कलीसिया की, तथा मसीही जीवन में उन्नति / Growth and Edification in Christian Life & of the Church

उन बातों को देखने के पश्चात जिनके कारण मसीही जीवन तथा कलीसिया की उन्नति बाधित होती है, मसीही विश्वासी अपरिपक्व ही बने रहते हैं, आज हम व्यक्तिगत मसीही जीवन में, तथा प्रभु की कलीसिया के द्वारा, उन्नति के मार्ग पर अग्रसर होने के बारे में देखेंगे। इफिसियों 4:15 में लिखा है कि “वरन प्रेम में सच्चाई से चलते हुए, सब बातों में उस में जो सिर है, अर्थात मसीह में बढ़ते जाएं”; अर्थात मसीही जीवन में उन्नति का, बढ़ोतरी का तरीका है प्रेम, और सच्चाई से रहना तथा व्यवहार करना, और जीवन की हर बात में मसीह यीशु का अनुकरण करना। इन्हीं शिक्षाओं को पवित्र आत्मा ने अन्य कलीसियाओं के लिए भी पौलुस के द्वारा लिखवाया है। वास्तव में, वचन के अनुसार, प्रेम और सच्चाई प्रभु यीशु ही के विभिन्न स्वरूप या उपनाम हैं; इसलिए जो प्रभु यीशु मसीह का अनुकरण करेगा, वह स्वतः ही प्रेम और सच्चाई का व्यवहार भी रखेगा। साथ ही, यह हमको अपने आप को जाँचने का तरीका भी देता है, कि यदि हम में प्रेम और सच्चाई नहीं हैं, तो हम बाहर से चाहे जो भी दिखाते और करते रहें, हम प्रभु यीशु का अनुकरण नहीं कर रहे हैं, इसलिए हमारी अन्य हर बात व्यर्थ है, निष्फल है, यदि प्रेम और सच्चाई हमारे जीवन में नहीं हैं। प्रेम की परिभाषा और प्रेम से चलने या व्यवहार करने के क्या गुण हैं, यह 1 कुरिन्थियों 13 अध्याय में लिखवाया गया है; और इस अध्याय के अंतिम पद, पद 13 में यहाँ तक लिखा है कि “पर अब विश्वास, आशा, प्रेम थे तीनों स्थाई है, पर इन में सब से बड़ा प्रेम है”। प्रेरित यूहन्ना ने पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में लिखा कि परमेश्वर प्रेम है और जो इस प्रेम को नहीं जानता है, वह परमेश्वर को भी नहीं जानता है (1 यूहन्ना 4:8, 16)। यूहन्ना ने ही इस प्रेम के कलीसिया में व्यावहारिक प्रकटीकरण के विषय लिखा, (1 यूहन्ना 4:20-21) और इस संदर्भ में “भाई” शब्द के अर्थ को भी बताया - प्रभु यीशु की मण्डली के हमारे साथी, सह-विश्वासी (1 यूहन्ना 3:14)।

प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने अपने विषय कहा था, “यीशु ने उस से कहा, मार्ग और सच्चाई और जीवन मैं ही हूं; बिना मेरे द्वारा कोई पिता के पास नहीं पहुंच सकता” (यूहन्ना 14:6)। और मसीह यीशु का अनुकरण करने के विषय पौलुस ने लिखा, “तुम मेरी सी चाल चलो जैसा मैं मसीह की सी चाल चलता हूं” (1 कुरिन्थियों 11:1)। कुलुस्सियों 2 अध्याय, प्रभु यीशु मसीह का अनुसरण करते हुए उसके वचन और सच्चाई के साथ चलते रहने के बारे में है। पौलुस में होकर परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने इस 2 अध्याय लिखवाया है:

• पद 1-2 - उसका कलीसियाओं में परिश्रम करते रहने का एक उद्देश्य था कि कलीसियाओं को प्रेम में गठे तथा शांति से रहने वाला बनाए, उन्हें परमेश्वर पिता तथा प्रभु यीशु के पहचान में स्थापित और दृढ़ करे। अर्थात, प्रेम में गठना, शांति से रहना, और पिता परमेश्वर तथा प्रभु यीशु की पहचान में स्थापित और दृढ़ होना संबंधित हैं, एक-दूसरे के सहायक एवं पूरक हैं। 

• पद 3-8 - प्रभु यीशु मसीह ही में बुद्धि और ज्ञान के सारे भण्डार छिपे हैं; इसलिए जो मसीह यीशु की पहचान और ज्ञान में स्थापित और दृढ़ होगा, वह मनुष्यों की लुभाने वाली बातों से भरमाया भी नहीं जाएगा। जब भी कोई शंका हो, प्रभु यीशु मसीह और उसकी शिक्षाओं की ओर लौट आएं, और गलत शिक्षा तथा भरमाए जाने से बच जाएंगे। 

• पद 9-15 - मसीह यीशु ही परमेश्वर का सदेह प्रतिरूप है, और पूर्णतः परमेश्वर भी है। जो मसीह यीशु में, अर्थात उसके वचन और उसकी शिक्षाओं में बने रहते हैं, उनका पालन करते रहते हैं, वे उसकी भरपूरी के भी संभागी होते हैं। मसीह यीशु में हमारे लिए व्यवस्था की विधियों की सभी बातें पूरी कर दी गई हैं, और उन्हें पूरा करके उसने उनका हमारे द्वारा फिर से उनका पालन किए जाने को हटा दिया है, व्यवस्था के पालन से मुक्त कर दिया है। मसीह यीशु में होकर अब हम परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी ठहरते हैं। इसलिए फिर से व्यवस्था की बातों के पालन में जाना, कर्मों द्वारा धर्मी बनने के प्रयास करना, प्रभु यीशु मसीह के कार्य को व्यर्थ करना, उसका अपमान करना है। 

• पद 16-23 - उपरोक्त बातों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, अब किसी भी मसीही विश्वासी को किसी भी प्रकार के कर्मों की धार्मिकता के द्वारा अपने आप को धर्मी दिखाने और ठहराने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। इन पदों में कही गई विभिन्न बातें देखने और सुनने में अच्छी और सही लगती हैं, किन्तु किसी का भी जीवन नहीं बदल सकती हैं, उसे पापों से मुक्ति प्रदान नहीं कर सकती हैं; जो केवल और केवल पापों से पश्चाताप करने और प्रभु यीशु मसीह से उनके लिए क्षमा माँगकर उसे अपना जीवन समर्पित करने के द्वारा मिलती है। जैसा इस अध्याय के अंतिम पद में, अंतिम वाक्य में लिखा है, विभिन्न कर्मों और अनुष्ठानों की ये सारी बातें तो शारीरिक लालसाओं को भी नहीं रोकने पाती हैं, तो फिर उन पर विजयी कैसे बनाने पाएंगी?

