    हम पिछले लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डाली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है; जो कुछ भी वचन में पहले से नहीं दिया गया है, वह सब झूठ है और उनका प्रचार करने वाले शैतानी भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को सिखाने वाले हैं।

    पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखने के बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखना आरंभ किया है। हम देख चुके हैं कि प्रत्येक सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी के नया जन्म या उद्धार पाते ही, तुरंत उसके उद्धार पाने के पल से ही परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संपूर्णता में आकर उसके अंदर निवास करने लगता है, और उसी में बना रहता है, उसे कभी छोड़ कर नहीं जाता है; और बाइबल के अनुसार इसी को पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा पाना भी कहते हैं। वचन स्पष्ट है कि जैसा ये लोग प्रचार करते और सिखाते हैं, उसके विपरीत, पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या उससे बपतिस्मा पाना कोई दूसरा या अतिरिक्त अनुभव नहीं है, वरन उद्धार के साथ ही सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा का आकर निवास करना ही है। इन गलत शिक्षकों की एक और बहुत प्रचलित और बल पूर्वक कही जाने वाले बात है “अन्य-भाषाओं” में बोलना, और उन लोगों के द्वारा “अन्य-भाषाओं” को अलौकिक भाषाएं बताना, और परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग के द्वारा इससे संबंधित कई और गलत शिक्षाओं को सिखाना। इसके बारे में भी हम देख चुके हैं कि यह भी एक ऐसी गलत शिक्षा है जिसका वचन से कोई समर्थन या आधार नहीं है। प्रेरितों 2 अध्याय में जो अन्य भाषाएं बोली गईं, वे पृथ्वी ही की भाषाएं और उनकी बोलियाँ थीं; कोई अलौकिक भाषा नहीं। हमने यह भी देखा था कि वचन में इस शिक्षा का भी कोई आधार या समर्थन नहीं है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” प्रार्थना की भाषाएं हैं। इस गलत शिक्षा के साथ जुड़ी हुई इन लोगों की एक और गलत शिक्षा है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलना ही पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण है, जिसके भी झूठ होने और परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग पर आधारित होने को हमने पिछले लेख में देखा है।

    आज हम अन्य-भाषाएं बोलने से संबंधित कुछ अन्य गलत शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखेंगे। कुछ लोग अपनी इस बात को सही ठहराने के लिए कुछ और भी तर्क देते हैं:

क्या “अन्य भाषा” बोलना, बोलने का नहीं वरन सुनने का आश्चर्यकर्म था?
    कुछ का कहना है कि प्रेरितों 2:3-11 में आश्चर्यकर्म बोलने का ही नहीं सुनने का भी था। अर्थात, प्रभु के शिष्य तो पृथ्वी के बाहर की अलौकिक भाषाएं बोल रहे थे, किन्तु एकत्रित यहूदियों को वह सुन उनकी अपनी स्थानीय भाषाओं और बोलियों में रहा था।

    यदि ऐसा था, तो फिर आज ऐसा क्यों नहीं होता है? आज क्यों सुनने वालों को केवल कुछ निरर्थक आवाज़ें ही सुनाई देते हैं? आज जब ये लोग और उनके अनुयायी बड़े जोर-शोर से अपनी “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलते हैं तो क्यों लोगों को न तो उनकी अपनी भाषा सुनाई देती है और न ही कुछ समझ में आता है कि वे कह क्या रहे हैं! औरों को तो क्या, स्वयं बोलने वालों को भी पता नहीं होता है कि उन्होंने क्या कहा है!

