पाप का समाधान - उद्धार - 5
पिछले चार लेखों से हम बाइबल की प्रथम पुस्तक, उत्पत्ति के 3 अध्याय में दिए गए प्रथम पाप और उसके परिणामों और प्रभावों के विवरण पर आधारित पाप के समाधान, तथा उद्धार से संबंधित तीन महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्नों को देख रहे हैं। हमने पहले प्रश्न – “उद्धार किससे और क्यों” पर विचार करने और उसके निष्कर्ष पर पहुँचने के पश्चात, पिछले लेख में दूसरे प्रश्न “व्यक्ति इस उद्धार को कैसे प्राप्त कर सकता है?” पर विचार आरंभ किया था। इस दूसरे प्रश्न के अंतर्गत हमने देखा कि पाप व्यक्ति के द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रीति से की गई परमेश्वर की अनाज्ञाकारिता है; जब प्रथम पाप किया गया, उस समय न तो वहाँ कोई धर्म था, और न ही किसी धर्म का कोई उल्लंघन हुआ, और न ही परमेश्वर ने किसी धर्म के द्वारा उस पाप के समाधान और निवारण की बात की। पाप करने का आधार तथा कारण मनुष्य का परमेश्वर की मनुष्य के प्रति योजनाओं और इच्छाओं में अविश्वास करना था। इसीलिए, परमेश्वर ने मनुष्य के जीवन में आई पाप की इस समस्या का समाधान मनुष्य के स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से उसकी पूर्ण आज्ञाकारिता में आ जाने और पापों से पश्चाताप तथा प्रभु यीशु मसीह को उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार कर लेने और उसके साथ उस खोए हुए विश्वास के संबंध को बहाल कर लेने के द्वारा दिया।
पाप के इस समाधान में निहित कुछ अन्य आधारभूत और अति महत्वपूर्ण तात्पर्य हैं। इस संबंध की पुनः स्थापना के साथ ही प्रत्येक व्यक्ति द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रीति से इन तात्पर्यों को भी स्वीकार करना और उनके अनुसार अपने जीवन के विषय निर्णय लेना और जीवन को सुधारना भी अनिवार्य है।
ये निहित तात्पर्य हैं:
* क्योंकि पाप का प्रवेश व्यक्तिगत अनाज्ञाकारिता के कारण हुआ - अनाज्ञाकारी होकर उस वर्जित फल को हव्वा ने भी खाया और आदम ने भी खाया (उत्पत्ति 3:6), इसीलिए पाप का समाधान और निवारण भी किसी धर्म विशेष को मानने वाले परिवार में जन्म लेने, और उस धर्म से संबंधित रीति-रिवाज़ों के निर्वाह के द्वारा नहीं, वरन, प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के द्वारा अपने पापों के लिए परमेश्वर के समक्ष व्यक्तिगत पश्चाताप, परमेश्वर को सम्पूर्ण समर्पण, और फिर उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में बने रहने के निर्णय के द्वारा ही है।
* यह समाधान पैतृक विरासत अथवा वंशागत नहीं व्यक्तिगत है; अर्थात, माता-पिता या परिवार के किसी अन्य सदस्य अथवा परिवार के प्राचीनों के पश्चाताप और समर्पण के द्वारा उनकी संतान, संबंधी, और भावी पीढ़ी उद्धार नहीं पाती है। हर पीढ़ी, और हर व्यक्ति को, अपने पापों के लिए स्वयं ही पश्चाताप और समर्पण करना होता है “परन्तु जितनों ने उसे ग्रहण किया, उसने उन्हें परमेश्वर के सन्तान होने का अधिकार दिया, अर्थात उन्हें जो उसके नाम पर विश्वास रखते हैं। वे न तो लहू से, न शरीर की इच्छा से, न मनुष्य की इच्छा से, परन्तु परमेश्वर से उत्पन्न हुए हैं” (यूहन्ना 1:12-13)।
* कोई भी व्यक्ति मसीही विश्वासी के रूप में जन्म नहीं लेता है; प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को मसीही विश्वासी तथा परमेश्वर की संतान बनने के लिए शारीरिक जन्म के बाद स्वेच्छा और सच्चे समर्पण के द्वारा, परमेश्वर के परिवार में, एक आत्मिक जन्म लेना पड़ता है – अपने पापों के पश्चाताप और प्रभु यीशु मसीह को अपना व्यक्तिगत उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार करने के द्वारा यह “नया जन्म” लेना पड़ता है। उसके सांसारिक परिवार के लोगों और पूर्वजों की धार्मिकता और उनका उद्धार, उसे उद्धार प्रदान नहीं करते हैं।
* मनुष्य किसी भी प्रकार से परमेश्वर द्वारा प्रदान किए गए इस सिद्ध कार्य को न तो संवार सकता है, न ही सुधार कर और बेहतर कर सकता है। अपनी बुद्धि, समझ, और योजनाओं को इसमें मिलाने के द्वारा इसे बिगाड़ कर व्यर्थ अवश्य कर सकता है “क्योंकि मसीह ने मुझे बपतिस्मा देने को नहीं, वरन सुसमाचार सुनाने को भेजा है, और यह भी शब्दों के ज्ञान के अनुसार नहीं, ऐसा न हो कि मसीह का क्रूस व्यर्थ ठहरे” (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:17)।
