बाइबल और विज्ञान पर हमारी इस वर्तमान चर्चा की श्रृंखला में, अभी तक हमने देखा है कि उसके विरुद्धलगाए गए सभी आरोपों के बावजूद, किस प्रकार से परमेश्वर का वचन बाइबल सत्यापित, खरा, और अटल रहा है, यद्यपि सदियों से उसे गिराने के अथक प्रयास किये जाते रहे हैं। हमने देखा है कि जो लोग परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व और बाइबल की खराई को नकारना चाहते हैं, उन्होंने परमेश्वर और बाइबल के विरुद्ध यह मिथ्या धारणा गढ़ी है और फैला दी है कि विज्ञान ने परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकार दिया है और बाइबल के सत्य को झूठ प्रमाणित कर दिया है। हमने यह भी देखा है कि विज्ञान बाइबल के विरुद्ध नहीं है, और न ही विज्ञान के साधनों के द्वारा सृष्टि की रचना और कार्यविधि के बारे में ज्ञात हुई समझ और ज्ञान का यह अर्थ है कि इससे यह प्रमाणित होता है कि सृष्टि का कोई सृष्टिकर्ता नहीं था, ये सारी सृष्टि स्वतः ही अनायास ही अस्तित्व में आ गई हैं। पिछले दो लेखों में हमने “विश्व-व्यापी जल-प्रलय और जीवाश्मों” के बारे में देखा और समझा था कि बाइबल के बाहर भी नूह के समय की जल-प्रलय के पर्याप्त प्रमाण विद्यमान हैं, यदि कोई उन्हें निष्पक्ष होकर स्वीकार करे। 

आज हम क्रमिक विकास की धारणा के बारे में कुछ देखेंगे। क्रमिक विकासवाद (Evolution) के मानने वालों के सामने अनेकों ऐसे प्रश्न हैं जिनका उनके पास कोई उत्तर नहीं है; कुछ ऐसे प्रश्नों को हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं। एक बहुत मूलभूत प्रश्न हैं: यदि पृथ्वी पर जीवन कुछ परस्पर रासायनिक प्रतिक्रियाओं और भौतिक क्रियाओं (chemical reactions and physical processes) के कारण आरंभ हुआ था, और फिर वहाँ से विकसित होते-होते जीव-जन्तु और वनस्पति आज की वर्तमान उन्नत दशा में आ गये हैं, तो जीवन क्या है? वह, जिसे हम जीवन कहते हैं, वह जीवन इन रासायनिक और भौतिक क्रियाओं में कब, कैसे, और कहाँ से आया, और इन कियाओं का स्वचालित, स्वयं को बनाए रखने, स्वतः ही एक से दूसरे में जा सक्ने वाला अभिन्न, एवं नियन्त्रण करने वाला भाग कैसे बन गया? क्या यह जीवन भी विकसित होता चला गया, या जब से यह आरम्भ हुआ और इन रसायनिक क्रियाओं में उसका समावेश हुआ, तब से वह एक ही आरम्भिक स्वरूप में ही बना हुआ है? क्या, मनुष्यों, जीव-जन्तुओं, और वनस्पतियों का जीवन एक समान है? यदि नहीं, तो यह भिन्नता क्या है, और इन में यह भिन्नता कैसे आई?

आज तक मनुष्य ने, विभिन्न उत्पाद के बनाने के लिए, अनेकों अति विकसित, उन्नत, जटिल रासायनिक क्रियाएं संभव कर ली हैं; किन्तु इन सभी को बहुत ही नियंत्रित और योजनाबद्ध रीति से, और बहुत सूक्ष्म रीति से निरीक्षण में रखे जाने वाले वातावरण में चलाया और प्रयोग किया जाता है। किन्तु इनमें “जीवन” डालना तो बहुत दूर की बात है, इन में से किसी भी क्रिया को अपने आप में स्वचालित तथा स्वतः ही उन्नत (self-sustaining, self-improving) करते जाने वाला नहीं बना सका। इन सभी क्रियाओं पर नियंत्रण, निरीक्षण, सुधार करते रहना पड़ता है, अन्यथा ये कभी भी बिगड़ कर भारी नुकसान कर डालती हैं। जब तक ये क्रियाएं निरीक्षण में नियंत्रित रहती हैं, लाभदायक रहती हैं, किन्तु थोड़ी सी चूक, कुछ समय के निरीक्षण और नियंत्रण में अनदेखी, बहुत हानि कर देने की संभावना उत्पन्न कर देती है। स्वतः ही बेहतर कुछ भी नहीं होता है; यदि ऐसे ही छोड़ दिया जाए तो सब कुछ केवल बिगड़ता है, विनाश उत्पन्न करता है। 

ऐसा ही एक अन्य मूलभूत प्रश्न है कि, क्रमिक विकास तथा विज्ञान के अनुसार, अरबों वर्ष पहले पृथ्वी पर विद्यमान उच्च ताप, विभिन्न प्रकार के रासायनिक गैस और पदार्थ, तथा आकाशीय बिजली के कड़कने, आदि से कुछ ऐसे रासायनिक पदार्थ बन गए और फिर एक साथ आ गए, जिनके परस्पर क्रिया करने से फिर जीवित प्राणियों का उत्पन्न होना संभव हो पाया। कितनी विचित्र बात है, यदि आज उच्च ताप, या उस प्रकार के वातावरण में उत्पन्न हुए उन रासायनिक पदार्थों, उनके द्वारा उत्पन्न पर्यावरण और उनकी अम्लता या क्षारियता, उस प्रकार की आकाशीय बिजली के समान तीव्र बिजली के झटकों के संपर्क में यदि कोई भी प्राणी आता है, तो उसमें विद्यमान हर पदार्थ बिगड़ और बिखर जाता है, उसका जीवन समाप्त हो जाता है; किन्तु विज्ञान के नाम पर हमें सिखाया जाता है कि आज जो जीवन को नष्ट करते हैं, उन्हीं बातों ने जीवित प्राणियों को उत्पन्न करने वाले पदार्थों की रचना की - लेकिन आज वे ही पदार्थ उन्हीं क्रियाओं को झेल नहीं पाते हैं।