क्या आज की यह “अन्य भाषाएं” पृथ्वी के किसी भिन्न स्थान की भाषाएं हैं? 
    कुछ अन्य कहते हैं कि भाषाएं पृथ्वी ही की हैं, किन्तु किसी अन्य अनजाने देश अथवा स्थान की, जिसे उन बोलने वालों ने कभी नहीं सीखा या जाना, किन्तु पवित्र आत्मा उन से उन भाषाओं में बुलवाता है। इसे स्वीकार करने में दो मुख्य समस्याएं हैं: पहली तो यह कि आज जब लोग “अन्य भाषा” बोलते हैं, तो उनके मुँह के उच्चारण, आवाजों में न तो किसी भाषा के समान कोई प्रवाह दिखता है, और न ही कोई शब्द कहे जाने का आभास होता है। वे थोड़ी सी आवाजों को ही हर बार, हर बात के लिए, हर समय बारंबार दोहराते रहते हैं, जो भाषा होने के अनुरूप कदापि नहीं है। दूसरी बात, आज के समय में उनका किसी अन्य स्थान की भाषा बोलने का क्या औचित्य अथवा उपयोग है; वह भी तब जब बोलने वाले उन परदेश के स्थानों पर न तो जाते हैं और न सेवकाई करते हैं? किसी को अपनी व्यक्तिगत प्रार्थना या आराधना करने के लिए, किसी अन्य स्थान की भाषा, जिसे न तो वह जानता है और न ही समझता है, बोलने की क्या आवश्यकता है? यदि व्यक्ति अपनी ही भाषा में प्रार्थना और आराधना नहीं कर सकता है, तो किसी अन्य भाषा में, जिसे वह नहीं जानता है, कैसे कर सकेगा; और वह कैसे जानेगा कि उसने क्या प्रार्थना या आराधना की है, परमेश्वर से क्या मांगा है? और पवित्र आत्मा उससे किसी अन्य भाषा में प्रार्थना और आराधना क्यों करवाएगा; ऐसा करने से क्या अतिरिक्त लाभ होगा? यह और भी विचित्र और हास्यास्पद हो जाता है जब यह ध्यान करें कि पृथ्वी के किसी और स्थान पर उस “अन्य भाषा” को स्वाभाविक रीति से बोलने वाले लोग, इसी प्रकार से, अपनी प्रार्थना और आराधना के लिए किसी और ही भाषा का प्रयोग करते होंगे! तो जो भाषा उनके अपने लिए प्रभावी नहीं है, वह किसी दूसरे के लिए प्रभावी कैसे हो सकती है?

    अगले लेख में हम अन्य भाषा बोलने से सम्बन्धित एक और भ्रामक तथा झूठी शिक्षा के बारे में देखेंगे।

    यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Some Other Wrong Teachings Regarding the Holy Spirit (1)

We have been seeing in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel. In this verse a very important way to identify the false from the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, we had started to look into the wrong things often taught and preached about the Holy Spirit. About the Holy Spirit, we have seen that every truly Born-Again Christian Believer automatically receives the Holy Spirit from God, at the very moment of his being saved. From that moment onwards, the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him in all His fullness, stays with him forever, never leaves him; and Biblically this is also known as being filled by the Holy Spirit or the baptism with the Holy Spirit. God's Word is very clear that unlike what these people preach and teach, filling with the Holy Spirit or baptism with the Holy Spirit are not separate or second experiences. Another very popular and emphatically stated wrong teaching of these preachers and teachers of deceptions is about “speaking in tongues”, their claim that the “tongues’ are super-natural languages, and some other related wrong teachings. Regarding this we have seen that these are also wrong teachings which have no support or affirmation from the Bible. The speaking in “tongues” in Acts 2 were the known and understood languages of the earth and not any super-natural languages. We also saw that quite unlike their claims, “tongues” are not any “prayer language” - the Bible does not offer any support to this. Also, in the last article we also saw how their emphatic claim that speaking in tongues is proof of receiving the Holy Spirit is also patently false and unBiblical; it is their concocted doctrine through misuse and misinterpretation of Biblical facts.

Today we will look at some other commonly preached things related to “speaking in tongues” through which they try to justify their wrong teachings and false doctrines about the Holy Spirit:

Was “speaking in tongues” a miracle of hearing, and not of speaking?

Some people say that the miracle of Acts 2:3-11 was one of hearing, and not of speaking; i.e., the disciples of the Lord Jesus were actually speaking supernatural languages, but the Jews gathered in Jerusalem were hearing and understanding what was being said in their own languages and dialects.

If it was so, then why does the same not happen today? Why is it that today people get to hear only gibberish - incomprehensible, meaningless sounds? These people very enthusiastically, dramatically, and loudly speak in their so-called “super-natural tongues”, but neither they themselves, nor any of the hearers understand or know what is being said. So how can this be the same Biblical phenomenon as was seen in Acts 2; even if it was to be a miracle of hearing?

Are these “tongues” being spoken today, the languages of some other region of the earth?

