बाइबल के आरंभ से लेकर अंत तक, उसकी विषय-वस्तु और अंतर्वस्तु प्रभु यीशु मसीह, और केवल उन ही के द्वारा प्रदान की जा सकने वाले पापों से मुक्ति और उद्धार ही हैं, “और किसी दूसरे के द्वारा उद्धार नहीं; क्योंकि स्वर्ग के नीचे मनुष्यों में और कोई दूसरा नाम नहीं दिया गया, जिस के द्वारा हम उद्धार पा सकें” (प्रेरितों 4:12)। यह विषय-वस्तु, अर्थात, प्रभु यीशु, उनका जीवन, उनके गुण और चरित्र, उनके कार्य और सेवकाई, उनसे मिलने वाला उद्धार आदि, सभी को प्रभु यीशु मसीह के पृथ्वी पर जन्म लेने से सदियों पूर्व बाइबल के पुराने नियम खंड में विभिन्न प्रकार से बताया, सिखाया, और उदहारणों द्वारा दर्ज किया गया है; विभिन्न शिक्षाओं, नियमों, घटनाओं, व्यवहारों, कुछ ऐतिहासिक लोगों के जीवनों और उनके लेखों, तथा अनेकों परिस्थितियों में मनुष्यों के साथ परमेश्वर के व्यवहार, इत्यादि के द्वारा। इस बात को स्वयं प्रभु यीशु मसीह और बाइबल के अन्य लेखकों ने कहा है, और बारंबार इसकी पुष्टि की है, जैसा कि बाइबल के कुछ निम्नलिखित संबंधित हवालों से प्रकट है:

यूहन्ना 5:39 तुम पवित्र शास्त्र में ढूंढ़ते हो, क्योंकि समझते हो कि उस में अनन्त जीवन तुम्हें मिलता है, और यह वही है, जो मेरी गवाही देता है।

1 कुरिन्थियों 15:1-4 हे भाइयों, मैं तुम्हें वही सुसमाचार बताता हूं जो पहिले सुना चुका हूं, जिसे तुम ने अंगीकार भी किया था और जिस में तुम स्थिर भी हो। उसी के द्वारा तुम्हारा उद्धार भी होता है, यदि उस सुसमाचार को जो मैं ने तुम्हें सुनाया था स्मरण रखते हो; नहीं तो तुम्हारा विश्वास करना व्यर्थ हुआ। इसी कारण मैं ने सब से पहिले तुम्हें वही बात पहुंचा दी, जो मुझे पहुंची थी, कि पवित्र शास्त्र के वचन के अनुसार यीशु मसीह हमारे पापों के लिये मर गया। और गाड़ा गया; और पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार तीसरे दिन जी भी उठा।

इब्रानियों 10:7 तब मैं ने कहा, देख, मैं आ गया हूं, (पवित्र शास्त्र में मेरे विषय में लिखा हुआ है) ताकि हे परमेश्वर तेरी इच्छा पूरी करूं।

बाइबल का नया नियम खण्ड चार वृतांतों के साथ आरंभ होता है, जो प्रभु यीशु मसीह के पृथ्वी के जीवन, तथा उन के द्वारा सम्पूर्ण मानव जाति, समस्त संसार के सभी लोगों के लिए उद्धार का मार्ग बनाने और उपलब्ध करवाने के बारे में हैं। यह उद्धार जो उन्होंने सभी के लिए मुफ्त में उपलब्ध करवाया है, उसे अब प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अपने जीवन के लिए स्वेच्छा से अपनाना तथा कार्यान्वित करना है, बिना कोई भी कीमत चुकाए, बिना किन्ही कर्मों या अनुष्ठानों के: “और उसने तुम्हें भी जिलाया, जो अपने अपराधों और पापों के कारण मरे हुए थे। जिन में तुम पहिले इस संसार की रीति पर, और आकाश के अधिकार के हाकिम अर्थात उस आत्मा के अनुसार चलते थे, जो अब भी आज्ञा न मानने वालों में कार्य करता है। इन में हम भी सब के सब पहिले अपने शरीर की लालसाओं में दिन बिताते थे, और शरीर, और मन की मनसाएं पूरी करते थे, और और लोगों के समान स्‍वभाव ही से क्रोध की सन्तान थे। परन्तु परमेश्वर ने जो दया का धनी है; अपने उस बड़े प्रेम के कारण, जिस से उसने हम से प्रेम किया। जब हम अपराधों के कारण मरे हुए थे, तो हमें मसीह के साथ जिलाया; (अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है।) और मसीह यीशु में उसके साथ उठाया, और स्‍वर्गीय स्थानों में उसके साथ बैठाया कि वह अपनी उस कृपा से जो मसीह यीशु में हम पर है, आने वाले समयों में अपने अनुग्रह का असीम धन दिखाए। क्योंकि विश्वास के द्वारा अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है, और यह तुम्हारी ओर से नहीं, वरन परमेश्वर का दान है। और न कर्मों के कारण, ऐसा न हो कि कोई घमण्‍ड करे” (इफिसियों 2:1-9)। और प्रभु यीशु द्वारा इस प्रकार से उपलब्ध करवाई गई पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा उस व्यक्ति का परमेश्वर के साथ मेल होता है: “कि यदि तू अपने मुंह से यीशु को प्रभु जानकर अंगीकार करे और अपने मन से विश्वास करे, कि परमेश्वर ने उसे मरे हुओं में से जिलाया, तो तू निश्चय उद्धार पाएगा। क्योंकि धामिर्कता के लिये मन से विश्वास किया जाता है, और उद्धार के लिये मुंह से अंगीकार किया जाता है। क्योंकि पवित्र शास्त्र यह कहता है कि जो कोई उस पर विश्वास करेगा, वह लज्जित न होगा।”; “क्योंकि बैरी होने की दशा में तो उसके पुत्र की मृत्यु के द्वारा हमारा मेल परमेश्वर के साथ हुआ फिर मेल हो जाने पर उसके जीवन के कारण हम उद्धार क्यों न पाएंगे?” (रोमियों 10:9-11; रोमियों 5:10)। 

नया नियम, प्रभु यीशु मसीह के जीवन के बारे में लिखे गए लेखों के बाद फिर आगे, प्रभु यीशु के कुछ अनुयायियों द्वारा लिखे गए अन्य लेखों के माध्यम से प्रभु यीशु मसीह के शिष्यों – जो कि सामूहिक रूप में प्रभु का चर्च, उसके बुलाए हुए कहलाते हैं, की आरंभिक गतिविधियों के इतिहास, घटनाओं, वृद्धि, कार्यों, और दायित्वों का वर्णन प्रदान करता है। और अंत में बाइबल तथा नए नियम का समापन होता है प्रकाशितवाक्य की पुस्तक के साथ – जो संसार के अंत समय की भविष्यवाणियों का लेख है, उन अंत के दिनों का जिन में आज हम जी रहे हैं, जैसा कि हमारी आँखों के सामने पूरी हो रही विभिन्न अंत-समय की भविष्यवाणियों से प्रगट है (इनका एक विवरण मत्ती के 24 अध्याय में पढ़िए)। प्रकाशितवाक्य की पुस्तक में विस्तृत वर्णन है सारे संसार और उसमें जन्म लेने वाले प्रत्येक मनुष्य के होने वाले अवश्यंभावी न्याय का, और उसके बाद के अनन्त जीवन का – वह चाहे स्वर्ग में परमेश्वर के साथ हो, या बिना परमेश्वर के नरक में हो – यह प्रत्येक मनुष्य द्वारा इस पृथ्वी पर अपने लिए किए गए उस चुनाव के अनुसार होगा, जो निर्णय उन्होंने प्रभु यीशु मसीह और उसके द्वारा प्रदान किए जा रहे उद्धार की जानकारी मिलने पर लिया था, और जिसके साथ उन्होंने पृथ्वी का अपना सम्पूर्ण जीवन व्यतीत किया था, अपने इस निर्णय को सुधारने के सभी अवसरों के प्रदान किए जाने के बावजूद: “फिर मैं ने एक बड़ा श्वेत सिंहासन और उसको जो उस पर बैठा हुआ है, देखा, जिस के साम्हने से पृथ्वी और आकाश भाग गए, और उन के लिये जगह न मिली। फिर मैं ने छोटे बड़े सब मरे हुओं को सिंहासन के साम्हने खड़े हुए देखा, और पुस्‍तकें खोली गई; और फिर एक और पुस्‍तक खोली गई; और फिर एक और पुस्‍तक खोली गई, अर्थात जीवन की पुस्‍तक; और जैसे उन पुस्‍तकों में लिखा हुआ था, उन के कामों के अनुसार मरे हुओं का न्याय किया गया। और समुद्र ने उन मरे हुओं को जो उस में थे दे दिया, और मृत्यु और अधोलोक ने उन मरे हुओं को जो उन में थे दे दिया; और उन में से हर एक के कामों के अनुसार उन का न्याय किया गया। और मृत्यु और अधोलोक भी आग की झील में डाले गए; यह आग की झील तो दूसरी मृत्यु है। और जिस किसी का नाम जीवन की पुस्‍तक में लिखा हुआ न मिला, वह आग की झील में डाला गया” (प्रकाशितवाक्य 20:11-15).

