बाइबल और भौतिक-विज्ञान - 4 - चिन्ह और अन्त  

    हम परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल और विज्ञान के सम्बन्ध को, बाइबल तथा जीव-विज्ञान विषय के अन्तर्गत पिछले कुछ लेखों से देखते चले आ रहे हैं। हमने देखा है कि न तो विज्ञान बाइबल और परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध है, और न ही परमेश्वर या बाइबल, विज्ञान के विरुद्ध हैं। वास्तव में विज्ञान तो केवल परमेश्वर की सृष्टि और उसकी कार्यविधि का अध्ययन करने, उसे समझने का एक साधन मात्र है। विज्ञान केवल तथ्य बताता है, जानकारी देता है। क्योंकि विज्ञान सृष्टि की केवल जानकारी उपलब्ध करवाता है, इसलिये विज्ञान सृष्टि के सृष्टिकर्ता के विरुद्ध कुछ उजागर अथवा प्रस्तुत कर ही नहीं सकता है। विज्ञान पर एक मिथ्या आरोप है कि विज्ञान ने परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकार दिया है। जिस प्रकार से किसी रची हुई वस्तु के बारे में सीख-समझ लेने से यह प्रमाणित नहीं हो जाता है कि उसका कोई रचनाकार नहीं था, उसी प्रकार से विज्ञान द्वारा सृष्टि के तथ्य प्रकट कर देने से यह प्रमाणित नहीं होता है कि सृष्टि का कोई सृष्टिकर्ता नहीं है। बल्कि विज्ञान ने सृष्टि की अद्भुत बातों को प्रकट करने के द्वारा सृष्टिकर्ता की अद्भुत बुद्धि, सामर्थ्य, क्षमता, और कौशल के प्रमाण दिये हैं। 

विज्ञान द्वारा उजागर और प्रस्तुत किये गये तथ्यों का विश्लेषण करना और उनके आधार पर निष्कर्ष और धारणाएँ बनाना,  मनुष्यों - वैज्ञानिकों का कार्य है; और जैसे-जैसे नए तथ्य सामने आते चले जाते हैं, मनुष्यों - वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा दी गई व्याख्या, धारणा, और निष्कर्ष भी बदलते चले जाते हैं - उन में सुधार हो सकता है, या वे पूर्णतः बदले भी जा सकते हैं। इसलिये विज्ञान पर आधारित कोई भी बात कभी भी स्थिर और अटल नहीं हो सकती है; सदा परिवर्तनीय ही रहती है। इस संदर्भ में विज्ञान को लेकर दो बातों का ध्यान रखना अति आवश्यक है। पहली तो यह कि क्योंकि वैज्ञानिक भी मनुष्य ही हैं इसलिये, उन से अपनी व्याख्याओं और निष्कर्षों में गलतियाँ हो सकती हैं, व्याख्या करने से सम्बन्धित उनके अपने पूर्वाग्रह भी हो सकते हैं, और इसी लिये उनकी व्याख्या पक्षपाती भी हो सकती है; और यह भी एक जाना-माना तथ्य है कि कुछ वैज्ञानिकों ने अपनी ही धारणा को सही दिखाने के लिये स्वयं ही कुछ बातों को गढ़ा, और उन्हें “तथ्य” कहकर प्रस्तुत किया, जैसे की पिल्टडाउन मैन का धोखा। इन सभी बातों को, और इन से सम्बन्धित प्रमाणों को हम पिछले लेखों में देख चुके हैं। और दूसरी बात यह कि एक बहुत आम प्रयोग किया जाने वाला कथन है “विज्ञान कहता है…; विज्ञान बताता है…” आदि - किन्तु वास्तविकता यह है कि विज्ञान अपने आप से कभी कुछ नहीं कहता या बताता है; विज्ञान तो केवल तथ्य उजागर या प्रकट कर देता है। किन्तु उन तथ्यों के लेकर कुछ भी कहने या बताने का काम - वह कहा गया चाहे सही हो या गलत - हमेशा लोग - वैज्ञानिक ही करते हैं; और जैसा हमने अभी देखा है, आवश्यक नहीं है कि उनकी कही हर बात हमेशा सही ही हो, या सच ही हो। 

