प्रभु यीशु, पवित्र आत्मा, तथा सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाएँ - संक्षिप्त पुनःअवलोकन (1)

        पिछले लेखों में (मार्च 25 - अप्रैल 24 2025 के लेख) हमने देखा है कि प्रभु ने अपनी कलीसिया और अपने विश्वासियों की आत्मिक उन्नति के लिए उन में विभिन्न प्रकार की वचन की सेवकाई करने वालों को नियुक्त किया है (इफिसियों 4:11-12)। इन सेवकों की सेवकाई से होने वाली उन्नति और परिपक्वता की चरम सीमा है सभी मसीही विश्वासियों और पृथ्वी की सभी स्थानीय कलीसियाओं का इफिसियों 4:13 के अनुरूप हो जाना। इस 13 पद के संदर्भ में, जैसा हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं, यहाँ मूल यूनानी भाषा के जिस शब्द का अनुवाद “सिद्ध” किया गया है, उसका शब्दार्थ होता है “पूर्णतः सुसज्जित” होना, अर्थात किसी भी कार्य या ज़िम्मेदारी के निर्वाह के लिए पूरी तरह से तैयार और आवश्यक संसाधनों एवं उपकरणों तथा समझ-बूझ से लैस होना।

        फिर हमने इफिसियों 4:14 से बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की पहचान देखी थी कि वे बहुत सरलता से शैतान द्वारा मनुष्यों में होकर प्रयोग की जाने वाली ठग-विद्या का शिकार हो जाते हैं; भ्रम की युक्तियों में फंस जाते हैं; और भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं। इस संदर्भ में हमने देखा है कि इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं, जो उनके गलत और अस्वीकार्य होने तथा उनसे सचेत रहने की प्रमुख पहचान हैं। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार, जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता। किन्तु साथ ही इसी पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। तात्पर्य यह है कि किसी भी शिक्षा, प्रचार, और व्यवहार में यदि कुछ भी बाइबल से बाहर का या बाइबल के अनुरूप नहीं है, तो वह शिक्षा, प्रचार, और व्यवहार गलत है, अस्वीकार्य है। इसलिए बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान (प्रेरितों 17:11) बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है।

        फिर हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, इन तीनों विषयों से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं और बाइबल की सही शिक्षाओं को देखा था।

        हमने पहले तो प्रेरितों के काम में से प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित शिक्षाओं को देखा (अप्रैल 25-29, 2025 के लेख), वे संक्षेप में यह हैं:

           * प्रभु यीशु पूर्णतः परमेश्वर और पूर्णतः मनुष्य हैं।

           * उनके और उनकी सेवकाई के विषय पुराने नियम की सभी पुस्तकों में पहले से लिखा गया है।

           * प्रभु यीशु कलवरी के क्रूस पर मारे गए, गाड़े गए, और तीसरे दिन मृतकों में से जी भी उठे।

           * उद्धार केवल प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा है, अन्य किसी के द्वारा नहीं।

          * प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास लाने वालों के जीवन बदल जाते हैं, वे निडर और परमेश्वर के प्रभावी जन बन जाते हैं, उन में होकर परमेश्वर अपनी अद्भुत सामर्थ्य संसार पर प्रकट करता है।

         * जगत के अन्त के समय, प्रभु यीशु ही के द्वारा सभी का न्याय किया जाएगा, और उन्हें उनके जीवन और कार्यों के अनुसार प्रतिफल अथवा दण्ड दिए जाएंगे।

        यद्यपि प्रभु यीशु के विषय यह सूची अंतिम या पूर्ण नहीं है, किन्तु प्रभु यीशु के विषय जिस भी प्रचार में ये बातें नहीं हैं, या इन बातों को बदलकर बताया जाता है, वह प्रचार गलत है, झूठा है, अस्वीकार्य है।

        यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, तथा संपूर्ण जगत के समस्त लोगों के लिए पापों की क्षमा और उद्धार के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं अथवा धारणाओं में न पड़े हों। उपरोक्त बातों के अनुसार अपने आप को जाँचने के द्वारा यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आपने सच्चे सुसमाचार पर सच्चा विश्वास किया है, और आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं, और परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा के चलाए चल रहे हैं। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए।

        यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

English Translation

Wrong Teachings Regarding the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel - a Brief Recapitulation (1)

        

       We have seen in the previous articles (March 25 - April 24 2025 articles) that the Lord has appointed ministers for various ministries in His Church and amongst the Christian Believers, for their edification and spiritual growth (Ephesians 4:11-12). The pinnacle of the edification and spiritual growth through these ministries is that all the local churches and all Christian Believers throughout the world conform to Ephesians 4:13. In context of this verse 13, as we have seen earlier in the article of October 29, the word used in the original Greek language and translated here as “perfect”, literally means to “be complete in all manner”, i.e., to be fully ready and prepared, to be properly equipped, to have taken up the necessary provisions, equipment, wisdom and understanding to fulfill the given responsibility.

        Then, from Ephesians 4:14 we saw the characteristics of child-like and immature Christian Believers, that they very easily get carried away and misled into wrong doctrines and false teachings by the cunningness and trickery of devious men. We had seen from 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 that Satan and his messengers beguile the immature Believers by masquerading as false apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light. These deceivers and their deceptive doctrines and teachings, both appear to be very attractive, interesting, and knowledgeable, even very pious and reverential. But always there are things not given in the Bible in what they preach, teach, and practice; and this is what identifies them as wrong and untrustworthy, so that we should be wary of them and should reject them and their teachings. The wrong doctrines and false teachings preached and taught by them are mainly on three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel; as  the Holy Spirit has had it written through Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify the correct from the wrong and to stay safe from Satan’s ploys has also been given - all that is correct and true about these three topics, has already been given and written in God’s Word. The implication is that in any preaching, teaching, and behavior, whatever is not from, or, according to the Bible, is wrong and satanic, and should not be accepted. Therefore, like the Berean Believers (Acts 17:11), by cross-checking to confirm the preaching, teachings, and behavior from God’s Word the Bible, the right and the wrong can be identified.

