पिछले लेख में हमने बाइबल की पुस्तकों के लेखकों, समयों, भाषाओं, आदि से सम्बन्धित तथ्यों को देखा था, कि कितनी भिन्नताओं में ये पुस्तकें, उस समय, कुछ लोगों तक परमेश्वर का सन्देश पहुँचाने के लिये लिखी गईं। परन्तु अन्ततः जब प्रभु परमेश्वर की अगुवाई में ये संकलित हुईं, तो पूरी एक ही पुस्तक बँ गई, जिस के भागों में उसके केन्द्रीय विषय को लेकर कोई भिन्नता, कोई विरोधाबास नहीं है - जो एक ऐसी विलक्षण बात है जो मानवीय योजना अथवा कल्पना से अथवा आकस्मिक रीति से नहीं हो सकती है। 

इस पर थोड़ा ध्यान दीजिए और विचार कीजिए कि हर प्रकार की इतनी अधिक विविधता और भिन्नता होते हुए भी; एक लेखक के दूसरे के बारे में न जानते हुए भी; किसी भी लेखक को यह जानकारी न होते हुए भी के भविष्य में किसी समय पर जाकर पुस्तकें संकलित होंगी; अलग-अलग पृष्ठभूमि, विचार-धारा, संस्कृति, समय, स्थान, और भाषाओं के होते हुए भी, इन लेखकों की पुस्तकों में कोई विरोधाभास नहीं है, कोई असंगत होना नहीं है, सभी पुस्तकें एक-दूसरे की पूरक हैं, सहायक हैं, समर्थक हैं। 

यदि आज, अभी कोई घटना घटित हो, और उसके प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों से उस घटना का विवरण लिखने को कहा जाए, तो उन लोगों के विवरणों में कुछ न कुछ भिन्नता अवश्य मिलेगी; कुछ थोड़ा-बहुत विरोधाभास भी अवश्य आएगा। यदि ऐसा नहीं होता है, तो विश्लेषण करने वाले विशेषज्ञों का सामान्य निष्कर्ष होता है कि या तो लोगों ने किसी एक के वर्णन को आधार बनाकर उसकी नकल की है; या किसी एक व्यक्ति ने उन सभी से लिखवाया है, जिस से कि समान विचार और सामग्री सभी में देखे जा रहे हैं।

यही तर्क बाइबल के लेखों के लिए भी लागू होता है। ऊपर दी गए विविधता और भिन्नताओं के कारण ये लेखक एक दूसरी की नकल तो कर नहीं सकते थे; तो फिर उन्हें लिखवाने वाला कोई एक ही होगा - सम्पूर्ण पवित्र शास्त्र परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की प्रेरणा से लिखा गया है (2 तीमुथियुस 3:16-17)। लेखक भिन्न थे, लिखवाने वाला एक ही था। इस पर कुछ और चर्चा हम आते समय में एक अन्य लेख में करेंगे। 

तो हम देखते हैं कि बाइबल के लेखकों और लेखन का अनुपम, अद्भुत इतिहास, उसके परमेश्वर का वचन होने के दावे की पुष्टि करता है। और यही बाइबल जगत के अन्त और सभी मनुष्यों का न्याय किये जाने, प्रभु यीशु के सामने अपने जीवन का हिसाब देने के बारे में भी बताती है (रोमियों 14:10-12); जिसकी तैयारी अभी इसी पृथ्वी पर करनी है। बाद में तो पृथ्वी पर लिये गए निर्णय और किये गए कार्यों के परिणाम ही प्राप्त करने होंगे। इसलिये आज, अभी समय रहते प्रभु यीशु पर विश्वास लाने के द्वारा तैयारी कर लें। 

अगले लेख में हम बाइबल के लेखों के विषयों और सामग्री में अनुपम होने के बारे में देखेंगे. परन्तु यदि आप ने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Bible - Unique in its Writings and Writers (2)

In the previous article we had seen the facts about the Biblical authors, their times, and the languages used etc., and noted that initially they were written in such a diverse manner, to convey God’s message to some people. But eventually, when they were compiled together under the guidance of God, they became one book that had no diversity of the central theme, nor any contradiction amongst its various books. This is an amazing thing, which is impossible through any human intellect and planning, nor can it happen by chance.

