निर्गमन 12:8-10 (3) - प्रभु की मेज़ और व्यक्तिगत बाइबल अध्ययन

 

       क्योंकि परमेश्वर के लोगों में परमेश्वर के वचन को पढ़ने और उसका पालन करने का चाव नहीं रहा है, बल्कि वे मनुष्यों द्वारा दी जा रही शिक्षाओं को सुनने और बिना उन्हें जाँचे तथा वचन से उनकी पुष्टि करे ही मानने से ही संतुष्ट रहते हैं, इसीलिए शैतान परमेश्वर के वचन और निर्देशों के बारे में बहुत सी गलत व्याख्याएँ एवं अर्थ, गलत शिक्षाएं और मिथ्या सिद्धांतों को परमेश्वर के लोगों तथा कलीसिया में ले आने पाया है। शैतान की इन बाइबल के विपरीत, झूठी, त्रुटिपूर्ण, दुष्ट शिक्षाओं ने ईसाई समाज या मसीहियत में बहुत गहरी जड़ पकड़ ली है, और सामान्यतः लोग उन्हीं में बने रहना भी चाहते हैं, न कि यह कि परमेश्वर के वचन से उन्हें जाँचे और उनकी पुष्टि करें, तथा अपने आप को सुधारें। हमारे इस अध्ययन, प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने, से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में से एक है कि हम किसी भी प्रकार से, अपने समुदाय या डिनॉमिनेशन की रीति के अनुसार, इसमें भाग ले सकते हैं, उससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है और सभी परमेश्वर को मान्य है। दूसरी गलत शिक्षा है कि प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने से लोग धर्मी, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में प्रवेश के लिये योग्य हो जाते हैं। किन्तु, जैसा कि हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं, परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में इन धारणाओं का कोई समर्थन, कोई पुष्टि नहीं है; ये सभी शैतान द्वारा परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करने के द्वारा लाई तथा परोसी गई बातें हैं।

        हम इस विषय, प्रभु भोज, या, प्रभु की मेज़ के बारे में पुराने नियम के इसके प्ररूप, फसह से सीखते आ रहे हैं। फसह के बारे में परमेश्वर के निर्देश और नियम निर्गमन 12 में तथा मूसा में होकर परमेश्वर के द्वारा दी गई व्यवस्था में दिए गए हैं। वर्तमान में हम निर्गमन 12 से अध्ययन कर रहे हैं, और अभी अध्ययन में पद 8-10 पर पहुँचे हैं। इन पदों में बहुत से प्रतीक और चिह्न हैं जो प्रभु यीशु मसीह, प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने, और मसीही जीवन जीने से संबंधित हैं, और जिन्हें हमने देखा है। पिछले लेख में हमने बलि किए हुए मेमने को “खाने” के बारे में विस्तार से देखा था, और इसका प्रभु यीशु द्वारा उसकी “देह और लहू” को खाने के निर्देश के साथ संबंध को देखा था। हमने देखा था कि प्रभु का यह निर्देश, सांकेतिक रीति से उसके वचन का परिश्रम के साथ गंभीर अध्ययन करने तथा उसका पालन करने को दिखाता है। आज हम इन पदों में दिए गए प्रतीकों और चिह्नों पर और आगे देखेंगे, और उनसे प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने के बारे में और आगे की बातों को सीखेंगे।

        पद 8 कहता है कि इस्राएलियों को बलि किए हुए मेमने को उसी रात में खाना था। परमेश्वर के वचन में “रात” और “अंधकार” पाप के व्याप्त होने तथा शैतानी ताकतों के कार्यरत होने के प्रतीक हैं (रोमियों 13:12; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:5), स्वर्ग में कोई रात नहीं होगी (प्रकाशितवाक्य 21:25; 22:5); ये ऐसे समय के भी चिह्न हैं जब कोई भी प्रभु के लिए कार्य नहीं करने पाएगा (यूहन्ना 9:4)। प्रभु द्वारा दिए गए अंत के दिनों के चिह्नों में से एक है कि उसके लोग घोर सताव में से होकर निकलेंगे, झूठे शिक्षक और झूठी शिक्षाओं का बोल-बाला होगा, और बहुत से लोग ठोकर खाकर पीछे हट जाएंगे (मत्ती 24:9-12)। वर्तमान में संसार भर की परिस्थितियाँ एवं गतिविधियाँ, उनका निरंतर और भी बिगड़ते ही चले जाना, मसीही विश्वासियों को अधिकाधिक निशाना बनाया तथा प्रताड़ित किये जाना, सुसमाचार प्रचार तथा प्रभु को उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार करने में बढ़ती हुए बाधाएँ, सभी इस बात को दिखाते हैं कि हम इस “रात” के समय में जी रहे हैं; जिसमें प्रभु के लिए कार्य करना और भी अधिक कठिन होता चला जा रहा है। इस्राएलियों को उस रात में, मिस्र से निकाल जाने की पुकार की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए, बलि किए हुए मेमने को खाना था। जैसा हमने पिछले लेख में देखा है, यह मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए इस बात का प्रतीक है कि उन्हें अपने आप को परमेश्वर के वचन के अध्ययन में लौलीन कर लेना है, बिना इस बात की परवाह किए कि बाहर संसार में क्या हो रहा है। हमारे लिए कुलुस्सियों 3:16 इस बात की पुष्टि करता है, “मसीह के वचन को अपने हृदय में अधिकाई से बसने दो; और सिद्ध ज्ञान सहित एक दूसरे को सिखाओ, और चिताओ, और अपने अपने मन में अनुग्रह के साथ परमेश्वर के लिये भजन और स्तुतिगान और आत्मिक गीत गाओ”; और याकूब 1:21 हमें बताता है कि ऐसा क्यों करना है, “इसलिये सारी मलिनता और बैर भाव की बढ़ती को दूर कर के, उस वचन को नम्रता से ग्रहण कर लो, जो हृदय में बोया गया और जो तुम्हारे प्राणों का उद्धार कर सकता है।” स्मरण कीजिए कि मत्ती 24:12 में प्रभु ने कहा है कि संसार के हालात, और बढ़ते हुए अधर्म के कारण बहुतेरों का प्रेम ठंडा पड़ जाएगा। किन्तु जो परमेश्वर के वचन में दृढ़ता से स्थापित होंगे, संसार चाहे जो भी दिखाता और सिखाता रहे, वे वचन में ही विश्वास रखेंगे और उसी का पालन करेंगे, ऐसे लोग ही अपने छुटकारे की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए अपने विश्वास में दृढ़ बने रहेंगे।

