हे पर पड़े तो वह भी अशुद्ध ठहरे, और तोड़ डाला जाए; क्योंकि वह अशुद्ध हो जाएगा, वह तुम्हारे लिये भी अशुद्ध ठहरे। परन्तु सोता वा तालाब जिस में जल इकट्ठा हो वह तो शुद्ध ही रहे; परन्तु जो कोई इनकी लोथ को छूए वह अशुद्ध ठहरे” (लैव्यव्यवस्था 11:33-36)। वर्तमान में चिकित्सा विज्ञान को मनुष्यों में रोग उत्पन्न करने वाले कीटाणुओं की जानकारी होने के बाद इस बात का महत्व समझ में आता है जिसे परमेश्वर ने हजारों वर्ष पूर्व बता दिया था।

    परमेश्वर ने रोगों के इलाज के लिए वनस्पति में भी प्रावधान रखे, और मनुष्यों को उसके विषय बताया (यशायाह 38:21; यहेजकेल 47:12; प्रकाशितवाक्य 22:2): “यशायाह ने कहा था, अंजीरों की एक टिकिया बना कर हिजकिय्याह के फोड़े पर बान्‍धी जाए, तब वह बचेगा” (यशायाह 38:21); “और नदी के दोनों तीरों पर भांति भांति के खाने योग्य फलदाई वृक्ष उपजेंगे, जिनके पत्ते न मुरझाएंगे और उनका फलना भी कभी बन्द न होगा, क्योंकि नदी का जल पवित्र स्थान से निकला है। उन में महीने महीने, नये नये फल लगेंगे। उनके फल तो खाने के, ओर पत्ते औषधि के काम आएंगे” (यहेजकेल 47:12)। इसी प्रकार से जैतून का तेल और दाखरस भी घावों के इलाज में प्रयोग किया जाता था (लूका 10:34)। जैतून का तेल स्वस्थ होता है, और दाखरस में विद्यमान इथाइल अल्कोहल कीटाणुओं को मारता है।

    परमेश्वर ने 3000 वर्ष पूर्व राजा सुलैमान द्वारा लिखे नीतिवचनों में लिखवा दिया था कि “मन का आनन्द अच्छी औषधि है, परन्तु मन के टूटने से हड्डियां सूख जाती हैं” (नीतिवचन 17:22); तथा “मन आनन्दित होने से मुख पर भी प्रसन्नता छा जाती है, परन्तु मन के दु:ख से आत्मा निराश होती है” (नीतिवचन 15:13)। परमेश्वर के वचन में 3000 वर्ष पहले लिखे गए इस तथ्य को चिकित्सा विज्ञान आज समझ और मान रहा है; वर्तमान समय की लोगों को सर्वाधिक ग्रसित करने वाली घातक बीमारियाँ, जैसे बढ़ा हुआ ब्लडप्रेशर, हृदय रोग, डायबटीस, निराशा या डिप्रेशन, आदि अशांत और अस्वस्थ मन के कारण ही शरीर पर प्रभाव डालते हैं; और इनके इलाज के लिए मन के प्रसन्न और संतुष्ट होने से बहुत सहायता मिलती है।

    जिस परमेश्वर ने हमारे नश्वर शरीरों को, जो एक न एक दिन मर ही जाएंगे, स्वस्थ रखने के लिए इतने प्रावधान किए, निर्देश दिए, उसी ने हमारी कभी न मरने वाली आत्मा को सबसे विनाशकारी और अनन्तकाल के लिए परेशानी उत्पन्न करने वाले पाप के रोग से भी बचाव और स्वस्थ रहने का उपाय दिया है। परमेश्वर ने कहा, “यदि हम अपने पापों को मान लें, तो वह हमारे पापों को क्षमा करने, और हमें सब अधर्म से शुद्ध करने में विश्वासयोग्य और धर्मी है” (1 यूहन्ना 1:9)। वह हमसे केवल इतना चाहता है कि हम अपने पाप मान लें और उन पापों से उसके सम्मुख सच्चे मन से पश्चाताप कर लें। उसके आगे हमें उन पापों से शुद्ध करने और हमें परमेश्वर की दृष्टि और मापदंड के अनुसार धर्मी बनाने की ज़िम्मेदारी और कार्य उसका है। स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से की गई केवल एक प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु, मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ कि मैंने मन, ध्यान, विचार, और व्यवहार में पाप किया है, और आपने मेरे पापों के निवारण के लिए क्रूस पर अपने आप को बलिदान किया और फिर जीवित हो गए। कृपया मेरे पाप क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना आज्ञाकारी, समर्पित जन बना लें। मेरे जीवन को अपनी इच्छानुसार परिवर्तित कर दें” - आपको पाप के रोग से मुक्त और स्वस्थ कर के परमेश्वर के राज्य में अनन्तकाल के लिए प्रवेश प्रदान कर देगी। चाहे अविश्वसनीय लगे, किन्तु करके देखिए - सच्चे, समर्पित, आज्ञाकारी, मन से, शांत होकर अपने ही अंदर यह प्रार्थना करने से आपका कुछ नहीं बिगड़ेगा, कोई हानि नहीं होगी; यदि कुछ हुआ तो आपका भला ही होगा - पाप से मुक्ति, उद्धार और आशीषों से भरपूर अनन्त जीवन मिलेगा; फिर क्यों डरना? विश्वास के साथ कदम बढ़ाइए, भला ही मिलेगा, कोई हानि नहीं।

