बाइबल और जीव-विज्ञान - 4 - जन्तुओं का व्यवहार

      हमने पिछले तीन लेखों में देखा है कि जीव-जंतुओं और मनुष्यों से संबंधित कितनी ही बातें हैं जिनका क्रमिक विकासवाद (Evolution) के पास आज भी कोई उत्तर नहीं है। हम यह भी देख चुके हैं कि क्रमिक विकासवाद और विज्ञान के नाम पर सब कुछ जो हमें पढ़ाया और बताया जाता रहा है वह सत्य नहीं है, और न ही सभी तथ्यों का सही प्रकटीकरण अथवा व्याख्या है; बहुत सी असुविधाजनक बातों को, जिनके कोई संतोषजनक उत्तर विज्ञान या वैज्ञानिकों के पास नहीं हैं, उन्हें दबा दिया जाता है, या टाल दिया जाता है। हम सामान्यतः क्रमिक विकासवाद को केवल इसलिए सच और सही मान लेते हैं क्योंकि यह बचपन से हमें विज्ञान और सत्य बताकर पढ़ाया जाता है, हमारे मनों में बैठा दिया गया है, जबकि वास्तविकता इससे बहुत भिन्न है।

    हमारे चारों ओर कुछ बातें तो इतनी सामान्य हैं कि अधिकांशतः हम उन बातों पर कुछ विशेष ध्यान दिए बिना, उन्हें यूं ही स्वीकार कर लेते हैं, और उनके विषय क्रमिक विकासवाद की चुप्पी पर ध्यान भी नहीं करते हैं। ऐसी ही कुछ बातों पर ध्यान कीजिए:

• विज्ञान के इतने उन्नत और जटिल यंत्रों से लैस वायु-यान और जल-पोत भी दिशा भटक जाते हैं, और इस कारण दुर्घटना-ग्रस्त हो जाते हैं; किन्तु छोटा सा पक्षी, कबूतर, जिसका पूरा मस्तिष्क हमारे अंगूठे के सिरे के बराबर भी नहीं होता, वह कभी दिशा नहीं भटकता है; कहीं से भी छोड़ा जाए, वह अपने ‘घर’ पहुँच जाता है। 

• कुछ समुद्री मच्छलियाँ हैं जो अंडे देने के लिए मीठे जल की नदियों में पानी के प्रवाह की विपरीत दिशा में जाती हैं, और नदी में उसी स्थान पर जाकर अंडे देती हैं, जहाँ पर वे स्वयं अंडों से निकलकर और फिर पानी के साथ बहकर समुद्र में पहुंची और बड़ी हुईं। वे पली और बड़ी समुद्र में हुईं, वहीं इधर से उधर विचरण करती हैं; किन्तु उन्हें अपने जन्म का स्थान और नदी, उसकी भौगोलिक स्थिति, याद है, जबकि सागर में न जाने कितनी नदियां मिलती रहती हैं। कौन उन्हें यह सिखाता और उस स्थान का सटीक पता बताता है? 

• उत्तरी अमेरिका के क्षेत्रों की कुछ तितलियाँ हैं जो जब उनके अंडे देने का समय आने लगता है, तो लाखों की संख्या में लगभग 2500 मील की यात्रा करके मध्य तथा दक्षिणी अमेरिका में जा कर ही अंडे देती हैं, और उनकी अगली पीढ़ी जन्म लेने के बाद स्वतः ही वहाँ से वापस उत्तरी अमेरिका के क्षेत्रों में लौट कर आती है; और अपनी अगली पीढ़ी को जन्मे देने के लिए वे फिर वहीं दक्षिण की ओर लौट कर जाती हैं, और यह चक्र चलता ही रहता है। 

• उत्तरी ध्रुव के निकट के क्षेत्रों के कुछ पक्षी हैं जो हर वर्ष ठंड आरंभ होने से पहले दक्षिण की ओर हजारों मील उड़ कर पहुंचते हैं। वहाँ अंडे देते और अपनी अगली पीढ़ी को जन्म देते हैं, और सर्दियाँ समाप्त होने तथा गर्मियों का आरंभ होने पर फिर अपने ठन्डे इलाके को लौट जाते हैं। पृथ्वी का यह भूगोल और मौसम ज्ञान तथा समझ उन में कैसे आई? वे कैसे उन्हीं स्थानों पर प्रति वर्ष लौट कर आ जाते हैं जहाँ उनका जन्म हुआ था? जबकि उनसे कहीं अधिक और उन्नत बुद्धि वाला मनुष्य एक छोटे से जंगल में, यहाँ तक कि अपने ही शहर में भी दिशा भटक जाता है, स्थान नहीं स्मरण रख पाता है। 

• एक नया जन्मा हुआ कीट, जैसे कि मकड़ी, या छिपकली, या अन्य जन्तु जिनकी परवरिश उनके माता-पिता नहीं करते हैं, वे कैसे अपने भोजन को पहचानने और पकड़ने की कला सीख लेते हैं; मकड़ी को उसका अद्भुत जाला बनाना कौन सिखाता है?

प्रकृति और जीव-जंतुओं, वनस्पतियों की ऐसी ही अनगिनत बातें हैं जिनके लिए क्रमिक विकासवाद या विज्ञान के पास कोई संतोषजनक उत्तर नहीं है। उपरोक्त तथा उनके समान बातों के लिए उन्हें जीव-जंतुओं के नैसर्गिक गुण (animal instinct) कहकर टाल दिया जाता है, किन्तु यह कोई नहीं बताता और समझाता है कि ये नैसर्गिक गुण कभी तो उत्पन्न हुए होंगे, कहीं से तो आए होंगे; तो उनका यह आरंभ कहाँ से और कैसे हुआ था?

