उस पद या खण्ड को बाइबल के विभिन्न अनुवादों में से देखिए, और यदि संभव हो तो मूल भाषा के शब्द और उसके अर्थ को अवश्य देखिए, विशेषकर यदि खण्ड समझने में कठिन हो तो।
हमेशा बाइबल को ही बाइबल की व्याख्या करने दीजिए, समझाने दीजिए - बाइबल ही अपनी सबसे उत्तम व्याख्याकार है। बाइबल के विभिन्न भाग एक-दूसरे को समझाते और स्पष्ट करते हैं।
किसी भी व्याख्या को किसी अन्य संबंधित पद या खण्ड के विरोधाभास में नहीं लाना चाहिए। बाइबल हमेशा अपने अन्य भागों से सहमत रहती है, अपने किसी भी भाग को कभी काटती नहीं है; इसलिए यदि व्याख्या में कहीं किसी भाग के साथ असहमति अथवा विरोधाभास आता है तो गलती व्याख्या में है, न कि बाइबल में; और व्याख्या की उस गलती को सुधारने की आवश्यकता है।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

The first part of this verse, John 15:2, is often used as one of the Bible texts that is alleged to support the erroneous doctrine that salvation can be lost. But it is not so; this interpretation is based upon the translation "He takes away" in this first part of the verse. How can we answer those who misuse this verse to “prove” that salvation can be lost? The word used in the original Greek language, that has been translated as "He takes away" in John 15:2 is ‘Aheero’, which has been used in the Scriptures at many other places, with other meanings and implications. The meaning "He takes away" that is understood in this verse is what needs to be seen and understood properly to come to a correct conclusion. 1. Some Important and Basic Principles of Bible Interpretation:
Original text of the Bible was not written in Chapters and verses; this was a much later modification. Hence the division of thoughts and teachings into ‘verses’ is artificial, which can lead to erroneous interpretations. Therefore, always mentally remove this artificial division and see the text as one block.
Always study every word and verse and passage in its context – i.e., in its immediate setting and along with its surrounding verses, along with the thought process in use, and the example/object of the parable being considered; never out of consideration of these important things.
Look it up in different translations, and if possible, look up the original word and its meaning, specially for difficult passages.
Always use the Bible to interpret and understand the Bible – the Bible is its own best interpreter. Different parts of the Bible explain and clarify each other.
No interpretation we make, should contradict any other related verse or passage. The Bible always supports itself, never contradicts; so, if there is any discrepancy or contradiction, then the error is in the interpretation.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