    Carrying on from where we left off in the last article on aspects of human health written in God’s Word the Bible, we will see some more examples of preventive health today. God has not only made provisions in the creation of man's body to keep him healthy, but has also written many such measures in His Word, the Bible, by which man can remain healthy, if he follows them. God gave these instructions to mankind thousands of years ago; but medical science is recognizing their importance and utility now, and is asking people to do these things as “preventive medicine”. Some of these health instructions given by God in the Bible are:

About 3500 years ago, God told His people to go out of the area of their camp to defecate, and also to carry an implement to cover the excretion. “Also you shall have a place outside the camp, where you may go out; and you shall have an implement among your equipment, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and turn and cover your refuse" (Deuteronomy 23:12-13). We know today that many diseases are caused by consuming fecal contaminated water or food material, or by coming in contact with soil contaminated with feces and sewage. Preventing contamination of water and soil with feces and sewage is the primary and most important part of disease prevention plans. It is said that by the time of the First World War, not as many soldiers had died from war as from diseases spread in the cantonments, because they did not follow this principle of cleanliness.

God has told in His Word that sexual relations are proper and acceptable only between husband and wife. Adultery, having sex with multiple partners, homosexual relations, etc. all cause diseases and problems in the body (Romans 1:27; 1 Corinthians 6:18). Today, there is a whole category of various diseases, known as “Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s)” in medical science, that spread and cause devastating consequences because of violation of this God given principle.

God gave his people a list of clean and unclean animals, and had forbidden them to eat unclean animals (Leviticus 11; and Deuteronomy 14), about 3000 years ago. Among the animals that were forbidden for food was swine, and some other animals, "Also the swine is unclean for you, because it has cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud; you shall not eat their flesh or touch their dead carcasses” (Deuteronomy 14:8), and the water animals living at the bottom of water bodies, the ‘bottom-feeders’ and those without scales and fins: “These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers--that you may eat. But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you. They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination. Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales--that shall be an abomination to you” (Leviticus 11:9-12). These animals are often eaters of unhealthy materials lying on the bottom, due to which there is a risk of diseases entering humans. At that time, when medical science was not advanced and medicines were very few, this was a method of avoiding contracting diseases from animals living in and feeding upon refuse and filth.

The Lord has instructed that only clean water should be used for drinking, and that food or water from a vessel contaminated with any dead animal should not be used "Any earthen vessel into which any of them falls you shall break; and whatever is in it shall be unclean: in such a vessel, any edible food upon which water falls becomes unclean, and any drink that may be drunk from it becomes unclean. And everything on which a part of any such carcass falls shall be unclean; whether it is an oven or cooking stove, it shall be broken down; for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you. Nevertheless a spring or a cistern, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean, but whatever touches any such carcass becomes unclean” (Leviticus 11:33-36). At present, medical science has understood the importance of this, after knowing about the germs that cause disease in humans; something which was said by God thousands of years ago.

God also made provisions in plants for the treatment of diseases, and told men about it (Isaiah 38:21; Ezekiel 47:12; Revelation 22:2): “Isaiah said, Hezekiah had made a cake of figs and is tied to the boil, then it will survive” (Isaiah 38:21); “Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine” (Ezekiel 47:12). Similarly olive oil and wine were also used to treat wounds (Luke 10:34). Olive oil is healthy for man, and the ethyl alcohol present in the wine kills germs.

God had it written in Proverbs 3000 years ago by King Solomon that "A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones" (Proverbs 17:22); And "A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken" (Proverbs 15:13). Medical science today is understanding and accepting this fact, written in the Word of God 3000 years ago; The most common and troublesome diseases that afflict the people of the present day, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, despair or depression, etc., affect the body only due to a disturbed and unhealthy mind; And for their treatment, being happy and satisfied in the mind is essential.

The God who has made so many provisions and instructions for the health and safekeeping of our mortal bodies, which eventually will die one day or the other, has also made provision for the healing and safe-keeping of our immortal soul from the most devastating and eternally troublesome disease of sin. God said, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). All He wants is that we voluntarily confess our sins and repent of them with a sincere heart before Him. After we do this, the responsibility and work of cleansing us from those sins and making us righteous as per God's standards and in God’s eyes, is God’s responsibility and work. Through only one prayer, offered voluntarily and with a sincere heart, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned in mind, heart, thought, and behavior, and You have sacrificed Yourselves on the Cross for the remission of my sins, died for them and then became alive for my salvation. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your obedient, committed follower. Change my life into what you wish it to be'' - you can be made free from the disease of sin and healed. And you will be granted entry into the kingdom of God for eternity. Though it may seem unbelievable, but try it with a calm mind, there is no harm in trying it - praying this prayer even quietly, within yourself, but being sincere and committed about it, with a willingness to be obedient to the Lord, will be a life-changing experience for you; you will not come to any harm; anything that happens, it will only be for your good - for your freedom from sin, for salvation and eternal life full of blessings; Then why be afraid? Do it with faith, you will come only to something good, not any harm.

