पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा; और पिछले कुछ लेखों से हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है। इन आरंभिक लेखों में हम सही सुसमाचार क्या है, यह देख और समझ रहे हैं, जिससे गलत या भ्रष्ट को पहचान सकें, स्वयं भी उस से बच कर रह सकें तथा औरों को भी बचा सकें। इसके लिए हमें पहले बाइबल में सुसमाचार के बारे में दी गई सही शिक्षाओं को समझना होगा। पिछले लेखों में हमने देखा है कि सुसमाचार संसार के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के लिए है, चाहे उसका धर्म, धारणा, मान्यता कुछ भी हो; ईसाइयों या मसीहियों के लिए भी। सभी को उसके लिए व्यक्तिगत रीति से निर्णय लेना है। सुसमाचार कोई रीति, या परंपरा, या विधि नहीं है जिसके निर्वाह के द्वारा व्यक्ति इतना धर्मी बन जाता है कि परमेश्वर उसे स्वर्ग में स्वीकार करने के लिये बाध्य हो जाता है। सुसमाचार सारी मानव-जाति के लिये परमेश्वर द्वारा उपलब्ध करवाई गई जानकारी है कि प्रभु यीशु में होकर सभी के लिये, चाहे वह किसी भी धर्म, जाति, समुदाय, आयु, धरना, आदि का क्यों न हो, पापों से मुक्ति या उद्धार, सेंत-मेंत में उपलब्ध है। सुसमाचार का व्यक्ति के जीवन में कार्यकारी होना उसके सच्चे समर्पित मन से अपने पापों के लिए पश्चाताप और प्रभु यीशु से पापों के क्षमा माँगकर उसे समर्पित हो जाने से आरंभ होता है। आज हम इस सुसमाचार के विषय परमेश्वर की योजना के बारे में देखेंगे।  

सुसमाचार - सृष्टि के आरंभ से भी पहले परमेश्वर द्वारा स्थापित 

बहुधा लोगों की यह धारणा रहती है कि प्रभु यीशु में पापों की क्षमा और उद्धार तथा उससे संबंधित आशीषों का यह सुसमाचार नए नियम, या प्रभु यीशु के आगमन और सेवकाई के साथ आरंभ हुआ है। संसार के बहुत से लोग तो प्रभु यीशु के विषय यह धारणा भी रखते हैं कि वह एक भक्त यहूदी था, जिसके जीवन से उस समय के बहुत से लोग बहुत प्रभावित हुए थे, और उसके बाद, उसके अनुयायियों ने उसके नाम में कुछ शिक्षाओं और बातों को बना कर फैला दिया, जिनमें से एक यह उसके नाम में विश्वास द्वारा पापों से क्षमा और उद्धार की बात भी है। किन्तु बहुत कम लोगों को यह पता है कि इस सुसमाचार का उल्लेख पुराने नियम में भी है, और इसका आरंभ सृष्टि के पहले से है। परमेश्वर का वचन बाइबल हमें सुसमाचार में होकर परमेश्वर की इस उद्धार की योजना के विषय सामान्य धारणाओं और विचारों से बहुत भिन्न तथ्य प्रदान करती है। बाइबल के इन तथ्यों को देखना आरंभ हम सुसमाचार के संक्षिप्त रूप, उसके सार को परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में प्रेरित पौलुस द्वारा कुरिन्थुस की मण्डली को लिखी गई पहली पत्री में से देखने के साथ करते हैं: हे भाइयों, मैं तुम्हें वही सुसमाचार बताता हूं जो पहिले सुना चुका हूं, जिसे तुम ने अंगीकार भी किया था और जिस में तुम स्थिर भी हो। उसी के द्वारा तुम्हारा उद्धार भी होता है, यदि उस सुसमाचार को जो मैं ने तुम्हें सुनाया था स्मरण रखते हो; नहीं तो तुम्हारा विश्वास करना व्यर्थ हुआ। इसी कारण मैं ने सब से पहिले तुम्हें वही बात पहुंचा दी, जो मुझे पहुंची थी, कि पवित्र शास्त्र के वचन के अनुसार यीशु मसीह हमारे पापों के लिये मर गया। ओर गाड़ा गया; और पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार तीसरे दिन जी भी उठा (1 कुरिन्थियों 15:1-4)। 

ये पद इस बात को स्पष्ट कर देते हैं कि उद्धार के सुसमाचार का मर्म, प्रभु यीशु मसीह का पृथ्वी पर आना, मानव-जाति के पापों के लिए मारा जाना, गाड़ा जाना, और तीसरे दिन जी उठना, इनमें से कोई भी बात आकस्मिक या अनपेक्षित नहीं थीं। वरन, ये सारी बातें जो हुईं, वे सभी “पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार” ही हुईं; अर्थात पवित्र शस्त्र में, जो उस समय वर्तमान का पुराना नियम था, पहले से ही लिखी हुई थीं, और उन्हीं भविष्यवाणी की बातों की पूर्ति प्रभु यीशु के जीवन के द्वारा हुई!