इन से संबंधित एक अन्य प्रश्न है, मृत्यु क्या है? क्यों और कैसे एक जीवित प्राणी “मृतक” दशा में आ जाता है? वर्तमान चिकित्सा-विज्ञान की यह एक बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि है कि मानव-अंगों का एक से दूसरे शरीर में - हाल ही में मारे हुए शरीर में से भी, प्रत्यारोपण किया जा सकता है, और उसके द्वारा दूसरे के शरीर को जीवित रखना संभव है। किन्तु विडंबना यह है कि जिस “मृतक” शरीर में से वे अंग लिए गए हैं, उसमें से ऐसा क्या निकल गया, कि ये अंग “जीवित” होते हुए भी, दूसरे शरीर में प्रत्यारोपण के बाद ठीक से कार्यकारी होते हुए भी, अपने मूल शरीर को “जीवित” नहीं रखने पाए? मृतक शरीर को कितनी भी ऑक्सीजन, पोषक तत्व, दवाइयाँ, मशीनी सहायता से हृदय गति और श्वास क्रिया को चालू रखा जाए, किन्तु वह मृतक ही रहता है; किन्तु उसी शरीर से निकाले हुए अंग, स्वयं भी जीवित रहते हैं तथा दूसरे के शरीर को भी जीवित रखते हैं!

विज्ञान जो भी कहे या स्वीकार-अस्वीकार करे, सामान्य ज्ञान और बाइबल का तथ्य यही है कि हमारे जीवन - हमारी आत्माओं का दाता परमात्मा है, जिसके सामने हम सभी को अपने जीवनों का हिसाब देने एक दिन खड़ा होना ही है (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। हम आत्मा, तथा क्रमिक विकास से सम्बन्धित कुछ और बातों को अगले लेख में देखेंगे। बाइबल सिखाती है कि परमेश्वर के द्वारा दिया आत्मा, उसी के पास जाकर पृथ्वी पर बिताए अपने जीवन के प्रतिफल प्राप्त करता है। जो आत्मा अपने पापों के साथ जाता है, क्योंकि उसने पृथ्वी के अपने समय में अपने पापों से अलग नहीं होने और उद्धारकर्ता प्रभु यीशु के साथ मेल-मिलाप नहीं करने का चुनाव किया था, इसलिये वह अपने किये हुए निर्णय के अनुसार परमेश्वर से अनन्तकाल की दूरी, अनन्त मृत्यु, या नरक की अनन्त पीड़ा में जाएगा। जो पृथ्वी पर रहते स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों को स्वीकार करके, उन के लिए पश्चाताप करके, अपने सृजनहार परमेश्वर से क्षमा मांगकर उद्धार पाएगा, वह परमेश्वर के साथ स्वर्ग में रहने जाएगा। स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से, पापों के लिए पश्चाताप के साथ, प्रभु यीशु से की गई एक छोटी प्रार्थना “हे प्रभु यीशु मेरे पाप क्षमा करें, मुझे स्वीकार करें और अपना शिष्य बनाकर अपनी शरण में लें, और पाप के दोष से स्वच्छ करके अपना समर्पित, आज्ञाकारी जन बना लें” आपके जीवन की नियति और दिशा अनन्तकाल के लिए बदल देगी। परमेश्वर के इस आह्वान, इस निमंत्रण को ऐसे ही जाने न दें; अभी अवसर है, इसका सदुपयोग कर लीजिए, अपना शेष जीवन तथा परलोक का अनन्तकाल का जीवन सुरक्षित और सुखी कर लीजिए।

Bible and BioSciences - 1 - Evolution and Life Part 1

In the previous articles on this Bible and Science series we have seen that God’s Word the Bible has stood verifiable, true, and irrefutable despite all attempts to disprove it down the centuries in various ways. We have seen how those who want to deny the existence of God and the truth of the Bible have created and spread this false concept that science has disproven the existence of God and discredited the truth of the Bible. We also saw that science is not against the Bible, and neither does the scientific knowledge and understanding through tools of science about the composition and working of created things implies that this is proof that the creation does not have any creator, the created things just happened to come into existence spontaneously by themselves. In the last two articles on “Global Flood and Fossils” we saw that there is sufficient extra-Biblical evidence of Noah’s flood, provided one is impartially willing to accept it. 

Today we will consider some things related to the Theory of Evolution. There are many questions confronting the believers of evolution, for which they have no answer; and we have seen a few such questions in the earlier articles. A very fundamental question is: If life on Earth started due to some random chemical reactions and physical processes, and as it “evolved'' it has come to the present advanced state of fauna and flora, then what is “life”? This, that we call life, when, how, and from where did this ‘life’ come about into these chemical and physical processes, and become their automatic and self-sustaining self-replicating, integral, and determining part? Has this entity called ‘life’ also progressed or “evolved”, or, has it remained static since its inception and integration into these chemical processes? Is life in humans, animals, and vegetation the same? If not, then what is the difference, and how did this mutual difference develop or come about?

Till date, man has developed and refined so many advanced, complex chemical reactions and processes to make various products; all of them are carried out in a very controlled and planned manner and minutely supervised environment. But forget about putting "life" into them, man has never been able to make these processes self-sustaining, self-regulating, and self-improving. All these actions have to be controlled, monitored, and regulated, otherwise they can get out of hand, out of control anytime and cause heavy losses. As long as these actions are controlled, regulated, and supervised, they remain beneficial; but any small mistake, any neglect of observation, supervision, and control for even a little while, creates the possibilities of a great harm; nothing gets better, everything only deteriorates towards a catastrophe.

Another such fundamental question is that according to evolution and science, billions of years ago, due to high temperature, different types of chemical gases and substances, and atmospheric lightnings, etc., certain chemical substances were formed, which then came together, and interacted with each other, making it possible for life to begin and living beings to arise. What a strange thing, if today any living creature comes in contact with high temperature, or with the possible chemical substances of that environment, and their acidity or alkalinity that would have been around at that time, with the electric shocks like the very high voltage atmospheric lightning, etc. then every kind of matter present in that creature gets disrupted and disintegrates, life ends for it. But in the name of science it is taught to us that the very things that harm and destroy life today, actually created the substances that produced the living beings - but today those living things cannot withstand the very things and processes which started them off.

