निर्गमन 12:14 (8) - प्रभु की मेज़ - भावी आशीषों का आश्वासन
हम प्रभु भोज के बारे में अध्ययन कर रहे हैं, जिसे प्रभु यीशु ने अपने शिष्यों के लिए स्थापित किया था, शिष्यों के साथ फसह का भोज खाते समय, फसह के भोज की सामग्री में से लेकर, जिससे कि प्रभु के वापस आने के समय तक उनके पास उसकी यादगार के लिए कुछ हो। समय के साथ जब प्रभु, उसके वचन, उसकी सेवकाई के प्रति लोगों का आरंभिक जोश और लगन फीकी पड़ने लगी, तब शैतान ने बड़े हल्के से, चतुराई और धोखे के साथ, प्रभु के निर्देशों के स्थान पर रीतियाँ, परम्पराएं, अनुष्ठान, और त्यौहार घुसा दिए। ये सभी प्रभु के नाम में तो थे, किंतु न तो उसके वचन में से थे, और न ही प्रभु की इच्छा के अनुसार या प्रभु के वचन अनुसार थे। जो कुछ भी शैतान परमेश्वर के द्वारा दिए गए निर्देशों का स्थान ले लेने के लिए ले कर आया था वह सभी या तो किसी मनुष्य की इच्छा और कल्पना से था (चाहे वह मनुष्य कोई धार्मिक अगुवा ही रहा हो जो पवित्र शास्त्र का ज्ञानी भी रहा हो), या फिर अन्यजाति-मूर्तिपूजकों और आस-पास के संसार से लिया गया था, जिसे फिर कुछ फेर-बदल के साथ “ईसाई” या “मसीही” स्वरूप दे दिया गया। शैतान ऐसा सरलता से करने पाया क्योंकि लोगों के अन्दर परमेश्वर के वचन की भूख नहीं रही थी, उन्हें व्यक्तिगत बाइबल अध्ययन में, उसका पालन करने में, और उसे अपने जीवन में लागू करने में कोई रुचि नहीं रही थी। अब तो वे बस इसी से संतुष्ट थे कि कोई उन्हें परमेश्वर के नाम में पुल्पिट से कुछ बता दे, और फिर वे बिना बाइबल से उसकी जाँच-परख किए, उसकी पुष्टि किए उसे स्वीकार कर लें, उसका पालन करने लगें। क्योंकि शैतान और उसकी गलत व्याख्याओं और परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग के द्वारा लाई गई बातों को चुनौती देने के लिए शायद ही कोई खड़ा होता था, इसलिए उसकी गलत शिक्षाएं, झूठे सिद्धान्त, और बाइबल की बातों के शैतानी अर्थ, मसीहियत में धर्म और धार्मिक बातों के रूप में बहुत गहराई से जड़ पकड़ चुके हैं, बैठ गए हैं। शैतान ने परमेश्वर के हर निर्देश को भ्रष्ट कर दिया है, बिगाड़ कर बदल दिया है, लेकिन फिर भी लोग उसके द्वारा भ्रष्ट किए हुए वचन का पालन करने के प्रति अधिक प्रतिबद्ध हैं, बजाए परमेश्वर के वचन से उसके सही निर्देशों को सीखें और जानें, तब उसका पालन करें। लोग अब मनुष्यों की बातों का पालन करने में और मनुष्यों को प्रसन्न करने वाले होने में अधिक विश्वास रखते हैं, न कि परमेश्वर की बातों को जानने और उनका पालन करने में। शैतान ने उनको मनों में बाइबल के विपरीत की इस गलत और शैतानी शिक्षा को बैठा दिया है कि यदि वे परमेश्वर के नाम में कुछ रीतियों और परंपराओं का पालन करते रहेंगे, तो वे परमेश्वर के प्रति सही, उसे स्वीकार्य तथा स्वर्ग में जाने के योग्य भी रहेंगे। अपनी इस धूर्तता के द्वारा वह अनगिनत लोगों को अपने साथ अनंतकाल के लिए नरक में लिए जा रहा है, वे अपने अंधेपन में उसकी बातों का पालन करते हुए अपने अनंत विनाश की ओर बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। जिस प्रकार से शैतान ने परमेश्वर की अन्य बातों को भ्रष्ट किया है, उसने प्रभु भोज को भी भ्रष्ट कर रखा है; और हम इस अध्ययन में बाइबल से, पुराने नियम में दिए गए उसके प्ररूप फसह से संबंधित निर्देशों के द्वारा, प्रभु की मेज़ से संबंधित बातों को देख और सीख रहे हैं।
प्रभु की मेज़ से संबंधित अपने इस अध्ययन के आरंभ में हमने कहा था कि हम इसका अध्ययन तीन भागों में करेंगे:
1. निर्गमन 12:1-14 फसह के भोज के बलिदान का मेमना और उसका खाया जाना
2. निर्गमन 12:15-20 फसह के भोज से संबंधित नियम
3. निर्गमन 12:40-49 फसह के भोज में भाग लेने वाले
आज के इस अध्ययन में हम अपने पहले खण्ड, निर्गमन 12:14, के अंत में पहुँच गए हैं। उस छुटकारे के अनुभव में से, जिसमें से होकर वे इस्राएली तब निकले थे, परमेश्वर ने “सदा की विधि” के द्वारा उसे एक यादगार का पर्व, “स्मरण दिलाने वाला” बना दिया, जिसे इस्राएलियों की पीढ़ियों को मनाते रहना था। परमेश्वर ने जब उनसे, मूसा में होकर यह बात कही थी, तब तक छुटकारे की यह घटना घटित नहीं हुई थी, किन्तु परमेश्वर ने अपनी योजनाओं और बातों के अटल और अपरिवर्तनीय होने की पुष्टि के लिए उन से इसे हमेशा मनाए जाने के लिए एक पर्व भी ठहरा दिया। जिस काम को उस समय उन लोगों को जल्दी में करना था, सीधे आग पर पकाए गए मेमने में से खाना था, बिना उसके साथ उसे कुछ स्वादिष्ट बनाने की वस्तु के उपयोग किए, बल्कि अखमीरी रोटी और कड़वे साग-पात के साथ खाना था, इस एक बार की तकलीफ के बाद, उनके लिए तथा उनकी आने वाली सभी पीढ़ियों के लिए परमेश्वर ने उसी को एक उत्सव, एक भोज में परिवर्तित कर दिया, कि उसमें होकर वे परमेश्वर द्वारा उनके लिए लाए गए छुटकारे को स्मरण रखें। और यह उत्सव, यह भोज, केवल उन लोगों या तब विद्यमान पीढ़ी के लिए नहीं था, वरन उनकी सभी भावी पीढ़ियों के लिए था। क्योंकि वे परमेश्वर के चुने हुए लोग थे, उनकी पीढ़ियों का कभी कोई अंत नहीं होना था, इसलिए इस उत्सव, इस भोज का भी कभी कोई अंत नहीं होना था। परमेश्वर के लोगों के द्वारा कुछ घंटों की असुविधा और समस्याओं का झेलना, परमेश्वर ने अपने लोगों और उनकी पीढ़ियों के लिए अनन्तकाल के उत्सव और भोज में बदल दिया।
किन्तु यहाँ पर, इस पद में, एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण और मुख्य वाक्यांश है। यद्यपि यह एक यादगार, एक उत्सव, एक भोज होना था, किन्तु इसे वैसा नहीं होना था जैसा संसार और संसार के लोग किसी यादगार, उत्सव, और भोज को मनाते हैं। परमेश्वर ने विशेषतः कहा, “तुम उसको यहोवा के लिये पर्व कर के मानना।” इसे मनुष्य या संसार के अनुसार भोज नहीं होना था, वरन परमेश्वर के आदर और उसकी महिमा के लिए, उसने जो उनके लिए किया था, उसका धन्यवाद करने के लिए मनाया जाना था।
जब भी हम किसी व्यक्ति के आदर के लिए किसी उत्सव को आयोजित करते हैं, किसी महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति, या किसी उच्च पदाधिकारी, या किसी उच्च प्रशासनिक अधिकारी के लिए, उसकी सराहना करने, किसी बात के लिए उसका धन्यवाद करने के लिए, तो हम विशेष ध्यान रखते हैं कि वह आयोजन, वह उत्सव उस व्यक्ति की पसंद-नापसंद की बातों का ध्यान रखते हुए आयोजित किया जाए। यदि वह व्यक्ति उस आयोजन के विषय हमें पहले से ही कुछ निर्देश देता है, तो हम यह सुनिश्चित करते हैं कि उसके उन निर्देशों का बहुत ध्यान और बारीकी से पालन किया जाए; उनकी कोई अवहेलना, उनमें कोई परिवर्तन, किसी बात में उसके निर्देशों के स्थान पर किसी अन्य बात का डाला जाना न हो जाए। हम इस बात के प्रति बहुत सजग और सावधान रहते हैं कि यदि हमने उस व्यक्ति की पसन्द-नापसन्द का ध्यान नहीं रखा, उसके निर्देशों का पालन नहीं किया, किन्तु उनके स्थान पर अपनी ही बातें डाल दीं, तो हम उसका निरादर कर देंगे, यह उसका अपमान करना, उसे छोटा करना होगा। इसलिए हम बहुत ध्यान रखते हैं कि हम उसे किसी भी प्रकार से अप्रसन्न न करें, कहीं हमें उसके क्रोध का सामना करना पड़ जाए; और हमारा आयोजित यह उत्सव आदर देने के स्थान पर उससे क्रोध और ताड़ना का आने कारण न बन जाए। यदि हम मनुष्यों के लिए यह कर सकते हैं, तो क्या हमें राजाओं के राजा, प्रभुओं के प्रभु, हमारे छुटकारा और उद्धार देने वाले प्रभु परमेश्वर के लिए यही व्यवहार, और भी अधिक सावधानी तथा परिश्रम से नहीं करना चाहिए?