आने वाले लेखों में हम देखेंगे कि सुसमाचार पुराने नियम में दिया गया है, और सृष्टि के समय से ही स्थापित है। 

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

The Gospel - Established Even Before Creation (1)

In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. Now, recently we have started to take up the wrong teachings about the Gospel. In the introductory articles on this topic, we had seen what the true gospel is, so that we will be able to identify the false or the corrupted gospel, so that we can remain safe from it, and keep others also safe. For this we first need to know, learn, and understand the correct or Biblical things about the Gospel. We have seen in the previous articles that the gospel is for each and every one, whatever be the person's religion, concepts, beliefs; even for the Christians. Everyone has to make a personal decision about the gospel for themselves.  The gospel is an information from God for all of mankind, irrespective of religion, caste, creed, age, belief etc. for being saved from sins freely through the Lord Jesus. It is not a tradition, ritual, or method, the fulfillment of which enables a person to reach a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” so that God becomes compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. The Gospel becomes effective and working in a person’s life by his repenting of his sins, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive him, and surrendering his life to the Lord Jesus. Today we will see since when this plan of salvation for mankind had been prepared and put in place by God.

Gospel - Established by God since before the creation

Many people have this misconception that this gospel of forgiveness of sins and salvation along with its related blessings started with the New Testament, with the coming of the Lord Jesus and His ministry. Many people of the world also have this wrong notion that the Lord Jesus was actually a very devout Jew, and people were very impressed by His life at that time. After He was gone, His disciples added some things into His life-story, and then spread their concocted story; and one of the additions was that believing in His name will bring forgiveness of sins and salvation from God. But very few people know that the Gospel has been mentioned in the Old Testament as well, and its beginning is since before the creation. God’s Word the Bible provides to us a very different picture than what is commonly thought and believed by people regarding the gospel and salvation. Let us begin by looking into the Biblical facts about salvation from what the apostle Paul wrote in his first letter to the Corinthians Believers under the guidance of the Holy Spirit: Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

These verses make it clear that the core of the gospel of salvation, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth, His sacrificing Himself for the sins of the entire mankind, His death, burial, and resurrection, none of these things were unforeseen, unexpected, or unplanned. Rather, all these things that happened, they were “according to the Scriptures” - all of them. They had all been written down in the then Scriptures, which is the present day “Old Testament” section of the Bible, these prophecies were fulfilled by the Lord Jesus in His lifetime.

We will continue considering about the gospel being stated in the Old Testament, established at creation in the coming articles. 

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

सुसमाचार क्या है? (2)

हमने पिछले लेखों में 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 से देखा है कि शैतान, लोगों को भरमाने और भटकाने, गलत शिक्षाओं में डालने, और परमेश्वर से दूर रखने के लिए, तीन मुख्य विषयों पर सबसे अधिक हमले करता है। ये तीन विषय हैं प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार से सम्बन्धित शिक्षाएँ। हम इन तीन में से पहले दो विषयों को अभी तक देख चुके हैं, और अब पिछले लेख से हमने तीसरे विषय, सुसमाचार, के बारे में देखना और सीखना आरम्भ किया है। पिछले लेख में हमने सुसमाचार के परिचय के रूप में देखा था कि सुसमाचार शब्द का अर्थ है अच्छा या भला समाचार; और यह अच्छा या भला है, क्योंकि सारे संसार पर एक बुरा समाचार लागू है - समस्त मनुष्य जाति पाप के अधीन है, और परिणामस्वरूप नरक की ओर अग्रसर है। इसीलिए यह अच्छा या भला समाचार है कि पाप का और उसके परिणाम नरक का स्थाई समाधान संसार के सभी लोगों के लिए सेंत-मेंत और बहुत ही सहज रीति से उपलब्ध है - स्वेच्छा से, सच्चे मन से पापों से पश्चाताप करके प्रभु यीशु मसीह का आज्ञाकारी शिष्य बनकर, प्रभु को समर्पित जीवन जीना। आज हम सुसमाचार के इसी परिचय को और आगे बढ़ाते हुए, सुसमाचार से सम्बन्धित एक और महत्वपूर्ण बात को देखेंगे। 

इसीलिए भला समाचार या अच्छी खबर सभी मनुष्यों के लिए है कि परमेश्वर ने ही मनुष्यों के लिए इस अनन्त मृत्यु, सदा काल के नरक से बचने का मार्ग बनाकर दे दिया है, संसार के सभी लोगों के लिए उसे सेंत-मेंत उपलब्ध करवा दिया है, और सभी को उसमें आने का खुला निमंत्रण दे रखा है। अब केवल मनुष्य को परमेश्वर के इस प्रयोजन पर विश्वास करके, उसे स्वीकार करना है। इस संदर्भ में एक बार फिर बाइबल में रोमियों की पत्री से कुछ पद देखिए:

* रोमियों 5:15 पर जैसा अपराध की दशा है, वैसी अनुग्रह के वरदान की नहीं, क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध से बहुत लोग मरे, तो परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह और उसका जो दान एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात यीशु मसीह के अनुग्रह से हुआ बहुतेरे लोगों पर अवश्य ही अधिकाई से हुआ।

* रोमियों 5:17 क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कारण मृत्यु ने उस एक ही के द्वारा राज्य किया, तो जो लोग अनुग्रह और धर्म रूपी वरदान बहुतायत से पाते हैं वे एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अवश्य ही अनन्त जीवन में राज्य करेंगे।

* रोमियों 5:18 इसलिये जैसा एक अपराध सब मनुष्यों के लिये दण्ड की आज्ञा का कारण हुआ, वैसा ही एक धर्म का काम भी सब मनुष्यों के लिये जीवन के निमित धर्मी ठहराए जाने का कारण हुआ।

* रोमियों 5:19 क्योंकि जैसा एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा न मानने से बहुत लोग पापी ठहरे, वैसे ही एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा मानने से बहुत लोग धर्मी ठहरेंगे।

तो सभी मनुष्यों के लिए, समस्त मानव जाति के लिए, सुसमाचार, या भला समाचार, यानि कि अच्छी खबर यह है कि किसी को भी उसकी पाप की दशा में बने रहने और पाप के उस दण्ड को भुगतने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने इससे छुटकारे का मार्ग बनाकर, उस मार्ग को सभी के लिए सेंत-मेंत उपलब्ध करवा दिया है। अब निर्णय प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को लेना है कि वो परमेश्वर के इस प्रयोजन को स्वीकार करेगा या अस्वीकार; परमेश्वर द्वारा धर्मी और पाप के दोष से मुक्त बनाया जाएगा, या फिर इसके लिए अपने ही व्यर्थ और निष्फल प्रयासों में पड़ा रहेगा, और अनन्तकाल की मृत्यु में चला जाएगा। परमेश्वर किसी के साथ ज़बरदस्ती नहीं करता है। वह हर एक को उसकी स्वेच्छा पर छोड़ देता है; वह उसे उसके जीवन भर याद दिलाता रहता है, पुकारता रहता है, समझाता रहता है कि जैसे भी हो, जिस भी दशा में हो, तुमने कुछ भी क्यों न किया हो, अपने व्यर्थ और निष्फल प्रयासों को छोड़कर तैयार किए गए आशीषित मार्ग पर आ जाओ, क्योंकि शरीर से निकल जाने के बाद फिर निर्णय कभी बदला नहीं जा सकेगा, इसलिए अभी सही निर्णय कर लो। किन्तु जो परमेश्वर की इस पुकार को अस्वीकार कर देते हैं, उसके मार्ग का तिरस्कार कर देते हैं, परमेश्वर उनके इस निर्णय, उनकी इस स्वेच्छा का आदर करता है, और उन्हें उनके द्वारा निर्णय लिए हुए स्थान पर भेज देता है। जिन्होंने अपने शारीरिक जीवन में पश्चाताप के साथ परमेश्वर के साथ हो जाने का निर्णय लिया है, वे उसके साथ स्वर्ग में रहने के लिए ले जाए जाएंगे; और जिन्होंने सब कुछ जानते हुए भी, अवसर मिलने पर भी परमेश्वर से दूर रहने का निर्णय लिया, वो हमेशा के लिए उससे दूर नरक में डाले जाएंगे। 

संक्षेप में, यही सुसमाचार है, कि परमेश्वर का राज्य निकट है; आज, अभी समय और अवसर रहते अपने लिए सही निर्णय कर लो, और अपने कैसे भी कर्मों या धर्म-कर्म आदि के द्वारा नहीं वरन सच्चे और समर्पित मन से किए गए पापों से पश्चाताप तथा प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करने के द्वारा अपने अनन्त काल को सुरक्षित एवं आशीषित कर लो। इस सुसमाचार की योजना के बारे में हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे। किन्तु यहाँ पर बहुत ध्यान से इस बात को देख और समझ लीजिए - सुसमाचार का केंद्र-बिन्दु और उसका मर्म है “अपने कैसे भी कर्मों या धर्म-कर्म आदि के द्वारा नहीं वरन सच्चे और समर्पित मन से किए गए पापों से पश्चाताप तथा प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करने के द्वारा”; यदि यह सुस्पष्ट नहीं समझाया गया है, तो सुसमाचार कार्यकारी, प्रभावी, परमेश्वर की ओर से दिया गया नहीं है। इसीलिए शैतान सुसमाचार के इसी केंद्र-बिन्दु, इसी मर्म पर विभिन्न प्रकार से हमला करता है, उसमें तरह-तरह की बातें मिला कर उसे भ्रष्ट करता है, उस पर ध्यान लगाने की बजाए इधर-उधर की बातों में भटकाता है, जिससे व्यक्ति सुसमाचार की सिधाई और सच्चाई से हट कर और ही बातों में पड़ जाए, और उद्धार पाने से रह जाए। उसकी इन्हीं युक्तियों को हम आगे के लेखों में देखेंगे। 