  हाल के कुछ पिछले लेखों से हमने परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में लिखी भौतिक विज्ञान से सम्बन्धित कुछ बातों को देखा है, जिन्हें हजारों वर्ष पहले, साधारण अवैज्ञानिक, साधारण और अशिक्षित अथवा कम शिक्षित लोगों के समझ में आने वाली, आलंकारिक लगने वाली भाषा में लिखा गया; ऐसी बातें जिन के बारे में उस समय के लोग अपने आप से कल्पना कर के कभी कुछ नहीं जान या समझ सकते थे। सबसे पहले हमने पानी के चक्र के बारे में देखा था, फिर हमने पृथ्वी और प्राणियों के प्रति परमेश्वर के दृष्टिकोण को देखा, और उसके बाद अन्त के समय में पृथ्वी को दूषित करके बर्बाद करने वालों और उनके न्याय की भविष्यवाणी के बारे में देखा। फिर पिछले लेख में हमने अय्यूब की पुस्तक में 4000 वर्ष पहले प्रकाश, तरंगों, और वायु से सम्बन्धित बातें देखीं, जिन्हें वैज्ञानिक अब पहचानने पाए हैं। आज हम अन्य बाइबल में अन्य स्थानों पर लिखी कुछ और बातों को देखेंगे। 

सृष्टि के आरम्भ, उत्पत्ति के समय से ही परमेश्वर ने आकाश की ज्योतियों और तारागणों को चिह्नों, दिन और रात, समय निर्धारण, दिनों और वर्षों के निर्धारण के लिए बनाया था, “फिर परमेश्वर ने कहा, दिन को रात से अलग करने के लिये आकाश के अन्तर में ज्योतियां हों; और वे चिन्हों, और नियत समयों, और दिनों, और वर्षों के कारण हों। और वे ज्योतियां आकाश के अन्तर में पृथ्वी पर प्रकाश देने वाली भी ठहरें; और वैसा ही हो गया। तब परमेश्वर ने दो बड़ी ज्योतियां बनाईं; उन में से बड़ी ज्योति को दिन पर प्रभुता करने के लिये, और छोटी ज्योति को रात पर प्रभुता करने के लिये बनाया: और तारागण को भी बनाया” (उत्पत्ति 1:14-16); और लगभग 2600 वर्ष पहले यिर्मयाह नबी मे लिखा “जिसने दिन को प्रकाश देने के लिये सूर्य को और रात को प्रकाश देने के लिये चन्द्रमा और तारागण के नियम ठहराए हैं, जो समुद्र को उछालता और उसकी लहरों को गरजाता है, और जिसका नाम सेनाओं का यहोवा है, वही यहोवा यों कहता है” (यिर्मयाह 31:35)। मनुष्य ने परमेश्वर के इस उद्देश्य को उसके लिखे जाने के हजारों वर्ष बाद पहचाना और उसका सही उपयोग किया। 

जगत के अंत और न्याय होने के लिए परमेश्वर के सम्मुख खड़े होने के समय की भविष्यवाणी करते समय प्रभु यीशु का शिष्य पतरस लिखता है, “परन्तु प्रभु का दिन चोर के समान आ जाएगा, उस दिन आकाश बड़ी हड़हड़ाहट के शब्द से जाता रहेगा, और तत्‍व बहुत ही तप्‍त हो कर पिघल जाएंगे, और पृथ्वी और उस पर के काम जल जाऐंगे। तो जब कि ये सब वस्तुएं, इस रीति से पिघलने वाली हैं, तो तुम्हें पवित्र चाल चलन और भक्ति में कैसे मनुष्य होना चाहिए। और परमेश्वर के उस दिन की बाट किस रीति से जोहना चाहिए और उसके जल्द आने के लिये कैसा यत्‍न करना चाहिए; जिस के कारण आकाश आग से पिघल जाएंगे, और आकाश के गण बहुत ही तप्‍त हो कर गल जाएंगे” (2 पतरस 3:10-12), जो परमाणु हथियारों के प्रयोग का सटीक वर्णन है, अंत के समय के लिए भविष्यवाणी है। आज से 2000 वर्ष पहले, जब ऐसे कोई हथियार या तरीके नहीं थे, जिनसे तत्व बहुत ही गर्म होकर पिघल जाएं, पृथ्वी और उस पर के काम जल जाएं, भयानक ध्वनि हो, आकाश की उपस्थिति दृष्टि से लुप्त हो जाए, तब इन बातों को बताना, जिन्हें आज हम परमाणु अस्त्रों के प्रयोग के परिणाम के रूप में जानते हैं, क्या किसी मानवीय बुद्धि की कल्पना से हो सकता है?