प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने अपने शिष्यों के लिए प्रभु भोज आयोजित करने के द्वारा, हमें पाप और शैतानी शक्तियों से छुड़ाए जाने का उत्सव मनाने के लिए दिया है, जब तक कि परमेश्वर का राज्य न आ जाए, प्रभु न आ जाए (लूका 22:18; 1 कुरिन्थियों 11:26)। उसने हमारे थोड़े समय के हल्के से क्लेश को अनन्तकाल के छुटकारे और आनन्द के उत्सव में बदल दिया है (2 कुरिन्थियों 4:17); जब हम इसे उसके साथ परमेश्वर के राज्य में मनाएंगे और खाएंगे (लूका 22:15-16)। लेकिन हमें बहुत ही सावधान और सचेत रहना है कि हम इसे “यहोवा के लिये पर्व कर के” मनाएं। अर्थात, हम इसमें शैतान द्वारा मनुष्यों में होकर बनाई और मिलाई गई रीतियों और प्रथाओं, या किसी समुदाय अथवा डिनॉमिनेशन की परंपराओं के अनुसार नहीं, वरन जैसा परमेश्वर ने कहा और निर्देश दिया है उसके अनुसार भाग लेना है; इसलिए यह अनिवार्य है कि हम परमेश्वर के वचन से उसकी बातों, उसकी इच्छा को जानें और पूरा करें।
जब तक हम परमेश्वर के साथ व्यक्तिगत बाइबल अध्ययन और प्रार्थना में बिताए गए समय के द्वारा संगति और सहभागिता नहीं करेंगे, तब तक हम किसी भी बात के बारे में परमेश्वर की इच्छा और निर्देशों को जानने नहीं पाएंगे, न कभी उसकी पसन्द-नापसन्द को जानने पाएंगे। यदि हमारे पास परमेश्वर के साथ बिताने और उसके वचन का अध्ययन करने के लिए समय नहीं होगा, तो फिर बिना हमारे जाने और पहचाने, चुपके से शैतान हमारा मूर्ख बना देगा, हम में होकर परमेश्वर का उपहास करेगा, अपनी गलत शिक्षाओं और झूठे सिद्धांतों से हमें भर देगा, हमें अपने पीछे ले चलेगा, अपनी सेवा करवाने लगेगा, और हम इसी धोखे में जीते रहेंगे कि हम परमेश्वर की सेवा कर रहे हैं, उसकी इच्छा पूरी कर रहे हैं। जब तक कि हम पूर्ण रीति से परमेश्वर को समर्पित और उसके प्रति प्रतिबद्ध, उसके आज्ञाकारी, नहीं हो जाते हैं, अपने आप को उसकी वेदी पर अर्पित नहीं कर देते हैं, हम कभी उसकी इच्छा जानने वाले नहीं बन पाएंगे (रोमियों 12:1-2)। यह समर्पण, प्रतिबद्धता, और आज्ञाकारिता ही प्रभु का शिष्य होने की पहचान और अर्थ है; यही नया जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी होना है। और जो लोग इस रीति से प्रभु के लोग बन गए हैं, उनके लिए प्रभु भोज, या प्रभु की मेज़, एक अनन्तकालीन उत्सव और आनन्द के मनाए जाने का आश्वासन है।
ये सभी बातें स्पष्ट दिखाती हैं कि प्रभु भोज में भाग लेना उनके लिए नहीं है जो इसे एक धार्मिक रीति या औपचारिकता के समान लेते हैं, किन्तु उनके लिए है जिन्होंने स्वेच्छा से प्रभु के योग्य जीवन बिताने उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में चलने का निर्णय लिया है, और इसके लिए कीमत चुकाने के लिए भी तैयार है। अगले लेख में हम निर्गमन 12 में से यहीं से आगे देखेंगे। यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु में एक नई सृष्टि बन गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप कलीसिया में विभाजनों और गुटों में बांटने में नहीं किन्तु एकता के साथ रहने में प्रयासरत रहते हैं कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु की मेज़ में उसी प्रकार से भाग