पवित्र आत्मा से सीखना – 18

क्योंकि प्रत्येक नया-जन्म पाया हुआ मसीही विश्वासी पवित्र आत्मा का भण्डारी भी है, जो उस में निवास करता है, और उसके उद्धार पाने के क्षण ही में परमेश्वर के द्वारा उसे दे दिया जाता है, इसलिए विश्वासी को अपने भण्डारी होने का निर्वाह योग्य रीति से करना है। विश्वासी को परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा दिया गया ताकि उसके मसीही जीवन को जीने और परमेश्वर द्वारा उसे सौंपी गई सेवकाई का ठीक प्रकार से निर्वाह करने में उसका सहायक हो, मार्गदर्शक हो। पवित्र आत्मा विश्वासी का शिक्षक भी है; जिन अन्य बातों को विश्वासी को सीखना होता है, उन के अतिरिक्त, पवित्र आत्मा विश्वासी को परमेश्वर के वचन को भी सिखाता है। क्योंकि कोई भी मनुष्य सिद्ध और अचूक नहीं है, सभी से गलतियाँ होती हैं, और सभी अपनी समझ के अनुसार की गई व्याख्या को प्रमुख करते हैं, इसलिए प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को परमेश्वर का वचन सीखने के लिये किसी मनुष्य एवं मनुष्य की रचनाओं पर निर्भर रहने की बजाए, उसे प्राथमिक रीति से परमेश्वर के वचन को पवित्र आत्मा से ही सीखना चाहिए, जिस से कि किसी भी प्रकार की गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ने के खतरे से बचा रहे। परमेश्वर की यह आज्ञा भी है कि मनुष्यों की शिक्षाओं और व्याख्याओं को हमेशा पहले वचन से जाँच-परख लेना चाहिये, और बाइबल से सुसंगत होने पर ही उन्हें स्वीकार करना चाहिये। 

पिछले लेखों में हमने देखा है कि लोग क्यों पवित्र आत्मा की बजाए, मनुष्यों से सीखने पर अधिक निर्भर रहना चाहते हैं; और हमने 1 पतरस 2:1-2 से यह भी देखा है कि विश्वासी को पवित्र आत्मा से सीखने के लिए अपने आप को किस प्रकार से तैयार करना चाहिए। पिछले लेख से हमने भजन 25 से परमेश्वर द्वारा लोगों को अपने वचन और मार्गों को सीखने के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है। यह भजन विश्वासी के परमेश्वर से वचन को सीखने के बारे में मनन करने के लिए कुछ बहुत गंभीर और महत्वपूर्ण बातों को दिखाता है; और साथ ही कुछ गलत धारणाओं का भी, जो वचन सीखने के बारे में सामान्यतः लोगों में पाई जाती हैं, निवारण कर देता है। संबंधित पदों से, जिस क्रम में वे लिखे गए हैं, पिछले लेख में हमने पद 8 और 9 से देखा था, कि परमेश्वर पापियों को सिखाता है, और वह सीखने वाले में नम्रता होने की माँग करता है। आज हम इससे आगे, एक और पद से सीखेंगे।

परमेश्वर द्वारा वचन और उसके मार्ग सिखाने से संबंधित यह अगला पद है, पद 12: “वह कौन है जो यहोवा का भय मानता है? यहोवा उसको उसी मार्ग पर जिस से वह प्रसन्न होता है चलाएगा।” यह पद उन विश्वासियों के सामने जो परमेश्वर से सीखना चाहते हैं, दो बातों को विचार करने के लिए रखता है।

• पहली, परमेश्वर सीखने वाले में न केवल नम्रता चाहता है, लेकिन साथ ही यह भी कि वह यहोवा का भय मानता है। बहुत से लोग परमेश्वर का भय रखने का दावा तो करते हैं, किन्तु वे इसे अपने जीवन में व्यावहारिक रीति से प्रकट नहीं करते हैं। अधिकाँश के लिए परमेश्वर का भय रखने का अर्थ होता है अपनी नैतिक और धार्मिक धारणाओं का रीति के अनुसार निर्वाह करते रहना। किन्तु परमेश्वर का वचन हमारे लिए परिभाषित करता है कि वास्तव में परमेश्वर का भय क्या होता है, “यहोवा का भय मानना बुराई से बैर रखना है। घमण्ड, अहंकार, और बुरी चाल से, और उलट फेर की बात से भी मैं बैर रखती हूं” (नीतिवचन 8:13)। इसलिए, वह जो वास्तव में परमेश्वर का भय मानता है, वह हर प्रकार की बुराई से बैर रखेगा, और अपने जीवन के द्वारा उसे व्यावहारिक रीति से भी दिखाएगा। साथ ही वह इस बात के लिए भी सचेत रहेगा कि इस पद में लिखी उन अन्य बातों से भी दूर रहे जिन से परमेश्वर बैर रखता है। यदि हम नीतिवचन 8:13 को, और वचन सीखने से पहले 1 पतरस 2:1 में दी गई अनिवार्यता को साथ रखकर देखें, तो प्रकट है कि दोनों ही जगह पवित्र आत्मा ने एक ही बात को भिन्न शब्दों में लिखवाया है, परन्तु दोनों का मूल-भाव एक ही है। अर्थात् पुराने और नये नियम में, वचन सीखने का आधार बदला नहीं है, अटल परमेश्वर के समान यह सीखने का आधार भी अपरिवर्तनीय ही है। 

