पवित्र आत्मा का प्रमाण - आज्ञाकारिता, या चिन्ह और चमत्कार?
पिछले लेख में हमने देखा है कि मनुष्य द्वारा परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करने और उसके कार्य करने के लिए परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में परमेश्वर की आज्ञाकारिता का ही सर्वोपरि स्थान है। हम यह भी देख चुके हैं कि परमेश्वर अपने सभी अनुयायियों से कुछ न कुछ कार्य चाहता है, और उसने वे कार्य पहले से ही निर्धारित भी किए हुए हैं, तथा उस सेवकाई के लिए उपयुक्त सामर्थ्य एवं योग्यता प्रदान करने के लिए मसीही विश्वासी में सर्वदा निवास करने वाला परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को आवश्यक वरदान भी देता है। यह बाइबल का स्थापित तथ्य है कि उद्धार पाते ही, वास्तविकता में नया जन्म पाया हुआ मसीही विश्वासी बनते ही, उसी पल से परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा उद्धार पाए हुए व्यक्ति में आकर निवास करने लग जाता है; और व्यक्ति में उनकी उपस्थिति उस व्यक्ति के बदल हुए जीवन तथा पवित्र आत्मा के फलों के दिखने लग जाने के द्वारा प्रमाणित हो जाती है (मत्ती 7:15-20)। ये सभी परमेश्वर द्वारा पूर्व-निर्धारित और उसकी योजना के अनुसार दी जाने वाली बातें हैं, जिनके लिए किसी भी उद्धार पाए हुए जन को अलग से कोई प्रयास अथवा प्रार्थनाएं करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
किन्तु फिर भी पवित्र आत्मा के नाम से अनेकों प्रकार की गलत शिक्षाएं और अनुचित धारणाएं बताने-सिखाने वाले लोग, मसीही विश्वासी में पवित्र आत्मा के होने को लेकर लोगों में भ्रम और संदेह उत्पन्न करते रहते हैं, और पवित्र आत्मा की उपस्थिति प्रमाणित करने के लिए व्यक्ति में विभिन्न बातों के होने की अनिवार्यता को सिखाते हैं, नाहक उन पर बल देते रहते हैं। इन गलत शिक्षाओं को सिखाने वाले लोगों द्वारा कही जाने वाली बातों में से एक है पवित्र आत्मा पाए हुए व्यक्ति में अद्भुत चिह्न और चमत्कार करने की सामर्थ्य होना। निःसंदेह चिह्न और चमत्कार करने की सामर्थ्य देना परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा दिए जाने वाले वरदानों में से एक है; किन्तु बाइबल में ऐसी कोई शिक्षा नहीं है कि यह वरदान प्रत्येक मसीही विश्वासी को दिया जाएगा, या, किसी व्यक्ति में इस गुण की उपस्थिति उसमें पवित्र आत्मा होने का प्रमाण है। वरन, इसके ठीक विपरीत, परमेश्वर ने पुराने और नए नियम, दोनों में अपने लोगों को सचेत किया है कि वे चिह्न और चमत्कारों के द्वारा लोगों को भरमाने और परमेश्वर से दूर कर देने वालों से सावधान रहें, उनके छल में फंस न जाएं, और परमेश्वर के वचन को ही वास्तविकता को जाँचने की खरी कसौटी के समान प्रयोग करें।