ले रहे हैं जैसे परमेश्वर ने निर्देश दिये हैं, प्रभु के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ, बड़ी गंभीरता से मेज़ के महत्व पर मनन करते हुए; या फिर आप किसी डिनॉमिनेशन की परंपरा अथवा किसी के मनमाने विचारों के अनुसार भाग ले रहे हैं? अपने आप को जांच कर देखें कि क्या आप प्रभु के सामने खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देने के लिए तैयार हैं कि नहीं? आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा निरंतर परिपक्वता में बढ़ते जाएं। साथ ही सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Exodus 12:14 (8) - The Lord’s Table - An Assurance of Future Blessings
We have been studying about the Holy Communion, established by the Lord Jesus for His disciples, while eating the Passover feast with His disciples, using the elements of the Passover meal, so that they can have a remembrance of Him till He comes again. Over time, as the initial zeal and fervor for the Lord, His Word, His ministry wore off, Satan subtly, cunningly, and deviously replaced the Lord’s instructions with rituals, traditions, ceremonies, and festivals, all in the name of the Lord God, but not from His Word, nor in the Lord’s will or according to Him. Everything that Satan brought in to replace what the Lord had given, came in either as a product of man’s imagination and desire (even if that man was a religious leader or elder, and well versed in the Scriptures), or was borrowed from pagans and the world around, then suitably modified to give it a “Christian” appearance. Satan could easily do this since people had lost their appetite for God’s Word, for personally studying it, obeying it, and applying it in their lives. Instead, they had become content and satisfied with other men telling it to them from the pulpit, and their following whatever was told to them without cross-checking and verifying it from the Bible. Since there was hardly anyone left to challenge Satan and his devious misinterpretations and misuse of God’s Word, wrong teachings, false doctrines, and satanic interpretations have become rampant and deeply entrenched in Christianity, in the garb of religion and religiosity. Satan has corrupted and altered every instruction of God, and yet people are more committed about following his aberrations of God’s instructions and Word, than learning the truth from God and following it; people prefer to be followers of men and men-pleasers, than follow God, and be God-pleasers. Satan has embedded into them his unBiblical and devious ploy, that so long as they keep fulfilling certain rituals and traditions in the name of God, they will be okay with God, be acceptable to Him, and worthy of going to heaven. Through this ploy, he is leading many to be in hell with him for eternity, as they blindly follow him to their eternal destruction. As Satan has corrupted other things, he has also corrupted the Holy Communion, and we have been looking at Biblical teachings about it, from its Old Testament antecedent, the Passover.