• दूसरी, उसे परमेश्वर उसी मार्ग पर जिस से वह प्रसन्न होता है चलाएगा; अर्थात, परमेश्वर ने उसके लिए जो तय किया है, उसके अनुसार उसे सिखाएगा। प्रत्येक विश्वासी के लिए परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही कुछ बातें निर्धारित कर के रखी हैं (इफिसियों 2:10); और उसे के अनुसार उसे आत्मिक वरदान भी दिए हैं कि उस कार्य या सेवकाई का निर्वाह करे (रोमियों 12:6-18)। परमेश्वर उसी के अनुसार सिखाता है, जो वह चाहता है कि वह व्यक्ति उसके लिए करे। बाइबल, परमेश्वर की आशीषों और गुणों का भण्डार है, और हर कोई उस से सीख सकता है; परमेश्वर ने जो कार्य और सेवकाई विश्वासी के लिए निर्धारित की है, उसे के अनुसार सीखने और उस में बढ़ने की योग्यता और क्षमता भी उसे प्रदान करता है। विश्वासी जैसे-जैसे अपनी सेवकाई को पूरा करते हैं, परमेश्वर के प्रति आज्ञाकारी और प्रतिबद्ध बने रहते हैं, परमेश्वर भी उन्हें और बढ़ता एवं परिपक्व करता जाता है, और उनकी विश्वासयोग्यता के लिए उन्हें और अधिक आशीषित करता है, जैसा कि भजन 25:13-14 से प्रकट है।

इसलिए, भजन 25:4 “हे यहोवा अपने मार्ग मुझ को दिखला; अपना पथ मुझे बता दे” परमेश्वर से सीखने की इच्छा रखने वाले प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी की सच्चे मन से की गई प्रार्थना होनी चाहिए। परमेश्वर कभी अपने आप को किसी पर थोपता नहीं है, जब हम उस से माँगते हैं, उसे अनुमति देते हैं, तब वह हमारे जीवनों में अद्भुत कार्य करता है जिन से हमारा लाभ और परमेश्वर की महिमा होती है। अगले लेख से हम 1 कुरिन्थियों 2:12-14 से पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा सिखाए जाने के बारे में देखना आरंभ करेंगे।

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। स्वेच्छा से अपने पापों के लिये पश्चाताप करके, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Learning From the Holy Spirit – 18

 

Since every Born-Again Christian Believer is a steward of the Holy Spirit, who resides in him, and has been given to him by God at the very moment of his being saved, therefore, the Believer should strive to fulfill his stewardship worthily. God the Holy Spirit has been given to the Believer to help and guide him in his Christian life and for fulfilling his God given ministry. The Holy Spirit is also the Believer’s Teacher; besides other things that he needs to learn, the Holy Spirit teaches him God’s Word the Bible too. Since no person is perfect or infallible, since everyone makes mistakes, and since all have the tendency to give prominence to interpretations according to their own understanding, therefore, every Christian Believer should learn the Word of God from the Holy Spirit, instead of relying upon men and their works, to avoid falling into any possible erroneous teachings. It is God’s command that the teachings and interpretations given by men must always be first cross-checked and verified from God’s Word, and accepted only if they are found to be consistent with the Bible. 

In the previous articles we have seen why people rely more upon men to learn God’s Word, than learn from the Holy Spirit; and have seen from 1 Peter 2:1-2 how the Believer should prepare himself to learn from the Holy Spirit. Since the last article, we have started to see from Psalm 25, about God’s teaching His people. This Psalm shows us some very important points to ponder over in learning from God; and it also dispels many common misconceptions related to learning God’s Word and ways, seen amongst the people. From the relevant verses, in the order of the verses, we have seen from verses 8 and 9 in the last article, that God teaches sinners, and He requires humility in the learner. Today we will carry on learning from one more verse.

The next verse related to God’s teaching His Word and ways is Verse 12: “Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.” This verse puts before the Believers wanting to learn from God, two points to consider.

• Firstly, God not only wants humility in the learner, but also that he should be a man that fears the Lord. Many people claim to fear the Lord, but they do not practically demonstrate it through their lives. For most, being in the fear of the Lord usually means a ritualistic observance of their religious and moral beliefs. But God’s Word defines for us, what fear of the Lord actually is, “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate” (Proverbs 8:13). Therefore, the person who actually does fear the Lord, will hate evil in all its forms, and will also demonstrate it practically through his life. And he will also be careful to see that the other things mentioned in this verse, things that God hates, do not have a place in his life. If we take Proverbs 8:13, and see it along with 1 Peter 2:1, the verse that gives the preliminary mandatory condition to being able to learn God’s Word, then it is evident that at both places, the Holy Spirit has had the same thing written, in different words, the basic sense at both places is the same. In other words, in the Old as well as the New Testament, the basis for learning God’s Word never changed, like God is unchanging, His basis for this learning is also unchanging.

• Secondly, God will teach that person; but, Him shall He teach in the way He chooses; i.e., will teach according to what God has chosen for him. For every Believer, God has prepared some things to do beforehand (Ephesians 2:10); and has given him spiritual gifts accordingly, to fulfil that work or ministry (Romans 12:6-8). God teaches according to what He wants that person to do for Him. The Bible is a treasure trove of God’s blessings and abilities, and everyone can learn from it; God will give the ability to learn and grow in the work or ministry that He has assigned to every Believer. As the Believers fulfil their ministry, remain obedient and committed to God in it, God will continue to teach them more, to grow and mature them further, and be more blessed because of their faithful service, as is borne out from Psalm 25:13-14.