इसलिए प्रेम, सच्चाई और प्रभु यीशु में बढ़ते जाना, प्रभु यीशु को “सिर” अर्थात नियंत्रण करने और मार्गदर्शन करने वाला मानकर उसकी तथा उसके वचन की अधीनता में बने रहना ही व्यक्तिगत रीति से मसीही जीवन में, और कलीसिया के जीवन की उन्नति और सुरक्षा का मार्ग है।

 

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप प्रेम, सच्चाई और प्रभु यीशु मसीह के अनुकरण में निरंतर न केवल बने रहें, वरन बढ़ते भी जाएं। यही आपके मसीही जीवन को और उन्नत बनाने, सुधारने, और परमेश्वर के लिए उपयोगी बनाने का मार्ग है, तथा साथ ही आपको अपने स्वयं की जाँच करते रहने का एक माप-दण्ड भी प्रदान करता है, जिससे आप मसीही जीवन में अपनी प्रगति और उन्नति को जाँचते तथा देखते रहें। इसलिए अपने जीवन में इन तीन बातों के व्यावहारिक उपयोग को कभी कम न होने दें, उनमें बढ़ते ही रहने के प्रयास में लगे रहें।

 

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

English Translation

Having seen those things because of which the Christian Believer’s life and the life of the Church are adversely affected, the Believers remain immature and child-like, today we will see about growing in the Christian life and edification of the Church. The Apostle Paul, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit writes in Ephesians 4:15 “but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ.” In other words, the way to be growing in Christian life and be edified is through maintaining Christian love and truth, and live accordingly, having Christ Jesus as our “head”; to emulate the Lord Jesus in everything. The Holy Spirit had these teachings written for the other churches also, through Paul. Actually speaking, Biblically, Love and Truth are the other names used in God’s Word for the Lord Jesus Christ, His characteristics; therefore, whoever emulates the Lord Jesus, will also automatically live a life of following love and truth. This also give us a method to examine ourselves, if we are not walking and growing in love and truth, then outwardly whatever kind of life we may be living and exhibiting, but actually we are not really following the Lord Jesus; therefore, everything else that we say and do as a Christian Believer, is vain and fruitless. The definition of Love and the meaning of walking or living in love has been written for us in 1 Corinthians 13. It says in the last verse of this chapter, “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). The Apostle John, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote that God is love, and he who does not love, does no know God (1 John 4:8, 16). John also wrote about the practical demonstration of this love in the life of the Christian Believer (1 John 4:20-21); and gave the meaning of the word “brother” in this context - one who is our co-believer, our colleague in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 John 3:14).

The Lord Jesus has said about Himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). About following the Lord Jesus, Paul wrote, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). Colossians chapter 2 is about following the Lord Jesus and walking with Him in truth, obeying His Word. Through Paul, the Holy Spirit has had it written in this 2nd chapter:

• Verses 1-2 - Paul’s purpose in laboring amongst the churches was that they stay knit together in love, live with peace, and be firmly established in knowing the Lord God and Lord Jesus Christ. Implying that living together in love, in peace, and being firmly established in knowing God and the Lord Jesus, all complement each other, and are essential for a practical Christian life.

• Verse 3-8 - All the treasures of knowledge and wisdom are hidden in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, he who is firmly established in the knowledge and understanding of the Lord Jesus, will not be misled into wrong things by the deceptions of men. Therefore, whenever, there is any doubt about anything, come back to the Lord and His teachings; and you will not be carried away by wrong teachings and false doctrines.

• Verses 9-15 - Lord Jesus is the bodily manifestation of God and is fully God. Those who maintain themselves in the Lord Jesus and His Word, obey their teachings, they will also be partakers of His fullness. All the requirements of the Law have been fulfilled for us by the Lord Jesus, and having being fulfilled, the Law has been taken away as completed, by the Lord Jesus. When we are “in Him”, we are in the position of fulfillment of the Law, its being completed and taken away from us, and we are no longer required to fulfill the Law again. In God’s eyes, by being ‘in Christ’, we are now righteous. Therefore, returning back to the Law, trying to become righteous by the Law or through works, is rendering the Lord’s work to be vain, is belittling and insulting Him.

• Verses 16-23 - Keeping the above things in mind, no Christian Believer is ever required to show or prove himself to be righteous through any works of righteousness. The various things that are said in these verses appear to be very good, pious, and reverential, but they cannot in any manner transform anyone’s life, deliver them from their sin. This transformation and being set free from sin can only happen by repenting of sins, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive them, and surrendering one’s life to the Lord Jesus. As has been written in the last verse of this chapter, all these various things of various kinds of religious works, rites and rituals are unable to even control the physical desires and lusts, then how can they make one victorious over them?

