पवित्र आत्मा से सीखना – 12

प्रत्येक नया जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी को परमेश्वर के द्वारा कुछ सँसाधन दिए गए हैं, और वह उन संसाधनों का भण्डारी है, अपने मसीही जीवन और सेवकाई में उनके सही उपयोग के लिए परमेश्वर को जवाबदेह है। उन सँसाधनों में से एक है परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, जो उसे उसके उद्धार के पल से ही दे दिया जाता है (इफिसियों 1:13-14)। मसीही विश्वासी की देह पवित्र आत्मा का मन्दिर बन जाती है (1 कुरिन्थियों 3:16; 6:19); और पवित्र आत्मा उस में आजीवन निवास करने लगता है। मसीही विश्वासी को पवित्र आत्मा उसका सहायक, साथी, शिक्षक और मार्गदर्शक होने के लिये दिया जाता है। परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, मसीही विश्वासियों को परमेश्वर का वचन भी सिखाता है (यूहन्ना 14:26; 16:13); यदि वे मनुष्यों की बजाए, उस से सीखने के लिए तैयार हों। पिछले लेखों में हमने उन कारणों को देखा था जिनके कारण विश्वासी परमेश्वर के वचन को, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की बजाए, मनुष्यों से सीखना चुनते हैं; और देखा था कि कैसे यह उन्हें झूठी शिक्षाओं और गलत सिद्धान्तों में फँसने के जोखिम में डाल देता है। अब हम 1 पतरस 2:1-2 से देख रहे हैं कि मसीही विश्वासी किस प्रकार से परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से सीख सकता है।

पतरस के इन पदों से हमने देखा है कि विश्वासी को पहले साँसारिक मानसिकता और व्यवहार से बाहर निकलना है, शारीरिक प्रवृत्तियों को त्यागना है। फिर, विश्वासी को अपने में वचन के निर्मल दूध की वास्तविक लालसा, एक तीव्र उत्कंठा उत्पन्न करनी है; तथा परमेश्वर के वचन के नाम पर उसे किसी भी मनुष्य के द्वारा, कुछ भी परोस दिये गए पर अँध-विश्वास नहीं करना है; बल्कि पहले उसे परमेश्वर के वचन से जाँचना और परखना है। जब विश्वासी सच्चे मन से परमेश्वर पर भरोसा करता है, और उससे माँगता है कि उसे निर्मल और मिलावटी, सही और गलत, में अन्तर करने की पहचान दे; जब वह यह आँकलन करने की आदत बना लेता है कि किसी के भी द्वारा कही या प्रचार की गई या सिखाई गई कोई भी बात को ग्रहण करने तथा स्वीकार करने से पहले उसे वचन से जाँच-परख कर देखेगा; और जब वह बाइबल से बाहर की हर बात के लिए प्रश्न करने और उसका तिरस्कार करने (1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21) का साहस दिखाएगा; तब परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा भी उसे सब सत्य का मार्ग बताएगा (यूहन्ना 16:13) और उसमें बढ़ने में उसकी सहायता तथा मार्गदर्शन करेगा, तथा उसे असत्यों से सुरक्षित रखेगा; क्योंकि पवित्र आत्मा का यह भी एक काम है। आज हम इससे आगे देखेंगे और 1 पतरस 2:2 में से “...निर्मल आत्मिक दूध की लालसा करो...” पर और आगे विचार करेंगे।

विश्वासी के अन्दर यह लालसा, यह तीव्र उत्कण्ठा किसी भी, कैसे भी “दूध” के लिए नहीं होनी चाहिए, किन्तु जैसे पतरस ने यहाँ पर लिखा है, केवल “निर्मल दूध” ही के लिए होनी चाहिए। विश्वासियों को कभी इस तथ्य को अनदेखा नहीं करना चाहिए कि शैतान को भी परमेश्वर का वचन आता है, और वह उसके दुरुपयोग के द्वारा लोगों को बहकाना और भरमाना भी जानता है। यहाँ तक कि उसने वचन का अनुचित हवाला और अर्थ देने के द्वारा, प्रभु की परीक्षाओं के समय में, प्रभु को भी बहकाने और भरमाने का प्रयास किया (मत्ती 4:1-11; लूका 4:1-13)। इसी प्रकार से शैतान के दूत भी विश्वासियों को बहका और भरमा सकते हैं, तथा ऐसा करते भी हैं, अपने आप को झूठे प्रेरित और छल से मसीह का काम करने वाले प्रचारक दिखा कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:3, 13-15)। लेकिन एक बात जो शैतान और उसके दूत कभी नहीं करेंगे, वह है परमेश्वर के वचन को उसकी सम्पूर्णता में पूरे सत्य में प्रस्तुत करें; उसे, जैसा वह है, उसका जो अर्थ होना चाहिए, और जिस उद्देश्य के लिए वह दिया गया है, उस रीति से प्रस्तुत करें; क्योंकि ऐसा करने से उनका उद्देश्य ही असफल हो जाएगा। शैतान जानता है कि मनुष्य की समझ और बुद्धि के अनुसार की बातों को वचन में मिलाने से वचन का सन्देश अप्रभावी हो जाता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:17)। इसीलिए वह मनुष्य द्वारा, उसकी अपनी समझ और बुद्धि के अनुसार वचन की शिक्षाओं में मिलावट करवाने के द्वारा, परमेश्वर के वचन की निर्मलता को भ्रष्ट करवाता है। शैतान यह दो तरीकों से करता है – पहला, जान-बूझकर, अपने लोगों के द्वारा जो अपने आप को प्रेरित और प्रभु के सेवक प्रस्तुत करते हैं; और दूसरा, अनजाने में, परमेश्वर के समर्पित प्रतिबद्ध विश्वासियों को बहका कर उन से बाइबल की बातों पर बाइबल से बाहर की रीति के अभिप्रायों के साथ विश्वास करवाता है, फिर उन बातों को औरों पर प्रकट करवाता है, फिर औरों के मानने के लिए उनका प्रचार करवाता उनकी शिक्षा दिलवाता है।