Therefore, Psalm 25:4 “Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths” should be the heartfelt prayer of every Christian Believer, to learn from God. God never imposes Himself on anyone, when we ask Him and allow Him, He does wonderful things in our life that will benefit us and glorify Him. In the next article we will begin to see from 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 about the Holy Spirit’s teaching the Believers.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

       पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि परमेश्वर ने आरम्भ से ही गैर- इस्राएलियों  के लिए  इस्राएलियों में सम्मिलित हो जाने, और उनका अभिन्न अँग बन जाने, तथा उनकी इस लोक एवं परलोक की आशीषों में सम्मिलित हो जाने का मार्ग खोल कर रखा हुआ है, और बहुत सारे लोगों ने इसका लाभ भी उठाया है। साथ ही हमने यह भी देखा था कि किसी अन्य-जाति जन का  इस्राएलियों में सम्मिलित होना, पूर्णतः उसकी अपनी इच्छा पर निर्भर था; इसके लिए उसे किसी रीति से बाध्य नहीं किया जाना था, कोई लालच नहीं देना था, ऐसा न करने पर उसकी किसी प्रकार की कोई हानि नहीं करनी थी।  इस्राएलियों में सम्मिलित हो जाने के बाद,वह उनका एक ऐसा भाग बन जाता था, मानों सदा से उनके साथ रहा हो; उसके साथ किसी प्रकार का कोई भेद-भाव नहीं किया जाता था। आज हम परमेश्वर के इस प्रावधान का हमारे इस नए नियम की व्यवस्था के समय में उपयोग के बारे में देखेंगे।

       नए नियम में प्रभु भोज के संदर्भ में, जैसा कि हम पहले भी देख चुके हैं, हर कोई जो स्वेच्छा से प्रभु यीशु मसीह का शिष्य बनने को स्वीकार करता है, उसे समर्पित हो जाता है, उसकी तथा उसके वचन की आज्ञाकारिता में चलने का निर्णय ले लेता है, वह प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग ले सकता है। फिर, प्रभु में लाए गए विश्वास और उसे ग्रहण कर लेने के बाद, यहूदी अथवा गैर-यहूदी होने का कोई महत्व नहीं रह जाता है, उसके आधार पर कोई भेद-भाव नहीं किया जा सकता है। बहुधा कुछ पदों, जैसे कि, इफिसियों 1:4; 2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 2:13; 1 पतरस 1:2, आदि के आधार पर, अर्थात, “पहले से चुने जाने” के आधार पर, यह तर्क दिया जाता है कि क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने पहले से लोगों को चुन लिया है, इसलिए केवल वे ही उद्धार पाएंगे, और शेष सभी नाश हो जाएंगे। यद्यपि इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है कि ये पद स्पष्टतः कुछ लोगों के परमेश्वर द्वारा पहले से चुने हुए होने को कहते और पुष्टि करते हैं, किन्तु साथ ही कहीं पर भी बाइबल यह नहीं कहती है कि केवल यही चुने हुए ही बचाए जाएंगे, और शेष सभी नाश हो जाएंगे! यह मनुष्य की बनाई हुई धारणा है, परमेश्वर की कही बात के आधार पर मनुष्य द्वारा एक गढ़ा गया तर्क है, परमेश्वर द्वारा कही गई बात नहीं है। जिस प्रकार से इस्राएली परमेश्वर की चुनी हुई प्रजा थे, उनके जन्म से भी पहले परमेश्वर ने उन्हें चुन लिया था, किन्तु फिर भी परमेश्वर ने उनमें अन्य लोगों के सम्मिलित होने के लिए मार्ग बना कर दिया था, उसे खुला रखा हुआ था। इसी प्रकार से, जो लोग प्रभु यीशु मसीह के साथ जुड़ना चाहते हैं, अर्थात नया जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासी बनना चाहते हैं, वे भी बन सकते हैं, यदि वे स्वेच्छा से प्रभु यीशु को अपना उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार करके, उसे समर्पित हो जाने और उसकी तथा उसके वचन की आज्ञाकारिता में जीवन जीने का निर्णय कर लेते हैं। स्वर्ग में प्रवेश कर पाने का द्वार किसी के लिए भी बंद नहीं किया गया है, चाहे वह पहले से चुना हुआ हो अथवा नहीं हो। प्रत्येक जो परमेश्वर की वाचाओं के अधीन होकर, उसके नियमों, उसके उद्धार के मार्ग का पालन करने के लिए तैयार है, उसे ऐसा करने के लिए स्वागत है। वे पहले प्रभु को ग्रहण करके, प्रभु यीशु के शिष्य बनकर, तब प्रभु के मेज़ में भाग लें।

        प्रभु भोज, इसमें भाग लेने वालों को स्मरण दिलाता है कि यद्यपि उन्हें इसमें भाग लेने का यह आदर प्राप्त हुआ है, लेकिन अभी बाहर और लोग हैं, जिन्हें भी अन्दर लाए जाने की आवश्यकता है, जिन्हें अभी समय और अवसर रहते सुसमाचार के बारे में, परमेश्वर द्वारा दिए गए और उद्धार के लिए खुले हुए द्वार के बारे में बताने की, उन्हें दिखाने की आवश्यकता है; इससे पहले कि द्वार हमेशा के लिए बंद हो जाए और संसार पर न्याय का समय आ पड़े।

        यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं तथा आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है। आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे। 

        यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

The Passover & The Lord’s Table - Invitation to Become God’s People (2)

 

       We had seen in the last article that since the beginning God had made the provision for the non-Israelites i.e., Gentiles joining and getting amalgamated amongst the Israelites, becoming an inseparable part and becoming partakers of the blessings of Israel in this world as well as the next. We had also seen that for a Gentile to join the Israelites, it had to be his own voluntary decision; he was not to be in any way compelled, enticed, or threatened of any harm, if he was not willing to join them.  Once he joined the Israelites, he would become a part of them, as if he always had been with them; there was to not be not to be discriminated against in any way. Today we will consider the application of this provision of God in our times of the New Testament.