* इस उद्धार के लिए जो भी करना था, जो भी कीमत चुकानी थी, वह सब कुछ परमेश्वर ने पूर्ण कर के दे दिया है। मनुष्य को परमेश्वर द्वारा किए गए इस उद्धार के कार्य में अब और कुछ नहीं जोड़ना है, कुछ नहीं करना है, “क्योंकि तुम जानते हो, कि तुम्हारा निकम्मा चाल-चलन जो बाप दादों से चला आता है उस से तुम्हारा छुटकारा चान्दी सोने अर्थात नाशमान वस्तुओं के द्वारा नहीं हुआ। पर निर्दोष और निष्कलंक मेम्ने अर्थात मसीह के बहुमूल्य लहू के द्वारा हुआ” (1 पतरस 1:18-19)। न कोई कर्म-कांड, न कोई विधि-विधान, न किसी अन्य मनुष्य की मध्यस्थता अथवा सहयोग की आवश्यकता। बस स्वेच्छा से प्रभु यीशु को अपना व्यक्तिगत उद्धारकर्ता स्वीकार कर लेना है, उसके प्रति समर्पित होकर, अपने जीवन को उसके प्रति आज्ञाकारी कर लेना है – इसे ही नया जन्म पाना कहते हैं, जिसके बिना कोई स्वर्ग में प्रवेश तो दूर, उसे देख भी नहीं सकता है “यीशु ने उसको उत्तर दिया; कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं, यदि कोई नये सिरे से न जन्मे तो परमेश्वर का राज्य देख नहीं सकता।” “यीशु ने उत्तर दिया, कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं; जब तक कोई मनुष्य जल और आत्मा से न जन्मे तो वह परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता” (यूहन्ना 3:3, 5)।
* बाइबल यह स्पष्ट बताती है कि मनुष्य के लिए धर्म के निर्वाह की धार्मिकता अपर्याप्त है “क्योंकि मैं तुम से कहता हूं, कि यदि तुम्हारी धामिर्कता शास्त्रियों और फरीसियों की धामिर्कता से बढ़कर न हो, तो तुम स्वर्ग के राज्य में कभी प्रवेश करने न पाओगे” (मत्ती 5:20); परमेश्वर के दृष्टि में मैले चिथड़ों के समान व्यर्थ है “हम तो सब के सब अशुद्ध मनुष्य के से हैं, और हमारे धर्म के काम सब के सब मैले चिथड़ों के समान हैं। हम सब के सब पत्ते के समान मुर्झा जाते हैं, और हमारे अधर्म के कामों ने हमें वायु के समान उड़ा दिया है” (यशायाह 64:6)।
पाप और उद्धार से संबंधित चर्चा के इस महत्वपूर्ण दूसरे प्रश्न का निष्कर्ष है कि पाप का समाधान और उद्धार किसी धर्म के कार्य अथवा धर्म के निर्वाह के द्वारा नहीं है; न ही यह किसी धर्म विशेष की बात है; और न ही पैतृक अथवा वंशागत है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अपने पापों के लिए स्वयं पश्चाताप करना होगा, उनके लिए स्वयं प्रभु यीशु से क्षमा माँगनी होगी, स्वयं ही अपना जीवन प्रभु यीशु को समर्पित करना होगा, उसका आज्ञाकारी शिष्य बनने का स्वयं ही निर्णय लेना होगा।
क्या आपने वास्तव में उद्धार पाया है? यदि नहीं, तो स्वेच्छा से, सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण के साथ एक छोटी प्रार्थना, “हे प्रभु यीशु मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ कि मैं पापी हूँ और आपकी अनाज्ञाकारिता करता रहता हूँ। मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों को अपने ऊपर लेकर, मेरे बदले में उनके दण्ड को कलवरी के क्रूस पर सहा, और मेरे लिए अपने आप को बलिदान किया। आप मेरे लिए मारे गए, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए तीसरे दिन जी उठे। कृपया मुझ पर दया करके मेरे पापों को क्षमा कर दीजिए, मुझे अपनी शरण में ले लीजिए, अपना आज्ञाकारी शिष्य बनाकर, अपने साथ कर लीजिए।” सच्चे मन से की गई पश्चाताप और समर्पण की एक प्रार्थना आपके जीवन को अभी से लेकर अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय जीवन बना देगी, स्वर्गीय आशीषों का वारिस कर देगी।

The Solution For Sin - Salvation - 5
For the last four articles, we have been looking at the three important questions regarding sin and its consequences, based on the description of the first sin given in chapter 3 of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, and regarding salvation - the solution of sin and its effects. Having considered and reached conclusions for the first question – “Salvation from whom and why;” We then, in the previous article, took up the second question “How can one attain this salvation?” and had begun pondering over it. Under this second question we saw that sin is an individual condition because of every person’s individual disobedience to God. We also saw that no religion has any role to play in this, since when the first sin was committed, at that time there was neither any religion, nor a violation of any religion was done, nor did God talk about the solution and remission of that sin through any religion. The basis and reason for committing sin was man's disbelief in God's plans and desires for him. Therefore, the God prescribed solution to this problem of sin in man's life is by reverting back to a state of faith and trust in God; i.e., for man to willingly and sincerely repent of sins, accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and submit into complete obedience to God, to restore that lost relationship with Him, through faith.
