परमेश्वर पर विश्वास करना – 5
इस अध्ययन में, वर्तमान में हम इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई छः आरम्भिक बातों में से दूसरी, “परमेश्वर पर विश्वास करना” पर विचार कर रहे हैं; प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को इन बातों को जानना चाहिए। हम देख चुके हैं कि प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी में परमेश्वर के प्रति एक दृढ़ और अडिग विश्वास होना चाहिए, अन्यथा शैतान उन्हें परमेश्वर के गुणों, विशेषताओं और चरित्र के बारे झूठी शिक्षाओं के द्वारा बहका, भरमा देगा। इस विषय पर विचार करते हुए हम देख चुके हैं कि परमेश्वर आत्मा है, अदृश्य है, लेकिन उसने अपने विषय अपनी सृष्टि में प्रमाण रख छोड़े हैं, जिस से कि जो उसके बारे में सीखना चाहते हैं वे सीख सकें। उसने सभी लोगों को एक खुला निमंत्रण दिया है कि वे उसकी जाँच कर लें और उस में विश्वास करने के विषय स्वयं अपने निष्कर्ष बना लें। हमने देखा है कि यद्यपि वह एक धीरजवन्त और विलम्ब से क्रोध करने वाला परमेश्वर है, और जो अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करके उनके लिए उस से क्षमा माँगते हैं, वह उन्हें क्षमा कर देता है, लेकिन साथ ही वह एक न्यायी परमेश्वर भी है; और जो अपने पापों के लिए उस से क्षमा प्राप्त नहीं करते हैं, उन्हें अन्ततः उसके सामने न्याय के लिए खड़ा होना पड़ेगा और अपने पापों के परिणाम भुगतने पड़ेंगे। पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि परमेश्वर स्थान/space, पदार्थ, ऊर्जा, और समय का सृष्टिकर्ता है; उनके ऊपर है, और अपने उद्देश्यों एवं योजनाओं के अनुसार इन सभी को नियंत्रित करता है। आज हम परमेश्वर की एक और महत्वपूर्ण विशेषता पर ध्यान करेंगे, कि वह सर्वव्यापी है, अर्थात वह हर समय हर स्थान पर विद्यमान रहता है।
दाऊद ने भजन 139:7-12 में लिखा, “मैं तेरे आत्मा से भाग कर किधर जाऊं? या तेरे सामने से किधर भागूं? यदि मैं आकाश पर चढूं, तो तू वहां है! यदि मैं अपना बिछौना अधोलोक में बिछाऊं तो वहां भी तू है! यदि मैं भोर की किरणों पर चढ़ कर समुद्र के पार जा बसूं, तो वहां भी तू अपने हाथ से मेरी अगुवाई करेगा, और अपने दाहिने हाथ से मुझे पकड़े रहेगा। यदि मैं कहूं कि अन्धकार में तो मैं छिप जाऊंगा, और मेरे चारों ओर का उजियाला रात का अन्धेरा हो जाएगा, तौभी अन्धकार तुझ से न छिपाएगा, रात तो दिन के तुल्य प्रकाश देगी; क्योंकि तेरे लिये अन्धियारा और उजियाला दोनों एक समान हैं।” दाऊद इस बात का अँगीकार कर रहा है कि ऐसा कोई स्थान नहीं है, न आकाश में, न अधोलोक, न समुद्र के पार, जहाँ पर परमेश्वर नहीं है, और अँधकार भी किसी को उस से छुपा नहीं सकेगा। पिछले लेख में यह उल्लेख किया गया था कि बाइबल का परमेश्वर इसलिए भी अनुपम है क्योंकि वह असीम है। एक सीमित बुद्धि केवल सीमित बातों के बारे में ही सोच सकती है, कल्पना कर सकती है; और वही कह सकती है जो स्थान और समय से सीमित हों, जैसे कि मसीही विश्वास के अतिरिक्त अन्य सभी विश्वास अथवा मान्यताओं में जो भी ईश्वर हैं वे सभी स्थान और समय की सीमाओं के अन्तर्गत ही काम करते हैं, और उनके काम उन्हें मानने वाले लोगों की भौगोलिक सीमाओं तक ही सीमित रहते हैं। किन्तु क्योंकि बाइबल का परमेश्वर मनुष्य की बुद्धि और कल्पना की उपज नहीं है, इसलिए वह किसी भी स्थान या भौगोलिक सीमाओं से सीमित नहीं है। दाऊद द्वारा लिखे गए ये पड़ इस बात का एक और प्रमाण हैं कि बाइबल का परमेश्वर किसी स्थान या भौगोलिक सीमा से सीमित नहीं है; वह हर स्थान पर हर समय विद्यमान, सक्रिय, और उपलब्ध है; व्यक्ति चाहे जहाँ पर भी हो।