At the beginning of our study of the Lord’s Table, we had said that we will be looking it up in three sections:
Exodus 12:1-14 The Lamb of the Passover meal and it’s being eaten
Exodus 12:15-20 The Ordinance of the Passover meal
Exodus 12:40-49 The Partakers of the Passover meal
In today’s study we have come to the end of the first section, to Exodus 12:14. From the deliverance event that the then Israelites experienced, God through “an everlasting ordinance” turned it into a memorial feast, to be celebrated by the Israelites “throughout your generations.” When God said this to them, through Moses, the event had not yet happened, but God, as confirmation of His eternal, irrevocable plans, has already told them to use it as an eternal memorial “feast” - what that generation, those set of people, at that time had to do hurriedly, had to eat a lamb directly roasted on fire without any savory additions or condiments, with unleavened bread and bitter-herbs, after this once, they and their subsequent generations, will celebrate as a “feast”, as a memorial to celebrate their deliverance brought about by God. This celebration, this memorial was not just for the generation of the people of that time, but was to be for all their generations. Since, as God’s chosen people, they would never have an end to their generations, and this memorial feast too would never have an end. A few hours of facing troubling and problematic experiences suffered by His people, were turned by God into an everlasting memorial and feast for all times, for His people.
But there is a very important and key phrase here, in this verse. While this was to be a memorial, a feast, but it was not to be a feast according to the way the world celebrates a memorial. God expressly says, “you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord.” It was not to be a feast according to man and the ways of the world, but for the honor and glory of God, a way of thanking Him for what He has done for them.
Whenever we organize and celebrate any event to honor a particular person, some dignitary or high-ranking official or administrator, to express our appreciation of him, to thank him for something, then we take special care and make sure that everything in that event and celebration is according to the likes and preferences of that person. If the person has given us certain instructions about the celebration, we make sure that those instructions are minutely followed, there is no breach, no alteration, no substitution with anything else. We are very conscious of the fact that by ignoring that person’s likes and dislikes, by disregarding his instructions and substituting them with our own, we will be dishonoring him, insulting and belittling him and are very conscientious that we do not displease him in any way, lest we offend him and incur his wrath, and what was meant to be a celebration to honor him, becomes a cause for our having to suffer his anger and retribution. If we can be doing this for men, should we not be doing the same, and much more diligently and carefully for the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, our Savior and Redeemer Lord God?
The Lord Jesus, in instituting the Holy Communion for His disciples, has given us a celebration of deliverance from sin and satanic forces, to be observed, until the Kingdom of God comes, till He comes (Luke 22:18; 1 Corinthians 11:26). He has turned our light momentary affliction into an eternal celebration of redemption and joy (2 Corinthians 4:17); when we will be eating and celebrating it with Him in God’s Kingdom (Luke 22:15-16). But we have to be very careful and discreet that we partake of the Lord’s Table “as a feast to the Lord.” In other words, we do not continue with the satanic deceptions that have been brought in as man-made rituals and methods, as denominational practices, into this sacrament, but learn from the Word of God, what the Lord wants, and partake in it accordingly. Unless we spend time in fellowship with the Lord through personal Bible study and prayer, we will never get to learn God’s will and instructions about things, nor will we know His likes and dislikes. If we do not have time for fellowshipping with God and studying His Word, then, even without our realizing it, Satan will make a fool out of us, mock God through us, fill us with his wrong teachings and false doctrines, make us follow them and serve him, while we presume that we are serving God and doing His will. Unless we totally submit to the Lord God, offer ourselves up as a sacrifice on His altar, we will never get to learn His will (Romans 12:1-2). This submission, surrender, and obedience to the Lord is what being a disciple of the Lord Jesus, a Born-Again Christian Believer means; and for those who have become the people of the Lord in this manner, the Holy Communion, the Lord’s Table is an assurance of eternal joy and celebration for them.
All these things show that participating in the Holy Communion is not for those who take it as a religious ritual or formality to be carried out perfunctorily, but is for those who willingly have chosen to live worthy of the Lord, in obedience to His Word, and are willing to pay the price for doing so. If you are a Christian Believer, and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word, are a new creation for the Lord. That you strive for unity, not divisions and factionalism in the Church, and have been participating as the Lord has instructed to be done, participating with full allegiance to the Lord, in all seriousness, and pondering over its significance; instead of doing it in any presumptive manner, or simply as a denominational ritual; and are ready and prepared to stand before the Lord and answer for your life. It is also necessary for you to be spiritually mature, learn the right teachings of God’s Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers first check and test all teachings you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