Now please give this fact a little thought and consider the fact that despite there being so many differences, and so much variety in all related factors; despite none of the authors knowing anything about any other author; despite none of the author’s ever knowing that at some time in the future, their written books will be compiled to make one book; despite the different backgrounds, ideologies, cultures, times, places, and languages, etc. of the authors, the books of these authors have no contradictions, no inconsistencies, all books complement each other, supplement each other, and help to understand each other’s writings. 

If today, just now, an event happens, and its eyewitnesses are asked to write a description of that event, then there definitely will be some variations in the details written by those people; and there will also be some mutual contradictions in some details. If this doesn't happen, then the general conclusion of the experts analyzing their descriptions is that either all the people have based their description on one record, and copied from it; Or have had one person write them all, and that is why the same ideas and content are being seen in all.

This same logic applies for the writings of the Bible. But these authors could not copy each other or copy from any one record, because of the above-mentioned diversity and variations amongst the various authors. Therefore, then the only logical conclusion is that only one person has had the whole record written down - all the Scriptures are written by the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The writers, the people holding and using the pen, were different; but the author was the same for all the books. We will discuss this some more in another article in the coming time.

So we see that the unique, wonderful history of the Bible's authors and writings confirms its claim to be the Word of God. And, this same Bible speaks of the end of the world and every person having to give an account of their lives to the Lord Jesus (Romans 14:10-12). The preparations for this giving of accounts has to be done now on earth; Later in the next world, we will only receive the consequences and rewards of things done, decisions taken while on earth. Therefore prepare yourselves now, while there is time and opportunity available.

In the next article, we will consider the topic of the Bible being unique in the topics and contents of its writings. But for now, if you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

जैसे पिछले लेख में कहा गया था, बाइबल और विज्ञान (जो कि विभिन्न तरीकों से सृजी गई वस्तुओं की रचना और कार्य विधियों का अध्ययन ही है), में परस्पर विरोधाभास में नहीं हैं। हमने यह भी देखा था कि संसार के प्रमुख वैज्ञानिकों में से कई, बाबल पर विश्वास रखने वाले प्रतिबद्ध मसीही विश्वासी थे; तथा बाइबल से प्रेरणा पाकर संसार की बहुत महत्वपूर्ण खोज हुई हैं। साथ ही, बाइबल को गलत प्रमाणित करने निकले अविश्वासियों में से कुछ लोग, उनकी खोज के परिणामों के बाइबल ही के पक्ष में के होने कारण, मसीही विश्वासी तथा बाइबल के दावों की दृढ़ता से पुष्टि करने वाले बन गये।

पीछे के लेख में हमें बताया था कि बाइबल कुल 66 भिन्न पुस्तकों का संकलन है, जो भिन्न समयों पर, भिन्न लोगों द्वारा लिखी गई थीं। इन पुस्तक के लेखक न तो यह जानते थे कि किसी अन्य ने क्या, कब और क्यों लिखा। और न ही वे यह जानते थे कि एक दिन उनकी लिखी हुई बातों को मिला कर एक पुस्तक बना दिया जाएगा। वे तो परमेश्वर की अगुवाई में, अपने समय के कुछ लोगों को पमरीश्वर के सन्देश लिख रहे थे। किन्तु जब उन्हें एकत्रित करके साथ रखा गया तो बड़ी अद्भुत रीति से वे सभी पुस्तकें मिलकर एक पूर्ण पुस्तक बन गईं। इस एकीकृत की गई पुस्तक के सभी भाग एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं, उनमें परस्पर कोई विरोधाभास नहीं है, सभी पुस्तकें एक-दूसरे के लेखों को समर्थित करती हैं, और सभी पुस्तकों की परस्पर सहायता से ही बाइबल की बातों को भली-भांति और ठीक से समझा जा सकता है। 

यह तब और भी अद्भुत तथा विलक्षण हो जाता है जब बाइबल के लिखे जाने और लेखकों के बारे में थोड़ा विवरण देखते हैं:

• बाइबल की पुस्तकें लगभग 1500 वर्ष से अधिक के अंतराल में लिखी गईं, और फिर भी पूर्णतः सामंजस्य में हैं। 