There are some other fundamental and very important implications of this God given solution to sin. For the re-establishment of relationship with God, it is absolutely necessary for each person to personally understand and accept these implications, decide about their effects on his life, and conduct himself accordingly for improvement.
These implications are:
* Because the entry of sin was due to personal disobedience committed individually - Eve ate the forbidden fruit in disobedience and then Adam also ate (Genesis 3:6), so the solution and remission of sin is also by every individual's personal repentance for their sins, their total submission to God individually, and then to remain in obedience to Him. Being born in a family following a particular religion, and the observance of the customs associated with that religion, is neither the solution, nor is an option for obtaining salvation.
* This solution is on an individual and personal basis; it is not based on familial inheritance or genealogy; i.e., because of the repentance and submission of the parents, or any other family member, or the elders of the family, their children, relatives, and future generations are not saved. Every generation, and every person, has to repent and surrender for their own sins “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12-13).
* No one is born a Christian; Each person, after their physical birth, must be spiritually Born Again to be a Christian and a child of God, by repentance of their sins and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. This "new birth" has to be taken by a willing and genuine submission to God, to become part of the family of God. The righteousness and salvation of their earthly family members and ancestors do not grant anyone their salvation.
* Man can by no means, neither improve upon, nor render more efficacious, this perfect solution granted by God. But by mixing his wisdom, understanding, and plans into it, he can spoil it, render it ineffective, for sure “For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect" (1 Corinthians 1:17).
* Whatever had to be done for this salvation, whatever price had to be paid, God has completed all of it, has done and provided it. Man has nothing to add to this work of salvation made available by God, he has nothing other to do than accept and apply it, just as it is, "knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18–19). No religious works, no rituals, no need for mediation or any kind of assistance by any other person is required. One only has to voluntarily accept the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior, surrender to Him, make himself obedient to Him – this is what is meant by being “Born Again”, without which one cannot even see, let alone enter heaven. “Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." “Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God" (John 3:3, 5).
* The Bible makes it abundantly clear that righteousness of religion or works is insufficient for man to be righteous "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:20); it is like dirty rags that are worthless in the eyes of God. “But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6).
This conclusion of the important second question regarding the discussion of sin and salvation is that the solution of sin and salvation is not by any act of righteousness or by the practice of religious works; Nor is it a matter of any particular religion; and neither is it hereditary or ancestral. Everyone has to individually repent for their own sins, ask for forgiveness from the Lord Jesus for the sins himself, decide to submit his own life to the Lord Jesus, and to become his obedient disciple.
Have you really obtained salvation; or have you been trusting your religion and religious works, works of righteousness etc.? If you are not yet Born Again, then a short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart and with heart-felt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company, wants to see you blessed; but to make this possible or not, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