        इन बातों से हम अपने अध्ययन, प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने के बारे में क्या सीखते हैं? जैसा कि हम पिछले लेख में देख और विचार कर चुके हैं, प्रभु की मेज़ उनके लिए है जो परमेश्वर के वचन का आदर करते हैं, उसका अध्ययन और पालन करते हैं। पाप के बड़ी गहराई से हर ओर, हर बात में व्याप्त होने और शैतानी शक्तियों के अभिभूत कर देने वाले कार्यों के इस समय में, अपने विश्वास में दृढ़ बने रहने, तथा शैतान की युक्तियों द्वारा बहकाए जाने से बचे रहने के लिए हमें परमेश्वर के वचन में दृढ़ता से स्थापित रहना है। प्रभु यीशु ने अंत के दिनों के चिह्नों में कहा है “तब बहुतेरे ठोकर खाएंगे, और एक दूसरे से बैर रखेंगे” (मत्ती 24:10), तथा, “और अधर्म के बढ़ने से बहुतों का प्रेम ठण्डा हो जाएगा” (मत्ती 24:12)। ये लोग कौन होंगे? ये वे लोग होंगे जो अपने विश्वास में कमजोर हैं, इसलिए वे शैतान की उन दुष्ट योजनाओं के सामने खड़े नहीं रहने पाएंगे जो वह संसार और प्रभु के लोगों पर लाएगा। यह बात कोई अंदाज़ा, किसी मनुष्य का विचार नहीं है; वरन यह एक स्थापित, कड़वा किन्तु अटल तथ्य है - स्वयं प्रभु यीशु ने यह कहा है, और उसकी कही हुई कोई भी बात कभी भी टलती या बदलती नहीं है। वो लोग इतने कमज़ोर और धोखा खाने तथा देने वाले क्यों होंगे? इसका उत्तर हम अपनी उपरोक्त चर्चा के आधार पर समझ सकते हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने कभी उनसे बारंबार किए गए आग्रह पर, कि उनके छुटकारे के लिए बलिदान हुए मेमने को “खा” लें, कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया; अर्थात, उन्होंने कभी परमेश्वर के वचन, बाइबल, को गंभीरता से पढ़ने और उसका पालन करने के महत्व पर ध्यान नहीं दिया। प्रभु भोज में अपने समुदाय या डिनॉमिनेशन की रीतियों के अनुसार पारंपरिक रीति से भाग ले लेने से व्यक्ति प्रभु में स्थापित तथा बढ़ता नहीं है; यह केवल मेमने को “खा लेने” के द्वारा, अर्थात परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रयास के साथ गंभीरता से अध्ययन करने और फिर हर कीमत पर उसका पालन करने के द्वारा ही होता है। जो ऐसा करते हैं वे “रात” में भी प्रभु में स्थापित और दृढ़ रहते हैं, और अन्ततः पीछे हटकर गिर जाने की बजाए छुटकारा भी पा लेते हैं।

        ये सभी बातें स्पष्ट दिखाती हैं कि प्रभु भोज में भाग लेना उनके लिए नहीं है जो इसे एक धार्मिक रीति या औपचारिकता के समान लेते हैं, किन्तु उनके लिए है जिन्होंने स्वेच्छा से प्रभु के योग्य जीवन बिताने उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में चलने का निर्णय लिया है, और इसके लिए कीमत चुकाने के लिए भी तैयार है। अगले लेख में हम निर्गमन 12 में से यहीं से आगे देखेंगे। यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु में एक नई सृष्टि बन गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप कलीसिया में विभाजनों और गुटों में बांटने में नहीं किन्तु एकता के साथ रहने में प्रयासरत रहते हैं कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु की मेज़ में उसी प्रकार से भाग ले रहे हैं जैसे परमेश्वर ने निर्देश दिये हैं, प्रभु के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ, बड़ी गंभीरता से मेज़ के महत्व पर मनन करते हुए; या फिर आप किसी डिनॉमिनेशन की परंपरा अथवा किसी के  मनमाने विचारों के अनुसार भाग ले रहे हैं? अपने आप को जांच कर देखें कि क्या आप प्रभु के सामने खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देने के लिए तैयार हैं कि नहीं? आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा निरंतर परिपक्वता में बढ़ते जाएं। साथ ही सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

        यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Exodus 12:8-10 (3) - The Lord’s Table & Personal Bible Study

 

       Since people of God have lost interest in studying and obeying God’s Word, instead, have become content and satisfied with listening to and obeying man’s teachings, without evaluating and verifying them from God’s Word, therefore Satan has been able to bring in his misinterpretations, wrong teachings, and false doctrines about God’s instructions and His Word, amongst God’s people and the Church. These unBiblical, false, erroneous, devious, satanic teachings have become very firmly established in Christendom, and generally speaking, people like to persist in them, rather than verify them from God’s Word and correct themselves. One of these wrong teachings, related to the subject of our study - The Holy Communion, is that people can participate in it in any manner, as per the practices of their sect or denomination, and it will be acceptable to God. Another is that participating in the Hoy Communion, or the Lord’s Table, makes them righteous, acceptable to God, and worthy of gaining entrance into heaven. But God’s Word, the Bible has no support or affirmation for either of these notions, as we have seen in the earlier articles; all of these are satanic doctrines mixed into the teachings of God’s Word and served to the gullible people.

        We have been studying this subject of the Holy Communion or the Lord’s Table through its antecedent in the Old Testament, the Passover. God’s instructions and regulations regarding the Passover are given in Exodus 12, and in His Law, which He gave through Moses. We are presently studying from Exodus 12, and have reached verse 8-10. These verses have a lot of symbolisms and meanings that apply to the Lord Jesus, participating in the Lord’s Table, and Christian Living, that we have seen and studied in the recent articles. In the previous article, we have dwelt at length on the “eating” of the sacrificed lamb, and correlated it with the Lord’s instructions to “eat and drink” his body and blood, and seen that it signifies studying the Lord’s Word diligently, seriously, and obeying it. Today we will continue to dwell further on the symbolisms in these verses and learn from them about participating in the Holy Communion.

        Verse 8 says that the flesh of the sacrificed lamb had to be eaten on that night by the Israelites. In God’s Word, “night” or “darkness” are symbols of pervading sin and of satanic forces at work (Romans 13:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:5); in heaven there will be no night (Revelation 21:25; 22:5); night is also a symbol of the time when no one will be able to work for the Lord (John 9:4). One of the signs of the end times, given by the Lord was that His people will be severely persecuted, false teachers and teachings will abound, and many will fall away (Matthew 24:9-12). The prevailing and continually worsening world conditions, the increasing targeting and persecution of Christians, the worsening obstacles to preaching the Gospel and accepting the Lord Jesus as Savior, are all indicative that we are living in this period of the night; the period in which working for the Lord is becoming increasingly difficult. The Israelites, waiting for their deliverance, on the Passover night were to eat the sacrificed lamb, as they waited for the call to leave Egypt. As we have seen in the previous article, for the Christian Believers, this is an indicator of immersing themselves in the study of God’s Word, unperturbed by what is happening outside in the world. Colossians 3:16 affirms this for us, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”; and James 1:21 tells us why, “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” Recall, in Matthew 24:12, the Lord has said that due to the prevailing world conditions, the abounding lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. But those who are firmly established in God’s Word, believe in it irrespective of what the world says and shows, obey it, will remain firm in their faith, waiting for their deliverance.

