सुसमाचार क्या है? (1)

हम पिछले लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है। 

पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा; और पिछले लेखों से हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है, इस विषय के परिचय को देखा है। इस परिचय में हमने देखा है कि प्रभु यीशु का सुसमाचार किसी सांसारिक राज्य, संपत्ति अथवा संपन्नता के बारे में नहीं है, वरन परमेश्वर के राज्य में मनुष्य के प्रवेश प्राप्त करने के बारे में है। इस प्रवेश के लिए सबसे पहला कदम है प्रत्येक व्यक्ति द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रीति से अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करना, जो सभी के लिए समान रीति से अनिवार्य है, चाहे वे किसी भी धर्म, धारणा, मान्यता, या समुदाय के हों, चाहे अपने आप को पिछली कई पीढ़ियों “प्रभु के लोग” अर्थात ईसाई या मसीही होना ही क्यों न समझते हों। आज हम यहाँ से आगे बढ़ेंगे और देखेंगे कि सुसमाचार क्या है। 

सुसमाचार क्या है?

 

जैसा हम पिछले लेख में देख चुके हैं, सुसमाचार शब्द का अर्थ है भला समाचार या अच्छी खबर। यह लोगों को प्रदान की जाने वाली जानकारी है; यह कोई प्रथा, परंपरा, या विधि नहीं है जिसे करने के द्वारा व्यक्ति धार्मिकता के किसी विशेष स्तर पर पहुँच जाता है, और परमेश्वर फिर उसे अपने राज्य में प्रवेश देने के लिए बाध्य हो जाता है। संसार के लिए सुसमाचार अच्छा समाचार तब ही हो सकता है, जब उसकी तुलना में कुछ बुरा समाचार भी हो, और वह बुरा समाचार सारे संसार के सभी लोगों पर लागू हो; अन्यथा सुसमाचार वास्तव में सुसमाचार हो ही नहीं सकता है। इस “बुरे समाचार” को हम परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल के कुछ पदों से देखते हैं:

* रोमियों 3:23 इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया है और परमेश्वर की महिमा से रहित हैं।

* रोमियों 5:12 इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया।

* रोमियों 6:23 क्योंकि पाप की मजदूरी तो मृत्यु है, परन्तु परमेश्वर का वरदान हमारे प्रभु मसीह यीशु में अनन्त जीवन है। 

अर्थात, संसार का प्रत्येक मनुष्य, उस पाप के दोष के साथ जन्म लेता है, जो अदन की वाटिका में आदम और हव्वा के पाप करने से मनुष्य जाति में प्रवेश कर गया था, अनुवांशिक रीति से उनमें बस गया था, जो एक से दूसरी पीढ़ी में फैलने वाला दोष था। उस पाप के कारण मृत्यु ने सृष्टि में प्रवेश किया, और मृत्यु सभी मनुष्यों में फैल गई। यह मृत्यु दो प्रकार की है - आत्मिक और शारीरिक। आत्मिक मृत्यु के कारण मनुष्य परमेश्वर की संगति और सहभागिता से दूर है; और शारीरिक मृत्यु के कारण वह अन्ततः एक दिन मरेगा ही। परिणामस्वरूप मनुष्य जन्म लेते ही मरना आरंभ कर देता है, और उसकी आयु पूरी हो जाने पर मर जाता है। मनुष्य अपनी स्वाभाविक पापमय दशा में ऐसा कुछ भी कर पाने के अयोग्य है जिसके द्वारा वह अपनी इस परिस्थिति को पलट सके, अपने किन्हीं कर्मों अथवा प्रयासों के द्वारा परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी और उसे स्वीकार्य बन सके। हम इस विषय को विस्तार से पहले के कुछ लेखों में देख चुके हैं, इसलिए यहाँ इन पर और अधिक चर्चा नहीं करेंगे। अर्थात, बुरी खबर या बुरा समाचार यह है कि संसार में जन्म लेने वाला प्रत्येक मनुष्य अपनी स्वाभाविक पापी दशा के कारण परमेश्वर से दूर, और अपना जीवन काल समाप्त हो जाने के पश्चात अनन्त मृत्यु, यानि कि हमेशा के लिए परमेश्वर से दूर नरक में रहने की दशा में है।

समस्त मानव जाति के लिए भला समाचार क्या है, इसे हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे। 

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़े हों। यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें। 

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Understanding What the Gospel is (1)

We have been seeing in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify between the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. In the preceding articles we had started to consider the wrong teachings about the Gospel, and had gone through the Introduction to this topic. In this Introduction we had seen that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus is not about any earthly kingdom, wealth or prosperity, but about man being able to enter the kingdom of God. We had seen that the first step to man’s entering God’s kingdom is his repenting of sins, which is equally important and applicable for everybody, no matter what their religion, beliefs, concepts, or community may be; even if their family has been “christian” for many generations and they may be considering themself as “people of God.” Today we will proceed ahead from here, and see what the Gospel is.

What is the Gospel?