Another related question is, what is death? Why and how does a living being convert from “living” into the "dead" state? It is a great achievement of current medical science that it is possible to transplant human organs from one body - even from the recently deceased bodies, to another and thereby keep those organs as well as the body of another alive. But the problematic question is what has gone out of their original but now "dead" body from which those organs were taken? These organs, despite being "alive" and functioning properly, as they do after transplantation in another body, why couldn't they keep their original body, from which they were removed, "alive"? No matter how much oxygen, nutrients, medicines, mechanical aids are given, and the heart rate and breathing are maintained by machines, still a dead body stays dead. But the organs removed from the same “dead” body and transplanted into another “living” body not only remain alive themselves, but keep the body of another alive!

Whatever science may say or accept, it is common knowledge and Biblical fact that the giver of our life - our souls - is God, before whom we all have to stand one day to give an account of our lives (2 Corinthians 5:10). We will see some more things about the “soul” and about the theory of evolution in the next article. The Bible teaches that the soul given by the Lord God, eventually goes to him and receives the rewards of its life spent on earth. The soul that goes from this earth with its sins, because while it was on earth it always chose not to be separated from sin and be reconciled with the Savior Lord Jesus, will, as per its decision, go into eternal separation from God, i.e., eternal death, or the eternal torment of hell. The soul who is saved by voluntarily confessing his sins, repenting for them while on earth, and seeking forgiveness from his Creator God for them, the one who has reconciled with the Savior Lord Jesus, will go to live with God in heaven. A voluntarily said short but sincere prayer to Lord Jesus, with honest heartfelt repentance for sins, "Lord Jesus please forgive my sins, accept me as your disciple, take under your care, and cleanse me from the guilt of sin and make me a person, obedient and committed to you" Will change the eternal destiny and direction of your life will change for eternity. Do not waste this opportunity, this call from God. Now is the opportunity, make good use of this invitation, to make the rest of your life on earth, and your eternal life in the next world safe, secure, and blissful.

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि बाइबल में नूह के समय में आए विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय के पर्याप्त प्रमाण बाइबल से बाहर, पौराणिक कथाओं में और ऊँचे पर्वतों की बर्फीली ऊँचाइयों पर समुद्री जीवों, यहाँ तक कि व्हेल और अन्य बड़े समुद्री जीव-जन्तुओं कि जीवाश्मों के होने से मिलते हैं। हमने यह भी देखा था कि किस प्रकार से धरती की सतह के भूभागों के आपस में टकराने द्वारा उन पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं के बनने की धारणा, स्वयं ही इस बात को प्रमाणित करती है कि वे जीवाश्म उस प्रक्रिया का परिणाम नहीं हो सकते हैं। और इससे हमने यह भी समझा था कि किस प्रकार से विज्ञान परमेश्वर और बाइबल के विरुद्ध नहीं है, परन्तु विज्ञान की व्याख्या करने और उसे सिखाने वाले कुछ लोग, जो बाइबल और परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकारना चाहते हैं, वे गलत व्याख्याओं और शिक्षाओं के द्वारा विज्ञान के नाम पर असत्य को फैलाते हैं। अब, क्योंकि इन जीवाश्मों के उन ऊँचाइयों पर पाए जाने का कोई भी स्वीकार्य स्पष्टीकरण नहीं है, इसलिए इन जीवाश्मों के विद्यमान होने प्रमाणों को उजागर नहीं किया जाता है, उन्हें उचित प्रमुखता नहीं दी जाती है। किन्तु इंटरनेट पर “marine fossils, sea-shells, whale fossils on mountains” खोज करने से इसके विषय में बहुत सी जानकारी मिल सकती है। यद्यपि वैज्ञानिक इनके वहाँ होने को समझाने के कई भिन्न स्पष्टीकरण देते हैं, परन्तु वे बातें स्वयं विज्ञान और उन वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा ही खोजी गई वास्तविकता से मेल नहीं खाती हैं।   

जैसा कि हमने पिछले लेखों में देखा है, विज्ञान का यह गुण और कार्य-विधि है कि उस की बातें, धारणाएं, व्याख्याएँ, और निष्कर्ष निरन्तर बदलते रहते हैं; वे न केवल अस्थाई हैं, बल्कि परिवर्तनीय भी हैं, और अपनी ही पिछली बातों के विपरीत भी हो सकते हैं; जिसे पहले ठोस तथ्य माना जाता था, उसे नकार कर उसका तिरस्कार किया जा सकता है, और उससे बिलकुल भिन्न बात लाई जा सकती है। इसलिए परमेश्वर ने अपने लोगों से यह कहा है कि अपने अनन्त जीवनों तथा परमेश्वर के साथ अपने सम्बन्धों के लिये उन्हें केवल उस पर ही भरोसा रखना चाहिये जो स्थिर, अपरिवर्तनीय, अटल, और अनन्त काल के लिए स्थापित है, अर्थात परमेश्वर और उसके वचन पर: “पर मूर्खता के विवादों, और वंशावलियों, और बैर विरोध, और उन झगड़ों से, जो व्यवस्था के विषय में हों बचा रह; क्योंकि वे निष्‍फल और व्यर्थ हैं। किसी पाखंडी को एक दो बार समझा बुझाकर उस से अलग रह। यह जानकर कि ऐसा मनुष्य भटक गया है, और अपने आप को दोषी ठहराकर पाप करता रहता है” (तीतुस 3:9-11)। अपने अनन्त जीवन के लिये उन्हें मनुष्यों से आई हुई संसार की परिवर्तनीय, अस्थिर, असिद्ध ज्ञान की बातों को लेकर अधिक वाद-विवाद करने, या उन परमेश्वर विरोधी सांसारिक बातों को अपने जीवनों में अनावश्यक महत्व अथवा वरीयता देने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, क्योंकि संसार, मनुष्य, और मनुष्य की बातें, उसका ज्ञान तो अन्ततः संसार के अन्त के साथ अन्त हो जाएगा। 