किन्तु बाइबल का परमेश्वर हमें बताता है कि ये और ऐसे सभी गुण, सभी प्राणियों में उसने दिए हैं, उसकी सृष्टि की योजना का भाग हैं; उसकी बुद्धिमता और कार्य-कौशल तथा महानता का प्रमाण हैं। लगभग 4000 वर्ष प्राचीन अय्यूब की पुस्तक में परमेश्वर इन्हीं बातों को आधार बना कर अय्यूब से उनके विषय प्रश्न करता है, कि क्या उसमें यह सब समझने और जानने की समझ तथा क्षमता है (अय्यूब 39 अध्याय)। 

इन्हीं बातों को आधार बना कर परमेश्वर अपने लोगों से, उनकी परमेश्वर के प्रति अनाज्ञाकारिता के लिए उलाहना देता है “आकाश में लगलग भी अपने नियत समयों को जानता है, और पणडुकी, सूपाबेनी, और सारस भी अपने आने का समय रखते हैं; परन्तु मेरी प्रजा यहोवा का नियम नहीं जानती” [Even the stork in the heavens Knows her appointed times; And the Turtledove, the Swift, and the Swallow observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of the Lord] (यिर्मयाह 8:7)। साथ ही इन छोटे और नगण्य प्रतीत होने वाले जीवों में जो गुण उसने डाले हैं, उन से शिक्षा लेने की भी सलाह देता है “पृथ्वी पर चार छोटे जन्तु हैं, जो अत्यन्त बुद्धिमान हैं: च्यूटियां निर्बल जाति तो हैं, परन्तु धूप काल में अपनी भोजन वस्तु बटोरती हैं; शापान बली जाति नहीं, तौभी उनकी मान्दें पहाड़ों पर होती हैं; टिड्डियों के राजा तो नहीं होता, तौभी वे सब की सब दल बान्ध बान्ध कर पलायन करती हैं; और छिपकली हाथ से पकड़ी तो जाती है, तौभी राजभवनों में रहती है” (नीतिवचन 30:24-28)। बाइबल में ऐसे ही अनेकों अन्य खंड और पद हैं जो सृष्टि की हर बात में परमेश्वर की बुद्धिमता और ज्ञान के विषय बताते हैं।

 

बाइबल काल्पनिक किस्से-कहानियों की पुस्तक नहीं, परमेश्वर का सत्य वचन है। परमेश्वर का अपने विषय एक सीमित प्रकटीकरण है। जो थोड़ा सा उसने हम पर प्रकट किया है, वही इतना अद्भुत, विलक्षण, और अनुपम है, कि दाऊद ने कहा “यह ज्ञान मेरे लिये बहुत कठिन है; यह गम्भीर और मेरी समझ से बाहर है” (भजन 139:6)। जब परलोक में हम उसके सामने होंगे, तब परमेश्वर के लोगों के लिए जो तैयार किया गया है उसके विषय परमेश्वर ने लिखवाया, “परन्तु जैसा लिखा है, कि जो आंख ने नहीं देखी, और कान ने नहीं सुना, और जो बातें मनुष्य के चित्त में नहीं चढ़ीं वे ही हैं, जो परमेश्वर ने अपने प्रेम रखने वालों के लिये तैयार की हैं” (1 कुरिन्थियों 2:9) - साधारण शब्दों में, वे बातें इतनी अद्भुत हैं कि हम मानवीय बुद्धि और क्षमता से उनकी कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकते हैं।

अब यह आपको निर्णय लेना है कि आप किस की मानेंगे, किस पर विश्वास करेंगे - विज्ञान और तथ्यों के नाम पर बदलती रहने वाली बातों को सिखाने वालों पर; या कभी न बदलने वाले, कभी झूठ न बोलने, सदा हमारा भला ही चाहने और करने वाले परमेश्वर पर? उस प्रेमी सच्चे सृष्टिकर्ता परमेश्वर पर जिसने हम से इतना प्रेम किया है कि हमारे उद्धार के लिए अपने पुत्र तक को बलिदान कर दिया, जिससे कि उसकी अनाज्ञाकारिता और अवहेलना करते रहने वाले हम पापी मनुष्यों को उससे मेल-मिलाप कर लेने, उसके पास लौट आने का मार्ग मिल सके? यदि आपने परमेश्वर के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय लिया है, तो आपके द्वारा स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से अपने पापों के प्रति पश्चातापी मन के साथ आप के द्वारा की गई एक छोटी प्रार्थना “हे प्रभु यीशु, मैं मान लेता हूँ कि मैंने मन, ध्यान, विचार, व्यवहार में जाने-अनजाने पाप किए हैं। मैं मान लेता हूँ कि आप ने मेरे पापों के दंड को अपने ऊपर लेकर मेरे बदले में उनकी सज़ा को क्रूस पर बलिदान देकर पूरा कर दिया है। कृपया मेरे पाप क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, मेरे पापी मन और जीवन को बदल कर अपना मुझे अपने साथ ले लें” आपके जीवन को बदल देगी, पापी मन को बदल कर आपको परमेश्वर की संतान बना देगी।

English Translation

Bible and BioSciences - 4 - Animal Behavior

In the previous three articles on the Bible and BioSciences, we have seen  that there are many things related to animals and humans for which evolution has no answer even today. We have also seen that everything that has been taught and told to us in the name of evolution and “science” is not always the truth; and an honest, correct disclosure or explanation of all scientific facts and data is also not always done. Many inconvenient things for which science or scientists have no satisfactory answers are suppressed, or avoided being brought to the knowledge of the general public. We generally accept evolution as true and correct simply because it has been taught to us from childhood and because simultaneously it has been ingrained in our minds that what is being taught to us in the name of science is the truth; whereas, the reality is very different from this.

 

Some things around us are so common that we often just take them for granted, without paying any special attention to them, and ignore the silence of evolution about them. Consider a few such generally known, but scarcely pondered over things of animal behavior:

• Even aircraft and ships equipped with highly advanced and complex navigation instruments made by science lose their way, and because of this they suffer accidents. But a little bird, the pigeon, whose entire brain is not even the size of our thumb, never loses its location and direction; left off anywhere, it reaches its 'home'.

• There are some marine fish that very laboriously swim against the direction of the flow of water in freshwater rivers, going a great distance upstream just to lay their eggs. They lay their eggs at the same place in the river, where they had hatched from the eggs themselves and then had floated downstream with the water, reached the sea and grew into an adult in the sea, where it swims around from here to there. But, although so many rivers around the world end up in the ocean, it remembers the place of its birth, the river it hatched in, its geographical location, and reaches that precise place for laying its eggs. Who would teach these fishes this, tell the exact address of that place, and why? Why does it need to go into a freshwater river just to lay eggs; and that too into the exact river that it had hatched in?

• There are some butterflies in North America, which when the time comes for their egg laying, then millions of those butterflies, in swarms, travel about 2500 miles to Central and South America to just lay their eggs, and that is where their next generation is born. The new generation then automatically returns from there to areas of North America, where they live. And to give birth to their next generation, they then go back there to the south, and this cycle continues. Any rational explanation that evolutionists can give for this?

• There are some birds from the regions near the North Pole that fly thousands of miles to the south every year before the onset of cold. There they lay eggs and give birth to their next generation, and return to their cooler regions when winter ends and summer begins. How did this knowledge and understanding of Earth's geography and weather come to them? How do they come back every year to the same places where they were born? Whereas a man with much more advanced intelligence and abilities than them, easily gets lost even in a small forest, or even in his own city, being unable to remember or find the places around him!