संसार के हालात, प्रकृति में होने वाली अप्रत्याशित, अभूतपूर्व विनाशकारी बातें, सभी 2000 वर्ष पहले प्रभु यीशु की भविष्यवाणियों (मत्ती 24 अध्याय) के अनुसार, प्रभु के दूसरे आगमन और जगत के अंत तथा सभी मनुष्यों न्याय के शीघ्र ही होने की ओर संकेत कर रही हैं। सारे संसार में प्रकृति और प्राकृतिक चक्र बहुत बिगड़ चुके हैं, विनाशकारी हो चुके हैं। इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है कि आज संसार परमाणु युद्ध की कगार पर खड़ा है। परमाणु अस्त्र रखने वाली शक्तियाँ एक-दूसरे पर अपना वर्चस्व स्थापित करने की होड़ में लगी हैं। संसार भर में हर स्थान, हर जाति, हर देश में तनाव है; बात-बात में एक-दूसरे पर चढ़ाई करने की या तो धमकी दी जाती है अथवा हमला कर दिया जाता है। सबसे अधिक भय अब इस बात का होने लगा है कि आतंकी संघटन और देश अब परमाणु हथियारों को अर्जित करने के प्रयास में लग गए हैं, और कर भी लेंगे। ऐसे में परमाणु विश्व-युद्ध को रोक पाना यदि असंभव नहीं तो बहुत कठिन अवश्य हो जाएगा। अब यह आपको विचार करना है कि क्या आप इस अवश्यंभावी परिस्थिति का सामना करने के लिए तैयार हैं कि नहीं। 

चाहे जगत का अंत आपके जीवन काल में न भी हो, तो भी जीवन समाप्त होने के पश्चात, प्रभु परमेश्वर के सामने जीवन का हिसाब देने के लिए तो खड़ा होना ही है (प्रेरितों 17:30-31; रोमियों 14:12; 2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। यदि आत्मा पर पाप को लिए हुए जाएंगे, तो फिर परमेश्वर के साथ नहीं रह पाएंगे। आज ही स्वेच्छा से, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों की क्षमा माँगकर पापों को धो लीजिए, परमेश्वर के साथ अनन्तकाल की आशीष और सुख में रहने के लिए तैयार हो जाइए। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना, आपके जीवन को विनाश से आशीष में लाकर खड़ा कर सकती है - निर्णय आपका है। आपको बस कुछ इस प्रकार से सच्चे मन से, स्वेच्छा से, पापों के लिए पश्चाताप की मनसा के साथ प्रभु को पुकारना है, “हे प्रभु यीशु, मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ कि मैं आपकी अनाज्ञाकारिता का दोषी हूँ, पापी हूँ। मैं मानता हूँ कि आपने मेरे सभी पाप अपने ऊपर लेकर, क्रूस पर अपना बलिदान देने के द्वारा उनके सारे दण्ड को मेरे लिए सह लिया, मेरे स्थान पर आपने उनकी पूरी कीमत चुका दी। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, अपना आज्ञाकारी शिष्य बनाएं, और अपने साथ बनाकर रखें।” समय रहते सही निर्णय कर लें, कही बाद में बहुत देर न हो जाए, मौका हाथ से निकाल न जाए।

Bible and Physical Sciences - 4 - Signs and End

In the past few articles, we have been examining the relationship between the Word of God - the Bible and science, under the topic Bible and Bio-Sciences. We have seen that neither is science opposed to the Bible and God, nor are God or the Bible opposed to science. In reality, science is merely a tool to study and understand God’s creation and the manner in which it functions. Science only presents facts and provides information. Since science only brings to light and provides information about the created things, therefore, there is no way it can possibly reveal or present anything against the Creator of creation. There is a false allegation against science, that science has disproven the existence of God. Just as learning and understanding details about a created object does not prove that it had no creator, in the same way, the revelation of facts about creation by science does not prove that there is no Creator. Rather, by revealing the wondrous aspects of creation, science has provided evidence of the Creator’s marvelous wisdom, power, capability, and skill.