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

English Translation

The Bible, in Comparison to the Religious Writings of Other Ancient Civilizations & Cultures - Part - 2

The theme and content of the Bible, from the beginning to the end is the Lord Jesus Christ, and the deliverance from sins and the salvation that only He provides, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). This theme, i.e. the Lord Jesus, His life, His character and characteristics, His works and ministry, His salvation etc. are all indicated, taught, and exemplified through the various teachings, laws, events, happenings, lives and writings of certain historical people, God’s dealings with men in various circumstances, etc.  and have been recorded centuries before the birth of the Lord Jesus on earth in the Old Testament section of the Bible. The Lord Jesus Himself and other writers of The Bible testified of this repeatedly, as is apparent from some related references from the Bible, given below:

John 5:39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

John 5:46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.

John 12:41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

Hebrews 10:7 Then I said, 'Behold, I have come-- In the volume of the book it is written of Me-- To do Your will, O God.'

The New Testament section of the Bible begins with four accounts of the earthly life of the Lord Jesus, and how He prepared and provided the way of salvation for the entire mankind, for the whole world. This salvation that He has made freely available is to be accepted voluntarily and made applicable in their lives personally by everyone, free of any cost, without any works or rituals: “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:1-9), and thereby the person is reconciled with God through the forgiveness of sins made available by the Lord Jesus: “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." ”; “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Romans 10:9-11; Romans 5:10). 

The New Testament, after the biographical records of the Lord Jesus then goes on to provide the history, events, growth, practices and responsibilities of the disciples of the Lord Jesus, that collectively form His Church – the group of the called out ones, through the writings of some of the disciples of the Lord Jesus. And finally the Bible and New Testament culminate with the Book of Revelation – which is a prophetically given record, of the end of the world, of the end times – the times we are presently living in, as is evident from the various end-times prophecies being fulfilled before our eyes (Read an account in Matthew chpt. 24). The book of Revelation details the coming inevitable judgment of the whole world and of every person ever to inhabit it, and the eternal life to follow – with God in heaven, or without God in hell – as per the choice every person made while living on the earth, the decision they made when brought to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus and the salvation He freely offers to all, and lived with for their entire life on earth, despite all opportunities provided to them to correct their decision: “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:11-15).

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

कभी-कभी कुछ लोग यह बात उठाते हैं कि संसार की अन्य प्राचीन सभ्यताओं और संस्कृतियों की पुस्तकों में कुछ विषयों, जैसे कि अंतरिक्ष, ज्योतिष, स्वास्थ्य तथा चिकित्सा विज्ञान, आध्यात्मिक और अलौकिक बातों, इत्यादि के बारे में बहुत ज्ञान मिलता है; तो उस ज्ञान की तुलना में बाइबल की क्या स्थिति है? बाइबल अन्य लोगों, सभ्यताओं, और संस्कृतियों के प्राचीन लेखों में उल्लेखित इन उपरोक्त विषयों के संबंध में पूर्णतः मूक भी नहीं है, वरन उनके विषय परमेश्वर के दृष्टिकोण को बताती है। बाइबल में सूर्य, चन्द्रमा, नक्षत्रों और सितारों का उनके परमेश्वर द्वारा नियत उद्देश्यों और परमेश्वर की महिमा प्रगट करने के सन्दर्भ में (उत्पत्ति 1:14-18; अय्यूब 9:9; अय्यूब 38:31; भजन 19:1-2; भजन 104:19), और सितारों के द्वारा मार्गदर्शन (मत्ती 2:2) उल्लेख है, परन्तु बाइबल बिलकुल स्पष्ट रीति से इन आकाशीय वस्तुओं को कोई ईश्वरत्व प्रदान करने और इनकी उपासना करने का निषेध करती है (व्यवस्थाविवरण 4:19; 2राजाओं 23:4-5)। बाइबल स्वास्थ्य एवं सुरक्षा के लिए बचाव की विधियाँ और पृथक किए जाने के बाए में बताती है (लैव्यव्यवस्था 7:19; लैव्यव्यवस्था 11:24-39; लैव्यव्यवस्था 13; गिनती 19:11-16); और टोन्हों, महूर्तों, भूत-सिद्धि, तांत्रिकों आदि में जुड़ने के लिए मना करती है (लैव्यव्यवस्था 19:26, 31; व्यवस्थाविवरण 18:10-12)। परन्तु क्योंकि बाइबल इन बातों तथा ऐसी ही अन्य बातों के संबंध में किसी विस्तृत व्याख्या, चर्चा, अथवा स्पष्टीकरण में नहीं जाती है, इसलिए इसे, उन अन्य लेखों के बाइबल से श्रेष्ठ या उच्च होने का कारण और प्रमाण नहीं मान लेना चाहिए।

ऐसा इसलिए, क्योंकि बाइबल की विषय-वस्तु बिलकुल भिन्न तथा अनुपम है – उसे कभी भी नश्वर जगत, जिसका एक दिन नाश होकर अन्त जाएगा, से संबंधित ज्ञान की पुस्तक नहीं रखा गया। वरन, बाइबल, प्रभु यीशु मसीह में लाए गए विश्वास के द्वारा मनुष्य जाति के परमेश्वर से मेल कराए जाने के विषय में है, क्योंकि मानव जाति, अपने पाप के कारण परमेश्वर से पृथक हो रखी है – और नश्वर जगत से संबंधित कैसा भी, कितना भी ज्ञान, किसी को भी पाप के अनंतकालीन विनाशकारी दुष्परिणामों से कभी भी नहीं बचा सकता है। ज़रा विचार कीजिए, इतनी विभिन्न प्रकार की बातों के विषय में इतना ज्ञान होते हुए भी, क्या संसार के किसी भी स्थान की वे प्राचीन सभ्यताएं और उनके ज्ञानी लोग अपने आप को या अपने समय के किसी एक भी व्यक्ति को उनके पाप और उसके दुष्परिणामों की समस्या से छुड़ा सके; पापों से बचने और उद्धार का मार्ग दे सके? कोई भी व्यक्ति पूर्व काल के या वर्तमान समय के ज्ञान में कितना भी गौरव या महिमा अनुभव कर ले, कठोर दुखदायी यथार्थ यही है कि कैसा भी नश्वर ज्ञान किसी को भी, कभी भी, पाप और उसके दुष्परिणामों की समस्या का समाधान नहीं प्रदान कर सकता है; और पाप में मरने वाले व्यक्ति का अनंतकालीन भविष्य बहुत ही अंधकारमय और दुखद है, क्योंकि उन्हें अनंतकाल के लिए नरक में रहना पड़ेगा, चाहे पृथ्वी पर उनके ज्ञान का स्तर कुछ भी क्यों न रहा हो। उन प्राचीन सभ्यातों और संस्कृतियों का सांसारिक और नाश्मान बातों का ज्ञान व्यक्ति को कभी प्रमाणित न हो सकने वाले जन्म-मरण के, तथा मरणोपरांत जीवन के काल्पनिक सिद्धांतों के चक्करों में उलझा तो सकता है, परन्तु व्यक्ति के निज पाप की समस्या के निवारण का कोई भी स्थाई, व्यवाहारिक और प्रमाणिक समाधान नहीं दे सकता है।