• How do newly born insects or creatures, such as a spider, or lizard, or other animals, that are not raised by their parents, learn the art of recognizing and catching their food, immediately after being born? Who teaches the spider to make its wonderful web, that amazes science and scientists even today?

There are innumerable such things about nature, animals, and plants all around us, for which evolution or science has no satisfactory answer. For the above mentioned and other similar things, answers are avoided by the evolutionists, by calling them the natural behavior and instincts of animals; but no one is able to tell and explain how and why these so-called natural instincts “evolved” in them? Since they must have arisen in some past generation at some time, they must have come from somewhere; So, where and how did this “evolution” start?

But the God of the Bible tells us that these and all such qualities He has put in all creatures as part of His plan of creation; They are evidence of His intelligence, skill and abilities, and greatness. In the book of Job, which is about 4000 years old, God, on the basis of these things, questions Job and asks him if he has the knowledge and ability to understand and know all this (Job chapter 39).

Based on these things, God has rebuked His people for their disobedience to God. “Even the stork in the heavens Knows her appointed times; And the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow Observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of the Lord” (Jeremiah 8:7). While at the same time, He also advises us to learn from the qualities he has instilled in these small and seemingly insignificant creatures, "There are four things which are little on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise: The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer; The rock badgers are a feeble folk, Yet they make their homes in the crags; The locusts have no king, Yet they all advance in ranks; The spider skillfully grasps with its hands, And it is in kings' palaces” (Proverbs 30:24-28). There are many other similar passages and verses in the Bible that speak of God's wisdom and knowledge in everything in creation.

The Bible is not a book of fiction and imaginary tales, but the true Word of God. God has given to us only a limited revelation about Himself. What little He has revealed to us is so wonderful, astounding, and unparalleled, that David said, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it” (Psalm 139:6). God got written in His Word about what He has prepared for His people, once they are with Him after their earthly life, "But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9) - in simple words, the things about God and heaven are so wonderful that we cannot even imagine about them with our human intelligence and abilities.

Now it is up to you to decide whom you will believe, whom you will put your faith upon - those who avoid truth and teach contrived facts and things that keep changing in the name of “science”; Or on God who never changes, never tells lies, always wants and does everything for our best? Are you willing and ready to put your trust in the true, loving, Creator God who has loved us so much that He even sacrificed His Son for our salvation, so that we sinners who have been disobedient to Him, and been deliberately ignoring Him, may be reconciled to Him, may have the way to return back to Him? If you have made your decision in God's favor, a short prayer, "Lord Jesus, I confess that, in my mind, thought, attitudes, and behavior I have knowingly or unknowingly committed sins. I accept and believe that you have taken my sins upon yourself and fulfilled the punishment for my sins by your sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, for me. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, change my sinful mind and life and take me with you" said by you voluntarily, willingly, and sincerely, while repenting of your sins, will change your life, change you from being a sinner, into being a blessed child of God.

बाइबल और जीव-विज्ञान - 3 - क्रमिक विकास

इस शीर्षक के अंतर्गत पिछले दो लेखों में हम देख चुके हैं कि किस प्रकार से सारे संसार भर के ऊंचे पर्वतों की ऊंचाइयों पर पाए जाने वाले जल-जंतुओं के जीवाश्म (fossils) विद्यमान हैं, किन्तु थल के जंतुओं के जीवाश्म वहाँ विद्यमान नहीं हैं। यह तथा कुछ अन्य प्रश्न कि कब और कैसे रासायनिक एवं भौतिक क्रियाओं (chemical and physical reactions) द्वारा बने पदार्थों में “जीवन” आया; जीवन क्या है; और मृत्यु के समय शरीर से ऐसा क्या चला जाता है जिससे शरीर मृत कहा जाता है जबकि उसी मृत शरीर से लिए गए अंग, किसी अन्य में प्रत्यारोपित करके उस दूसरे शरीर के जीवन को बचाया जा सकता है, आदि - क्रमिक विकासवाद (evolution) के मानने वालों के लिए बड़ा और बिना समाधान का सिरदर्द बने हुए हैं, और उनके पास इनका कोई संतोषजनक उत्तर, वास्तव में कोई उत्तर ही नहीं है।

क्रमिक विकासवाद का दावा है कि समय के साथ, जीव-जंतुओं में होनी वाली आकस्मिक क्रियाएं उन्हें धीरे-धीरे विकसित करती चली गईं; कुछ आकस्मिक रीति से बने विशिष्ट रासायनिक पदार्थों के स्वतः ही आकस्मिक रीति से एकत्रित होने से उन्होंने आरंभिक अपक्क (crude) जीवों का रूप लिया, और फिर इसी आकस्मिक, अनियोजित, अनियंत्रित (sudden, unorganised, uncontrolled) क्रियाओं के होते चले जाने से वे अपक्क जीव उन्नत होते चले गए और अन्ततः इस वर्तमान स्वरूप में आ गए जैसे हम आज उन्हें देखते हैं। हम पिछले लेख में देख चुके हैं कि किसी भी उत्पाद के बनाए जाने में प्रयोग की जाने वाली रासायनिक क्रियाओं को कितनी बारीकी और ध्यान से नियोजित, नियंत्रित, और संचालित (plan and control) करना पड़ता है, अन्यथा कभी भी कोई भी दुर्घटना हो सकती है, सारी प्रक्रिया खराब हो सकती है। असमंजस की बात तो यह है कि कितने ही वैज्ञानिक और बुद्धिजीवी जो जीव-जंतुओं में होने वाली क्रियाओं से बहुत कम जटिल पदार्थों का उत्पादन करने वाली इन क्रियाओं को स्वयं योजनाबद्ध तरीकों से नियंत्रित और संचालित करते हैं, उन्हें यह स्वीकार करने में कोई संकोच नहीं होता है कि जीव-जंतुओं में होने और उन्हें उन्नत करने वाली ये क्रियाएं स्वतः ही अनियोजित और बिना नियंत्रण अथवा संचालन के संभव होती चली गईं!