Therefore, to grow in love, truth, and the Lord Jesus is the only way for edification and growth in Christian life and of the Church. This happens when we accept the Lord Jesus as our spiritual “head”, i.e., the one who controls, directs, and guides our life, and we remaining submitted, obedient, and surrendered to Him continue to live and do as He leads us to do.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is essential that you not only remain in love, truth, and the Word of the Lord God, but also grow in it. This is the only way to help you improve and mature your Christian life and make you useful for the work of the Lord. This also provides us with a method of examining and evaluating our lives, and keep assessing the status of our growth in our Christian lives. Therefore, never let any of these practical things stagnate or decrease in your life; rather, always be growing in them.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

भ्रामक शिक्षाएँ - संक्षिप्त पुनःअवलोकन / Wrong Teachings - a Brief Recapitulation

प्रभु यीशु, पवित्र आत्मा, तथा सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाएँ

पिछले लेखों में हमने देखा है कि प्रभु ने अपनी कलीसिया और अपने विश्वासियों की आत्मिक उन्नति के लिए उन में विभिन्न प्रकार की वचन की सेवकाई करने वालों को नियुक्त किया है (इफिसियों 4:11-12)। इन सेवकों की सेवकाई से होने वाली उन्नति और परिपक्वता की चरम सीमा है सभी मसीही विश्वासियों और पृथ्वी की सभी स्थानीय कलीसियाओं का इफिसियों 4:13 के अनुरूप हो जाना। इस 13 पद के संदर्भ में, जैसा हम पहले 9 फरवरी के लेख में देख चुके हैं, यहाँ मूल यूनानी भाषा के जिस शब्द का अनुवाद “सिद्ध” किया गया है, उसका शब्दार्थ होता है “पूर्णतः सुसज्जित” होना, अर्थात किसी भी कार्य या ज़िम्मेदारी के निर्वाह के लिए पूरी तरह से तैयार और आवश्यक संसाधनों एवं उपकरणों तथा समझ-बूझ से लैस होना।

 

फिर हमने इफिसियों 4:14 से बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की पहचान देखी थी कि वे बहुत सरलता से शैतान द्वारा मनुष्यों में होकर प्रयोग की जाने वाली ठग-विद्या का शिकार हो जाते हैं; भ्रम की युक्तियों में फंस जाते हैं; और भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं। इस संदर्भ में हमने देखा है कि इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं, जो उनके गलत और अस्वीकार्य होने तथा उनसे सचेत रहने की प्रमुख पहचान हैं। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार, जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, “यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता।” किन्तु साथ ही इसी पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। तात्पर्य यह है कि किसी भी शिक्षा, प्रचार, और व्यवहार में यदि कुछ भी बाइबल से बाहर का या बाइबल के अनुरूप नहीं है, तो वह शिक्षा, प्रचार, और व्यवहार गलत है, अस्वीकार्य है। इसलिए बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान (प्रेरितों 17:11) बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है। 

फिर हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, इन तीनों विषयों से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं और बाइबल की सही शिक्षाओं को देखा था। 

हमने पहले तो प्रेरितों के काम में से प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित शिक्षाओं को देखा (फरवरी 19-20, 2022 के लेख), वे संक्षेप में यह हैं:

• प्रभु यीशु पूर्णतः परमेश्वर और पूर्णतः मनुष्य हैं। 

• उनके और उनकी सेवकाई के विषय पुराने नियम की सभी पुस्तकों में पहले से लिखा गया है। 

• प्रभु यीशु कलवरी के क्रूस पर मारे गए, गाड़े गए, और तीसरे दिन मृतकों में से जी भी उठे।

• उद्धार केवल प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा है, अन्य किसी के द्वारा नहीं। 

• प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास लाने वालों के जीवन बदल जाते हैं, वे निडर और परमेश्वर के प्रभावी जन बन जाते हैं, उन में होकर परमेश्वर अपनी अद्भुत सामर्थ्य संसार पर प्रकट करता है। 

• जगत के अन्त के समय, प्रभु यीशु ही के द्वारा सभी का न्याय किया जाएगा, और उन्हें उनके जीवन और कार्यों के अनुसार प्रतिफल अथवा दण्ड दिए जाएंगे। 

    यद्यपि प्रभु यीशु के विषय यह सूची अंतिम या पूर्ण नहीं है, किन्तु प्रभु यीशु के विषय जिस भी प्रचार में ये बातें नहीं हैं, या इन बातों को बदलकर बताया जाता है, वह प्रचार गलत है, झूठा है, अस्वीकार्य है। 

फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सही शिक्षाओं को तथा सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से विस्तार से देखा (फरवरी 21-मार्च 3, 2022 के लेख); जो संक्षेप में ये हैं:

• यह बाइबल का तथ्य है कि किसी भी व्यक्ति के पापों से पश्चाताप करके प्रभु यीशु को अपना उद्धारकर्ता ग्रहण करते ही, तुरंत और उसी क्षण से परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा उसमें आकर निवास करने लगता है। इसके बाद पवित्र आत्मा उस व्यक्ति में से कभी नहीं जाता है, सर्वदा उसके साथ बना रहता है। इसलिए पवित्र आत्मा को प्राप्त करने के लिए किसी को भी कोई भी अलग से प्रयास या प्रार्थना करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है; ऐसा करना व्यर्थ है, वचन के अनुसार नहीं है। 

• बाइबल यह भी सिखाती है कि पवित्र आत्मा से भर जाना, और पवित्र आत्मा से (“का” नहीं “से”) बपतिस्मा, मसीही विश्वास में आने के समय पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने की ही अभिव्यक्तियाँ हैं, कोई अतिरिक्त या “दूसरा” अनुभव नहीं। पवित्र आत्मा कोई वस्तु नहीं है जो टुकड़ों में या अंश-अंश कर के दी जा सके, वह परमेश्वर है, और एक व्यक्ति के समान जब भी जहाँ भी होगा अपनी संपूर्णता में, अपनी पूरी सामर्थ्य के साथ होगा; अभी कुछ कम और बाद में और अधिक नहीं मिलेगा। 

• प्रेरितों 2 अध्याय में जिन अन्य भाषाओं के बोलने का उल्लेख हुआ है वे पृथ्वी के ही अन्य स्थानों की भाषाएं और बोलियाँ थीं, कोई अलौकिक भाषाएं नहीं। मुँह से निरर्थक उच्चारण और आवाज़ें निकालने के द्वारा “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलने का दावा करना बाइबल के अनुसार गलत है। 