• बाइबल की पुस्तकों के 40 से अधिक लेखक थे, जो समय, भौगोलिक स्थान, भाषा, कार्य तथा व्यवसाय, शैक्षिक स्तर, सामाजिक ओहदे, आदि में भिन्न थे। इन विभिन्न लेखकों में से कुछ के उदाहरण देखते हैं:

• मूसा – एक राजनीतिक अगुवा था, जिसका पालन-पोषण, शिक्षा, प्रशिक्षण मिस्र के राजसी घराने में एक राजकुमार के समान हुआ था। 

• यहोशू – पहले एक दास, और फिर इस्राएल की सेना का एक सेनापति था। 

• दाऊद – एक चरवाहा युवक था, जो राजा की सेना में सम्मिलित किया गया, उन्नति करते हुए शूरवीर पराक्रमी योद्धा, और फिर इस्राएल का राजा बना। वह एक कवि, और संगीतज्ञ भी था जिसने न केवल स्तुति के भजन लिखे और संगीत-बद्ध किए, वरन कई संगीत वाद्य भी बनाए। 

• सुलैमान – राजा तथा परमेश्वर की कृपादृष्टि पाया हुआ दार्शनिक, बुद्धिजीवी, और लेखक था। 

• नहेम्याह – एक गैर-यहूदी राजा का सेवक था, जिसका कार्य पहले स्वयं चख-परखकर फिर राजा के पीने के लिए उसे पेय का कटोरा पकड़ाना था। 

• एज्रा – एक धर्म-शास्त्री और पवित्र शास्त्र का विद्वान था।  

• दानिय्येल – एक यहूदी गुलाम युवक, जो बेबीलोन के राजा का सर्वोच्च सलाहकार एवं मंत्री बना। 

• आमोस – एक चरवाहा था। 

• लूका – एक वैद्य और लेखक था। 

• मत्ती – एक चुंगी लेने वाला सरकारी नौकर था। 

• पौलुस – एक धर्म-शास्त्र का विद्वान और धार्मिक अगुवा था। 

• यूहन्ना और पतरस – अनपढ़ साधारण मछुआरे थे। 

• मरकुस – पतरस के लिए लिखने वाले एक सामान्य युवक था। 

• बाइबल की पुस्तकें विभिन्न स्थानों और परिस्थितियों में लिखे गईं:

• मूसा ने जंगल की यात्रा के दौरान लिखीं 

• यिर्मयाह ने कैदखाने की काल-कोठरी में पड़े हुए लिखी 

• दानिय्येल ने राजमहल में लिखी 

• पौलुस ने बंदीगृह में पड़े हुए या अपनी यात्राओं के दौरान लिखीं 

• लूका ने मसीही सेवकाई की यात्रा करते हुए लिखी

• यूहन्ना ने अपनी सेवकाई के दौरान, था पतमोस के टापू पर काला-पानी की सजा भोगते हुए भी लिखी

• दाऊद ने कुछ युद्ध के समय में लिखी, तो कुछ अन्य अपने जीवन की भिन्न-भिन्न परिस्थितियों में लिखीं।  

• सुलैमान ने शांति और संपन्नता के समय में लिखी 

• बाइबल की पुस्तकें विभिन्न मनोदशाओं में लिखी गईं:

• कुछ ने परम-आनंद के भाव में उत्साह के साथ लिखीं 

• कुछ ने घोर निराशा, दुख, और हताश के समयों में अपनी भावनाएं व्यक्त कीं 

• कुछ ने विश्वास की दृढ़ता में निश्चितता के साथ लिखीं 

• कुछ ने संदेह और असमंजस से जूझते हुए लिखा 

• बाइबल की पुस्तकें तीन भिन्न महाद्वीपों और उनकी संस्कृतियों तथा सामाजिक विचारधाराओं में लिखी गईं। ये तीन महाद्वीप हैं:

• एशिया 

• अफ्रीका 

• यूरोप 

• बाइबल की पुस्तकें तीन भिन्न भाषाओं में लिखी गईं:

• इब्री या इब्रानी भाषा – जो यहूदियों की, तथा लगभग सम्पूर्ण पुराने नियम के लिखे जाने की भाषा है। 