साथ ही क्रमिक विकासवाद का यह भी दावा है कि यह उन्नत होते चले जाने की प्रक्रिया आज भी ज़ारी है, किन्तु क्योंकि यह बहुत धीमी और अप्रत्यक्ष है, इसलिए हमें दिखाई नहीं देती है। “बहुत” समय के बाद मनुष्यों तथा अन्य जीव-जंतुओं में होने वाली यह “उन्नति” दिखाई देगी। चलिए एक बार को, केवल तर्क के लिए, उनके इस स्पष्टीकरण को मान लेते हैं। यह एक साधारण समझ और सामान्य-ज्ञान की बात है कि किसी भी स्वतः ही होने वाली अनियोजित, अनियंत्रित, असंचालित क्रिया द्वारा, तुलनात्मक रीति से, चल रही प्रक्रिया को बाधित करने वाले या उसमें हानि उत्पन्न करने वाले कार्य अधिक, किन्तु लाभ उत्पन्न करने वाले कार्य कम ही मात्रा में होंगे। इसलिए संसार भर में सभी स्थानों पर ऐसे अविकसित और अपक्क जीव-जंतुओं के जीवाश्म बहुतायत से बिखरे हुए होने चाहिएं जिन में ये स्वतः होने वाली आकस्मिक, अनियोजित, अनियंत्रित, असंचालित क्रियाएं कुछ ऐसे परिवर्तन ले आईं जो उन्हें फिर जीवित नहीं रख सके या जिनसे उनकी आयु घट गई और वे बिना और उन्नत हुए शीघ्र ही समाप्त हो गए। यदि क्रमिक विकासवाद का यह सिद्धांत सही है, तो एक से दूसरी प्रजाति की ओर विकसित होते जाने वाले अपूर्ण जंतुओं के जीवाश्म भी बहुतायत से, पूर्ण जंतुओं के जीवाश्मों से अधिक, होने चाहिएँ, क्योंकि धीरे-धीरे एक पूर्णतः विकसित से दूसरी पूर्णतः विकसित प्रजाति में परिवर्तित होने में उन जंतुओं को अनेकों अपूर्ण, अपक्क स्वरूपों से होकर निकालना पड़ेगा। 

     किन्तु, इसके विपरीत, न केवल संसार भर में बहुत कम स्थानों में जीवाश्म पाए जाते हैं, और उन स्थानों पर पाए जाने वाले जीवाश्मों की संख्या भी अधिक नहीं होती है; वरन जो जीवाश्म पाए भी जाते हैं, वे पूर्णतः विकसित और सटीक जीवित रह सकने वाले जंतुओं के होते हैं। आज तक कभी कोई पूर्णतः अविकसित या अपक्क जन्तु का जीवाश्म नहीं मिला है, और न ही एक से दूसरी प्रजाति में परिवर्तित होते जा रहे किसी जन्तु का जीवाश्म मिला है। अपनी इस हताशा और कुंठा को छुपाने के लिए कुछ तथाकथित “वैज्ञानिकों” ने ऐसे अपूर्ण और अपक्क जीवाश्म स्वयं बनाकर संसार के सामने उनकी खोज का दावा करा है, जिनमें बंदरों और मनुष्यों के मध्य की कड़ी माने जाने वाले पिल्टडाउन मैन (Piltdown Man) के मानव निर्मित होने की बात जानी-मानी है (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piltdown_Man)। ऐसा ही एक प्रसिद्ध जीवाश्म है रेंगने वाले सरीसृप (reptiles) और पक्षियों के मध्य के जीव आर्कियोपटेरिक्स का जीवाश्म, जिसे पहले एक “मध्य-कड़ी” का जीवाश्म माना जाता था, किन्तु अब उसे, तथा अन्य स्थानों पर उसके समान जंतुओं के जीवाश्मों को अपने आप में पूर्णतः विकसित एक प्रकार के थोड़ा सा उड़ पाने वाले डायनोसौर की प्रजाति स्वीकार किया गया है (https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/archaeopteryx-flight-dinosaurs-birds-paleontology-science)। 

      आज लोग “विज्ञान” के नाम पर ऐसी असंभव और काल्पनिक बातों को तो सहज स्वीकार करने को तैयार हैं किन्तु हजारों वर्ष पूर्व लिखी गई परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल की बात, “फिर परमेश्वर ने कहा, पृथ्वी से एक एक जाति के जीवित प्राणी, अर्थात घरेलू पशु, और रेंगने वाले जन्तु, और पृथ्वी के वन-पशु, जाति जाति के अनुसार उत्पन्न हों; और वैसा ही हो गया” (उत्पत्ति 1:24) को स्वीकार करने के लिए तैयार नहीं हैं; यद्यपि वे प्रत्यक्ष अपने सामने देखते हैं कि हर एक जाति अपनी ही जाति के जीव-जंतुओं को उत्पन्न करती है। उस जाति के अन्तर्गत स्वरूप की भिन्नताएँ हो सकती हैं, किन्तु मुख्य जाति नहीं बदलती है। संसार भर में अनेकों स्वरूपों के कुत्ते, बिल्ली, घोड़े, बंदर आदि हैं; कोई भी जन उन्हें देखकर पहचान लेता है कि वे किस जाति के हैं, चाहे उनका स्वरूप कैसा भी हो। उनमें से उत्पन्न होने वाली अगली पीढ़ी भी अपनी ही जाति के अनुसार ही रहती है, बदलती नहीं है; एक से दूसरी जाति उत्पन्न नहीं होती है। मनुष्य ने कृत्रिम तरीकों से जातियों को मिश्रित करके नई जातियों को बनाने के प्रयास किए हैं, किन्तु सभी असफल रहे हैं। मूल जाति कभी नहीं बदलती है। परमेश्वर के नियम स्थापित, अपरिवर्तनीय और अकाट्य हैं। प्रमाण प्रत्यक्ष हैं, सर्व-विदित हैं, सहज स्वीकार्य हैं; किन्तु मनुष्य का दंभ उसे अपने ऊपर परमेश्वर की सार्वभौमिकता को स्वीकार नहीं करने देता है। 

      विज्ञान आज भी यह निर्णीत नहीं करने पाया है पहले मुर्गी आई या अंडा? किन्तु बाइबल के पहले ही अध्याय में, जो सृष्टि की रचना का संक्षिप्त इतिहास है, परमेश्वर ने बता दिया है कि पहले जीव-जन्तु बनाए गए, और फिर उन्हें अपनी जाति के अनुसार अगली पीढ़ी उत्पन्न करने की आशीष, क्षमता, और गुण दिया गया “फिर परमेश्वर ने कहा, जल जीवित प्राणियों से बहुत ही भर जाए, और पक्षी पृथ्वी के ऊपर आकाश के अन्तर में उड़ें। इसलिये परमेश्वर ने जाति जाति के बड़े बड़े जल-जन्तुओं की, और उन सब जीवित प्राणियों की भी सृष्टि की जो चलते फिरते हैं जिन से जल बहुत ही भर गया और एक एक जाति के उड़ने वाले पक्षियों की भी सृष्टि की: और परमेश्वर ने देखा कि अच्छा है। और परमेश्वर ने यह कह के उनको आशीष दी, कि फूलो-फलो, और समुद्र के जल में भर जाओ, और पक्षी पृथ्वी पर बढ़ें” (उत्पत्ति 1:20-22)। किन्तु फिर भी मनुष्य इस सीधी-सच्ची बात को स्वीकार करने के स्थान पर अपनी समझ का सहारा लेकर उलझन में फंसा पड़ा है, लेकिन परमेश्वर और उसके वचन बाइबल की सच्चाई को स्वीकार करने को तैयार नहीं है। 

