बाइबल - लेखन तथा लेखकों में अनुपम (1)
जैसे पिछले लेख में कहा गया था, बाइबल और विज्ञान (जो कि विभिन्न तरीकों से सृजी गई वस्तुओं की रचना और कार्य विधियों का अध्ययन ही है), में परस्पर विरोधाभास में नहीं हैं। हमने यह भी देखा था कि संसार के प्रमुख वैज्ञानिकों में से कई, बाबल पर विश्वास रखने वाले प्रतिबद्ध मसीही विश्वासी थे; तथा बाइबल से प्रेरणा पाकर संसार की बहुत महत्वपूर्ण खोज हुई हैं। साथ ही, बाइबल को गलत प्रमाणित करने निकले अविश्वासियों में से कुछ लोग, उनकी खोज के परिणामों के बाइबल ही के पक्ष में के होने कारण, मसीही विश्वासी तथा बाइबल के दावों की दृढ़ता से पुष्टि करने वाले बन गये।
पीछे के लेख में हमें बताया था कि बाइबल कुल 66 भिन्न पुस्तकों का संकलन है, जो भिन्न समयों पर, भिन्न लोगों द्वारा लिखी गई थीं। इन पुस्तक के लेखक न तो यह जानते थे कि किसी अन्य ने क्या, कब और क्यों लिखा। और न ही वे यह जानते थे कि एक दिन उनकी लिखी हुई बातों को मिला कर एक पुस्तक बना दिया जाएगा। वे तो परमेश्वर की अगुवाई में, अपने समय के कुछ लोगों को पमरीश्वर के सन्देश लिख रहे थे। किन्तु जब उन्हें एकत्रित करके साथ रखा गया तो बड़ी अद्भुत रीति से वे सभी पुस्तकें मिलकर एक पूर्ण पुस्तक बन गईं। इस एकीकृत की गई पुस्तक के सभी भाग एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं, उनमें परस्पर कोई विरोधाभास नहीं है, सभी पुस्तकें एक-दूसरे के लेखों को समर्थित करती हैं, और सभी पुस्तकों की परस्पर सहायता से ही बाइबल की बातों को भली-भांति और ठीक से समझा जा सकता है।
यह तब और भी अद्भुत तथा विलक्षण हो जाता है जब बाइबल के लिखे जाने और लेखकों के बारे में थोड़ा विवरण देखते हैं:
बाइबल की पुस्तकें लगभग 1500 वर्ष से अधिक के अंतराल में लिखी गईं, और फिर भी पूर्णतः सामंजस्य में हैं।
बाइबल की पुस्तकों के 40 से अधिक लेखक थे, जो समय, भौगोलिक स्थान, भाषा, कार्य तथा व्यवसाय, शैक्षिक स्तर, सामाजिक ओहदे, आदि में भिन्न थे। इन विभिन्न लेखकों में से कुछ के उदाहरण देखते हैं:
मूसा – एक राजनीतिक अगुवा था, जिसका पालन-पोषण, शिक्षा, प्रशिक्षण मिस्र के राजसी घराने में एक राजकुमार के समान हुआ था।
यहोशू – पहले एक दास, और फिर इस्राएल की सेना का एक सेनापति था।
दाऊद – एक चरवाहा युवक था, जो राजा की सेना में सम्मिलित किया गया, उन्नति करते हुए शूरवीर पराक्रमी योद्धा, और फिर इस्राएल का राजा बना। वह एक कवि, और संगीतज्ञ भी था जिसने न केवल स्तुति के भजन लिखे और संगीत-बद्ध किए, वरन कई संगीत वाद्य भी बनाए।
सुलैमान – राजा तथा परमेश्वर की कृपादृष्टि पाया हुआ दार्शनिक, बुद्धिजीवी, और लेखक था।
नहेम्याह – एक गैर-यहूदी राजा का सेवक था, जिसका कार्य पहले स्वयं चख-परखकर फिर राजा के पीने के लिए उसे पेय का कटोरा पकड़ाना था।
एज्रा – एक धर्म-शास्त्री और पवित्र शास्त्र का विद्वान था।
दानिय्येल – एक यहूदी गुलाम युवक, जो बेबीलोन के राजा का सर्वोच्च सलाहकार एवं मंत्री बना।
आमोस – एक चरवाहा था।
लूका – एक वैद्य और लेखक था।
मत्ती – एक चुंगी लेने वाला सरकारी नौकर था।
पौलुस – एक धर्म-शास्त्र का विद्वान और धार्मिक अगुवा था।
यूहन्ना और पतरस – अनपढ़ साधारण मछुआरे थे।
मरकुस – पतरस के लिए लिखने वाले एक सामान्य युवक था।
बाइबल की पुस्तकें विभिन्न स्थानों और परिस्थितियों में लिखे गईं:
मूसा ने जंगल की यात्रा के दौरान लिखीं
यिर्मयाह ने कैदखाने की काल-कोठरी में पड़े हुए लिखी
दानिय्येल ने राजमहल में लिखी
पौलुस ने बंदीगृह में पड़े हुए या अपनी यात्राओं के दौरान लिखीं
लूका ने मसीही सेवकाई की यात्रा करते हुए लिखी
यूहन्ना ने अपनी सेवकाई के दौरान, था पतमोस के टापू पर काला-पानी की सजा भोगते हुए भी लिखी
दाऊद ने कुछ युद्ध के समय में लिखी, तो कुछ अन्य अपने जीवन की भिन्न-भिन्न परिस्थितियों में लिखीं।
सुलैमान ने शांति और संपन्नता के समय में लिखी
बाइबल की पुस्तकें विभिन्न मनोदशाओं में लिखी गईं:
कुछ ने परम-आनंद के भाव में उत्साह के साथ लिखीं
कुछ ने घोर निराशा, दुख, और हताश के समयों में अपनी भावनाएं व्यक्त कीं
कुछ ने विश्वास की दृढ़ता में निश्चितता के साथ लिखीं
कुछ ने संदेह और असमंजस से जूझते हुए लिखा
बाइबल की पुस्तकें तीन भिन्न महाद्वीपों और उनकी संस्कृतियों तथा सामाजिक विचारधाराओं में लिखी गईं। ये तीन महाद्वीप हैं:
एशिया
अफ्रीका
यूरोप
बाइबल की पुस्तकें तीन भिन्न भाषाओं में लिखी गईं:
इब्री या इब्रानी भाषा – जो यहूदियों की, तथा लगभग सम्पूर्ण पुराने नियम के लिखे जाने की भाषा है।
अरामी – जो निकट-पूर्व के देशों – वर्तमान इस्राएल तथा उसके आस-पास के देशों के क्षेत्रों की आम लोगों की; राजा सिकंदर के छठी शताब्दी ईसा-पूर्व में यूनान से संसार के विजय अभियान पर निकलने से पहले की भाषा हुआ करती थी। पुराने नियम के कुछ भाग, जैसे के दानिय्येल के 2 से 7 अध्याय और एज्रा का अधिकांश 4 अध्याय से लेकर 7 अध्याय तक अरामी भाषा में हैं।
यूनानी – यह लगभग सम्पूर्ण नए नियम के लिखे जाने की भाषा है, और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की पृथ्वी के समय की सेवकाई के समय की यह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भाषा तथा जन-सामान्य की भाषा थी।
अगले लेख में हम उपरोक्त तथ्यों के आधार पर निष्कर्ष के बारे में बात करेंगे। परन्तु यदि आप ने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Bible - Unique in its Writings and Writers (1)