Analyzing the facts revealed and presented by science, and forming conclusions and theories based on them, is the work of men - scientists. As new facts continue to come to light, the interpretations, theories, and conclusions given by men - scientists, also continue to change—the existing may be improved, or they may be completely discarded and replaced by new ones. Therefore, any interpretations, theories, and conclusions based on science can never be infallible, final, and immutable; they always remain changeable. In this context, it is extremely important to always keep two things in mind regarding science. First is that since scientists too are human beings therefore, they can make mistakes in their interpretations and conclusions; they may also have their own biases related to interpretation, and thus their interpretations can be prejudiced. It is also a well-known fact that some scientists have themselves fabricated certain things in order to prove their own theories correct and have presented them as “facts,” e.g., the Piltdown man being the missing link hoax. We have already seen all these things, and the evidence related to them, in previous articles. The second point is that a very commonly used statement is, “science says…; science tells…” etc.—but the reality is that science by itself never says or tells anything; science only reveals or presents facts. However, the task of saying or telling anything on the basis of those facts—whether what is said is right or wrong—is always done by people - the scientists; and as we have just seen, it is not necessary that whatever they say will always be correct, or be the truth.

In the recent articles we have seen some things related to Physical Sciences that were written in God’s Word the Bible, thousands of years ago in simple, non-scientific, idiomatic language, which the simple uneducated or poorly educated people could understand; things which the people of those times could never have imagined and figured out by themselves. We first saw about the water cycle; then we saw God’s perspective about this earth and the living things of earth. And after that we saw that about the end-times prophecy of the world getting destroyed because of environmental degradation, and God’s judgment on those who destroy the world. In the last article we looked at some of the things related to light, waves and frequencies, and air written in the oldest book of the Bible, the Book of Job, about 4000 years ago; but the scientists have been discovered recently. Today we will see a couple of things written at other places in the Bible

From the time of creation, since the beginning of the universe, God created the lights and stars of the sky to determine the times, days and nights, to determine the days and years, “Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also” (Genesis 1:14-16); and about 2600 years ago, the Prophet Jeremiah wrote “Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name)” (Jeremiah 31:35). Man could recognize this purpose of God and make good use of it, thousands of years after it had been written.

When prophesying about the end of the world and the time to stand before God for judgment, the disciple of the Lord Jesus, Peter wrote, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?” (2 Peter 3:10-12), which is an accurate description of the destruction caused by the use of nuclear weapons. This, in a prophecy for the end times, given 2000 years ago, when there were no weapons or methods by which the elements would become very hot and melt, the earth and the works on it would burn, there would be a terrible sound of a blast, the visibility of the sky disappearing from sight. We know these things today by our knowledge of the use of nuclear weapons, but it is humanly impossible for Peter or any other person to even imagine and then to write and tell about these things at the time this was written. It simply cannot be through the thoughts or imaginations of any human intelligence.

The prevailing political and economic state of the world; the unpredictable, unprecedented destructive things that are happening in nature, are all according to the prophecies of the Lord Jesus given 2000 years ago (Matthew 24);  All of these current events are pointing to the second coming of the Lord, the end of the world, and the judgment of all human beings, in the near future.. All over the world, nature and natural cycles have become disrupted, gone haywire, are causing a lot of destruction. There is no doubt that today the world is standing on the verge of nuclear war. The powers possessing nuclear weapons are competing to establish their supremacy over each other. There is tension all over the world in every place, in every race, in every country. Countries and alliances keep trying to have an upper hand over their rivals, they either threaten each other, or indirectly terrorize their rivals, or even attack and invade. The biggest fear now is that terrorist organizations and their supporting countries are now trying to acquire nuclear weapons, and eventually will acquire them in some way. In such a situation, it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to avert a nuclear world war. Now it is for you to consider and decide whether you are prepared and ready to face this inevitable situation or not.

Even if the end of the world does not happen in your lifetime, still, after the end of this earthly life, everyone will have to stand before the Lord God to give account of their life to Him (Acts 17:30-31; Romans 14:12; 2 Corinthians 5:10). If the soul will stand before God with sin, then it will not be able to live with God. Voluntarily today, just now, ask the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, ask Him to wash away your sins, and to make you ready to live in eternal blessings and happiness with God. A single prayer from a sincere and submissive heart can lift your life from destruction to blessing - the decision is yours. All you have to do is call upon the Lord with a sincere heart, voluntarily, with a heartfelt sincere repentance of your sins; you can pray something like this, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I am guilty of disobeying you, I am a sinner. I believe and accept that you took all my sins upon yourself, bore all their punishment for me by sacrificing yourself on the Cross, and paid their full price in my place. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, make me your obedient disciple, and keep me with you." Take the right decision while you have the time and opportunity, before it is too late, and you miss the opportunity.