पहले वाले, जान-बूझकर करने के लिए, शैतान के दूत सामान्यतः जो करते हैं, वे परमेश्वर के वचन के अधिकाँश भागों को उसी तरह से प्रस्तुत करते हैं जैसे वे पवित्र शास्त्र में हैं, किन्तु चुपके से उनमें कुछ गलत या बाइबल के बाहर की बातों को मिला देते हैं, और लोग भोलेपन में उस को उसकी सम्पूर्णता में परमेश्वर का सत्य समझकर स्वीकार कर लेते हैं। दूसरे, अनजाने में किये जाने वाले के लिए, शैतान किसी ख्याति प्राप्त और आदरणीय प्रतिबद्ध विश्वासी के द्वारा कुछ भक्तिपूर्ण लगने वाली किन्तु गलत शिक्षाओं को उत्पन्न करने और सिखाने वाला बना देता है; और श्रोता, जो उस परमेश्वर के जन पर पूरा भरोसा रखते हैं, उसकी हर बात मानते हैं, वे उस पर अँध-विश्वास कर के इन गलत शिक्षाओं को भी स्वीकार कर लेते हैं, और परमेश्वर की उस सँतान के साथ उसके श्रोता भी गलतियों में डाल दिए जाते हैं। 

कोई भी समर्पित प्रतिबद्ध विश्वासी किसी भी प्रकार के घमण्ड में पड़ने, उसे मिलने वाली प्रशंसा में बहक जाने, बाइबल की बातों के प्रति अपने ज्ञान और समझ के कारण लापरवाह हो जाने, या अपने आत्मिक जीवन के प्रति निश्चिंत होकर बातों को हलके में लेने के प्रवृत्ति में पड़ने, आदि के द्वारा गलतियों में डाला जा सकता है। कहीं पर भी, कभी भी, कोई भी कमजोरी, और शैतान अवसर को नहीं चूकता है, उसमें चुपके से चला आता है और उसके जीवन में गलत धारणाओं के बीज बो देता है। फिर, कुछ समय के बाद और उपयुक्त अवसर पर उन बीजों की फसल, उस निश्चिंत विश्वासी के द्वारा, उसके प्रचार और शिक्षाओं के माध्यम से, औरों के जीवनों में भी बो दी जाती है। सारे समय वह विश्वासी और अन्य लोग यही समझते और मानते रहते हैं कि वे परमेश्वर की सेवा कर रहे हैं और परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रचार कर रहे हैं सही वचन को ही सिखा रहे हैं; जब कि वास्तव में वे बहकाए और भरमाए गए हैं और परमेश्वर के सत्य के नाम पर झूठी शिक्षाओं पर विश्वास कर रहे हैं, उन गलतियों ही का प्रचार कर रहे हैं और सिखा रहे हैं।

हम अगले लेख में इसके बारे में और आगे देखेंगे; किन्तु चाहे जान-बूझकर किया गया हो, अथवा अनजाने में, परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग को रोकने और सुधारने का एक ही उपाय है – मनुष्यों के ज्ञान पर निर्भर रहने की बजाए परमेश्वर की सामर्थ्य पर भरोसा रखें (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:5)। दूसरे शब्दों में पहले हर बात को परमेश्वर के वचन से जाँच-परख लें, उसकी पुष्टि कर लें, उसके बाद ही उसे स्वीकार करें; चाहे प्रचार करने और सिखाने वाला कोई भी हो, और बात को कितनी भी आकर्षक तथा तर्कपूर्ण रीति से प्रस्तुत क्यों न किया हो।

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Learning From the Holy Spirit – 12

 

Every Born-Again Christian Believer has received some provisions from God, and he is a steward of those provisions, accountable to God for their proper utilization in his Christian life and ministry. One of these is God the Holy Spirit who has been given to him from the moment of his salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14). The body of the Christian Believer becomes the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19); and the Holy Spirit begins to reside in him, for his lifetime. The Holy Spirit is given to the Believer to be his Helper, Companion, Teacher, and Guide. The Holy Spirit teaches God’s Word, the Bible to the Christians Believers (John 14:26; 16:13); provided they are willing to learn from Him, rather than from men. In the previous articles we have seen the reasons why the Believers choose to learn God’s Word from men, rather than from God the Holy Spirit; and how this makes them prone to falling into false teachings and wrong doctrines. We are now seeing through 1 Peter 2:1-2 how the Believer can learn from God the Holy Spirit.

We have seen from these verses from Peter that the Believer first needs to get out of the worldly mentality and behavior; get rid of worldly tendencies of the flesh. Next, the Believer has to develop and maintain a sincere desire, an intense craving, for the pure milk of the Word of God; and not be willing to blindly accept just anything served to him, by any person, as being the Word of God, without first cross-checking it from God’s Word. When the Believer trusts God and sincerely asks Him to give him the discernment between the pure and the impure, between the correct and the incorrect; when he makes it a habit to cross-check everything from the Word of God before accepting anything preached and taught by anybody; when he is willing to accept only the Biblical truth and when he is bold to not only question anything unBiblcal, but also reject it (1 Thessalonians 5:21); then God the Holy Spirit will also help and guide him into all truth (John 16:13) and keep him safe from the untruths, since that is what the Holy Spirit is there for. Today, we will carry on from here and further ponder over, “…desire the pure milk of the word…” from 1 Peter 2:2.