     बाइबल में हजारों वर्ष पहले लिखे गए सृष्टि के इसी इतिहास में परमेश्वर ने यह भी बता दिया कि उसने मनुष्य की रचना मिट्टी से की “और यहोवा परमेश्वर ने आदम को भूमि की मिट्टी से रचा और उसके नथनों में जीवन का श्वास फूंक दिया; और आदम जीवता प्राणी बन गया” (उत्पत्ति 2:7), तथा यह भी निर्धारित कर दिया कि मनुष्य परिश्रम की रोटी खाएगा तथा मृत्यु के बाद वापस मिट्टी में मिल जाएगा “और अपने माथे के पसीने की रोटी खाया करेगा, और अन्त में मिट्टी में मिल जाएगा; क्योंकि तू उसी में से निकाला गया है, तू मिट्टी तो है और मिट्टी ही में फिर मिल जाएगा” (उत्पत्ति 3:19)। आज विज्ञान भी यह जानता और मानता है कि मनुष्य के शरीर की रचना करने वाले मूल तत्व (elements) सभी मिट्टी में ही पाए जाते हैं; और यह सभी का सामान्य प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव है कि मृत्यु के बाद, यदि उसके शव को स्वतः ही समाप्त होने दिया अजाए तो शरीर गल कर मिट्टी ही बन जाता है; किन्तु फिर भी मनुष्य को परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल की बातों पर विश्वास करना कठिन होता है। 

      परमेश्वर और उसके वचन के प्रति इस अविश्वास का मूल कारण है मनुष्य के स्वभाव और व्यवहार में बसा हुआ पाप - परमेश्वर और उसकी आज्ञाओं के प्रति विद्रोह और अनाज्ञाकारिता की भावना। पाप वह नहीं है जिसे हम सामान्यतः पाप समझते हैं, जैसे झूठ बोलना, चोरी करना, धोखा देना, व्यभिचार, कुदृष्टि, लालच, हत्या, आदि - ये और ऐसे सभी कार्य तो पाप के फल, उसके परिणाम हैं, जो प्रवृत्ति, समय, मनसा, और अवसर के अनुसार प्रकट होते रहते हैं। इन बातों को दबाने और हटाने के प्रयास करना झाड़ियों के पत्तों और डालियों के छँटाई करने किन्तु जड़ को वहीं छोड़ देने के समान है; उस जड़ में से फिर से उपयुक्त समय और परिस्थितियों में से वही झाड़ी फिर से बाहर आ जाएगी और फिर से वही दुष्कर्म करवाएगी।

      किन्तु प्रभु यीशु पर लाया गया विश्वास, उसे स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से समर्पित किया गया जीवन, प्रभु को उस व्यक्ति के जीवन से इस पाप की झाड़ी की जड़ उखाड़ने की अनुमति दे देता है, और फिर प्रभु उस व्यक्ति के जीवन में से पाप करने की प्रवृत्ति को नाश करके, उस को अंश-अंश करके अपने स्वरूप में बदलने लग जाता है, उसके जीवन को अपनी अनन्तकालीन आशीषों से परिपूर्ण करने लग जाता है। यह एक जीवन भर चलती रहने वाली प्रक्रिया है, किन्तु प्रभु को समर्पित जन पाप को पाप मानने लगता है, उसके लिए बहाने नहीं बनाता है, और न ही किसी और को दोषी ठहराता है, वरन पाप होने पर उसे प्रभु के सामने मान लेता है, प्रभु से उसकी क्षमा भी माँग लेता है, उस पाप में बना नहीं रहता है।

     क्या आप आज, अभी, स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से एक छोटी प्रार्थना “हे प्रभु यीशु मैं आप पर तथा मेरे पापों की कीमत चुकाने के लिए क्रूस पर आपके द्वारा दिए गए बलिदान पर विश्वास करता हूँ। कृपया मेरे पाप क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और अपना आज्ञाकारी, समर्पित जन बनाएं” करने के द्वारा प्रभु को अपने जीवन में से पाप की जड़ को उखाड़ने और उसके स्वरूप में ढालने की अनुमति देंगे; उसकी आशीषों के पात्र बनना स्वीकार करेंगे?

English Translation

Bible and BioSciences - 3 - Evolution

In the last two articles under this title, we have seen how there are fossils of water animals found on the heights of high mountainous regions, all over the world, but fossils of land animals living in the plains are not found there. This and some other questions e.g., when and how "life" came into the substances made by chemical and physical reactions; what is life; and what goes away from the body at the time of death, so that the body is said to be dead; whereas the organs taken from the same dead body, when transplanted into a living body can save the life of that other body and remain alive themselves, etc. remain a big and unresolved mystery and cause for headache for the believers in evolution. And they have no satisfactory answer, in fact, no answer at all for these and similar other questions.

Evolution claims that intermittently, over time, the spontaneously appearing things in animals gradually improved and evolved them. They claim that certain chemical substances formed accidentally, came together spontaneously resulting in the formation of initial crude organisms; and then through these spontaneously occurring, unorganized, uncontrolled and unregulated actions, these crude living beings progressed and eventually came into the present form as we see them today. We have seen in the previous article how closely and carefully the chemical reactions used in the making of any product have to be planned, controlled, and regulated, otherwise accidents and damages can happen at any time; and the whole process could get messed up. It is an irony that so many scientists and intellectuals, who well know that unless these activities are made to occur in a planned, systematic, and controlled manner, substances much less complex than the basic building blocks of all living things, can never be formed. But they have no hesitation in accepting and believing that spontaneous, unplanned, uncontrolled, unregulated activities gave rise to the highly complex basic building blocks of all living beings and also got the organisms to form, grow, improve and become even more complex!