जैसा कि हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे, बाइबल के आरंभ से लेकर अंत तक, उसकी विषय-वस्तु और अंतर्वस्तु प्रभु यीशु मसीह, और केवल उन ही के द्वारा प्रदान की जा सकने वाले पापों से मुक्ति और उद्धार ही हैं, “और किसी दूसरे के द्वारा उद्धार नहीं; क्योंकि स्वर्ग के नीचे मनुष्यों में और कोई दूसरा नाम नहीं दिया गया, जिस के द्वारा हम उद्धार पा सकें” (प्रेरितों 4:12)।

English Translation

The Bible, in Comparison to the Religious Writings of Other Ancient Civilizations & Cultures - Part - 1

Sometimes people raise the point that the writings of the other ancient civilizations and cultures of the world have much knowledge regarding various things e.g. astronomy, astrology, health and medical sciences, supernatural and metaphysical activities etc. so how does the Bible compare to them and the knowledge found in them? The Bible is not silent about these things and does mention God’s point-of-view regarding the aforementioned things in the ancient writings of other people or cultures or civilizations of any place of the world. The Bible does mention the Sun, Moon, and stars and constellations for seasons, God’s set purposes and to declare the glory of God (Genesis 1:14-18; Job 9:9; Job 38:31; Psalms 19:1-2; Psalms 104:19), and the use of stars to navigate (Matthew 2:2);  but it expressly forbids ascribing any divinity to or worshiping of the heavenly bodies (Deuteronomy 4:19; 2 Kings 23:4-5). The Bible speaks of quarantining and preventive measures for health and safety (Leviticus 7:19; Leviticus 11:24-39; Leviticus 13; Numbers 19:11-16); and denounces the practice of witchcraft, sorcery, indulging with spirits, divination and soothsaying (Leviticus 19:26, 31; Deuteronomy 18:10-12). But just because The Bible does not go into any great details, discourses or explanations about them and other such things, therefore this should not be construed as reason and evidence of those other writings being superior to The Bible.

This is because the theme of The Bible is entirely different and unique – it never was meant to be a book of knowledge regarding the temporal universe, which will one day perish and come to an end. Rather, the Bible is about reconciling mankind with God through coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, since mankind is separated from God because of their sins – and no extent of any temporal knowledge of any kind can deliver any person from the eternal and disastrous consequences of their sins. Give it a thought, despite having all the knowledge that they had about so many different things, could any of the ancient civilizations of any place in the world and their knowledgeable people ever deliver themselves or their people from the problem of sin and its disastrous consequences; could they provide the way to be delivered form sins and of salvation? No matter how much one may pride and glory in the status of knowledge – past or present, the stark sad fact remains that no temporal knowledge of any kind can deliver any one from their sins and its consequences; and the eternal future of any one dying in sin is very bleak, since they are destined to be in hell for all eternity, no matter what the state of their knowledge on earth may be. The knowledge of those ancient civilizations and cultures about temporal and worldly things can confuse a person through imaginary doctrines related to life, after-life, and death, but can never provide any lasting, practical, and provable solution to the problem of personal sin of a person.

As we will see in the next article, the theme and content of the Bible, from the beginning to the end is the Lord Jesus Christ, and the deliverance from sins and the salvation that only He provides, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

    क्योंकि केवल प्रभु यीशु ही हैं जिन्होंने मानवजाति के पापों का स्थाई और उचित समाधान प्रदान किया है, इसलिए मनुष्यों के लिए उद्धार भी केवल प्रभु यीशु मसीह में हो कर ही है, किसी अन्य के द्वारा नहीं, “और किसी दूसरे के द्वारा उद्धार नहीं; क्योंकि स्वर्ग के नीचे मनुष्यों में और कोई दूसरा नाम नहीं दिया गया, जिस के द्वारा हम उद्धार पा सकें” (प्रेरितों 4:12)। अब संसार के सभी मनुष्यों के लिए प्रभु यीशु द्वारा कलवारी के क्रूस पर किए गए कार्य के द्वारा उद्धार का मार्ग खुला है, और यह सभी के लिए मुफ्त में उपलब्ध भी है “पर जैसा अपराध की दशा है, वैसी अनुग्रह के वरदान की नहीं, क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध से बहुत लोग मरे, तो परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह और उसका जो दान एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात यीशु मसीह के अनुग्रह से हुआ बहुतेरे लागों पर अवश्य ही अधिकाई से हुआ। और जैसा एक मनुष्य के पाप करने का फल हुआ, वैसा ही दान की दशा नहीं, क्योंकि एक ही के कारण दण्ड की आज्ञा का फैसला हुआ, परन्तु बहुतेरे अपराधों से ऐसा वरदान उत्पन्न हुआ, कि लोग धर्मी ठहरे। क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कारण मृत्यु ने उस एक ही के द्वारा राज्य किया, तो जो लोग अनुग्रह और धर्म रूपी वरदान बहुतायत से पाते हैं वे एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अवश्य ही अनन्त जीवन में राज्य करेंगे। इसलिये जैसा एक अपराध सब मनुष्यों के लिये दण्ड की आज्ञा का कारण हुआ, वैसा ही एक धर्म का काम भी सब मनुष्यों के लिये जीवन के निमित धर्मी ठहराए जाने का कारण हुआ” (रोमियों 5:15-18)।

    अब अपने पापों से क्षमा तथा उद्धार पाने के लिए किसी भी मनुष्य को प्रभु यीशु पर विश्वास करके, उनसे अपने पापों की क्षमा मांगकर अपना जीवन उन्हें समर्पित करने के अतिरिक्त और कुछ भी करने की कोई भी आवश्यकता नहीं है “उन्होंने कहा, प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास कर, तो तू और तेरा घराना उद्धार पाएगा” (प्रेरितों 16:31)। उद्धार हर किसी के लिए, वह चाहे किसी भी धर्म (चाहे वे इसाई धर्म का पालन करने वाले ही क्यों न हों), जाति, स्थान, रंग, शिक्षा, सांसारिक स्तर, या कुछ भी, कोई भी हो – केवल स्वयं पश्चाताप, अर्थात अपने पापी होने और पाप के दुष्परिणामों का सच्चे मन से एहसास करके, अपने पापों को स्वीकार करने, तथा स्वेच्छा से प्रभु यीशु से उन पापों के लिए क्षमा मांगने और उसे अपना जीवन समर्पित करने के द्वारा ही संभव है “पतरस ने उन से कहा, मन फिराओ, और तुम में से हर एक अपने अपने पापों की क्षमा के लिये यीशु मसीह के नाम से बपतिस्मा ले; तो तुम पवित्र आत्मा का दान पाओगे” (प्रेरितों 2:38), अन्यथा नहीं । उद्धार पाने या बचाए जाने को ही नया जन्म पाना भी कहते हैं – सांसारिक और नश्वर जीवन में से निकल कर आत्मिक और अविनाशी जीवन में जन्म ले लेना; और बिना नया जन्म पाए कोई भी स्वर्ग में न तो प्रवेश कर सकता है और न ही उसे देख भी सकता है “यीशु ने उसको उत्तर दिया; कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं, यदि कोई नये सिरे से न जन्मे तो परमेश्वर का राज्य देख नहीं सकता। नीकुदेमुस ने उस से कहा, मनुष्य जब बूढ़ा हो गया, तो क्योंकर जन्म ले सकता है? क्या वह अपनी माता के गर्भ में दुसरी बार प्रवेश कर के जन्म ले सकता है? यीशु ने उत्तर दिया, कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं; जब तक कोई मनुष्य जल और आत्मा से न जन्मे तो वह परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता” (यूहन्ना 3:3-5); “हे भाइयों, मैं यह कहता हूं कि मांस और लोहू परमेश्वर के राज्य के अधिकारी नहीं हो सकते, और न विनाश अविनाशी का अधिकारी हो सकता है।” “क्योंकि अवश्य है, कि यह नाशमान देह अविनाश को पहिन ले, और यह मरनहार देह अमरता को पहिन ले। और जब यह नाशमान अविनाश को पहिन लेगा, और यह मरनहार अमरता को पहिन लेगा, तब वह वचन जो लिखा है, पूरा हो जाएगा, कि जय ने मृत्यु को निगल लिया” (1 कुरिन्थियों 15:50,53-54)। यह उद्धार अर्थात बचाया जाना या नया जन्म प्राप्त करना किसी धर्म का पालन करने से अथवा परिवार के अनुसार मिलने वाली, या उत्तराधिकार में प्राप्त होने वाली, या वंशागत बात नहीं है; और न ही यह किन्हीं कर्मों को करने या कोई रीति-रिवाज़ पूरे करने अथवा परंपराओं या विधि-विधानों के निर्वाह द्वारा होता है, यह केवल परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह के द्वारा और विश्वास, केवल मसीह यीशु में विश्वास से ही संभव है “जब हम अपराधों के कारण मरे हुए थे, तो हमें मसीह के साथ जिलाया; (अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है।) और मसीह यीशु में उसके साथ उठाया, और स्‍वर्गीय स्थानों में उसके साथ बैठाया। कि वह अपनी उस कृपा से जो मसीह यीशु में हम पर है, आने वाले समयों में अपने अनुग्रह का असीम धन दिखाए। क्योंकि विश्वास के द्वारा अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है, और यह तुम्हारी ओर से नहीं, वरन परमेश्वर का दान है। और न कर्मों के कारण, ऐसा न हो कि कोई घमण्‍ड करे” (इफिसियों 2:5-9)।