The longing, the intense craving in a child of God must not be just for any “milk,” but as Peter says here, only for the “pure” milk. The Believers should never overlook the fact that even Satan knows God’s word, and knows how to misuse it to beguile people. So much so, that he did not hesitate to try and mislead the Lord by misquoting and misapplying God’s Word even to the Lord, in His temptations (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13). Similarly, Satan’s messengers and followers can, and do lead the Believers astray by presenting themselves as apostles and deceitful preachers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3, 13-15). But the one thing that Satan and his messengers will never do is present God’s Word in its truth in its entirety; present it as it is, in the sense as it ought to be, for the purpose it is meant to be; since doing this will defeat their very purpose. Satan knows that mixing things of man’s understanding and wisdom can render the message of God’s Word ineffective (1 Corinthians 1:17).  Therefore, he gets man to adulterate God’s Word through inserting teachings from man’s own understanding and wisdom into it. Satan gets this done in two ways – firstly, deliberately, through his own people presenting themselves as apostles and workers of the Lord; and secondly, inadvertently, by misleading even the committed Believers into believing, propounding, preaching, and teaching Biblical things in an unBiblical manner.

For the first, the deliberate manner, what the agents of Satan usually do is, they present significant portions of God’s Word, as they are given in the Scriptures, to give their message an appearance of being truthful and Biblical, but subtly mix a few unBiblical things or untruths into it, and the gullible audience will swallow it all, thinking all of it is God’s truth. For the second, the inadvertent misuse and misleading, Satan gets a well known and respected, committed Believer to think of, preach, and teach some seemingly pious but actually erroneous things. And the audience who fully trust and believe in everything that man of God says, also blindly accepts these erroneous teachings; and along with that God’s child, the listeners too are misled into errors. 

A committed Believer can be misled either due to pride, or complacency about Biblical things, or by getting carried away by the adulation he receives, or because of his knowledge and understanding of the Bible taking things for granted in his spiritual life, etc. Any weakness, anywhere, at any time, and Satan does not miss the opportunity of subtly creeping in and sowing the seeds of erroneous beliefs in that person’s life. Then, after sometime and in an appropriate season, the fruits of those seeds are transferred by that unsuspecting child of God into the lives of others as well, through his preaching and teachings. All the time he and others keep thinking and believing that they are serving God, are preaching, and teaching God’s Word; but actually, they have been beguiled into believing, preaching, and teaching false things as God’s truth.

We will look further into this in the next article; but whether for the deliberate, or for the inadvertent misuse of God’s Word, the prevention and cure is the same – not to rely on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:5). In other words, to always cross-check and verify everything from God’s Word before accepting it, no matter who it is, who has preached and taught it, and no matter how appealing and logical it may appear.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

    अभी तक हमने प्रभु-भोज के प्ररूप फसह, जिसका वर्णन निर्गमन 12 में दिया गया है, और फिर नए नियम में सुसमाचारों में दिए गए वर्णनों के द्वारा प्रभु भोज और प्रभु यीशु द्वारा उसे फसह की सामग्री के द्वारा स्थापित करने के बारे में सीखा है। जो विभिन्न बातें अभी तक हमने प्रभु भोज तथा उसमें भाग लेने के बारे में सीखीं हैं, उनमें से कुछ बातें हैं जो बहुत प्रबल रीति से हमारे सामने आई हैं, जो बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं। क्योंकि इन बातों पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया है, इसीलिए शैतान प्रभु की मेज़ के बारे में बहुत सारी गलत शिक्षाएं, गलत धारणाएं, और गलतफहमियाँ ले आया है। ईसाई या मसीही समाज में प्रभु भोज तथा उसमें भाग लेने का अर्थ और मूल्य जाते रहे हैं, यह केवल एक रीति, एक परंपरा बन कर रह गई है। अब इसका निर्वाह, इसके बारे में विभिन्न डिनॉमिनेशंस, समुदायों, और समूहों के धार्मिक अगुवों की समझ के अनुसार, उनके द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों और नियमों के अनुसार किया जाता है। यह प्रवृत्ति आरम्भिक कलीसियाओं में ही आने लग गई थी; जिस प्रकार शैतान ने मसीही विश्वास से सम्बन्धित अन्य बातों के बारे में लोगों को बहकाया और भरमाया था, उसने कलीसीयाओं को प्रभु भोज के बारे में भी बहका और भरमा दिया था। इसीलिए, पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में, प्रेरित पौलुस ने कुरिन्थुस की कलीसिया के नाम लिखी पत्री में, उनमें पाई जाने वाली बहुत सी गलत शिक्षाओं को सुधारने के लिए लिखा, और उन गलत बातों में प्रभु भोज के बारे में भी गलतियाँ थीं। अगले लेख से हम कोरिन्थ की कलीसिया में घुस आई गलतियों के बारे में देखना आरंभ करेंगे। आज हम झूठी शिक्षाओं और गलत सिद्धान्तों से सम्बन्धित कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बातों पर विचार करते हैं।

    अभी तक प्रभु भोज के बारे में जिन गलत शिक्षाओं और गलत सिद्धांतों को हमने देखा है, जिन्हें सुधारे जाने की आवश्यकता है, और जिनका उपयोग शैतान प्रभु भोज के बारे में लोगों को बहकाने के लिए करता है, वे तथा उनसे संबंधित बाइबल के तथ्य ये हैं:

 

* जो कोई प्रभु का नाम ले और उसमें विश्वास करने का दावा करे, वह प्रभु भोज में भाग ले सकता है। बाइबल का तथ्य यह है कि जैसे फसह में केवल इस्राएली, अर्थात परमेश्वर के चुने हुए लोग, तथा वे अन्य-जाति लोग जो अपने आप को परमेश्वर तथा अब्राहम के मध्य बंधी वाचा के अधीन ले आए थे, तथा खतने के द्वारा इसकी गवाही दी थी, वे ही भाग ले सकते थे; उसी प्रकार से केवल नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी, अर्थात प्रभु के प्रति समर्पित और प्रतिबद्ध प्रभु के सच्चे शिष्य ही प्रभु भोज में भाग ले सकते हैं।