Some of the believers in “tongues” being “super-natural” claim that the “tongues” are languages of the earth, but of another region, a language which the speaker never learnt, but the Holy Spirit makes him speak in that language. There are two main problems in accepting this as true; firstly, today when these people “speak in tongues” then there is no flow or sense of words being spoken, as happens when anyone speaks in any language. These people keep repeating the same unintelligible sounds over and over again, for everything and whenever they “speak in tongues”, all of which is inconsistent with speaking in any language of any place. Secondly, is there any need, necessity, or rationale for their speaking in a language of another geographical location; that too when they have no ministry or work in the place of that language? Why would anyone need to pray or worship in a language of another location, a language he neither knows nor understands? If he cannot worship and pray in his own language which he knows, then how can he pray or worship in a language that he does not know? How will he know whether he has worshipped or prayed; if he prayed then what has he asked in prayer? Why would the Holy Spirit get him to worship or pray in another language; what extra benefit will he get by doing so? It becomes all the more absurd and ridiculous, when one thinks that the people of that other region will be praying and worshipping in some other language of the earth, and not their own; if their own native language was not effective enough for them to pray and worship in, then how will it become effective for this person who is praying and worshipping in their language? There is simply no sense in this explanation of “tongues”.

In the next article we will consider some more such deceptive and false teachings related to speaking in tongues.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि जैसे उनके द्वारा प्रभावी सेवकाई के लिए "पवित्र आत्मा का बपतिस्मा" पाने की अनिवार्यता का दावा झूठा था, उसी प्रकार से गलत सिद्धान्तों और झूठी शिक्षाओं का प्रचार करने वाले ये लोग एक अन्य झूठा दावा यह भी करते हैं कि बाइबल में जब भी किसी ने पवित्र आत्मा पाया या पवित्र आत्मा से भरा, तो साथ ही उसने "अन्य भाषा" भी बोली है। ये लोग इस दावे को इतने बलपूर्वक और विश्वास के साथ बताते हैं, कि सुनने वाले कभी बाइबल से इसकी पुष्टि करने का प्रयास ही नहीं करते हैं। आज हम देखेंगे कि क्या उनका यह दावा बाइबल के सत्यों के सामने खड़ा रहने पाता है क नहीं; क्या या दावा वास्तव में सच है, या फिर एक और झूठा प्रचार है? 

जब हम वचन से उनके इस दावे को परखते हैं तो पाते हैं कि उनका यह तर्क भी कि वचन में जब भी पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करना आया है, साथ ही अन्य-भाषाएं बोलना भी आया है, इसी प्रकार से निराधार है। नए नियम में पवित्र आत्मा के किसी पर आने का सबसे पहला उल्लेख प्रभु यीशु की माता मरियम के लिए है (लूका 1:35), दूसरा उल्लेख यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देने वाली की माता इलीशिबा का है (लूका 1:41), और तीसरा यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देने वाले के पिता ज़कर्याह का है (लूका 1:67); चौथा लूका 2:25 में शमौन का है; और पाँचवाँ लूका 1:15 में यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देने वाले के बारे में है। किन्तु इन पाँचों आरंभिक घटनाओं में कहीं कोई उल्लेख नहीं है कि इन में से किसी ने कभी कोई “अन्य भाषा” बोली - न तो उस समय जब वे पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण हुए, और न ही उसके बाद किसी अन्य अवसर पर। इस प्रकार, नए नियम के वे पहले पाँच लोग जिन के पवित्र आत्मा पाने का उल्लेख आया है, उन्होंने अपने जीवन भर कभी भी किसी "अन्य-भाषा" में बात नहीं की। यही अपने आप में उनके दावे के झूठे होने का एक सामर्थी प्रमाण है। 

इसी प्रकार से बिना अन्य भाषा बोले पवित्र आत्मा से भरने के लिए प्रेरितों के कार्य में अन्य स्थानों पर भी आया है:

    * प्रेरितों 4:8 में पतरस के लिए

    * प्रेरितों 4:31 में शिष्यों के लिए 

    * प्रेरितों 6:5 में स्तिफनुस के लिए

    * प्रेरितों 8:17 में सामरियों के विश्वास में आने और पवित्र आत्मा पाने के लिए

    * प्रेरितों 9:17 में पौलुस के लिए

    