        In the New Testament context of the Holy Communion, as we have seen before, everyone who voluntarily and willingly becomes a disciple of the Lord Jesus, submits to Him, decides to live in obedience to Him and His Word, can participate in the Lord’s Table. There is no differentiation, no importance of being a Jew or a Gentile before coming to faith in the Lord, and accepting Him. Often, on the grounds of some verses, e.g., Ephesians 1:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:2, etc., i.e., on the grounds of “pre-destination”, of God having chosen beforehand, it is argued that only these chosen ones will be saved, rest will perish. While there is no doubt or argument that these verses certainly support and affirm the concept of being chosen by God beforehand, of “pre-destination”, but nowhere does the Bible ever say that other than these pre-destined ones, all the others will perish! This is a man-made assumption, a contrived corollary to what God has said, and not something said by God. As the Israelites were the chosen people of God, chosen even before they were born, but still God had left a way open for others to join them and become one with them; similarly, those who want to join the people of the Lord Jesus, i.e., the Born-Again Christian Believers, they can do so, if they voluntarily are willing to accept the Lord Jesus as their savior and Lord, submit to Him, and live in obedience to Him and His Word. The door to be able to enter heaven has not been shut on anyone, whether chosen beforehand or not; whoever is willing to come under, accept and follow God’s covenant, God’s law, God’s way of salvation, is welcome to first do so, and then as a child of God, as a disciple of Christ, to participate in the Lord’s Table.

        The Holy Communion reminds the participants that though they have been given this privilege of partaking in it, but there are others outside, who need to be brought in, who need to be told about the Gospel and shown God’s open door to be saved, while there is time and opportunity available to them; before the doors are finally shut, and the time of judgment comes upon people of the world.

       If you are a Christian Believer, and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually a disciple of the Lord, i.e., are redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers, first check and test all teachings that you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

        If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

पिछले दो लेखों में हमने देखा है कि सुसमाचार पुराने नियम का एक भाग है, प्रतिज्ञा किए हुए मसीहा से सम्बन्धित भविष्यवाणियों के रूप में; वह मसीहा जो समस्त मानव जाति के लिए उद्धार का मार्ग तैयार करके उपलब्ध करवाएगा। प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने उसके बारे में, उसके जन्म से सैकड़ों और हजारों वर्ष पहले लिखी गई बातों को पूरा किया। यह सभी बाइबल के परमेश्वर का वचन होने की पुष्टि करता है। आज हम देखेंगे कि किस प्रकार सुसमाचार परमेश्वर द्वारा कोई बाद में सोची और जोड़ी गई बात नहीं है, वरन् सृष्टि के समय से ही स्थापित है। 

क्योंकि पवित्र शास्त्र, अर्थात वर्तमान के पुराने नियम में एक उद्धारकर्ता के जन्म और छुटकारे के कार्य के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई थी, इसीलिए प्रभु यीशु की सेवकाई के समय में लोगों को यह अंदेशा था कि उस उद्धारकर्ता के आने का समय हो गया है, वे उसकी बाट जोह रहे थे। इसी प्रत्याशा में यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देने वाले ने अपनी सेवकाई आरंभ की, और जब वह आया तो उसे पहचान लिया दूसरे दिन उसने यीशु को अपनी ओर आते देखकर कहा, देखो, यह परमेश्वर का मेम्ना है, जो जगत के पाप उठा ले जाता है (यूहन्ना 1:29)। यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देने वाले के शिष्य अन्द्रियास ने, यूहन्ना के कहने पर प्रभु यीशु को मसीह स्वीकार कर लिया, उसने पहिले अपने सगे भाई शमौन से मिलकर उस से कहा, कि हम को ख्रिस्तुस अर्थात मसीह मिल गया” (यूहन्ना 1:41)। सामान्य लोगों में भी यही प्रत्याशा थी जैसा सामरी स्त्री ने प्रभु यीशु से कहा, स्त्री ने उस से कहा, मैं जानती हूं कि मसीह जो ख्रीस्‍तुस कहलाता है, आने वाला है; जब वह आएगा, तो हमें सब बातें बता देगा। आओ, एक मनुष्य को देखो, जिसने सब कुछ जो मैं ने किया मुझे बता दिया: कहीं यह तो मसीह नहीं है? (यूहन्ना 4:25, 29)।

यह सभी दिखाता है कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह में उद्धार का सुसमाचार नए नियम से भी पहले का है, पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार है, पुराने नियम के आरंभ में से ही उसके बारे में लिख दिया गया था, उसकी योजना बनाई जा चुकी थी। किन्तु अद्भुत बात यह है कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह का अपने बलिदान के द्वारा छुटकारे का, पापों से क्षमा और उद्धार का मार्ग प्रदान करने का कार्य जगत की उत्पत्ति से पहले ही स्थापित कर दिया गया था उसका ज्ञान तो जगत की उत्पत्ति के पहिले ही से जाना गया था, पर अब इस अन्तिम युग में तुम्हारे लिये प्रगट हुआ (1 पतरस 1:20), और वह घात या बलि जगत की उत्पत्ति के समय हुआ, और पृथ्वी के वे सब रहने वाले जिन के नाम उस मेम्ने की जीवन की पुस्तक में लिखे नहीं गए, जो जगत की उत्पत्ति के समय से घात हुआ है, उस पशु की पूजा करेंगे” (प्रकाशितवाक्य 13:8)। 