परमेश्वर ने यह चेतावनी भी दी कि संसार के विज्ञान के ज्ञान पीछे भागने वाले और उस पर भरोसा रखने वाले, आत्मिक बातों के लिये अपने विश्वास से भटकाए जा सकते हैं “हे तीमुथियुस इस थाती की रखवाली कर और जिस ज्ञान को ज्ञान कहना ही भूल है, उसके अशुद्ध बकवाद और विरोध की बातों से परे रह। कितने इस ज्ञान का अंगीकार कर के, विश्वास से भटक गए हैं। तुम पर अनुग्रह होता रहे” (1 तीमुथियुस 6:20-21)।  

बाइबल हमें सिखाती है कि उद्धर, अर्थात मनुष्य की सबसे बड़ी समस्या - पाप, का समाधान, मनुष्यों के ज्ञान और समझ से नहीं, बल्कि पापों से पश्चाताप करके, शाश्वत, अटल, सिद्ध परमेश्वर, जो उन से अथाह प्रेम करता है, पर विश्वास करने से है। परमेश्वर ने इस पर जोर देते हुए कि यह समाधान मनुष्य के अपने ज्ञान और सामर्थ्य से नहीं है, यह समाधान प्रभु यीशु मसीह में होकर संसार के सभी लोगों के लिए मुफ्त में उपलब्ध करवा दिया है, जैसा कि पौलुस प्रेरित ने लगभग दो हज़ार वर्ष पहले लिखा था: “और हे भाइयों, जब मैं परमेश्वर का भेद सुनाता हुआ तुम्हारे पास आया, तो वचन या ज्ञान की उत्तमता के साथ नहीं आया। क्योंकि मैं ने यह ठान लिया था, कि तुम्हारे बीच यीशु मसीह, वरन क्रूस पर चढ़ाए हुए मसीह को छोड़ और किसी बात को न जानूं। और मैं निर्बलता और भय के साथ, और बहुत थरथराता हुआ तुम्हारे साथ रहा। और मेरे वचन, और मेरे प्रचार में ज्ञान की लुभाने वाली बातें नहीं; परन्तु आत्मा और सामर्थ का प्रमाण था। इसलिये कि तुम्हारा विश्वास मनुष्यों के ज्ञान पर नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर की सामर्थ पर निर्भर हो” (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:1-5)।

निष्कर्ष यह है कि पिछले कुछ समय से हम देखते चले आ रहे हैं कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल को बदनाम करने और झूठा प्रमाणित करने के प्रयास तो बहुत किए गए, किन्तु बाइबल को गलत या झूठा कोई नहीं प्रमाणित कर सका। वरन इस प्रयास में, स्वयं के द्वारा बाइबल के पक्ष में खोजे गये प्रमाणों के कारण, कई अविश्वासी प्रभु यीशु मसीह के उत्साही और प्रतिबद्ध अनुयायी एवं विश्वासी बन गये। हमने पिछले तथा आज के लेख से यह भी देखा है कि बाइबल में ही उसके परमेश्वर का सत्यापित किये जा सकने वाला अटल, शाश्वत, और सत्य वचन होने के पर्याप्त प्रमाण विद्यमान हैं; और किस प्रकार से विज्ञान के तथ्यों को परमेश्वर और बाइबल के विरुद्ध गलत् उद्देश्य से उपयोग किया जाता है। आगे भी हम कई और प्रकार के वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों की बाइबल में उपस्थिति, उनके मनुष्यों को ज्ञात होने से भी हजारों वर्ष पहले वहाँ लिखे जाने के संदर्भ में देखेंगे; अगले लेख में हम अपनी इसी श्रृंखला में जीवन के आरम्भ तथा क्रमिक विकासवाद (evolution) के सिद्धान्त से सम्बन्धित कुछ बातों को देखेंगे।

तो, अभी तक हमने जो देखा है, उसके आधार पर, उस महान, प्रेमी सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर के प्रति आज आपका विचार और निर्णय क्या है? क्या आप स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से, अपने पापों के प्रति सच्चे पश्चाताप के साथ की गई एक छोटी प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु, मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लेकर पापी संसार और पापी मनुष्यों पर आने वाले न्याय और भयानक विनाश से बचा लें” के द्वारा अपने पृथ्वी के शेष जीवन तथा अनन्तकाल को सुरक्षित करेंगे? साधारण विश्वास की इस प्रार्थना और समर्पण को अवसर देकर देखिए - आप निराश नहीं होंगे।

Global Flood and Fossils - 2

In the previous article we had seen that there are sufficient evidences of the Biblical flood that occurred in Noah’s times, outside the Bible as the mythological stories of a similar  flood in all the civilizations of the world, and as fossils of sea-animals, even of whales and large sea-animals found at the snowy heights of the major mountain ranges. We had also seen how, the theory of plate tectonics, i.e., colliding and pressing together of the earth’s plates making up its crust, by itself ends up proving that these fossils could not have ended up on those mountains through this mechanism. From this we had also seen how science is not contrary to God or the Bible, but some of those who interpret and teach science and want to deny the existence of God and truths of the Bible, in the name of science, they misinterpret facts and teach their falsities. Now, therefore, since there is no other tenable explanation about these marine fossils, the evidence for their existence and findings is suppressed, it is not given its due prominence in scientific reporting. But by searching "marine fossils, sea-shells, whale fossils on mountains" on the Internet, a lot of information can still be found about it. Although scientists give various theories and explanations to explain the presence of fossils of sea animals in high mountainous regions, but their explanations do not truly go along with the evident facts unearthed by the scientists and science itself.

As we have seen in the previous articles, by its very nature and methodology, the theories, interpretations, and inferences of science always keep changing, are fallible, even contradicting and rejecting what may have been considered as solid facts earlier. Therefore, God told His people that for their eternal lives and their relationship with Him, they should only trust that which is perfect, unchanging, infallible eternally established, i.e., Him and His Word. "But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.  Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned” (Titus 3:9-11). They do not need to be worried about the changing, fallible, imperfect worldly knowledge and things from man, nor to give unnecessary importance or priority to the scientific knowledge, arguments, theories, etc., presented as “proofs” against God and the Bible, since man, all his knowledge and all his achievements will eventually perish with the world at its end.

