मरे हुओं का जी उठना – 2

प्रभु यीशु का पुनरुत्थान – भविष्यवाणी हुआ

 

    अब हम इब्रानियों 6:1-2 में दी गई छः में से पाँचवीं आरंभिक बात, “मरे हुओं के जी उठने” पर विचार कर रहे हैं। पिछले लेख में हम ने देखा था कि परमेश्वर ने सभी वास्तव में नया-जन्म पाए हुए मसीही विश्वासियों से प्रतिज्ञा कि है कि वे भी, जिस प्रकार से प्रभु यीशु का पुनरुत्थान हुआ था, उसी तरह से फिर से जिलाए जाएँगे, और फिर अनन्तकाल तक उस के साथ स्वर्ग में रहेंगे। साथ ही, प्रभु यीशु का मृतकों में से जिलाया जाना मसीही विश्वास की धुरी है; और यह एक पुष्टि की हुई और प्रमाणित घटना है। यदि प्रभु यीशु मसीह मरे हुओं में से जी नहीं उठा, तो फिर मसीही विश्वास और उस में दी गई परमेश्वर के साथ स्वर्ग में अनन्त जीवन की प्रतिज्ञा का कोई आधार नहीं है। प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान का महत्व इतना बड़ा है कि परमेश्वर ने उसे न केवल प्रभु यीशु के ईश्वरत्व का, बल्कि उसी के जगत का न्यायी होने का प्रमाण बनाया है (प्रेरितों 17:31)। बाइबल में 1 कुरिन्थियों 15 अध्याय, “पुनरुत्थान का अध्याय” कहलाता है क्योंकि पवित्र आत्मा ने प्रेरित पौलुस के द्वारा पुनरुत्थान से सम्बन्धित बहुत से महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य और अभिप्राय उस में लिखवाए हैं; और हम “मरे हुओं में से जी उठने” के इस अध्ययन में उन बातों को उपयोग करेंगे। इस अध्याय का केन्द्र प्रभु यीशु का पुनरुत्थान है, जिस पर फिर मसीही विश्वासियों को दी गई परमेश्वर की प्रतिज्ञाएँ और आश्वासन आधारित हैं। इस लिए हम प्रभु यीशु के मृतकों में से जिलाए जाने के अभिप्रायों के साथ आरम्भ करेंगे। हम प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान के इन अभिप्रायों को तीन शीर्षकों के अन्तर्गत देखेंगे:

    1.   यह भविष्यवाणी किया हुआ है

    2.   यह पुष्टि हुआ और प्रमाणित किया हुआ है

    3.   यह मृत्यु पर विजय की सामर्थ्य है

    आज हम इन तीन में से पहले अभिप्राय पर विचार करेंगे: यह भविष्यवाणी की हुई घटना है।

    प्रेरित पौलुस ने कुरिन्थुस की मण्डली को लिखी पहली पत्री में, 1 कुरिन्थियों 15:3-4 में लिखा कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह का मारा जाना, गाड़ा जाना, और मृतकों में से जिलाया जाना कोई अनायास या अप्रत्याशित घटना नहीं थी, जिसे बाद में महिमान्वित कर के एक धार्मिक आवरण पहना दिया गया, जैसा कि बहुत सारे सन्देह करने वाले, या वे जो पुनरुत्थान की घटना को झूठा ठहराना चाहते हैं, आरोप लगाते हैं। सभी घटनाएँ, प्रभु यीशु के मारे जाने, गाड़े जाने, और जी उठने से सम्बन्धित सभी बातें पूर्व-निर्धारित थीं, उन सभी की पहले से ही भविष्यवाणी की जा चुकी थी, और उन्हें परमेश्वर द्वारा दिए गए पवित्र शास्त्र में लिखा गया था। मूसा द्वारा दी गयी सम्पूर्ण व्यवस्था, सभी भेंट और बलिदान, मिलाप वाले तम्बू की रचना, सामग्री, और उस में होने वाले कार्य – सभी आने वाले मुक्तिदाता के प्ररूप थे, उस मसीहा के जिसे परमेश्वर मानवजाति को शैतान और पाप के शिकंजे से छुड़ाने के लिए भेजने जा रहा था (इब्रानियों 10:1)।

    दाऊद ने मसीह की भविष्यवाणी से सम्बन्धित अपने एक भजन में प्रभु के जिलाए जाने की भविष्यवाणी करते हुए लिखा है: “क्योंकि तू मेरे प्राण को अधोलोक में न छोड़ेगा, न अपने पवित्र भक्त को सड़ने देगा” (भजन 16:10)।