यह न केवल बाइबल का, वरन सामान्य जीवन का भी एक व्यावहारिक सत्य है कि शैतान और उसके दूत भी अद्भुत कार्य, चिह्न और चमत्कार, जादू-टोना, भावी कहना, आदि करने की सामर्थ्य रखते हैं और इनके द्वारा लोगों को प्रभावित करते हैं, अपने वश में लाते हैं, और परमेश्वर के वचन की सच्चाई एवं वास्तविकता से बहका देते हैं, गलत मार्गों पर भटका देते हैं। बाइबल ऐसे कुछ लोगों के बारे में बहुत स्पष्ट बताती है जिनमें ऐसा करने की योग्यता और इसके द्वारा समाज पर उनका प्रभाव होना यह प्रमाणित करता है कि उनमें कुछ ऐसी शक्तियां थीं जिनके द्वारा वे ये सब किया करते थे। अन्यथा, यदि उनमें ये सब करने की शक्ति नहीं होती तो लोग क्यों उन्हें मानते और उनके अधीनता में आते? और साथ ही जब परमेश्वर ने उनके साथ न जाने, उनसे दूर रहने के लिए निर्देश दिए, तो यह प्रकट है कि उन लोगों की शक्ति परमेश्वर की ओर से नहीं थी, वरन परमेश्वर के बैरी और विरोधी शैतान की ओर से थी।
इस संदर्भ में बाइबल से ही कुछ उदाहरणों को देखते हैं:
मूसा तथा हारून ने परमेश्वर की आज्ञाकारिता और सामर्थ्य से जो चिह्न फिरौन के सामने दिखाए, फिरौन के ‘पंडितों और टोन्हा’ करने वालों ने भी वही करके दिखा दिया (निर्गमन 7:8-12, 19-22; 8:5-7)।
परमेश्वर ने अपनी व्यवस्था में भावी कहने वालों, शुभ-अशुभ मुहूर्तों को मानने वालों, टोन्हा करने वालों, और तांत्रिकों, आदि से दूर रहने को कहा (व्यवस्थाविवरण 18:9-14)।
राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने अपने दरबार में ज्योतिषी, तन्त्री, टोन्हे, आदि रखे हुए थे; किन्तु अब वे परमेश्वर द्वारा दिखाए गए स्वप्न को नहीं बूझ सके (दानिय्येल 2:2-7; 4:4-7)।
शमौन टोन्हा करने वाला लोगों को अपनी विद्या और कार्यों से चकित करता था, और लोग इतने प्रभावित थे कि उसमें ईश्वरीय शक्ति होने की बात करते थे (प्रेरितों 8:9-11)।
पौलुस ने एक दासी में से भावी कहने वाली आत्मा को निकाला, जो भावी कहा करती थी (प्रेरितों 16:16-18)।
मसीही विश्वास में आने से पहले जादू करने वालों ने मसीही विश्वास में आने के बाद अपनी पुस्तकें लाकर जलाईं (प्रेरितों 19:18-19); अर्थात उनकी विद्या मानी, सीखी, और सिखाई जाती थी। अन्यथा उस समय में जब सभी पुस्तकें बड़े परिश्रम से हाथों से लिखी जाती थीं, तो ऐसी बातों के लिए जो मिथ्या और प्रमाण-रहित थीं, पुस्तकें क्यों लिखी जातीं? उन पुस्तकों की बातों में चाहे सब कुछ न सही, किन्तु कुछ तो यथार्थ होगा, जिसके द्वारा जन-साधारण को प्रभावित एवं वशीभूत किया जाता था।
परमेश्वर पवित्र आत्मा ने पौलुस द्वारा थिस्सलुनीकियों को लिखवाई पत्री में मसीही विश्वासियों को सचेत किया कि वे चिह्न-चमत्कारों के पीछे न जाएं, क्योंकि अंत के दिनों में शैतान ऐसे कार्यों के द्वारा लोगों को भटका देगा और विनाश में ले जाएगा, क्योंकि उन्होंने परमेश्वर के वचन पर विश्वास करने के स्थान पर अलौकिक बातों पर विश्वास किया और झूठ में फंस गए (2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 2:9-12);
प्रभु यीशु ने, और पुराने नियम के नबियों तथा नए नियम के प्रेरितों ने तो मुर्दों में प्राण डाले थे; किन्तु अंत के समय में तो यहाँ तक होगा कि शैतान मूरत में भी प्राण डालेगा और उससे बुलवाएगा (प्रकाशितवाक्य 13:14-15)।