God also warned that those who rely more on such worldly scientific knowledge can then, for their spiritual lives, be led astray from the faith "O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge -- by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen" (1 Timothy 6:20-21).

The Bible teaches us that salvation, i.e., the solution to man’s greatest problem - sin, is not through man’s own knowledge, but through repentance from sins and faith in the eternal, infallible, perfect God who loves them immeasurably. God has made this solution available through the gospel of forgiveness of sins and salvation by faith in the Lord Jesus, freely to all the people of the world, emphasizing that it is not based upon the knowledge and understanding of men, but on their realization of their sin present in them and their acceptance of salvation by faith. As the apostle Paul wrote about two thousand years ago: “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God" (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).

The conclusion is that for the past sometime, we have been seeing that many attempts have been made to discredit and prove the Bible as false, but to date none has been able to prove the Bible to be false or wrong. Rather, in attempting to do so, many unbelievers, because of the proofs they discovered in favor of the Bible, came to faith in the Lord Jesus and became His ardent and committed followers. We have also seen through the previous and today’s article that in the Bible itself there is enough evidence of it being the infallible, eternal, and verifiably true Word of God; and how the facts of science are misinterpreted and misused against God and the Bible. In the days ahead, we will see the presence of many more kinds of scientific facts in the Bible, all written in it thousands of years ago, before men knew, or even had any idea about them. In the next article we will consider a few things about the origin of life and the theory of evolution.

So, today, in context of all that we have seen so far, what are your thoughts and your decision about the great and loving Creator God? Would you willingly and sincerely, with a heartfelt repentance of your sins, say a short prayer, “Lord Jesus, forgive my sins, take me under your care and save me from the judgment and terrible destruction that will be coming upon the sinful world and sinful men.” Your one sincere, voluntary prayer of faith will not only safeguard the rest of your earthly life but your eternity as well. विश्व-व्यापी जल-प्रलय तथा जीवाश्म - 1

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में दी गई भविष्यवाणियों में से, हमारे वर्तमान समय से सम्बन्धित दो प्रमुख भविष्यवाणियाँ हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह का दूसरा आगमन, और संसार का न्याय तथा विनाश। बाइबल में इनके पूरा होने के बारे में दिये गये चिन्हों (मत्ती 24 अध्याय) के अनुसार, हम इसी अन्त समय में जी रहे हैं, और यह किसी भी पल घटित हो सकता है। किन्तु साथ ही लगभग 2000 वर्ष पहले जब प्रभु यीशु के शिष्यों के द्वारा यह बातें लिखी जा रही थीं, तब यह भी बता दिया गया था कि अन्त के दिनों में लोग इन बातों पर विश्वास नहीं करेंगे, इनका उपहास करेंगे। अन्त के दिनों के इस विवरण और अविश्वास को समझाने के लिये, प्राचीन काल में नूह के समय में आए विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय का उदाहरण भी दिया गया था; और इसे भी हमने पिछले लेख में देखा था। यह जल प्रलय भी संसार के लोगों के अविश्वास और उपहास का एक प्रमुख केन्द्र रहा है। आज हम इसी जल प्रलय से सम्बन्धित कुछ बातों पर विचार करते हैं। 

ऐसा नहीं है कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल के बाहर इस विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय के प्रमाण नहीं हैं; सारे संसार की सभी सभ्यताओं में इस विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय की पौराणिक कथाएं विद्यमान हैं। और यह बहुत स्वाभाविक भी है, क्योंकि सारे संसार के लोग नूह के वंशज हैं। वे सभी उस जल प्रलय में से परमेश्वर द्वारा सुरक्षित निकाले गए, और जैसे-जैसे संसार में फैलते चले गए, उस जल प्रलय की घटना की मौखिक स्मृतियाँ भी अपने साथ लेकर गए, जिन में समय के साथ कुछ-कुछ परिवर्तन आए, किन्तु मूल स्वरूप वही है कि एक विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय हुआ था, और सारी पृथ्वी पर से कुछ मनुष्यों को छोड़ शेष सभी मनुष्य उस जल-प्रलय में नाश हो गए थे।

यह केवल पौराणिक बातों में ही नहीं है, किन्तु सारे संसार भर में इस विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय के प्रमाण जलचर जीव-जन्तुओं के जीवाश्मों के रूप में विद्यमान हैं, और इनमें व्हेल तथा अन्य विशाल समुद्री जीवों के जीवाश्म भी हैं; और ये जीवाश्म उन ऊंचे हिमालय और ऐन्डीस जैसी ऊंची पर्वत-श्रंखलाओं पर भी प्रचुर मात्रा में हैं, जिनके कभी जल मगन होने की बात वैज्ञानिक न तो कल्पना करते हैं और न ही स्वीकार करते हैं। इसलिये, समुद्री जीव-जन्तुओं के जीवाश्मों के पर्वतों की ऊँचाइयों पर मिलने को समझाने के लिये, कुछ धारणाएं बनाई गई हैं, और सिखाई जाती हैं। इन धारणाओं में से एक, जो वैज्ञानिकों और भूविज्ञानियों में काफी प्रचलित है और मानी जाती है, यह है कि ये जीव-जन्तु समुद्रों में थे, और जैसे-जैसे पृथ्वी की सतह बनाने वाले विशाल भू-भाग बहते हुए आपस में टकराते रहे, एक दूसरे को दबाते रहे, उनके परस्पर टकराव के क्षेत्रों में दबाव के कारण, भूमि की सतह में बल आए, किनारे मुड़े और ऊपर को उठने लगे, और उनके ऊपर उठते चले जाने से पर्वत श्रृंखलाएँ बन गईं, जो अपने साथ इन जीव-जन्तुओं के अवशेषों को भी बर्फीली ऊँचाइयों तक ले गईं। किन्तु यदि आप इंटरनेट पर “fallacies in plate tectonics and marine fossils” के द्वारा खोज करेंगे, तो यह प्रकट हो जाएगा कि यद्यपि यह धारणा बहुत प्रचलित और सामान्यतः ग्रहण कर ली जाती है, परन्तु सभी इसे स्वीकार नहीं करते हैं; और इसके कई आलोचक तथा आलोचनाएँ, और इसे लेकर सन्देह भी हैं।