• अरामी – जो निकट-पूर्व के देशों – वर्तमान इस्राएल तथा उसके आस-पास के देशों के क्षेत्रों की आम लोगों की; राजा सिकंदर के छठी शताब्दी ईसा-पूर्व में यूनान से संसार के विजय अभियान पर निकलने से पहले की भाषा हुआ करती थी। पुराने नियम के कुछ भाग, जैसे के दानिय्येल के 2 से 7 अध्याय और एज्रा का अधिकांश 4 अध्याय से लेकर 7 अध्याय तक अरामी भाषा में हैं। 

• यूनानी – यह लगभग सम्पूर्ण नए नियम के लिखे जाने की भाषा है, और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की पृथ्वी के समय की सेवकाई के समय की यह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भाषा तथा जन-सामान्य की भाषा थी।

Bible - Unique in its Writings and Writers (1)

As stated in the preceding article, the Bible and science (which is the study of the construction and functioning of the various created things), are not mutually contradictory. We also saw that some of the greatest scientists of the world have been devout Bible believing Christians; and the Bible has inspired some great scientific discoveries, and in trying to prove the Bible wrong, some opponents of the Bible, through the evidence they themselves uncovered which was fully in favor of the Bible, became Christian Believers and great supporters of the truth of the Bible. 

In earlier articles, we had mentioned that the Bible is a compilation of 66 different books, written by different people, at different times. The authors of these books never knew that someone else was also writing something, nor its why and when. Nor did they know that one day all these books will be combined together as one book. They were only writing some messages given to them by God, addressed to some of their contemporary people. But on being collected and compiled together, all those books marvelously fit together as one unit and became a single complete book. All the parts of this compiled book complement each other, all the books support each other’s contents, and all the books supplement each other's writings; there is no contradiction in them. It is only by taking the help of what is written in the other books, that the writings of the Bible can be better and properly understood. 

It becomes even more wonderful and unique when we look at a little detail about the writing and authors of the Bible:

• The books of the Bible were written over a span of more than 1500 years, and yet are in full mutual harmony.

• There were over 40 authors of Bible books, spread over different times, differing in geographic locations, languages, work and occupations, educational levels, social status, etc. Let's see some examples of some of these different authors:

• Moses – was a political leader, who was raised, educated, trained as a prince in the royal family of Egypt.

• Joshua – Initially was a slave and later became a Military General of the Israelite army.

• David – Initially was a young shepherd who joined the king's army, rose to become a mighty warrior, and eventually became the King of Israel. He was also a poet, and musician who not only wrote and composed hymns of praise of God, but also made many musical instruments.

• Solomon - was a Prince who had received the blessings and visions of God; and was a philosopher, intellectual, and writer.

• Nehemiah – was a servant of a Gentile King, whose job was to first taste himself and then to hand the drink bowl to the King to drink.

• Ezra – was a theologian and scholar of the Holy Scriptures.

• Daniel – A Jewish slave youth, who became the supreme adviser and minister to the Babylonian king.

• Amos – was a shepherd.

• Luke – was a physician and writer.

• Matthew – Was a tax collector, a government servant.

• Paul – was a theological scholar and religious leader.

• John and Peter – were illiterate and ordinary fishermen.

• Mark – was a common young man who wrote for Peter.

• The books of the Bible were written in different places and circumstances:

• Moses wrote during his journey in the wilderness

• Jeremiah wrote in the prison dungeon 

• Daniel wrote in the palace

• Paul wrote while in prison or during his travels 

• Luke wrote while traveling for the Christian ministry

• John wrote during his ministry and on the island of Patmos while serving the punishment of solitary confinement

• David wrote some during the times of war, some others in different circumstances of his life.

• Solomon wrote in a time of peace and prosperity

• The books of the Bible were written in different moods:

• Some wrote with enthusiasm in the spirit of ecstasy

• Some expressed their feelings in times of great despair, sadness, and depression

• Some wrote with certainty in the firmness of faith

• Some wrote struggling with doubts and confusion

• The books of the Bible were written on three different continents, in their entirely different cultures and social ideologies. These three continents are:

• Asia

• Africa

• Europe

• The books of the Bible were written in three different languages:

• Hebrew or Jewish language - which is the language of writings of the Jews, and of almost the whole of the Old Testament.

• Aramaic – which used to be the language of the common people of the Near-East countries – areas of present-day Israel and its surrounding countries; Before King Alexander set out on a conquest of the world from Greece in the 6th century BC. Parts of the Old Testament, such as chapters 2 to 7 of Daniel and most of Ezra from chapters 4 to chapter 7, are in Aramaic.