परमेश्वर का वचन इस बात के लिए बहुत स्पष्ट है परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में प्राथमिकता और महत्व परमेश्वर के वचन और उसकी आज्ञाकारिता का है। प्रभु यीशु ने अपने पहाड़ी उपदेश में, एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण शिक्षा दी है, “जो मुझ से, हे प्रभु, हे प्रभु कहता है, उन में से हर एक स्वर्ग के राज्य में प्रवेश न करेगा, परन्तु वही जो मेरे स्वर्गीय पिता की इच्छा पर चलता है। उस दिन बहुतेरे मुझ से कहेंगे; हे प्रभु, हे प्रभु, क्या हम ने तेरे नाम से भविष्यवाणी नहीं की, और तेरे नाम से दुष्टात्माओं को नहीं निकाला, और तेरे नाम से बहुत अचम्भे के काम नहीं किए? तब मैं उन से खुलकर कह दूंगा कि मैं ने तुम को कभी नहीं जाना, हे कुकर्म करने वालों, मेरे पास से चले जाओ” (मत्ती 7:21-23)। यहाँ प्रभु द्वारा कही गई बातों पर ध्यान दीजिए:
जिनके लिए प्रभु ने यह बात कही है, वे प्रभु को संबोधित कर रहे थे, किसी अन्य देवी-देवता या अलौकिक शक्ति को नहीं;
वे संख्या में “बहुतेरे” होंगे, थोड़े से नहीं;
उन्होंने जो कुछ भी किया, वह प्रभु यीशु के नाम से किया, अपने नाम से या किसी अन्य देवी-देवता के नाम से नहीं;
उन्होंने जो कुछ किया, वह वही सब था जो आज पवित्र आत्मा के नाम से गलत शिक्षाएं सिखाने और फैलाने वाले करने पर ज़ोर देते हैं - भविष्यवाणियाँ करना, दुष्टात्माओं को निकालना, अचंभे के कार्य करना;
उन्होने यह सब थोड़ा सा या कभी-कभार नहीं वरन बहुतायत से किया;
उन्होंने यह नहीं कहा कि “हमने करने के प्रयास किए”, या “हमने यह सब करने की लालसा रखी”; वरन यह कि हमने किया! अर्थात ये सभी कार्य उनके द्वारा हुए, उनके ये कार्य लोगों के सामने प्रत्यक्ष थे।
प्रभु यीशु ने उन से यह नहीं कहा कि “तुमने यह सब करने का प्रयास तो किया किन्तु तुम से हो नहीं सका”; वरन उनके इन दावों को झूठ या गलत न बताने के द्वारा प्रभु ने अप्रत्यक्ष रीति से उनके द्वारा यह सब किए जाने की पुष्टि भी की;
किन्तु फिर भी प्रभु ने उन्हें कहा “मैंने तुम्हें कभी नहीं जाना” और उन्हें पूर्णतः अस्वीकार कर दिया;
प्रभु ने उनके कार्यों को झुठलाया नहीं, वरन उन कार्यों को “कुकर्म” कहा।
प्रभु द्वारा उनके लिए कही गई इस अनपेक्षित और कठोर बात का आधार पद 21 के अंत में प्रभु यीशु द्वारा कहा गया वाक्य है “वही जो मेरे स्वर्गीय पिता की इच्छा पर चलता है”; अर्थात इन लोगों में परमेश्वर तथा उसके वचन की आज्ञाकारिता का स्थान नहीं था। चाहे वे संख्या में बहुत थे, और वे प्रभु के नाम से और बहुतायत से ये सभी भविष्यवाणियाँ, चिह्न और चमत्कार करते थे किन्तु वे परमेश्वर की इच्छा पर नहीं चलते थे, उनकी अपनी ही धारणाएं, अपने ही विश्वास, अपनी ही बातें और शिक्षाएं थीं, जिन्हें वे मानते, मनाते, और मनवाते थे - और अपनी यह मन-गढ़न्त बातें, अपनी मन-मर्ज़ी वे प्रभु परमेश्वर के नाम से बताते, चलाते, सिखाते और दिखाते थे। किन्तु उनके द्वारा अपनी बातों को प्रभु के नाम से बताने, सिखाने, और दिखाने, तथा उनकी पुष्टि अपने चिह्न और चमत्कारों के द्वारा करने के द्वारा, उनकी बातें प्रभु परमेश्वर की बातें नहीं बन गईं। वे मनुष्यों की बातें और शिक्षाएं थीं, और मनुष्यों ही की रहीं; प्रभु परमेश्वर ने उन्हें कोई महत्व अथवा स्वीकृति नहीं दी, बल्कि न केवल उन्हें पूर्णतः तिरस्कार कर दिया, वरन ऐसा करने वालों को अपने पास से निकाल बाहर भी कर दिया।