    स्वयं प्रभु यीशु ने, जब वे जीवित थे और इस्राएल में सेवकाई कर रहे थे, अपनी मृत्यु और पुनरुत्थान के बारे में बताया था। उन्होंने योना नबी के उदाहरण से बताया (मत्ती 12:40); उन्होंने अपने शिष्यों को इसके बारे में सिखाया (मत्ती 17:21-23); और उन के पकड़वाए जाने से थोड़ा समय पहले एक बार फिर अपने शिष्यों को उसके बारे में याद करवाया (मरकुस 14:27-28)। किन्तु शिष्यों तथा प्रभु के साथ रहने वालों को प्रभु की बात याद नहीं रही। सप्ताह के पहले दिन, जो स्त्रियाँ प्रभु की देह पर लेप लगाने के लिए आई थीं, उन्हें कब्र पर स्वर्गदूत ने स्मरण करवाया कि “वह यहां नहीं, परन्तु जी उठा है; स्मरण करो; कि उसने गलील में रहते हुए तुम से कहा था” (लूका 24:6); न ही पतरस और यूहन्ना को यह बात याद रही “वे तो अब तक पवित्र शास्त्र की वह बात न समझते थे, कि उसे मरे हुओं में से जी उठना होगा” (यूहन्ना 20:9); और हम लूका 24:9-11 से देखते हैं कि प्रभु के शिष्य इस बात को मानने के लिए भी तैयार नहीं थे।

    भविष्यवाणी किया हुआ का अर्थ है वह जो पहले से तय और निर्धारित किया गया है; और यह एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात होती है। पवित्र शास्त्र में भविष्यवाणी किया हुआ होने का अर्थ है कि जिस प्रकार से पवित्र शास्त्र का अनन्तकालीन महत्व है (भजन 138:2), और वह सत्य, अपरिवर्तनीय, और अकाट्य है (भजन 119:89, 160) उसी प्रकार से पवित्र शास्त्र में जो कुछ भी लिखा गया है, उस का भी वही महत्व है, वही गुण हैं; और इसीलिए प्रभु के पुनरुत्थान की इस घटना के भी वैसे ही अनन्तकालीन महत्व और तात्पर्य हैं।

    परमेश्वर ने अपने आप को, अपने पवित्र शास्त्र को, और अपने मसीहा को, उस के मारे जाने, गाड़े जाने, और जी उठने की भविष्यवाणियों के दिए जाने और उन के पूरा भी किए जाने के द्वारा प्रमाणित किया है। आज तक सँसार भर के अनेकों लोगों ने प्रभु यीशु के मारे जाने, गाड़े जाने, और मृतकों में से जी उठने को गलत प्रमाणित करने के अनेकों प्रयास किए हैं, किन्तु कोई भी, कभी भी, उसे झूठ या मन-गढ़न्त प्रमाणित नहीं कर सका है; बल्कि ऐसे कितने ही नास्तिक और प्रभु विरोधी हुए हैं जो अपने इन प्रयासों के द्वारा उन्हें मिले हुए प्रमाणों के कारण प्रभु के विश्वासी और अनुयायी बन गए, प्रभु के प्रचारक बन कर प्रभु की सेवा करने लगे। इसलिए किसी को भी प्रभु यीशु और उस के वचन बाइबल पर विश्वास करने में ज़रा भी संकोच नहीं करना चाहिए। मसीही विश्वास किसी काल्पनिक अथवा नाशमान मनुष्य पर आधारित नहीं है, बल्कि स्वयं परमेश्वर और उस के अनन्तकालीन वचन पर आधारित है।

    अगले लेख में हम प्रभु यीशु के पुनरुत्थान के दूसरे अभिप्राय - यह पुष्टि हुआ और प्रमाणित किया हुआ है, पर विचार करेंगे।

    यदि आपने प्रभु की शिष्यता को अभी तक स्वीकार नहीं किया है, तो अपने अनन्त जीवन और स्वर्गीय आशीषों को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभी प्रभु यीशु के पक्ष में अपना निर्णय कर लीजिए। जहाँ प्रभु की आज्ञाकारिता है, उसके वचन की बातों का आदर और पालन है, वहाँ प्रभु की आशीष और सुरक्षा भी है। प्रभु यीशु से अपने पापों के लिए क्षमा माँगकर, स्वेच्छा से तथा सच्चे मन से अपने आप को उसकी अधीनता में समर्पित कर दीजिए - उद्धार और स्वर्गीय जीवन का यही एकमात्र मार्ग है। आपको स्वेच्छा और सच्चे मन से प्रभु यीशु मसीह से केवल एक छोटी प्रार्थना करनी है, और साथ ही अपना जीवन उसे पूर्णतः समर्पित करना है। आप यह प्रार्थना और समर्पण कुछ इस प्रकार से भी कर सकते हैं, “प्रभु यीशु, मैं अपने पापों के लिए पश्चातापी हूँ, उनके लिए आप से क्षमा माँगता हूँ। मैं आपका धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपने मेरे पापों की क्षमा और समाधान के लिए उन पापों को अपने ऊपर लिया, उनके कारण मेरे स्थान पर क्रूस की मृत्यु सही, गाड़े गए, और मेरे उद्धार के लिए आप तीसरे दिन जी भी उठे, और आज जीवित प्रभु परमेश्वर हैं। कृपया मुझे और मेरे पापों को क्षमा करें, मुझे अपनी शरण में लें, और मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लें। मैं अपना जीवन आप के हाथों में समर्पित करता हूँ।” सच्चे और समर्पित मन से की गई आपकी एक प्रार्थना आपके वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को, इस लोक के और परलोक के जीवन को, अनन्तकाल के लिए स्वर्गीय एवं आशीषित बना देगी।