        After this we started to see the wrong teachings about these three topics, and also what the correct teachings from the Bible actually are.

        We first saw from the Book of Acts, in the articles of April 25-29, 2025, the teachings about the Lord Jesus. In brief, these are:

* The Lord Jesus is fully God and fully man.

* About Him and His ministry, it has been written beforehand in the books of the Old Testament.

* The Lord Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary, was buried, and rose again from the dead on the third day.

* Salvation is only through the Lord Jesus and no one or nothing else.

* The lives of those who believe in the Lord Jesus are transformed; they become fearless and effective ministers of the Lord God, and God demonstrates His wonderful power to the world through them.

* At the end of the world, everyone will be judged by the Lord Jesus, and everyone will receive rewards or retribution according to what they have done and not done in their life on earth.

        Although, this list is neither complete nor final, but if in any preaching and teaching about the Lord Jesus if these things are not there, or if they have been altered and manipulated, then that preaching and teaching is false, is unacceptable, and has to be rejected.

        If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

        If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

सही सुसमाचार के 7 प्रभाव (2)

पिछले लेखों में हमने गलातीयों 1:1-7 से वास्तविक सुसमाचार के 7 गुणों या स्वभावों को देखा है, जिससे असली और नकली सुसमाचार के मध्य पहचान कर सकें। पिछले लेख से हमने उन 7 प्रभावों को देखना आरम्भ किया है जो असली सुसमाचार के मानने से व्यक्ति के जीवन में आते हैं, जब वह सच्चे सुसमाचार को ग्रहण करके उसके अनुसार जीवन जीना आरम्भ करता है। पिछले लेख में हमने गलातीयों अध्याय 1 में से इनमें से पहले दो प्रभाव देखे हैं। शेष पाँच प्रभाव अध्याय 2 में हैं, जिन्हें हम आज के लेख में देखेंगे।

असली सुसमाचार के 7 प्रभाव:

पिछले लेख में हम गलातीयों 1 अध्याय से असली या सही सुसमाचार के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु के सच्चे विश्वासी जन और उसकी वास्तविक कलीसिया में आने वाले पहले दो प्रभावों को देख चुके हैं। इनमें से पहला प्रभाव है कि सही या वास्तविक सुसमाचार व्यक्ति को मनुष्यों के नहीं परमेश्वर के भय और आज्ञाकारिता में चलने, हर परिस्थिति और हर कीमत पर केवल परमेश्वर ही को प्रसन्न करने की मनसा में बने रहने की सामर्थ्य और मार्गदर्शन देता है, और मनुष्यों के एहसान, नियंत्रण, तथा अधीनता में रहने के स्वभाव से मुक्त करता है। और दूसरा प्रभाव है कि सही या असली सुसमाचार परमेश्वर के लोगों के मध्य परस्पर प्रेम, मेल-मिलाप, सहभागिता, सहिष्णुता को बढ़ावा देता है, एक दूसरे के लिए परमेश्वर की महिमा करने को प्रेरित करता है, न कि विभाजन, बैर, अलगाव और विरोध तथा एक-दूसरे से ऊँचा-नीचा होने की भावनाओं को। 

आज हम यहाँ से आगे, सही या असली सुसमाचार के शेष पाँच प्रभाव, गलातीयों 2 अध्याय से देखेंगे:

3. गलातीयों 2:1-2 - सही सुसमाचार का तीसरा प्रभाव हम पौलुस की सेवकाई के उदाहरण में देखते हैं। पौलुस को परमेश्वर ने अन्य-जातियों में सुसमाचार सुनाने के लिए ठहराया था (प्रेरितों 9:15)। परमेश्वर की अगुवाई में चौदह वर्ष तक अन्य-जातियों में सेवकाई के बाद परमेश्वर ने उसे यरूशलेम जाने के लिए कहा, और वह बरनबास तथा तीतुस के साथ यरूशलेम को गया। तीसरा प्रभाव है कि सही सुसमाचार के पालन और सेवकाई से परमेश्वर की सहायता, उस का मार्गदर्शन मिलता है, और परमेश्वर का जन औरों के साथ मिलकर, औरों को भी आदर और अवसर देते हुए अपनी इस ज़िम्मेदारी को निभाता है। 

4. चौथा प्रभाव भी हम गलातीयों 2:1-2 में ही देखते हैं। यहाँ दो पद बताता है कि ईश्वरीय प्रकाशन के अनुसार पौलुस यरूशलेम को गया, इस उद्देश्य से कि उन्हें अपनी सेवकाई और प्रचार के बारे में बताए - उन्हें सिखाने या उन्हें प्रभावित करने के लिए नहीं, वरन यरूशलेम में कलीसिया में बड़े समझे जाने वाले लोगों के द्वारा जाँचे जाने के लिए कि कहीं उसका परिश्रम व्यर्थ तो नहीं है (पद 2 का अंतिम वाक्य देखिए)। सही सुसमाचार का चौथा प्रभाव है कि उसके अनुसार चलने वाला व्यक्ति विनम्र और इस सेवकाई में लगे अन्य वरिष्ठ लोगों द्वारा जाँचे तथा सुधारे जाने के लिए तैयार रहता है; उसमें घमण्ड और अपनी सेवकाई में सिद्ध होने की भावना नहीं होती है। 

5. गलातीयों 2:3-5 - सही सुसमाचार के अनुसार चलने और कार्य करने के द्वारा प्रभु का जन और कलीसिया, “झूठे भाइयों”, मण्डली में गलत शिक्षाओं को लाने और फैलाने वाले लोगों पहचानने पाते हैं, और उनका सामना करने, उनके आगे न झुकने की समझ और सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करते हैं। सही सुसमाचार का पाँचवां प्रभाव है सही और गलत का आँकलन करने और सही पर बने रहने तथा गलत का प्रतिरोध करने की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करना। 