हमारी आत्मिकता का प्रमाण हमारे द्वारा प्रभु परमेश्वर और उसके वचन को दी जाने वाली प्राथमिकता और आज्ञाकारिता है; हम में विद्यमान पवित्र आत्मा के फलों की हमारे जीवन और व्यवहार उपस्थिति है। जो प्रभु के वचन को आदर और महत्व देता है, प्रभु और परमेश्वर पिता उसे आदर और महत्व देते हैं, उसमें और उसके साथ आकर रहते हैं, और परमेश्वर के वचन के प्रति उस व्यक्ति का प्रेम ही परमेश्वर के प्रति उसके प्रेम का सूचक एवं प्रमाण है (यूहन्ना 14:21, 23)। इसके अतिरिक्त और कोई प्रमाण परमेश्वर ने बाइबल में नहीं दिया है।
यदि आप मसीही विश्वासी हैं, तो अपने जीवन को जाँच-परख कर देख लीजिए कि परमेश्वर के वचन और आज्ञाकारिता के प्रति आपकी स्थिति, आपके जीवन में उनके लिए प्राथमिकता की दशा क्या है? क्या आप परमेश्वर के प्रति अपने समर्पण, और उसकी आज्ञाकारिता में जीवन जीने के द्वारा अपनी आत्मिकता को प्रदर्शित एवं प्रमाणित करते हैं; या फिर उन झूठी शिक्षाएं देने वालों और चिह्न-चमत्कारों की बातों पर ज़ोर देने वालों की बातों में फंसे हुए हैं? सही और गलत की पहचान करना कठिन नहीं है, बहुत सीधा और स्पष्ट है - जो बातें, कार्य, और व्यवहार लोग पवित्र आत्मा के नाम से करते हैं, क्या प्रभु यीशु मसीह और उनके शिष्यों की बातों, कार्यों, और व्यवहार में वे देखने को मिलती हैं? यदि नहीं, तो फिर क्यों केवल उनके कहने भर से, उनके द्वारा किए जाने वाले विचित्र व्यवहार, उछल-कूद, शोर-शराबे, और बाइबल से बाहर की बातों को पवित्र आत्मा की ओर से करवाया गया माना जाए? क्यों उनकी अपने मन से कही गई बातों को प्राथमिकता दी जाए, और परमेश्वर के अटल और सदा सच्चे वचन की बातों को अनदेखा किया जाए? वास्तविकता को पहचानिए और विनाश से बचने के लिए हर एक गलत शिक्षा से तथा गलत शिक्षा देने वाले की संगति से बाहर निकलकर परमेश्वर तथा उसके वचन के प्रति समर्पित और आज्ञाकारिता का जीवन व्यतीत कीजिए।
यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Proof of the Holy Spirit - Obedience, or, Signs & Wonders?
We have seen in the previous article that for man to be pleasing to God and to be useful and effective for Him in ministry, in God’s eyes, man’s obedience to God has the highest priority. We have also seen that God not only desires that all of His people remain engaged in work the work that He has already ordained and assigned to them; but to help them in this task, He has given His Holy Spirit as a helper to man, and the Holy Spirit gives gifts to everyone that are appropriate for the person’s God assigned work and ministry. This is an established fact of the Bible that from the moment of salvation, the moment a person truly becomes a Born-Again Christian Believer, the Holy Spirit comes to reside in the person for all times. The presence of the Holy Spirit in the person’s life is evidenced by the person’s changed life and his bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 7:15-20). All of these are pre-determined by God and given to every Believer, and no one needs to do anything extra for receiving any of these after salvation.