* प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने से व्यक्ति परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी और पवित्र हो जाता है, उसके पाप क्षमा हो जाते हैं, वह परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, तथा स्वर्ग में प्रवेश के योग्य बन जाता है। बाइबल का तथ्य यह है कि केवल परमेश्वर के लोगों को ही फसह में भाग लेने का अधिकार था; न कि फसह में भाग लेने से वे परमेश्वर के लोग बन जाते थे। उसी प्रकार से केवल वे ही, जिनके पाप क्षमा हो गए हैं, और जो प्रभु में सच्चे विश्वास तथा अपना जीवन उसे समर्पित करने के द्वारा प्रभु के लोग हो गए हैं, प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग ले सकते हैं। प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने से वे प्रभु के जन, धर्मी, पवित्र, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में जाने के योग्य नहीं बन जाते हैं।

* प्रभु की मेज़ में व्यक्ति अपने डिनॉमिनेशंस, समुदाय, या समूह की रीतियों, परंपराओं और विधियों के अनुसार भाग ले सकते हैं, इन बातों से इसमें भाग लेने पर कोई अंतर नहीं आता है। बाइबल का तथ्य यही है कि परमेश्वर अपनी आराधना की उसके द्वारा दी गई विधि और स्वरूप के प्रति, जो वह अपने वचन में पहले ही दे चुका है, सदा ही बहुत विशिष्ट और जलन रखने वाला रहा है। उसने जो निर्धारित कर के दे दिया है, उसमें वह किसी मनुष्य के द्वारा कोई भी परिवर्तन या “सुधार” सहन अथवा स्वीकार नहीं करता है। उसकी दृष्टि में मनुष्यों द्वारा बनाई गई विधियों से की गई आराधना व्यर्थ है, उसे अस्वीकार्य है, और निष्फल है। यहाँ तक कि जो लोग ऐसे अपने आप को परमेश्वर पर थोपते हैं, और सोचते हैं कि परमेश्वर इसके लिए कुछ नहीं कहेगा, उनके लिए इस बात के बहुत हानिकारक परिणाम भी हो सकते हैं।

    शैतान के अपनी धूर्त युक्तियों और बातों को घुसा कर लोगों को बहका देने का मूल कारण है कि लोगों ने व्यक्तिगत रीति से परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन करने, उसे सीखने और अपने जीवन में उसे लागू करने में रुचि लेना छोड़ दिया है। आज मसीही विश्वासी भी जो कुछ भी परमेश्वर के नाम में पुल्पिट से कह दिया जाता उसे परमेश्वर के वचन से बिना जाँचे-परखे मान लेने और स्वीकार कर लेने में संतुष्ट रहते हैं। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि आजकल कलीसिया के लोग सांसारिक संस्थानों द्वारा दी गई शैक्षिक योग्यताओं और प्रमाण-पत्रों पर अधिक भरोसा करने लग गए हैं, न कि उनके प्रचारक और शिक्षक के, प्रभु यीशु के प्रति समर्पण और प्रतिबद्धता के जीवन के। इसीलिए लोग उसे स्वीकार कर लेने तथा पालन करने की प्रवृत्ति रखते हैं जो उन्हें तर्क पूर्ण रीति से, रोचक और लुभावनी बातों के साथ, और ज्ञान के प्रदर्शन के द्वारा बता दिया जाता है; और वे यह मान कर चलते हैं कि यह सभी परमेश्वर के वचन के अनुसार भी होगा। क्योंकि कोई भी उन बातों और शिक्षाओं को परमेश्वर के वचन से जाँचता-परखता नहीं है, प्रचारक से प्रश्न नहीं करता है, इसीलिए गलत शिक्षाएं न केवल अन्दर आ गई हैं, बल्कि कलीसियाओं में उन्होंने इतनी गहरी पकड़ बना ली है कि आज लोग बाइबल के सत्यों को झूठ, और गलतियाँ करने की प्रवृत्ति रखने वाले मनुष्यों के ज्ञान और बुद्धि से कही गई बातों को सत्य मानने लगे हैं।

    यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं तथा आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है। आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

The Lord’s Table - How & Why Satan Has Been Able to Deceive Christians

 

So far, through the Passover, the antecedent of the Holy Communion described in Exodus 12, and then through the Gospel accounts of the New Testament we have learnt about the Holy Communion, and the Lord’s instituting it using the elements of the Passover. Amongst the various things we have learnt regarding the Holy Communion and participating in it, some things have stood out very strongly, and are very important. Because these things have not been paid attention to, therefore, Satan has been able to bring in many wrong teachings, misconceptions, and misunderstandings about the Lord’s Table. The Holy Communion and participating in it, has lost its purpose and value in Christendom, and has become more of a ritual, a tradition. It is now observed in the manner advocated and taught by religious leaders of denominations, sects, and groups, according to their understanding about it. This trend had started in the initial Churches itself; like for most of the other things related to the Christian Faith, Satan had beguiled and misled the Churches about the Lord’s Table too. That is why, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church for correcting many of the wrong teachings and false doctrines Satan had brought in amongst them, including about the Holy Communion. From the next article we will start considering the wrong concepts and false teachings that had crept into the Church in Corinth. Today we will consider some very important things related to false teachings and wrong doctrines.

The main things, the false teachings and wrong doctrines that Satan uses to beguile people regarding the Holy Communion, which we have seen so far, and which should be corrected, along with their related Biblical facts are:

* Anyone who takes the name of the Lord and claims to believe in the Lord can participate in it. The Biblical fact is like only the Israelites, the chosen people of God, and those gentiles who had brought themselves under the covenant of God with Abraham, and had witnessed for it through getting circumcised could partake of the Passover; similarly, only the Born-Again Christian Believers, the surrendered and committed disciples of the Lord Jesus can participate in the Holy Communion.