    प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अपने पापों के लिए स्वयं नया जन्म लेना होता है। जो भी प्रभु यीशु पर स्वेच्छा तथा सच्चे मन से विश्वास करके, उनसे अपने पापों के लिए स्वयं क्षमा मांगता है, अपना जीवन उन्हें समर्पित कर के, उनका शिष्य होकर, उनकी आज्ञाकारिता में जीवन व्यतीत करने की ठान लेता है, केवल वही पापों से क्षमा प्राप्त करके उनके दुष्परिणामों से बचाया जाता, अर्थात उद्धार पाता है, और परमेश्वर की संतान होने, तथा उसके साथ अनन्त काल के लिए स्वर्ग में रहने का आदर प्राप्त करता है “क्योंकि पाप की मजदूरी तो मृत्यु है, परन्तु परमेश्वर का वरदान हमारे प्रभु मसीह यीशु में अनन्त जीवन है” (रोमियों 6:23)।

    यही उद्धार, या बचाया जाना, या मोक्ष है - पापों से मुक्ति तथा मृत्यु, अर्थात पापों के कारण मिलने वाली नरक की अनन्त घोर पीड़ा, और परमेश्वर से सदा काल के लिए पृथक होने, से निकलकर प्रभ यीशु मसीह पर लाए गए विश्वास के द्वारा परमेश्वर के साथ अनन्त काल के परमानन्द के अनन्त जीवन में प्रवेश करना।

    इसलिए उद्धार प्राप्त करने के लिए, परमेश्वर के एकमात्र सच्चे, अचूक और अटल, दोषरहित, और अपरिवर्तनीय वचन – बाइबल के अतिरिक्त किसी अन्य पर लेश-मात्र भी भरोसा न करें, और अपने अनन्तकाल को सुरक्षित कर लेने के लिए ऊपर दिए गए कदम को विश्वास के साथ उठाएं। यह करने से आपके पास खो देने के लिए सिवाय आपके पापों और नरक में अनन्तकाल के अतिरक्त और कुछ नहीं है, वरन आपके पास अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्ग में पा लेने के लिए सब कुछ है। आप यह अभी इसी समय कर सकते हैं; आपको इसके लिए किसी अन्य व्यक्ति की उपस्थिति अथवा सहायता की भी कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है। नया जन्म या उद्धार पाने  के लिए आपको बस सच्चे समर्पित मन से, एक सीधी सी प्रार्थना करनी है, जो कुछ इस प्रकार से हो सकती है, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आप में तथा आपके द्वारा कलवरी के क्रूस पर मेरे पापों की कीमत चुकाए जाने में विश्वास करता हूँ। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, और मुझे स्वीकार कर लें। मैं अपना जीवन आपको पूर्णतः समर्पित करता हूँ। कृपया मेरी सहायता करें की मैं अपना जीवन आपकी तथा आपके वचन – बाइबल की आज्ञाकारिता में व्यतीत कर सकूँ।” बस इतना ही, कोई रीति-रिवाज़ नहीं, किसी प्रकार के कोई कर्म या कार्य नहीं, किसी व्यक्ति के प्रति किसी भी प्रकार की कोई कृतज्ञता नहीं, बस सच्चे मन और खराई से, सामान्य विश्वास के द्वारा, प्रभु यीशु के साथ संबंध में आ जाना।

English Translation

Sin & Deliverance from Sins (Salvation) In the Christian Faith – Part - 2

Since it is only the Lord Jesus who has provided an everlasting and appropriate solution for the sin of mankind, therefore salvation for mankind is only through the Lord Jesus, no one else, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Now, the way of salvation by the work of the Lord Jesus on the Cross of Calvary is open for every person of the world, and is freely available for everyone, “But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life” (Romans 5:15-18).

Now to receive forgiveness from sins and salvation all that any person needs to do is to believe on the Lord Jesus, ask for His forgiveness for their sins from Him and surrender their life to Him; and nothing more, “So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" ” (Acts 16:31). For everyone, irrespective of their religion (including those born in families professing the christian religion), caste, place, color, education, worldly status, or any other criteria, Salvation is only possible by repentance, i.e. by coming to a heartfelt realization of their sinful status and it's eternal consequences, by acknowledging their sins and voluntarily asking the forgiveness for them from the Lord Jesus and submitting their lives to Him, with a sincere heart, “Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38), otherwise not. To be saved is also known as to be Born Again – i.e. to be born out of the perishing worldly life into eternal spiritual life; and nobody can even see, let alone enter heaven, without being Born Again, “Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:3-5); “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." ” (1 Corinthians 15:50,53-54). This salvation or being Born Again or being saved is not something that is neither through living according to any religion, nor is it familial, neither is it inherited nor is it hereditary; nor is it possible by any kind of works oe efforts, nor through fulfilling any rituals, nor by observing and following any traditions or custom and manners, it is purely by the grace of God through faith and faith alone in Christ Jesus “even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:5-9).

Every person has to be personally Born Again for their own sins. Whosoever believes on the Lord Jesus voluntarily and sincerely, and asks forgiveness for their own sin from Him, surrenders their life to Him, becomes His disciple, and commits to living a life of obedience to Him, only such a person receives forgiveness from sins and is saved from the eternal deleterious consequences of their sin, i.e. is saved, and receives the honor of being a child of God, and of living with Him in heaven for eternity “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23)।

This is salvation, or being saved – being delivered from sin and from death i.e. from the terrible and unimaginable pain of eternally suffering in hell, being separated from God forever, simply by believing on the Lord Jesus and thereby entering the eternal life of bliss with God.