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि बाइबल और विज्ञान में विरोधाभास, उन लोगों के द्वारा बनाई औ फैलाई गई एक कृत्रिम और काल्पनिक बात है, जो किसी भी तरह से परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकारना चाहते हैं। इस सन्दर्भ में हमने देखा था कि प्रत्येक रचना अपने रचनाकर के होने और उसकी बुद्धि, समझ, ज्ञान, तथा योग्यताओं की गवाही देती है। और यह भी कि किसी वस्तु की रचना और कार्य विधि को जान और समझ लेना न तो यह दिखाता है, और न ही प्रमाणित करता है कि वह स्वतः ही अस्तित्व में आ गई; उसका कोई बनाने वाला नहीं था। विज्ञान केवल एक साधन, एक तरीका है जो परमेश्वर की सृष्टि की रचना और कार्य-विधि को हमें दिखाता और समझाता रहता है; और यह करने के साथ परिवर्तित एवं उन्नत होता चला जाता है; न कि परमेश्वर का इनकार करता है। मनुष्य परमेश्वर की सर्वोच्च एवं सर्वोत्तम रचना है, और मनुष्य की रचना के विषय जिन बातों को विज्ञान ने वर्तमान में जानना आरंभ किया है, वे परमेश्वर ने अपने वचन बाइबल में हजारों वर्ष पहले से लिखवा रखी हैं। आज हम मनुष्य के स्वास्थ्य से संबंधित कुछ बातों को देखेंगे, जिन्हें विज्ञान और चिकित्सा-शास्त्र ने वर्तमान में जानना और मानना आरंभ किया है, किन्तु बाइबल की पुस्तकों में उनके बारे में परमेश्वर ने हजारों वर्ष पहले लिखवा दिया था।

लगभग 1.5 से 2 सदी पहले चिकित्सा की एक विधि थी बीमार व्यक्ति के शरीर में से “गंदा रक्त” निकाला जाता था, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप बहुत से लोग मर गए, जिनमें से एक अमेरिका के सुप्रसिद्ध राष्ट्रपति जॉर्ज वाशिंगटन भी थे, जिनके इलाज के लिए यह पद्धति अपनाई गई थी। विज्ञान को यह वर्तमान में पता चला है कि शरीर में रक्त से ही जीवन है। रक्त ही सारे शरीर में ऑक्सीजन तथा पोशाक तत्वों को पहुंचाता है, बीमारियों से लड़ने वाली और संक्रमण को रोकने और मारने वाली कोशिकाओं का स्त्रोत है, तथा रक्त का शरीर में उपयुक्त मात्रा और गुणवत्ता में होना स्वस्थ और जीवित रहने के लिये कितना आवश्यक है। किन्तु परमेश्वर ने अपने वचन बाइबल में यह आज से लगभग 3400 वर्ष पूर्व ही लिखवा दिया था कि रक्त से ही जीवन है, “क्योंकि शरीर का प्राण लहू में रहता है; और उसको मैं ने तुम लोगों को वेदी पर चढ़ाने के लिये दिया है, कि तुम्हारे प्राणों के लिये प्रायश्चित्त किया जाए; क्योंकि प्राण के कारण लहू ही से प्रायश्चित्त होता है।” “क्योंकि शरीर का प्राण जो है वह उसका लहू ही है जो उसके प्राण के साथ एक है; इसी लिये मैं इस्राएलियों से कहता हूं, कि किसी प्रकार के प्राणी के लहू को तुम न खाना, क्योंकि सब प्राणियों का प्राण उनका लहू ही है; जो कोई उसको खाए वह नाश किया जाएगा” (लैव्यव्यवस्था 17:11, 14)। 

परमेश्वर ने अपने चुने हुए लोगों, अब्राहम के वंशजों - यहूदियों के लिए खतने की विधि ठहराई थी, “और आठवें दिन लड़के का खतना किया जाए” (लैव्यव्यवस्था 12:3; साथ ही देखें उत्पत्ति 17:12; लूका 1:59)। यह आज से लगभग 4000 वर्ष पूर्व की बात है। विज्ञान की वर्तमान खोजों से पहले यह कोई नहीं जानता था कि रक्त को बहने से रोकने और रक्त का थक्का जमाने के लिए रक्त में जिस रासायनिक पदार्थ, प्रोथ्रोमबिन की आवश्यकता होती है, वह शिशु के जन्म के आठवें दिन सबसे अधिक मात्रा में रक्त में विद्यमान होता है, और फिर उसके बाद रक्त में उसकी मात्रा कम होकर, उस से कम, अपने ‘सामान्य’ स्तर पर आ जाती है। यह तथ्य चिकित्सा विज्ञान को वर्तमान में पता चला है। किन्तु परमेश्वर जो मनुष्य का रचयिता है, उसने अपनी निर्धारित रचना के अनुसार पहले ही कह दिया था कि खतना आठवें दिन हो, जिससे शिशु का रक्त बहना तुरंत ही रुक सके, कोई हानि न हो।

चिकित्सा-विज्ञान संक्रमण को फैलने से रोकने के लिए रोगी को अन्य सभी से अलग रखने की जिस पद्धति पर आज जोर दे रहा है, रोगी से दूरी बनाए रखने की बात कर रहा है, बार-बार निरीक्षण करके यह सुनिश्चित करने की बात कर रहा है कि संक्रमण समाप्त हो गया तथा रोगी निरोग हो गया है, वह बाइबल में लगभग 3400 वर्ष पहले ही लिख दिया गया था कि संभावित संक्रमण वाले व्यक्ति को भी अन्य लोगों से पृथक रखा जाए “फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, इस्राएलियों को आज्ञा दे, कि वे सब कोढिय़ों को, और जितनों के प्रमेह हो, और जितने लोथ के कारण अशुद्ध हों, उन सभों को छावनी से निकाल दें; ऐसों को चाहे पुरुष हों चाहे स्त्री छावनी से निकाल कर बाहर कर दें; कहीं ऐसा न हो कि तुम्हारी छावनी, जिसके बीच मैं निवास करता हूं, उनके कारण अशुद्ध हो जाए। और इस्राएलियों ने वैसा ही किया, अर्थात ऐसे लोगों को छावनी से निकाल कर बाहर कर दिया; जैसा यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा था इस्राएलियों ने वैसा ही किया” (गिनती 5:1-5; साथ ही लैव्यव्यवस्था 13:45-46 भी देखें)।