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़े हों। यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें। 

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

In the previous articles we have seen from 2 Corinthians 11:4 that Satan, to deceive and mislead people away from God, most commonly attacks the teachings about three main topics. These three topics are, the teachings about the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel. So far, we have considered the first two topics, and now, since the last article we have begun to consider and learn about the third topic, the teachings about the Gospel. In the last article, as an introduction to the gospel, we had seen that the literal meaning of the word gospel is ‘good news;’ and it is good news, because a bad news is applicable to the whole world - that all of mankind is under sin, consequently is headed to hell. Therefore, this good news, that a permanent solution for sin is freely and very easily available to everyone - voluntarily, sincerely, repent of sins and become an obedient disciple of the Lord Jesus, to live a life surrendered to Him. Today, we will carry on with this introduction of the gospel, and see another very important aspect of the gospel.

Therefore, the ‘good news’ is also for everyone, that God has made ready and freely available the way for mankind to be delivered out of this eternity in hell. God has extended an open invitation to everybody to accept this way and be saved. Now, all that man has to do is believe on God’s provision and accept it by faith. Once again, let us see some verses about it from the letter to the Romans in the Bible:

* Romans 5:15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

* Romans 5:17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

* Romans 5:18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

* Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

So, for everybody, for all of mankind, the ‘good news’ or the Gospel is that no one needs to stay in their state of sin and suffer for it, because God has prepared a way for deliverance and made it freely available to everyone, without having to pay anything for it. Now everyone has to decide for himself, whether or not he wants to accept or reject this provision made available by God. Every person has to decide whether he wants to be made righteous and sinless by God, or wants to persist in his own vain and fruitless efforts of becoming righteous and sinless, and eventually end up in hell for eternity. God does not force anyone; He has left the decision in each person’s hands. God, throughout a person’s lifetime, will keep reminding the person, keep on calling out to him, keep on trying to make him understand to return back to God, no matter how bad the sinful condition of the person may be. It is God’s assurance that whatever state you are in, whatever you may have done, just leave your own vain and fruitless efforts at becoming righteous, and turn back to God, believe in and accept the way He has provided through the Lord Jesus; do it now while you have the time and opportunity, because once you are dead, are out of this body, then all opportunity is lost and the condition can never be reverted, therefore take the right decision, now, while you can. But those who reject God’s repeated pleas, reject God’s provision, reject His way of salvation, God then honors their decision, and leaves them to their decision, sending them to the place they knowingly and willingly chose to be in for eternity, while they were living on earth. Those who have repented of their sins and decide to follow the Lord God during their life-time on earth, they will be brought into heaven to be with the Lord God for eternity; and those who despite knowing everything, despite being given ample opportunities, chose to reject God’s ways and stay away from Him, will, according to their decision be sent to the place of being separate from God, i.e., to hell.

This, in brief, is the Gospel, that God’s kingdom is at hand; today, now, while you have the time and opportunity, take the right decision for your eternity. Neither your religion, not even the Christian religion, nor any kind of good works, nor fulfilling of any rituals and traditions, but only a sincere repentance for sins and coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will save you and secure your eternity in heaven with God. We will look into this plan of salvation in some more detail in the next article. But here, pay great attention and very carefully understand this very important point that the crux of the Gospel, its pivotal point is the fact that “not by any works, religion, or rituals, but only through a sincere repentance of sins, an actually surrendered heart to the Lord Jesus, and full faith in Him can one be saved”; if this has not been clearly stated, then the Gospel has not been given and accepted in the effective, applicable, and worthy manner, as God desires it to be. Therefore, Satan attacks this pivotal point, this crux of the Gospel; mixes all sorts of things into it and corrupts it, does not let the minds of the people dwell on it but keeps beguiling their minds into various other things, so that the person gets side-tracked from the simplicity of the Gospel, does not accept it, and misses the opportunity to be saved. In the subsequent articles, we will see the tricks that Satan plays to accomplish his nefarious designs.

If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about the Holy Spirit; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.

सुसमाचार क्या है? (1)

हम पिछले लेखों से देखते आ रहे हैं कि बालकों के समान अपरिपक्व मसीही विश्वासियों की एक पहचान यह भी है कि वे बहुत सरलता से भ्रामक शिक्षाओं द्वारा बहकाए तथा गलत बातों में भटकाए जाते हैं (इफिसियों 4:14)। इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं को शैतान और उस के दूत झूठे प्रेरित, धर्म के सेवक, और ज्योतिर्मय स्‍वर्गदूतों का रूप धारण कर के बताते और सिखाते हैं (2 कुरिन्थियों 11:13-15)। ये लोग, और उनकी शिक्षाएं, दोनों ही बहुत आकर्षक, रोचक, और ज्ञानवान, यहाँ तक कि भक्तिपूर्ण और श्रद्धापूर्ण भी प्रतीत हो सकती हैं, किन्तु साथ ही उनमें अवश्य ही बाइबल की बातों के अतिरिक्त भी बातें डली हुई होती हैं। जैसा परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में लिखवाया है, यदि कोई तुम्हारे पास आकर, किसी दूसरे यीशु को प्रचार करे, जिस का प्रचार हम ने नहीं किया: या कोई और आत्मा तुम्हें मिले; जो पहिले न मिला था; या और कोई सुसमाचार जिसे तुम ने पहिले न माना था, तो तुम्हारा सहना ठीक होता, इन भ्रामक शिक्षाओं और गलत उपदेशों के, मुख्यतः तीन विषय, होते हैं - प्रभु यीशु मसीह, पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार। साथ ही इस पद में सच्चाई को पहचानने और शैतान के झूठ से बचने के लिए एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भी दी गई है, कि इन तीनों विषयों के बारे में जो यथार्थ और सत्य हैं, वे सब वचन में पहले से ही बता और लिखवा दिए गए हैं। इसलिए बाइबल से देखने, जाँचने, तथा वचन के आधार पर शिक्षाओं को परखने के द्वारा सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है। 