• बाइबल बिलकुल स्पष्ट सिखाती है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलना पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण नहीं है, और न ही उद्धार पाने का प्रमाण है। 

• बाइबल में कहीं इस बात का कोई संकेत अथवा प्रमाण है कि ये निरर्थक “अन्य-भाषाएं” प्रार्थना की भाषाएं हैं, इनमें की गई प्रार्थना अधिक प्रभावी होती है, या शैतान से प्रार्थना गुप्त रखने के लिए इनका प्रयोग आवश्यक है। ये सभी बाइबल से बाहर की शिक्षाएं हैं, गलत हैं। 

• “अन्य-भाषा” में बोलना परमेश्वर से बोलना नहीं है; यह दावा करना भी गलत शिक्षा है; एक ही पद को उसके संदर्भ और सही अर्थ के बाहर लेकर उसकी गलत व्याख्या करने के कारण है। 

• पवित्र आत्मा की निन्दा का पाप वह नहीं है जो आम तौर से ये गलत शिक्षाएं देने वाले बताते हैं। पवित्र आत्मा के बारे में प्रश्न करना, जिज्ञासा रखना, और जानकारी प्राप्त करने की इच्छा रखना, आदि वो क्षमा न होने वाले पाप नहीं हैं, जैसा गलत शिक्षाओं में दावा किया जाता है। वास्तव में यह निन्दा और क्षमा न किया जाने वाला पाप, प्रभु यीशु की ईश्वरीय वास्तविकता को जानते हुए भी, जान-बूझकर झूठ बोलते हुए, उसे शैतान की सामर्थ्य से कार्य करने वाला मनुष्य कहकर, जान-बूझकर उसे बदनाम करना, उसके विषय लोगों को भरमाना, और उसके विषय झूठा प्रचार करना है। 

और अन्त में हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखा (मार्च 4-11, 2022 के लेख), जिससे कि हम सही सुसमाचार क्या है देख और समझ सकें और गलत या भ्रष्ट को पहचान सकें, ताकि स्वयं भी गलत से बच कर रह सकें तथा औरों को भी बचा सकें। संक्षेप में ये शिक्षाएं है:

• सुसमाचार के संदर्भ में हमने पहले तो सुसमाचार के विषय भ्रम और गलत शिक्षाओं को पहचानने के आधार को देखा; 

• फिर हमने सच्चे और उद्धार देने वाले सुसमाचार के शैतान द्वारा बिगाड़े जाने, भ्रष्ट किए जाने, और विभिन्न रीतियों से अप्रभावी किए जाने के लिए प्रयोग की जाने वाली आम युक्तियों के बारे में देखा; 

• फिर हमने गलातीयों 1 और 2 अध्याय से वास्तविक सुसमाचार के 7 गुणों या स्वभाव को देखा, 

• और उसके बाद असली सुसमाचार के मानने से व्यक्ति के जीवन में होने वाले 7 प्रभावों को देखा जिससे हम असली और नकली सुसमाचार के मध्य पहचान कर सकें। 

परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, इफिसियों 4:14 में यह बताने के बाद कि किन बातों से बचकर रहना है, अगले पद इफिसियों 4:15 में बताता है कि किन बातों को करते रहना है, जिन्हें हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे।

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, तथा संपूर्ण जगत के समस्त लोगों के लिए पापों की क्षमा और उद्धार के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं अथवा धारणाओं में न पड़े हों। उपरोक्त बातों के अनुसार अपने आप को जाँचने के द्वारा यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आपने सच्चे सुसमाचार पर सच्चा विश्वास किया है, और आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं, और परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा के चलाए चल रहे हैं। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए।

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

English Translation

Wrong Teachings Regarding the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel

    We have seen in the previous articles that the Lord has appointed ministers for various ministries in His Church and amongst the Christian Believers, for their edification and spiritual growth (Ephesians 4:11-12). The pinnacle of the edification and spiritual growth through these ministries is that all the local churches and all Christian Believers throughout the world conform to Ephesians 4:13. In context of this verse 13, as we have seen earlier in the article of October 29, the word used in the original Greek language and translated here as “perfect”, literally means to “be complete in all manner”, i.e., to be fully ready and prepared, to be properly equipped, to have taken up the necessary provisions, equipment, wisdom and understanding to fulfill the given responsibility.

Then, from Ephesians 4:14 we saw the characteristics of child-like and immature Christian Believers, that they very easily get carried away and misled into wrong doctrines and false teachings by the cunningness and trickery of devious men. We had seen form 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 that Satan and his messengers beguile the immature Believers by masquerading as false apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light. These deceivers and their deceptive doctrines and teachings, both appear to be very attractive, interesting, and knowledgeable, even very pious and reverential. But always there are things not given in the Bible in what they preach, teach, and practice; and this is what identifies them as wrong and untrustworthy, to be wary of them and should reject them and their teachings. The wrong doctrines and false teachings preached and taught by them are mainly centred on three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel; as  the Holy Spirit has had it written through Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!” In this verse a very important way to identify the correct from the wrong and to stay safe from Satan’s ploys has also been given - all that is correct and true about these three topics, has already been given and written in God’s Word. The implication is that in any preaching, teaching, and behavior, whatever is not from, or, according to the Bible, is wrong and satanic, and should not be accepted. Therefore, like the Berean Believers (Acts 17:11), by cross-checking to confirm the preaching, teachings, and behavior from God’s Word the Bible, the right and the wrong can be identified.

After this we started to see the wrong teachings about these three topics, and also what the correct teachings from the Bible actually are.

We first saw from the Book of Acts, in the articles of November 7-8, 2022, the teachings about the Lord Jesus. In brief, these are:

• The Lord Jesus is fully God and fully man.

• About Him and His ministry, it has been written beforehand in the books of the Old Testament.

• The Lord Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary, was buried, and rose again from the dead on the third day.