किन्तु साथ ही, यह धारणा इस बात को दिखाने का एक उत्तम उदाहरण है कि विज्ञान परमेश्वर और बाइबल के विरुद्ध नहीं है; विज्ञान की व्याख्या करने और शिक्षा देने वाले कुछ लोग, जो परमेश्वर और बाइबल के विरुद्ध हैं, वे विज्ञान की बातों को ऐसी अनुचित रीति से प्रस्तुत करते हैं कि आम लोग धोखे और बहकावे में आकर, परमेश्वर और बाइबल पर सन्देह करने लगते हैं। अब, जीवाश्मों के बारे में दी गई इस धारणा से सम्बन्धित वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, एक सामान्य-समझ के प्रश्न पर विचार कीजिये - वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार, धरती के भू-भागों के टकराने और मुड़ने, ऊपर उठने की गति बहुत ही धीमी होती है - केवल कुछ मिलीमीटर प्रति वर्ष; अर्थात, यह कोई अचानक और तेज़ी से होने वाली विनाशकारी घटना नहीं है। इसलिये बजाए इस बताई जाने वाली सम्भावना के, कि ऊपर उठते हुए भु-भागों के बीच में समुद्र का कुछ भाग फंस गया होगा, फिर धीरे-धीरे वह सूख गया, उसके जीव-जन्तु मर गये, और उनके जीवाश्म बन गये, एक भिन्न सम्भावना का होना कहीं अधिक तार्किक और सम्भव लगता है, और यह अधिक सम्भव संभावना है कि, क्योंकि धरती की सतह के ऊपर उठने की गति बहुत धीमी थी - केवल कुछ मिलीमीटर प्रति वर्ष, इसलिये समुद्र और उसके जीवों के फँसने की बजाए, बहुत धीरे-धीरे ऊपर उठती हुई धरती से समुद्र का पीछे होते जाना कहीं अधिक सम्भव था। और ऐसी स्थिति में समुद्र की गहराई में तथा उसके पर्यावरण में बहुत धीरे से होने वाले परिवर्तन के कारण, वहाँ के जीव-जन्तुओं को किसी अन्य स्थान पर चले जाने और बचे रह जाने के लिये पर्याप्त समय था; न कि उनके किसी भू-भाग में फँस जाने और मर कर जीवाश्म बन जाने की सम्भावना के। इसलिये, जब उस ऊपर उठती हुई धरती पर फँसने और मरने के लिए वहाँ कोई समुद्री जीव-जन्तु ही नहीं बचे होंगे, तो पर्वतों की बर्फीली ऊँचाइयों पर उनके जीवाश्म कैसे पहुँचेंगे; और व्हेल तथा अन्य बड़े जीवों के जीवाश्मों के पर्वतों की उन ऊँचाइयों पर होने का तो प्रश्न ही नहीं उठता है। इसलिये धरती के भूभागों के टकराने की यह प्रचलित और काफी ग्रहण की जाने वाली धारणा, स्वयं ही उन जीवाश्मों के वहाँ उन ऊँचाइयों पर होने की सम्भावना को नकार देती है। परन्तु, यह ऐसी बात है जो किसी अचानक और भयानक घटना, जैसे कि नूह के समय की विश्व-व्यापी जल-प्रलय के घटित होने और तेज़ी से पूरी हो जाने से हो सकती है; क्योंकि तब पर्वतों को डुबो देने वाले जल के चढ़ने साथ वे जीव-जन्तु भी वहाँ पहुँचे, और फिर पानी के तेज़ी से घटने और पर्वतों के फिर से दिखने लग जाने के कारण वे वहाँ फँस गये, मिट्टी-पत्थरों में दब गए और वहाँ पर उनके जीवाश्म बन गये।

इस चर्चा से संबधित निष्कर्ष को हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे। किन्तु अभी के लिए, पिछले कुछ समय से हम देखते चले आ रहे हैं कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल को बदनाम करने और झूठा प्रमाणित करने के प्रयास तो बहुत किए गए, किन्तु बाइबल को गलत या झूठा कोई नहीं प्रमाणित कर सका। हमारी आज की चर्चा ने भी इसी बात को दिखाया है कि बाइबल में ही उसके परमेश्वर का अटल और शाश्वत सत्य वचन होने के पर्याप्त प्रमाण विद्यमान हैं, जिनकी पुष्टि बाइबल से बाहर के तथ्यों से भी हो जाती है। साथ ही हमने यह भी देखा है कि किस प्रकार से वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों की अनुचित और गलत व्याख्या को सामान्य लोगों पर, विज्ञान के नाम से थोप दिया जाता है, ताकि बाइबल और परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकारा जाए, जबकि गलत् विज्ञान नहीं, विज्ञान की व्याख्या करने वाले होते हैं। 

उस महान, प्रेमी सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर के प्रति आज आपका विचार और निर्णय क्या है? क्या आप स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से, अपने पापों के प्रति सच्चे पश्चाताप के साथ की गई एक छोटी प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु, मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लेकर पापी संसार और पापी मनुष्यों पर आने वाले न्याय और भयानक विनाश से बचा लें” के द्वारा अपने पृथ्वी के शेष जीवन तथा अनन्तकाल को सुरक्षित करेंगे? साधारण विश्वास की इस प्रार्थना और समर्पण को अवसर देकर देखिए - आप निराश नहीं होंगे।

Global Flood and Fossils - 1

  In the previous article we had seen that amongst the prophecies given in God’s Word the Bible, two main prophecies that are related to our present days, are the second coming of the Lord Jesus, and the judgment of the world and its destruction. According to the signs related to their fulfillment (Matthews chapter 24), we are living in the last days, and these can happen at any moment. Also, when these things were being written by the disciples of the Lord Jesus, about 2000 years ago, then this had also been predicted that in the end-times, people will not believe in these things, but will mock them. To illustrate the descriptions and the unbelief, the example of world-wide flood in Noah’s time was also given; and we had seen about these in the previous article. This flood has also been a prominent target for the unbelief and mockery of the people. Today, we will see some things related to this flood. 