        What can we learn for our study on participating in the Holy Communion from this? As we have already seen and considered in the previous article, the Lord’s Table is for those who honor, study and obey God’s Word. In this time of prevailing sin and overwhelming activities of satanic forces, to remain firm in our faith and not succumb to the wiles of the devil, we need to be firmly established in God’s Word. The Lord Jesus has said about the signs of the end times that “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matthew 24:10), and “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). Who will these people be? They will be the ones who will be weak in their faith, not firmly established in God’s Word, and therefore they will not be able to stand up to the devious devices the devil will unleash against the people of God. This is not speculation, not mere conjecture; it is an established, hard and bitter fact - the Lord Jesus Himself has said it, and what He has said will never fail. And, why will they be so weak and fallible? We can deduce the answer from our discussion above, because they never paid serious heed to the repeated pleas of “eating” the lamb sacrificed for their deliverance; they never bothered to seriously study and obey the Bible - the Word of God. It is not a ritualistic participation in the Holy Communion, as per the practices of one’s sect and denomination, that makes a person grow and be strongly rooted in the Lord; it is only by “eating” the lamb, i.e., by seriously and diligently studying the Word of God and then obeying it at all costs, that one can remain firm and established in the Lord, even in the “night”, and eventually be delivered, instead of falling away.

        All these things show that participating in the Holy Communion is not for those who take it as a religious ritual or formality to be carried out perfunctorily, but is for those who willingly have chosen to live worthy of the Lord, in obedience to His Word, and are willing to pay the price for doing so. In the next article we will carry on from here and see more from these verses, Exodus 12:8-10. If you are a Christian Believer, and have been participating in the Lord’s Table, then please examine your life and make sure that you are actually redeemed from your sins, have submitted and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus to live in obedience to Him and His Word, are a new creation for the Lord. That you strive for unity, not divisions and factionalism in the Church, and have been participating as the Lord has instructed to be done, participating with full allegiance to the Lord, in all seriousness, and pondering over its significance; instead of doing it in any presumptive manner, or simply as a denominational ritual; and are you ready and prepared to stand before the Lord and answer for your life? It is also necessary for you to be spiritually mature, learn the right teachings of God’s Word. You should also always, like the Berean Believers first check and test all teachings you receive from the Word of God, and only after ascertaining the truth and veracity of the teachings brought to you by men, should you accept and obey them (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

        If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

    जब मसीही विश्वास का आधार परमेश्वर का वचन, बाइबल नहीं, परंतु मनुष्यों द्वारा किया गया प्रचार दी गई शिक्षाएं होता है, चाहे यह परमेश्वर के नाम में, और बाइबल की बातों पर आधारित कर के दिया जाए, तब हमेशा ही जाने-अनजाने में कोई त्रुटि आ जाने, और उस त्रुटि के समय के साथ बढ़ते जाने की संभावना बनी रहती है। इसीलिए बाइबल में बेरिया के मसीही विश्वासियों की प्रशंसा और सराहना की गई है, क्योंकि उन्होंने पौलुस द्वारा किए गए प्रचार और दी गई शिक्षाओं की पहले पवित्र शास्त्र से पुष्टि की, और तब ही स्वीकार किया, पालन किया (प्रेरितों 17:11)। किन्तु परमेश्वर के वचन में दिए गए इन अनुसरण के योग्य उदाहरण को नज़रन्दाज़ करते हुए, आज लोग उसी से संतुष्ट हैं, उसे ही स्वीकार करने को तैयार रहते हैं, जो मनुष्यों द्वारा उन्हें पुल्पिट पर से बताया और सिखाया जाता है; बिना उसे वचन से जाँचे, वचन से उसकी पुष्टि करे, उसे स्वीकार कर लेते हैं। परिणाम स्वरूप शैतान ने ईसाई या मसीही समाज को अपनी गलत शिक्षाओं, झूठे सिद्धांतों, और परमेश्वर के वचन की हर बात के लिए शैतानी, गलत व्याख्याओं से भर दिया है। हमारे अध्ययन के विषय, प्रभु भोज के बारे में भी उसने दो बहुत गलत बातें घुसा और बैठा दी हैं, जिनके परिणाम अनन्तकाल का विनाश हैं। इन दो बातों में पहली है कि लोग प्रभु की मेज़ में चाहे जिस रीति से भाग ले सकते हैं, परमेश्वर के वचन में दी गई विधि के अनुसार भाग लेना आवश्यक नहीं है, विभिन्न समुदायों और डिनॉमिनेशंस में मनुष्यों के द्वारा बनाई गई रीतियाँ और विधियाँ भी परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य हैं; और दूसरी है कि प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने से व्यक्ति धर्मी, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में प्रवेश के लिए योग्य बन जाता है। ये दोनों ही परमेश्वर के वचन की शिक्षाओं के बहुत ही गलत और विकृत शैतानी रूप हैं, बाइबल के आधार पर बिल्कुल गलत हैं। लेकिन फिर भी परमेश्वर की बात मानने और बाइबल से सही बात को सीखने, तथा अपने आप को सुधारने की बजाए, लोगों की मनसा अपने ही धार्मिक-अगुवों की सुनने और मानने और उन्हें प्रसन्न रखने की रहती है; बिना इस बात का एहसास किए कि परमेश्वर के वचन को सीखने और पालन करने के द्वारा परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करने वाले होने के स्थान पर मनुष्यों की शिक्षाओं का पालन करके मनुष्यों को प्रसन्न करने वाले होने के द्वारा वे अनंत विनाश के मार्ग पर अग्रसर हैं।

   