As stated in the preceding article, the Bible and science (which is the study of the construction and functioning of the various created things), are not mutually contradictory. We also saw that some of the greatest scientists of the world have been devout Bible believing Christians; and the Bible has inspired some great scientific discoveries, and in trying to prove the Bible wrong, some opponents of the Bible, through the evidence they themselves uncovered which was fully in favor of the Bible, became Christian Believers and great supporters of the truth of the Bible.
In earlier articles, we had mentioned that the Bible is a compilation of 66 different books, written by different people, at different times. The authors of these books never knew that someone else was also writing something, nor its why and when. Nor did they know that one day all these books will be combined together as one book. They were only writing some messages given to them by God, addressed to some of their contemporary people. But on being collected and compiled together, all those books marvelously fit together as one unit and became a single complete book. All the parts of this compiled book complement each other, all the books support each other’s contents, and all the books supplement each other's writings; there is no contradiction in them. It is only by taking the help of what is written in the other books, that the writings of the Bible can be better and properly understood.
It becomes even more wonderful and unique when we look at a little detail about the writing and authors of the Bible:
The books of the Bible were written over a span of more than 1500 years, and yet are in full mutual harmony.
There were over 40 authors of Bible books, spread over different times, differing in geographic locations, languages, work and occupations, educational levels, social status, etc. Let's see some examples of some of these different authors:
Moses – was a political leader, who was raised, educated, trained as a prince in the royal family of Egypt.
Joshua – Initially was a slave and later became a Military General of the Israelite army.
David – Initially was a young shepherd who joined the king's army, rose to become a mighty warrior, and eventually became the King of Israel. He was also a poet, and musician who not only wrote and composed hymns of praise of God, but also made many musical instruments.
Solomon - was a Prince who had received the blessings and visions of God; and was a philosopher, intellectual, and writer.
Nehemiah – was a servant of a Gentile King, whose job was to first taste himself and then to hand the drink bowl to the King to drink.
Ezra – was a theologian and scholar of the Holy Scriptures.
Daniel – A Jewish slave youth, who became the supreme adviser and minister to the Babylonian king.
Amos – was a shepherd.
Luke – was a physician and writer.
Matthew – Was a tax collector, a government servant.
Paul – was a theological scholar and religious leader.
John and Peter – were illiterate and ordinary fishermen.
Mark – was a common young man who wrote for Peter.
The books of the Bible were written in different places and circumstances:
Moses wrote during his journey in the wilderness
Jeremiah wrote in the prison dungeon
Daniel wrote in the palace
Paul wrote while in prison or during his travels
Luke wrote while traveling for the Christian ministry
John wrote during his ministry and on the island of Patmos while serving the punishment of solitary confinement
David wrote some during the times of war, some others in different circumstances of his life.
Solomon wrote in a time of peace and prosperity
The books of the Bible were written in different moods:
Some wrote with enthusiasm in the spirit of ecstasy
Some expressed their feelings in times of great despair, sadness, and depression
Some wrote with certainty in the firmness of faith
Some wrote struggling with doubts and confusion
The books of the Bible were written on three different continents, in their entirely different cultures and social ideologies. These three continents are:
Asia
Africa
Europe
The books of the Bible were written in three different languages:
Hebrew or Jewish language - which is the language of writings of the Jews, and of almost the whole of the Old Testament.
Aramaic – which used to be the language of the common people of the Near-East countries – areas of present-day Israel and its surrounding countries; Before King Alexander set out on a conquest of the world from Greece in the 6th century BC. Parts of the Old Testament, such as chapters 2 to 7 of Daniel and most of Ezra from chapters 4 to chapter 7, are in Aramaic.
Greek – This is the language of writing of almost all of the New Testament, and it was the language of international communications, and also the language of the general public during the time of the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the next article, on the basis of the above facts we will consider the conclusion of the matter. But for now, if you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