Evolution also claims that this process of gradual progress continues even today, but because it is very slow and indirect, we do not see it. After a "long period of time,” this "progress" in humans and other animals will become visible. Just for argument’s sake, let's accept this explanation for once. It is a matter of common knowledge and common sense that relatively speaking, the chances of the consequences arising from any spontaneously occurring unplanned, uncontrolled, unregulated action, are far more for obstructing or harming an ongoing process than their being beneficial in any way to the process. Therefore, it is logical to assume that the fossils of such undeveloped and under-evolved animals, should be abundantly present and scattered all over the world, and at most, if not all places, in which these spontaneously occurring, unplanned, uncontrolled, unregulated processes brought some changes, but those changes could not help them stay alive, or decreased their lifespan, therefore they soon succumbed to these spontaneously happening changes, soon after the changes happened, without being able to evolve any further. If this theory of evolution is correct, then fossils of intermediate and imperfect animals that could only partially evolve from one fully developed species to another fully developed species, from one kind of living being to another, should also be plentiful, far more in numbers and variety than fossils of complete and fully formed and functional animals; because those living beings would have had to have to pass through many imperfect, under-developed forms in order to be fully transformed into a new kind of living being.

But, on the contrary, not only are fossils found in very few places around the world, and the number of fossils found in those places is also not high. Also, the fossils that are found are always of animals that could live as a fully developed animal, very well adapted and suited to its environment of that time. To date, no fossil of an undeveloped or under-evolved animal has ever been found, nor has the fossil of any “intermediate” animal that is in the process of changing from one species to another have ever been found. To hide their frustration on this count, some so-called "scientists" have claimed making discoveries of such “intermediate” forms in front of the world by “cooking up” such fossils of “intermediate” or under-evolved animals. An example of this “cooking up” is the Piltdown Man, considered to be the link between monkeys and humans. This is now well known and documented to be not an actual but a man-made “fossil” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piltdown_Man). Another such well-known and much touted about fossil is the fossil of Archaeopteryx, an animal said to be an “intermediate” between reptiles and birds. It was formerly considered a "missing-link" fossil, but now it, and fossils of similar animals found some in other places, have been accepted not as “intermediate” but fully developed type of a small flying dinosaur that could fly a little bit  (https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/archaeopteryx-flight-dinosaurs-birds-paleontology-science).

Today people are ready to accept such impossible and imaginary things, as proven and certain facts, in the name of "science" that time and again has been shown to be fallible, contrived, and changing. But they are not willing to accept the infallible, incontrovertible, ever truthful, and never changing Word of God the Bible, where thousands of years ago God had it written, "Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so” (Genesis 1:24); Although they see before themselves that each species always produces its own species. Within that species there may be variations of form, but the main species does not change. There are many types of dogs, cats, horses, monkeys etc. all over the world; Anyone looking at them recognizes which species they belong to, regardless of their appearance. Their every generation born from them also looks and lives according to their own parental species, never changes. One species does not ever arise from another; there is no “intermediate” or “partially-evolved” species of any living being anywhere on earth. Man has tried to create new species by mixing species by artificial means, but all have been unsuccessful. The original species never changes. God's laws are established, immutable, and irrefutable. The evidence is evident, open, simple and straightforward to accept. But man's conceit does not allow him to accept the sovereignty of God over himself.

Even today, science has not been able to decide whether the chicken came first or the egg? But in the very first chapter of the Bible, which is a brief history of the creation of the universe, God states that first creatures were created, and then they were given the blessing, ability, and quality to produce the next generation according to their race. “Then God said, ‘Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.’ So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth’” (Genesis 1:20-22). But still man remains confused because he believes in resorting to his own conjectures and understanding, instead of accepting this straightforward thing, from God and his Word, since he is not ready to accept the truth of the Bible.

In this same history of creation written thousands of years earlier in the Bible, God also told that He created man from dust “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being" (Genesis 2:7), and God had also stipulated that man would eat the bread of labor and after death would return to the dust “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). Today, science also knows and accepts that all the basic elements that make up the human body are found in the soil; And it is everyone’s common evident experience that after death, if the dead body is allowed to decompose on its own, then the body turns into dust. But still man finds it difficult to believe that which is written God's Word, the Bible.

The root cause of this disbelief in God and His Word is the sin inherent in man's nature and behavior – a tendency of rebellion and disobedience to God and His commands. Sin is not what we usually think of as sin, such as lying, stealing, deceiving, adultery, evil-sightedness, greed, murder, etc. - these and all such acts are the fruits or results of sin, which manifest in a person’s life, depending on his tendency, time, desires, and opportunity available. Trying to suppress and trim these things by any means, is like pruning the leaves and branches of the bush but leaving the root intact. From that root, at the appropriate time and in favorable circumstances, the same thorny bush of sin will grow out again and will again lead to the same misdeeds.

But the faith brought in the Lord Jesus, a life submitted to Him willingly and sincerely, allows the Lord to take away the roots of this bush of sin from that person's life, i.e., gives the Lord the opportunity to take away the tendency to sin from that person's life. After taking away this tendency, the Lord starts changing him bit by bit in into His own likeness, starts filling his life with His eternal blessings. This is a life-long process, but a person committed to the Lord now begins to consider sin as a sin, and does not make excuses for it, nor justifies it or blames anyone else, but confesses it to the Lord when he commits sin and realizes it. He asks the Lord for his forgiveness for that sin and does not persist in that sin.

Can I urge you now to please, willingly and sincerely say a short heartfelt prayer “Lord Jesus, I believe in you and your sacrifice on the cross to pay the price for my sins. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your obedient, committed follower” which will permit the Lord to pull out the root of sin from your life, and to begin to change you into His image. Are you willing to accept being a recipient of His blessings?

बाइबल और जीव-विज्ञान - 2 - जीवन और जीवित 

क्रमिक विकासवाद (Evolution) के मानने वालों के सामने अनेकों ऐसे प्रश्न हैं जिनका उनके पास कोई उत्तर नहीं है; कुछ ऐसे प्रश्नों को हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं। कुछ बहुत मूलभूत प्रश्न हैं: यदि पृथ्वी पर जीवन कुछ रासायनिक और भौतिक क्रियाओं (chemical and physical reactions) के कारण आरंभ हुआ था, और विकसित होते-होते जीव-जंतुओं और वनस्पति की वर्तमान उन्नत दशा में आ गया है, तो जीवन क्या है? यह जीवन इन रासायनिक और भौतिक क्रियाओं में कब और कैसे आया? क्या यह जीवन भी विकसित होता चला गया? 