    पुराने नियम में पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने पर साथ ही अन्य भाषा में बोलने का भी कोई उदाहरण नहीं है:

    * निर्गमन 31:3 - बेजलील

    * न्यायियों 3:10 - ओतनिएल

    * न्यायियों 6:34 - गिदोन  

    * न्यायियों 11:29 - यिपताह

    * न्यायियों 13:25, 14:6, 14:19, 15:14 - शिमशोन

    * 1 शमूएल 10:6; 10:10; 11:6; 19:23 - शाऊल

    * 1 शमूएल 16:13 - दाऊद

    * 1 शमूएल 19:20 - शाऊल के दूत

    * 1 इतिहास 12:18 - आमासाई

    * 2 इतिहास 15:1 - अज़रियाह

    *  2 इतिहास 20:14 - जहाज़ीएल

    * 2 इतिहास 24:20 - ज़कर्याह

    * दानिय्येल 4:8, 9, 18; 5:11, 14 - दानिय्येल

    * मीका 3:8 - मीका

    परमेश्वर के वचन के ये सभी हवाले उनके इस दावे के बिलकुल झूठ और वचन का दुरुपयोग होने, लोगों को बहकाने और भरमाने का कार्य होने को दिखा देते हैं।

    यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।

Speaking in ‘Tongues’ is NOT Proof of Receiving the Holy Spirit (2)

In the previous article we had seen that as for the false claim of the necessity of a separate "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" for an effective ministry, these preachers of wrong doctrines and false teachings also falsely claim that in the Bible, every instance of receiving or being filled with the Holy Spirit has always been accompanied by speaking in tongues. This claim is very emphatically made, and with such confidence that no one thinks of verifying it from God's Word. Today let us see if their claim stands up to the truth of the Bible or not; whether it actually is true, or merely another false claim. 

    When we cross-check their claim from the Word of God, the Bible, that everyone who received the Holy Spirit also spoke in “tongues”, it becomes evident that like their other claims about receiving the Holy Spirit, this one too is unfounded and baseless. In the New Testament, the first occurrence of the Holy Spirit coming upon or filling a person is about Mary, the mother of Lord Jesus (Luke 1:35), the second is of Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist (Luke 1:41), and the third is of Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist (Luke 1:67); the fourth is in Luke 2:25 about Simeon; and the fifth is in Luke 1:15 about John the Baptist. But in none of these five instances no one ever spoke in “tongues” - neither at the time when they received the Holy Spirit, nor at any other occasion subsequently in their lives. So, the first five people mentioned in the New Testament with the receiving of the Holy Spirit, never spoke in any tongues. This by itself strongly disproves their claim.

    Similarly, in the Book of Acts too, there are instances when a person was “filled” with the Holy Spirit, but did not speak in “tongues”:

    * Acts 4:8 - Peter

    * Acts 4:31 - the disciples

    * Acts 6:5 - Stephen

    * Acts 8:17 - the Samaritans coming to faith in the Lord and receiving the Holy Spirit

    * Acts 9:17 - Paul

    In the Old Testament, there is no occurrence of anyone speaking in tongues on receiving the Holy Spirit:

    * Exodus 31:3 - Bezalel

    * Judges 3:10 - Othniel

    * Judges 6:34 - Gideon

    * Judges 11:29 - Jephthah

    * Judges 13:25; 14:6, 19; 15:14 - Samson

    * 1 Samuel 10:6, 10; 11:6; 19:23 - King Saul

    * 1 Samuel 16:13 - David

    * 1 Samuel 19:20 - the messengers of King Saul

    * 1 Chronicles 12:18 - Amasai

    * 2 Chronicles 15:1 - Azariah

    * 2 Chronicles 20:14 - Jahaziel

    * 2 Chronicles 24:20 - Zechariah

    * Daniel 4:8, 9, 18; 5:11, 14 - Daniel

    * Micah 3:8 - Micah

    These references from the Bible expose the hollowness of their claim, and how it is only a lie spread to deceive and mislead people into unBiblical teachings and doctrines.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold on to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject all the rest.