प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं और धारणाओं को दूर करने के उद्देश्य से हम इस विषय का बाइबल से, इसके प्ररूप, फसह के आधार पर, जिसे मनाते समय प्रभु यीशु ने प्रभु भोज की स्थापना की थी, अध्ययन कर रहे हैं। फसह से संबंधित परमेश्वर के निर्देश और आज्ञाएँ निर्गमन 12 तथा परमेश्वर द्वारा मूसा में होकर दी गई व्यवस्था में मिलती हैं, और इनके द्वारा हम प्रभु की मेज़ में योग्य रीति से भाग लेने से संबंधित बहुत सी बातें सीख सकते हैं। वर्तमान में हम यह अध्ययन निर्गमन 12 से कर रहे हैं, और पिछले तीन लेखों में हमने निर्गमन 12:8-10 में दिए गए प्रतीकों और चिह्नों से सीखा है। आज भी हम इन्हीं पदों का प्रयोग अपने विषय से संबंधित आगे की बातों को सीखने के लिए करेंगे, विशेषकर इन पदों में दिए गए प्रतीकों और चिह्नों के द्वारा हम प्रभु यीशु मसीह द्वारा सही गई यातनाओं और क्रूस की पीड़ाओं को देखेंगे।

निर्गमन 12:9 हमें बताता है कि बलि किए जाने के बाद फसह के मेमने को सीधे आग पर पकाना था; उसे न तो कच्चा खाना था, न उसे उबाल कर पकाना था; और साथ ही उसे संपूर्णतः आग पर पकाना था, आग पर पकाने से पहले उसके किसी भी भाग को न तो निकालना था और न फेंकना था। उस समय की इस्राएलियों की परिस्थिति के अनुसार, यह उनके शीघ्रता से, अल्प-कालीन सूचना पर, कूच करने के लिए तैयार रहने के साथ मेल खाता था। किन्तु यह उन दुखों और पीड़ाओं, न केवल शारीरिक पर आत्मिक भी, का भी सूचक है जिन्हें प्रभु को सहना था। सीधे आग पर पकाए या भूने जाने का अर्थ है उस मेमने को, यद्यपि वह मरा हुआ था, आग की गर्मी को, उसकी लपटों की जलन को सीधे अपनी देह पर झेलना। यह इस बात का प्रतीक था कि प्रभु यीशु को परमेश्वर के प्रकोप की ज्वाला, उसकी गर्मी को अपने शरीर पर झेलना था, जीवित होते हुए, और बुरी तरह से प्रताड़ित किए गए घायल शरीर और घावों के साथ।

उसे न तो कच्चा खा सकते थे, और न ही उबाल कर पका सकते थे। कच्चा खाने का तात्पर्य होता कि प्रभु यीशु का अपने प्राण बलिदान कर देना भर ही पर्याप्त होता। किन्तु यह अपूर्ण बलिदान होता क्योंकि तब प्रभु ने परमेश्वर के उस प्रकोप को सहन नहीं किया होता, जिसे हम करते, यदि मसीह ने हमें छुड़ाया नहीं होता। इसलिए न केवल प्रभु की मृत्यु अनिवार्य थी, साथ ही उसे पाप के प्रति परमेश्वर की पूर्ण प्रकोप की ज्वाला को भी झेलना था। इसी कारण से मेमने को उबाल कर भी नहीं पकाया जा सकता था, क्योंकि उसका अर्थ होता उस अग्नि की गर्मी को कुछ कम सहन करना। किन्तु हमारे पापों के दण्ड को हमारे स्थान पर सहन करने वाले, हमारे प्रायश्चित को पूरा करने वाले को ठीक उसी प्रकार से दण्ड को सहना था जैसे हमें सहना पड़ता, यदि हम पापों से छुड़ाए नहीं गए होते।

एक आम धारणा है कि जब प्रभु यीशु गतसमनी के बाग में उसके क्रूस पर चढ़ाए जाने के लिए प्रार्थना में जूझ रहा था (मत्ती 26:36-46), तो वह उन आने वाली ताड़नाओं और यातनाओं के कारण विचलित हो रहा था। किन्तु उन्हें उस आने वाली शारीरिक पीड़ा की परवाह नहीं थी। याद कीजिए कि प्रभु क्रूस पर चढ़ाया जाने वाला पहला व्यक्ति नहीं था; उससे पहले भी कई लोग क्रूस पर मारे गए थे, और उसके साथ भी दो और डाकू क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गए थे। सभी को क्रूस पर ठोके जाने से पहले उसी ताड़ना और यातना से होकर निकालना पड़ता था जो प्रभु यीशु को सहनी पड़ी। इसलिए यह सोचना कि प्रभु यीशु क्रूस पर चढ़ाए जाने से संबंधित शारीरिक पीड़ा को लेकर विचलित था, जिसे उससे पहले और उसके साथ भी अन्य मनुष्यों ने सहन किया, उसके दुखों और पीड़ाओं को बहुत कम करके आँकलन करना है।

 

उसका विचलित होना पूर्णतः भिन्न कारण से था। प्रभु यीशु के विषय हम 2 कुरिन्थियों 5:21 में लिखा पाते हैं कि “जो पाप से अज्ञात था, उसी को उसने हमारे लिये पाप ठहराया, कि हम उस में हो कर परमेश्वर की धामिर्कता बन जाएं।” समस्त मानव जाति के सभी पापों को अपने ऊपर लेने में परमेश्वर का सिद्ध, निष्पाप, निष्कलंक पुत्र स्वयं पाप बन गया - उसने केवल पाप के बोझ को उठा ही नहीं लिया, उस पाप से उसका शरीर केवल ढाँपा ही नहीं गया, अपितु, उसकी सिद्ध, निष्पाप देह ही पाप बन गई, वह साकार पाप बन गया। प्रभु यीशु मसीह के लिए इसका क्या अर्थ और उस दशा का उसका अनुभव कैसा दुखदायी रहा होगा, यह हमारी मानवीय समझ और कल्पना से बाहर की बात है। तुलनात्मक रीति से एक बहुत ही छोटे उदाहरण के द्वारा इसे समझने का प्रयास करें: आपको कैसा अनुभव होगा यदि गलती से मल और गंदगी से भरी नाली में आपका पैर पड़ जाए? इसमें तो केवल पैर ही गंदा हुआ है; यदि आप उस नाली में गिर जाएं और आपकी देह उस गंदगी से मलिन हो जाए, तो कैसी घिन्न आएगी, यह कितना विचलित करने वाला अनुभव होगा? प्रभु यीशु ने तो इससे भी कहीं अधिक अवर्णनीय सहा - वह जो निष्पाप था, जिसने कभी पाप को जाना ही नहीं, जिसके विचारों और भावनाओं में भी पाप नहीं था, वह पाप बन गया, उसका सारा शरीर, अन्दर-बाहर, साकार पाप बन गया। हम उसकी इस आत्मिक दशा की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकते हैं। और तब वह हुआ जिसकी कभी कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती थी - परमेश्वर जो पाप को देख भी नहीं सकता है (हबक्कूक 1:13), उस ने प्रभु यीशु से अपना मुँह मोड़ लिया, उसे त्याग दिया, और प्रभु यीशु उस अवर्णनीय, मानवीय समझ तथा कल्पना से भी परे वेदना के कारण चीत्कार कर उठा “...हे मेरे परमेश्वर, हे मेरे परमेश्वर, तू ने मुझे क्यों छोड़ दिया?” (मत्ती 27:46)। गतसमनी के बाग में प्रभु यीशु मसीह इस वेदना को लेकर विचलित हो रहा था; न कि उन शारीरिक पीड़ाओं को लेकर जो उस पर आने वाली थीं।