• Greek – This is the language of writing of almost all of the New Testament, and it was the language of international communications, and also the language of the general public during the time of the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the next article, on the basis of the above facts we will consider the conclusion of the matter. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands."     बाइबल की सबसे प्राचीन पुस्तक, पुराने नियम में अय्यूब की पुस्तक में, जो लगभग 2000 ईस्वी पूर्व में लिखी गई थी, परमेश्वर ने अय्यूब से "समुद्र के सोतों" के विषय में पूछा, "क्या तू कभी समुद्र के सोतों तक पहुंचा है, वा गहिरे सागर की थाह में कभी चला फिरा है?" His inspiration, Holy Writ, Psalm 8:8; Ecclesiastes 1:6”.  ("मैथ्यू फ़ौनटेन मौरे, समुद्र के जल-मार्गों का खोजने वाला, वह अद्भुत प्रतिभाशाली व्यक्ति जिन्होंने सबसे पहले सागर और वायुमंडल से उनके मार्ग और रहस्य छीन लिए। यह करने की उनके प्रेरणा, पवित्र शास्त्र, भजन 8:8; सभोपदेशक 1:6") - उनकी अद्भुत प्रतिभा का रहस्य – वे बाइबल में विश्वास रखने वाले एक सामान्य मसीही विश्वासी थे, जिन्हें परमेश्वर के वचन के सत्य और कभी गलत न होने पर अटूट विश्वास था।

    सर विलियम रैमसे एक बहुत माने हुए बाइबल पुरातत्व वैज्ञानिक हुए, जिनके द्वारा किए गए खोज और बातें आज भी, उनके 100 से भी अधिक वर्ष बाद भी, बाइबल संबंधी पुरातत्व खोजों के लिए पढ़ी और पढ़ाई जाती हैं, और उनके इस कार्य के लिए उन्हें "सर" की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया गया था। अपने समय के अन्य अनेकों पढ़े-लिखे और ज्ञानवान लोगों के समान, उनकी भी धारणा थी कि बाइबल विश्वास योग्य नहीं है, और इसे वह आदर-मान नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए जो दिया जाता है। अपनी धारणा प्रमाणित करने के लिए वे बाइबल संबंधी क्षेत्रों में प्रमाण एकत्रित करने के लिए गए जिससे यह प्रमाणित कर सकें कि बाइबल विश्वासयोग्य नहीं है। उन्होंने जा कर पुरातत्व महत्व के स्थानों पर खुदाई करनी तथा प्रमाण एकत्रित करने आरंभ किए। शीघ्र ही उन्हें एहसास हो गया कि बाइबल में लिखी बातें, छोटे से छोटे विवरण में भी बिल्कुल सटीक और सही हैं, और बाइबल संबंधी उनके पुरातत्व खोज और ज्ञान ने बाइबल के पक्ष में अनेकों प्रमाण उजागर कर दिए। विलियम रैमसे स्वयं इन प्रमाणों से इतने प्रभावित हुए कि वे भी एक मसीही विश्वासी बन गए, उन्होंने बाइबल कॉलेज में दाखिला लिया, मसीही सेवकाई में सम्मिलित हुए, और अपनी खोज के कार्यों से कई पुस्तकें और लेख लिखे, जिन्हें आज भी बहुत सम्मान के साथ देखा और पढ़ा जाता है। बाइबल को झूठ प्रमाणित करने का प्रयास करने वाला व्यक्ति बाइबल के सत्य को प्रमाणित करने वाला मसीही विश्वासी बन गया। वास्तविकता में, ऐसी कोई भी पुरातत्व खोज नहीं है जो बाइबल की किसी भी बात को असत्य प्रमाणित करती हो।

यही बाइबल संसार के अन्त और न्याय के बारे में भी बताती है जब प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को प्रभु यीशु के सामने खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देना होगा, और उसके प्रतिफल लेने होंगे (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। क्या आप इस के लिए तैयार हैं? क्योंकि यह तैयारी केवल इस पृथ्वी के वर्तमान जीवन में ही सम्भव है। बाद में तो आप के किये हुए निर्णयों का निर्वाह ही होगा, उन निर्णयों में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं हो सकेगा। 

    यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Bible - Unique in Inspiring & Guiding Scientific Discoveries 

In the previous article we had considered and understood about a very popular, but absolutely false notion that has been widely spread that the Bible and science are contradictory. How can creation speak against its creator; therefore, how can science, the study of created things, speak against the creator? Today, we will see  some scientific facts and discoveries, which the Bible believing people, because of their faith in the Bible, brought out and placed before us, and confirmed the harmony between the Bible and science. Something amazing and unique, that is not seen anywhere outside the Bible, in any other religious text anywhere in the world.