* Participating in the Lord’s Table makes one righteous and holy in God’s eyes, it provides forgiveness for their sins, makes them acceptable to God and worthy of entering heaven. The Biblical fact is like it was only the people of God who were permitted to partake of the Passover; their participation did not make them God’s people, but already being God’s people gave them the permission to participate in the Passover. Similarly, participating in the Lord’s Table does not make anyone a person of the Lord; does not make anyone righteous, holy, acceptable to God and worthy of heaven, does not forgive their sins. Rather only those whose sins have been forgiven and who have become the people of the Lord Jesus by sincere faith and surrender to Him, have been given the privilege to participate in the Holy Communion.

* In participating in the Lord’s Table, one can do it according to the rites, rituals, and manner of their denomination, or sect, or group, and it will not matter in anyway. The Biblical fact is that God always has been very particular and jealous for the manner He has already prescribed and given in His Word for people to worship Him. He does not accept any alterations or modifications by any man, in what He has prescribed. Any worship through man-made methods is vain worship in His eyes, is unacceptable to Him, is inconsequential, and could even have deleterious consequences for those who impose themselves upon God, and think that they can get away with it.

 

The basic reason for Satan being able to infiltrate his devious ploys and mislead people away is that people have lost interest in personally studying God’s Word, in learning it and applying it to their lives. Today even the Christian Believers are content with listening to whatever is preached from the pulpit in the name of God, accepting the messages without any questions or cross-checking it from God’s Word. This is because nowadays the congregation trusts the academic qualifications and certificates granted by worldly institutions, instead of the personal commitment and surrender of their preacher and teacher to the Lord Jesus. Therefore, people remain inclined and satisfied with accepting anything seemingly logical, interesting, attractive, and knowledgeable; and assume that it would be according to God’s word as well. Since no one cross-checks and questions the teachings, therefore wrong teachings and false doctrines have not only come in but have taken such strong roots in the Churches, that today people disbelieve Biblical truth, but accept as truth things from the wisdom and knowledge of fallible men.

If you are a Christian Believer and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually a disciple of the Lord, i.e., are redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers, first check and test all teachings that you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

    हमने देखा है कि विश्वासी को पहले साँसारिक मानसिकता से बाहर निकलना है, शारीरिक प्रवृत्तियों को त्यागना है। फिर, विश्वासी को अपने में वचन के निर्मल दूध की वास्तविक लालसा, एक तीव्र उत्कंठा उत्पन्न करनी है; तथा परमेश्वर के वचन के नाम पर उसे कुछ भी परोस दिया जाए उस पर अँध-विश्वास नहीं करना है। जब विश्वासी सच्चे मन से परमेश्वर से माँगता है और उस पर भरोसा करता है कि उसे निर्मल और मिलावटी, सही और गलत, की पहचान दे, जब वह यह आदत बना लेता है कि किसी के भी द्वारा कही या प्रचार की गई या सिखाई गई कोई भी बात को ग्रहण करने तथा स्वीकार करने से पहले उसे वचन से जाँच-परख कर देखेगा, और जब वह बाइबल से बाहर की हर बात के लिए प्रश्न करने और उसका तिरस्कार करने (1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21) का साहस दिखाएगा, तब परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा भी उसे सब सत्य का मार्ग बताएगा (यूहन्ना 16:13) और उसमें बढ़ने में उसकी सहायता तथा मार्गदर्शन करेगा, तथा उसे असत्यों से सुरक्षित रखेगा, क्योंकि पवित्र आत्मा का यह भी एक काम है। आज हम इससे आगे देखेंगे और 1 पतरस 2:2 में से “...निर्मल आत्मिक दूध की लालसा करो...” पर और आगे विचार करेंगे।

    विश्वासी के अन्दर यह लालसा, यह तीव्र उत्कण्ठा किसी भी, कैसे भी “दूध” के लिए नहीं होनी चाहिए, किन्तु जैसे पतरस ने यहाँ पर लिखा है, केवल “निर्मल दूध” ही के लिए होनी चाहिए। विश्वासियों को कभी इस तथ्य को अनदेखा नहीं करना चाहिए कि शैतान को भी परमेश्वर का वचन आता है, और वह उसके दुरुपयोग के द्वारा लोगों को बहकाना और भरमाना भी जानता है। यहाँ तक कि उसने वचन का अनुचित हवाला और अर्थ देने के द्वारा, उसकी परीक्षाओं के समय में, प्रभु को भी बहकाने और भरमाने का प्रयास किया (मत्ती 4:1-11; लूका 4:1-13)। इसी प्रकार से शैतान के दूत भी विश्वासियों को बहका और भरमा सकते हैं, तथा ऐसा करते भी हैं, अपने आप को झूठे प्रेरित और छल से मसीह का काम करने वाले प्रचारक दिखा कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:3, 13-15)। लेकिन एक बात जो शैतान और दूत कभी नहीं करेंगे, वह है परमेश्वर के वचन को उसकी सम्पूर्णता में पूरे सत्य में प्रस्तुत करें; उसे, जैसा वह है, उसका जो अर्थ होना चाहिए, और जिस उद्देश्य के लिए वह दिया गया है, उस रीति से प्रस्तुत करें; क्योंकि ऐसा करने से उनका उद्देश्य ही असफल हो जाएगा। शैतान जानता है कि मनुष्य की समझ और बुद्धि के अनुसार की बातों को वचन में मिलाने से वह अप्रभावी हो जाता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:17)। इसीलिए वह मनुष्य द्वारा, उसकी अपनी समझ और बुद्धि के अनुसार वचन की शिक्षाओं में मिलावट करवाने के द्वारा, परमेश्वर के वचन की निर्मलता को भ्रष्ट करवाता है। शैतान यह दो तरीकों से करता है – पहला, जान-बूझकर, अपने लोगों के द्वारा जो अपने आप को प्रेरित और प्रभु के सेवक प्रस्तुत करते हैं; और दूसरा, अनजाने में, परमेश्वर के समर्पित प्रतिबद्ध विश्वासियों को बहका कर उन से बाइबल की बातों पर बाइबल से बाहर की रीति के अभिप्रायों के साथ विश्वास करवाता है, फिर उन बातों को औरों पर प्रकट करवाता है, फिर औरों के मानने के लिए उनका प्रचार करवाता उनकी शिक्षा दिलवाता है।