But still, those who preach and teach wrong doctrines and false teachings in the name of the Holy Spirit, keep on deceiving the people and creating doubts in their minds. They falsely keep teaching and emphasizing about various things that, according to them, ought to be seen in a person having the Holy Spirit. One of these false teachings very emphatically put forth by them is that those having the Holy Spirit should have the power to do signs and wonders. Undoubtedly, the power to do signs and wonders is a gift of the Holy Spirit, but there is no teaching in the Bible that this gift is given to every Christian Believer, nor does the Bible say that the proof of the presence of the Holy Spirit in a person is his having the power to do signs and wonders. Rather, on the contrary, God has often cautioned His people, in both the Old as well as the New Testaments, that they stay alert and do not fall for the deception of those who show signs and wonders, and do not get misled away from God by these people. God’s people should always use the Word of God as the standard to examine and evaluate the truth of every teaching and doctrine.
This is not only a practical truth of the Bible, but also a practical truth of general living that Satan and his messengers have the power to do signs, wonders, magic, foretell events etc., and influence people by these powers, control people, and mislead and misguide them away from the truth of God’s Word into wrong paths. The Bible very clearly tells about some such people who had this power and ability in them, and they could influence the society and control people through these powers, and thereby acquired name and fame. If they did not have these powers and abilities, then how could they influence the society, control people and make a name for themselves? God’s Word not only tells about these people but God also cautioned against going with them, believing in them, and instructed His people to stay away from them. These cautions and instructions from God about them are ample proof that the power these people had was not from God, but from the enemy of God, the devil.
Let us look at some examples from God’s Word about this:
In Egypt, before Pharaoh, the signs and wonders that Moses and Aaron did through the power of God, Pharaoh’s magicians also could do some of those (Exodus 7:8-12, 19-22; 8:5-7).
The Lord God instructed in His Law to stay away from those sorcerers, spiritist, practitioners of witchcraft etc. (Deuteronomy 18:9-14).
King Nebuchadnezzar had magicians, astrologers, sorcerers in his court, but now they could not tell or interpret the King’s dream (Daniel 2:2-7; 4:4-7).
Simon the sorcerer used to astonish the people of Samaria with his sorcery, and the people were so impressed with him that they believed he had God’s power in him (Acts 8:9-11).
Paul cast out an evil spirit of divination from a servant girl (Acts 16:16-18).
After coming into the Christian Faith, those who used to practice magic brought and burnt their books (Acts 19:18-19); i.e., their knowledge and skill was believed in, learnt, and taught. In those days, when books were written with hands very laboriously, who would write books about things that were false and without any evident proof, and why? Maybe, not everything written in those books was true, but there must have been some truth, because of which people could be influenced and controlled.
God the Holy Spirit, through Paul cautioned the Christian Believers in Thessalonica, that they do not follow signs and wonders, because in the end times, Satan will beguile and mislead away the people by these things into eternal destruction, since they did not believe in the truth of God’s Word, but trusted in these deceptions (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
Some of the prophets of the Old Testament, the Lord Jesus, and some Apostles of the New Testament brought some dead people back to life. But in the end times Satan will put life into an image and make it speak (Revelation 13:14-15)
The Word of God is very clear about the fact that in God’s eyes the primacy and importance is of God’s Word and its obedience. The Lord Jesus has given a very important teaching in His Sermon on the Mount about this, “Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” (Matthew 7:21-23). Take note of the things the Lord Jesus has said here:
The people about whom the Lord Jesus has said these things were addressing the Lord Jesus, and not some pagan god or goddess or power;
As the Lord has said, they will be “many”, not just a few;
Whatever these people did, they did it in the name of the Lord, not in the name of some pagan god or goddess or power;
All the things that they did, are the same that those who preach and teach wrong doctrines and false teachings today do - prophesying, casting out demons, show signs and wonders;
They did all of this not occasionally but abundantly - did many wonders;
They are not telling the Lord here that they “tried to do all of these”, or that “they desired to do all of these”; but they claimed to do all of them! Meaning that all these things were done by them, and the people saw them all;
The Lord Jesus did not respond by saying anything like, “you tried to do these, but you could not do them;” but by not correcting or contradicting them about their claims; thus, the Lord indirectly acknowledged that they had indeed done the things they claimed;
Still, the Lord said to them, “I never knew you; depart from Me” and totally rejected them outrightly;
The Lord did not deny their works, but called those works “practicing lawlessness.”