As we have seen in the previous article, the literal meaning of the word Gospel is ‘good news.’ It is an information being provided to the people; it is not a tradition, ritual, or method the fulfillment of which enables a person to reach a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” so that God becomes compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. Any news or information can be seen as good for the whole world, only when there is ‘bad news’ in comparison; and that ‘bad news’ is universally applicable to all people of the world. Only then can ‘good news’ actually be the good news for the entire world. What this ‘bad news’ is, we will see from some verses from God’s Word the Bible:

* Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

* Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned

* Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    In other words, every person born in this world, is born with sin, which entered into mankind because of the sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and this sin has the tendency to be genetically passed down, spreading to all generations of mankind since then. Because of that sin, death entered creation, and spread to all of mankind. This death is of two kinds, spiritual and physical. Because of spiritual death man is separated from the fellowship of God; and because of physical death, every person will eventually die. Consequently, every person begins to die from the moment of his birth, and the process is completed with the completion of his life-span. In his natural sinful state, man is absolutely incapable of doing anything to overturn this condition that he is in, and thereby to become righteous and sinless in God’s eyes, become acceptable to Him, through any of his own works or efforts. We have already seen this in detail in some of the earlier articles, therefore, we will not go into the details of it now. Therefore, the ‘bad news’ is that every person born on earth, in his natural condition, is separated from God, and in a state of being eternally separated from God in hell after his time on earth is over.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

       पिछले लेख स हमने 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में उल्लेखित तीन बातों में से तीसरी बात, सुसमाचार के बारे में देखना आरम्भ किया है। हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं कि ये तीन बातें, अर्थात प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार वे तीन विषय हैं जिन पर शैतान, गलत शिक्षाओं के द्वारा, सबसे अधिक हमला करता है, उन्हें भ्रष्ट करने का भरसक प्रयास करता है। इनमें से पहली दो बातों को देख लेने के बाद, पिछले लेख से हमने तीसरी बात, सुसमाचार पर विचार करना आरम्भ किया है। हमने देखा था कि शब्द "सुसमाचार" का शब्दार्थ होता है 'अच्छा समाचार' और इस शब्द का सबसे उल्लेख मत्ती 4:23 में आया है, जहाँ पर प्रभु यीशु मसीह की सेवकाई का आरम्भ दिया गया है।  यहाँ से, पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि प्रभु की सेवकाई से सम्बन्धित दो महत्वपूर्ण बातें हैं, जिनका हमें अनुसरण करना है। पहली बात, जिस हम पिछली बार देख चुके हैं, है कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने पृथ्वी पर अपनी सेवकाई का आरम्भ तीन पृथक एवं भिन्न बातों को करण करने साथ किया - उन्होंने परमेश्वर के राज्य बारे में सिखाया, सुसमाचार का प्रचार किया, तथा बीमारों को चँगा किया। ये प्रभु की सेवकाई के तीन भाग थे, परन्तु ये तीनों एक ही नहीं हैं, जैसा हम पिछले लेख में देख चुके हैं। इसलिए, इनमें से चँगा करने को अत्यधिक महत्व देना, और सुसमाचार प्रचार करने तथा परमेश्वर के राज्य के बारे सिखाने की अनदेखी करना, या कम महत्व देना, प्रभु की सेवकाई के नमूने से सुसंगत नहीं है। और हमें अपनी सेवकाई के लिए प्रभु की सेवकाई के नमूने का ही अनुसरण करना है। आज हम कही गई दूसरी बात के बारे में विचार करेंगे।

 

       (2) दूसरी बात, सुसमाचार एक राज्य के बारे में है, किसी व्यक्ति, धारणा, धर्म, रीति-रिवाज़, या परंपरा के बारे में नहीं है। प्रभु ने अपनी पृथ्वी की सेवकाई का आरंभ सुसमाचार प्रचार के साथ किया, और अपने उस उदाहरण के द्वारा हमें उस सुसमाचार प्रचार का स्वरूप प्रदान किया: उस समय से यीशु प्रचार करना और यह कहना आरम्भ किया, कि मन फिराओ क्योंकि स्वर्ग का राज्य निकट आया है (मत्ती 4:17)। यहाँ हम देखते हैं कि प्रभु द्वारा किए जाने वाले प्रचार या उपदेश का विषय था “... मन फिराओ क्योंकि स्वर्ग का राज्य निकट आया है”; और यही सुसमाचार का स्वरूप है। और यह इसीलिए सुसमाचार या अच्छी खबर है क्योंकि यह शीघ्र ही नष्ट हो जाने वाली इस नाशमान पृथ्वी और उसकी सभी नाशमान बातों से बचाए जाकर, अविनाशी परमेश्वर के अनन्तकालीन राज्य और उसकी अनन्त आशीषों में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने तथा सदा काल तक उसके साथ रहने के बारे में है (1 यूहन्ना 2:15-17)। सुसमाचार इस पृथ्वी पर किसी राज्य, या किसी शारीरिक उपलब्धि, या भौतिक संपत्ति अथवा संपन्नता के बारे में नहीं है। वह परमेश्वर के राज्य के बारे में है, जो निकट आ गया है, स्थापित होने वाला है; और जो कोई उसमें प्रवेश चाहता है, उसके प्रवेश पाने का पहला कदम पश्चाताप करना है। किसी भी व्यक्ति द्वारा बिना पापों से पश्चाताप किए सुसमाचार में कोई प्रगति या स्वीकृति नहीं है।

 

       ध्यान करें कि प्रभु यीशु ने यह प्रचार यहूदियों, यानि कि परमेश्वर की चुनी हुई प्रजा के लोगों के, जो पीढ़ियों से परमेश्वर की व्यवस्था, अपने धर्म के पर्वों, भेंटों, बलिदानों, आदि का पालन करते थे, उनके मध्य में करना आरंभ किया। इसी से प्रकट है कि पश्चाताप करना सभी के लिए है, चाहे वे “प्रभु परमेश्वर के लोग” ही क्यों न हों, जो चाहे कितनी भी पीढ़ियों से अपने धर्म की मान्यताओं, परंपराओं, और रीति-रिवाजों को मानते-मनाते चले आ रहे हों। परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश उन्हें केवल पश्चाताप से आरंभ करने के द्वारा ही प्राप्त होगा, किसी भी अन्य बात के आधार पर नहीं। साथ ही यह भी साधारण और स्पष्ट बात है कि पश्चाताप हमेशा ही हर व्यक्ति के द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रीति से अपने ही पापों के लिए किया जा सकता है। माता-पिता या पूर्वजों का किया गया पश्चाताप उनकी संतानों के लिए कार्यकारी नहीं होता है; और न ही परिवार के किसी सदस्य का उद्धार पाना और परमेश्वर की निकटता में बढ़ना, परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों को उद्धार प्रदान करता है।