अर्थात, प्रभु यीशु मसीह में होकर पापों की क्षमा और उद्धार का यह सुसमाचार न तो मनुष्य के पाप करने के बाद, परिस्थिति के अनुसार, बाद में लिया गया निर्णय और किया गया कार्य है; और न ही मनुष्यों की कल्पनाओं और विचारों की गढ़ी हुई बात है। यह जगत की उत्पत्ति से पहले स्थापित हो गया था, और जगत की उत्पत्ति के समय, इससे पहले कि मनुष्य की सृष्टि भी होती और वो पाप में गिराया जाता, उसे पाप से छुड़ाने का प्रयोजन और क्रिया को परमेश्वर ने तैयार कर के रख लिया था। इसीलिए इसे “eternal salvation” या “सदा काल का उद्धार” कहा गया है (इब्रानियों 5:9)। 

ये बातें सुसमाचार के महत्व, सिद्धता, शुद्धता और पवित्रता को दिखाती हैं; बताती हैं कि कैसे सुसमाचार से की गई थोड़ी से भी छेड़ा-खानी, परमेश्वर द्वारा बनाई और स्थापित की गई इस योजना में की गई कोई भी मिलावट, उसमें डाली गई कोई भी अतिरिक्त बात, उसे भ्रष्ट कर देगी, उसे अप्रभावी बना देगी। अगले लेख में हम देखेंगे के शैतान किन युक्तियों तथा ‘धार्मिक’ प्रतीत होने वाली बातों के द्वारा सुसमाचार को अप्रभावी बनाता है, और हमें अपनी चालाकियों और बहकावे की युक्तियों द्वारा उस भ्रष्ट सुसमाचार के चक्करों में फँसा कर, वास्तविक और सच्चे सुसमाचार को हमारे जीवनों में कार्यकारी एवं प्रभावी होने से रोक देता है, हमें अपने चंगुल में फंसाए रखता है। और हम यही सोचते रह जाते हैं, इसी भ्रम में पड़े रह जाते हैं, कि हम ने भी उद्धार पा लिया, और अब हम परमेश्वर के हाथों में सुरक्षित हो गए हैं, जबकि वास्तविकता में हम शैतान ही के हाथों में पड़े हुए होते हैं और उस स्थिति में हमारा भी वही अन्त होगा जो शैतान का होगा। 

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़े हों। यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें। 

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

The Gospel - Established Even Before Creation (3)

In the previous two articles we have seen about the gospel being part of the Old Testament, as prophecies about the promised Messiah, who would provide the way for salvation for all of mankind; and that the Lord Jesus fulfilled all that had been written about Him hundreds and thousands of years before His birth. All of this affirms the divine nature of God's Word, the Bible. Today we will see how the gospel is not an afterthought added by God, but had been established since the time of creation.

Since in the Scriptures, i.e., the Old Testament, detailed knowledge is given about the deliverer, the savior, and deliverance through him, therefore during the days of the Lord Jesus’s earthly ministry, the people had a strong anticipation that the time to fulfillment is complete, the savior is about to be born, and they were all waiting for Him. John the Baptist too, began his ministry with a similar anticipation, and recognized Him when he came to him The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29). Andrew, the disciple of John the Baptist, on hearing this from John accepted Christ Jesus and also called his brother, Simon Peter to meet the Lord He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated, the Christ) (John 1:41). Even the general public had a similar anticipation about Him, as the Samaritan woman at the well said to the Lord Jesus The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming" (who is called Christ). "When He comes, He will tell us all things. Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?" (John 4:25, 29).

All of this shows that the news about salvation through the Lord Jesus, the gospel predates the New Testament, is according to the Scriptures, it had been written in the very beginning of the Old Testament, its plan had already been made. But the astounding and wonderful thing is that the way of forgiveness of sins and salvation through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ had already been established by God even before the creation of the world He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you (1 Peter 1:20); and the Lord had been sacrificed at the time of creation, All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8).

In other words, this good news of salvation, this gospel of the forgiveness of sins and salvation through the Lord Jesus was neither an afterthought after man sinned, nor was it thought of and brought about later according to an unexpected situation that happened to come about, nor is it a product of man’s imaginations and thinking. It had been put into place before the creation of the world, and at the time of creation, even before man was created and fell into sin, God had already prepared and put in place the way for deliverance of man from sin. Therefore, it has been called “eternal salvation” (Hebrews 5:9).