• Salvation is only through the Lord Jesus and no one or nothing else.

• The lives of those who believe on the Lord Jesus are transformed; they become fearless and effective ministers of the Lord God, and God demonstrates His wonderful power to the world through them.

• At the end of the world, everyone will be judged by the Lord Jesus, and everyone will receive rewards or retribution according to what they have done and not done in their life on earth.

    Although, this list is neither complete nor final, but in any preaching and teaching about the Lord Jesus if these things are not there, or if they have been altered and manipulated, then that preaching and teaching is false, is unacceptable, has to be rejected.

After this we had seen the actual Biblical teachings about the Holy Spirit and contrasted them with the wrong preaching and teachings about the Holy Spirit, in the articles of November 9-19, 2022. They are:

• This is a Biblical fact that as soon as any person repents of his sins, and accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as his saviour, from that very moment onwards God the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him. After this, the Holy Spirit never leaves and goes away, always stays with the person. Therefore, any other efforts or prayers to receive the Holy Spirit are vain and fruitless; are not in accordance with God’s Word.

• The Bible also teaches that to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to be baptised with (not “by”, but “with”) the Holy Spirit are different expressions to state the receiving of the Holy Spirit at the time of being saved; they are not a new or ‘second’ or different experience. The Holy Spirit is not an object that can be divided up into portions and given out in bits and pieces; He is God, and if He is present in a person, He will be there in all His fullness and power; there is nothing additional that can be added to Him and His presence later on.

• The “tongues” mentioned in Acts 2, are languages and dialects of the earth, not anything extra-terrestrial. Making meaningless repetitive sounds is not “speaking in tongues”, and all such claims are wrong and unBiblical.

• The Bible very clearly says that the so-called “speaking in tongues” is not proof of having received the Holy Spirit, nor is it proof of being saved.

• There is no indication or mention in the Bible that these meaningless strange gibberish as “speaking in tongues” make prayers more effective, or are necessary to keep prayers a secret from Satan. These are all extra-Biblical and wrong teachings.

• The so-called “speaking in tongues” is not speaking with God directly; this is a false claim made on the basis of misinterpreting and misusing one verse out of its context; it is unsubstantiated by the Bible. 

• The sin of “Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” is not what is commonly preached and taught by these purveyors of wrong doctrines and false teachings. To be curious about the Holy Spirit, ask questions about Him, wanting to learn and know more about Him, etc. are not things that come under the purview of the “unforgiveable sin”, as is commonly claimed in the wrong teachings. Actually, Biblically speaking, this unforgiveable sin of the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is having known the truth about the Lord Jesus and His power, still deliberately and falsely attributing His power to be the power of the devil, to defame Him, to spread wrong teachings about Him, and to instigate people against Him.

And then finally we had seen about the teachings related to the Gospel, in the articles of November 20-27, 2022. We had seen what the true Gospel actually is, so that we can understand and identify the wrong or corrupted gospel, and keep ourselves as well as other safe from the wrong teachings and doctrines. In brief these teachings are:

• In context of the Gospel, we had first seen the basis of recognizing the false teachings and deceptions spread about the Gospel.

• Then we saw the various ploys, devices, and methods through which Satan spoils and corrupts the true life-giving Gospel, and the various mechanisms by which he renders the gospel ineffective.

• Then, from Galatians chapter 1 & 2, we first saw the 7 characteristics, i.e., the nature of the true Gospel.

• Then we saw the 7 effects that accepting and following the true Gospel brings in the life of a person. These 7 characteristics, and the 7 effects help us to discern between the true and the false gospel.

    The Holy Spirit, after telling in Ephesians 4:14 the things to be wary of and stay safe from, in the next verse, Ephesians 4:15, tells us what all to keep doing; and we will look into these in the next article. If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

सही सुसमाचार के 7 प्रभाव (2)

हम पिछले लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, “यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता”, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है।

 

पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा; और अब पिछले कुछ लेखों से हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है, जिससे कि हम सही सुसमाचार क्या है देख और समझ सकें और गलत या भ्रष्ट को पहचान सकें, ताकि स्वयं भी गलत से बच कर रह सकें तथा औरों को भी बचा सकें। इस संदर्भ में पिछले लेखों में हमने सुसमाचार के विषय भ्रम और गलत शिक्षाएं को पहचानने के आधार को देखा था, फिर हमने सच्चे और उद्धार देने वाले सुसमाचार के शैतान द्वारा बिगाड़े जाने, भ्रष्ट किए जाने, और विभिन्न रीतियों से अप्रभावी किए जाने वाली आम युक्तियों के बारे में देखा; फिर हमने गलातीयों 1 अध्याय से वास्तविक सुसमाचार के 7 गुणों या स्वभाव को देखा है, जिससे असली और नकली के मध्य पहचान कर सकें; और उसके बाद गलातीयों 1 और 2 अध्याय से असली सुसमाचार के मानने से व्यक्ति के जीवन में होने वाले 7 प्रभावों को देखना आरंभ किया। पिछले लेख में हमने अध्याय 1 में से इनमें से पहले दो प्रभाव देखे हैं। शेष पाँच प्रभाव अध्याय 2 में हैं, जिन्हें हम आज के लेख में देखेंगे।

असली सुसमाचार के 7 प्रभाव:

पिछले लेख में हम गलातीयों 1 अध्याय से असली या सही सुसमाचार के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु के सच्चे विश्वासी जन और उसकी वास्तविक कलीसिया में आने वाले पहले दो प्रभावों को देख चुके हैं। इनमें से पहला प्रभाव है कि सही या वास्तविक सुसमाचार व्यक्ति को मनुष्यों के नहीं परमेश्वर के भय और आज्ञाकारिता में चलने, हर परिस्थिति और हर कीमत पर केवल परमेश्वर ही को प्रसन्न करने की मनसा में बने रहने की सामर्थ्य और मार्गदर्शन देता है, और मनुष्यों के एहसान, नियंत्रण, तथा अधीनता में रहने के स्वभाव से मुक्त करता है। और दूसरा प्रभाव है कि सही या असली सुसमाचार परमेश्वर के लोगों के मध्य परस्पर प्रेम, मेल-मिलाप, सहभागिता, सहिष्णुता को बढ़ावा देता है, एक दूसरे के लिए परमेश्वर की महिमा करने को प्रेरित करता है, न कि विभाजन, बैर, अलगाव और विरोध तथा एक-दूसरे से ऊँचा-नीचा होने की भावनाओं को। आज हम यहाँ से आगे, सही या असली सुसमाचार के शेष पाँच प्रभाव, गलातीयों 2 अध्याय से देखेंगे:

1. गलातीयों 2:1-2 - सही सुसमाचार का तीसरा प्रभाव हम पौलुस की सेवकाई के उदाहरण में देखते हैं। पौलुस को परमेश्वर ने अन्य-जातियों में सुसमाचार सुनाने के लिए ठहराया था (प्रेरितों 9:15)। परमेश्वर की अगुवाई में चौदह वर्ष तक अन्य-जातियों में सेवकाई के बाद परमेश्वर ने उसे यरूशलेम जाने के लिए कहा, और वह बरनबास तथा तीतुस के साथ यरूशलेम को गया। तीसरा प्रभाव है कि सही सुसमाचार के पालन और सेवकाई से परमेश्वर की सहायता, उस का मार्गदर्शन मिलता है, और परमेश्वर का जन औरों के साथ मिलकर, औरों को भी आदर और अवसर देते हुए अपनी इस ज़िम्मेदारी को निभाता है। 

2. चौथा प्रभाव भी हम गलातीयों 2:1-2 में ही देखते हैं। यहाँ दो पद बताता है कि ईश्वरीय प्रकाशन के अनुसार पौलुस यरूशलेम को गया, इस उद्देश्य से कि उन्हें अपनी सेवकाई और प्रचार के बारे में बताए - उन्हें सिखाने या उन्हें प्रभावित करने के लिए नहीं, वरन यरूशलेम में कलीसिया में बड़े समझे जाने वाले लोगों के द्वारा जाँचे जाने के लिए कि कहीं उसका परिश्रम व्यर्थ तो नहीं है (पद 2 का अंतिम वाक्य देखिए)। सही सुसमाचार का चौथा प्रभाव है कि उसके अनुसार चलने वाला व्यक्ति विनम्र और इस सेवकाई में लगे अन्य वरिष्ठ लोगों द्वारा जाँचे तथा सुधारे जाने के लिए तैयार रहता है; उसमें घमण्ड और अपनी सेवकाई में सिद्ध होने की भावना नहीं होती है। 

3. गलातीयों 2:3-5 - सही सुसमाचार के अनुसार चलने और कार्य करने के द्वारा प्रभु का जन और कलीसिया, “झूठे भाइयों”, मण्डली में गलत शिक्षाओं को लाने और फैलाने वाले लोगों पहचानने पाते हैं, और उनका सामना करने, उनके आगे न झुकने की समझ और सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करते हैं। सही सुसमाचार का पाँचवां प्रभाव है सही और गलत का आँकलन करने और सही पर बने रहने तथा गलत का प्रतिरोध करने की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करना। 

4. गलातीयों 2:6-10 - हम यहाँ 6 पद के आरंभ से ही देखते हैं कि यरूशलेम में कलीसिया के अगुवों के द्वारा पौलुस को कोई भी नई बात सीखने को नहीं मिली; उसके सुसमाचार प्रचार और सेवकाई में कोई त्रुटि नहीं थी। लेकिन फिर भी प्रभु उसे यरूशलेम लेकर आया था, उसे अपनी सेवकाई को उन अगुवों के सामने रखने के लिए कहा था। लेकिन 9 पद में हम उसके आने से हुए लाभ को देखते हैं - जब यरूशलेम के अगुवों ने उसकी सेवकाई के बारे में जान और समझ लिया, तो उसे अपने साथ सम्मिलित भी कर लिया, प्रोत्साहित भी किया और अपना सहकर्मी भी स्वीकार कर लिया; और 10 पद में सेवकाई में ध्यान रखने वाली मूल बातों के विषय स्मरण करवाया। पौलुस का यरूशलेम आना हमारी शिक्षा के लिए भी था - कि हम उसके जीवन और व्यवहार से सेवकाई और सुसमाचार के प्रभावों को सीख सकें। सही सुसमाचार के पालन का छठवाँ प्रभाव है वह अन्य स्थानों तथा लोगों के मध्य लगे लोगों के प्रति भी सहभागिता और सहायता के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है, उन्हें भी सेवकाई के लिए मार्गदर्शन करता है। 

5. गलातीयों 2:11-14 - पौलुस के यरूशलेम से वापस लौट जाने के कुछ समय बाद अब पतरस उसके पास अन्‍ताकिया गया। किन्तु वहाँ पर पतरस के व्यवहार को लेकर एक परिस्थिति उत्पन्न हो गई और पतरस दोगलेपन में गिर गया। यह आज हमको सचेत करता है कि प्रभु के बड़े से बड़े सेवक भी गलती में पड़ सकते हैं, मनुष्यों को दिखाने के लिए अपना व्यवहार बदल सकते हैं, जो औरों के लिए ठोकर का कारण भी बन सकता है। इसलिए व्यक्ति की शारीरिक और आत्मिक “आयु” के अनुसार या कलीसिया में उसके ओहदे के अनुसार नहीं, वरन उसके व्यवहार के अनुसार, हर बात के लिए आँकलन करते रहना चाहिए। लेकिन पौलुस ने पतरस को इस दोगलेपन में बने नहीं रहने दिया, वरन तुरंत ही उसका सामना किया, और उसे सुधारा। पतरस ने भी, उपरोक्त चौथे प्रभाव के अनुरूप, इस बात का बुरा नहीं माना, इससे अपने अहं पर ठेस नहीं आने दी, और आगे चलकर अपनी पत्री में पौलुस को अपना “प्रिय भाई” कहा और उसके दर्शन एवं सेवकाई के लिए उसकी प्रशंसा की (2 पतरस 3:15-16)। सही सुसमाचार के पालन ने पतरस को भी विनम्र और सुधार के लिए तत्पर बना दिया था। किन्तु पौलुस की प्रतिक्रिया पतरस के विनम्र होने पर आधारित नहीं थी; पौलुस की बात के लिए पतरस उसे जो भी प्रतिक्रिया देता, पौलुस उसे सुनने और सहने के लिए तैयार था; किन्तु मण्डली में किसी गलत व्यवहार और उदाहरण को सहन करने के लिए तैयार नहीं था। सही सुसमाचार का सातवाँ प्रभाव है कि वह व्यावहारिक मसीही जीवन में होने वाली गलतियों को पहचानने और उन्हें सुधारने के लिए औरों का सामना करने की हिम्मत और सामर्थ्य देता है; उनके ओहदे या स्तर के भय कारण गलतियों के प्रति आँख मूँद लेने, और प्रभु के जन को उन में बने ही रहने देने वाला नहीं होने देता है। 