मेज़ को स्थापित करते समय प्रभु ने अपने शिष्यों से कहा “...मेरे स्मरण के लिये यही किया करो” (लूका 22:19; 1 कुरिन्थियों 11:24-25)। अब ध्यान करें कि शैतान ने किस प्रकार से प्रभु द्वारा हमारे पापों के प्रायश्चित और कीमत चुकाने की पीड़ा को, उसे सहन करने को, हमारे विचारों में कितना कम और हल्का बना दिया है। समुदाय या डिनॉमिनेशन की शिक्षाओं के अनुसार पारंपरिक रीति से मेज़ में भाग लेते समय सामान्यतः केवल प्रभु की शारीरिक पीड़ाओं को ही स्मरण किया जाता है, दोहराया जाता है। सभी लोग यह भूल जाते हैं कि प्रभु के अतिरिक्त भी अनेकों लोगों ने क्रूस पर चढ़ाए जाने की उस शारीरिक पीड़ा को सहा है। इसलिए यदि प्रभु ने भी केवल उन्हीं पीड़ाओं को सहा तो इसमें कोई विशेष या अद्भुत बात नहीं है। क्रूस की यह शारीरिक पीड़ा उस आत्मिक पीड़ा के सामने कुछ भी नहीं है जिसे हमारे छुटकारे और पाप क्षमा के लिये प्रभु को सहना पड़ा; लेकिन शैतान ने लोगों के मनों को ऐसा बहका दिया है, उनकी आँखों को ऐसा अंधा कर दिया है कि प्रभु भोज के इस पारंपरिक और औपचारिक निर्वाह के समय किसी को भी प्रभु यीशु की वास्तविक वेदना का कोई ध्यान भी नहीं रहता है। इस प्रकार से शैतान ने प्रभु भोज के मुख्य भाग, उसके मर्म - प्रभु की पीड़ाओं को स्मरण करना, को निकाल कर उसके स्थान पर एक खोखली, व्यर्थ, निरर्थक, परंपरा को डाल दिया है। और जान-बूझकर इसके सत्य के प्रति उदासीन बने रहने के बावजूद लोगों में यह गुस्ताखी, यह ढिठाई है कि वे इस व्यर्थ परंपरा के निर्वाह के द्वारा भी यही मानते हैं कि वे धर्मी, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में प्रवेश के योग्य हैं। प्रभु भोज, या प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेना उन्हीं के लिये है जो वास्तव में इस बात का ध्यान कर सकते हैं कि प्रभु ने उनके पापों से छुटकारे के लिए क्या कुछ सहा है, और उसकी तुलना में वे दुख जो उन्हें प्रभु के लिए उठाने पड़ते हैं, कितने थोड़े, हल्के, और नगण्य हैं; और उन दुखों में होकर भी हमारा प्रेमी स्वर्गीय पिता हमारे लिए अनन्तकाल की आशीषें ही प्रदान कर रहा है (2 कुरिन्थियों 4:17)।

   

ये सभी बातें स्पष्ट दिखाती हैं कि प्रभु भोज में भाग लेना उनके लिए नहीं है जो इसे एक धार्मिक रीति या औपचारिकता के समान लेते हैं, किन्तु उनके लिए है जिन्होंने स्वेच्छा से प्रभु के योग्य जीवन बिताने उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में चलने का निर्णय लिया है, और इसके लिए कीमत चुकाने के लिए भी तैयार है। अगले लेख में हम निर्गमन 12 में से यहीं से आगे देखेंगे। यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु में एक नई सृष्टि बन गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप कलीसिया में विभाजनों और गुटों में बांटने में नहीं किन्तु एकता के साथ रहने में प्रयासरत रहते हैं कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु की मेज़ में उसी प्रकार से भाग ले रहे हैं जैसे परमेश्वर ने निर्देश दिये हैं, प्रभु के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ, बड़ी गंभीरता से मेज़ के महत्व पर मनन करते हुए; या फिर आप किसी डिनॉमिनेशन की परंपरा अथवा किसी के  मनमाने विचारों के अनुसार भाग ले रहे हैं? अपने आप को जांच कर देखें कि क्या आप प्रभु के सामने खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देने के लिए तैयार हैं कि नहीं? आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा निरंतर परिपक्वता में बढ़ते जाएं। साथ ही सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

  

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Exodus 12:8-10 (4) - The Lord’s Table & The Sufferings of Christ  

When the basis of Christian Faith is not God’s Word, the Bible, but the teachings and preaching by men, even if they are in the name of God, and supposedly based on Biblical concepts, there is always room for inadvertent error, which can get compounded with time. That is why in the Bible, the Christian Believers of Berea have been commended, because they did not accept Paul’s preaching and message until they had verified it from the Scriptures (Acts 17:11). But unlike this worthy of emulation example in God’s Word, people are quite content with listening and accepting whatever is told to them from the pulpit, without bothering to cross-check and verify it from the Bible before accepting it. Consequently, Satan has been able to fill Christendom with his wrong teachings, false doctrines, devious misinterpretations of God’s Word about everything that the Bible has to say. About our topic of study, the Holy Communion, he has infiltrated and firmly established two grossly erroneous teachings, whose consequences are eternally disastrous. These two teachings are, firstly, people can participate in the Lord’s Table in any manner, not necessarily as per the instructions given in God’s Word, but as per the man-made practices of their sects and denomination, and it will all be acceptable to God; and the second is that partaking of the Lord’s Table makes the person righteous, acceptable to God, and worthy of entry into heaven. Both are serious satanic perversions of God’s Word and instructions, absolutely wrong on the basis of the Bible. Yet, instead of obeying God, learning the truth from the Bible, and correcting themselves, people are more interested and concerned about obeying their religious leaders and pleasing them; not realizing that they are headed to eternal destruction because of being not God-pleasers and learners of God’s Word, but men-pleasers and followers of teachings of men.

 

To dispel the wrong teachings about partaking of the Holy Communion, we have been studying this subject from the Bible, presently through its antecedent, the Passover, through which the Lord Jesus established the Holy Communion. God’s instructions and teachings about the Passover are given in Exodus 12 and in the Law, given by God through Moses; and they teach us many things about worthily participating in the Lord’s Table. Presently we have been doing this study from Exodus 12, and for the past three articles, we have been studying through the symbolisms and things given in Exodus 12:8-10. Today too, we will use the same verses to learn further the things related to our topic, especially about the sufferings of Christ in undergoing crucifixion, through the symbolisms in these verses.