It's not that, outside of the Bible, the evidence of this world-wide deluge isn't present. The story of this world-wide deluge exists in the mythology of all the civilizations of the whole world. And quite naturally so, because the people of the whole world are the descendants of Noah. They had all been rescued by God from that flood, and as they spread through the world, they also took with them oral accounts of the memories of those times, including those of the flood. With the passage of time there were some changes in the accounts, but the basic form has remained the same, that the flood took place all over the earth, and except for a few from whom the earth was repopulated, all the rest of mankind perished.

The evidence of a world-wide flood is not only seen in mythological accounts, but all over the world, the evidence of this deluge is present in the form of fossils of aquatic animals, even of whales and large sea creatures, abundantly found even in higher regions of mountain ranges like Himalayas and Andes, who’s ever being submerged under water, scientists can neither imagine nor believe. Instead, to explain the presence of these sea-animal fossils on the higher mountainous regions, various theories have been proposed, and are taught. One very popular and often believed theory amongst the geologists and scientists is that these animals were in the seas, and as the earth’s continental plates drifted, collided, and pressed against each other, the pressure at the collision areas caused the earth’s surface to buckle and move upwards, and through this upward movement, eventually these high mountains came about, carrying the remains of the sea animals with them to the higher snowy regions. But if one searches the internet using “fallacies in plate tectonics and marine fossils” it becomes apparent that despite being popular and commonly accepted, this theory is not very well accepted by everyone; criticisms and doubts about it remain.

Also, this theory is an excellent example of how science is not against the Bible and God; rather, some people opposed to God and the Bible, misrepresent scientific facts in a manner that the common people get misled by their deceit and untruths, and start doubting God and the Bible. Now, bearing in mind the scientific facts related to this theory, give a common-sense question that should come to the mind, some thought – according to the scientists, this rising of land masses due to the collision of the plates is said to occur at the rate of a few millimeters per year; i.e., it is not a sudden and rapidly occurring catastrophic event. Therefore, rather than the possibility of some parts of the sea with its animals getting trapped between land masses, and eventually drying off, its sea-animals perishing and getting fossilized, the possibility of the water bodies gradually shifting and drawing away as the land under them, or near their shores rose by a few millimeters per year is far more plausible. In such a scenario, due to the very gradually altering sea levels and sea environment, the sea animals would have moved away to more suitable areas, instead of getting trapped in the rising land and eventually dying off and becoming fossilized. Thus, there would be no sea-animals left to get fossilized and gradually raised up to these snowy heights on the mountains; and there is no way that whales and other large sea-creatures would get trapped and fossilized this way. Hence, the popularly accepted and touted theory of plate tectonics by itself speaks against the possibility of the kind of fossils that are found at those great heights on the mountain. But this is something that could easily happen with a sudden catastrophic event occurring and completing within a very short span of time – as is feasible with the global flood of Noah, where sea animals could reach to any levels of the submerged mountains, then as the water rapidly drained away and mountains re-emerged out of the water, they got get trapped, buried and fossilized in the mud.

We will see the conclusions related to this discussion in the next article. For the past sometime, we have been seeing that many attempts have been made to discredit and prove the Bible as false, but to date none has been able to prove the Bible to be false or wrong. Also, in today’s discussion we have also seen that in the Bible itself there is enough evidence of it being the infallible, eternal, and verifiably true Word of God, which is also affirmed through extra-Biblical facts. Today, we have also seen how logically unacceptable interpretations of scientific facts are foisted upon the public in the garb of science, to discredit God and the Bible; and not science, but those misinterpreting science are the actual culprits.

So, today, in context of all that we have seen so far, what are your thoughts and your decision about the great and loving Creator God? Would you willingly and sincerely, with a heartfelt repentance of your sins, say a short prayer, “Lord Jesus, forgive my sins, take me under your care and save me from the judgment and terrible destruction that will be coming upon the sinful world and sinful men.” Your one sincere, voluntary prayer of faith will not only safeguard the rest of your earthly life but your eternity as well. अविश्वास अपेक्षित

पिछले कुछ लेखों में हमने देखा है कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल की पुस्तकों में परमेश्वर ने हजारों वर्ष पहले अनेकों प्रकार का वैज्ञानिक ज्ञान लिखवा दिया था; और वर्तमान में विज्ञान उन्हीं बातों को अपनी ही खोज और आविष्कारों के द्वारा उजागर कर रहा है। बाइबल के ज्ञाता दिखाते रहते हैं कि ये बातें परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही साधारण, सामान्यतः अशिक्षित, तथा अवैज्ञानिक मनुष्यों की समझ में आने वाली भाषा में लिखवा दी थीं। 

साथ ही परमेश्वर ने यह भी लिखवा दिया था कि लोग बाइबल की बातों को अस्वीकार करेंगे, उन पर अविश्वास करेंगे; इस संदर्भ में बाइबल के कुछ पद देखिए:

• 2 पतरस 3:3-4 और यह पहिले जान लो, कि अन्‍तिम दिनों में हंसी ठट्ठा करने वाले आएंगे, जो अपनी ही अभिलाषाओं के अनुसार चलेंगे। और कहेंगे, उसके आने की प्रतिज्ञा कहां गई? क्योंकि जब से बाप-दादे सो गए हैं, सब कुछ वैसा ही है, जैसा सृष्‍टि के आरम्भ से था?