These things show to us the importance, perfection, purity, and holiness of the Gospel; they put before us that how even a little tampering with the Gospel, and admixture into it of any kind, anything added to what God has prepared and put in place, will not improve it, but will spoil and corrupt it, and render it ineffective. In the next article we will see how Satan brings in his tricks and devices and seemingly ‘religious’ thoughts, and thereby makes the Gospel ineffective; and then he entangles us in that corrupted, ineffective ‘gospel’ so that we remain in his clutches, while he makes us think and believe that we are ‘saved’ and safe in the hands of God, although we actually are very much in Satan’s hands and going to suffer the same fate that he will.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. पिछले लेख से हमने देखना आरम्भ किया है कि सुसमाचार कैसे पहले ही से पुराने नियम में दिया गया था, और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की सेवकाई से संबंधित सभी बातों की भविष्यवाणी पुराने नियम में दी हुई है। प्रभु यीशु मसीह के जीवन, सेवकाई, बलिदान, और पुनरुत्थान से सम्बन्धित ऐसी कोई बात नहीं है, जो पहले से ही पवित्रशास्त्र में लिखी हुई न हो। प्रभु यीशु मसीह न जो कुछ उनके बारे में लिखा गया था, उसे पूरा किया। आज हम इसी के बार में परमेश्वर के वचन से कुछ और बातों को देखेंगे। 

बाइबल में उद्धारकर्ता की पहली प्रतिज्ञा, आदम और हव्वा के पाप करने के साथ ही, परमेश्वर ने अदन की वाटिका में ही कर दी थी - और मैं तेरे और इस स्त्री के बीच में, और तेरे वंश और इसके वंश के बीच में बैर उत्पन्न करूंगा, वह तेरे सिर को कुचल डालेगा, और तू उसकी एड़ी को डसेगा (उत्पत्ति 3:15)। सामान्यतः किसी भी परिवार में, “वंश” पुरुष के द्वारा ज़ारी रखा माना जाता है, पुरुष का ही माना जाता है। किन्तु यहाँ परमेश्वर ने “स्त्री के वंश” की बात की, जो उस सर्प रूपी शैतान के सिर को कुचलने वाले उद्धारकर्ता, प्रभु यीशु मसीह के, बिना पुरुष के साथ मेल के कुँवारी स्त्री से जन्म लेने, और शैतान के कार्यों का तथा उसका नाश करके मानव जाति के उद्धार के कार्य को संपन्न करने की पहली भविष्यवाणी थी। और इसी भविष्यवाणी के अनुसार प्रभु यीशु के जन्म के समय मरियम को आश्वस्त किया गया, स्वर्गदूत ने उस से कहा, हे मरियम; भयभीत न हो, क्योंकि परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह तुझ पर हुआ है। और देख, तू गर्भवती होगी, और तेरे एक पुत्र उत्पन्न होगा; तू उसका नाम यीशु रखना। मरियम ने स्वर्गदूत से कहा, यह क्योंकर होगा? मैं तो पुरुष को जानती ही नहीं। स्वर्गदूत ने उसको उत्तर दिया; कि पवित्र आत्मा तुझ पर उतरेगा, और परमप्रधान की सामर्थ्य तुझ पर छाया करेगी इसलिये वह पवित्र जो उत्पन्न होनेवाला है, परमेश्वर का पुत्र कहलाएगा। (लूका 1:30-31, 34-35)

नए नियम में इब्रानियों की पत्री में, प्रभु यीशु मसीह के मनुष्य रूप में पृथ्वी पर आने के समय का वार्तालाप दर्ज किया गया है: इसी कारण वह जगत में आते समय कहता है, कि बलिदान और भेंट तू ने न चाही, पर मेरे लिये एक देह तैयार किया। होम-बलियों और पाप-बलियों से तू प्रसन्न नहीं हुआ। तब मैं ने कहा, देख, मैं आ गया हूं, (पवित्र शास्त्र में मेरे विषय में लिखा हुआ है) ताकि हे परमेश्वर तेरी इच्छा पूरी करूं (इब्रानियों 10:5-7)। ये पद भी हमारे लिए सुसमाचार के बारे में कुछ बहुत महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य रखते हैं - 

* जैसे परमेश्वर ने उत्पत्ति 3:15 में “स्त्री के वंश” की बात कही थी, उसकी के अनुसार, कुँवारी मरियम के गर्भ में पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य से एक मानव देह तैयार कर के रखी गई जिसमें होकर परमेश्वर पुत्र - प्रभु यीशु ने जगत में, बिना किसी पुरुष के योगदान के, एक कुँवारी से जन्म लिया।

* प्रभु का जगत में आना परमेश्वर की इच्छा को पूरा करने के लिए था - अर्थात परमेश्वर पिता की यह इच्छा पहले से ही विद्यमान थी, जिसे पूरा करने के लिए परमेश्वर पुत्र ने स्वर्ग का वैभव, आदर, और महिमा छोड़कर, अपने आप को शून्य करके (फिलिप्पियों 2:5-8) पृथ्वी पर आना स्वीकार किया। 

* प्रभु यीशु के विषय यह सब पवित्र शास्त्र में पहले से ही लिखा हुआ था। 

प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने अपने पुनरुत्थान के बाद, इम्माऊस के मार्ग पर जा रहे अपने दो शिष्यों के साथ हुई बातचीत में उन्हें स्मरण करवाया, फिर उसने उन से कहा, ये मेरी वे बातें हैं, जो मैं ने तुम्हारे साथ रहते हुए, तुम से कही थीं, कि अवश्य है, कि जितनी बातें मूसा की व्यवस्था और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं और भजनों की पुस्तकों में, मेरे विषय में लिखी हैं, सब पूरी हों (लूका 24:44)। प्रेरित पौलुस के जीवन-परिवर्तन के बाद, पुराने नियम के अपने ज्ञान के आधार पर उसने और वह तुरन्त आराधनालयों में यीशु का प्रचार करने लगा, कि वह परमेश्वर का पुत्र है। परन्तु शाऊल और भी सामर्थी होता गया, और इस बात का प्रमाण दे देकर कि मसीह यही है, दमिश्क के रहने वाले यहूदियों का मुंह बन्द करता रहा (प्रेरितों 9:20, 22)। इसी प्रकार अपुल्लोस भी, जो पवित्र शास्त्र का अच्छा गया रखता था, अपुल्लोस नाम एक यहूदी जिस का जन्म सिकन्‍दिरया में हुआ था, जो विद्वान पुरुष था और पवित्र शास्त्र को अच्छी तरह से जानता था इफिसुस में आया। क्योंकि वह पवित्र शास्त्र से प्रमाण दे देकर, कि यीशु ही मसीह है; बड़ी प्रबलता से यहूदियों को सब के सामने निरुत्तर करता रहा (प्रेरितों 18:24, 28)।