Exodus 12:9 tell us that after being sacrificed, the Passover lamb was to be cooked directly on the fire; it was not to be eaten raw, nor was to be boiled. Also, it was to be cooked whole, no part of it was to be removed and discarded before roasting it on fire. While, in context of the prevailing situation for the Israelites at that time, this was consistent with their being ready and prepared to depart hurriedly, at a moment’s notice; but it also symbolizes the suffering and agony the Lord had to undergo, not just physical, but spiritual as well. Roasting directly on the fire meant the lamb, though dead, had to have the heat, the flames directly burn its body. Symbolizing that the Lord Jesus had to suffer the full heat of God’s wrath while still alive, and that too after having been subjected to severe torture and flogging before that.

 

It could not be eaten raw, nor boiled. Eating raw would have implied that for the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, just giving up His life would have sufficed. But that would have been an incomplete sacrifice, since then He would not have suffered the wrath of God for our sins; wrath which we would have to suffer, if we had not been redeemed by Christ. So, not only was His death necessary, but He also had to suffer the excruciating heat of God’s wrath for sin in its full intensity. For similar reasons, the sacrificial lamb could not be boiled and cooked, since that would have meant softening the heat to an extent. Whereas our sin-substitute, the Lord Jesus had to suffer it exactly as we would have, if we were punished for our sins, to complete the atonement.

A common thinking is that when the Lord Jesus was agonizing in prayer about His coming crucifixion in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46), it was because of the severe physical tortures that awaited Him. But that physical suffering was the least of His problems. Remember, He was not the first one to be crucified; many had been crucified prior to Him, and two others were crucified along with Him, in just the same manner. To think and presume that the Lord Jesus was agonizing because of the physical pain of the torture that He would have to endure, is to belittle His sufferings, since many other men before and after Him endured the just the same treatment before their crucifixion.

His agonizing was for an altogether different reason. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” In taking the sins of all of mankind upon Himself, the sinless, spotless, perfect Son of God became sin - not just took it as a heavy load upon himself, or was covered on the outside with sin; but His perfect, sinless body was turned into sin, He became a personification of sin. It is beyond our human comprehension to even imagine what this would have meant for the Lord, and how He would have felt in that state. To get a miniscule idea, imagine how you feel if you accidentally happen to put your foot into a roadside drain of human waste and filth; and that is just your foot getting soiled; what if you were to fall into that drain, and your whole body got soiled, what kind of an abhorrent feeling would you have? The Lord Jesus suffered indescribably worse and more than that - He who had never known sin, not even in His thoughts or feelings, became sin - His whole body, in-toto, became sin. I don’t think we can even imagine His state at that time. Then this was compounded by the fact that when He became sin, the unimaginable happened - God who cannot look at sin (Habakkuk 1:13), turned away from Him, forsook Him, and the Lord Jesus cried out in a plea of indescribable and humanly unimaginable agony “...My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46). This is what He was agonizing about in the Garden of Gethsemane; and not the physical suffering that was coming His way.

In establishing the Table, the Lord said to His disciples “...do this in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25). Consider how Satan has belittled the price the Lord had to pay and the suffering He had to endure to atone for our sins and provide the way of Salvation - very often in the denominational ritualistic manner of partaking in the Lord’s Table, only His physical sufferings are recalled and remembered. Everybody forgets that the similar agony of similar crucifixions had been endured by innumerable other people as well. Therefore, there is nothing extra-ordinary and unique if the Lord Jesus too suffered the same. This physical agony is nothing compared to the spiritual agony He had to undergo for our redemption, but Satan has so beguiled people’s minds and blinded their eyes that in this ritualistic, perfunctory observance of the Holy Communion, nobody bothers to remember and recall the actual agony of the Lord, and they miss out the crucial part of the observance of the Holy Communion, taking away the very heart of the matter, leaving behind an empty, vain ritual. And then people have the temerity, the gall to think they have become righteous, acceptable to God, and worthy of being given entry into heaven because of being a part of this vain inconsequential ritual! The Lord’s Table, the Holy Communion is for those who can actually think about how much the Lord has suffered to redeem them, and how miniscule, how negligible are the troubles they have been called to bear for the sake of the Lord, and even through them, our Heavenly Father is only blessing us with eternal benefits (2 Corinthians 4:17).

All these things show that participating in the Holy Communion is not for those who take it as a religious ritual or formality to be carried out perfunctorily, but is for those who willingly have chosen to live worthy of the Lord, in obedience to His Word, and are willing to pay the price for doing so. If you do not do this, the false apostles and prophets sent by Satan as ministers of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), will by their trickery, cunningness, and craftiness render you ineffective for the Lord and cause severe damage to your Christian life and your rewards.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then to ensure your eternal life and heavenly rewards, take a decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now. Wherever there is surrender and obedience towards the Lord Jesus, the Lord’s blessings and safety are also there. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.

क्योंकि परमेश्वर के लोगों में परमेश्वर के वचन को पढ़ने और उसका पालन करने का चाव नहीं रहा है, बल्कि वे मनुष्यों द्वारा दी जा रही शिक्षाओं को सुनने और बिना उन्हें जाँचे तथा वचन से उनकी पुष्टि करे ही मानने से ही संतुष्ट रहते हैं, इसीलिए शैतान परमेश्वर के वचन और निर्देशों के बारे में बहुत सी गलत व्याख्याएँ एवं अर्थ, गलत शिक्षाएं और मिथ्या सिद्धांतों को परमेश्वर के लोगों तथा कलीसिया में ले आने पाया है। शैतान की इन बाइबल के विपरीत, झूठी, त्रुटिपूर्ण, दुष्ट शिक्षाओं ने ईसाई समाज या मसीहियत में बहुत गहरी जड़ पकड़ ली है, और सामान्यतः लोग उन्हीं में बने रहना भी चाहते हैं, न कि यह कि परमेश्वर के वचन से उन्हें जाँचे और उनकी पुष्टि करें, तथा अपने आप को सुधारें। हमारे इस अध्ययन, प्रभु भोज में भाग लेने, से संबंधित इन गलत शिक्षाओं में से एक है कि हम किसी भी प्रकार से, अपने समुदाय या डिनॉमिनेशन की रीति के अनुसार, इसमें भाग ले सकते हैं, उससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है और सभी परमेश्वर को मान्य है। दूसरी गलत शिक्षा है कि प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने से लोग धर्मी, परमेश्वर को स्वीकार्य, और स्वर्ग में प्रवेश के लिये योग्य हो जाते हैं। किन्तु, जैसा कि हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं, परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में इन धारणाओं का कोई समर्थन, कोई पुष्टि नहीं है; ये सभी शैतान द्वारा परमेश्वर के वचन में मिलावट करने के द्वारा लाई तथा परोसी गई बातें हैं।