The basis for the Lord Jesus unexpectedly saying such a harsh and bitter thing about them is His statement at the end of verse 21 “but he who does the will of My Father in heaven;” i.e., these people did not pay heed to God’s Word and being obedient to Him. Even though they were “many” in number, and they showed many wonders and prophecies in the name of the Lord Jesus, but they were not functioning according to and in the will of God. They were following their own notions, concepts, beliefs, and contrived teachings; they not only followed these but also taught and emphasized upon people to do like they were doing, all in the name of the Lord. But because of their preaching and teaching their own doctrines and teachings in the name of the Lord, and claiming to affirm them by their signs and wonders, those wrong doctrines and false teachings did not become God’s doctrines and teachings. They were the things and teachings of man, and they remained the things and teachings of man; the Lord Jesus did not give them any importance nor accepted them. Rather He outrightly rejected them all, and also cast away all those who practiced these things.
The proof of the Holy Spirit residing in us is our giving the primary position and obedience to God’s Word, and the presence of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our life. Those who give honor and importance to God’s Word, God the Father and the Lord Jesus give him honor and importance as well, they come and stay with him and in him; the love for the Word of God in that person’s life is the proof of his loving God (John 14:21, 23). There is no other proof given by God in the Bible. It is not difficult to recognize and differentiate between the true and false teachings; it is very simple and straightforward - the things people say and do, and the way they live and behave, in the name of the Holy Spirit, are they the same that the Lord Jesus and His disciples used to say and do, and the way they used to live and behave? If not, then just because they make some claims and make strange noises, jump, shout, behave in an odd manner, and do things not mentioned in the Bible, then say that this is all by the Holy Spirit, does not make it Biblical or through the power of the Holy Spirit. Why should their unBiblical contrived teachings be believed in and the factual teachings of God’s infallible, eternal, true Word be ignored? Beware, and recognize the truth, and to stay safe from being led away into destruction, get away from all false teachings and wrong doctrines; be surrendered and obedient to God and His Word for all things, in all things.
If you are still thinking of yourself as being a Christian, a child of God, entitled to a place in heaven, because of being born in a particular family and having fulfilled the religious rites and rituals prescribed under your religion or denomination since your childhood, then you too need to come out of your misunderstanding of Biblical facts and start learning, understanding, and living according to what the Word of God says, instead of what any denominational creed says or teaches. Make the necessary corrections in your life now while you have the time and opportunity; lest by the time you realize your mistake, it is too late to do anything about it.
If you are still not Born Again, have not obtained salvation, or have not asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness for your sins, then you have the opportunity to do so right now. A short prayer said voluntarily with a sincere heart, with heartfelt repentance for your sins, and a fully submissive attitude, “Lord Jesus, I confess that I have disobeyed You, and have knowingly or unknowingly, in mind, in thought, in attitude, and in deeds, committed sins. I believe that you have fully borne the punishment of my sins by your sacrifice on the cross, and have paid the full price of those sins for all eternity. Please forgive my sins, change my heart and mind towards you, and make me your disciple, take me with you." God longs for your company and wants to see you blessed, but to make this possible, is your personal decision. Will you not say this prayer now, while you have the time and opportunity to do so - the decision is yours.