    पहले वाले, जान-बूझकर करने के लिए, शैतान के दूत सामान्यतः जो करते हैं, वे परमेश्वर के वचन के अधिकाँश भागों को उसी तरह से प्रस्तुत करते हैं जैसे वे पवित्र शास्त्र में हैं, किन्तु चुपके से उनमें कुछ गलत या बाइबल के बाहर की बातों को मिला देते हैं, और लोग भोलेपन में उस को उसकी सम्पूर्णता में परमेश्वर का सत्य समझकर स्वीकार कर लेते हैं। दूसरे, अनजाने में किये जाने वाले के लिए, शैतान किसी ख्याति प्राप्त और आदरणीय प्रतिबद्ध विश्वासी के द्वारा गलत शिक्षाओं को उत्पन्न करने और सिखाने वाला बना देता है; और श्रोता जो उस परमेश्वर के जन पर पूरा भरोसा रखते हैं, उसकी हर बात मानते हैं, वे उस पर अँध-विश्वास कर के इन गलत शिक्षाओं को भी स्वीकार कर लेते हैं, और परमेश्वर की उस सँतान के साथ उसके श्रोता भी गलतियों में डाल दिए जाते हैं। कोई भी समर्पित प्रतिबद्ध विश्वासी किसी भी प्रकार के घमण्ड में पड़ने, उसे मिलने वाली प्रशंसा में बहक जाने, बाइबल की बातों के प्रति लापरवाह हो जाने, या अपने आत्मिक जीवन के प्रति निश्चिंत होकर बातों को हलके में लेने के प्रवृत्ति में पड़ने, आदि के द्वारा गलतियों में डाला जा सकता है। कहीं पर भी, कभी भी, कोई भी कमजोरी, और शैतान अवसर को नहीं चूकता है, उसमें चुपके से चला आता है और उसके जीवन में गलत धारणाओं के बीज बो देता है। फिर, कुछ समय के बाद और उपयुक्त अवसर पर उन बीजों की फसल, उस निश्चिंत विश्वासी के द्वारा, उसके प्रचार और शिक्षाओं के माध्यम से, औरों के जीवनों में भी बो दी जाती है। सारे समय वह विश्वासी और अन्य लोग यही समझते और मानते रहते हैं कि वे परमेश्वर की सेवा कर रहे हैं और परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रचार कर रहे हैं सही वचन को ही सिखा रहे हैं; जब कि वास्तव में वे बहकाए और भरमाए गए हैं और परमेश्वर के सत्य के नाम पर झूठी शिक्षाओं पर विश्वास कर रहे हैं, उन्हें ही का प्रचार कर रहे हैं और सिखा रहे हैं।

    हम अगले लेख में इसके बारे में और आगे देखेंगे; किन्तु चाहे जान-बूझकर किया गया हो, अथवा अनजाने में, परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग को रोकने और सुधारने का एक ही उपाय है – मनुष्यों के ज्ञान पर निर्भर रहने की बजाए परमेश्वर की सामर्थ्य पर भरोसा रखें (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:5)। दूसरे शब्दों में पहले हर बात को परमेश्वर के वचन से जाँच-परख लें, उसकी पुष्टि कर लें, उसके बाद ही उसे स्वीकार करें; चाहे प्रचार करने और सिखाने वाला कोई भी हो, और बात को कितनी भी आकर्षक तथा तर्कपूर्ण रीति से प्रस्तुत क्यों न किया हो।

Learning from the Holy Spirit – 12

 

    Every Born-Again Christian Believer has received some provisions from God, and he is a steward of those provisions, accountable to God for their proper utilization in his Christian life and ministry. One of these is God the Holy Spirit who has been given to him from the moment of his salvation, to reside in him, and be his Helper, Companion, Teacher, and Guide. The Holy Spirit teaches God’s Word, the Bible to the Christians Believers, provided they are willing to learn from Him, rather than from men. In the previous articles we have seen the reasons why the Believers choose to learn God’s Word from men, rather than God; and how this makes them prone to falling into false teachings and wrong doctrines. We are now seeing through 1 Peter 2:1-2 how the Believer can learn from God the Holy Spirit.

    We have seen that the Believer first needs to get out of the worldly mentality and get rid of worldly behavior of the flesh. Next, the Believer has to develop and maintain a sincere desire, an intense craving, for the pure milk of the Word of God; and not be willing to blindly accept just anything served to him as the Word of God. When the Believer sincerely asks for and trusts God to give him the discernment between the pure and the impure, between the correct and the incorrect, when he makes it a habit to cross-check everything from the Word of God before accepting anything preached and taught by anybody, when he is willing to accept only the Biblical truth and when he is bold to not only question anything unBiblcal but also reject it (1 Thessalonians 5:21), God the Holy Spirit will also help and guide him into all truth (John 16:13) and keep him safe from the untruths, since that is what the Holy Spirit is there for. Today, we will carry on from here and further ponder over, “…desire the pure milk of the word…” from 1 Peter 2:2.