पद 8 कहता है कि इस्राएलियों को बलि किए हुए मेमने को उसी रात में खाना था। परमेश्वर के वचन में “रात” और “अंधकार” पाप के व्याप्त होने तथा शैतानी ताकतों के कार्यरत होने के प्रतीक हैं (रोमियों 13:12; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:5), स्वर्ग में कोई रात नहीं होगी (प्रकाशितवाक्य 21:25; 22:5); ये ऐसे समय के भी चिह्न हैं जब कोई भी प्रभु के लिए कार्य नहीं करने पाएगा (यूहन्ना 9:4)। प्रभु द्वारा दिए गए अंत के दिनों के चिह्नों में से एक है कि उसके लोग घोर सताव में से होकर निकलेंगे, झूठे शिक्षक और झूठी शिक्षाओं का बोल-बाला होगा, और बहुत से लोग ठोकर खाकर पीछे हट जाएंगे (मत्ती 24:9-12)। वर्तमान में संसार भर की परिस्थितियाँ एवं गतिविधियाँ, उनका निरंतर और भी बिगड़ते ही चले जाना, मसीही विश्वासियों को अधिकाधिक निशाना बनाया तथा प्रताड़ित किये जाना, सुसमाचार प्रचार तथा प्रभु को उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार करने में बढ़ती हुए बाधाएँ, सभी इस बात को दिखाते हैं कि हम इस “रात” के समय में जी रहे हैं; जिसमें प्रभु के लिए कार्य करना और भी अधिक कठिन होता चला जा रहा है। इस्राएलियों को उस रात में, मिस्र से निकाल जाने की पुकार की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए, बलि किए हुए मेमने को खाना था। जैसा हमने पिछले लेख में देखा है, यह मसीही विश्वासियों के लिए इस बात का प्रतीक है कि उन्हें अपने आप को परमेश्वर के वचन के अध्ययन में लौलीन कर लेना है, बिना इस बात की परवाह किए कि बाहर संसार में क्या हो रहा है। हमारे लिए कुलुस्सियों 3:16 इस बात की पुष्टि करता है, “मसीह के वचन को अपने हृदय में अधिकाई से बसने दो; और सिद्ध ज्ञान सहित एक दूसरे को सिखाओ, और चिताओ, और अपने अपने मन में अनुग्रह के साथ परमेश्वर के लिये भजन और स्‍तुतिगान और आत्मिक गीत गाओ”; और याकूब 1:21 हमें बताता है कि ऐसा क्यों करना है, “इसलिये सारी मलिनता और बैर भाव की बढ़ती को दूर कर के, उस वचन को नम्रता से ग्रहण कर लो, जो हृदय में बोया गया और जो तुम्हारे प्राणों का उद्धार कर सकता है।” स्मरण कीजिए कि मत्ती 24:12 में प्रभु ने कहा है कि संसार के हालात, और बढ़ते हुए अधर्म के कारण बहुतेरों का प्रेम ठंडा पड़ जाएगा। किन्तु जो परमेश्वर के वचन में दृढ़ता से स्थापित होंगे, संसार चाहे जो भी दिखाता और सिखाता रहे, वे वचन में ही विश्वास रखेंगे और उसी का पालन करेंगे, ऐसे लोग ही अपने छुटकारे की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए अपने विश्वास में दृढ़ बने रहेंगे।

 

इन बातों से हम अपने अध्ययन, प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेने के बारे में क्या सीखते हैं? जैसा कि हम पिछले लेख में देख और विचार कर चुके हैं, प्रभु की मेज़ उनके लिए है जो परमेश्वर के वचन का आदर करते हैं, उसका अध्ययन और पालन करते हैं। पाप के बड़ी गहराई से हर ओर, हर बात में व्याप्त होने और शैतानी शक्तियों के अभिभूत कर देने वाले कार्यों के इस समय में, अपने विश्वास में दृढ़ बने रहने, तथा शैतान की युक्तियों द्वारा बहकाए जाने से बचे रहने के लिए हमें परमेश्वर के वचन में दृढ़ता से स्थापित रहना है। प्रभु यीशु ने अंत के दिनों के चिह्नों में कहा है “तब बहुतेरे ठोकर खाएंगे, और एक दूसरे से बैर रखेंगे” (मत्ती 24:10), तथा, “और अधर्म के बढ़ने से बहुतों का प्रेम ठण्‍डा हो जाएगा” (मत्ती 24:12)। ये लोग कौन होंगे? ये वे लोग होंगे जो अपने विश्वास में कमजोर हैं, इसलिए वे शैतान की उन दुष्ट योजनाओं के सामने खड़े नहीं रहने पाएंगे जो वह संसार और प्रभु के लोगों पर लाएगा। यह बात कोई अंदाज़ा, किसी मनुष्य का विचार नहीं है; वरन यह एक स्थापित, कड़वा किन्तु अटल तथ्य है - स्वयं प्रभु यीशु ने यह कहा है, और उसकी कही हुई कोई भी बात कभी भी टलती या बदलती नहीं है। वो लोग इतने कमज़ोर और धोखा खाने तथा देने वाले क्यों होंगे? इसका उत्तर हम अपनी उपरोक्त चर्चा के आधार पर समझ सकते हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने कभी उनसे बारंबार किए गए आग्रह पर, कि उनके छुटकारे के लिए बलिदान हुए मेमने को “खा” लें, कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया; अर्थात, उन्होंने कभी परमेश्वर के वचन, बाइबल, को गंभीरता से पढ़ने और उसका पालन करने के महत्व पर ध्यान नहीं दिया। प्रभु भोज में अपने समुदाय या डिनॉमिनेशन की रीतियों के अनुसार पारंपरिक रीति से भाग ले लेने से व्यक्ति प्रभु में स्थापित तथा बढ़ता नहीं है; यह केवल मेमने को “खा लेने” के द्वारा, अर्थात परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रयास के साथ गंभीरता से अध्ययन करने और फिर हर कीमत पर उसका पालन करने के द्वारा ही होता है। जो ऐसा करते हैं वे “रात” में भी प्रभु में स्थापित और दृढ़ रहते हैं, और अन्ततः पीछे हटकर गिर जाने की बजाए छुटकारा भी पा लेते हैं।

  