• यहूदा 1:17-19 पर हे प्रियो, तुम उन बातों को स्मरण रखो; जो हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के प्रेरित पहिले कह चुके हैं। वे तुम से कहा करते थे, कि पिछले दिनों में ऐसे ठट्ठा करने वाले होंगे, जो अपनी अभक्ति के अभिलाषाओं के अनुसार चलेंगे। ये तो वे हैं, जो फूट डालते हैं; ये शारीरिक लोग हैं, जिन में आत्मा नहीं।

न केवल परमेश्वर ने इस अविश्वास और उपेक्षा किए जाने के बारे में लिखवाया, वरन वो बातें भी लिखवा दीं जिनको लेकर अविश्वासी लोग उपहास करेंगे। इन बातों में से एक, ऊपर पतरस वाले पदों में दी गई है, प्रभु यीशु मसीह का दूसरा आगमन - जिसके विषय मसीही विश्वासियों में बहुत प्रत्याशा है, किन्तु अविश्वासियों में बहुत संशय और उपहास किया जाता है। इसी प्रकार दो अन्य उदाहरण है बाइबल में दिया गया पृथ्वी की रचना का वर्णन और नूह के समय में मनुष्यों में पाप के अत्यधिक बढ़ जाने से आए विश्व-व्यापी जल प्रलय और पापी मनुष्यों के विनाश का वृतांत। पतरस ने अपनी पत्री में लिखा: “वे तो जान बूझ कर यह भूल गए, कि परमेश्वर के वचन के द्वारा से आकाश प्राचीन काल से वर्तमान है और पृथ्वी भी जल में से बनी और जल में स्थिर है। इन्‍हीं के द्वारा उस युग का जगत जल में डूब कर नाश हो गया” (2 पतरस 3:5-6); और फिर सचेत किया कि जैसे नूह के समय में अविश्वासी और पापी जन जल के द्वारा नाश की गए थे, वैसे ही इस युग में पापी संसार और पापी मनुष्य आग के द्वारा भस्म किए जाएंगे “पर वर्तमान काल के आकाश और पृथ्वी उसी वचन के द्वारा इसलिये रखे हैं, कि जलाए जाएं; और वह भक्तिहीन मनुष्यों के न्याय और नाश होने के दिन तक ऐसे ही रखे रहेंगे” (2 पतरस 3:7)। 

पिछले कुछ समय से हम देखते चले आ रहे हैं कि परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल को बदनाम करने और झूठा प्रमाणित करने के प्रयास तो बहुत किए गए, किन्तु बाइबल को गलत या झूठा कोई नहीं प्रमाणित कर सका। वरन इस प्रयास में, स्वयं के द्वारा बाइबल के पक्ष में खोजे गये प्रमाणों के कारण, कई अविश्वासी प्रभु यीशु मसीह के उत्साही और प्रतिबद्ध अनुयायी एवं विश्वासी बन गये। हमने यह भी देखा है कि बाइबल में ही उसके परमेश्वर का अटल और शाश्वत सत्य वचन होने के प्रमाण विद्यमान हैं। आगे भी हम कई और प्रकार के वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों की बाइबल में उपस्थिति, उनके मनुष्यों को ज्ञात होने से भी हजारों वर्ष पहले वहाँ लिखे जाने के संदर्भ में देखेंगे; अगले लेख में हम इसी विश्व-व्यापी जल-प्रलय और जीवाश्मों से सम्बन्धित कुछ बातों को देखेंगे।

अभी तक हमने जो कुछ देखा है, उसके आधार पर, उस महान, प्रेमी सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर के प्रति आज आपका विचार और निर्णय क्या है? क्या आप स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से, अपने पापों के प्रति सच्चे पश्चाताप के साथ की गई एक छोटी प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु, मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लेकर पापी संसार और पापी मनुष्यों पर आने वाले न्याय और भयानक विनाश से बचा लें” के द्वारा अपने पृथ्वी के शेष जीवन तथा अनन्तकाल को सुरक्षित करेंगे? साधारण विश्वास की इस प्रार्थना और समर्पण को अवसर देकर देखिए - आप निराश नहीं होंगे।

Skepticism Predicted

Over the past few articles we have been seeing that God, thousands of years ago, had got written in the books of His Word the Bible, many things of scientific importance, which scientists and science are presently learning and realizing through their own discoveries and inventions. Biblical scholars continue to show that what science is saying today, God had already written those things through ordinary, often uneducated men, and those without any knowledge of science, in a simple language that would be understandable to ordinary people of those times.

At the same time, God had also got it written beforehand that people would reject and disbelieve the words of the Bible. See some Bible verses in this context:

• 2 Peter 3:3-4 “knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

• Jude 1:17-19 “But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.”

Not only did God get written about this unbelief and willful neglect,  but He also had written the very things that would be ridiculed by unbelievers. One of them is stated in the quote from Peter above — the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ — of which there is great anticipation among Christians, but much unbelief and ridicule among unbelievers. Two other similar examples are the Biblical description of the creation of the earth and the account of the worldwide flood for the destruction of sinful people, which happened in Noah's time because of the great increase in sin amongst mankind. Peter wrote in his letter: “For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water” (2 Peter 3:5-6); And then cautioned that just as unbelievers and sinners were destroyed by water in the time of Noah, so in this age the sinful world and the sinful mankind will be consumed by fire “But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:7).

For the past sometime, we have been seeing that many attempts have been made to discredit and prove the Bible as false, but to date none has been able to prove the Bible to be false or wrong. Rather, in attempting to do so, many unbelievers, because of the proofs they discovered in favor of the Bible, came to faith in the Lord Jesus and became His ardent and committed followers. We have also seen that in the Bible itself there is enough evidence of it being the infallible, eternal, and verifiably true Word of God. In the days ahead, we will see the presence of many more kinds of scientific facts in the Bible, all written in there thousands of years ago, before men knew, or even had any idea about them. In the next article we will consider a few things about the global flood and the fossils.

Today, in context of all that we have seen so far, what are your thoughts and your decision about the great, loving Creator God? Would you willingly and sincerely, with a heartfelt repent of your sins, and say a short prayer, “Lord Jesus, forgive my sins, take me under your care and save me from the judgment and terrible destruction that will be coming upon the sinful world and sinful men.” Your one sincere, voluntary prayer of faith will not only safeguard the rest of your earthly life but your eternity as well. Give this prayer of simple faith and willing surrender to the Lord Jesus an honest chance - you won't be disappointed.