    The longing, the intense craving in a child of God has to be not just for any “milk,” but as Peter says here, only for the “pure” milk. The Believers should never overlook the fact that even Satan knows God’s word, and knows how to misuse it to beguile people। So much so, that he did not hesitate to try and mislead the Lord by misquoting and misapplying God’s Word even to Him, in His temptations (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13). Similarly, Satan’s messengers and followers can, and do lead the Believers astray by presenting themselves as apostles and deceitful preachers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3, 13-15). But the one thing that Satan and his messengers will never do is present God’s Word in its truth in its entirety; present it as it is, in the sense as it ought to be, for the purpose it is meant to be; since doing this will defeat their very purpose. Satan knows that mixing things of man’s understanding and wisdom can render the message of God’s Word ineffective (1 Corinthians 1:17).  Therefore, he gets man to adulterate God’s Word through inserting teachings from his own understanding and wisdom into it. Satan gets this done in two ways – firstly, deliberately, through his own people presenting themselves as apostles and workers of the Lord; and secondly, inadvertently, by misleading even the committed Believers into believing, propounding, preaching, and teaching Biblical things in an unBiblical manner.

    For the first, the deliberate manner, what the agents of Satan usually do is, they present significant portions of God’s Word, as they are given in the Scriptures, to give their message an appearance of being truthful and Biblical, but subtly mix a few unBiblical things or untruths into it, and the gullible audience will swallow it all, thinking it is God’s truth. For the second, the inadvertent misuse and misleading, Satan gets a well known and respected, committed Believer to think of, preach, and teach erroneous things. And the audience who fully trust and believe in everything that man of God says, also blindly accept these erroneous teachings, and along with that God’s child they too are misled into errors. A committed Believer can be misled either due to pride, or complacency about Biblical things, or by getting carried away by the adulation he receives, or by taking things for granted in his spiritual life, etc. Any weakness, anywhere, at any time, and Satan does not miss the opportunity of subtly creeping in and sowing the seeds of erroneous beliefs in that person’s life. Then, after sometime and in an appropriate season, the fruits of those seeds are transferred by that unsuspecting child of God into other’s lives as well through his preaching and teachings. All the time he and others keep thinking and believing that they are serving God, are preaching, and teaching God’s Word; but actually, they have been beguiled into believing, preaching, and teaching false things as God’s truth.

    We will look further into this in the next article, but whether for the deliberate, or for the inadvertent misuse of God’s Word, the prevention and cure is the same – not to rely on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:5). In other words, to always cross-check and verify everything from God’s Word before accepting it, no matter who it is who has preached and taught it, and no matter how appealing and logical it may appear.

    If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

    इस शान्ति पूर्ण जीवन और परमेश्वर के साथ उनकी संगति को छिन-भिन्न करने के लिए शैतान ने एक बहुत साधारण और सीधी कार्यविधि का प्रयोग किया। बजाए इसके कि उन्हें विचार करने देता कि परमेश्वर ने उन्हें तैयार करके मुफ्त में क्या कुछ दे दिया है, बजाए इसके कि मनुष्य को परमेश्वर के प्रति उस सब के लिए जो उसने तैयार करके उपलब्ध करवा दिया है धन्यवादी और कृतज्ञ होने दे, उस सब की देखभाल करे जैसा परमेश्वर ने उससे कहा, और उसे परमेश्वर की महिमा के लिए इस्तेमाल करे, शैतान ने उन दोनों के मनों में उस बात को डाला कि परमेश्वर ने उन्हें क्या नहीं दिया है; और उनके ध्यान को उस पर लगाए रखने की बजाए जो मिला है, उस ओर मोड़ दिया, जो उन्हें नहीं मिला है। एक बार शैतान ने आदम और हव्वा के ध्यान को परमेश्वर के प्रावधानों से मोड़ दिया, उसके बाद उन्होंने परमेश्वर से यह पूछने और जानने का भी प्रयास नहीं किया कि जो उन्हें नहीं दिया गया है, क्या वह आवश्यक भी है, क्या उसकी कोई उपयोगिता भी है? जब संसार में कुछ बुरा था ही नहीं, सब कुछ बहुत अच्छा था (उत्पत्ति 1:31), तो भले और बुरे के ज्ञान को प्राप्त करने के द्वारा आदम और हव्वा को क्या अतिरिक्त लाभ मिल सकता था? शैतान ने इस कार्यविधि, कि परमेश्वर ने उन्हें क्या नहीं दिया है, के द्वारा हव्वा को बहकाया, और उसमें परमेश्वर के समान भले और बुरे के ज्ञान को रखने की लालसा उत्पन्न की। इसके बाद शैतान ने उसके मन में यह डाला कि यदि वह उसकी सलाह का पालन करे तो उसे अभी भी वह सब मिल सकता है, और वह अपने स्तर को बढ़ा कर परमेश्वर के समान कर सकती है। एक बार शैतान ने यह बीज उसके मन में बो दिया, तो उसके बाद उसे फिर अकेला नहीं छोड़ा, उसे बातों में लगाए रखा, उसे विचार करने, आदम से उसके बारे में चर्चा करने, या परमेश्वर के आने और फिर उससे पूछने की प्रतीक्षा करने का समय ही नहीं दिया। और आज भी शैतान इसी कार्यविधि के द्वारा मनुष्य को बहकाता और गिराता है, मनुष्य के मन में डालता है कि उसके पास यह नहीं है, वह नहीं है, और उन्हें उकसाता है कि जो उसके पास नहीं है वह सब उसके लिए कितना आवश्यक है, और उन्हें तब तक नहीं छोड़ता है जब तक कि वे उन बातों को पाने की लालसा करने की उसकी चाल में फँस नहीं जाते हैं।