सही और असली सुसमाचार से संबंधित इन लेखों का सारांश यही है कि सही और सच्चा सुसमाचार परमेश्वर की ओर से, उसके अनुग्रह, उसकी शांति, और उसकी समझ और बुद्धि और ज्ञान और सामर्थ्य के साथ आता है। सही सुसमाचार पूर्णतः प्रभु यीशु मसीह द्वारा समस्त मानव जाति को उनके किन्हीं कर्मों के द्वारा नहीं परंतु अपनी क्षमा और अनुग्रह के द्वारा पापों से छुटकारा देने के लिए कलवारी के क्रूस पर दिए गए बलिदान के बारे में है; इसमें किसी भी मनुष्य के कैसे भी कोई भी योगदान या काम का कोई भी स्थान नहीं है - लेश-मात्र भी नहीं। सही सुसमाचार का निर्वाह संसार की बुराइयों से छुड़ाता है, मसीही विश्वासियों में प्रेम, एक-मनता, सहभागिता, संगति, एक-दूसरे को उभारने, उठाने और सुधारने को प्रोत्साहित करता है; विभाजन और अलगाव नहीं मेल-मिलाप लाता है। सही सुसमाचार के प्रचार और निर्वाह के द्वारा प्रभु परमेश्वर की महिमा होती है, किसी मनुष्य अथवा संस्था की नहीं। जिस भी सुसमाचार में, सुसमाचार की सेवकाई और प्रचार में, ये स्वभाव और प्रभाव नहीं हैं, वह “कोई अन्य ही सुसमाचार” है, गलत और झूठा है, उसका तिरस्कार करके सही को अपनाना अनिवार्य है।

 

अभी तक हम इफिसियों 4:14 के अनुसार प्रभु की कलीसिया और उसके अपरिपक्व अनुयायियों के शैतान के द्वारा प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार से संबंधित फैलाई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं और उन शिक्षाओं के कारण प्रभु के लोगों के “मनुष्यों की ठग-विद्या और चतुराई से उन के भ्रम की युक्तियों की, और उपदेश की, हर एक बयार से उछाले, और इधर-उधर घुमाए” जाने, तथा उन्हें पहचानने और उससे बचने के वचन में दिए गए उपायों के बारे में देखते आ रहे थे। अगले लेख से हम इन बातों का सारांश और फिर उसके बाद इफिसियों 4:15-16 से कलीसिया और मसीही विश्वासी के परिपक्व होने, उस परिपक्वता में बढ़ने के बारे में देखेंगे।

 

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं धारणाओं में न पड़े हों। सच्चे सुसमाचार के स्वभाव के अनुसार अपने आप को जाँचने के द्वारा यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आपने सच्चे सुसमाचार पर सच्चा विश्वास किया है, और आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें।

 

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

The 7 Effects of the True Gospel (2)

We have been seeing in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!” In this verse a very important way to identify the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. Now, we have started to take up the wrong teachings about the Gospel. For this we first need to know, learn, and understand the correct or Biblical things about the Gospel. In the Introduction to this topic, we had seen that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus is not about any earthly kingdom, wealth or prosperity, but about man being able to enter the kingdom of God. We had seen that the first step to man’s entering God’s kingdom is his repenting of sins, which is equally important and applicable for everybody, no matter what their religion, beliefs, notions, or community may be; even if your family has been “christian” for many generations and you may be considering yourself as “people of God.” In the last article we moved ahead from here, and saw what the Gospel is, what it means; that it is an information from God for entire mankind, irrespective of religion, caste, creed, age, belief etc. for being saved from sins freely through the Lord Jesus. It is not a tradition, ritual, or method, the fulfillment of which enables a person to reach a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” so that God becomes compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. The Gospel becomes effective and working in a person’s life by his repenting of his sins, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive him, and surrendering his life to the Lord Jesus. In the previous article we had seen the various ploys and devices that Satan uses to corrupt and spoil the true and life-giving Gospel, and renders it ineffective. Today we will see characteristics of the true Gospel, so that we can discern between the correct and the wrong teachings about the Gospel.

Since the beginning if the Church, Satan had also begun to corrupt the Gospel through preachers and teachers of false doctrines and wrong teachings, and has spread his disinformation to render the gospel ineffective in people’s lives. Satan’s intention was to beguile people through deceptive teachings, to keep them involved in the deception of being righteous through good works, learners of the Scriptures, and seekers of the Lord, etc., through human efforts and means, thereby keep them away from accepting and following the true Gospel and living the practical Christian life (Colossians 2:6-8). Thereby, they will stay away from being saved, while assuming that they too are saved and worthy of being in heaven. But God the Holy Spirit had got it written and made available through the disciples of the Lord Jesus, how to identify the false teachings of Satan, and recognize the true life-saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, whoever sincerely wants to learn God’s Word with a truly committed and surrendered heart from the Holy Spirit, will be able to discern between the true and the false. Writing to the Church in Galatia through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul wrote: “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ” (Galatians 1:6-7). The letter to the Galatians has been written on this theme, the true Gospel, identifying the false gospel, being misled from the Gospel etc., and the first two chapters of this letter give us the identification marks of the true Gospel, the characteristics, nature, and effects of the correct Gospel of the Lord Jesus have been given here.