6. गलातीयों 2:6-10 - हम यहाँ 6 पद के आरंभ से ही देखते हैं कि यरूशलेम में कलीसिया के अगुवों के द्वारा पौलुस को कोई भी नई बात सीखने को नहीं मिली; उसके सुसमाचार प्रचार और सेवकाई में कोई त्रुटि नहीं थी। लेकिन फिर भी प्रभु उसे यरूशलेम लेकर आया था, उसे अपनी सेवकाई को उन अगुवों के सामने रखने के लिए कहा था। लेकिन 9 पद में हम उसके आने से हुए लाभ को देखते हैं - जब यरूशलेम के अगुवों ने उसकी सेवकाई के बारे में जान और समझ लिया, तो उसे अपने साथ सम्मिलित भी कर लिया, प्रोत्साहित भी किया और अपना सहकर्मी भी स्वीकार कर लिया; और 10 पद में सेवकाई में ध्यान रखने वाली मूल बातों के विषय स्मरण करवाया। पौलुस का यरूशलेम आना हमारी शिक्षा के लिए भी था - कि हम उसके जीवन और व्यवहार से सेवकाई और सुसमाचार के प्रभावों को सीख सकें। सही सुसमाचार के पालन का छठवाँ प्रभाव है वह अन्य स्थानों तथा लोगों के मध्य सही सुसमाचार की सेवकाई में लगे लोगों के प्रति भी सहभागिता और सहायता के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है, उन्हें भी सेवकाई के लिए मार्गदर्शन करता है। 

7. गलातीयों 2:11-14 - पौलुस के यरूशलेम से वापस अन्‍ताकिया लौट जाने के कुछ समय बाद, अब पतरस उसके पास अन्‍ताकिया गया। किन्तु वहाँ पर पतरस के व्यवहार को लेकर एक परिस्थिति उत्पन्न हो गई और पतरस दोगलेपन में गिर गया। यह आज हमको सचेत करता है कि प्रभु के बड़े से बड़े सेवक भी गलती में पड़ सकते हैं, मनुष्यों को दिखाने के लिए अपना व्यवहार बदल सकते हैं, जो औरों के लिए ठोकर का कारण भी बन सकता है। इसलिए व्यक्ति की शारीरिक और आत्मिक “आयु” के अनुसार या कलीसिया में उसके ओहदे के अनुसार नहीं, वरन उसके व्यवहार के अनुसार, हर बात के लिए आँकलन करते रहना चाहिए। लेकिन पौलुस ने पतरस को इस दोगलेपन में बने नहीं रहने दिया, वरन तुरंत ही, सबके सामने उसका सामना किया, और उसे सुधारा। पतरस ने भी, उपरोक्त चौथे प्रभाव के अनुरूप, इस बात का बुरा नहीं माना, इससे अपने अहं पर ठेस नहीं आने दी, और आगे चलकर अपनी पत्री में पौलुस को अपना “प्रिय भाई” कहा और उसके दर्शन एवं सेवकाई के लिए उसकी प्रशंसा की (2 पतरस 3:15-16)। सही सुसमाचार के पालन ने पतरस को भी विनम्र और सुधार के लिए तत्पर बना दिया था। किन्तु पौलुस की प्रतिक्रिया पतरस के विनम्र होने पर आधारित नहीं थी; पौलुस की बात के लिए पतरस उसे जो भी प्रतिक्रिया देता, पौलुस उसे सुनने और सहने के लिए तैयार था; किन्तु मण्डली में किसी गलत व्यवहार और उदाहरण को सहन करने के लिए तैयार नहीं था। सही सुसमाचार का सातवाँ प्रभाव है कि वह व्यावहारिक मसीही जीवन में होने वाली गलतियों को पहचानने और उन्हें सुधारने के लिए औरों का सामना करने की हिम्मत और सामर्थ्य देता है; उनके ओहदे या स्तर के भय कारण गलतियों के प्रति आँख मूँद लेने, और प्रभु के जन को उन में बने ही रहने देने वाला नहीं होने देता है। 

सही और असली सुसमाचार से संबंधित इन लेखों का सारांश यही है कि सही और सच्चा सुसमाचार परमेश्वर की ओर से, उसके अनुग्रह, उसकी शांति, और उसकी समझ और बुद्धि और ज्ञान और सामर्थ्य के साथ आता है। सही सुसमाचार पूर्णतः प्रभु यीशु मसीह द्वारा समस्त मानव जाति को उनके किन्हीं कर्मों के द्वारा नहीं परंतु अपनी क्षमा और अनुग्रह के द्वारा पापों से छुटकारा देने के लिए कलवरी के क्रूस पर दिए गए बलिदान के बारे में है; इसमें किसी भी मनुष्य के कैसे भी कोई भी योगदान या काम का कोई भी स्थान नहीं है - लेश-मात्र भी नहीं। सही सुसमाचार का निर्वाह संसार की बुराइयों से छुड़ाता है, मसीही विश्वासियों में प्रेम, एक-मनता, सहभागिता, संगति, एक-दूसरे को उभारने, उठाने और सुधारने को प्रोत्साहित करता है; विभाजन और अलगाव नहीं मेल-मिलाप लाता है। सही सुसमाचार के प्रचार और निर्वाह के द्वारा प्रभु परमेश्वर की महिमा होती है, किसी मनुष्य अथवा संस्था की नहीं। जिस भी सुसमाचार में, सुसमाचार की सेवकाई और प्रचार में, ये स्वभाव और प्रभाव नहीं हैं, वह “कोई अन्य ही सुसमाचार” है, गलत और झूठा है, उसका तिरस्कार करके सही को अपनाना अनिवार्य है।