पिछले लेखों में हमने इन गलत शिक्षा देने वाले लोगों के द्वारा, पहले तो प्रभु यीशु से संबंधित सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं को देखा; फिर उसके बाद, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा से संबंधित सामान्यतः बताई और सिखाई जाने वाली गलत शिक्षाओं की वास्तविकता को वचन की बातों से देखा; और पिछले लेखों से हमने सुसमाचार से संबंधित गलत शिक्षाओं के बारे में देखना आरंभ किया है, इस विषय के परिचय को देखा है। इस परिचय में हमने देखा है कि प्रभु यीशु का सुसमाचार किसी सांसारिक राज्य, संपत्ति अथवा संपन्नता के बारे में नहीं है, वरन परमेश्वर के राज्य में मनुष्य के प्रवेश प्राप्त करने के बारे में है। इस प्रवेश के लिए सबसे पहला कदम है प्रत्येक व्यक्ति द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रीति से अपने पापों से पश्चाताप करना, जो सभी के लिए समान रीति से अनिवार्य है, चाहे वे किसी भी धर्म, धारणा, मान्यता, या समुदाय के हों, चाहे अपने आप को पिछली कई पीढ़ियों “प्रभु के लोग” अर्थात ईसाई या मसीही होना ही क्यों न समझते हों। आज हम यहाँ से आगे बढ़ेंगे और देखेंगे कि सुसमाचार क्या है। 

सुसमाचार क्या है?

 

जैसा हम पिछले लेख में देख चुके हैं, सुसमाचार शब्द का अर्थ है भला समाचार या अच्छी खबर। यह लोगों को प्रदान की जाने वाली जानकारी है; यह कोई प्रथा, परंपरा, या विधि नहीं है जिसे करने के द्वारा व्यक्ति धार्मिकता के किसी विशेष स्तर पर पहुँच जाता है, और परमेश्वर फिर उसे अपने राज्य में प्रवेश देने के लिए बाध्य हो जाता है। संसार के लिए सुसमाचार अच्छा समाचार तब ही हो सकता है, जब उसकी तुलना में कुछ बुरा समाचार भी हो, और वह बुरा समाचार सारे संसार के सभी लोगों पर लागू हो; अन्यथा सुसमाचार वास्तव में सुसमाचार हो ही नहीं सकता है। इस “बुरे समाचार” को हम परमेश्वर के वचन बाइबल के कुछ पदों से देखते हैं:

* रोमियों 3:23 इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया है और परमेश्वर की महिमा से रहित हैं।

* रोमियों 5:12 इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया।

* रोमियों 6:23 क्योंकि पाप की मजदूरी तो मृत्यु है, परन्तु परमेश्वर का वरदान हमारे प्रभु मसीह यीशु में अनन्त जीवन है। 

अर्थात, संसार का प्रत्येक मनुष्य, उस पाप के दोष के साथ जन्म लेता है, जो अदन की वाटिका में आदम और हव्वा के पाप करने से मनुष्य जाति में प्रवेश कर गया था, अनुवांशिक रीति से उनमें बस गया था, जो एक से दूसरी पीढ़ी में फैलने वाला दोष था। उस पाप के कारण मृत्यु ने सृष्टि में प्रवेश किया, और मृत्यु सभी मनुष्यों में फैल गई। यह मृत्यु दो प्रकार की है - आत्मिक और शारीरिक। आत्मिक मृत्यु के कारण मनुष्य परमेश्वर की संगति और सहभागिता से दूर है; और शारीरिक मृत्यु के कारण वह अन्ततः एक दिन मरेगा ही। परिणामस्वरूप मनुष्य जन्म लेते ही मरना आरंभ कर देता है, और उसकी आयु पूरी हो जाने पर मर जाता है। मनुष्य अपनी स्वाभाविक पापमय दशा में ऐसा कुछ भी कर पाने के अयोग्य है जिसके द्वारा वह अपनी इस परिस्थिति को पलट सके, अपने किन्हीं कर्मों अथवा प्रयासों के द्वारा परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी और उसे स्वीकार्य बन सके। हम इस विषय को विस्तार से पहले के कुछ लेखों में देख चुके हैं, इसलिए यहाँ इन पर और अधिक चर्चा नहीं करेंगे। अर्थात, बुरी खबर या बुरा समाचार यह है कि संसार में जन्म लेने वाला प्रत्येक मनुष्य अपनी स्वाभाविक पापी दशा के कारण परमेश्वर से दूर, और अपना जीवन काल समाप्त हो जाने के पश्चात अनन्त मृत्यु, यानि कि हमेशा के लिए परमेश्वर से दूर नरक में रहने की दशा में है।