 

       यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर से संबंधित किसी भी बात के बारे में गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़े हों या पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएँ, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।

Wrong Teachings Related to the Gospel - Introduction (2)

 

       Since the previous article, we have started to look up the third of the three things mentioned in 2 Corinthians 11:4, that Satan tries his utmost to correct through wrong teachings, i.e., the Gospel. In the preceding articles, we have already considered the other two things named in this verse, i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ, and God the Hoy Spirit. In the last article we have seen that the word Gospel literally means 'Good News.' This term, preaching the gospel has been used for the first time in Matthew 4:23, where the beginning of the ministry of the Lord Jesus is first mentioned. From this, we also saw in the last article that there are two important things related to the Lord's ministry that we must follow. The first, which we considered last time, is that the Lord Jesus began His earthly ministry by doing three separate and different things - taught about the Kingdom of God, preached the gospel, and healed the sick. These were the three components of His ministry; but these three are not one and the same thing, as we saw in the previous article. Therefore, giving excessive importance to healings, and neglecting preaching the gospel and teaching about the Kingdom of God, are not consistent with the pattern given to us to follow through the Lord's ministry. Today, we will take up and consider the second thing.

        (2) The second thing is that the Gospel is about a kingdom; it is not about any person, concept, religion, rites and rituals, or traditions. The Lord began His ministry with the preaching of the Gospel, and through that example has provided to us the form of preaching the Gospel: From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17). We see from this that the theme of the Lord’s preaching was “...Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”; and that is what the preaching of the Gospel should be about. And, it is a ‘good news’ because it is about being saved from the soon to be destroyed world and all its things that will perish with it, and being delivered into the eternal kingdom of God, its blessings, and being with Him forever (1 John 2:15-17). The Gospel is not about establishing any kingdom on earth, or about some temporal accomplishment, or about gaining any physical wealth and prosperity. It is about the kingdom of God that is now at hand, ready to be established; and whoever wants to be a part of it, the first step for entry is to repent. Without repentance from sins no person can ever be accepted or grow in the Gospel.

        Take note, the Lord Jesus began His preaching amongst the Jews, i.e. the chosen people of God, who for generations had been observing and following the Law, and the religious festivals, sacrifices and offerings prescribed in it. This by itself makes it evident that repentance is mandatory for everyone, even for the people of God, for those who for many generations have been observing and following the ideas, traditions, rites and rituals, feasts and festivals of their religion. The first step for entry into God’s kingdom is repentance; that is the one and only basis and without repentance no one can enter the kingdom of God. This is also an evident and straightforward fact that a person can repent only for his own sins. The repentance of the parents or forefathers is ineffective for the children and the subsequent generations. Similarly, the salvation of a person in the family and his growing in the nearness and knowledge of God, does not save the other members of the family, nor make the others grow in the nearness of God.

        If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about anything; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

        If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

आज से हम 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में गलत शिक्षाओं के तीसरे विषय सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं पर विचार आरंभ करेंगे। हम पहले इस विषय का परिचय लेंगे, फिर देखेंगे कि सुसमाचार क्या है; क्योंकि जब तक किसी भी बात के “असली” या “वास्तविकता” की जानकारी और पहचान नहीं होगी, तब तक उसके “नकली” या “अवास्तविक” को जानना और पहचानना कठिन होगा। और फिर देखेंगे कि कैसे शैतान उसे बिगाड़ता है, भ्रष्ट करता है, अप्रभावी करता है, और फिर वचन से सही और गलत सुसमाचार को पहचानने और उनमें भिन्नता करने की बातों को देखेंगे। 

सुसमाचार का परिचय

जैसा कि शब्द “सुसमाचार” से ही प्रकट है, इसका शब्दार्थ है भला समाचार या अच्छी खबर, जो मूल यूनानी भाषा में प्रयोग किए गए शब्द के अनुरूप ही है; अर्थात यह एक भला या अच्छा समाचार है, जानकारी है। तात्पर्य यह कि सुसमाचार लोगों के पास किसी बात के बारे में अच्छा समाचार पहुंचाता है। उन तक पहुंचाए गए उस समाचार या जानकारी को स्वीकार अथवा अस्वीकार करना, प्रत्येक सुनने वाले का अपना निर्णय है। इससे प्रश्न उठता है कि यह जानकारी या समाचार किस बात के विषय है और इसे भला क्यों कहते हैं? परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में शब्द “सुसमाचार” का किया गया प्रथम प्रयोग इसके विषय हमें बताता है: और यीशु सारे गलील में फिरता हुआ उन की सभाओं में उपदेश करता और राज्य का सुसमाचार प्रचार करता, और लोगों की हर प्रकार की बीमारी और दुर्बलता को दूर करता रहा (मत्ती 4:23)। यह बात प्रभु यीशु द्वारा उनकी पृथ्वी की सेवकाई आरंभ करने के समय कही गई है, अर्थात प्रभु यीशु ने अपनी पृथ्वी की सेवकाई का आरंभ उपदेश करने, राज्य के सुसमाचार का लोगों की सभाओं में प्रचार करने, तथा लोगों को बीमारियों और दुर्बलताओं से चंगा करने के साथ किया। 