ये सभी बातें स्पष्ट दिखाती हैं कि प्रभु भोज में भाग लेना उनके लिए नहीं है जो इसे एक धार्मिक रीति या औपचारिकता के समान लेते हैं, किन्तु उनके लिए है जिन्होंने स्वेच्छा से प्रभु के योग्य जीवन बिताने उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में चलने का निर्णय लिया है, और इसके लिए कीमत चुकाने के लिए भी तैयार है। अगले लेख में हम निर्गमन 12 में से यहीं से आगे देखेंगे। यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, और प्रभु की मेज़ में भाग लेते रहे हैं, तो कृपया अपने जीवन को जाँच कर देख लें कि आप वास्तव में पापों से छुड़ाए गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप ने अपना जीवन प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता में जीने के लिए उस को समर्पित किया है कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु में एक नई सृष्टि बन गए हैं कि नहीं? क्या आप कलीसिया में विभाजनों और गुटों में बांटने में नहीं किन्तु एकता के साथ रहने में प्रयासरत रहते हैं कि नहीं? तथा क्या आप प्रभु की मेज़ में उसी प्रकार से भाग ले रहे हैं जैसे परमेश्वर ने निर्देश दिये हैं, प्रभु के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ, बड़ी गंभीरता से मेज़ के महत्व पर मनन करते हुए; या फिर आप किसी डिनॉमिनेशन की परंपरा अथवा किसी के  मनमाने विचारों के अनुसार भाग ले रहे हैं? अपने आप को जांच कर देखें कि क्या आप प्रभु के सामने खड़े होकर अपने जीवन का हिसाब देने के लिए तैयार हैं कि नहीं? आपके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि आप परमेश्वर के वचन की सही शिक्षाओं को जानने के द्वारा एक परिपक्व विश्वासी बनें, तथा निरंतर परिपक्वता में बढ़ते जाएं। साथ ही सभी शिक्षाओं को वचन की कसौटी पर परखने, और बेरिया के विश्वासियों के समान, लोगों की बातों को पहले वचन से जाँचने और उनकी सत्यता को निश्चित करने के बाद ही उनको स्वीकार करने और मानने वाले बनें (प्रेरितों 17:11; 1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 5:21)। अन्यथा शैतान द्वारा छोड़े हुए झूठे प्रेरित और भविष्यद्वक्ता मसीह के सेवक बन कर (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15) अपनी ठग विद्या और चतुराई से आपको प्रभु के लिए अप्रभावी कर देंगे और आप के मसीही जीवन एवं आशीषों का नाश कर देंगे।

  

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Exodus 12:8-10 (3) - The Lord’s Table & Personal Bible Study

Since people of God have lost interest in studying and obeying God’s Word, instead, have become content and satisfied with listening to and obeying man’s teachings, without evaluating and verifying them from God’s Word, therefore Satan has been able to bring in his misinterpretations, wrong teachings, and false doctrines about God’s instructions and His Word, amongst God’s people and the Church. These unBiblical, false, erroneous, devious, satanic teachings have become very firmly established in Christendom, and generally speaking, people like to persist in them, than verify them from God’s Word and correct themselves. One of these wrong teachings, related to the subject of our study - The Holy Communion, is that they can participate in it in any manner, as per the practices of their sect or denomination, and it will be acceptable to God. Another is that participating in the Hoy Communion, or the Lord’s Table makes them righteous, acceptable to God, worthy of gaining entrance into heaven. But God’s Word, the Bible has no support or affirmation for either of these notions, as we have seen in the earlier articles; all of these are satanic doctrines mixed into the teachings of God’s Word and served to the gullible people.

We have been studying this subject of the Holy Communion or the Lord’s Table through its antecedent in the Old Testament, the Passover. God’s instructions and regulations regarding the Passover are given in Exodus 12, and in His Law, which He gave through Moses. We are presently studying from Exodus 12, and have reached verse 8-10. These verses have a lot of symbolisms and meanings that apply to the Lord Jesus, participating in the Lord’s Table, and Christian Living, that we have seen and studied in the recent articles. In the previous article, we have dwelt at length on the “eating” of the sacrificed lamb, and corelated it with the Lord’s instructions to “eat and drink” his body and blood, and seen that it signifies studying the Lord’s Word diligently, seriously, and obeying it. Today we will continue to dwell further on the symbolisms in these verses and learn from them about participating in the Holy Communion.

Verse 8 says that the flesh of the sacrificed lamb had to be eaten on that night by the Israelites. In God’s Word, “night” or “darkness” are symbols of pervading sin and satanic forces at work (Romans 13:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:5), in heaven there will be no night (Revelation 21:25; 22:5); it is also a symbol of the time when no one will be able to work for the Lord (John 9:4). One of the signs of the end times, given by the Lord was that His people will be severely persecuted, false teachers and teachings will abound, and many will fall away (Matthew 24:9-12). The prevailing and continually worsening world conditions, the increasing targeting and persecution of Christians, the worsening obstacles to preaching the Gospel and accepting the Lord Jesus as Savior, are all indicative that we are living in this period of the night; the period in which working for the Lord is becoming increasingly difficult. The Israelites, waiting for their deliverance, on the Passover night were to eat the sacrificed lamb, as they waited for the call to leave Egypt. As we have seen in the previous article, for the Christian Believers, this is an indicator of immersing ourselves in the study of God’s Word, unperturbed by what is happening outside in the world. Colossians 3:16 affirms this for us, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”; and James 1:21 tells us why, “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” Recall, in Matthew 24:12, the Lord has said that due to the prevailing world conditions, the abounding lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. But those who are firmly established in God’s Word, believe in it irrespective of what the world says and shows, obey it, will remain firm in their faith, waiting for their deliverance.

What can we learn for our study on participating in the Holy Communion from this? As we have already seen and considered in the previous article, the Lord’s Table is for those who honor, study and obey God’s Word. In this time of prevailing sin and overwhelming activities of satanic forces, to remain firm in our faith and not succumb to the wiles of the devil, we need to be firmly established in God’s Word. The Lord Jesus has said about the signs of the end times that “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matthew 24:10), and “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). Who will these people be? They will be the ones who will be weak in their faith, not firmly established in God’s Word, and therefore they will not be able to stand up to the devious devices the devil will unleash against the people of God. This is not speculation, not mere conjecture; it is an established, hard and bitter fact - the Lord Jesus Himself has said it, and what He has said will never fail. And, why will they be so weak and fallible? We can surmise the answer from our discussion above, because they never paid serious heed to the repeated pleas of “eating” the lamb sacrificed for their deliverance; they never bothered to seriously study and obey the Bible - the Word of God. It is not a ritualistic participation in the Holy Communion, as per the practices of one’s sect and denomination, that makes a person grow and be strongly rooted in the Lord; it is only by “eating” the lamb, i.e., by seriously and diligently studying the Word of God and then obeying it at all costs, that one can remain firm and established in the Lord, even in the “night”, and eventually be delivered, instead of falling away.