    अगले लेख में हम इसी विषय को ज़ारी रखते हुए, भाग - 2  में, मनुष्य के स्वास्थ्य से सम्बन्धित बाइबल में लिखी बातों कुछ और बातों को देखेंगे। जो परमेश्वर मुझे और आपको शारीरिक रीति से स्वस्थ रखना चाहता है, और इसके लिए जिसने पहले से ही अपने वचन में विधि और निर्देश दे रखे हैं, वही प्रेमी स्वर्गीय परमेश्वर पिता आपके आत्मिक स्वास्थ्य की भी चिंता करता है, और आपको आत्मिक रीति से स्वस्थ देखना चाहता है। संसार के हर व्यक्ति के अंदर पाप का रोग है - व्यक्ति चाहे माने या न माने, स्वीकार करे या न करे; इसका एहसास करे अथवा न करे। हर व्यक्ति मन, विचार, व्यवहार से किसी न किसी रूप में परमेश्वर की आज्ञाओं का उल्लंघन करता है, और परमेश्वर की आज्ञा का उल्लंघन ही पाप है। यह पाप का रोग सभी को परमेश्वर से दूर रखता है (यशायाह 59:2), इस लोक में भी और परलोक में भी। किन्तु जो इस लोक में परमेश्वर के सामने अपने पापों को मान लेता है, परमेश्वर से उनके लिए क्षमा माँग लेता है, वह इस पाप के संक्रमण से मुक्त हो जाता है, वापस परमेश्वर के साथ संगति में बहाल हो जाता है; इस लोक में भी और परलोक में भी।

परमेश्वर प्रभु यीशु से, सच्चे मन, स्वेच्छा, और पाप के बोध के साथ की गई एक छोटी समर्पण की प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझ पापी को ग्रहण करें, और मुझे अपने प्रति समर्पित तथा आज्ञाकारी व्यक्ति बनाएँ” आपको पाप के रोग से हमेशा के लिए मुक्ति दिला देगा - जो कोई भी, कैसा भी धर्म-कर्म, विधि-विधान-अनुष्ठान कभी नहीं कर सकते हैं।

आज प्रभु परमेश्वर आपको पाप के रोग से स्वस्थ होने का निमंत्रण दे रहा है; समय और अवसर रहते उसके इस निमंत्रण को स्वीकार कर लीजिए, और अनन्तकाल के लिए इस घातक रोग से स्वस्थ एवं निरोग हो जाइए।

Bible and Man’s Health - 1

In the previous article, we saw that the apparent contradiction between the Bible and man is artificial, and contrived, created and spread by those who want to deny the existence of God, in any which way they can. In this context we had seen that every created thing only testifies in favor of the existence of its creator and his wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and abilities. We had also seen that knowing about the components and functioning of a thing does not show or prove that it just came about on its own, was not created. Science is only a tool, a method that continually keeps showing and explaining about God’s creation; and while doing this, it keeps changing and developing; it does not deny the existence of God. Man is the best and highest of God's masterpieces, and that the things that science has learnt about the creation of man of late, God had them written in His Word, the Bible, thousands of years ago. Today we will look at some things related to human health, which science and medicine have learnt in the recent past and come to believe, but they were written by God thousands of years ago in the books of the Bible.

About 1.5 to 2 centuries ago, a method of therapy was the removal of "bad blood" from a sick person's body, which resulted in the death of many people, including one of the well-known US President George Washington, for whom this method had been adopted and used for treatment. Science has now come to know that life in the body is there only through the blood. Blood carries oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, is the source of cells that fight disease and prevent and kill infections, and it is very important to have the right quantity and quality of blood in the body to stay healthy and alive. But God had it written in His Word, the Bible, about 3400 years ago, that life is in the blood, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” “For it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, 'You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.'” (Leviticus 17:11, 14).

God had ordained circumcision for his chosen people, the descendants of Abraham's — the Jews, to be done on the eighth day of birth, "And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised" (Leviticus 12:3; see also Genesis 17:12; Luke 1:59). This was said about 4000 years ago from today. Before current scientific discoveries, no one knew that the chemical substance in the blood, Prothrombin, which is essential to stop the blood from continuing to flow, and for forming the blood clot, was present in the blood at its peak value in a person’s lifetime on the eighth day after birth, and then after that its amount in the blood decreases to its ‘normal’ value. Medical science has come to know of this fact now. But God, who is the Creator of man, according to His design, had already said that circumcision should be done on the eighth day, so that the bleeding can stop immediately, and there is no harm.

The method that medical science emphasizes upon today to prevent the spread of infection - isolation, i.e., to keep the patient separated from everyone else; that all infected persons and even a person with a suspected infection should be kept separate from all the other people, for healthy people to keep a distance from the sick person, to check by frequent monitoring whether or not the infection is gone and the patient is cured; All of this was written in the Bible about 3400 years ago: “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: "Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled by a corpse. You shall put out both male and female; you shall put them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell." And the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp; as the Lord spoke to Moses, so the children of Israel did" (Numbers 5:1-4; also see Leviticus 13:45-46).