यहाँ पर प्रभु की इस बात में ध्यान देने योग्य दो महत्वपूर्ण बातें हैं - 

(1) पहली बात, इस पद के अनुसार प्रभु यीशु ने तीन कार्य किए - उपदेश दिया, सुसमाचार का प्रचार किया, और लोगों को उनकी बीमारियों और दुर्बलताओं से चंगा किया। अर्थात, सुसमाचार में, और उपदेश देने में तथा लोगों को बीमारियों से चंगा करने में अन्तर है; तीनों एक ही नहीं हैं; प्रभु यीशु ने अपनी सेवकाई के आरंभ से ही इन तीनों अलग-अलग कार्यों को किया। आज यह गलत धारणा लोगों में फैली हुई है कि इन तीनों में से किसी एक का किया जाना, शेष दोनों को भी किए जाने के बराबर है; जो सही नहीं है। हम पहले भी देख चुके हैं कि इफिसियों 4:11 के अनुसार कलीसिया के कार्यों के लिए उपदेश देना प्रभु द्वारा स्थापित की गई एक पृथक सेवकाई है, और सुसमाचार प्रचार करना एक भिन्न सेवकाई है। साथ ही, 1 कुरिन्थियों 12:9 के अनुसार चंगा करना परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा का एक वरदान है, जो अन्य वरदानों के समान पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा, उसकी इच्छा के अनुसार, किसी किसी को दिया जाता है, सभी को एक ही वरदान नहीं दिए जाते हैं। क्योंकि ये तीनों, उपदेश देना, सुसमाचार प्रचार करना, और चंगा करना अलग-अलग सेवाकाइयाँ हैं, इसलिए किसी एक पर अत्यधिक ज़ोर देना, और शेष की अनदेखी करना उचित नहीं है।

प्रभु यीशु ने जब अपने शिष्यों को उनकी पहली प्रचार सेवकाई के लिए भेजा था, तब भी उन से इन तीनों कार्यों को करने के लिए कहा था: फिर उसने अपने बारह चेलों को पास बुलाकर, उन्हें अशुद्ध आत्माओं पर अधिकार दिया, कि उन्हें निकालें और सब प्रकार की बीमारियों और सब प्रकार की दुर्बलताओं को दूर करें। और चलते चलते प्रचार कर कहो कि स्वर्ग का राज्य निकट आ गया है। बीमारों को चंगा करो: मरे हुओं को जिलाओ: कोढिय़ों को शुद्ध करो: दुष्टात्माओं को निकालो: तुम ने सेंतमेंत पाया है, सेंतमेंत दो (मत्ती 10:1,7-8)। और अपनी अंतिम महान आज्ञा में भी इन तीनों कार्यों को करने के लिए ही कहा, इसलिये तुम जा कर सब जातियों के लोगों को चेला बनाओ और उन्हें पिता और पुत्र और पवित्रआत्मा के नाम से बपतिस्मा दो। और उन्हें सब बातें जो मैं ने तुम्हें आज्ञा दी है, मानना सिखाओ: और देखो, मैं जगत के अन्‍त तक सदैव तुम्हारे संग हूं। (मत्ती 28:19-20); और उसने उन से कहा, तुम सारे जगत में जा कर सारी सृष्‍टि के लोगों को सुसमाचार प्रचार करो। जो विश्वास करे और बपतिस्मा ले उसी का उद्धार होगा, परन्तु जो विश्वास न करेगा वह दोषी ठहराया जाएगा। और विश्वास करने वालों में ये चिन्ह होंगे कि वे मेरे नाम से दुष्टात्माओं को निकालेंगे। नई नई भाषा बोलेंगे, सांपों को उठा लेंगे, और यदि वे नाशक वस्तु भी पी जाएं तौभी उन की कुछ हानि न होगी, वे बीमारों पर हाथ रखेंगे, और वे चंगे हो जाएंगे (मरकुस 16:15-18)। और फिर प्रेरितों के कार्य में भी, जो पहली कलीसिया के आरंभ और कार्यों का इतिहास है, हम प्रभु के शिष्यों और प्रेरितों को यही तीनों कार्य करते हुए देखते हैं।

आज की परेशानी यह है कि कुछ लोग केवल चंगाइयों पर ही इतना ज़ोर देते हैं कि वही उनके प्रचार और सेवकाई का मुख्य विषय रहता है। इसके अतिरिक्त वे लोगों द्वारा पापों से क्षमा और उद्धार पाने की अनिवार्यता, तथा परमेश्वर के वचन की समझ और जीवनों में उसके व्यवहारिक प्रयोग के बारे में या तो सिखाते ही नहीं है, या फिर उस पर बहुत कम बल देते हैं। ये लोग इस बात की अनदेखी कर देते हैं कि शारीरिक चंगाई से कहीं अधिक महत्वपूर्ण आत्मिक चंगाई है, क्योंकि हर चंगाई पाने के बाद भी शरीर ने अन्ततः मर ही जाना है, नाश होना ही है; किन्तु यदि आत्मा को पाप और उसके दुष्प्रभावों से चंगाई नहीं मिली, तो आत्मा नरक में जाएगी, और सारी शारीरिक चंगाई किसी काम की नहीं रहेगी। इसलिए प्राथमिकता पाप और उसके दुष्प्रभावों से आत्मिक चंगाई की या उद्धार पाने की है, शारीरिक चंगाई उसके बाद है, और इस क्रम को बनाए रखना है। इन तीनों सेवकाइयों में वचन की शिक्षा या उपदेश, सुसमाचार प्रचार, और चंगाई में परस्पर सही संतुलन, सही दृष्टिकोण, और उचित प्राथमिकता को बनाए रखना है।

हम इस विषय पर अगले लेख में चर्चा ज़ारी रखेंगे, और ऊपर कही गई दूसरी बात के बारे में देखेंगे।

Wrong Teachings Related to the Gospel - Introduction (1)

Today we will start looking into the third topic of wrong teachings by Satan, given in 2 Corinthians 11:4 - the wrong teachings related to the Gospel. First, we will consider an introduction to the Gospel; then we will see and understand what the Gospel is. Because, unless we have the “correct” and “factual” knowledge about something, we will not be able to recognize the “wrong” and “duplicate” or false things being spread about it. After that we will see how Satan spoils, corrupts, and renders the Gospel ineffective, and finally we will see from God’s Word how to discern between the correct and wrong gospels, how to differentiate between them.