So to be saved, do not rely on any thing or anyone else, except the one true, infallible, inerrant, and irrevocable Word of God - the Bible, and take that step of faith outlined above to secure your eternal destiny. By doing so, you have nothing to loose except your sins and eternity in hell, rather, you have everything to gain, for all eternity in heaven. You can do it right now, at this very moment; you do not need the presence or help of any other person to do this. All you need to do to be saved or Born Again is to pray with a sincere heart a simple, honest, and straightforward prayer, something like: "Lord Jesus I believe in you and that you have paid for my sins on the Cross of Calvary. Please forgive my sins, and accept me. I wholly surrender my life to you. Please help me to live a life committed to you and according to your Word - the Bible." That is all, no rituals, no works of any kind, no obligation to any person in any manner, but just entering into a sincere and heartfelt relationship with the Lord Jesus, through simple faith.

    उद्धार प्राप्त करने का अर्थ है पाप के दुष्परिणामों – अनन्त काल की मृत्यु, अर्थात पृथ्वी के इस जीवन के उपरान्त अनन्त काल के लिए परमेश्वर से दूर हो कर नरक में, जहां से कभी कोई लौट कर वापस नहीं आ सकता है “और इन सब बातों को छोड़ हमारे और तुम्हारे बीच एक भारी गड़हा ठहराया गया है कि जो यहां से उस पार तुम्हारे पास जाना चाहें, वे न जा सकें, और न कोई वहां से इस पार हमारे पास आ सके” (लूका 16:26), चले जाने से बच जाना। बचाए जाने का अर्थ प्रभु यीशु मसीह में होकर अनन्त काल के लिए परमेश्वर के सम्मुख धर्मी ठहरना और परमेश्वर के साथ मेल-मिलाप  हो जाना है “सो जब हम विश्वास से धर्मी ठहरे, तो अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा परमेश्वर के साथ मेल रखें।” “क्योंकि बैरी होने की दशा में तो उसके पुत्र की मृत्यु के द्वारा हमारा मेल परमेश्वर के साथ हुआ फिर मेल हो जाने पर उसके जीवन के कारण हम उद्धार क्यों न पाएंगे?” (रोमियों 5:1, 10)। उद्धार पाने या बचाए जाने के साथ ही प्राप्त होने वाले अन्य लाभ हैं परमेश्वर की संतान बन जाना “परन्तु जितनों ने उसे ग्रहण किया, उसने उन्हें परमेश्वर के सन्तान होने का अधिकार दिया, अर्थात उन्हें जो उसके नाम पर विश्वास रखते हैं। वे न तो लोहू से, न शरीर की इच्छा से, न मनुष्य की इच्छा से, परन्तु परमेश्वर से उत्पन्न हुए हैं” (यूहन्ना 1:12-13), तथा मसीह यीशु के संगी वारिस बन जाना “और यदि सन्तान हैं, तो वारिस भी, वरन परमेश्वर के वारिस और मसीह के संगी वारिस हैं, जब कि हम उसके साथ दुख उठाएं कि उसके साथ महिमा भी पाएं” (रोमियों 8:17)।

    प्रत्येक मनुष्य पाप करने के स्वभाव और प्रवृति के साथ जन्म लेता है “मनुष्य है क्या कि वह निष्कलंक हो? और जो स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुआ वह है क्या कि निर्दोष हो सके?” (अय्यूब 15:14); और “देख, मैं अधर्म के साथ उत्पन्न हुआ, और पाप के साथ अपनी माता के गर्भ में पड़ा” (भजन 51:5)। पाप करना और अधर्मी होना हमारे अन्दर जन्म से विद्यमान प्रवृत्ति है जो हमारे आदि माता-पिता हव्वा और आदम के पाप के परिणामस्वरूप मनुष्य जाति में वंशानुगत रीति से है “इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया” (रोमियों 5:12)। जैसे कि एक डूबता हुआ मनुष्य अपने सिर के बालों से अपने आप को खींच कर स्वयं को पानी से बाहर नहीं निकाल सकता है, वैसे ही पाप से अपवित्र एवं अशुद्ध मनुष्य अपने किसी भी प्रयास से अपने आप को पवित्र एवं शुद्ध नहीं कर सकता है “हम तो सब के सब अशुद्ध मनुष्य के से हैं, और हमारे धर्म के काम सब के सब मैले चिथड़ों के समान हैं। हम सब के सब पत्ते के समान मुर्झा जाते हैं, और हमारे अधर्म के कामों ने हमें वायु के समान उड़ा दिया है” (यशायाह 64:6)। जैसे उस डूबते हुए मनुष्य को बचने के लिए बाहर से किसी की सहायता चाहिए होती है, उसी प्रकार से पाप में डूबे हुए मनुष्य को भी पाप से उभरने के लिए पाप से बाहर के किसी की सहायता की आवश्यकता होती है “जूफा से मुझे शुद्ध कर, तो मैं पवित्र हो जाऊंगा; मुझे धो, और मैं हिम से भी अधिक श्वेत बनूंगा” (भजन 51:7)।

    पवित्र एवं निष्पाप परमेश्वर पाप के साथ संगति या समझौता नहीं कर सकता है – यह उसके स्वभाव तथा चरित्र के प्रतिकूल है “जब तुम मेरी ओर हाथ फैलाओ, तब मैं तुम से मुंह फेर लूंगा; तुम कितनी ही प्रार्थना क्यों न करो, तौभी मैं तुम्हारी न सुनूंगा; क्योंकि तुम्हारे हाथ खून से भरे हैं। परन्तु तुम्हारे अधर्म के कामों ने तुम को तुम्हारे परमेश्वर से अलग कर दिया है, और तुम्हारे पापों के कारण उस का मुँह तुम से ऐसा छिपा है कि वह नहीं सुनता।” “वे उस समय यहोवा की दोहाई देंगे, परन्तु वह उनकी न सुनेगा, वरन उस समय वह उनके बुरे कामों के कारण उन से मुंह फेर लेगा” (यशायाह 1:15; 59:2; मीका 3:4)। किन्तु वह अपनी सर्वश्रेष्ठ सृष्टि, मनुष्य, से बहुत प्रेम करता है और उस के साथ संगति रखना चाहता है – यद्यपि मनुष्य अब पाप में गिर चुका है। परमेश्वर न केवल प्रेमी है, वरन वह न्यायी भी है। वह पाप की यूं ही अनदेखी नहीं कर सकता है, परमेश्वर के न्याय की मांग है कि प्रत्येक पापी को अपने ही पाप के लिए परमेश्वर द्वारा निर्धारित दण्ड – मृत्य, अर्थात उससे पृथक हो जाने को सहना ही होगा “देखो, सभों के प्राण तो मेरे हैं; जैसा पिता का प्राण, वैसा ही पुत्र का भी प्राण है; दोनों मेरे ही हैं। इसलिये जो प्राणी पाप करे वही मर जाएगा। जो प्राणी पाप करे वही मरेगा, न तो पुत्र पिता के अधर्म का भार उठाएगा और न पिता पुत्र का; धर्मी को अपने ही धर्म का फल, और दुष्ट को अपनी ही दुष्टता का फल मिलेगा” (यहेजकेल 18:4, 20)। यदि मनुष्य को यह दण्ड सहना पड़े, तो फिर वह परमेश्वर के साथ संगति में कभी लौटने नहीं पाएगा; किन्तु परमेश्वर, अपने बड़े प्रेम के कारण, मनुष्य से संगति रखना चाहता है।