In the next article we will continue with this topic, and in its Part - 2 see some more things written in the Bible about man’s health. The very God who wants to keep me and you physically healthy, and who for this has already given the laws and instructions in His Word about it, the same loving God the Heavenly Father also cares about your spiritual health, and wants to see you spiritually healthy. There is a disease of sin, present in every person in the world - whether the person believes and accepts this or not; realizes it or not. Every person violates God's commandments in one way or the other in mind, thought, behavior; and sin is disobeying God's command. This disease of sin keeps everyone away from God (Isaiah 59:2), both in this world and in the next. But the one who in this world confesses his sins to God, asks God for forgiveness for them, he is freed from the condemnation of his sin, is restored back to fellowship with God (1 John 1:9); and is saved in this world as well as in the next.

A short prayer of surrender to the Lord Jesus, made with a sincere heart, voluntarily, and in realization of the state of being in sin, in words like “Lord Jesus forgive my sins, accept me as a sinner, and make me a committed and obedient person to Yourself” Will give you eternal healing and freedom from the disease of sin - which no religion, no ‘good’ deeds, no fulfilling of any or all rites and rituals, religious traditions, etc. can ever do.

Today the Lord God is inviting you to be healed and recover from the disease of sin; Accept this invitation while you have time and opportunity, and be healthy and free from this deadly disease for eternity.

मनुष्य की रचना

पिछले कुछ लेखों से हम देखते आ रहे हैं कि यद्यपि परमेश्वर का वचन बाइबल, कोई विज्ञान की पुस्तक नहीं है, बल्कि आज से हजारों वर्ष पहले, साधारण और सामामान्यतः अशिक्षित लोगों तक, उन्हे समझ आ सकने वाली सरल भाषा में लिखा गया परमेश्वर के संदेशों सँकलन है, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने बाइबल में हर प्रकार की जानकारी लिखवाई है। हमने यह भी देखा है कि बाइबल और विज्ञान में कोई टकराव, कोई विरोधाभास नहीं है; और होना सम्भव भी नहीं है। ऐसा इसलिये क्योंकि यह एक सामान्य ज्ञान का साधारण सा तथ्य है कि हर रची हुई व्यस्त, हमेशा अपने रचीयता की पुष्टि ही करती है, उसी के पक्ष में गवाही देती है, कभी उसके विरुद्ध नहीं। और ऐसा ही एक और साधारण सामान्य ज्ञान की बात है कि किसी रचना के बारे में जान लेना, उसकी कार्य-विधि को समझ लेना, यह प्रमाणित नहीं करता है कि उसका कोई रचीयता था ही नहीं, वह स्वतः ही अस्तित्व में आ गई; बल्कि उसके रचीयता की बुद्धि, समझ, ज्ञान, और रचनात्मकता आदि बातों को ही दिखाता है। इसी प्रकार से विज्ञान केवल एक माध्यम है, एक साधन है जो हमें परमेश्वर की सृष्टि की बातों को दिखाता और समझाता है; और जितना जैसे-जैसे उसकी समझ बढ़ती जाती है, वह बदलता रहता है, उन्नत होता जाता है, सदा गतिशील रहता है, किन्तु सिद्ध, सम्पूर्ण, और अपरिवर्तनीय नहीं है। उपरोक्त तर्कों को यदि हम बाइबल और विज्ञान के संदर्भ में देखें, तो विज्ञान सृष्टि का सृष्टिकर्ता होने की पुष्टि करता है, उस सिद्ध, सम्पूर्ण, और अपरिवर्तनीय सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर की अगम्य बुद्धि, ज्ञान, समझ, और रचनात्मकता को दिखाता है। दूसरे शब्दों में, विज्ञान एक सिद्ध, सम्पूर्ण, अपरिवर्तनीय सृष्टिकर्ता और उसकी अगम्य बुद्धि, ज्ञान, समझ, और रचनात्मकता की ओर संकेत करता है। इसका यह अर्थ भी है कि असिद्ध, सदा परिवर्तनीय, सदा विकसित होते रहने वाला विज्ञान, कभी भी सिद्ध, अपरिवर्तनीय, सम्पूर्ण सृष्टिकर्ता के बारे में कोई निर्णय देने का आधार नहीं हो सकता है। और इन बातों की पुष्टि हम बाइबल में लिखी सृष्टि, अंतरिक्ष, पृथ्वी से संबंधित बातों के द्वारा देख चुके हैं। इसलिये, यह आम धारणा बिल्कुल गलत और निराधार है कि विज्ञान ने बाइबल को अप्रमाणित कर दिया है, मिथ्या दिखा दिया है, और बाइबल तथा विज्ञान परस्पर विरोधी हैं - यह किसी भी तरह से परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकारने वालों के द्वारा फैलाया गया झूठ है।

बाइबल की प्रथम पुस्तक, उत्पत्ति का पहला अध्याय, परमेश्वर के द्वारा समस्त सृष्टि की रचना किए जाने का वृतांत है। उत्पत्ति के आरंभिक अध्यायों से हम देखते हैं कि मनुष्य परमेश्वर की सबसे उत्कृष्ट रचना है। अन्य सभी की सृष्टि परमेश्वर ने कहने के द्वारा, अपने शब्द या वचन की सामर्थ्य से की - परमेश्वर ने कहा और वह वैसा ही हो गया। किन्तु मनुष्य को परमेश्वर ने अपने हाथों से, अपने ही स्वरूप में सृजा; उसमें जीवन डालने के लिए परमेश्वर ने अपनी ही श्वास डाली, और उसके लिए ही अदन की वाटिका लगाई, जहाँ परमेश्वर उस के साथ संगति करता था, और फिर अपने ही हाथों से पहले मनुष्य आदम के लिए एक सहायक बनाया (उत्पत्ति 1:26-28; 2:8, 15, 18; 3:8)। परमेश्वर ने पृथक मनुष्य की नर और मादा स्वरूप में सृष्टि की, और उन्हें आशीष देकर कहा कि वे सारी पृथ्वी में फैल जाएं, उसे अपनी अधीनता में ले लें। आज हम बाइबल में लिखी मनुष्य की रचना से सम्बन्धित कुछ बातों को देखेंगे। 