Introduction to the Gospel

The literal meaning of the word ‘gospel’ is “a good news’ or, a good information, as is the meaning of the word used in the original Greek language. The implication is that the Gospel takes the good news to the people; now it is the decision of the hearer of the ‘good news’ to accept or to reject it. This raises the question, what is this news or information about; and why is it called ‘good’? The first use of the word Gospel tells us about this: And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23). This has been stated for the beginning of the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. So, the Lord Jesus began His earthly ministry by doing three things – teaching, preaching the gospel of the kingdom in the gatherings of the people, and healing the sicknesses and diseases of the people. 

Here, there are two important things to note about what the Lord did:

(1) The first thing, as this verse shows us, the Lord did three things - He taught about the kingdom of God, He preached the Gospel, and He healed the people of their sicknesses and diseases. This shows that there is a difference between teaching God’s Word, in preaching the gospel, and in healing people of their diseases; they are not all one and the same; and the Lord Jesus since the beginning did these three things, as components of His ministry. Today, there is this wrong concept amongst people that doing either of the three is the same as doing the other two as well, which is incorrect. We have seen this earlier as well, that according to Ephesians 4:11, teaching as a responsibility in the Church is a different ministry, and preaching the Gospel is a different ministry. Also, according to 1 Corinthians 12:9, healing people is a gift of the Holy Spirit, which, like the other gifts of the Spirit, is given to individuals at the discretion of the Holy Spirit, not everyone is given the same gift. Since these three, teaching, preaching the Gospel, and healing are different ministries, therefore to give more importance to any one of them and overlook the others is not right.

When the Lord Jesus sent out His twelve disciples on their first ministry assignment, then too He asked them to do all of these three things: And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give (Matthew 10:1, 7-8). And, even in His final instructions, His Great Commission to the disciples before His ascension, He instructed to do the same three things, Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen” (Matthew 28:19-20); And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:15-18). Then, in the Book of Acts, which is the history of the beginning and works of the first Church, we see the disciples of the Lord doing these three things.

Today, the problem is that people place so much emphasis on “healings” that it becomes the only topic of their teaching, preaching, and ministry. Other than this one thing, they either do not teach the people about the necessity of forgiveness of sins and salvation, about the understanding of the Word of God and its application in practical day-to-day Christian living; or place very little emphasis upon doing this. These people ignore the important fact that spiritual healing is much more important than physical healing; because after any physically healing, eventually, the physical body will die some day and be destroyed; and if the soul has not been healed of sin and its deleterious effects, then it will go into hell for eternity, and that physical healing would be of no benefit for that person. Therefore, the primary importance is of spiritual healing from sin, physical healing is of secondary importance; and this order has to be maintained. Amongst these three ministries of teaching God’s Word, preaching the Gospel, and healing people, a proper mutual balance, correct perspective, and proper priorities must be maintained.

You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाएँ - पुनःअवलोकन 

    हमने पिछले लेखों में देखा है कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त बातें भी डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है।

    पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा है, जो संक्षिप्त में निम्नलिखित थीं: 

    * प्रत्येक सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी के नया जन्म या उद्धार पाते ही, तुरंत उसके उद्धार पाने के पल से ही, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संपूर्णता में आकर उसके अंदर निवास करने लगता है, और उसी में बना रहता है, उसे कभी छोड़ कर नहीं जाता है; 

    * और बाइबल के अनुसार, इसी को पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा पाना भी कहते हैं। 

    * वचन स्पष्ट है कि पवित्र आत्मा से भरना या उससे बपतिस्मा पाना कोई दूसरा या अतिरिक्त अनुभव नहीं है, वरन उद्धार के साथ ही सच्चे मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा का आकर निवास करना ही है। 

    * प्रेरितों 2 अध्याय में जो अन्य भाषाएं बोली गईं, वे पृथ्वी ही की भाषाएं और उन भाषाओं के कुछ भिन्न स्वरूप, अर्थात बोलियाँ थीं; कोई अलौकिक भाषा नहीं।

    * उन लोगों के द्वारा “अन्य-भाषाओं” को अलौकिक भाषाएं बताना, और परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग के द्वारा इससे संबंधित कई और गलत शिक्षाओं को सिखाने के बारे में भी हम देख चुके हैं कि यह भी एक ऐसी गलत शिक्षा है जिसका वचन से कोई समर्थन या आधार नहीं है। 

    * हमने यह भी देखा था कि वचन में इस शिक्षा का भी कोई आधार या समर्थन नहीं है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” प्रार्थना की भाषाएं हैं। 

    * हमने यह भी देखा था कि उन लोगों के सभी दावों के विपरीत, 

        ** न तो प्रेरितों 2:3-11 में प्रभु के शिष्यों द्वारा अन्य-भाषाओं में बोलना कोई “सुनने” का आश्चर्यकर्म था, 

        ** न ही अन्य भाषाएं प्रार्थना करने की गुप्त भाषाएँ हैं, ताकि हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ शैतानी शक्तियों से गुप्त रहें, 

        ** और न ही ये पृथ्वी के अन्य स्थानों की भाषाएं किसी को भी यूं ही दे दी जाती हैं, जब तक कि व्यक्ति की उस स्थान पर सेवकाई न हो, जहाँ की भाषा बोलने की सामर्थ्य उसे प्रदान की गई है।  