अभी तक हम इफिसियों 4:14 के अनुसार प्रभु की कलीसिया और उसके अपरिपक्व अनुयायियों के शैतान के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार से संबंधित फैलाई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं और उन शिक्षाओं के कारण प्रभु के लोगों के “मनुष्यों की ठग-विद्या और चतुराई से उन के भ्रम की युक्तियों की, और उपदेश की, हर एक बयार से उछाले, और इधर-उधर घुमाए” जाने, तथा उन्हें पहचानने और उससे बचने के वचन में दिए गए उपायों के बारे में देखते आ रहे थे। अगले लेख से हम इन बातों का सारांश और फिर उसके बाद इफिसियों 4:15-16 से कलीसिया और मसीही विश्वासी के परिपक्व होने, उस परिपक्वता में बढ़ने के बारे में देखेंगे।

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं धारणाओं में न पड़े हों। सच्चे सुसमाचार के स्वभाव के अनुसार अपने आप को जाँचने के द्वारा यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आपने सच्चे सुसमाचार पर सच्चा विश्वास किया है, और आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें।

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

The 7 Effects of the True Gospel (2)

In the previous articles we had seen from Galatians 1:1-7 the nature or characteristics of the true Gospel, to enable discerning between the true and the false Gospel. In the last article we began to see the 7 effects that come about in a person’s life, when he accepts and starts living by the true Gospel. The first two of these seven effects are given in Galatian chapter 1, which we have already seen, and the remaining five effects are in chapter 2, which we will see today.

The 7 Effects of the True Gospel (Contd.):

We saw in the last article that the first effect of the true Gospel is that it encourages the Believers to live and walk in the fear and obedience of God, and not of man; and to please God in all things; releasing men from the tendency of being ‘man-pleasers’ and of living under the control of men. The second effect of the true Gospel that we saw was that it promotes love, reconciliation, fellowship, tolerance, and praising God for each other, etc., instead of divisions, discord, separation, opposition, and creating feelings of superiority or inferiority. 

The remaining five effects, given in Galatians chapter 2, we will see today:

3. Galatians 2:1-2 - The Third effect of the true Gospel we see in the example of the ministry of Paul. Paul had been appointed for preaching the Gospel amongst the gentiles (Acts 9:15). After laboring for fourteen years amongst the gentiles, God asked him to go to Jerusalem, and so he came to Jerusalem along with Barnabas and Titus. The third effect that we see here is that living and serving by the true Gospel provides help and guidance from God, and encourages the person to fulfill his ministry by involving the other Believers, giving them the honor and opportunity for ministry as well.

4. The Fourth effect is also seen in Galatians 2:1-2; here verse 2 says that Paul went to Jerusalem by revelation from God, to share with them about his preaching and ministry - not to teach or impress them, but to be evaluated by the elders in Jerusalem, lest his labor be in vain (see the last part of verse 2). The Fourth effect of the Gospel is that the follower of the true Gospel is humble and submissive, willing to be evaluated and corrected by the other seniors engaged in the same ministry; he does not harbor any pride or sense of superiority or perfection about what he is doing.

5. Galatians 2:3-5 - The Believers who live by the true Gospel have the courage and ability to recognize and confront the “false brethren” who have sneaked into the Church or Assembly, not bow down to them, nor be tolerant or subservient to them. The Fifth effect of the true Gospel is that it provides the ability, wisdom, and strength to firmly stand up and speak against the wrong and oppose it, while resolutely following the right, even in a different locality.

6. Galatians 2:6-10 - From this passage we see from verse 6 that Paul did not learn anything new from the elders of the Church in Jerusalem; nor could they point out any error or short-coming in his preaching and ministry. But the Lord had brought him to Jerusalem, and had asked him to place his ministry before the elders. His coming to Jerusalem was not in vain; in verse 9 we see a benefit of his coming to Jerusalem - when the elders in Jerusalem came to know about him and his ministry, they also included him in their ranks, “giving him the right hand of fellowship”, and encouraged him. Then in verse 10 they emphasized upon the main things to be kept in mind during ministry. Paul’s coming to Jerusalem was for our learning as well, so that we can learn from his life, ministry, and behaviour the effects of the true Gospel. The Sixth effect of following the true Gospel is that it encourages the Church of a locality to join into their fellowship the ministers of the true Gospel serving in other places and guide them in their ministry.

7. Galatians 2:11-14 - Sometime after Paul had returned from Jerusalem to Antioch, now, Peter came to meet him. But because of Peter’s changing to a hypocritical behavior, an untoward situation arose. This serves as a point of caution for us, that even a very senior and mature elder can slip up, fall into hypocrisy, change their behavior, and become a stumbling block for other Believers. Therefore, one should not go only by the physical or spiritual age, nor by the seniority or status of a person in the Church. But we should always assess everything of the person’s teachings and behavior through God’s Word, before accepting what he says. But Paul did not let Peter remain in the hypocrisy; he openly confronted and corrected him. Peter too did not feel bad about it, did not let it hurt his ego, and later, called Paul his “Dear Brother” and praised Paul for his spiritual insights and ministry (2 Peter 3:15-16). Believing in and following the true Gospel made Peter too, as mentioned in the Fourth effect, to be humble and open to corrections. But Paul’s reaction was not dependent upon Peter’s being humble; no matter how Peter may have reacted to what Paul said, Paul was ready and willing to put up with it and bear it; but Paul was not ready to put up with any wrong behavior and example in the Church or Assembly. The Seventh effect of the true Gospel is that it gives the courage and strength to not only discern the wrongs and errors in practical Christian life but to speak up and correct them too; irrespective of the stature or position of the one committing that error, does not let a Believer continue in his wrong.

In short, what we can conclude from these articles about the true and correct gospel is that the true Gospel comes from God along with God’s grace, peace, understanding, wisdom, and knowledge. The true Gospel is about the forgiveness of sins and salvation made freely available to the all of mankind by the Lord Jesus Christ through His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, not through any kinds of works done by any man; no man has any role or contribution in this salvation - none at all. The acceptance and following of the true Gospel delivers from the evils of the world, and promotes mutual love, unity, fellowship, cooperation, lifting each other up, encouraging, and correcting one-another, etc. amongst the Christian Believers. The preaching and living by the true Gospel glorifies the Lord Jesus, not any person or organization. If these characteristics and effects are not present in any gospel being preached in the name of the Lord, it is false, wrong, and “another gospel” that is not to be accepted and believed, but necessarily has to be rejected out rightly.