    थोड़ा रुक कर उपभोक्ता वस्तुओं और सौन्दर्य प्रसाधनों से संबंधित विज्ञापनों और उत्पादन के बारे में विचार कीजिए – क्या यह इसी कार्यविधि पर आधारित नहीं है? आप को निरन्तर यह एहसास करवाया जाता है कि उन वस्तुओं, उन बातों के बारे में सोचें जो आपके पास होनी चाहिए थीं किन्तु आपको नहीं दी गई हैं, जो आपके पड़ौसियों, या सहकर्मियों, या रिश्तेदारों के पास हैं, लेकिन आप के पास नहीं हैं। वह सब जो आप पाना चाहते हैं किन्तु आप को पता नहीं है कि कैसे प्राप्त करें, और जिन्हें पा लेने के बाद आप यदि उन से बेहतर नहीं तो कम से कम उनके समान तो हो ही जाएँगे। क्या संपूर्ण विज्ञापन उद्योग और उपभोक्ता वस्तुओं का उद्योग क्या इसी एक कार्यविधि पर आधारित और चलाया जाने वाला नहीं है? एक बार ज़ोर देकर निरन्तर दिखाए जा रहे विज्ञापनों के द्वारा जब शैतान इन नाशमान और भौतिक वस्तुओं की लालसा के बीज हम में बो देता है, उसके बाद फिर वह हम में उसके कहे के अनुसार कर के उन्हें प्राप्त करने की लालसा और प्रयासों में भी डाल देता है। और यह परमेश्वर के साथ हमारे समय और संगति, और फिर अन्ततः हमारे अनन्तकाल की कीमत पर होता है।

    यदि हम समय रहते सच को नहीं पहचानते हैं, अपने पापों से पश्चाताप नहीं करते हैं और इन बातों के लिए प्रभु से क्षमा, तथा परमेश्वर से मेल-मिलाप और उसकी संतान होने का दर्जा नहीं माँगते हैं, तो इन भौतिक और नाशमान बातों को पाने की लालसा में हम अपने अनन्तकाल के लाभ और जीवन की हानि उठाते हैं। एक बार यदि हम शैतान की इस कार्यविधि, इस युक्ति को समझ लें, तो फिर यह देखना और समझना कठिन नहीं है कि किस प्रकार से शैतान ने इसी युक्ति का प्रयोग महिलाओं में पुल्पिट का प्रयोग करने और पास्टर होने जिम्मेदारियों को निभाने की लालसा रखने के लिए किया है – उन बातों के लिए जिनकी अनुमति परमेश्वर ने अपने वचन में उन्हें प्रदान नहीं की है। किन्तु शैतान उन स्त्रियों के मन में यही डालता है कि उन्हें सर्वोत्तम और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण वरदान से वंचित रखा गया है, और उन्हें कभी उन विशिष्ट वरदानों और योग्यताओं के बारे में सोचने नहीं देता है जो परमेश्वर ने उन्हें उसके राज्य और महिमा के लिए दीं हैं, जो पुरुषों को कभी मिल नहीं सकती हैं और न पुरुष कभी उन्हें उपयोग कर सकते हैं। हम इसके बारे में और अधिक अपने अगले लेख में देखेंगे।

According to the Bible, Do Women Have the Permission to Serve as Pastors and Preach from the Pulpit in the Church?

Part 2 – Satan’s Strategy

 

    Please see from Genesis chapters 1 and 2. God had first created the earth, made it inhabitable for man, brought all the vegetation and animal life into existence, once everything required for man’s existence was in place, it was then that God created man with His own hands. God then planted the special Garden of Eden for man, gave man charge of it, and except for the Tree of Good and Evil, and the Tree of Life, man could eat the fruit of every tree. Then, to give Adam company, God made Eve to be his helper and stay with him. Nothing was lacking for them; God used to fellowship with both of them; there was perfect peace on earth, there was no sin, there were no problems. All that Adam and Eve ever needed was easily and abundantly made available to them.

    Satan’s Strategy to disrupt this peaceful existence and fellowship with God was simple and straightforward. Instead of allowing man to think about all that God had prepared for him and freely given it to him, instead of letting man be thankful to God for all that He had provided, take care of it as God had asked him to do, utilize it for his own benefit and God’s glory, Satan put into their mind what God had not given them; and diverted their attention from what had been given into thinking about what God has not given. Once Satan turned their attention away from God’s provisions, Adam and Eve did not bother to think or learn from God about what had not been given, was it at all necessary; did it have any utility? When there was no evil on earth at that time, and everything was very good (Genesis 1:31), what additional gain or advantage would Adam and Eve have by knowing about good and evil? Satan misled Eve through this strategy; putting into her heart, what God has not given, enticed her to desire to be like God and learn about knowing about good and evil. Satan then put into her heart that she can still have it all by following his advice, and thereby raise her status to be like God. Once Satan had planted this seed in her mind, he did not leave her alone, he kept her engaged in conversation with him, did not allow her time to think it over, or confer with Adam about it, or wait till God came to meet them and ask Him about it. And even today Satan beguiles man through this same strategy, puts into their heart and draws their attention to what they have not been given, gets them into pondering about all that they are missing, makes them feel how necessary for them are the things that have not been given to them, and does not leave them till they fall for his devious devices.

    Think over all the advertising for the various consumer and cosmetic products – is it not based on this very strategy? Keep making you think of all that you should be having, all that has not been given to you, all that you neighbor or colleague or family member has, but you don’t. All that you can acquire but don’t know how, and how by acquiring it you will become equal, if not better than them. The whole Advertising and Consumer Products business is built and operated on this very strategy. Once, through forceful and relentless advertising, these seeds are sown in us, then Satan gets us working to acquire these temporal and perishing worldly things and achievements through his advice, at the cost of our time and fellowship with God, and eventually our eternity.

    If we don’t realize the truth in time repent of our sins, ask for the Lord Jesus to forgive us, and reconcile us with God, to be His child for eternity, for the sake of temporal gains, we end up losing our eternal life and benefits. Once we understand Satan’s this strategy, it is not difficult to see how he also uses the same strategy to beguile women into desiring the pulpit and pastoral responsibilities – things that God has not permitted for them in His Word. But Satan makes them feel as if they have been deprived and cheated of the most important and the best gift, never letting them think about all the unique gifts that God has exclusively given to them instead, to be used for His glory and Kingdom; gifts and abilities that no man can ever have – they are the unique privilege of women only. We will see more about this in our next article.