आज तक इतनी विकसित, उन्नत, जटिल रासायनिक क्रियाएं मनुष्य ने बहुत ही नियंत्रित और योजनाबद्ध रीति से विभिन्न उत्पाद के बनाने के लिए संभव कर ली हैं, किन्तु इनमें “जीवन” डालना तो बहुत दूर की बात है, किसी भी क्रिया को अपने आप में स्वचालित तथा स्वतः ही उन्नत (self-sustaining, self-improving) करते जाने वाला नहीं बना सका। इन सभी क्रियाओं पर नियंत्रण, निरीक्षण, सुधार करते रहना पड़ता है, अन्यथा ये कभी भी बिगड़ कर भारी नुकसान कर डालती हैं। जब तक ये क्रियाएं निरीक्षण में नियंत्रित रहती हैं, लाभदायक  रहती हैं, किन्तु थोड़ी सी चूक, कुछ समय के निरीक्षण और नियंत्रण में अनदेखी, बहुत हानि कर देने की संभावना उत्पन्न कर देती है। 

ऐसा ही एक अन्य मूलभूत प्रश्न है कि क्रमिक विकास तथा विज्ञान के अनुसार अरबों वर्ष पहले पृथ्वी पर विद्यमान उच्च ताप, विभिन्न प्रकार के रासायनिक गैस और पदार्थ, तथा आकाशीय बिजली के कड़कने, आदि से कुछ ऐसे रासायनिक पदार्थ बन गए और फिर एक साथ आ गए, जिनके परस्पर क्रिया करने से फिर जीवित प्राणियों का उत्पन्न होना संभव हो पाया। कितनी विचित्र बात है, यदि आज उच्च ताप, उस प्रकार के रासायनिक पदार्थों, आकाशीय बिजली के समान बिजली के झटकों के संपर्क में कोई भी प्राणी आता है, तो उसमें विद्यमान हर पदार्थ बिगड़ और बिखर जाता है, जीवन समाप्त हो जाता है; किन्तु विज्ञान हमें सिखाता है कि आज जो जीवन को नष्ट करते हैं, उन्हीं बातों ने जीवित प्राणियों को उत्पन्न करने वाले पदार्थों की रचना की - जो आज उन्हीं क्रियाओं को झेल नहीं पाते हैं।

इन से संबंधित एक अन्य प्रश्न है, मृत्यु क्या है? क्यों और कैसे एक जीवित प्राणी “मृतक” दशा में आ जाता है? वर्तमान चिकित्सा-विज्ञान की यह एक बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि है कि मानव-अंगों का एक से दूसरे शरीर में प्रत्यारोपण और उसके द्वारा दूसरे के शरीर को जीवित रखना संभव है। किन्तु विडंबना यह है कि जिस “मृतक” शरीर में से वे अंग लिए गए हैं, उसमें से ऐसा क्या निकल गया, कि ये अंग “जीवित” होते हुए भी, दूसरे शरीर में प्रत्यारोपण के बाद ठीक से कार्यकारी होते हुए भी, अपने मूल शरीर को “जीवित” नहीं रखने पाए? मृतक शरीर को कितनी भी ऑक्सीजन, पोषक तत्व, दवाइयाँ, मशीनी सहायता से हृदय गति और श्वास क्रिया को चालू रखा जाए, किन्तु वह मृतक ही रहता है; किन्तु उसी शरीर से निकाले हुए अंग, दूसरे के शरीर को जीवित रखते हैं!

विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिक जानते हैं, किन्तु मानते नहीं हैं कि शरीर से यदि “आत्मा” चला जाता है, तो वह शरीर मृतक हो जाता है। यदि वे “आत्मा” की उपस्थिति और अनिवार्यता को मान लेंगे, तो उन्हें उस आत्मा को बनाने और देने वाले “परमात्मा” के अस्तित्व को भी स्वीकार करना पड़ेगा; जिसके आगे फिर क्रमिक विकासवाद और अन्य कई संबंधित धारणाएं टिक नहीं पाएंगी, और उन्हें यह भी स्वीकार करना पड़ेगा कि अंततः उन्हें उस परमात्मा के समक्ष खड़ा होना ही पड़ेगा। जो मनुष्य इस तथ्य को गंभीरता से विचार करके स्वीकार कर लेता है, उसके जीवन का दृष्टिकोण और दिशा ही बदल जाते हैं।

 

जिसे विज्ञान जानते हुए भी स्वीकार करने के लिए तैयार नहीं है, उसे बाइबल ने हजारों वर्ष पहले बता दिया था। इस संदर्भ में परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल के कुछ पद देखिए: 

• “और यहोवा परमेश्वर ने आदम को भूमि की मिट्टी से रचा और उसके नथनों में जीवन का श्वास फूंक दिया; और आदम जीवता प्राणी बन गया” (उत्पत्ति 2:7); 

• “क्योंकि अब तक मेरी सांस बराबर आती है, और ईश्वर का आत्मा मेरे नथुनों में बना है” (अय्यूब 27:3); 

• “मुझे ईश्वर की आत्मा ने बनाया है, और सर्वशक्तिमान की सांस से मुझे जीवन मिलता है” (अय्यूब 33:4); 

• “उसके हाथ में एक एक जीवधारी का प्राण, और एक एक देहधारी मनुष्य की आत्मा भी रहती है” (अय्यूब 12:10); 

• “ईश्वर जो आकाश का सृजने और तानने वाला है, जो उपज सहित पृथ्वी का फैलाने वाला और उस पर के लोगों को सांस और उस पर के चलने वालों को आत्मा देने वाला यहोवा है, वह यों कहता है” (यशायाह 42:5); 

• “न किसी वस्तु का प्रयोजन रखकर मनुष्यों के हाथों की सेवा लेता है, क्योंकि वह तो आप ही सब को जीवन और श्वास और सब कुछ देता है” (प्रेरितों 17:25); 

• “क्या मनुष्य का प्राण ऊपर की ओर चढ़ता है और पशुओं का प्राण नीचे की ओर जा कर मिट्टी में मिल जाता है? कौन जानता है?” (सभोपदेशक 3:21)

उपरोक्त पदों से यह स्पष्ट है कि जिस आत्मा या प्राण के अस्तित्व को स्वीकार करने का साहस विज्ञान और नास्तिक वैज्ञानिकों में नहीं है, मनुष्यों तथा सभी जीव-जंतुओं में उसके अस्तित्व के बारे में बाइबल को कोई संकोच नहीं है। जो तथ्य है, वो है। अस्वीकार करने या अवहेलना करने से वह तथ्य न तो लुप्त हो जाएगा, और न ही परिवर्तित होकर कोई भिन्न स्वरूप ले लेगा। 

जो विज्ञान यह आधारभूत बात सिखाता है कि जीवन से ही जीवन आ सकता है, वह जीवन और मृत्यु को परिभाषित करने तथा समझा पाने में, अपने ही द्वारा बनाए गए बंधनों के कारण अक्षम है, दुविधा में है; और अपनी ही बात का खण्डन करते हुए यह मनवाना चाहता है कि उन्हीं रासायनिक और भौतिक क्रियाओं ने, जिन्हें आज यदि किसी जीवित प्राणी पर लागू किया जाए तो वह मर जाएगा, “जीवन” उत्पन्न कर दिया।