In the previous articles we had seen from Galatians 1:1-7 the nature or characteristics of the true Gospel, to enable discerning between the true and the false Gospel. In the last article we began to see the 7 effects that come about in a person’s life, when he accepts and starts living by the true Gospel. The first two of these seven effects are given in Galatian chapter 1, which we have already seen, and the remaining five effects are in chapter 2, which we will see today.

The 7 Effects of the True Gospel (Contd.):

We saw in the last article that the first effect of the true Gospel is that it encourages the Believers to live and walk in the fear and obedience of God, not man; and to please God in all things, releasing men from the tendency of being ‘man-pleasers’ and of living under the control of men. The second effect of the true Gospel that we saw was that it promotes love, reconciliation, fellowship, tolerance, and praising God for each other, etc., instead of divisions, discord, separation, opposition, and creating feelings of superiority or inferiority. The remining five effects, given in Galatians chapter 2, we will see today:

1. Galatians 2:1-2 - The Third effect of the true Gospel we see in the example of the ministry of Paul. Paul had been appointed for preaching the Gospel amongst the gentiles (Acts 9:15). After labouring for fourteen years amongst the gentiles, God asked him to go to Jerusalem, and so he came to Jerusalem along with Barnabas and Titus. The third effect that we see here is that living and serving by the true Gospel provides help and guidance from God, and encourages the person to fulfill his ministry by involving the other Believers, giving them the honor and opportunity for ministry as well.

2. The Fourth effect is also seen in Galatians 2:1-2; here verse 2 says that Paul went to Jerusalem by revelation from God, to share with them about his preaching and ministry - not to teach or impress them, but to be evaluated by the elders in Jerusalem, lest his labour be in vain (see the last part of verse 2). The Fourth effect of the Gospel is that the follower of the true Gospel is humble and submissive, willing to be evaluated and corrected by the other seniors engaged in the same ministry; he does not harbor any pride or sense of superiority or perfection about what he is doing.

3. Galatians 2:3-5 - The Believers who live by the true Gospel have the courage and ability to confront the “false brethren” who have sneaked into the Church or Assembly, not bow down to them, nor be tolerant or subservient to them. The Fifth effect of the true Gospel is that it provides the ability, wisdom, and strength to firmly stand up and speak against the wrong and oppose it, while resolutely following the right, even in a different locality.

4. Galatians 2:6-10 - From this passage we see from verse 6 that Paul did not learn anything new from the elders of the Church in Jerusalem; nor could they point out any error or short-coming in his preaching and ministry. But his coming to Jerusalem was not in vain; in verse 9 we see a benefit of his coming to Jerusalem - when the elders in Jerusalem came to know about him and his ministry, they also included him in their ranks, “giving him the right hand of fellowship”, and encouraged him. Then in verse 10 they emphasized upon the main things to be kept in mind during ministry. Paul’s coming to Jerusalem was for our learning as well, so that we can learn from his life, ministry, and behaviour the effects of the true Gospel. The Sixth effect of the following the true Gospel is that it encourages the Church of a locality to join into their fellowship the ministers of the true Gospel serving in other places and guide them in their ministry.

5. Galatians 2:11-14 - Sometime after Paul had returned from Jerusalem to Antioch, Peter came to meet him. But because of Peter’s changing to a hypocritical behaviour, an untoward situation. This serves as a point of caution for us, that even a very senior and mature elder can slip up, fall into hypocrisy, change their behaviour, and become a stumbling block for other Believers. Therefore, one should not go only by the physical or spiritual age, nor by the seniority or status of a person in the Church. But we should always assess everything of the person’s teachings and behaviour through God’s Word, before accepting what he says. But Paul did not let Peter remain in the hypocrisy; he openly confronted and corrected him. Peter too did not feel bad about it, did not let it hurt his ego, and later, called Paul his “Dear Brother” and praised Paul for his spiritual insights and ministry (2 Peter 3:15-16). Believing in and following the true Gospel made Peter too, as mentioned the Fourth effect, to be humble and open to corrections. But Paul’s reaction was not dependent upon Peter’s being humble; no matter how Peter may have reacted to what Paul said, Paul was ready and willing to put up with it and bear it; but Paul was not ready to put up with any wrong behaviour and example in the Church or Assembly. The Seventh effect of the true Gospel is that it gives the courage and strength to not only discern the wrongs and errors in practical Christian life but to speak up and correct them too; irrespective of the stature or position of the one committing that error, does not let a Believer continue in his wrong.

In short the true Gospel comes from God along with God’s grace, peace, understanding, wisdom, and knowledge. The true Gospel is about the forgiveness of sins and salvation made freely available to the all of mankind by the Lord Jesus Christ through His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, not through any kinds of works done by any man; no man has any role or contribution in this salvation - none at all. The acceptance and following of the true Gospel delivers from the evils of the world, and promotes mutual love, unity, fellowship, cooperation, lifting each other up, encouraging, and correcting one-another, etc. amongst the Christian Believers. The preaching and living by the true Gospel glorifies the Lord Jesus, not any person or organization. If these characteristics and effects are not present in any gospel being preached in the name of the Lord, it is false, wrong, and “another gospel” that is not to be accepted and believed, but necessarily has to be rejected out rightly.

So far, we have been considering on the basis of Ephesians 4:14 about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and how Satan beguiles and misleads the immature and child-like Christian Believers through teachings about the Lord Jesus, about the Holy Spirit, and about the Gospel, so that they are “...tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.” In the next article we will see the summary of what we have seen so far, and then we will see from Ephesians 4:15-16 about the Christian Believers and the Church becoming mature, and growing in that maturity.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