    * हमने यह भी देखा है कि “अन्य-भाषाएं” बोलना ही पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त करने का प्रमाण नहीं है; और यह कहना, परमेश्वर के वचन के दुरुपयोग पर आधारित है, झूठ है। 

    * व्यक्ति “अन्य-भाषा” बोलने के द्वारा सीधे परमेश्वर से बात करता है, इसके तथा कुछ संबंधित और बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बातों के बारे में हम देख चुके हैं कि उनका यह दावा भी वचन की कसौटी पर बिलकुल गलत है, अस्वीकार्य है।

    यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।

    यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

A Review of Wrong Teachings About the Holy Spirit

    We have seen in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

    In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, we had started to look into the wrong things often taught and preached about the Holy Spirit. Briefly stated, the Biblical teachings about the Holy Spirit, that we have seen are:

    * Every truly Born-Again Christian Believer automatically receives the Holy Spirit from God, at the very moment of his being saved. From that moment onwards, the Holy Spirit comes to reside in him in all His fullness, stays with him forever, never leaves him.

    * Biblically this is also known as being filled by the Holy Spirit or, the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. 

    * God’s Word is very clear that being filled with the Holy Spirit is not ‘another’ or a ‘second experience’; rather it is the same as the Holy Spirit coming to reside in a Christian Believer on being saved.

    * The speaking in “tongues” in Acts 2 were the known and understood languages and their dialects, of the earth; and not any super-natural languages.

    * Their claim that the “tongues’ are super-natural languages, and some other related wrong teachings also have no support or affirmation from the Bible.  

    * We have also seen that quite unlike their claims, “tongues” are not a “prayer language” for effective prayers.

    * We also saw that, contrary to their emphatic claims,

        ** The speaking in “tongues” by the Lord’s disciples, given in Acts 2:3-11, was not a miracle of “hearing”,

           ** Nor are “tongues” a so-called ‘secret language’ to keep our prayers safe from satanic forces,

        ** Nor are they unknown languages of some other regions of the earth, granted to the Believer; unless the Believer has a ministry in that region.

    * Speaking in “tongues” is not a proof of receiving the Holy Spirit - the Bible does not offer any affirmation or support to this; and making this absolutely false claim is based on misinterpreting and misusing God's Word. 

    * We have also seen that the assertion and its related claims are also patently false and unBiblical, that by speaking in “tongues” a person starts communicating with God directly. 