समस्त मानव जाति के लिए भला समाचार क्या है, इसे हम अगले लेख में देखेंगे। 

यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर के सुसमाचार से संबंधित किसी गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़े हों। यह सुनिश्चित कर लीजिए कि आप सच्चे पश्चाताप और समर्पण तथा सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु से पापों की क्षमा के द्वारा परमेश्वर के जन बने हैं। न खुद भरमाए जाएं, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें, यदि सही हों, तब ही उन्हें मानें, अन्यथा अस्वीकार कर दें। 

यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Understanding What the Gospel is (1)

We have been seeing in the previous articles that one of the ways the childlike, immature Christian Believers can be identified is that they can very easily be deceived, beguiled and misled by wrong doctrines and false teachings. Satan and his followers bring in their wrong doctrines and misinterpretations of God’s Word through people who masquerade as apostles, ministers of righteousness, and angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These deceptive people and their false messages, their teachings appear to be very attractive, interesting, knowledgeable, even very reverential and righteous; but there is always something or the other that is extra-Biblical or unBiblical mixed into them. These wrong teachings and false doctrines are mainly about three topics - the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel, as God the Holy Spirit got it written down through the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! In this verse a very important way to identify between the false and the correct, discern between them, and escape from being beguiled by Satan is also given - that which is the truth about these three topics has already been given and written in God’s Word. Therefore, by cross-checking every teaching and doctrine from the Bible, the true and the false can be discerned; that which is not already present in God’s Word is false, and their preacher is a preacher of satanic deceptions.

In the previous articles, after seeing some commonly preached and taught false things about the Lord Jesus, next we had seen the Biblical facts and teachings about the wrong things often taught and preached regarding the Holy Spirit. In the preceding articles we had started to consider the wrong teachings about the Gospel, and had gone through the Introduction to this topic. In this Introduction we had seen that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus is not about any earthly kingdom, wealth or prosperity, but about man being able to enter the kingdom of God. We had seen that the first step to man’s entering God’s kingdom is his repenting of sins, which is equally important and applicable for everybody, no matter what their religion, beliefs, concepts, or community may be; even if their family has been “christian” for many generations and they may be considering themself as “people of God.” Today we will proceed ahead from here, and see what the Gospel is.

What is the Gospel?

As we have seen in the previous article, the literal meaning of the word Gospel is ‘good news.’ It is an information being provided to the people; it is not a tradition, ritual, or method the fulfillment of which enables a person to reach a higher level of being “religious” or “righteous” so that God becomes compelled to give him an entrance into His kingdom. Any news or information can be seen as good for the whole world, only when there is ‘bad news’ in comparison; and that ‘bad news’ is universally applicable to all people of the world. Only then can ‘good news’ actually be the good news for the entire world. What this ‘bad news’ is, we will see from some verses from God’s Word the Bible:

* Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

* Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned

* Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    In other words, every person born in this world, is born with sin, which entered into mankind because of the sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and this sin has the tendency to be genetically passed down, spreading to all generations of mankind since then. Because of that sin, death entered creation, and spread to all of mankind. This death is of two kinds, spiritual and physical. Because of spiritual death man is separated from the fellowship of God; and because of physical death, every person will eventually die. Consequently, every person begins to die from the moment of his birth, and the process is completed with the completion of his life-span. In his natural sinful state, man is absolutely incapable of doing anything to overturn this condition that he is in, and thereby to become righteous and sinless in God’s eyes, become acceptable to Him, through any of his own works or efforts. We have already seen this in detail in some of the earlier articles, therefore, we will not go into the details of it now. Therefore, the ‘bad news’ is that every person born on earth, in his natural condition, is separated from God, and in a state of being eternally separated from God in hell after his time on earth is over.