यह प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को इस बात के लिए आश्वस्त करता है कि वे सँसार में कहीं भी हों, यदि वे बाइबल के परमेश्वर की ओर मुड़ेंगे, तो वे कभी भी उसे अनुपस्थित नहीं पाएंगे, निराश नहीं होंगे। वे चाहे कहीं पर भी हों, जब वे उसे पुकारेंगे तो परमेश्वर उनकी सुनने और उनकी सहायता करने और उन्हें सँकट से छुड़ाने के लिए सदा वहाँ पर होगा। उस ने प्रतिज्ञा दी है “संकट के दिन मुझे पुकार; मैं तुझे छुड़ाऊंगा, और तू मेरी महिमा करने पाएगा” (भजन 50:15)। वास्तव में बाइबल का तथ्य यही है कि हमारा, अर्थात समस्त सृष्टि का अस्तित्व परमेश्वर ही में है, जैसा कि पौलुस ने पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में दो स्थानों पर कहा है – प्रेरितों 17:28 “क्योंकि हम उसी में जीवित रहते, और चलते-फिरते, और स्थिर रहते हैं...” और कुलुस्सियों 1:17 “और वही सब वस्तुओं में प्रथम है, और सब वस्तुएं उसी में स्थिर रहती हैं।” इसलिए किसी को भी यह नहीं सोचना चाहिए कि परमेश्वर कहीं दूर है, पहुँच से परे रहता है, और ऐसा है जिसके निकट नहीं जाया जा सकता है। परमेश्वर हमेशा ही निकट रहता है, और जो भी उसे सच्चे और समर्पित मन से पुकारता है, वह उसे उपलब्ध रहता है (2 इतिहास 33:12-13; भजन 91:15; 107:6, 13)। वह हमेशा ही सहायता करने के लिए तैयार रहता है, यदि लोग उसके आज्ञाकारी होकर वैसा करने को तैयार रहें जैसा वह उनकी पुकार के प्रत्युत्तर में उन्हें करने के लिए कहता है।
परमेश्वर की यह विशेषता सभी के सामने एक बड़ी चेतावनी भी रखती है – चाहे वह विश्वासी हो अथवा नहीं। क्योंकि परमेश्वर हर स्थान पर हर समय विद्यमान है, इसलिए प्रत्येक, हर समय उसकी ध्यान से देखते रहने वाली दृष्टि में बना रहता है, और परमेश्वर के ध्यान से कुछ नहीं छूटता है। परमेश्वर उनकी सहायता और सुरक्षा के लिए भी उन पर अपनी दृष्टि बनाए रख सकता है, साथ ही, उस को भी देखता रहता है वे भला या बुरा, जो भी कर रहे हैं। इसलिए, जब भी लोग उसके सामने खड़े होंगे, उन्हें हर एक बात का हिसाब देना होगा (2 कुरिन्थियों 5:10)। परमेश्वर के सर्वव्यापी होने का यह गुण उनके लिए जो उस पर विश्वास करते हैं, बहुत आश्वस्त करने वाला है, और यह उस पर विश्वास करने वाले विश्वासियों को यह भरोसा देता रहता है कि जिस पर उन्होंने विश्वास किया है वह हर बात के लिए सदा उनके पास, सहज से उपलब्ध रहता है। यह हमें परमेश्वर की एक और विशेषता पर ले जाता है, कि वह सर्वज्ञानी भी है; क्योंकि वह हर समय, हर स्थान पर विद्यमान है, इसलिए वह हर बात के बारे में सब कुछ जानता है; व्यक्ति जो भी करे, कहीं भी जाए, किसी से भी मिले, कुछ भी कहे, आदि; और हम अगले लेख में परमेश्वर के सर्वज्ञानी होने के बारे में देखेंगे।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Faith Towards God - 5
In this study, presently, we are considering having “Faith Towards God” which is the second of the six elementary principles given in Hebrews 6:1-2, that every Christian Believer should know. We have seen that every Believer should have a firm, unshakeable faith in God and His Word, else Satan will be able to beguile them by bringing in false teachings and creating doubts in them about the attributes, characteristics, and character of God. In our considerations of this topic, we have seen that though God is Spirit, is invisible, yet He has placed proofs about Himself in His creation, so that those who want to can always learn about Him. He has given an open invitation for all people to check Him out and draw their own conclusions about coming to faith in Him. We have also seen that though He is patient and longsuffering, willing to forgive those who repent of their sins and ask His forgiveness for them, yet He is also a just God, and those who do not obtain His forgiveness for their sins from Him, eventually will have to face Him as their judge, and bear the consequences of their sins. In the last article we saw that God is the creator of space, matter, energy, and time; and is over and above them all, controlling them all according to His plans and purposes. Today we will look at another important characteristic of God, He is omnipresent, i.e., He always is present everywhere.