बाइबल और सृष्टि

पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि सृष्टि अपने सृष्टिकर्ता के विरुद्ध गवाही नहीं देगी, उसका इनकार नहीं करेगी। बाइबल विज्ञान के विरुद्ध नहीं है - हो भी कैसे सकती है, क्योंकि विज्ञान तो परमेश्वर द्वारा मनुष्य को दी गई बुद्धि की अभिव्यक्ति, एक प्रमाण है। और न ही विज्ञान बाइबल के विरुद्ध है क्योंकि विज्ञान भी परमेश्वर द्वारा मनुष्य को दी गई बुद्धि के द्वारा परमेश्वर की अद्भुत सृष्टि की व्याख्या करने का एक साधन है। बाइबल और विज्ञान के मध्य यह टकराव और तथाकथित विरोध पूर्णतः कृत्रिम है, उन नास्तिक और परमेश्वर विरोधी लोगों के द्वारा जन-बूझकर गढ़ा और फैलाया गया है जो परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को किसी भी तरीके से अस्वीकार करना चाहते हैं। और इसीलिये उन्होंने बाइबल और विज्ञान में यह कृत्रिम विरोधाभास प्रचलित कर दिया है, लोगों में यह धारणा बैठा दी है कि विज्ञान ने परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को अस्वीकार्य प्रमाणत कर दिया है; और इस प्रकार से विज्ञान और परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व में एक परस्पर अनावश्यक विरोध को उत्पन्न करवा दिया है। इसीलिये, प्रत्येक वैज्ञानिक खोज और प्रगीत को सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व के विरुद्ध एक और कदम के रूप में दिखाया और समझाया जाता है। एक बहुत साधारण और सहज तथ्य है - प्रत्येक रचना, चाहे वह किसी भी प्रकार की क्यों न हो, अपने रचनाकार के होने को प्रमाणित करती है, उसके न होने को नहीं। और यदि कोई उस रचना को समझ लेता है, तो इससे उस रचना के रचनाकर का केवल अस्तित्व ही नहीं, बल्कि उसकी बुद्धिमता और रचनात्मकता भी प्रमाणित ही हो जाती है, उसके अस्तित्व का इनकार नहीं होता है। आज हम परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल से सृष्टि से संबंधित बातों के द्वारा इस कथन की पुष्टि को देखेंगे। 

परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल में लिखा है:  

• भजन 19:1-3 — “आकाश ईश्वर की महिमा वर्णन कर रहा है; और आकाशमण्डल उसकी हस्तकला को प्रगट कर रहा है। दिन से दिन बातें करता है, और रात को रात ज्ञान सिखाती है। न तो कोई बोली है और न कोई भाषा जहां उनका शब्द सुनाई नहीं देता है।” 

• यिर्मयाह 10:12 — “उसी [परमेश्वर] ने पृथ्वी को अपनी सामर्थ्य से बनाया, उसने जगत को अपनी बुद्धि से स्थिर किया, और आकाश को अपनी प्रवीणता से तान दिया है।”

• रोमियों 1:20 "क्योंकि उस [परमेश्वर] के अनदेखे गुण, अर्थात उस की सनातन सामर्थ्य, और परमेश्वरत्व जगत की सृष्टि के समय से उसके कामों के द्वारा देखने में आते है, यहां तक कि वे निरुत्तर हैं।

    साथ ही हमें इस मूल तथ्य को भी ध्यान में रखना चाहिये कि बाइबल वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से लिखी गई पुस्तक नहीं है। हजारों साल पहले जब इसकी विभिन्न पुस्तकें, जब अपने-अपने समय में लिखी गई थीं, तो साधारण सामान्य लोगों के, जिनमें से अधिकांश अशिक्षित या बहुत कम शिक्षा-प्राप्त होते थे। उस समय इन पुस्तकों को उन्हें पढ़ने या सुनने, और उनके लिये परमेश्वर के सन्देश को समझ पाने के लिए दिया गया था। और साथ ही, विज्ञान, वैज्ञानिक शब्द, वैज्ञानिक भाषा, जैसा आज है, वैसा उस समय नहीं था। इसलिए, बाइबल में विज्ञान की बातें, न तो वैज्ञानिक शब्दावली में दी गई हैं, और न ही किसी वैज्ञानिक व्याख्या अथवा चर्चा और विश्लेषण के उद्देश्य से दी गई हैं। वरन् उन पुस्तकों में दी गई शिक्षाओं और चर्चाओं में, वैज्ञानिक बातें सामान्य साधारण भाषा में सम्मिलित की गई हैं। आज हम सृष्टि से संबंधित कुछ बातों को देखेंगे, जो बाइबल की पुस्तकों में तो हजारों वर्षों से विद्यमान हैं, किन्तु विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिकों ने उन्हें कुछ सदियों अथवा दशकों पहले जाना है। आइये आज सृष्टि से संबंधित कुछ वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों को देखते हैं जो बाइबल की पुस्तकों में पहले से विद्यमान हैं:

• सृष्टि की हर चीज अति-सूक्ष्म कणों से बनी है जो आँखों से नहीं देखे जा सकते हैं, अनदेखे हैं:  - इब्रानियों 11:3 में लिखा है कि, "विश्वास ही से हम जान जाते हैं, कि सारी सृष्टि की रचना परमेश्वर के वचन के द्वारा हुई है। यह नहीं, कि जो कुछ देखने में आता है, वह देखी हुई वस्तुओं से बना हो।"

• सृष्टि का एक समय पर आरंभ हुआ है: बीसवीं सदी के आरंभ में सुप्रसिद्ध वैज्ञानिक एल्बर्ट आईनस्टाईन के कार्यों के बाद से विज्ञान ने यह स्वीकार करना आरंभ किया कि सृष्टि का किसी समय पर आरंभ हुआ था; जबकि उससे पहले अधिकांश लोग यही मानते थे कि सृष्टि अनन्त काल से चली आ रही है। जबकि बाइबल के पहले ही पद में इस 'आरंभ' को बताया गया है: उत्पत्ति 1:1 "आदि में परमेश्वर ने आकाश और पृथ्वी की सृष्टि की।" और , इब्रानियों 1:10 "और यह कि, हे प्रभु, आदि में तू ने पृथ्वी की नेव डाली, और स्वर्ग तेरे हाथों की कारीगरी है।"

• विज्ञान इस सृष्टि को चार बातों के अंतर्गत व्यक्त करता है – समय (Time), स्थान (Space), पदार्थ (Matter), और ऊर्जा (Energy): सारी सृष्टि इन्हीं चार बातों से संबंधित नियमों तथा कार्यों और इनके परस्पर सामंजस्य तथा व्यवहार के द्वारा कार्य कर रही है। बाइबल के पहले तीन पद, सृष्टि के साथ इन चारों बातों को बताते हैं: उत्पत्ति 1:1-3 “आदि [समय/Time] में परमेश्वर ने आकाश [स्थान/Space] और पृथ्वी [पदार्थ/Matter] की सृष्टि की। और पृथ्वी बेडौल और सुनसान पड़ी थी; और गहरे जल के ऊपर अन्धियारा था: तथा परमेश्वर का आत्मा जल के ऊपर मण्डलाता था। तब परमेश्वर ने कहा, उजियाला [रौश्नी – ऊर्जा/Energy] हो: तो उजियाला हो गया।”

• थर्मोडायनमिक्स का प्रथम नियम: समस्त सृष्टि में विद्यमान ऊर्जा और पदार्थ के व्यवहार की व्याख्या करने वाले थर्मोडायनमिक्स के तीन सिद्धांत हैं। इनमें से प्रथम सिद्धांत कहता है कि समस्त सृष्टि में विद्यमान कुल ऊर्जा और पदार्थ की मात्रा स्थाई है – ऊर्जा और पदार्थ परस्पर परिवर्तित हो सकते हैं, किन्तु उनका कुल योग बढ़ या घट नहीं सकता है। बाइबल की पहली पुस्तक में ही लिख दिया गया था कि परमेश्वर ने सृष्टि की रचना की समाप्ति भी की; और उस समाप्ति के बाद उसमें फिर कभी और कुछ बढ़ाया या घटाया नहीं गया है: उत्पत्ति 2:1-2 “यों आकाश और पृथ्वी और उनकी सारी सेना का बनाना समाप्त हो गया। और परमेश्वर ने अपना काम जिसे वह करता था सातवें दिन समाप्त किया। और उसने अपने किए हुए सारे काम से सातवें दिन विश्राम किया।” इसके बाद से सृष्टि का सारा कार्य उसी प्रथम रचना के समय में सृजे गए पदार्थ (Matter) और ऊर्जा (Energy) के माध्यम से ही हो रहा है। 