    इस असंभव प्रतीत होने वाली विडंबना का समाधान भी परमेश्वर ने ही बनाया, जिससे उसके न्याय की मांग भी पूरी हो जाए और वह मनुष्य के साथ संगति भी रख सके। परमेश्वर ने स्वयं मनुष्य बनकर इस पृथ्वी पर प्रभु यीशु मसीह के रूप में जन्म लिया “आदि में वचन था, और वचन परमेश्वर के साथ था, और वचन परमेश्वर था। और वचन देहधारी हुआ; और अनुग्रह और सच्चाई से परिपूर्ण हो कर हमारे बीच में डेरा किया, और हम ने उस की ऐसी महिमा देखी, जैसी पिता के एकलौते की महिमा” (यूहन्ना 1:1, 14), और एक सामान्य मनुष्य के समान जीवन जीते हुए भी एक निष्पाप तथा निष्कलंक जीवन बिताया “क्योंकि हमारा ऐसा महायाजक नहीं, जो हमारी निर्बलताओं में हमारे साथ दुखी न हो सके; वरन वह सब बातों में हमारी समान परखा तो गया, तौभी निष्‍पाप निकला।” “सो ऐसा ही महायाजक हमारे योग्य था, जो पवित्र, और निष्‍कपट और निर्मल, और पापियों से अलग, और स्वर्ग से भी ऊंचा किया हुआ हो” (इब्रानियों 4:15; 7:26); “न तो उसने पाप किया, और न उसके मुंह से छल की कोई बात निकली” (1 पतरस 2:22); “और तुम जानते हो, कि वह इसलिये प्रगट हुआ, कि पापों को हर ले जाए; और उसके स्‍वभाव में पाप नहीं” (1 यूहन्ना 3:5)। प्रभु यीशु ने कभी कोई भी पाप नहीं किया, वे आजीवन पाप से अनजान रहे। फिर भी, प्रभु यीशु ने समस्त मानवजाति के सभी पापों को अपने ऊपर ले लिया, संसार के सभी मनुष्यों के पाप को अपना कर वे सभी मनुष्यों के लिए कलवारी के क्रूस पर पाप बन गए “जो पाप से अज्ञात था, उसी को उसने हमारे लिये पाप ठहराया, कि हम उस में हो कर परमेश्वर की धामिर्कता बन जाएं” (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:21), और मनुष्यों के स्थान पर उन्होंने स्वयं मृत्यु “क्योंकि मसीह का प्रेम हमें विवश कर देता है; इसलिये कि हम यह समझते हैं, कि जब एक सब के लिये मरा तो सब मर गए। और वह इस निमित्त सब के लिये मरा, कि जो जीवित हैं, वे आगे को अपने लिये न जीएं परन्तु उसके लिये जो उन के लिये मरा और फिर जी उठा” (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:14-15); तथा परमेश्वर से दूर होने को सह लिया “तीसरे पहर के निकट यीशु ने बड़े शब्द से पुकारकर कहा, एली, एली, लमा शबक्तनी अर्थात हे मेरे परमेश्वर, हे मेरे परमेश्वर, तू ने मुझे क्यों छोड़ दिया?” (मत्ती 27:46)। उन्होंने स्वेच्छा से तथा सब कुछ जानते हुए क्रूस पर अपना बलिदान दिया “पिता इसलिये मुझ से प्रेम रखता है, कि मैं अपना प्राण देता हूं, कि उसे फिर ले लूं। कोई उसे मुझ से छीनता नहीं, वरन मैं उसे आप ही देता हूं: मुझे उसके देने का अधिकार है, और उसे फिर लेने का भी अधिकार है: यह आज्ञा मेरे पिता से मुझे मिली है” (यूहन्ना 10:17-18)। वे मारे गए, गाड़े गए, और तीसरे दिन मृतकों में से जी उठ कर अपने ईश्वरत्व को प्रमाणित किया “उसी को, जब वह परमेश्वर की ठहराई हुई मनसा और होनहार के ज्ञान के अनुसार पकड़वाया गया, तो तुम ने अधर्मियों के हाथ से उसे क्रूस पर चढ़वा कर मार डाला। परन्तु उसी को परमेश्वर ने मृत्यु के बन्‍धनों से छुड़ाकर जिलाया: क्योंकि यह अनहोना था कि वह उसके वश में रहता।” “क्योंकि उसने एक दिन ठहराया है, जिस में वह उस मनुष्य के द्वारा धर्म से जगत का न्याय करेगा, जिसे उसने ठहराया है और उसे मरे हुओं में से जिलाकर, यह बात सब पर प्रामाणित कर दी है” (प्रेरितों 2:23-24; 17:31)।

    यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

English Translation

Sin & Deliverance from Sins (Salvation) In the Christian Faith – Part - 1

Salvation, or to be saved means to be saved or to be rescued from the deleterious effect of sin – eternal death, i.e. to be rescued from being separated from God forever, and, after this earthly life, from being cast away into hell fire forever, from where none can ever come back, “And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us” (Luke 16:26). To be saved means to be justified before God and for eternity to be reconciled with God through the Lord Jesus “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”; and “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life”” (Romans 5:1, 10). The added benefits of salvation or being saved are that we become God’s children “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13), and a co-heir with Christ Jesus “and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” (Romans 8:17).

Every person is born unrighteous with a natural tendency to sin, “What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous?” (Job 15:14); and “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me” (Psalms 51:5).  Unrighteousness and sinfulness is our in-born hereditary tendency because of the effects of the sin of our fore-parents, Adam and Eve, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12). Just as a drowning person cannot lift himself out of the water by catching hold of his hair and trying to pull himself out of water, similarly a person made unholy and defiled by sin cannot make himself holy and pure by any self-efforts of being righteous, “But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6). Just as that drowning man needs help from someone outside, similarly a person drowning in sin needs the help of someone to be delivered from the sin, “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow” (Psalm 51:7).

The Holy and Sinless God can never compromise or keep company with sin – this is contrary to His nature and character, “When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood “; “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear”; “Then they will cry to the Lord, But He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, Because they have been evil in their deeds” (Isaiah 1:15; 59:2; Micah 3:4). But He also loves His best creation, man, very much and wants to have fellowship with him – even though man has now fallen in sin. Not only is God a loving God, but He is also a just God. He cannot simply condone sin, God's justice demands that the sinner receive and bear the just and God determined punishment for his sin – death, i.e. to be separated from Him, “Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die”; “The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20). If man were to undergo this punishment then he would never be able to return to fellowship with God; but God, in His great love for us, does want to have fellowship with man.

It was God who provided the way out of this seemingly impossible imbroglio, so that His justice could be met, as well as He could have fellowship with men. God was born as a man on this earth, incarnated as the Lord Jesus Christ, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”; “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth”  (John 1:1, 14), and lived a sinless and spotless even though living as a common man, “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin”; “For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens” (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26); “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth” (1 Peter 2:22); “And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin” (1 John 3:5). The Lord Jesus never committed any sin; all through His life, He knew no sin. Yet the Lord Jesus took upon Himself all the sins of everyone in the whole world, and by taking up the sins of every person of earth, on the Cross of Calvary He became sin for all the people of the world, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21), and He then bore the punishment for sin for the entire mankind, He suffered death, “For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15) and separation from God in place of man. “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" ” (Matthew  27:46). He knowingly and voluntarily sacrificed Himself on the cross, “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father” (John 10:17-18). He died, He was buried, and by resurrecting from the dead on the third day He proved His divinity, “Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.”; “because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead” (Acts 2:23-24; 17:31).

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.

परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में आरंभ से ही जीविका के लिए कार्य करना सिखाया गया है। परमेश्वर ने आदम को बनाया, उसी के लिए अदन की वाटिका लगाई, परन्तु उस वाटिका की देखभाल करने का कार्य आदम को सौंपा (उत्पत्ति 2:8, 15)। इस्राएल ने भी, वाचा की भूमि कनान की जंगल की यात्रा के दौरान, यद्यपि उन चालीस वर्षों में कुछ बोया या काटा नहीं, परन्तु उन्हें प्रति प्रातः उठकर अपने लिए मन्ना एकत्रित करने के लिए परिश्रम करना होता था; यदि वे ऐसा नहीं करते, तो दिन चढ़ने के साथ वह मन्ना जाता रहता था (निर्गमन 16:21)। कनान में पहुँचने का बाद भी, उन्हें उस स्थान को अपना बनाने के लिए युद्ध लड़ने पड़े, और उस उपजाऊ भूमि के लाभ अर्जित करने के लिए उसमें खेती और काम करना पड़ा। इस्राएल के शत्रुओं को पराजित करने के लिए जब परमेश्वर ने उनकी ओर से युद्ध किए तब भी, उन्हें जाकर युद्ध भूमि में पाँति बांधकर उपस्थित होना था (2 इतिहास 20:14-17), और उसके बाद युद्ध की लूट को एकत्रित करने के लिए जाना था (2 इतिहास 20:25)। परमेश्वर के किसी भी जन को आराम से घर बैठने के द्वारा कभी कुछ नहीं मिला, और आलसी होकर बिना कार्य किए परमेश्वर द्वारा उनकी जेबें भरने की प्रतीक्षा करने से भी किसी को कुछ प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है, वह चाहे आत्मिक आशीष हो या भौतिक; उन्हें सदा ही अपनी जीविका कमाने और परिवारों की देखभाल करने के लिए परिश्रम करना पड़ा है – यह हमारे आदि माता-पिता द्वारा किए गए प्रथम पाप की विरासत "और अपने माथे के पसीने की रोटी खाया करेगा " (उत्पत्ति 3:19) का निर्वाह है। स्वयँ प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने भी अपनी सेवकाई आरंभ करने से पहले बढ़ई का कार्य किया था (मरकुस 6:3)। परमेश्वर के पवित्र आत्मा ने हमारे लिए अपने वचन में दर्ज करवा दिया है: " क्योंकि तुम आप जानते हो, कि किस रीति से हमारी सी चाल चलनी चाहिए; क्योंकि हम तुम्हारे बीच में अनुचित चाल न चले। और किसी की रोटी सेंत में न खाई; पर परिश्रम और कष्‍ट से रात दिन काम धन्‍धा करते थे, कि तुम में से किसी पर भार न हो। यह नहीं, कि हमें अधिकार नहीं; पर इसलिये कि अपने आप को तुम्हारे लिये आदर्श ठहराएं, कि तुम हमारी सी चाल चलो। और जब हम तुम्हारे यहां थे, तब भी यह आज्ञा तुम्हें देते थे, कि यदि कोई काम करना न चाहे, तो खाने भी न पाए। हम सुनते हैं, कि कितने लोग तुम्हारे बीच में अनुचित चाल चलते हैं; और कुछ काम नहीं करते, पर औरों के काम में हाथ डाला करते हैं। ऐसों को हम प्रभु यीशु मसीह में आज्ञा देते और समझाते हैं, कि चुपचाप काम कर के अपनी ही रोटी खाया करें।” (2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 3: 7-12)। पौलुस और उसके साथी, यद्यपि उनका प्राथमिक कार्य परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार का प्रचार और प्रसार था, फिर भी वे अपनी जीविका तथा औरों की सहायता के लिए कमाने के लिए परिश्रम करते थे (1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 2:7-10), और यही सभी को भी करना चाहिए। परमेश्वर के वचन में, कार्य करने वालों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वे विश्वासयोग्यता से कार्य करें, यह मानकर कि वे मनुष्यों के लिए नहीं परन्तु परमेश्वर के लिए कर रहे हैं, और परमेश्वर ही उन्हें उसका प्रतिफल देगा (कुलुस्सियों 3:22-25; 1 पतरस 2:18-21)। इसलिए समृद्ध होने के लिए सबसे पहली बात जो मसीही विश्वासी को पूरी करनी है वह है एक सत्यनिष्ठ, ईमानदार, और उद्यमी व्यक्ति होना, उसे सौंपे गए कार्यों एवं दायित्वों का निर्वाह अपने विश्वास, और अपने प्रभु की गवाही के लिए करना और उससे अपने उद्धारकर्ता प्रभु यीशु मसीह की महिमा करना (1 पतरस 2:12) यह भरोसा रखते हुए कि परमेश्वर उसकी निष्ठा और उद्यम का उचित प्रतिफल, अपने समय और विधि से अवश्य देगा।

दूसरे, जैसा कि पौलुस के जीवन से प्रगट है, अपने सांसारिक कार्यों के अतिरिक्त, हमें परमेश्वर के कार्यों के लिए भी समय और अवसर के खोजी रहना है, ऐसा करना अति आवश्यक है। उसकी प्रत्येक नया जन्म पाई सन्तान के लिए, परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही करने के लिए कुछ-न-कुछ निर्धारित करके रखा हुआ है (इफिसियों 2:10), और उसके अनुसार उन्हें आवश्यक वरदान भी प्रदान किए हैं। इसके लिए वह उपयुक्त अवसर हमारी ओर भेजता है, जिससे परमेश्वर द्वारा निर्धारित हमारी सेवाकाईयों का हम निर्वाह कर सकें। यदि हम जो कार्य परमेश्वर चाहता है कि हम करें, उसके प्रति निश्चित नहीं हैं, तो हमें परमेश्वर से इसके विषय और जानकारी लेने के लिए प्रार्थना में समय बिताना चाहिए। हमारी सेवकाई के कार्यों के लिए परमेश्वर की इच्छा जानने का एक संकेत हमारे पास आने वाली सेवकाई के प्रकार के अवसर हो सकते हैं, या वह सेवकाई जो हमें रुचिकर लगती है, या वह जिसे हम देखते हैं कि बहुधा लोग हमें सौंपते हैं। हमें अपने आप को परमेश्वर की सेवकाई के लिए परमेश्वर को, हमारी मण्डली या कलीसिया को, और हमारी संगति को, उपलब्ध करना चाहिए, और हमें परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करते रहना चाहिए कि वह हमें उन दायित्वों में लेकर चले जो वह चाहता है कि हम निभाएं। 3 यूहन्ना 1:2 में लिखा है: “हे प्रिय, मेरी यह प्रार्थना है; कि जैसे तू आत्मिक उन्नति कर रहा है, वैसे ही तू सब बातों मे उन्नति करे, और भला चंगा रहे।” दूसरे शब्दों में, परमेश्वर की कार्यविधि के अनुसार, हमारी भौतिक समृद्धि, हमारी आत्मिक समृद्धि के साथ जुड़ी हुई है। जैसे जैसे हम आत्मिक रीति से समृद्ध होते जाते हैं, हम भौतिक रीति से भी समृद्ध होते जाते हैं। हम जब परमेश्वर के कार्यों के प्रति सजग और उद्यमी होते हैं, परमेश्वर हमारी तथा हमारे परिवारों की देखभाल के प्रति कार्यरत होता है।

तीसरा, हमारे पास अभी जो भी आमदनी है, हमें जो भी मिलता है, वह चाहे कितना भी कम या अधिक हो, हमें उसमें से अपना दशमांश अवश्य देना चाहिए। परमेश्वर ने दशमांश देने के लिए कभी किसी न्यूनतम आय सीमा को निर्धारित नहीं किया, जिसे जो भी मिलता था, उसे उतने में से ही दशमांश देना था। हम परमेश्वर को जितना अधिक देंगे, परमेश्वर उसके अनुपात में उतना अधिक हमें लौटा कर देगा। हम जो भी कमाते हैं, चाहे थोड़ा या बहुत, हमें उसमें से नियमित और ईमानदारी से दशमांश निकालकर चर्च या मण्डली में दे देना चाहिए, न कि उसे अपनी इच्छा अथवा समझ के अनुसार परमेश्वर के नाम में कहीं खर्च कर देना चाहिए। जैसा कि मलाकी  3:10 में लिखा है, हमें उसे परमेश्वर के भवन में लाना और देना है; इसके बाद ही शेष भाग को अपनी आवश्यकताओं के लिए प्रयोग करना चाहिए; और हम स्वयं देखेंगे कि परमेश्वर इसके द्वारा हमें कैसे आशीषित करता है। इस बात का बहुत अच्छा उदाहरण कि कैसे परमेश्वर दशमांश देने के उसके वचन पर विश्वास और पालन करने वालों को आशीषित करता है विलियम कोलगेट का जीवन है, जो विश्वप्रसिद्ध कोलगेट टूथपेस्ट बनाने वाली कंपनी का संस्थापक था: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Colgate)। इसलिए, हमें शैतान को हमारे मनों में यह भय नहीं उत्पन्न करने देना चाहिए कि हम दशमांश देना आर्थिक रीति से बर्दाशत नहीं करने पाएँगे, क्योंकि इस भय के पालन के द्वारा वह हमारी आशीषें हम से चुरा लेता है; वरन, हमें परमेश्वर और उसके वचन पर भरोसा रखते हुए नियमित दशमांश देना चाहिए। बिना पहले बीज बोए कोई भी फसल नहीं काट सकता है; हमारी आशीषों की फसल के लिए हमारे दशमांश ही वे बोया गया बीज हैं – बोए गए बीज की गुणवत्ता और मात्रा ही मिलने वाली फसल की मात्रा और गुणवत्ता को निर्धारित करती है।