    If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

हम पिछले लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरितों धर्म के सेवक, और प्रभु के लोगों का भेस धारण कर के प्रस्तुत करते हैं। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं। इन गलत या भ्रामक शिक्षाओं के मुख्य स्वरूपों के बारे में, जिन्हें शैतान और उसके लोग प्रभु यीशु के झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है कि, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता। अर्थात, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं के, गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है। इस पद में यह भी लिखा है कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में शैतान की युक्तियों के जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता दिए गए हैं। इसलिए वचन से देखने, जाँचने, शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है।

पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखने के बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखना आरंभ किया है। हम देख चुके हैं कि प्रत्येक सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी के नया जन्म या उद्धार पाते ही, तुरंत उसके उद्धार पाने के पल से ही परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संपूर्णता में आकर उसके अंदर निवास करने लगता है, और उसी में बना रहता है, उसे कभी छोड़ कर नहीं जाता है; और इसी को पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा पाना भी कहते हैं। वचन स्पष्ट है कि पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या उससे बपतिस्मा पाना कोई दूसरा या अतिरिक्त अनुभव नहीं है, वरन उद्धार के साथ ही सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा का आकर निवास करना ही है। इन गलत शिक्षकों की एक और बहुत प्रचलित और बल पूर्वक कही जाने वाले बात है “अन्य-भाषाओं” में बोलना, और उन लोगों के द्वारा “अन्य-भाषाओं” को अलौकिक भाषाएं, प्रार्थना करने की भाषा बताना। इसके बारे में पिछले लेख में हम देख चुके हैं कि यह भी एक ऐसी गलत शिक्षा है जिसका वचन से कोई समर्थन या आधार नहीं है। प्रेरितों 2 अध्याय में जो अन्य भाषाएं बोली गईं, वे पृथ्वी ही की भाषाएं और उनकी बोलियाँ थीं; कोई अलौकिक भाषा नहीं। हमने यह भी देखा था कि वचन में इस शिक्षा का भी कोई आधार या समर्थन नहीं है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” प्रार्थना की भाषाएं हैं।

एक अन्य संबंधित गलत शिक्षा उन लोगों के द्वारा बल-पूर्वक यह सिखाना है कि अन्य-भाषाएं बोलना ही पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण है। आज हम इसी के विषय परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल से देखेंगे। यदि आप 1 कुरिन्थियों 12:4-11 को देखेंगे, जो पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा वचन की सेवकाई के लिए दिए जाने वाले आत्मिक वरदानों के बारे में है, तो उसके 10 पद से यह स्पष्ट हो जाएगा कि अन्य-भाषा में बोलना, अन्य आत्मिक वरदानों के समान ही पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा दिया गया एक आत्मिक वरदान है। साथ ही इसी खंड में पद 8 से 10 में हर आत्मिक वरदान के लिए, बारंबार “किसी को” भी लिखा गया है; जो यह दिखाता है कि हर किसी को एक ही समान आत्मिक वरदान नहीं दिए गए, किसी को एक, किसी अन्य को कोई और, और इसी प्रकार भिन्न लोगों को भिन्न आत्मिक वरदान, उनकी सेवकाई के अनुसार, पवित्र आत्मा की इच्छा के अनुसार (पद 11) दिए गए हैं। बाइबल का यह खंड स्पष्ट है कि हर किसी को अन्य-भाषा में बात करने का वरदान नहीं दिया गया है। साथ ही यहाँ पर अन्य भाषाओं के विषय ऐसी कोई बात या कोई संकेत तक भी नहीं है जिसके आधार पर यह निष्कर्ष निकाला जाए कि अन्य-भाषा में बोलना पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण है। व्यक्ति में पवित्र आत्मा की उपस्थिति का प्रमाण तो उसका बदला हुआ जीवन, उसका पवित्र आत्मा के चलाए चलना और शारीरिक लालसाओं और अभिलाषाओं से दूर हो जाना, उसके जीवन में दिखने वाले आत्मा के फल हैं (गलातियों 5:22-26)।

परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा के बारे में गलत शिक्षाएं फैलाने वाले ये लोग अपने इस दावे को “प्रमाणित” करने के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा झूठ बोलते हैं। वे दावे के साथ कहते हैं कि वचन में जब भी किसी ने पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त किया है, उससे परिपूर्ण हुआ है, तो उसने अवश्य ही अन्य-भाषाएं भी बोली हैं। इसलिए यह मानने योग्य बात और प्रमाण है कि अन्य-भाषा बोलना ही पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण है। इस संदर्भ में शायद ही कभी किसी ने बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान (प्रेरितों 17:11) इस बात की सच्चाई को जाँचने और उनके दावे की पुष्टि करने का प्रयास किया होगा - न तो उनके अपने साथियों और अनुयायियों ने, और न ही उन्होंने जिन्हें ये बड़ी हिम्मत के साथ यह बात कहते हैं।

अगले लेख में हम बाइबल में से पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने या पवित्र आत्मा से भरने के हवालों को देखेंगे, और पुष्टि करेंगे कि ऐसा होने पर क्या हर बार लोगों ने "अन्य-भाषाएँ" बोलीं?

Speaking in ‘Tongues’ is NOT Proof of Receiving the Holy Spirit (1)

    We have been seeing from the previous articles that one of the characteristics of child-like immature Christians is that they are very easily misled into deceptive and false teachings. Satan and his followers disguise themselves as false apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light to present these deceptive, false teachings. These deceivers and their teachings are attractive, appealing, seemingly knowledgeable, and even have an appearance of being reverential and righteous; but there will always be some extra-Biblical teachings cleverly mixed up in them. About these deceptive, false teachings, God the Holy Spirit had it written through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! that they are mainly about three topics, the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel. To recognize the truth and escape falling for Satan’s deception, along with these three topics, a very important point for proper discernment has also been stated in this verse: the facts and truth about these three have already been given in God’s Word. Therefore, anything that is not already in God’s Word is satanic, a corruption brought in by the false teachers, and is not to be accepted.

    In the preceding articles we had first seen the various false teachings spread about the Lord Jesus, and had then started to look into the false teachings about the Holy Spirit. We have seen that the Holy Spirit is given to every truly Born-Again Christian Believer at the moment of his being saved; God the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him forever in all His fullness, and never leaves him. We have also seen that the Word of God is very clear that being “filled with the Holy Spirit” and “baptism with the Holy Spirit'' are not “second experiences” or something extra, but just the same as the Holy Spirit coming to reside in the Believer on being saved; and Biblically there is nothing like the very emphatically preached and taught “Baptism of the Holy Spirit.” This too is a false teaching that has no basis or affirmation from the Word of God. In the last article we have considered the facts and truth regarding another related wrong teaching, again insisted upon and very emphatically taught by these preachers and teachers of false doctrines - the “speaking in tongues” and seen from the Word of God that the claims of these preachers that these are super-natural languages, and Prayer languages” are unfounded and baseless. The languages spoken by the disciples in Acts 2, were known and recognized languages of earth.

    There is another related wrong teaching, a false doctrine, also very emphatically preached and taught, that speaking in “tongues” is the proof of having received the Holy Spirit. We will examine this claim today from the Bible. If you look at 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, which is a passage about the different gifts the Holy Spirit gives to the Christian Believers, then it is very clear from verse 10 that speaking in “tongues” is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, like any of the other gifts mentioned here. Moreover, note that in this passage, from verse 8 to 10, with every gift, is also written “to some”, which is a clear indication that not everybody receives the same gift, different gifts are given to different people, as the Holy Spirit decides (verse 11). This passage from the Bible makes it quite clear that every Believer has not been given the gift of speaking in “tongues”. There is nothing stated or indicated in this passage that would suggest that speaking in “tongues” is the proof of having received the Holy Spirit. The proof of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a person is his changed life, his living and walking under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and moving away from the worldly desires and living; the presence of fruits of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life is the proof of the Holy Spirit being present (Galatians 5:22-26).

    These people who spread false teachings and wrong doctrines about the Holy Spirit, to corroborate their false claim, speak a big lie, stating it as a fact of God’s Word. They say and claim that in the Bible, whenever anyone has received the Holy Spirit, they have also spoken in “tongues”; therefore, this association is proof of what they say and claim. But as the Believers in Berea had done, has anyone ever made an effort to cross-check and verify their claim, and confirm it’s being true or false? Even those who so emphatically and courageously make this claim, and their followers would never have tried to actually check it out from the Word of God!

In the next article we will look at the Biblical instances of receiving, or being filled with the Holy Spirit, and verify whether or not they always were accompanied by speaking in "tongues."