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." हम पिछले कुछ लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि पवित्र आत्मा से सम्बन्धित गलत शिक्षा फैलाने  वाले लोग, उनके द्वारा वचन की गलत व्याख्या और तोड़-मरोड़ कर प्रस्तुत करने के आधार पर दी गई शिक्षाओं के बचाव के लिए भय को एक हथियार बनाकर प्रयोग करते हैं। इन लोगों की एक और प्रमुख शिक्षा, जिसे वे अपने बचाव के लिए प्रयोग करते हैं, है “पवित्र आत्मा की निन्दा कभी क्षमा न होने वाला पाप है।” यदि कोई इनसे स्पष्टीकरण माँगता है, या उनकी शिक्षाओं को जाँचना परखना चाहता है, तो ये इसे पवित्र आत्मा की निन्दा, जो कभी क्षमा नहीं की जाएगी बताकर, उसे डराकर, रोक देते हैं। यह समझने के लिए कि यह “निरादर” या “निन्दा” वास्तव में है क्या, और यह क्यों केवल परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ही के विरुद्ध ही क्षमा नहीं हो सकता है, परमेश्वर पिता और परमेश्वर पुत्र के विरुद्ध ऐसा क्यों नहीं है। इसके लिए हमने पिछले लेखों में परमेश्वर के वचन में से कुछ तथ्यों एवं शिक्षाओं को देखना आरंभ किया है, और पहले त्रिएक परमेश्वर के तीनों स्वरूपों, पिता, पुत्र और पवित्र आत्मा के बारे में अपने इस विषय के संदर्भ से देखा है। फिर हमने देखा कि लूसिफर का पाप क्यों क्षमा नहीं हो सकता था; और यह भी समझा था कि वचन के अनुसार निन्दा (blasphemy) शब्द का वास्तव में क्या अर्थ और अभिप्राय होता है, और वचन के संदर्भ एवं प्रयोग के अनुसार क्यों जन-साधारण का हर संदेह, अविश्वास, अभद्र भाषा का प्रयोग, आदि, पवित्र आत्मा की निन्दा की श्रेणी में नहीं आता है; प्रभु यीशु द्वारा यह बात केवल धार्मिक अगुवों ही के लिए क्यों कही गई। आज हम देखेंगे कि क्यों प्रभु यीशु ने यह बात कि “पवित्र आत्मा की निन्दा कभी क्षमा न होने वाला पाप है” केवल वचन के ज्ञानियों और शिक्षकों, फरीसियों के लिए ही क्यों कही है (मरकुस 3:28-30 और लूका 12:10)। यह समझने के लिए कि किस प्रकार से फरीसियों के लिए प्रभु यीशु का निरादर करना क्षमा न हो सकने वाले पाप ठहरा, इस संदर्भ में वचन के कुछ हवालों को देखिए:     * यूहन्ना 3:1-3 को देखिए: फरीसियों में से नीकुदेमुस नाम एक मनुष्य था, जो यहूदियों का सरदार था। उसने रात को यीशु के पास आकर उस से कहा, हे रब्बी, हम जानते हैं, कि तू परमेश्वर की ओर से गुरु हो कर आया है; क्योंकि कोई इन चिन्हों को जो तू दिखाता है, यदि परमेश्वर उसके साथ न हो, तो नहीं दिखा सकता। यीशु ने उसको उत्तर दिया; कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं, यदि कोई नये सिरे से न जन्मे तो परमेश्वर का राज्य देख नहीं सकता। यहाँ, यह बिलकुल स्पष्ट है कि निकुदेमुस ने प्रभु से जो कहा - “हम जानते हैं”, उसके अनुसार न केवल वह स्वयं, वरन फरीसी समाज के सभी लोग भली-भांति जानते थे कि प्रभु यीशु, परमेश्वर की ओर से गुरु होकर आए हैं। तथा सभी फरीसी यह भी समझते थे कि प्रभु यीशु के कार्य यह प्रमाणित करते थे कि परमेश्वर उनके साथ है, और उन में होकर काम कर रहा है।     * धर्म के ये अगुवे प्रभु यीशु के, उस के सेवकाई से पहले के जीवन के बारे में, न तो अनजान थे और न किसी संदेह में थे; वरन, वे उसके विषय सब बातों के बारे में अच्छे से जानते थे! इसीलिए जब प्रभु यीशु ने उन्हें चुनौती दी कि तुम में से कौन मुझे पापी ठहराता है? और यदि मैं सच बोलता हूं, तो तुम मेरी प्रतीति क्यों नहीं करते? (यूहन्ना 8:46), तो उनमें से कोई भी प्रभु के जीवन में कोई पाप या बुराई को नहीं बता सका, कोई भी प्रभु को किसी भी बात में दोषी नहीं ठहरा सका।     * इसी प्रकार से जब तब फरीसियों ने जा कर आपस में विचार किया, कि उसको किस प्रकार बातों में फंसाएं। सो उन्होंने अपने चेलों को हेरोदियों के साथ उसके पास यह कहने को भेजा, कि हे गुरु; हम जानते हैं, कि तू सच्चा है; और परमेश्वर का मार्ग सच्चाई से सिखाता है; और किसी की परवाह नहीं करता, क्योंकि तू मनुष्यों का मुंह देखकर बातें नहीं करता (मत्ती 22:15-16) तब भी उन्होंने उसे “हे गुरु” कहकर संबोधित किया, तथा इस तथ्य का अंगीकार किया कि प्रभु यीशु सच्चा है, परमेश्वर का मार्ग सच्चाई से सिखाता है, और निष्पक्ष, निष्कपट व्यवहार करता है।     * जब प्रभु यीशु मसीह को पकड़वाने वाले उनके शिष्य यहूदा इस्करियोती ने अपने किए पर दुख जताया और उन धर्म के अगुवों के पास आकर कहा, जब उसके पकड़वाने वाले यहूदा ने देखा कि वह दोषी ठहराया गया है तो वह पछताया और वे तीस चान्‍दी के सिक्के महायाजकों और पुरनियों के पास फेर लाया। और कहा, मैं ने निर्दोष को घात के लिये पकड़वाकर पाप किया है? उन्होंने कहा, हमें क्या? तू ही जान (मत्ती 27:3-4), तब भी, यद्यपि उन्होंने यहूदा की बात को अनसुनी कर दिया, किन्तु उन्होंने प्रभु यीशु के निर्दोष होने की उसकी बात को अस्वीकार नहीं किया, उसके विषय कोई तर्क नहीं किया; अर्थात, परोक्ष रूप में प्रभु के निर्दोष होने को स्वीकार कर लिया।     * और न ही प्रभु ने अपने बारे में उन्हें किसी संदेह में छोड़ा था; अनेकों अवसरों पर, यहाँ तक कि उस समय तक भी जब उन्हें झूठे मुकद्दमों में दोषी ठहराने के प्रयास किए जा रहे थे, प्रभु ने यह बारंबार स्पष्ट बता दिया था कि वह कौन है (यूहन्ना 5:17-43; 8:25; 10:24; 14:11; लूका 22:67-70)। परन्तु प्रभु यीशु के वास्तविकता को भली-भांति जानते हुए भी उन्होंने कभी भी प्रभु पर विश्वास नहीं किया (यूहन्ना 12:37)। उलटे, उनके बारे में यह सब सत्य जानते हुए भी, बुरे उद्देश्यों एवं स्वार्थी भावनाओं के अंतर्गत, उन्होंने प्रभु को मार डालने का षड्यंत्र रचा (यूहन्ना 11:47-50)।     दूसरे शब्दों में, यद्यपि यहूदियों के धार्मिक अगुवे यह भली-भांति जानते थे कि प्रभु यीशु वास्तव में कौन हैं, और यह भी कि परमेश्वर उनके साथ है, तथा उन में होकर कार्य कर रहा है। फिर भी जानबूझकर, स्वार्थी लाभ के लिए, उन्होंने प्रभु को नज़रन्दाज़ किया, उन पर अविश्वास किया, और सबसे बुरा यह कि जानबूझकर उनके बारे में लोगों का गलत मार्गदर्शन किया। उन्होंने सभी के समक्ष प्रभु के कार्यों और शिक्षाओं में होकर दिखाए जा रहे परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य को शैतानों के सरदार की सामर्थ्य कहने के द्वारा न केवल प्रभु और परमेश्वर के विषय झूठ बोला, वरन प्रभु में होकर कार्य करने वाली पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य को शैतानी शक्ति बताया। अब पहले लेख में हमने जो “निन्दा” (blasphemy) शब्द का वचन के अनुसार वास्तविक अर्थ को और उसके अभिप्रायों के बारे में सीखा था, उसे स्मरण कीजिए या फिर से देख लीजिए। उन फरीसियों तथा धर्म के अगुवों की यह, प्रभु के विरोध में, और स्वार्थ के अंतर्गत जानबूझकर कही गई बात; प्रभु के बारे में जानकारी रखते हुए भी और यह जानते हुए भी कि प्रभु पर उनके द्वारा लगाए जाने वाले आरोप झूठे हैं, फिर भी झूठ बोलकर प्रभु का निरादर करना, उन्हें अपमानित करना, और उनमें होकर कार्य करने वाली पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य को शैतानी सामर्थ्य कहना, केवल इसे ही प्रभु ने पवित्र आत्मा के विरुद्ध किया गया कभी क्षमा न हो सकने वाला पाप कहा है; अन्य किसी बात को नहीं।     इसलिए, पवित्र आत्मा के विरुद्ध कभी क्षमा न हो सकने वाले पाप वह नहीं हैं जो बहुधा वर्तमान के अनेकों धार्मिक अगुवों के द्वारा कहे और बताए जाते हैं; और जो वचन, विशेषकर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं को देने वाले बताते और फैलाते हैं। बाइबल में यह वाक्यांश एक बहुत ही विशिष्ट अपराध के लिए प्रयोग किया गया है, और केवल उस अपराध को ही यह कहा जाना चाहिए। अपनी गलत शिक्षाओं के विषय प्रश्नों से बचने के लिए लोगों को “पवित्र आत्मा की निन्दा” का भय दिखाना या कहना झूठ है, अनुचित है, वचन का दुरुपयोग है।     यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।     यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? Understanding The Sin of Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit (Part-5)