So far, we have been considering on the basis of Ephesians 4:14 about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and how Satan beguiles and misleads the immature and child-like Christian Believers through teachings about the Lord Jesus, about the Holy Spirit, and about the Gospel, so that they are “...tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.” In the next article we will see the summary of what we have seen so far, and then we will see from Ephesians 4:15-16 about the Christian Believers and the Church becoming mature, and growing in that maturity.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

सही सुसमाचार के 7 प्रभाव (1)

पिछले लेख में हमने गलातियों 1:1-7 से सच्चे सुसमाचार के स्वभाव और प्रभाव के बारे में देखा था, जिससे कि सच्चे और झूठे सुसमाचार के मध्य अन्तर कर सकें। आज से उन 7 प्रभावों के बारे में देखना आरम्भ करेंगे जो व्यक्ति के जीवन में आते हैं, जब वह सही सुसमाचार को ग्रहण करके उसके अनुसार जीवन व्यतीत करना आरम्भ कर देता है। इनमें से पहले दो प्रभाव गलातियों 1 अध्याय में दिए गए हैं, और आज हम उन्हें देखेंगे। शेष 5 प्रभाव गलतियों 2 अध्याय में दिए गए हैं, और उन्हें हम इसके बाद के लेखों में देखेंगे।  

आज, सबसे पहले हम झूठे या गलत सुसमाचार के दुष्प्रभावों को भी देखेंगे, क्योंकि इसके द्वारा हम अपने जीवनों को जाँच-परख सकते हैं, और अपने जीवनों में आवश्यक सुधारों को कर सकते हैं।  

भ्रष्ट सुसमाचार का दुष्प्रभाव:

परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में पौलुस प्रेरित ने गलातीयों 1:8-9 में लिखा कि प्रभु यीशु के मूल और वास्तविक सुसमाचार को यदि कोई भ्रष्ट करता है, या उसे बिगाड़ता है, तो वह श्रापित है - वह चाहे स्वर्गदूत हो या फिर चाहे स्वयं पौलुस ही क्यों न हो। सुसमाचार में किसी भी प्रकार की मिलावट करना, उसे बिगाड़ना, और भ्रष्ट करना है, और ऐसा करना परमेश्वर की आशीषों को हटा कर उनके स्थान पर परमेश्वर से श्राप ले आता है। इसलिए यदि किसी मसीही विश्वासी के जीवन में अथवा कलीसिया में आशीषों का आना रुक गया है, श्राप और आत्मिक पतन दिखाई देने लगा है, किन्तु ऐसा होने का कोई कारण प्रकट नहीं है, तो उस व्यक्ति अथवा कलीसिया को रुक कर अपने व्यावहारिक मसीही जीवन और कार्यों का पुनःअवलोकन कर लेना चाहिए कि उन्होंने कहीं किसी सिद्धांत (doctrine), विश्वास (belief), या व्यवहार (practice) में कुछ ऐसा तो नहीं किया है जिससे उनके द्वारा प्रचार किया जाने वाले और जिए जाने वाले सुसमाचार में कोई मिलावट या सांसारिकता की बात घुस आई है, किसी रीति से संसार के साथ कोई समझौता हो रहा है, और सुसमाचार अपने मूल स्वरूप से भ्रष्ट हो रहा हो, जिससे परमेश्वर की आशीष के स्थान पर उन्हें उसके श्राप का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। सुसमाचार को अप्रभावी करने वाली शैतान की आम तौर से प्रयोग की जाने वाली बातों को हम 8 मार्च के लेख में देख चुके हैं। यदि इन बातों में से कोई, या कोई और बात जिससे कहीं पर भी कोई भी मिलावट, समझौता, या किसी भी अन्य बात के द्वारा सुसमाचार में कोई भी बिगाड़ पता चलता है, तुरंत उस बात के लिए पश्चाताप और क्षमा माँगकर उसे ठीक कर लें (1 यूहन्ना 1:9), इससे पहले कि किसी भारी ताड़ना या हानि में पड़ जाएं। 

असली सुसमाचार के 7 प्रभाव:

1. गलातीयों 1:10-19 : जैसा हमने पिछले लेख में इस अध्याय के पहले पद से देखा था, पौलुस इस बात में स्पष्ट और दृढ़ था कि उसकी मसीही सेवकाई, उसका प्रेरित होना प्रभु परमेश्वर की ओर से था, किसी मनुष्य की ओर से नहीं, जैसा वह यहाँ 13-15 पद में कहता है। और उसके द्वारा प्रचार किया जाने वाला सुसमाचार संदेश भी उसे परमेश्वर ही से मिला था न कि किसी मनुष्य से (पद 11-12)। इसलिए उसकी सेवकाई का उद्देश्य किसी मनुष्य को प्रसन्न करना नहीं, केवल और केवल परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करना था, चाहे उसके लिए कोई भी कीमत क्यों न चुकानी पड़े (पद 10)। एक बार जब वह प्रभु परमेश्वर की ओर से अपनी नियुक्ति के विषय स्पष्ट और स्थापित हो गया, और उसने प्रचार के लिए सुसमाचार संदेश परमेश्वर से प्राप्त कर लिया, फिर इसके लिए उसने किसी भी मनुष्य की, वह चाहे कोई भी हो, सलाह लेना और उसके अनुसार कार्य करना स्वीकार नहीं किया (पद 16-19)। असली सुसमाचार का पहला प्रभाव है कि उसका पालन करने वाला, मनुष्यों को नहीं वरन हर कीमत पर परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करने वाला होता है; और मनुष्यों के नहीं वरन परमेश्वर के परामर्श और मार्गदर्शन के अनुसार उसे परमेश्वर द्वारा सौंपी गई सेवकाई का निर्वाह करता है। 