David, in Psalm 139:7-12 writes, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.” David acknowledges that there is no place, not in heaven, or hell, or way beyond the sea, where the presence of God is not there, and even darkness will not hide anyone from Him. In the last article it was mentioned that the God of the Bible is unique in being infinite. A finite mind can only think of and imagine finite things; and only talk of things that are finite in time and locality, like all the deities of every belief other than the Christian Faith function under the limits of time and their activities have been presented as localised to the geographical area of the people believing in them. But since the God of the Bible is not a product of human mind and imagination, He is not limited by time or space. These verses from David are a further proof that the God of the Bible is not limited by space or any geographical location; He is present, active, and available everywhere, anywhere a person may be.
This assures everyone, anywhere in the world, that when they turn to the Lord God of the Bible, they will never be disappointed because of His absence. Wherever they may be, God is always there to listen to them, to help them, and to deliver them when they cry out to Him. He has promised “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me” (Psalm 50:15). Actually, the Biblical fact is that we, i.e., all of creation have our existence in God, as Paul has said under the guidance of the Holy Spirit at two places – Acts 17:28 “for in Him we live and move and have our being…” and Colossians 1:17 “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” So, no one need fear God ever being far away, inaccessible, and unapproachable. God is always at hand and available to everyone who calls out to Him with a honest and surrendered heart (2 Chronicle 33:12-13; Psalm 91:15; 107:6, 13). He is always willing to extend a helping hand, provided people are willing to obey Him and do as He asks them to do, when they call out for His help.
This characteristic of God also places a great caution before everyone – whether a Believer or not. Since God is always present everywhere, therefore, everyone is always under God’s watchful eyes and nothing escapes His attention. God can be watching over them to protect and help them, as well as keeping an eye on whatever right or wrong they may be doing. Therefore, when people stand before Him, they will have to give an account of each and everything (2 Corinthians 5:10). This omnipresent attribute of God is not only reassuring for those who trust in Him, but it also gives His Believers confidence in their “Faith Towards God” that they believe in and belong to the God who is always at hand, never far from them. This leads us to another related characteristic of God, that He is omniscient, i.e., since He is everywhere all the time, therefore He knows everything about everything; whatever anyone does, wherever they go, whoever they meet whatever they say etc.; and we will consider God being omniscient in the next article.
If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life. Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