विज्ञान जो भी कहे या स्वीकार-अस्वीकार करे, सामान्य ज्ञान और बाइबल का तथ्य यही है कि हमारी आत्माओं का दाता परमात्मा है, जिसके सामने हम सभी को अपने जीवनों का हिसाब देने एक दिन खड़ा होना ही है। उसके द्वारा दिया आत्मा, उसी के पास जाकर पृथ्वी पर बिताए अपने जीवन के प्रतिफल प्राप्त करता है। जो पाप के साथ जाता है, वह परमेश्वर से अनन्तकाल की दूरी, अनन्त मृत्यु, या नरक की अनन्त पीड़ा में जाएगा। जो पृथ्वी पर रहते अपने पापों को स्वीकार करके, उन के लिए अपने सृजनहार परमेश्वर से क्षमा मांगकर उद्धार पाएगा, वह परमेश्वर के साथ स्वर्ग में रहने जाएगा। स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से, पापों के लिए पश्चाताप के साथ की गई एक छोटी प्रार्थना “हे प्रभु यीशु मेरे पाप क्षमा करें, मुझे स्वीकार करें अपनी शरण में लें, और पाप के दोष से स्वच्छ करके अपना समर्पित, आज्ञाकारी जन बना लें” आपके जीवन की नियति और दिशा अनन्तकाल के लिए बदल देगी। परमेश्वर के इस आह्वान, इस निमंत्रण को ऐसे ही जाने न दें; अभी अवसर है, इसका सदुपयोग कर लीजिए, अपना शेष जीवन तथा परलोक का अनन्तकाल का जीवन सुरक्षित और सुखी कर लीजिए।

English Translation

Bible and BioSciences - 2 - Alive & Living

There are many questions confronting the believers of evolution, for which they have no answer; and we have seen a few such questions in the earlier articles. There are some very fundamental questions: If life on Earth started due to some chemical and physical reactions, and as it “evolved'' it has come to the present advanced state of fauna and flora, then what is life? When and how did this ‘life’ come about into these chemical and physical processes, and become an integral part of them? Has this entity called ‘life’ also progressed or “evolved”?

Till date, man has developed and refined so many advanced, complex chemical reactions to make various products; all of them in a very controlled and planned manner and environment. But forget about putting "life" into them, man has never been able to make these processes self-sustaining, self-regulating, and self-improving. All these actions have to be controlled, monitored, and regulated, otherwise they can get out of hand, out of control anytime and cause heavy losses. As long as these actions are controlled, regulated, and supervised, they remain beneficial; but any small mistake, any neglect of observation, supervision, and control for even a little while, creates the possibilities of a great harm; nothing gets better, everything only deteriorates towards a catastrophe.

Another such fundamental question is that according to evolution and science, billions of years ago, due to high temperature, different types of chemical gases and substances, and atmospheric lightnings, etc., certain chemical substances were formed, which then came together, and interacted with each other, making it possible for life to begin and living beings to arise. What a strange thing, if today any living creature comes in contact with high temperature, many of the chemical substances often found around us, electric shocks like the very high voltage atmospheric lightning, etc. then every matter present in that creature gets spoiled and disintegrates, life ends for it. But science teaches us that the very things that harm and destroy life today, actually created the substances that produced the living beings - and today those living things cannot withstand the very things and processes which started them off.

Another related question is, what is death? Why and how does a living being convert from “living” into the "dead" state? It is a great achievement of current medical science that it is possible to transplant human organs from one body to another and thereby keep those organs as well as the body of another alive. But the problematic question is what has gone out of the "dead" body from which those organs were taken? These organs, despite being "alive" and functioning properly, as they do after transplantation in another body, why couldn't they keep their original body, from which they were removed, "alive"? No matter how much oxygen, nutrients, medicines, mechanical aids are given, and the heart rate and breathing are maintained by machines, still a dead body stays dead. But the organs removed from the same “dead” body and transplanted into another “living” body not only remain alive themselves, but keep the body of another alive!

Science and scientists know, but do not accept that if the "spirit" leaves the body, then that body becomes dead. Because if they accept the presence and necessity of the “spirit” for life, they must also accept the existence of the “Parmatma”, the Supreme Spirit, who creates and gives that spirit. And then, in front of this, the notion of gradual evolution and many other related concepts will not be able to survive. Moreover, they will also have to accept that eventually they will have to stand before that divine Supreme Spirit. The person who considers this fact seriously and accepts it, the outlook and direction of his life changes from believing and living in conjectures, into facing reality.

What contrived “science” is not being shown as willing to accept, despite well knowing it, was told by the Bible thousands of years ago. In this context, look at some of the Bible verses of God's Word:

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being" (Genesis 2:7);

“As long as my breath is in me, And the breath of God in my nostrils” (Job 27:3);

“The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life” (Job 33:4);

“In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?” (Job 12:10);

“Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it” (Isaiah 42:5);

“Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things” (Acts 17:25);

“Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?" (Ecclesiastes 3:21).

It is clear from the above verses that the spirit or soul, whose existence atheist scientists and their contrived “science” do not have the courage to accept, the Bible has no hesitation about accepting and stating its existence in humans and all living beings. That which is a fact, will always be a fact. By rejecting, ignoring, or disregarding, that fact will neither be lost, nor will it change into something else.

The very science that teaches this fundamental concept that life can only come from life, is incapable of defining and explaining life and death; and because of the limitations it has put around itself, it is in a dilemma about life. So, refuting its own point of view, it wants to impose the belief that those same chemical and physical processes, which today if applied to any living creature would kill it, had given rise to "life", all on their own, through random processes.

Whatever science may say or accept, it is common knowledge and Biblical fact that the giver of our souls is God, before whom we all have to stand one day to give an account of our lives. The soul given by Him, eventually goes to him and receives the rewards of its life spent on earth. The soul that goes from this earth with its sins, because while it was on earth it always chose not to be reconciled with the Savior Lord God, will, as per its decision, go into eternal separation from God, i.e., eternal death, or the eternal torment of hell. The soul who is saved by confessing his sins while on earth, and seeking forgiveness from his Creator God for them, who has reconciled with the Savior Lord God, will go to live with God in heaven. A voluntarily said short but sincere prayer, with repentance for sins "Lord Jesus forgive my sins, accept me, take under your care, and cleanse me from the guilt of sin and make me a person, obedient and committed to you" Will change the eternal destiny and direction of your life will change for eternity. Do not waste this opportunity, this call from God. Now is the opportunity, make good use of this invitation, to make the rest of your life on earth, and your eternal life in the next world safe, secure, and blissful.