    

    We have been seeing for the past few articles that to cover up their concocted notions made up through misuse and misinterpretation of Biblical facts, and to prevent people from analyzing their claims and raising questions, they use fear as a tactic. If anyone tries to examine their false notions, they discourage him from doing so by telling them that they are committing the unpardonable sin of the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and should back-off, stop doing this, simply accept what has been said, else they will face very serious consequences from God. In the previous articles we have been looking into the veracity of these claims made by them, and had considered in context of the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, the Triune God, why blasphemy could be considered as unpardonable only against the Holy Spirit, and not against God the Father and the Lord Jesus. We then saw why Lucifer’s sin was unforgivable, and also understood from God’s Word what the word “blasphemy” means. We saw from God’s Word that what the Lord Jesus said was specifically directed against the religious leaders; but every doubt, unbelief, use of inappropriate language, etc. against God by the general public did not constitute the unpardonable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Today we will see what “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” implies in context of the Lord Jesus saying this (Mark 3:28-30 and Luke 12:10); the statement that these people misinterpret and misuse to safeguard themselves.

    To understand why the Lord said to the Pharisees that their dishonoring Him constituted the unpardonable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, let us look at some related passages from the Bible:

    * Consider John 3:1-3: There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him." Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." It is very evident from the use of “we know that” by Nicodemus that not just he but the sect of Pharisees, amongst whom he was a ‘ruler’, knew very well that Lord Jesus has come as a ‘Rabbi’, a teacher, from God. They also knew that Jesus’s works proved that God was with Him, and worked through Him.

    * These religious leaders were neither unaware of, nor were in any doubts about the Lord Jesus, His life, and His ministry; they knew and understood it all very well. Therefore, when the Lord Jesus challenged them, Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? (John 8:46), no one could point out any fault or sin in Him, could not show Him to be guilty of anything wrong, in any way.

    * Similarly, on another occasion Then the Pharisees went and plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk. And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men (Matthew 22:15-16), then too they addressed Him as ‘Teacher’, and acknowledged the fact that Lord Jesus was true, taught the way of God in truth, was impartial and without any deceit.

    * When Judas Iscariot was remorseful about what he had done in betraying the Lord Jesus and getting Him arrested, he went to these religious leaders and said, Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? You see to it!" (Matthew 27:3-4), then too, although they did not pay heed to the plea of Judas, but neither did they dispute his calling Jesus innocent, raised no argument to counter his claim. In other words, they indirectly agreed that Lord Jesus was innocent.

    * Neither did the Lord Jesus ever leave them in any doubt about Himself; on multiple occasions, even when after arresting Him they were trying to frame Him up in “mock courts”, the Lord made clear who He was to them (John 5:17-43; 8:25; 10:24; 14:11; Luke 22:67-70). But despite knowing the truth about the Lord Jesus, they never believed on Him (John 12:37). Instead, although they knew the truth about Him, they conspired to have Him killed for selfish and foul reasons (John 11:47-50).

    In other words, although the Jewish religious leaders well knew who Lord Jesus actually is, and that God was with Him, works through Him, even then for selfish reasons and with bad motives they kept ignoring Him, did not believe in Him, and worst of all, they deliberately misguided the people about Him. By publicly calling the works and teachings of the Lord Jesus, that were being done and demonstrated openly through the power of the Holy Spirit amongst the people as things being done by the power of the ‘prince of the devils’, not only did they speak a lie against the Lord and God, but also called the power of the Holy Spirit working through the Lord as satanic. Now, recall and review the definition, understanding, and various implications of the word ‘blasphemy’ which we have seen in the earlier article. This thing that these religious leaders intentionally did against the Lord Jesus, for selfish reasons and with bad motives, despite well knowing everything about the Lord Jesus, and being fully aware that their accusations against Him were false; and yet speaking lies against Him, maligning Him, dishonoring Him, and calling the power working in and through Him as satanic - this and only this is what the Lord Jesus called the unpardonable sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, not anything else!

    Therefore, the unpardonable sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is not what is commonly preached, taught, and misused to escape being answerable today, especially by those who preach and teach wrong things about the Holy Spirit. This phrase has been used in the Bible with a very specific meaning, against a very specific sin; and that is what it should always be used for, nothing else. To use it to instill fear among people to avoid being called to explain or answer for their wrong teachings, is wrong, is a misuse of God’s Word, is speaking lies.

    If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

    If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