चौथा, हमें परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करना और जानना चाहिए कि अपने रोज़गार को और उन्नत बनाने के लिए क्या हमें और अध्ययन या प्रशिक्षण लेना चाहिए कि नहीं। आजकल इंटरनेट के माध्यम से अध्ययन, प्रशिक्षण तथा कार्य करने के अनेकों साधन और अवसर उपलब्ध हैं, जिनका हम सदुपयोग कर सकते हैं, जिससे हम कमा भी सकते, और साथ ही अपने कार्य तथा अपनी आय को बढ़ा भी सकते हैं।

यह सब परमेश्वर की इच्छा और मार्गदर्शन में करने के द्वारा, हम पाएँगे कि किसी प्रकार से हमें यह सब करने के लिए पर्याप्त समय भी मिलेगा, और इसके लिए आवश्यक सामर्थ्य तथा बुद्धिमता भी, जिससे हम न केवल अपना वर्तमान सांसारिक कार्य भी भली भांति करने पाएंगे वरन परमेश्वर के लिए भी उपयोगी रहेंगे, अपने परिवारों की देखभाल भी करने पाएँगे, और आवश्यक अध्ययन या प्रशिक्षण के द्वारा अपनी आय की वृद्धि के लिए व्संसाधन भी जुटा भी सकेंगे। जब यह सब परमेश्वर की इच्छा और मार्गदर्शन में किया जाएगा, तो इन सभी दायित्वों के योग्य निर्वाह के संघर्ष में विजय दिलवाना परमेश्वर का दायित्व होगा; और हमें बस अपने आप को उस युद्ध भूमि में खड़े होकर परमेश्वर के कार्य को देखना होगा और फिर जाकर आशीष को एकत्रित करना होगा।

कठिन समयों में सान्तवना तथा प्रोत्साहन के लिए बाइबल का एक बहुत अच्छा खण्ड है यशायाह 40:27-31 “हे याकूब, तू क्यों कहता है, हे इस्राएल तू क्यों बोलता है, मेरा मार्ग यहोवा से छिपा हुआ है, मेरा परमेश्वर मेरे न्याय की कुछ चिन्ता नहीं करता? क्या तुम नहीं जानते? क्या तुम ने नहीं सुना? यहोवा जो सनातन परमेश्वर और पृथ्वी भर का सृजनहार है, वह न थकता, न श्रमित होता है, उसकी बुद्धि अगम है। वह थके हुए को बल देता है और शक्तिहीन को बहुत सामर्थ देता है। तरूण तो थकते और श्रमित हो जाते हैं, और जवान ठोकर खाकर गिरते हैं; परन्तु जो यहोवा की बाट जोहते हैं, वे नया बल प्राप्त करते जाएंगे, वे उकाबों के समान उड़ेंगे, वे दौड़ेंगे और श्रमित न होंगे, चलेंगे और थकित न होंगे।”

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

How does God provide material prosperity for His children?

The concept of working for a living has been there since the very beginning in God’s Word the Bible. God made Adam, planted the Garden of Eden for him, but gave him the responsibility of working in it and maintaining it (Genesis 2:8, 15). Even Israel, in their wilderness journey to the promised land of Canaan, although they did not sow or reap any harvest during the forty years journey, yet they had to labor every morning to gather their quota of manna; if they failed to do so, it was gone as the day progressed (Exodus 16:21). Once in Canaan, they had to fight to possess the land, and then to cultivate it to receive it's benefits. Even when God fought for Israel to defeat their enemies, they still had to go and position themselves in the battle ground (2 Chronicles 20:14-17), and only then go and gather the loot for themselves (2 Chronicles 20:25). None of Gods people got anything by sitting back at home, or taking it easy and just waiting for God to fill in their pockets, with whether spiritual or physical blessings; they always had to work for their living and maintaining their families - a fulfillment of the legacy "In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread" (Genesis 3:19) of the first sin our fore-parents committed. Even the Lord Jesus worked as a carpenter (Mark 6:3) till the time He began His ministry. The Holy Spirit, through the Apostle Paul has laid it down in Gods Word for us: "For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; nor did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread” (2 Thessalonians 3: 7-12). Paul and his companions, although primarily engaged in Gods ministry of spreading the gospel, also worked for a living and for helping others (1 Thessalonians 2:7-10), and so should everybody else. Workers are exhorted in the Word of God to faithfully do their work, as to the Lord and not to men, and God will reward them for it (Colossians 3:22-25; 1 Peter 2:18-21). Hence, the first thing for a Believer to do to be prosperous is to be a sincere, honest, hardworking person, fulfilling his assigned responsibilities so as to be a witness for his faith, for his Lord, and to glorify the savior Lord Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:12) through his work, trusting God to reward his sincerity and hard-work, in God's own time and manner.

Secondly, as is evident from the life of Paul, besides the secular work, we should always be determined to find time and opportunity to engage in God's Work as well – it is of paramount importance. God has already determined something or the other to be done by everyone one of His Born Again children (Ephesians 2:10), and has accordingly given us the required gifts. He sends opportunities our way, appropriate to our God ordained ministries, for us to fulfill. If we are not aware or sure of the work God wants us to do for Him, then we should spend time in praying and inquiring from God about it. An indicator of God's desire for us can be the various spiritual activity opportunities that either often come our way, or we find interesting to do, or others often entrust us with. We should make ourselves available to God, to our Church, and to our fellowship, and should ask God to lead us into the things that He wants us to do. It says in 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”. In other words, our physical prosperity, in Gods scheme of things, is linked to our spiritual prosperity. As we prosper spiritually, we will also prosper physically. When we take care of God's work, God takes care of us and our family.

Thirdly, we should make it a point to tithe from whatever little we presently have or get. God never set a lower or minimum limit to earnings for tithing. The more we give to God, God returns even more back to us. From whatever we earn, little or much, we should faithfully and regularly tithe and give our tithe portion into the Church, without spending it in the name of God according to our own fancy. We ought to bring and put it into the house of God as it says in Malachi 3:10; only then should we use the rest for our needs; and we will see for ourselves how God blesses us for it. A very good example of how God blesses those who trust Him for His Word of blessing through tithing is the life of William Colgate, the founder of the world famous Colgate toothpaste: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Colgate). Therefore we should not let Satan create an apprehension or fear in our mind about not being able to afford tithing and cheat us out of our blessings; rather, we should trust God and do it regularly. No one can reap a harvest, without first sowing some seed; our tithe is the seed sown for our harvest - the quality and quantity of the seed sown determines the quality and quantity of the harvest we will receive.

Fourthly, we ought to pray to God and ask for His will about studying/training further and thereby improving our job opportunities. Now-a-days there are many online courses and part-time or on-the-job study opportunities, which we can make use of, so as to be earning, as well as improving our work and salary prospects.

By doing these in the guidance and will of God, we will find that somehow we will be able to find the time, strength and wisdom to not only do our present job well, but also do God's work, look after our family, and also study for improving our prospects and do well in the further studies/training. When done in the will and guidance of God, the battle to balance these responsibilities will not be ours but the Lords; we will only have to position ourselves in the battlefield, and then go in to gather the spoils.

A great portion from Gods Word for encouragement in trying times is Isaiah 40:27-31 “Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: "My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God"? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” and I encourage you to claim it for yourself.”

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