क्रमिक विकासवाद (Evolution) के पास इसका कोई उत्तर नहीं है कि क्यों और कैसे विभिन्न जीव-जन्तुओं और वनस्पतियों आदि में प्रजनन और जाति को बढ़ाने के विभिन्न तरीके आए। जन्तुओं और वनस्पतियों की विभिन्न प्रजातियों में ऐसे कितने ही उदाहरण हैं जिनमें नर और मादा का भेद नहीं है; वे अपने एक ही स्वरूप से अपने समान अगली पीढ़ी उत्पन्न करते हैं। कई पौधों की प्रजातियों में एक ही पौधे में नर और मादा फूल अलग-अलग होते हैं - एक ही डाली या एक ही पौधे में दोनों प्रकार के फूल, तथा अन्य प्रजातियों में एक ही फूल में दोनों नर और मादा अंश, और उनके बीज से फिर एक नया पौधा उत्पन्न हो जाता है। यदि प्रजाति का ज़ारी रहना बिना नर-मादा के भिन्न होने से संभव है, और हो रहा है, तो फिर यह नर और मादा स्वरूप क्यों और कैसे विकसित हुए? यदि धीरे-धीरे, विभिन्न चरणों में होकर यह ‘विकास’ होना सम्भव था, तो फिर एक से दूसरे लिंग में क्रमिक परिवर्तन या ‘विकास’ के दौरान, इन अधूरे या अपूर्ण लिंग वाली जीव-प्रजातियाँ किस प्रकार से अपनी अगली पीढ़ी को उत्पन्न करते रहे; क्योंकि आज हम जिन अधूरे विकसित लिंग वाले जीवों और मनुष्यों को देखते हैं, उनमें प्रजनन की क्षमता नहीं होती है? यदि अधूरे विकसित लिंग वाली पीढ़ी, अगली को जन्म नहीं दे सकती थी, तो क्या उस जीव-प्रजाति का अन्त नहीं हो जाता? यदि वे अपूर्ण विकसित लिंग वाले जीव, उस अपूर्णता में भी अपनी प्रजाति को उत्पन्न कर सकते थे, तो फिर आज के अपूर्ण विकसित लिंग वाले जीव प्रजनन क्यों नहीं कर सकते हैं - क्रमिक विकासवाद के पास इसका कोई उत्तर नहीं है। किन्तु उपरोक्त बाइबल के हवाले स्पष्ट बताते हैं कि परमेश्वर ने आरंभ से ही मनुष्य को नर और मादा की भिन्नता के साथ, अलग-अलग दायित्वों के निर्वाह के लिए उत्पन्न किया (देखिए उत्पत्ति 2:24; मरकुस 10:6-8)।

    विज्ञान ने मनुष्य के शरीर की रचना और कार्य विधि की जटिलता और उसके अद्भुत होने को अपने नए उपकरणों के द्वारा पहचानना आरंभ किया है; किन्तु परमेश्वर ने अपने भक्त राजा दाऊद, जिसका जन्म 1085 ईस्वी पूर्व में हुआ था, के द्वारा लिखे गए एक भजन में इस तथ्य को आज से लगभग 2800 से भी अधिक वर्ष पूर्व लिखवा दिया था, “मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा, इसलिये कि मैं भयानक और अद्भुत रीति से रचा गया हूं। तेरे काम तो आश्चर्य के हैं, और मैं इसे भली भांति जानता हूं” (भजन 139:14 )। 

इसी प्रकार मनुष्य के जीवन और स्वास्थ्य के बारे में भी बहुत सी बातें हैं, जिन्हें विज्ञान ने अब पहचाना और माना है, किन्तु परमेश्वर ने अपने वचन बाइबल की पुस्तकों में उन्हें हजारों वर्षों से लिखवा रखा है। मनुष्य और मनुष्य के जीवन से संबंधित तथ्यों के कुछ उदाहरण देखते हैं:

आज से लगभग 2000 वर्ष पूर्व, पौलुस प्रेरित ने अपने एक सुसमाचार प्रचार में कहा था, “उसने एक ही मूल से मनुष्यों की सब जातियां सारी पृथ्वी पर रहने के लिये बनाईं हैं; और उन के ठहराए हुए समय, और निवास के सिवानों को इसलिये बान्‍धा है” (प्रेरितों 17:26); और उत्पत्ति की पुस्तक जो आज से लगभग 3400 वर्ष पूर्व लिखी गई, उसके 5 अध्याय में आदम और हव्वा से उत्पन्न होने वाली संतानों के नाम और उनकी संक्षिप्त वंशावली दी गई है - अर्थात सारी मानवजाति उस एक ही मूल, आदि पुरुष, आदम की संतान हैं। वैज्ञानिकों ने जब मनुष्य के डीएनए के अध्ययन किए, तो उन्हें मनुष्य की रचना और इतिहास के बारे में कई अद्भुत बातें पता चलीं। 1995 में 38 विभिन्न जातियों के वंशों के डीएनए के अध्ययन के द्वारा यह सामने आया कि चाहे वे आज विभिन्न और पृथक जातियाँ हैं, किन्तु मूल में वे सभी एक ही मूल पुरुष से निकल कर आए हैं! यह बात बाइबल में हजारों वर्ष पहले लिखी गई बात के पूर्णतः अनुरूप है।