• थर्मोडायनमिक्स का द्वितीय नियम: थर्मोडायनमिक्स का द्वितीय नियम है कि सृष्टि की हर वस्तु क्षय होती जा रही है, नष्ट हो रही है, निरंतर घटती, और अव्यवस्थित होती जा रही है (Entropy – deteriorating or running down)। पहले लोगों का मानना था कि सृष्टि अपरिवर्तनीय है। किन्तु अब विज्ञान ने पहचाना है कि ऐसा नहीं है, सारी सृष्टि की हर वस्तु इस दूसरे नियम के अनुसार क्षय होती चली जा रही है। Evolution या क्रमिक विकासवाद इस दूसरे नियम के विरुद्ध है, क्योंकि उसके अनुसार विकासवाद में जीव-जन्तु सुधरते और उन्नत होते चले गए, और अभी भी यही हो रहा है। किन्तु बाइबल में इस क्षय होने को पहले ही लिख दिया गया था: भजन 102:25-26 “आदि में तू ने पृथ्वी की नेव डाली, और आकाश तेरे हाथों का बनाया हुआ है। वह तो नाश होगा, परन्तु तू बना रहेगा; और वह सब कपड़े के समान पुराना हो जाएगा। तू उसको वस्त्र के समान बदलेगा, और वह तो बदल जाएगा;”; तथा इब्रानियों 1:11-12 “वे तो नाश हो जाएंगे; परन्तु तू बना रहेगा: और वे सब वस्त्र के समान पुराने हो जाएंगे। और तू उन्हें चादर के समान लपेटेगा, और वे वस्त्र के समान बदल जाएंगे: पर तू वही है और तेरे वर्षों का अन्त न होगा।”

साथ ही बाइबल यह भी बताती है कि यह क्षय होना सृष्टि में पाप के प्रवेश के द्वारा हुआ: उत्पत्ति 3:17 “और आदम से उसने कहा, तू ने जो अपनी पत्नी की बात सुनी, और जिस वृक्ष के फल के विषय मैं ने तुझे आज्ञा दी थी कि तू उसे न खाना उसको तू ने खाया है, इसलिये भूमि तेरे कारण शापित है: तू उसकी उपज जीवन भर दु:ख के साथ खाया करेगा” तथा रोमियों 8:20-22 “क्योंकि सृष्टि अपनी इच्छा से नहीं पर आधीन करने वाले की ओर से व्यर्थता के आधीन इस आशा से की गई। कि सृष्टि भी आप ही विनाश के दासत्व से छुटकारा पाकर, परमेश्वर की सन्तानों की महिमा की स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त करेगी। क्योंकि हम जानते हैं, कि सारी सृष्टि अब तक मिलकर कराहती और पीड़ाओं में पड़ी तड़पती है।”

अगले लेख में हम बाइबल में अन्तरिक्ष और सितारों आदि के बारे में दी गई बातों के बारे में देखेंगे। बाइबल यह भी बताती है कि मनुष्य परमेश्वर की उच्चतम एवं उत्कृष्ट रचना है, जिसे उसने अपने ही स्वरूप में रचा है (उत्पत्ति 1:26-27), और जिसके साथ वह सहभागिता रखता था। परन्तु मनुष्य ने परमेश्वर की अनाज्ञाकारिता कर के पाप किया; इस करण से यह सहभागिता टूट गई, मनुष्य परमेश्वर से दूर चला गया। आज भी परमेश्वर मनुष्य की पापी दशा के बावजूद, मनुष्य से अथाह प्रेम करता है, और परमेश्वर की गहरी लालसा है कि मनुष्य परमेश्वर से मेल-मिलाप कर ले। यह केवलप्रभु यीशु मसीह में स्वेच्छा से लाए गये विश्वास, अपने पापों के लिए पश्चाताप कर के, उन के लिए क्षमा माँग के द्वारा ही सम्भव है। 

यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Word of God – Bible & Science Part - 2