       पिछले लेख स हमने 2 कुरिन्थियों 11:4 में उल्लेखित तीन बातों में से तीसरी बात, सुसमाचार के बारे में देखना आरम्भ किया है। हम पहले के लेखों में देख चुके हैं कि ये तीन बातें, अर्थात प्रभु यीशु मसीह, परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा, और सुसमाचार वे तीन विषय हैं जिन पर शैतान, गलत शिक्षाओं के द्वारा, सबसे अधिक हमला करता है, उन्हें भ्रष्ट करने का भरसक प्रयास करता है। इनमें से पहली दो बातों को देख लेने के बाद, पिछले लेख से हमने तीसरी बात, सुसमाचार पर विचार करना आरम्भ किया है। हमने देखा था कि शब्द "सुसमाचार" का शब्दार्थ होता है 'अच्छा समाचार' और इस शब्द का सबसे उल्लेख मत्ती 4:23 में आया है, जहाँ पर प्रभु यीशु मसीह की सेवकाई का आरम्भ दिया गया है।  यहाँ से, पिछले लेख में हमने देखा था कि प्रभु की सेवकाई से सम्बन्धित दो महत्वपूर्ण बातें हैं, जिनका हमें अनुसरण करना है। पहली बात, जिस हम पिछली बार देख चुके हैं, है कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने पृथ्वी पर अपनी सेवकाई का आरम्भ तीन पृथक एवं भिन्न बातों को करण करने साथ किया - उन्होंने परमेश्वर के राज्य बारे में सिखाया, सुसमाचार का प्रचार किया, तथा बीमारों को चँगा किया। ये प्रभु की सेवकाई के तीन भाग थे, परन्तु ये तीनों एक ही नहीं हैं, जैसा हम पिछले लेख में देख चुके हैं। इसलिए, इनमें से चँगा करने को अत्यधिक महत्व देना, और सुसमाचार प्रचार करने तथा परमेश्वर के राज्य के बारे सिखाने की अनदेखी करना, या कम महत्व देना, प्रभु की सेवकाई के नमूने से सुसंगत नहीं है। और हमें अपनी सेवकाई के लिए प्रभु की सेवकाई के नमूने का ही अनुसरण करना है। आज हम कही गई दूसरी बात के बारे में विचार करेंगे।

 

       (2) दूसरी बात, सुसमाचार एक राज्य के बारे में है, किसी व्यक्ति, धारणा, धर्म, रीति-रिवाज़, या परंपरा के बारे में नहीं है। प्रभु ने अपनी पृथ्वी की सेवकाई का आरंभ सुसमाचार प्रचार के साथ किया, और अपने उस उदाहरण के द्वारा हमें उस सुसमाचार प्रचार का स्वरूप प्रदान किया: उस समय से यीशु प्रचार करना और यह कहना आरम्भ किया, कि मन फिराओ क्योंकि स्वर्ग का राज्य निकट आया है (मत्ती 4:17)। यहाँ हम देखते हैं कि प्रभु द्वारा किए जाने वाले प्रचार या उपदेश का विषय था “... मन फिराओ क्योंकि स्वर्ग का राज्य निकट आया है”; और यही सुसमाचार का स्वरूप है। और यह इसीलिए सुसमाचार या अच्छी खबर है क्योंकि यह शीघ्र ही नष्ट हो जाने वाली इस नाशमान पृथ्वी और उसकी सभी नाशमान बातों से बचाए जाकर, अविनाशी परमेश्वर के अनन्तकालीन राज्य और उसकी अनन्त आशीषों में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने तथा सदा काल तक उसके साथ रहने के बारे में है (1 यूहन्ना 2:15-17)। सुसमाचार इस पृथ्वी पर किसी राज्य, या किसी शारीरिक उपलब्धि, या भौतिक संपत्ति अथवा संपन्नता के बारे में नहीं है। वह परमेश्वर के राज्य के बारे में है, जो निकट आ गया है, स्थापित होने वाला है; और जो कोई उसमें प्रवेश चाहता है, उसके प्रवेश पाने का पहला कदम पश्चाताप करना है। किसी भी व्यक्ति द्वारा बिना पापों से पश्चाताप किए सुसमाचार में कोई प्रगति या स्वीकृति नहीं है।

 

       ध्यान करें कि प्रभु यीशु ने यह प्रचार यहूदियों, यानि कि परमेश्वर की चुनी हुई प्रजा के लोगों के, जो पीढ़ियों से परमेश्वर की व्यवस्था, अपने धर्म के पर्वों, भेंटों, बलिदानों, आदि का पालन करते थे, उनके मध्य में करना आरंभ किया। इसी से प्रकट है कि पश्चाताप करना सभी के लिए है, चाहे वे “प्रभु परमेश्वर के लोग” ही क्यों न हों, जो चाहे कितनी भी पीढ़ियों से अपने धर्म की मान्यताओं, परंपराओं, और रीति-रिवाजों को मानते-मनाते चले आ रहे हों। परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश उन्हें केवल पश्चाताप से आरंभ करने के द्वारा ही प्राप्त होगा, किसी भी अन्य बात के आधार पर नहीं। साथ ही यह भी साधारण और स्पष्ट बात है कि पश्चाताप हमेशा ही हर व्यक्ति के द्वारा व्यक्तिगत रीति से अपने ही पापों के लिए किया जा सकता है। माता-पिता या पूर्वजों का किया गया पश्चाताप उनकी संतानों के लिए कार्यकारी नहीं होता है; और न ही परिवार के किसी सदस्य का उद्धार पाना और परमेश्वर की निकटता में बढ़ना, परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों को उद्धार प्रदान करता है।

 