Centuries before scientists recognized and accepted the importance of Earth's being round, of the water cycle, of isolating infected patients to prevent transmission of infectious diseases, of the importance of hygiene and hand-washing, etc., they had already been written in the Bible, and the people of God were instructed to obey them.

In the oldest book of the Bible, the Book of Job in the Old Testament, which was written around 2000 BC, God asked Job about the "springs of the sea", "Have you entered the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths?” (Job 38:16). These "springs of the ocean" were first observed in 1973 at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge in the deep ocean floor, with water escaping into the ocean; And in 1977 amazing springs of warm water were seen at the bottom of the deep ocean, and their pictures were taken. The well-known journal National Geographic published an article in its November 1979 issue on the "springs of the ocean" existing in these deep ocean floors.

Matthew Fontaine Maury, a Christian officer in the US Navy, noticed written in the Bible, "The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit" (Ecclesiastes 1:6), and "The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas" (Psalm 8:8), and decided that he will trace the pathways mentioned in the Bible, of the wind, the water, and of the creatures of air and water. His tireless efforts and study, and his publication of the currents of air and sea-water flow tremendously helped the sailors to travel and work at sea. After the death of Matthew Fontaine Maury, a monument was erected in his memory, in which the words were carved on a stone plaque: “Mathew Fontaine Maury, Pathfinder of the Seas, the genius who first snatched from the oceans and atmosphere the secret of their laws. His inspiration, Holy Writ, Psalm 8:8; Ecclesiastes 1:6” - the secret of his amazing genius - his being a Bible believer; a simple person who had an unwavering belief in the truth and veracity of God's word.

Charles Whitsholt was also a Bible believing Christian; he was also a Director of Standard Oil Company of America. He was sent by his company to Egypt to find oil - when no one knew that there were oil reserves in Egypt or in the lands of the Middle East Gulf countries; And he did discover oil in Egypt. Charles Whitsholt's belief in the existence of oil in Egypt was based on a Bible verse "But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank" (Exodus 2:3). Charles Whitsholt believed that if a slave woman could find ‘pitch' in Egypt, which came from oil under the earth, it meant that Egypt had oil. His company had full confidence in him because of his Christian character and faith, and the company sent him, based on his faith, to search for oil in Egypt. And on the basis of what was written in the Bible, he discovered and demonstrated the presence of oil in Egypt and the Middle East.

Sir William Ramsey was a highly regarded Bible archaeologist, whose discoveries and sayings are still read and studied today, more than 100 years after him, for Biblical archaeological discoveries he made. For his work, he was awarded the title of "Sir". Like many other well-educated and knowledgeable people of his time, he held the belief that the Bible was unworthy of being believed, and that it should not be given the respect it was being given. To substantiate his belief, he went to the Biblical lands to collect evidence so that he could prove his contention of the Bible being unreliable. He went and started digging at places of archaeological importance and collecting evidence. He soon realized that what was written in the Bible was accurate and correct even in the smallest detail, and his archaeological discoveries and knowledge uncovered numerous pieces of evidence in favor of the Bible. William Ramsey himself was so impressed by the evidence that he became a Christian Believer, enrolled in Bible College, joined the Christian ministry, and wrote many books and articles from his research work, which are seen, read and held with great respect even today. The man who tried to prove the Bible to be false became a Christian and a person who proved the truth of the Bible instead. In fact, there is no archaeological discovery that proves anything in the Bible to be false. 

This same Bible also speaks of the end of the world and time of judgement, when everyone will have to stand before the Lord Jesus to give an account of their lives and receive the rewards and consequences (2 Corinthians 5:10). Are you prepared and ready to face this? For, this preparation can only be done in this present life on earth. After that, the decisions you have made now, will be implemented, no alteration in those decisions will be permitted at that time. 

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