2. गलातीयों 1:20-24 : इन पदों में हम असली सुसमाचार का दूसरा प्रभाव देखते हैं। जैसा पौलुस ने अपने विषय यहाँ पद 13-14 में लिखा, प्रभु यीशु का अनुयायी बनने से पहले वह प्रभु की कलीसिया को सताने वाले के रूप में जाना जाता था, और उसकी यह ख्याति दूर-दूर तक पहुँच चुकी थी (पद 23)। किन्तु साथ ही अब उन्हीं स्थानों पर उसकी यह ख्याति भी पहुँच चुकी थी कि अब वह प्रभु के लोगों को सताने वाला नहीं वरन प्रभु के सुसमाचार का प्रचार करने वाला बन गया था। इन पदों में जिनका उल्लेख है, उन स्थानों के वे लोग उससे कभी मिले नहीं थे, उन्होंने बस उसके बारे में सुना ही था - पिछला बुरे व्यवहार के बारे में भी और अब परिवर्तन के बाद का भले व्यवहार के बारे में भी। किन्तु उससे न मिलने के बावजूद, पद 24 में लिखा है कि वे कलीसियाएं अब “मेरे विषय में परमेश्वर की महिमा करती थीं।” यही असली सुसमाचार का दूसरा प्रभाव है - उसके पालन करने से विभाजन और बैर या दूरियाँ नहीं आतीं, किसी दूसरे की सेवकाई को लेकर ईर्ष्या या जलन उत्पन्न नहीं होती है; वरन आपस में प्रेम, मेल-मिलाप, और एक दूसरे के लिए आनन्दित होने तथा परमेश्वर की महिमा करने का भाव आता है। दूसरा प्रभाव है कि असली सुसमाचार विभिन्न कलीसियाओं या विभिन्न व्यक्तियों के मध्य में विभाजन की दीवारें खड़ी नहीं करता है, एक-दूसरे से पृथक रहने के बहाने नहीं प्रदान करता है, वरन दीवारों को गिरा देता है, एक-दूसरे के दिलों तक मार्ग बना देता है, मेल करवा देता है।

The 7 Effects of the True Gospel (1)

In the previous article we have seen from Galatians 1:1-7 the nature or characteristics of the true Gospel, to enable discerning between the true and the false Gospel. Today we will start considering the 7 effects that come about in a person’s life, when he accepts and starts living by the true Gospel. The first two of these seven effects are given in Galatian chapter 1, and we will see them today, and the remaining five effects are in chapter 2, which we will see in the subsequent articles. 

Today we will also see, first, the harmful effect of the false gospel, and will also see how to use this to examine our own lives and make the required corrections if necessary.

The Harmful Effect of the False Gospel:

God the Holy Spirit, through Paul has got it written in Galatians 1:8-9, that whoever alters the original and basic Gospel of the Lord Jesus, he is cursed - even if an angel or Paul himself does so. To bring in any other thing into the Gospel is equal to corrupting it, spoiling it; and this takes away the blessings of the Lord God, and brings in His curse instead. Therefore, if in the life of any Christian Believer, or the Church, God’s blessings have ceased, and instead curse and spiritual decline is evident, and there is no other apparent cause, why this has happened, then that person, or that Church, should pause awhile and carefully examine, evaluate all aspects of the practical Christian living, the God assigned ministry and its works. They should check if they have in any way violated or gone astray from some doctrine, belief, or practice, or have done something because of which some worldliness or thing of human wisdom and worldly behavior has come in and the Gospel being preached and lived out by them has been corrupted and spoilt. If there has been any compromise with the things of the world, any unBiblical things have entered in, or anything of human wisdom has been added into the Gospel, then immediately stop it, remove it, repent of it and ask the Lord’s forgiveness (1 John 1:9), before a heavy chastisement and harm comes.

The 7 Effects of the True Gospel:

1. Galatians 1:10-19 - As we have seen in the last article, from the first verse of this chapter, Paul was very clear and firm that his Christian ministry, his being an Apostle, was from God, not from any person, and he reiterates it here in verses 13-15. The message he preached was also given to him by God, not any man (verses 11-12). Therefore, his purpose in ministry was not to please any person, but only and only to please God, no matter what cost he may have to pay for this (verse 10). Once he was convinced and established about his appointment, ministry, and message being from God, he then never tried to work to please any man in any manner, nor to work according to the instructions and advice of any person, whoever the person may be (verses 16-19). The first effect of the true Gospel is that the one who follows it, wants to please God not man; and works not according to the guidance and instructions of any man but of God, to fulfill his God given ministry, at any cost.

2. Galatians 1:20-24 - In these verses we see the second effect of the true Gospel. As Paul has written about himself here in verses 13-14, before becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus, he was known as a persecutor of the Christians and the churches all over the region, even far off places (verse 23). But now, this news about him had also reached these very places that he is no longer a persecutor of the Church, but has become a disciple and a preacher of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. The places that have been mentioned in these verses, the people there had never met him, they had only heard about him - about his past reputation of being a persecutor and about the present transformation of becoming a preacher. Not ever having met him, it is written about him in verse 24, that those churches “And they glorified God in me.” This is the second effect of the true Gospel - following it and living according to it, does not give rise to divisions and discords, does not cause any resentment or jealousy about another’s ministry and reputation. Rather, it gives rise to mutual harmony, love, being pleased and rejoicing for one another, glorifying God for the work He is doing through others. The second effect is that the true Gospel does not raise walls of segregations and divisions between different churches and Believers, it does not provide excuses to stay separated from one another; but brings down the separating walls, creates ways to be in the hearts of the others and have others in one’s heart, brings about reconciliation.