Resurrection of the Dead - 2

 Lord Jesus’s Resurrection - Prophesied

We are now considering the fifth of the six elementary principles given in Hebrews 6:1-2, i.e., “Resurrection of the Dead.” In the previous article we have seen that God has promised the all the truly Born-Again Christian Believers, that they too will be resurrected from the dead, as the Lord Jesus was resurrected, and will stay with Him forever in heaven. Moreover, the resurrection of the Lord Jesus is the pivotal event for the Christian Faith; and is a verified and confirmed historical fact. If the Lord Jesus did not rise from the dead, then there is no basis for the Christian Faith and its promise of eternal life in heaven with God. Such is the importance of the Lord’s resurrection, that God has made it the proof of not only His divinity but also of His being the Judge of the world (Acts 17:31). In the Bible, 1 Corinthians 15, is also known as the “Resurrection chapter” since the Holy Spirit, through the Apostle Paul has had many important facts and implications of resurrection written down in it; and we will be using it for this study on “Resurrection of the Dead.” The central theme of this chapter is the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, which then forms the basis for all the promises and assurances given by God to the Christian Believers. Therefore, we will begin by considering the implications of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. We will consider these implications under its three main aspects:

1. It is Prophesied

2. It is Proven and given as Proof

3. It is the Power over death

 

Today, we will take up the first of these three aspects: The Resurrection was a Prophesied event.

The Apostle Paul in writing to the Corinthian Church says in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, that the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus were not chance events that were later glorified and given a religious significance, as is alleged by some skeptics, or those who want to falsify the resurrection account. All the events, everything that happened related to the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus was intended, and had been prophesied beforehand, recorded in the Scriptures given by God. The whole of the Law of Moses, the sacrifices and offerings, the construction and functioning of the tabernacle - everything foreshadowed the coming redeemer, the Messiah whom God was to send to redeem mankind from the clutches of Satan and sin (Hebrews 10:1).

David in one of his prophetic Messianic Psalms writes about the Lord being resurrected: "Psalms 16:10 - For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption."

Lord Jesus himself spoke of His death and resurrection, while He was alive and ministering in Israel. He cited Jonah as an example Matthew 12:40; He taught His disciples about it Matthew 17:21-23; and just before His being caught He reminded the disciples again about it Mark 14:27-28. But the disciples and Lord's associates did not remember the teaching of the Lord. The women who came to anoint His body on the first day of the week were reminded by the Angel there that the Lord had told them about this “He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee” (Luke 24:6); neither did Peter and John remember it “For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead” (John 20:9); and we see from Luke 24:9-11 that the disciples were unwilling to accept it.

Prophesied means something that has been pre-determined and pre-ordained; and is something of great importance. Prophesied in the Scriptures implies that just as the Scriptures are of eternal significance (Psalm 138:2), are true, unchanging, and incontrovertible (Psalm 119:89, 160), therefore whatever is written in the Scriptures also has the same qualities, and this event of the Lord’s resurrection also has the same eternal significance and meaning.

God has proved Himself, His Scriptures and His Christ by foretelling it, and then fulfilling the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Till date numerous people all over the world have made numerous attempts to disprove the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, but still no one has been able to prove it false or contrived. Rather, there have been many skeptics and antagonists of the Lord, who set out to prove themselves right, but in the face of the evidence they accumulated about the Lord Jesus, became Believers in the Lord Jesus, His followers, and became His preachers to serve Him. Therefore no one need be unsure or reluctant to believe in the Lord Jesus or His Word the Bible. The Christian Faith is not grounded on an imaginary or perishable person but on God and His eternal Word itself.

In the next article, we will consider the second aspect of the resurrection of the Lord - It is Proven and given as Proof.

If you have not yet accepted the discipleship of the Lord, make your decision in favor of the Lord Jesus now to ensure your eternal life and heavenly blessings. Where there is obedience to the Lord, where there is respect and obedience to His Word, there is also the blessing and protection of the Lord. Repenting of your sins, and asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, voluntarily and sincerely, surrendering yourself to Him - is the only way to salvation and heavenly life. You only have to say a short but sincere prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ willingly and with a penitent heart, and at the same time completely commit and submit your life to Him. You can also make this prayer and submission in words something like, “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins and repent of them. I thank you for taking my sins upon yourself, paying for them through your life.  Because of them you died on the cross in my place, were buried, and you rose again from the grave on the third day for my salvation, and today you are the living Lord God and have freely provided to me the forgiveness, and redemption from my sins, through faith in you. Please forgive my sins, take me under your care, and make me your disciple. I submit my life into your hands." Your one prayer from a sincere and committed heart will make your present and future life, in this world and in the hereafter, heavenly and blessed for eternity.