       यदि आप एक मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो आपके लिए यह जानना और समझना अति-आवश्यक है कि आप प्रभु परमेश्वर से संबंधित किसी भी बात के बारे में गलत शिक्षाओं में न पड़े हों या पड़ जाएं; न खुद भरमाए जाएँ, और न ही आपके द्वारा कोई और भरमाया जाए। लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाले ही नहीं, वरन वचन में लिखी हुई बातों पर भी ध्यान दें, और लोगों की बातों को वचन की बातों से मिला कर जाँचें और परखें। यदि आप इन गलत शिक्षाओं में पड़ चुके हैं, तो अभी वचन के अध्ययन और बात को जाँच-परख कर, सही शिक्षा को, उसी के पालन को अपना लें।

 

       यदि आपने अभी तक प्रभु की शिष्यता को स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी उसके पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। यदि आपने अभी तक नया जन्म, उद्धार नहीं पाया है, प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा नहीं माँगी है, तो अभी आपके पास समय और अवसर है कि यह कर लें। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” परमेश्वर आपके साथ संगति रखने की बहुत लालसा रखता है तथा आपको आशीषित देखना चाहता है, लेकिन इसे सम्भव करना आपका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय है। सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी। क्या आप अभी समय और अवसर होते हुए, इस प्रार्थना को नहीं करेंगे? निर्णय आपका है।

Wrong Teachings Related to the Gospel - Introduction (2)

 

       Since the previous article, we have started to look up the third of the three things mentioned in 2 Corinthians 11:4, that Satan tries his utmost to correct through wrong teachings, i.e., the Gospel. In the preceding articles, we have already considered the other two things named in this verse, i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ, and God the Hoy Spirit. In the last article we have seen that the word Gospel literally means 'Good News.' This term, preaching the gospel has been used for the first time in Matthew 4:23, where the beginning of the ministry of the Lord Jesus is first mentioned. From this, we also saw in the last article that there are two important things related to the Lord's ministry that we must follow. The first, which we considered last time, is that the Lord Jesus began His earthly ministry by doing three separate and different things - taught about the Kingdom of God, preached the gospel, and healed the sick. These were the three components of His ministry; but these three are not one and the same thing, as we saw in the previous article. Therefore, giving excessive importance to healings, and neglecting preaching the gospel and teaching about the Kingdom of God, are not consistent with the pattern given to us to follow through the Lord's ministry. Today, we will take up and consider the second thing.

        (2) The second thing is that the Gospel is about a kingdom; it is not about any person, concept, religion, rites and rituals, or traditions. The Lord began His ministry with the preaching of the Gospel, and through that example has provided to us the form of preaching the Gospel: From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17). We see from this that the theme of the Lord’s preaching was “...Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”; and that is what the preaching of the Gospel should be about. And, it is a ‘good news’ because it is about being saved from the soon to be destroyed world and all its things that will perish with it, and being delivered into the eternal kingdom of God, its blessings, and being with Him forever (1 John 2:15-17). The Gospel is not about establishing any kingdom on earth, or about some temporal accomplishment, or about gaining any physical wealth and prosperity. It is about the kingdom of God that is now at hand, ready to be established; and whoever wants to be a part of it, the first step for entry is to repent. Without repentance from sins no person can ever be accepted or grow in the Gospel.

        Take note, the Lord Jesus began His preaching amongst the Jews, i.e. the chosen people of God, who for generations had been observing and following the Law, and the religious festivals, sacrifices and offerings prescribed in it. This by itself makes it evident that repentance is mandatory for everyone, even for the people of God, for those who for many generations have been observing and following the ideas, traditions, rites and rituals, feasts and festivals of their religion. The first step for entry into God’s kingdom is repentance; that is the one and only basis and without repentance no one can enter the kingdom of God. This is also an evident and straightforward fact that a person can repent only for his own sins. The repentance of the parents or forefathers is ineffective for the children and the subsequent generations. Similarly, the salvation of a person in the family and his growing in the nearness and knowledge of God, does not save the other members of the family, nor make the others grow in the nearness of God.

        If you are a Christian Believer, then it is very essential for you to know and learn that you do not get beguiled and misled into wrong teachings and doctrines about anything; neither should you get deceived, nor should anyone else be deceived through you. Take note of the things written in God’s Word, not on things spoken by the people; always cross-check and verify all messages and teachings from the Word of God. If you have already been entangled in wrong teachings, then by cross-checking and verifying them from the Word of God, hold to only that which is the truth, follow it, and reject the rest.

        If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord Jesus, then take a decision in its favor now to secure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. The Lord's security and blessings are present where there is obedience of the Lord, where His Word is honored and followed. If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the time and opportunity to do so right now. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins, and voluntarily and sincerely surrender yourselves into His hands - this is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. All you have to do is say a short prayer, voluntarily and with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude. You can do this in this manner, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. One prayer said with a sincere and surrendered heart will turn your present and future, your life here on earth and in the next world, forever and make you heavenly and blessed. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so? The decision is yours.