Bible and the Universe

In the previous article we saw that creation will never testify against its Creator, and will never deny Him. The Bible is not against science - and how can it be, since science is an expression, a proof of the mind and mental capabilities given by God to man. Neither is science against the Bible, since science is a tool that reveals and explains the wonderful and astounding creation of God. This apparent concept of science and Bible being at loggerheads and against each other is an artificial and contrived concept, created and spread by those atheists and opponents of God who want to deny the existence of God by any means. Therefore, they have created and widely spread this contrived, artificial concept that science has disproved the existence of God and thus have generated this unnecessary mutual antagonism between science and God. That is why, somehow every scientific discovery and progress is shown and explained as another step affirming the non-existence of the creator God, instead of another affirmation of the wisdom, abilities, and creativity of God. A very simple and straightforward fact is that every creative work - of any kind, only proves the existence of its creator, not of his non-existence. And, if someone understands and explains that creative work, then that not only proves the existence, but also the wisdom, abilities, and creativity of the creator; not his non-existence. Today we will see affirmations of this statement through some things written about the creation in the Bible . 

In the Word of God, the Bible it is written:

• Psalm 19:1-3 — “The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.”

• Jeremiah 10:12 — “He [God] has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.”

• Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."

We must also keep in mind the basic fact that the Bible is not a book written from a scientific point of view. Its various books, when written in their respective times, thousands of years ago, were written for the average, common people, most of whom were illiterate or poorly educated. The books were given so that these people could read or hear, and understand God’s message to them. And neither, at the time of the writing of those books, was science and scientific terminology as it is seen and known today. Therefore, in the Bible the things of science are neither stated in scientific terminology, nor have they been written in the form of a scientific explanation or discussion and analysis. Rather, in the teachings and discourses that are in the books of the Bible, the scientific things have been included in common simple language. Today we will look at some things related to the universe; things which have existed in the books of the Bible for thousands of years, but science and scientists have come to know about them a few centuries or even decades ago. Consider some scientific facts about the creation that already exist in the books of the Bible:

• Everything in the universe is made up of very fine particles that cannot be seen with the eye, are invisible: - Hebrews 11:3 says, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

• Creation has a time of its beginning: in the early twentieth century after the works of the famous scientist Albert Einstein, science began to accept that the universe had a time when it began. Whereas before that most people believed that the universe has been present and continuing on from eternity. The very first verse of the Bible refers to this 'beginning': Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." and, Hebrews 1:10 “And: "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands".”

• Science sees and explains the universe under four components – Time, Space, Matter, and Energy: The whole universe and everything in it is functioning through the rules and workings related to these four components, in mutual harmony and inter-related behavior. The first three verses of the Bible refer to these four things of the universe and everything in it: Genesis 1:1-3 "In the beginning [Time] God created the heavens [Space] and the earth [Matter]. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light [Energy]"; and there was light."

• First law of thermodynamics: There are three principles of thermodynamics explaining the behavior of energy and matter present in the whole universe. The first of these states that the total amount of energy and matter present in all creation is constant – energy and matter can only be mutually interchanged, but their sum cannot ever increase or decrease. It was written in the very first book of the Bible that God also ended the creation of the universe; And after that end nothing more has been added or removed from it: Genesis 2:1-2 "Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done." Since then, all the work of creation is being done only through the matter and energy that God created at the time of that initial creation.

• Second law of thermodynamics: The second law of thermodynamics is that everything in creation is decaying, being destroyed, is continuously decreasing, and becoming disordered or deteriorating (Entropy – deteriorating or running down). Earlier people believed that the universe is unchanging. But now science has recognized that it is not so, everything in the whole universe is undergoing a decaying process, which is according to this second law. Evolution is against this second law, because according to it the animals are improving and advancing; under evolution, this gradual improvement and advancement has happened in the past, and it is still happening today, and will continue happening in the future, instead of decaying and deteriorating as stated by the second law of thermodynamics. But this decay was already recorded in the Bible: Psalm 102:25-26 "Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed."; and Hebrews 1:11-12 "They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail."

At the same time, the Bible also states that this decay was caused by the entry of sin into creation: Genesis 3:17 "Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life." and Romans 8:20-22 “For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”

In the next article we will look at some things the Bible tells about Space and stars etc. The Bible also tells us that man is the highest and best of God’s creation, created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), and God had fellowship with man. But man disobeyed God and sinned; therefore, this fellowship was broken, and man moved away from God. Even today, God greatly loves man despite his having fallen in sin, and God’s great longing is to have fellowship restored with man. This is possible only through man voluntarily coming to faith in the Lord Jesus, repenting of his sins, asking forgiveness for them, and thus being restored into fellowship with God.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