अगले लेख में हम सुसमाचार के बारे में विचार करना ज़ारी रखेंगे, और देखेंगे कि कैसे यह आरम्भ से ही परमेश्वर की योजना का भाग है; और प्रभु यीशु के पृथ्वी पर आने के समय लोगों में प्रतिज्ञा किए हुए मसीहा के आने की प्रत्याशा थी।

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

The Gospel - Established Even Before Creation (2)

Since the last article we have begun to see how the gospel has been in place even in the Old Testament, and everything about the Lord Jesus's ministry had been prophesied in the Old Testament. Nothing of the Lord Jesus's life, ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection was unanticipated. The Lord Jesus only fulfilled what had already been written about Him. Today, we will continue considering some more aspects of this from God's Word. 

The first promise of the Savior was given by God at the same time that Adam and Eve sinned - And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel (Genesis 3:15). Generally speaking, in any family, the “seed” or posterity is considered to be from the man; the man is considered to be the one responsible for carrying forward the genealogy of the family. But here, God spoke of “her Seed”, i.e., the woman’s seed, who will crush the head of the serpent, of Satan, and be the savior of the world. That the Lord Jesus would be born of a woman without her conceiving and giving birth through the natural process of conception through man, and then destroy Satan and his works, was the first prophecy of salvation. It was according to this prophecy that at the time of the Lord’s coming to earth, Mary was assured, “Then the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?" And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:30-31, 34-35).

In the New Testament, in the book of Hebrews, the Lord’s conversation with God the Father, at the time of His coming to earth is given: Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come-- In the volume of the book it is written of Me-- To do Your will, O God.' " (Hebrews 10:5-7). These verses too present some very pertinent facts about the Gospel before us -

* In accordance with what the Lord God spoke of in Genesis 3:15, about “her seed”, in the womb of the virgin Mary, a human body was prepared, and placed in Mary’s womb by the Holy Spirit; and through that, the Son of God, was “conceived” in a woman, without any man, and was born into this world.

* The Lord Jesus’s coming into this world was to fulfill the will of God; i.e., this will or desire was present in God the Father since beforehand. To fulfill this will, God the Son emptied Himself of the glory, honour, and majesty of heaven (Philippians 2:5-8), willingly accepted to come down and be born on earth as the only begotten Son of God.

* This had already been written down about the Lord Jesus centuries before His birth.

After His resurrection, during His conversation with two of His disciples, on the way to Emmaus, He reminded them of this, Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me." (Luke 24:44). The apostle Paul, after he was saved and his life was changed, on the basis of the Old Testament Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God. But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ (Acts 9:20, 22). Similarly, Apollos as well, who had a good knowledge of the Scriptures, Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. for he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ (Acts 18:24, 28).

In the next article, continuing our considerations about the gospel, we will see that it was part of God's plan since the beginning; and the people were already in anticipation of the arrival of the promised Messiah, when the Lord Jesus came to earth.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा; और पिछले कुछ लेखों से हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है। इन आरंभिक लेखों में हम सही सुसमाचार क्या है, यह देख और समझ रहे हैं, जिससे गलत या भ्रष्ट को पहचान सकें, स्वयं भी उस से बच कर रह सकें तथा औरों को भी बचा सकें। इसके लिए हमें पहले बाइबल में सुसमाचार के बारे में दी गई सही शिक्षाओं को समझना होगा। पिछले लेखों में हमने देखा है कि सुसमाचार संसार के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के लिए है, चाहे उसका धर्म, धारणा, मान्यता कुछ भी हो; ईसाइयों या मसीहियों के लिए भी। सभी को उसके लिए व्यक्तिगत रीति से निर्णय लेना है। सुसमाचार कोई रीति, या परंपरा, या विधि नहीं है जिसके निर्वाह के द्वारा व्यक्ति इतना धर्मी बन जाता है कि परमेश्वर उसे स्वर्ग में स्वीकार करने के लिये बाध्य हो जाता है। सुसमाचार सारी मानव-जाति के लिये परमेश्वर द्वारा उपलब्ध करवाई गई जानकारी है कि प्रभु यीशु में होकर सभी के लिये, चाहे वह किसी भी धर्म, जाति, समुदाय, आयु, धरना, आदि का क्यों न हो, पापों से मुक्ति या उद्धार, सेंत-मेंत में उपलब्ध है। सुसमाचार का व्यक्ति के जीवन में कार्यकारी होना उसके सच्चे समर्पित मन से अपने पापों के लिए पश्चाताप और प्रभु यीशु से पापों के क्षमा माँगकर उसे समर्पित हो जाने से आरंभ होता है। आज हम इस सुसमाचार के विषय परमेश्वर की योजना के बारे में देखेंगे।  