वैज्ञानिकों में असमंजस है कि गर्भ-धारण होने से कितने समय बाद भ्रूण को जीवित कहा जा सकता है। किन्तु बाइबल बताती है कि भ्रूण के गर्भ में आने के समय, उसके आरंभ से ही वह एक जीवित प्राणी है, जिसके विषय परमेश्वर ने योजना बना रखी है, उद्देश्य निर्धारित किया हुआ है, जैसा परमेश्वर ने यिर्मयाह नबी से कहा: “गर्भ में रचने से पहिले ही मैं ने तुझ पर चित्त लगाया, और उत्पन्न होने से पहिले ही मैं ने तुझे अभिषेक किया; मैं ने तुझे जातियों का भविष्यद्वक्ता ठहराया” (यिर्मयाह 1:5); अर्थात परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में वह आरंभ से ही एक जीवित व्यक्ति है, जो कुछ समय के बाद मनुष्य के स्वरूप में दिखने लगेगा, जन्म लेगा, और फिर बड़ा होकर परमेश्वर के उद्देश्यों को पूरा करेगा। आज विज्ञान भी यह जानता और मानता है कि उस भ्रूण के गर्भ में स्थापित होने के समय, जब वह एक कोशिका (cell) ही होता है, तब भी उस एक कोशिका में वही जीवन होता है जो उसके गर्भ से बाहर जन्म लेने के समय होता है, और उस एक कोशिका में विद्यमान डीएनए में वह संपूर्ण जानकारी विद्यमान होती है जिसके द्वारा वह भ्रूण एक कोशिका से बढ़कर मनुष्य रूप में जन्म लेता, और बढ़ता है, कार्य करता है।

अगले लेख में हम मनुष्य के स्वास्थ्य से सम्बन्धित बाइबल में लिखी कुछ बातों को देखेंगे। परन्तु अभी, इस पर कुछ गम्भीरता से विचार कीजिये: जिस परमेश्वर ने आपको और मुझे अपने स्वरूप में, अद्भुत रीति से रचा है, अपनी श्वास से हमें जीवन दिया है, जो आज दिन तक हमारी देखभाल करता आ रहा है, और हमें अपनी पृथ्वी और प्रकृति के संसाधानों का प्रयोग खुले दिल से करने दे रहा है, वह हम में से प्रत्येक को, हमारे मनों की भावनाओं और विचारों को, हमारी भीतरी-बाहरी वास्तविक दशा को, हमारे मन, विचार, शरीर में किए गए हर पाप को जानता है। चाहे हम उसे स्वीकार करें या न करें; उसके आज्ञाकारी बनें अथवा न बनें; वह हम से बहुत प्रेम भी रखता है, हमारी चिंता भी करता है। वह चाहता है कि उसका रचा हुआ प्रत्येक जन, वह चाहे जिस भी दशा में है, वैसा ही उसके पास आ जाए, उस से मेल-मिलाप कर ले, जिससे परमेश्वर उसे पापों से स्वच्छ और शुद्ध करे, तथा शैतान द्वारा बहकाए जाकर अनन्त-विनाश में डाल देने से बचा सके। उसने इस मेल-मिलाप का मार्ग प्रभु यीशु मसीह में होकर तैयार किया और उपलब्ध करवाया है। वह अपेक्षा रखता है कि हम उसकी सृष्टि और अपनी रचना द्वारा उसके अस्तित्व को पहचानें और स्वेच्छा से समय रहते उसके पास आ जाएं, उसे समर्पित और उसकी आज्ञाकारिता का जीवन व्यतीत करें, और उसकी आशीषों की भरपूरी का आनन्द प्राप्त करें। सच्चे मन और स्वेच्छा से की गई आपकी एक छोटी सी प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ कि मैं पापी हूँ, और आपने मेरे पापों के लिए क्रूस पर अपना बलिदान दिया है। कृपया मेरे पाप क्षमा करें, मुझे स्वीकार करें, अपनी शरण में लेकर मुझे अपना आज्ञाकारी जन बनाएं” आपको अनन्त विनाश से अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों में लाकर खड़ा कर देगी। क्या आप आज, अभी यह निर्णय लेंगे? आपको अद्भुत रीति से रचने वाला आपका सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर उसके पक्ष में किए गए आपके निर्णय की लालसा रखे हुए प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है!