In the next article we will see the remaining five effects of the true Gospel from Galatians chapter 2. If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

सही सुसमाचार के गुण (2)

        यह एक जानी-पहचानी बात और रणनीति है कि नकली उत्पाद को बनाने वाले सभी लोग उस नकली को, उसके असली मूल उत्पाद के समान ही दिखने वाला बनाते हैं, साथ ही उस नकली के असली के समान ही कार्य करने और प्रभावी होने की बात करते हैं। अर्थात उनके उस नकली उत्पाद में वही स्वभाव और प्रभाव होने के दावे करते हैं जो असली में होते हैं। इसलिए, यही दो गुण या “स्वभाव”, और उसके “प्रभाव” हमें असली और नकली की पहचान करवाते हैं। यही असली और नकली सुसमाचार के लिए भी सही है। आज हम असली सुसमाचार के गुणों, अर्थात उसके स्वभाव के बारे में गलातियों की पत्री से देखेंगे।

 असली सुसमाचार के 7 गुण या स्वभाव:

        1. पौलुस इस पत्री का आरंभ अपनी सेवकाई और बुलाहट से आरंभ करता है। वह गलातीयों 1:1 में अपने पाठकों को यह स्पष्ट कर देता है कि उसकी नियुक्ति परमेश्वर के द्वारा है, न कि मनुष्यों की ओर से। क्योंकि यह उसके मसीही जीवन का दृढ़ सत्य था, जिस के विषय उसने कभी किसी प्रकार का कोई भी समझौता नहीं किया, इसीलिए उसकी वफादारी भी केवल और केवल प्रभु परमेश्वर के ही प्रति थी, अन्य किसी के प्रति नहीं। सच्चे सुसमाचार के प्रचारक का पहला गुण है कि वह न केवल परमेश्वर की ओर से अपनी सेवकाई के लिए नियुक्त होने का दावा भी करेगा, वरन उस दावे को जी कर के भी दिखाएगा। सही सुसमाचार का प्रचार करने वाले प्रचारक के व्यवहारिक जीवन में परमेश्वर के प्रति वफादारी और जवाबदेही, तथा सुसमाचार के द्वारा सांसारिकता की बातों, संसार से प्रशंसा, बड़ाई, यश, सांसारिक धन-सम्पत्ति, आदि कमाने से अलगाव भी दिखाई देगा।

        2. गलातियों 1:2 से प्रकट है कि सही सुसमाचार के प्रचारकों में बड़े-छोटे की भावना नहीं होगी; वह अपने सभी सहकर्मियों को, प्रभु की सेवकाई में लगे लोगों को समान आदर के साथ रखता है, सभी के साथ मेल-मिलाप रखते हुए, उन्हें भी अपनी सेवकाई का महत्वपूर्ण भाग बताता है, केवल अपने आप को ही बड़ा या मुख्य दिखाने के प्रयास नहीं करता है।

        3. गलातियों 1:3 में पौलुस सही सुसमाचार का तीसरा गुण या स्वभाव लिखता है - वास्तविक सुसमाचार प्रभु यीशु मसीह की शांति और अनुग्रह के साथ आता है। अर्थात उस संदेश और उसके पालन से अनबन, विभाजन, फूट, बैर, टकराव, आदि नहीं होते; वरन वह हमेशा प्रेम, मेल-मिलाप, क्षमा, एकता, दीनता, नम्रता आदि मसीही गुणों के साथ आता है, जबकि नकली इसके विपरीत बातों के साथ आता है।

        4. गलातीयों 1:4 में वास्तविक सुसमाचार का चौथा स्वभाव दिया गया है, वह हमारे पापों से छुटकारे के लिए प्रभु यीशु के द्वारा दिए गए बलिदान का प्रचार करता है न कि मनुष्यों के अपने किसी कार्य या कर्मों के अनुसार भला बनने और उद्धार पाने का। साथ ही वह सांसारिक बातों, धन-संपत्ति, भौतिक समृद्धि, शारीरिक चंगाइयों, आदि का नहीं, परन्तु मसीह यीशु में विश्वास के द्वारा पापों की क्षमा का ही प्रचार करने पर बल देता है, उसे ही मुख्य विषय बनाए रखता है। साथ ही वह प्रभु यीशु मसीह के जीवन से परमेश्वर के प्रति मृत्यु सहने तक आज्ञाकारी होने के लिए भी सिखाता है (इब्रानियों 12:1-4; प्रकाशितवाक्य 2:10)।

        5. गलातियों 1:5 में सही सुसमाचार के प्रचार और प्रचारक का पाँचवां गुण दिया गया है, उसके द्वारा सदा ही प्रभु यीशु मसीह की स्तुति और बड़ाई, उसी की प्रशंसा, महिमा और गुणगान का प्रचार होगा, किसी मनुष्य का नहीं।

        6. गलातियों 1:6 सचेत करता है कि कोई भी सच्चा मसीही विश्वासी अपने आप को आवश्यकता से अधिक सिद्ध या स्थिर न समझ ले, जैसा कि 1 कुरिन्थियों 10:12 में भी लिखा गया है। यहाँ ध्यान कीजिए कि, कोई अविश्वासी नहीं अपितु, गलातिया की मसीही मण्डली के लोग, प्रभु के विश्वासी जन ही “और ही सुसमाचार” में अर्थात गलत सुसमाचार में बहकाए और भरमाए गए थे। सही सुसमाचार का छठवाँ स्वभाव है कि वह सदा ही मनुष्य को उसकी दुर्बलता के बारे में, और प्रभु के सच्चे विश्वासी जन को सदा हर बात के लिए परमेश्वर पर निर्भर रहने, परमेश्वर के वचन से हर बात को जाँचते रहने, और वचन ही के अनुसार चलने के लिए कहेगा। वह कभी किसी को भी अपने आप पर, अपनी बुद्धि और युक्ति पर भरोसा रखने और अपनी समझ या संसार की सलाह, संसार को सही लगने वाली बात के अनुसार करने को नहीं कहेगा।