सुसमाचार - सृष्टि के आरंभ से भी पहले परमेश्वर द्वारा स्थापित 

बहुधा लोगों की यह धारणा रहती है कि प्रभु यीशु में पापों की क्षमा और उद्धार तथा उससे संबंधित आशीषों का यह सुसमाचार नए नियम, या प्रभु यीशु के आगमन और सेवकाई के साथ आरंभ हुआ है। संसार के बहुत से लोग तो प्रभु यीशु के विषय यह धारणा भी रखते हैं कि वह एक भक्त यहूदी था, जिसके जीवन से उस समय के बहुत से लोग बहुत प्रभावित हुए थे, और उसके बाद, उसके अनुयायियों ने उसके नाम में कुछ शिक्षाओं और बातों को बना कर फैला दिया, जिनमें से एक यह उसके नाम में विश्वास द्वारा पापों से क्षमा और उद्धार की बात भी है। किन्तु बहुत कम लोगों को यह पता है कि इस सुसमाचार का उल्लेख पुराने नियम में भी है, और इसका आरंभ सृष्टि के पहले से है। परमेश्वर का वचन बाइबल हमें सुसमाचार में होकर परमेश्वर की इस उद्धार की योजना के विषय सामान्य धारणाओं और विचारों से बहुत भिन्न तथ्य प्रदान करती है। बाइबल के इन तथ्यों को देखना आरंभ हम सुसमाचार के संक्षिप्त रूप, उसके सार को परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में प्रेरित पौलुस द्वारा कुरिन्थुस की मण्डली को लिखी गई पहली पत्री में से देखने के साथ करते हैं: हे भाइयों, मैं तुम्हें वही सुसमाचार बताता हूं जो पहिले सुना चुका हूं, जिसे तुम ने अंगीकार भी किया था और जिस में तुम स्थिर भी हो। उसी के द्वारा तुम्हारा उद्धार भी होता है, यदि उस सुसमाचार को जो मैं ने तुम्हें सुनाया था स्मरण रखते हो; नहीं तो तुम्हारा विश्वास करना व्यर्थ हुआ। इसी कारण मैं ने सब से पहिले तुम्हें वही बात पहुंचा दी, जो मुझे पहुंची थी, कि पवित्र शास्त्र के वचन के अनुसार यीशु मसीह हमारे पापों के लिये मर गया। ओर गाड़ा गया; और पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार तीसरे दिन जी भी उठा (1 कुरिन्थियों 15:1-4)। 

ये पद इस बात को स्पष्ट कर देते हैं कि उद्धार के सुसमाचार का मर्म, प्रभु यीशु मसीह का पृथ्वी पर आना, मानव-जाति के पापों के लिए मारा जाना, गाड़ा जाना, और तीसरे दिन जी उठना, इनमें से कोई भी बात आकस्मिक या अनपेक्षित नहीं थीं। वरन, ये सारी बातें जो हुईं, वे सभी “पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार” ही हुईं; अर्थात पवित्र शस्त्र में, जो उस समय वर्तमान का पुराना नियम था, पहले से ही लिखी हुई थीं, और उन्हीं भविष्यवाणी की बातों की पूर्ति प्रभु यीशु के जीवन के द्वारा हुई!

आने वाले लेखों में हम देखेंगे कि सुसमाचार पुराने नियम में दिया गया है, और सृष्टि के समय से ही स्थापित है।

The Gospel - Established Even Before Creation (1)

In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. Now, recently we have started to take up the wrong teachings about the Gospel. In the introductory articles on this topic, we had seen what the true gospel is, so that we will be able to identify the false or the corrupted gospel, so that we can remain safe from it, and keep others also safe. For this we first need to know, learn, and understand the correct or Biblical things about the Gospel. We have seen in the previous articles that the gospel is for each and every one, whatever be the person's religion, concepts, beliefs; even for the Christians. Everyone has to make a personal decision about the gospel for themselves.  The gospel is an information from God for all of mankind, irrespective of religion, caste, creed, age, belief etc. for being saved from sins freely through the Lord Jesus. It is not a tradition, ritual, or method, the fulfillment of which enables a person to reach a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” so that God becomes compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. The Gospel becomes effective and working in a person’s life by his repenting of his sins, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive him, and surrendering his life to the Lord Jesus. Today we will see since when this plan of salvation for mankind had been prepared and put in place by God.

Gospel - Established by God since before the creation

Many people have this misconception that this gospel of forgiveness of sins and salvation along with its related blessings started with the New Testament, with the coming of the Lord Jesus and His ministry. Many people of the world also have this wrong notion that the Lord Jesus was actually a very devout Jew, and people were very impressed by His life at that time. After He was gone, His disciples added some things into His life-story, and then spread their concocted story; and one of the additions was that believing in His name will bring forgiveness of sins and salvation from God. But very few people know that the Gospel has been mentioned in the Old Testament as well, and its beginning is since before the creation. God’s Word the Bible provides to us a very different picture than what is commonly thought and believed by people regarding the gospel and salvation. Let us begin by looking into the Biblical facts about salvation from what the apostle Paul wrote in his first letter to the Corinthians Believers under the guidance of the Holy Spirit: Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

These verses make it clear that the core of the gospel of salvation, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth, His sacrificing Himself for the sins of the entire mankind, His death, burial, and resurrection, none of these things were unforeseen, unexpected, or unplanned. Rather, all these things that happened, they were “according to the Scriptures” - all of them. They had all been written down in the then Scriptures, which is the present day “Old Testament” section of the Bible, these prophecies were fulfilled by the Lord Jesus in His lifetime.

We will continue considering about the gospel being stated in the Old Testament, established at creation in the coming articles.