Bible and Creation of Man

    Over the past few articles we have been considering that although God’s Word the Bible is not a treatise on science, rather, it is a compilation of God’s messages written and given to simple, generally illiterate people, in a simple and straightforward manner so that they could easily understand it; and yet, God has had all kinds of information written in the Bible. We have also seen that there is no contradiction between the Bible and science, and they are not at loggerheads; and neither is this at all possible. This is because of a very simple, straightforward fact of general knowledge that every created thing always confirms the existence of its creator, testifies in only his favor, never against him. Another similar fact of general knowledge is that knowing the composition and working of a creation does not prove that it was not created, but came about by itself; rather it speaks of there being a creator and his wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and creativity. Similarly, science is a method, a tool that shows and helps us understand the things about God’s creation; as its understanding and  knowledge increases, it keeps on improving, developing, and changing; it is dynamic, not static; but it is not perfect, not complete, and not unchanging. On applying these to the Bible and science, we can see that science only points to there being a Creator for the creation. In other words, science testifies of the Perfect, Complete, Unchanging Creator, and His unfathomable wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and creativity. This also implies that the imperfect, everchanging, developing science can never be a standard to pass any judgment on the Perfect, Unchanging, Complete Creator. We have seen affirmation of these through the things related to the universe, space, and earth written in the Bible. Therefore, this popular concept that science has disproven the Bible, shown it to be a collection of myths, and that science and the Bible are contrary to each other, is totally baseless and false - it is a lie that has been spread by those who want to deny the existence of God in any which way they possibly can.

The first book of the Bible, the first chapter of Genesis, is the account of God's creation of the universe. From the opening chapters of Genesis, we see that man is God's greatest creation. All others were created by God by speaking, by the power of His Word - God said and it was so. But man was created by God with his own hands, in his own image. God breathed His own breath to put life into him, and God then set up the Garden of Eden for him, where God had fellowship with him, and then God, with His own hands, made a helper for the first man Adam (Genesis 1:26- 28; 2:8, 15, 18; 3:8). God created human beings in separate male and female forms, and blessed them, said to them to spread all over the earth, taking it under their control. Today we will see some things about man’s creation, written in the Bible.

Evolution does not have any answer as to how and why the different flora and fauna have come up with different methods of reproduction and propagation of their species. There are many examples in different species of animals and plants in which there is no distinction of male and female. They produce their next generation, just like themselves from the same form. Many plant species have separate male and female flowers in the same plant - on the same branch, or both types of flowers in the same plant; and in other species both male and female parts in the same flower, and then from their seeds a similar new plant is born. If the continuation of a species is possible, and is happening, a complete male-female separation, in both the animal and plant kingdoms, then why and how did these separate male and female forms ‘evolve’? If gradual staged development for this was possible, then how could there be intermediate genders as they ‘evolved’ from being unisexual or asexual to bi-sexual, and how could those intermediate genders have been functional; since the intermediate genders we know about today are unable to reproduce? Wouldn’t the species have come to an end if the ‘intermediate’ genders failed to reproduce and bring forth the next generation! - evolution has no answer.  But the above-mentioned Bible quotes clearly state that from the very beginning God created man, with the distinction of male and female genders, to fulfill different responsibilities (see Genesis 2:24; Mark 10:6-8); and He similarly created each living being the way they are.

Science, through its new tools, has now begun to recognize the complex and amazingly intricate working of the human body. But the Lord in a Psalm written by His follower King David, who was born in 1085 B.C. had this fact written about more than 2800 years ago, "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well" (Psalm 139:14).

Similarly, there are many things about man's life and health, which have only now been recognized and accepted by science, but God had them written in His Word, in the books of the Bible thousands of years ago. Let's see some examples of facts related to man and man's life:

About 2000 years ago, the apostle Paul said in one of his gospel messages: “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings" (Acts 17:26); And in the book of Genesis, which was written about 3400 years ago, in its first 5 chapters, are given the names of the children born of Adam and Eve and their brief genealogy - i.e., all of mankind has come from the same original man, the children of Adam. When scientists studied human DNA, they came to know many amazing things about the creation and history of man. In 1995, a study of the DNA of the descendants of 38 different races revealed that although they are different and distinct races today, they all originally descended from the same original male! This is completely in line with what was written in the Bible thousands of years ago.

Scientists are confused about how long after conception can the embryo be called alive or living? But the Bible says that since the time of conception, from the very beginning, the fetus is a living being, for which God has made plans, and set some purposes, as God said to Prophet Jeremiah: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5); i.e., in the eyes of God, from the beginning, he is a living being who after some time will appear in the form of man, will be born, and then grow up to fulfill the purposes of God. Today science also knows and believes that at the time of being implanted in the womb, that embryo, when it is only a single cell, even then there is the same life in that one cell as it is, at the time of its birth outside the womb; and the DNA present in that one cell contains all the information by which that embryo grows from a single cell to be born in the human form, and function accordingly.

In the next article we will see some things related to man’s health, written in the Bible. But for now, please give this a serious thought: The God who has wonderfully created you and me in His image, has given us life with His breath, has been caring for us to this day, and allows us to use the resources of our earth and nature with an open heart, He knows each one of us, the feelings and thoughts of our minds, our inner and outer real condition, every sin committed in our mind, thoughts, and body. Whether we accept Him or not; are obedient to him or not; He still loves us very much and cares for us. He wishes that every one of His creations, in whatever condition they are, should come to Him, and be reconciled to Him, so that God may cleanse and purify him of his sins, and save him from being seduced by Satan into eternal-destruction. He has prepared and provided the way of this reconciliation through the Lord Jesus Christ. He expects that we realize and recognize His existence through His created universe and ourselves, and voluntarily come to Him, while we have the time and opportunity, live a life of submission and obedience to Him, and enjoy the abundance of His blessings. A short sincere prayer from your heart, said voluntarily and willingly, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner, and You have sacrificed Yourself on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins, accept me, take me under your shelter and make me your obedient follower” will take you from eternal destruction to eternal life and heavenly blessings. Will you make this decision today, now? Your wonderful Creator God your Creator is eagerly awaiting your decision made in His favor!