       7. गलातीयों 1:7 में सही सुसमाचार का सातवाँ गुण है कि उससे लोगों में डर या घबराहट नहीं आती; ऐसा करना सुसमाचार को बिगाड़ने वालों का काम है। गलत सुसमाचार वाले लोग विभिन्न प्रकार के डर-भय दिखा कर लोगों को अपनी बातों का पालन करने के लिए बाध्य करते हैं। जब कि असली सुसमाचार लोगों को परमेश्वर की संतान होने के लिए प्रेरित करता है (यूहन्ना 1:12-13), प्रभु से मिली पापों की क्षमा में भरोसा रखते हुए पापों के दंड उठाने के भय से मुक्त जीवन जीने (रोमियों 8:1-2), और आशीषित अनन्त जीवन की बात करता है (मत्ती 19:28-30; 1 कुरिन्थियों 2:9), तो फिर ऐसे सुसमाचार से किसी प्रकार की घबराहट या भय क्यों आएगा? नाहक ही भय और घबराहट उत्पन्न करना, लोगों को बाध्य करना, शिक्षाओं की जाँच-पड़ताल करने से रोकना, शैतान और उसकी बातों का गुण है, प्रभु और उसके सुसमाचार का नहीं।

        सच्चे सुसमाचार के 7 गुणों या स्वभाव को देखने के बात, हम उसके प्रभाव को अगले लेख में देखेंगे।

        यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं धारणाओं में न पड़े हों। सच्चे सुसमाचार के स्वभाव के अनुसार अपने आप को जाँचने के द्वारा यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आपने सच्चे सुसमाचार पर सच्चा विश्वास किया है, और आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें।

The Characteristics of the True Gospel (2)

       This is a well-known fact and strategy that every maker and seller of a spurious product tries to make his product appear as similar as he possibly can to the real or original product; and he also claims that his spurious product will be just as effective as the real one, has the same nature and effects as the original product. In other words, two things, the “nature” and the “effects” of a product provide to us the features to discern between the real and the spurious. This is also equally true for discerning between the true and the false gospel. Today, we will see about the “nature” or characteristics of the true Gospel from the letter to Galatians.

The 7 Characteristics or Nature of the True Gospel:

       1. Paul begins this letter by writing about his ministry and calling. In Galatians 1:1 he makes it clear to his readers that he has been appointed by God to this ministry, and not by any man. Because this was the firm, unchangeable truth of his Christian life, on which he never compromised in any manner, therefore his allegiance and commitment too was primarily only to the Lord God, not to any person or anyone else. The first characteristic of the preacher of the true Gospel is that he not only knows and asserts his being appointed by God to the ministry, but also practically lives out this claim in his Christian life. The life of the preacher of the true Gospel is one of faithfulness and accountability towards God not man, and of separation from the world, of staying away from using the Gospel to acquire and earn any kind of temporal gains, praise, name, fame, and worldly wealth etc. from people of the world.

       2. Galatians 1:2 makes it quite evident that amongst the preachers of the true Gospel, there is no feeling of anyone being more or less important; they give the same honor and importance to all their colleagues, who are engaged with them in preaching the Gospel. They consider all their colleagues an equally important part of their ministry and live in harmony with all of them. They do not try to project themselves as the leaders of the group or someone superior than others.

       3. Galatians 1:3 - Paul writes the third characteristic here - the true Gospel comes with the peace and grace of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Implying that living by that Gospel does not give rise to mutual differences, divisions, discords, animosity, conflicts etc.; rather it always comes with Christian virtues like love, forgiveness, unity, reconciliation, humility, meekness etc. In contrast, the false gospel is associated with things contrary to these virtues.

       4. Galatians 1:4 tells about the fourth characteristic of the true Gospel, it is centered upon and preaches the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus to deliver us from our sins. It is not about any works of any person, or of doing good and becoming good through any kind of works to be saved. Also, the true Gospel does not preach about any worldly things, gaining wealth and property of this world, acquiring temporal prosperity, getting physical healings etc. The true Gospel only emphasizes upon forgiveness of sins through faith in the Lord Jesus, and always maintains it as the preaching point. It also teaches from the life of the Lord Jesus to be obedient to and faithful towards God, even till death (Hebrews 12:1-4; Revelation 2:10).

       5. Galatians 1:5 gives the fifth characteristic of the true Gospel, about its preacher; the preacher always praises and worships, exalts, glorifies, and exemplifies the only Lord Jesus Christ, not any person.

       6. Galatians 1:6, as the sixth characteristic illustrates that no Christian Believer should ever think of himself being perfect and established in faith, as 1 Corinthians 10:12 admonishes us. Here, in this verse, take note that not any unbelievers, but the members of the Church in Galatia, the Christian Believers had been carried away into believing in a “different gospel”, i.e., a false gospel! By implication, the sixth characteristic is that the true Gospel will always keep its followers aware of their fallibility and keep exhorting them to trust and depend only upon the Lord God for everything and in all situations, to keep examining and evaluating himself by the Word of God, and to live in obedience only to the Word of God. It will never make anyone trust themselves or their wisdom and understanding, or act according to the cunning ways of the world and behave in a manner that seems to be right in the eyes of the world.

       7. Galatians 1:7 shows us the seventh characteristic of the true Gospel, that it does not trouble the people, it does produce any unnecessary fear or apprehension amongst people. Doing this is a feature of the followers of the false gospel, who create a sense of fear and apprehension in the hearts of people to coerce them to do their bidding, else face harmful consequences. The true Gospel encourages its followers to live like the children of God (John 1:12-13); to trust the forgiveness they have received from the Lord and live free of the fear of suffering the consequences of their sins (Romans 8:1-2); and leads them to live life in anticipation of a blessed eternal life (Matthew 19:28-30; 1 Corinthians 2:9), so then why would anyone be troubled by such a Gospel? To create fear and apprehension, to compel people into doing certain things, to prevent them from examining and evaluating the doctrines and teachings preached to them, etc. are Satan’s attribute, not of the Lord Jesus and His Gospel.

       After these seven characteristics, in the next article, we will look at the effects of the true Gospel. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
